pampers-cvs

CVS has a great deal mentioned on their website that will start tomorrow.  This is not advertised anywhere, so go here and print the screen to take it in with you to prove the deal if needed.

$5 ECB wyb Pampers at $8.99 ea
-$1 off Pampers PG 6/07
-$2 off Pampers $120 Savings Rebate Booklet
(makes it $1.99 to $2.99 ea)

There is no limit noted, though the limit for the price of $8.99 in the weekly ad says limit 3.

Have a $3 off $15 coupon?

Buy: (2) Pampers
Use:
-$3 off $15
(2) -$1 off coupons
Total Due: $12.98
Get Back: $10, makes it $1.49 ea
(would be .49 cents ea if you had (2) -$2 off coupons)

Update: You will need the printout. The ECB’s will not print automatically.  If your store does not honor the print out have the manager call corporate.  It is a legitimate deal and corporate will tell them to honor it.

To see the rest of the weekly CVS deals go here.

Thanks to Alissabeth for emailing this great deal!

    • Donna

Thank you so much! We REALLY need some diapers this week!

    • Anu

Thanks for all the hard work you do. Love your site.
Question – where do you get the 3$ off 15 coupon? Am I missing something? Thanks.

      • Jenny

The $3 off $15 would come by email or sometimes you check out and get one that prints on your receipt. It is still a great deal without one, but many folks got CVS emails this week so I though I would mention it.

If you haven’t already done so, go to CVS.com and sign up for an online account and they will start sending emails to you (it takes them about 4 weeks).

    • Jennifer

What an AMAZING deal!!! I have a $4 off $20 coupon; if I bought three in one transaction would it print $15 in ECBs?

    • momtaylor37

The site does not say the ECB limit per household. However, the Pampers price deal @ 8.99 is limited to 3. So, it is still unknown how many ECB deals we can do. Kind of a bummer, but I plan on getting 2 at this price, regardless..the 3rd if it prints 2! Even if it is only once, I have 2/$2 PG coupons, so it is still a good deal to me. 2 for the price of one. I am using it with the Fusion and Dawn and my 5/30 coupon.

    • momtaylor37

I forgot to say that you should get the ECB if you do them all in one, but it will come out as (1) $15 most likely. It might be cheaper to use the ECB to roll into the other 2 with your coupons, or combine them with other transactions, so you have individual $5 ECBs. Does that make sense? I prefer smaller amounts of ECB because I don’t want to waste any of the $$!!

I wish we knew the limit on ECBs. I would really like to buy 3 and get 15 ECBs. Is there anyway we could find out short of buying them and returning them if it doesn’t print one for every pack bought?

    • momtaylor37

So far, I’ve only seen people try it once…

    • nancy

Would it not say on the receit if limit is reached. Jenny thank you for the heads up.

    • Jen

If you’ve done this deal, please let us know if the screen print is required or if it’s printing automatically. I’m having trouble getting the screen to print but I want to try. Thanks!

    • I just had a comment on my blog from a lady who brought in her screenprint and everything, and no ECB’s printed out. THey wouldn’t force them either, because they said they couldn’t verify the screenprint was legit.

    • Melanie

I just did the deal and the ECBs did NOT print. However, I showed the cashier the ad and she printed them for me.

    • nachomamatoo

I went in to get the pampers deal. I did not get it. I will need to call the 800 number. The manager said he did not have an event code nor did it say anything on my receipt earning any reward. So he said he couldn’t print it out.
Also check your contour coupon. Mine was for test strips not the monitor so I lost out on that too!
      Stay tuned!

    • Mandy

In the Toys R Us ad, there is a manufact. coupon that is $5 off Pampers. Will CVS accept those. I used one at Target one time and they tried to give me a hard time, but ultimate accepted it.

    • katherine

take the ad mine didn’t print either and they had to force the computer to scan it!!!

