If you live anywhere near Atlanta you need to get your hands on the Food Depot weekly Ad!!  Turn to page six of the ad and you will find a manufacturer coupon for $10 off any Turkey when you buy 12 participating Kraft items!!  Many of these items are already on sale, plus the coupon is for the turkey so you still get to use coupons on the Kraft items.

So find the ad, cut the coupon and then pick your store of choice to use it in!  You will need the actual ad.

I’m beside myself excited for you guys…

(thanks Barbara!!)

My husband is traveling to Atlanta today.  Will I be able to use this since I live in Charleston?

    • Missthemister

I live in Atlanta and have never heard of Food Depot…still I’ll scour around for the ad.

      • Missthemister

Now, clicking the website, I see why I’ve never heard of them…they are all just outside of Atlanta.  Still, looks like a great deal for those who can find the coupon.

        • Ann Bowes

If you come to Smyrna there is one at the corner of South Cobb and Concord Road.  It is about 4 miles from the I285 exit  for south Cobb.  It is in the shopping center behind the bank and Ruby Tuesdays.

          • Ruth

The Food Lion ad came in this week’s Wednesday Redplum Flyer that was in my mailbox. If you are coming to Smyrna, there are two Publix’s within a mile on either side of that Food Lion.

            • Anonymous

There’s a Food Lion in Smyrna?  Never knew that.  Will have to look it up.  Thanks!

      • Ranger1658

There are plenty of food depots in Atlanta area. Ex. Marrietta, smyrna, austell, Lithia Springs and Douglasville. There pretty popular and there meat is usually fresher than krogers.

        • Missthemister

Well, you know us in town dwellers, we don’t venture OTP much. ;-) I’ll need to check them out sometime when I’m out around Smyrna.

    • Softbrn

I might be wrong, but I don’t think that is a good deal.. especially if the turkey is $20+… you still have to buy 12 of the participating items… Who’s to say not go into Publix and buy a $9 turkey and then using your coupon on the items.. here you are bound to buying the 12 items and paying the additional amount for the turkey.. plus Food Depot has a 10% fee on all purchases..

      • How can it NOT be a good deal if you were going to be buying Kraft items anyway AND you can use coupons on those Kraft items AND many are already on sale for the holidays?

      • Jen

It’s a manufacuter’s coupon.  You can use it at Publix.  That’s the beauty of it!

    • If this a ManQ can you use it any where, or just the store which carries it in the ad? I live in WV and we have a small chain of the stores called Foodland with that exact coupon in it too. I ask cuz Kroger has much better deals on the Kraft items.

      • You can use it anywhere, if it the same coupon above.

    • Rhonda

We have a new Food Depot, but I have never shopped there before.  Does anyone know  if they accept other coupons, like manufac. coups?

      • Amberqpon

They accept man. coupons as well, just no doubling.

      • Mmtinga

We have one here also. I usually just purchase fresh veggies and  some meat that is on sale due to the 10% surcharge.  Most things there are not a good buy once you add the 10%, IMHO.

      • Barbara

They do not accept printed coupons or competitor coupons.

    • Mmtinga

I have several of these coupons. I do find it funny that the expiration date is 11-31-11. I personally could use another day or two in this month. lol

    • I want turkey!

I live in the metro atlanta area, and we have a food depot, but I cannot find the sales ad anywhere!  Those of you who have the coupon, did you find it in the Sunday AJC or in a different paper/edition?  Thanks a bunch!

      • Barbara

I’ve never seen a Food Depot ad in the papers. You’ll probably have to go into the store to get one.

      • Enterainwithstacey

I got mine in the mail

      • Mavis1296

Its at the store in their flyer.

    • Jamie

This coupon was also available in Hitchcock’s ad.  I am not sure if it was this week or last weeks ad.

    • Stacyannw

This coupon is also in the Birmingham area in the Western Market ad.

    • yoyomom

I live in metro Atlanta.  The closest from my house is about 20 miles away in Norcross…    I’ve never been there.  Do they have good price other than the ad?  Do they double coupons?

      • Barbara

Besides Kroger’s sales on pork tenderloin, I’ve never been able to beat Food Depot’s prices on meats anywhere. I was skeptical at first, thinking that the meat quality wouldn’t be very good. That was 6 years ago, and I still buy most of my meat there. The prices on fresh produce is pretty good, too. They do not double coupons or accept internet printables. They also add 10% to the total, which in some cases makes it a not-so-good deal on regular grocery items. I went this morning & picked up ground chuck that they had marked down from yesterday for $1.55/lb. As long as you use it or freeze it (what I always do) that day, it will be fine. I wouldn’t keep it in the fridge more than a day.

