amazon small and light

Amazon launched a new program today called Amazon Small and Light where you can get FREE shipping on small and light merchandise!

If you’ve ever been frustrated over paying for shipping for really tiny and light items, your worries are now over! As long as the item is $10 or less, under 8 oz and measures less than 9x6x2 inches, it’ll ship for FREE.

The great thing about this program is that this offer is open to all those who shop at Amazon (you don’t need an Amazon Prime account).

How does that work? I am trying to order something that weighs 4 oz and is a small bottle less than 9 x 6 x 2. It is fulfulled by Amazon however it is not giving me a free s&h option.

When it didn’t work for me, I googled this subject and found out that Amazon is still working to get all of its small items entered into this new system.

One source also said that these small items each have to cost less than $10 in order to be eligible.