    • Melissa

The CVS in Summerville at BB and Dorch. just took the copy of the online ad and printed the extra bucks. No problems at all. Another reason I love that store!!!

    • Christie

I took in the printout from the website. THe ecb’s did NOT auto print. The manager printed them for me seperately. I was able to get 3, but she didn’t seem pleased. I just told her that it was on their website and that the limit at that 8.99 price is 3, so I assume the ecb limit was also 3. There were a bunch of people in line after me, and I think that helped. But I bet cvs will pull this from the web soon. The manager said she was going to call and ask about this because it seemed to be a glitch. I’m in Marietta, GA.

    • angela

Just bought 3 in Cincinnati. Cashier had to force ecb’s.

    • Maehing O

I was at the CVS on 78, purchased the Swadlers to hold back as a gift, and it didn’t print either… stupid me left the paper at home.. but they are VERY nice there, and said to hang on to it adn the manger would print one for me later. I love that store.. it pays to be NICE!

I couldn’t find the sunscreen for the $7 something price.. but still a good deal!

    • Learning2CouponFL

Aside from the Pampers jumbos ringing up at $8.99, as indicated in the weekly ad, the deal isn’t in the computer at all. I bought 3, no ECBs printed and it was not listed at the bottom of my receipt.

I had printed out the whole page directly from cvs.com so the cashier (with manager approval) manually printed out $15 ECBs once I showed it to her. The only thing that seemed to throw them off was that there was no limit listed. They didn’t question the validity of the deal or give me a hard time at all but the Sunday morning cashier at my CVS is super awesome about coupons and such.

I don’t know if I’d try to buy more than 3 at a single location, since that’s the limit listed for the $8.99 sale.

    • Just an FYI if you’re having trouble printing that page out – some browsers might not print the image. (I tried printing from Firefox and it ignored everything in the middle of the page.) But switching to Internet Explorer did the trick and it printed fine.

    • Katherine

I went to different CVS with my husband’s CVS card to get another pack of diapers and it didn’t work there either. The manager requested to keep the ad because she wanted to verify with corporate, but she did force the ECB to print. My guess is it will be pulled from the website also. I did make sure to point out the website address was at the bottom of the page verifying that it came from CVS.

    • Tracy

I just got 3 packages and 3 $5 ECBs. However, there is an error in the system. The supervisor called someone at corporate (I assume) and she forced my ECBs for me. Hopefully they will get this fixed by tommorrow.

    • Stephanie

My CVS had already posted signs above the diapers. They said that you could only get the $5 on one pack and that it would print out on your end of the quarter ECBs.

    • Donna

Just bought two packs in GA. The cashier printed my $10 ECB, it did NOT print on my receipt. I took the print out with me. She was very kind!

    • Jerri

      Hi
I bought 1 package of the pampers and it didn’t print out and the manager will not give me the $5.00 ECB, she said to call corporate office. I’m in florida anyone in florida had the same problem and what was the outcome.

    • deanna

I went and bought 3 packs. ECB obviously didn’t print. So they forced one, but they would only give $5 and not $15. I tried arguing the limit three for the $8.99 price so why not 3 $5 ECB, but no go. But still I only ended up paying $4.22/pk, so not too bad.

    • Lara

I got three packs of Pampers as well, and the ECB’s did not print automatically. The young cashier would only give me $5 ECBs on it, total. I’m still trying to figure out if I’m happy with this result or not… sigh.

    • Mal

I bought 3 pampers and ECB’s dint print. So the cashier printed $15 ECB for me. While printing that I misplaced my ECB`s from Razor(4) & Always (2). I guess some customer accidently took it with their recipt. The cashier took my no. so he can call me if someone returns it but do you think I will get my ECB`s back or can I call corporate and ask them if they can issue it for me. I am happy that I got my Pampers ECB`s but sad that I lost my ECB`s.

      Thanks Jenny for your help.

    • Mal

Oh! I went to Pelham Road CVS(Greer, SC), if anyone want to try your pampers deal.

