I have never shopped at Rite Aid before. Do they allow you to use more than 1 store coupon of the same kind or should we stick to using only 1 and doing #3 cards only? Thanks so much!

      • Design Mom

Yes you can use more than one like coupon.

      • SmoochTheCook

You can use their store ad coupon with the American greetings card, but the store ad coupons are to be used only once per transaction/wellness card. I've heard of people using the coupon twice, but in separate transactions. If you buy 3 cards, using the store q and the manu q, you get $4/3.

At St Simons Harris Teeter you get a free easter candy dish with the purchase of 3 cards…

    • Dawn

If it excludes cards .99 and less, will the deal still be for free cards? What is there next least expensive? Seems like greeting cards are always so pricey! This looks like it might be a good opportunity though.

      • Rachel

Yeah… I don't understand how it is free either. Does American Greetings have cards for $1.33?

        • Stacielovescoupons

Yes, they have cards for $1.29, not many, but they do have some. I just got 3 $.99 cards and used the $3 off coupon in the ad and got all 3 FREE!!

When I printed this, it took up the whole sheet of paper. Is that right, or should it be smaller? Does it matter?

      • Mcleodsc

Yea-it was really big. Do you think it will scan okay being so big? Also it was a PDF so it could be saved and printed later. I think I will wait and let someone else use this and report back before I try it.

    • BabyMomma

First off, using the 2 coupons is $4 off 3 cards, so in now way free since cant be used on the 99c cards…
Second to get it to print smaller when you click print, under options (where it is normally listed “fit to page”) click on Booklet print and it will print a much smaller size

    • Hjemerson2

I could not print they wanted me to buy something? I never had this happen before >

    • Sewhartsc

For your info the coupon is redeemable for Just For You or Carlton cards that are by American Greetings. These cards are sold at Walmart and Carlton brand is sold at Target stores. $1.99 cards are the least expensive that you can use since .99 cards are excluded from this coupon. Hope this helps answer some questions.

If you combine the two coupons you get $4 off of 3 cards. Since it excludes the 99 cent cards, the next step up is the 1.99 cards. I've never seen cards for random prices in between 99 cents and 1.99, so the best deal would be if you found 3 cards for 1.99 each, totaling 6 dollars- then take 4 dollars off, so $2 spent for 3 cards. Not bad at all, but not free. The last time there was an American Greeting (incl. Just for You and Carlton) coupon like this to combine with a Target store coupon, it was a very similiar scenario. Out of 100's of cards at the store, many were 99 cents (thus, excluded) and many were 2.99 and above. Out of all the cards in the entire store, there were maybe 5 or 6 out of 100's that were priced at 1.99 to make the best use of the deal.

I love that you give us so many heads up on great deals, but your scenario for “FREE” is not realistic. I'm sure many people who come to this site have printed the coupons hoping for free cards, when in reality they will be spend 2 dollars or more (much likely to be more since there will only be a handful of cards to choose from that are $1.99)

I'm sorry, I see now that it says $3 from Rite Aid. I thought it said $1. My sincere apologies.
People who are able to find 3 cards priced at 1.99 will get them free. There is a very limited selection of $1.99 cards, though.
Sorry again. I didn't mean to be such a pain!

        • Tfitz77

Still, that is only $4 off. Unless you can find cards priced between $1 and $1.33, it is not free. You were correct in your first response, as far as I can see. :)

    • Rachel

the coupon for Rite-Aid did not exclude 99cents cards. You could just get three 99cents cards and use the Rite Aid coupon and not worry about using the MQ. Then they would be free +tax… Right?

      • kori

thank you!! i was trying to use both q's, but saw the 99 cent exclusion and the others are so expensive, it wasn't looking like a good deal. didn't have time to search through them all for good priced ones. now i will go back and get the 3 of the 99 cent ones and just use the RA q so they are all free. :)

    • Jesstopher

My Rite Aid had a large selection of really cute cards for $1.99. After coupons and tax I paid $1.40 or something like that. Although I couldn't find any way to make them free with the price points of the cards, I am please with the deal I got!

    • Bdbsweets

mmmkkk!!! I went to rite aid this morning (northern Kentucky) the coupon in the ad doesn't specify what the price of the card must be it simply says buy 3 cards save $3 ~~ the coupon I printed does say the .99 cent cards are excluded in this offer,,but I didn't need the printed coupon to get 3 cards for free I just needed the coupon in rite aid's ad!

    • ele

My local Rite Aid did not have the $3 coupon in their insert. The insert in the AJC had the $3 coupon. Can I still use it at my local store? What is up with that?

    • Lesley2k

I think K-mart also had an American Greeting Card coupon in their ad this week. Just an FYI.

    • Kdann6408

I bought 3 cards for .99 cents each…then used the $3 off 3 card purchase. I paid .03 cents!! Awesome deal!! My Rite Aid also had many .99 cent cards to choose from!

I went to Harris Teeter today & they have ADORABLE Easter Candy dishes FREE with the purchase of 4 American Greeting Cards ($1.99 & up). I used my $1.00/3 cards (doubled to $2.00 – last day for this!) and got the cute dish free ($10 value).