        • yoyomom

It is sad they do not accept internet coupon.  I was just thinking… to pay for the gas to get there doesn’t save much.  I maybe try to go there when I have a chance.  I always go to the International farmer’s market or Asian market called Assi for the fresh vegetable, meat and seafood.  The quality is not excellent, but ok.   I understand what you mean. Thank you.

    • Audry

does anyone know if this ad was in the ajc from 11/13?

      • Anonymous

        yes, it was.

        • Anonymous

nope, sorry.  It was in the red plum circular that comes in the mail on Tuesday.

    • SmoochTheCook

We got the same coupon in the Foodland Ad.  I couldn’t imagine that it was a savings, because of all of the items you have to purchase and I don’t need all that much jello.  :D  There’s a honeysuckle white $1 printable and also a “rebate” on butterball for a booklet of coupons…oh, I sooooo used these coupons last year.

      • Laura

I sure wish jello was on this coupons participating list :D because that’s what I’d get. Publix has the large pudding boxes on sale cheaper than the small ones, and I have $1/2 and $1.25/3 coupons. Trouble is I don’t need any of the items that are on coupons list.

    • Wilkeslydi

If anyone has any extra please email me at wilkeslydi@aol.com

      • Tmama

        just emailed you :)

    • Laura

Thanks!! I have a store about 2 miles from me. They put their sale paper in my mailbox every week & I never even look at it because I don’t like the 10% upcharge or that they don’t double coupons. I just dug it out of my recycle bin & clipped the coupon.

Wish I would have had it when the stove top was bogo last week at publix. I’d have gotten 12 of those and one of their .59 turkeys. Having a hard time with what to get from the list on the coupon because all that’s on sale at publix this week is cool whip, OM bacon, planter nuts & kraft chunk cheese and I really don’t need any of that.

    • Ckfourth

I live in North Atlanta and have never even heard the Food Depot!  Can someone tell me where it is?  Thanks!

      • Laura

go to myfooddepot. com for store locater, they have 25 listed around metro Atl.

      • Anne3

There is one that i know of on the south side. First one is off exit 2 on 675 South. If you turn right go go 1 block to the re light it is in the shopping center on you left as the anchor store.

    • I am the treasurer for a non-profit and had banking deposits to make this morning and whadaya know – Food Depot is on the same parking lot as the bank. Got 5 of their flyers and then went to Publix. Purchased 8 Philly Cream Cheese blocks (4/$5), two packs Oscar Myer bacon (2/$7) and two cool whips. (BOGO $1.67). Got a 12 lb Butterball turkey for $3.74. Yay!

    • Paige

I live in southwest virginia and this coupon was in my Foodland paper. Where it states it is a manufacturers coupon I plan to use mine at wal-mart. Caprisun juice drinks are included on the list and my daughter drinks them like crazy so I’m planning on getting the drinks along with some jello and hopefully find a small turkey close to $10!!

    • Barbara

Here is the scenario I’m going to try:

1 Kraft Singles (unsure of price)
      6 Philadelphia Cream Cheese (1.25/ea)
      3 Cool Whip (.97/ea)

      And use:
1 Free Kraft Singles (Kroger coupon, mailed it to me)
.55 off Kraft Singles (Ingles Thanksgiving Recipe & Coupon Book mailed)
      (3) .50/2 Philadelphia Cream Cheese Target coupon

The Kroger one says a store coupon & the Ingles one says Manufacturer coupon. If they take both, it should be $8.36 ($8.91 if they don’t) and I plan on getting one of the .59/lb turkeys.

Anyone see anything that may go awry with that?

    • Wizbuhk

Just a reminder that some Food Depot stores do not take internet coupons. My local store will only take mfg coupons or ones the mfg has mailed to you.

      • Barbara

The one near me won’t take them either. I was going to use this at Publix.

    • SaveAlot

Thanks I got a free turkey today with this, and plan on getting a couple more for the family.

    • MindyG

I tried using my coupon tonight at the Kroger off Dallas Hwy in Marietta, GA……when they scanned it, it beeped and came up as a fraudulent coupon!

I spoke with the manager and he gave me Kroger’s customer loyalty number to call and talk to about the coupon to see what they say…..he said he has never seen the coupon nor has he had any customers try to use it there….bummed, more work for me to save the $10!  Happy Holidays!