    • MelRae

I have not yet gone to my CVS, but reading the comments here and at Hot Coupon World, my advice would be to get one pack at a time (if possible…if you live near your CVS and it is convenient to go back later). It seems that the cashiers don’t want to give more than the $5 ECB….and you know what? From their point of view…I really don’t blame them. There is no event code or limit stated in the ad. Plus, I would rather have three $5 ECBs than one $15 ECB….but that’s just me.

Also, make a copy of your print screen (I threw mine on my scanner)…that way, if the manager asks to keep your copy….you can come back with another copy later in the week.

    • Jamey

The deal worked in Sumter SC…I took the ad and the cashier seemed to already know what I was talking about. She had to print it manually but gave me $15 ECB for 3 packs. I used a $5 off $25, and two manufacturer Q’s (I only had 2) and paid $20.73 OOP. With my ECB that makes it $5.73 for 3 packs!!!

Thanks for the heads up Jenny!

    • Sarah

I went and bought 2 Pampers packs today. The ECB’s did not print. I showed the cashier the printout and she pushed $10 ECB’s for me, no problem. I am going to go to a different store this evening to get another pack (this one is closer to my house). I think I may speak to the cashier about it before I do anything to make sure that they will force my ECB’s through (since so many people are having problems). That way it will save me a lot of time and aggravation if they will not.

    • Rob

CVS on URR and JFR in Marietta. The ECBS did not auto print, but the cahier was already aware and manually printed 3 $5 ECBs for me. Glad it was not 1 $15.

    • Andrea

I just did 2 in Lawrenceville, GA. The ECBs did not print automatically (I did bring my print out) , but the manager was very nice and said that Corporate did stuff like this from time to time and didn’t give the individual stores a heads up. He called Corporate, verified the deal and printed my ECBs. So the deal is legit.

    • Susan MacDon ald

Same thing happened in Boston. The manager forced the ECB to print.

    • Jennifer

Mostly the same info. here… In Aiken, bought 3 Pampers, no ECB printed. Showed the print out, very nice cashier and manager gave $15 in ECB. Only thing to ADD is that the ‘coupon’ is not from CVS, it is from a website called ‘CVStoday’. I didn’t get into the details of that, but it sounded like the official CVS website and CVStoday are NOT one and the same. The cashier said her manager told her CVS had some trouble with some of the things advertised on ‘CVStoday’. Overall a VERY pleasant experience but I wouldn’t be surprised if they chose not to accept the print out for long.

    • Susie

i went to cvs off main street in knightsville and was told that the website information was an error….you now have to buy 3 packs of pampers to get one $5 ECB. they were very nice but would not honor the $5 ECB per pack despite the fact that i took in the printed cvs online page that does not state you have to buy 3 packs to get the ECB.

    • Erin

I just got home and my store would not honor the deal…said it was a corporate mistake and they received an email this morning telling them not to honor the ECBs…and they took my printout! The manager also said they pulled the promotion from the website the morning (I didn’t check again before I left), but of course it is still up there, but now the ad won’t print for me. Oh well…too good to be true!

    • Stacy

CVS in Ballentine knew about the promo when I went, but would not said that the manager would not override and print the ECBs. The cashier told me to call the customer service number on the website.

    • beth

I went to the CVS on Lake Murray in Irmo. I was told that I could only get one $5 ECB. I asked about making separate purchases and he said that it was one per CVS Card.

    • Sara

I ended up just bringing my laptop into the store…. don’t laugh! That’s $15 just waiting there for me! After carefully reviewing the ad (even having me magnify the screen!) the mgr forced the ECB – even handled my rolling transactions. Thanks for the heads up on this deal! I ended up with $3.25(incl tax) jumbo pack diapers!

    • Katherine

I would have done the same thing Sara. I have an iphone and would have just pulled it out, gone to the main cvs webpage and showed them how I got to the screenprint.

    • Heather

      Jennifer,
If you go to cvs.com you can see the ad for the deal front & center on the main page – click on it and it will take you to the cvstoday site.

Rob, thanks for the heads up! I shop at that store often – of course, it could be by cashier, but nice to know they are honoring it. Now I just hope there are some diapers left on the shelf by the time I get there.

    • Heather

Rob, thanks for the heads up! I shop at that store often – of course, it could be YMMV by cashier, but nice to know they are honoring it. Now I just hope there are some diapers left on the shelf by the time I get there.

    • Erin

Just tried this in Gainesville, FL. As others mentioned, the price rang up as 8.99 per pack but the ECBs did not print. Manager came and, looking at my printout, manually printed 15 ECBs. I’ll use these as my “start up” ECBs starting now!

    • i went today and did this, had a 5 off of 30, and threw in a filler. the ecb’s did not print, but i had already talked to the cashier, and they got authorization from the manager to give the ecb’s. he did ask me for my number and name, since apparently, they thought it was a little sketchy. be prepared for them to have no idea of what you’re talking about… but since i rolled my ecb’s, and used the free+ deal with the diabetes monitor, they were essentially free. yay!

    • oh, and i did this at the gainesville georgia store, at the corner of mundy mill and mcever. i got 15 ecb’s, but because of their reaction, i don’t know if they’ll do anymore.

    • Amanda

I bought 3 packs of diapers in Cleveland, TN on Stuart Rd. Ecb’s didn’t print. I showed cashier and manager the printout. She called corporate. They said that she couldn’t print out the ecb’s for me and to check back in a couple of days and scan my card. They will either print then or at the end of the quarter. Bummer..anyways I still got a good deal. I bought the pampers and the fusion razor. I used 5/30, 3 1.00 q’s, 10.00ecb’s and paid 15.?? oop and got back 4.00 ecb’s. I am calling corporate because nothing printed on the receipt showing that I had bought them to get the ecb’s and it sounds like false advertisement to me. Good luck to everyone else.

    • Suzanne

We have 2 Kerr Drugs right near us that have just today turned into CVS! (All the Charleston, SC Kerr Drugs are now CVS!) I took the printout, and when the ECBs didn’t print, the manager gave me $10 CASH! I only got 2 packages (they are still in the process of rearranging and stocking the changeover, so that’s all they had!). I may try in a couple days to get another, but am happy that I got these 2!

    • Monica

I went to the store with a bad copy and the manager wouldn’t authorize for more than 1 because she couldn’t see if there was a limit. She tried to confirm with other stores, but most of the managers weren’t working on Sunday and customer service was closed. The ad is on CVS.com and they are still printing so they should honor it. I’m getting ready to see if the other store close by will do it at the limit of 3 since that is what their add says.

Thanks everyone for the heads up, this helps alot.

    • Heather

The CVS in Ballentine knew about the Promo because I was there earlier this morning doing it. The shift sup. asked me for the printout and I showed her. She gave me a 5.0o ECB but I said I had bought 2 packs and she sighed and printed another. I am sure they are gettting flooded with people and the printouts and managers are trying to cover thier hinnies!!! Sorry you were denied. I only tried 2 packs but will head back if tomorrow the problem is corrected.

    • Sharon

OK, this is from several people…my store Batesburg/Leesville not giving ECB’s must call corporate on Monday to get ECB’s

Cayce across from Bilo is doing ECB’s with manager approval per my sister in law

Hwy. 6 and I-20 gave ECB’s with manager approval (my neighbor went here)

      Hope this helps someone

    • I tried to buy the Pamper Easy Ups (which are pictured in the ad) and did not get the ECB’s I asked the cashier and she said maybe the Easy Ups were not included. The manager took too long to get there and I had to leave (squirmy 4 year old). So, I just returned them. Maybe I’ll try another CVS. This was in Nashville TN.

    • Alison V.

I went to the St. Elmo CVS, manager took my print, said it was only one ECB no matter how many I bought and that when they do these things online, it’s just understood that it’s just one ECB per household. I almost asked for my coupon and money back on the second pack I had bravely bought, but I figured I’d just call corporate tomorrow. I know my cousin had success in Lakesite CVS after they called some #. ANYONE ELSE HAVE ANY LUCK IN CHATTANOOGA?

I opened up the ad page and saved it as a document just in case I need to print it again.

BTW, after I left, I found the Bilo has the small cheerios boxes with the 1.50 Q on them! So I want to try another CVS!

    • Rebecca

I had a lot of trouble w/this deal. The ECB didn’t come up so I had to ask about them. The manager wasn’t aware of the deal, so thankfully, I had the copy of the website to present to her.I had purchased 3 packs. She said, “there’s no way there going to let you have diapers for $3.99 a pack!” We reviewed the ad again for the “details”. She finally printed me $5 ECB and told me that’s all she can do until she find out more. She took my info and is calling me tomorrow. If not, I’ll be driving by there to resolve this.

      The Woodlands, Tx

    • Monica

Went to 3 different CVS stores and not one would do this deal. They showed me how the flyer has ECB codes they can put in if they don’t print and this didn’t have one. At one store I just bought one and said they could take my paper to justify the 5.00 ECB and they wouldn’t do it. The first CVS has my name and number so I’m hoping since I asked about it she will still let it go thru.

Question ladies how did the cashiers or managers force the ECB to print without the code?

      Thanks

    • Joanne

Tried this today with one pack of diapers. ECBs did not print in Birmingham, AL. Manager said to call 800 number tomorrow and call her back. She said she couldn’t force the ECBs because there was no number code on the print out. She was very nice and I’m sure once it’s all worked out with corporate she will gladly print out my ECBs. I just hope I end up being able to do the deal 3 different times!

    • Lori

the store at emmanuel church road did the transaction without the printout. the ECB didn’t print automatically but the cashier “forced” them. i only got 2 because that’s all the coupons i had but she said the limit was 3 so i’ll be back coupon or not. paid $1.49 for one and $1.99 for the other pack!!

    • Larissa

Carrollton Georgia: same scenario as all other comments. The manager there said to honor the ECB’s until further notice.

    • Melissa

Bought 3 packs Sunday @ 12:30pm (one at a time) and they forced 3 – 5.00 ECB’s. There was a lady in front of me that did it for 6 packs!!! This was at the Dorchester/Ashley Phosphate CVS. No problems!

    • Hilary

The CVS in Lexington (by Home Depot) was nice enough to issue $5 ECB. I did buy 2 packs – but I was just thankful for any savings. They said they should know more tomorrow – but for now the limit is one deal.

    • Jennifer

Couldn’t even get the cashier to honor 1 of them :(. She said she didn’t know anything about it, and that I’d have to follow the directions on the coupon. I told her (and showed her) that it said it was only good in stores…she said maybe I was supposed to buy it in the store and collect the proofs of purchase or something. I guess I’ll call corporate tomorrow and see what they say. They shouldn’t advertise something that they aren’t going to honor, and I got to the coupon directly from CVS’s web site. I was at the CVS on Tom Hall St. in Fort Mill.

    • Dawn

Unfortunately the coupon didn’t work for me either in Charlotte, NC. The cashier was nice enough to ring up my purchase, but no luck getting the ECB and she wouldn’t honor the ad either. I understand her position. Very disappointing that corporate would note this ad on their website and stores don’t honor it.

    • Erin

I decided to try another store after my first attempt was denied, and I left with 3 packs of diapers & $15 ECB (and used 3 $1 coupons!)! Before the cashier starting ringing them I presented the ad and the printout and explained that it was on the website but not in the ad, and would she be able to correct the issue if the ECBs didn’t print, and she said she could do it manually. Sure enough, they didn’t print and she went back and gave me $15 ECB (one $15, not 3 $5). She was surprised at the amazing deal, but said she would honor it because it was on the web (this was a cashier, not a manager). I guess I was the first person today at the store to ask/attempt the deal! Thank you Southern Savers for another day of saving $$$!

    • Sarah

I went into 1 store, showed them the ad first before I did any shopping, and they told me that they would be unable to honor it b/c it did not have a code for them to maually print the ECB’s – they were extremely nice about it but they were just confused – and why wouldn’t they be in all honesty. The next store, I did the same thing, and the cashier told me it would be no problem. You should definitely ask before you buy anything – makes it sooo much easier!!

    • Heather M-H

No go here either. And this was the first time I have gone to CVS. I tried the CVS here in Canton, GA on Riverstone and signed up for the card just for this deal. The cashier just told me to call the #.
Not a very good first time experience. :o(

    • Wendi

Went this morning at 8:30 AM to the Rincon, GA CVS and got three packs. Manager happened to be working the register and I showed her the print out before we started. When they didn’t print out, she forced 3 $5 ECBs and asked to keep my printout so she could call corporate to find out what was going on with it. Very nice lady.

    • Paige

I took the print out to my CVS, and it’s a good thing I did, because she only took it because of the print out. I was also able to get 3-$5ECB back in stead of 1-$15ECB. The cashier said you can ask for the 2 sets of $5 as long as it’s one transaction. I guess I got lucky.

    • Alissabeth

Montgomery AL did the deal. I did have trouble printing the screen, it just printed the url with a blank box. So, I clicked on a cloud or something in the Pampers part and left clicked…it printed the selection. So, I took the one blank page with the url and the one with the pictures….just in case they wanted to know where I got it. The manager was super nice. She checked me out. I showed her the deal and said I got it off this website and pointed to the url. She looked over it and then she said it said jumbo…showed her the pack where it said that and then she said there was no limit and i said the limit on the Pampers sale was 3. She forced the 15 no problem….they did not print. Then she said, guess it pays to visit our website! :-)

    • Ron

The store on PowderSprings Road at the S120 loop in Marietta is refusing to print the ECB.

    • lynn

tampa bey are same as res the casher pushed it through but did need the print out for them to do that

    • Montgomery, Alabama (Forest Ave.) Took ad… no problem. Left the ad behind for the store to keep, just in case someone else needed it. Did not print $5. They printed it with no problem. LOVE THAT STORE!!!

    • Alissabeth

FYI – It doesn’t print a limit or anything on your receipt…not even for the Pampers sale limit….or didn’t for me anyway.

    • Dawn

I went to the CVS in LaGrange, Ga on Greenville st.. They were willing to look at the print out but one clerk and two managers later they would not honor the ad. I emailed the corporate to complain. It is very inconsistent for them to post one thing on the website and not in the circulars. I asked for a prompt resolution and we’ll see what they say. I think we should all call and complain whether our respective stores honored the deal or not. It is unfair for the company to put the managers, clerks and customers in the position to haggle over something so easy to remedy.

    • Heather

Batesburg-Leesville, SC would not force the ECBs becuase the manager stated she didn’t know what ‘code’ to enter. She told me to call customer service tomorrow to find out what code should be entered and come back to get the ECB’s. She was very nice but not very helpful. Does anyone have any advice on how I should tell the manager what to do next?

    • Mandy

I just got back from CVS. My best deal yet! I bought 3 jumbo pack of Pampers.
-$4 off $20 coupon from email expires 6/7
      -$5 ECB from last week
      -$1 Pampers coupon 6/7 PG
      -$1.50 Pampers coupon from mail
      -$2.00 Pampers coupon from mail
-$14.73 on a gift card (the EXACT amount of my gift card)
      Absolutely free!
Then he forced me through $15 in ECB.

      Good luck!
P.S. I did bring the printout with me.

    • srtasa

how do i do a screen shot? tia

    • russell

I bought 3 pampers, and they were free from the coupons and ECBs i had from a couple of weeks ago. But the $5 ECBs didnt print, and they would not print them. They said i had to call corporate. Darn right im going to call corporate. They shouldnt advertise it if they arent going to make sure the stores know about it. Now i have no ECBs. I cant go back in and use ECBs on banana boat now. The “free” cycle has been broken. They have to fix this.

    • Kathy Scott

I just went to CVS this morning on Church St in Greenville SC and they didn’t know anything about it and I showed the Manager the page I had printed and he said I had to call the number on the paper. He has never been very nice nor very helpful to me with my previous encounters.

    • Jenni

Just a heads up. Early in comments someone mentioned that the CVS on Dorchester and Ashley Phosphate in North Charleston easily printed the ECBs. Early in the day I bought one pack and they printed them no problems, then went back later to buy another two and the manager came out when he saw me with the pampers and he wasn’t going to honor the print out. I explained where he could find in on the website and he reluctantly gave me the ECBs but RELUCTANTLY not easily like earlier in the day.

    • MelRae

To those who have had problems: Maryccc at Hot Coupon World just got off the phone with CVS customer service. (8:15am Eastern time). The deal is real!!! There is a limit of three. No event code yet…they are aware that the ECBs are not printing and are working on it.

    • Stacy

      HELP!

I bought two pampers jumbos yesterday and no ECBs printed (of course), but I didn’t have the printout with me so I didn’t push the issue. Do you think I can go back today and get them to print my ECBs? I have the printout now…

    • anne

If your ECBs didn’t print and the store wouldn’t push them through… you can call corporate and get them. I called this morning, and they were very nice. She put actually put $6 on my card that will print out on my next CVS purchase (I do have to wait 48hours). You need your receipt and your CVS card when you call.

    • Em

I’m sorry but I think it’s a little crazy and irresponsible of CVS and their marketing department to advertise this deal online for the world to see, but have their registers and their employees unprepared and unknowledgeable of it! I mean, with a good deal on diapers they HAD to know there would be parents storming their doors! :)

The manager at my local CVS was very kind and didn’t give me any problem after looking at the print out and gave me the ECBs on the one pack I bought. I left the print out with them – I hope they were able to find out more. But I felt kind of bad for them not knowing about it ahead of time! It really puts the store employees on the spot with how to handle the demand.

    • Jennifer

I just got off the phone with corporate, and again confirmed the deal is real. If you call them with your transaction receipt, they will make sure the ECB’s print next time you go in, though it will take 48 hours for that to show up in the system. He said it make take 48 hours to have it fixed in the system so the rewards print in store also. So, my debate is whether or not to go buy two more packs today knowing I’ll get the $10 ECBs later, or wait and risk them being sold out…can’t complain though, it’s an unreal price to pay for diapers!!!

    • Sharon

      This is REAL!!! Yeah!!!!!
      RE: Heather
      June 7th, 2009 at 11:11 pm

Hi Heather, Bates/Leesville here also and the same problem. I just hung up the phone with Extra care and very nice gentleman said NO PROBLEM, took info off my reciept and within 48 hours when I go in the store it (15.00 ECB’s) will print at the bottom of the reciept. Anyone having issue’s call 800 number on the bottom of the print out and he said this is legit, 5.00 per pack max. 3 packs and they have NO intention of pulling this deal it will run as advertised. They are workin on a fix now, if you go to ANY store today it will not print and you will have to call in to get them. Hope this helps

    • Heather

Off the phone with the CS and the lady I spoke with was wonderful. The deal is legit and she posted my $5 ECBs and will be available in 48hrs. She said when I go back to purchase the final two (offer only good on 3), just have manager call the CS number and they will tell them what to do. She was asking me about our store location and if they had any if her son’s size becuase she will be going there this afternoon. Who knew I would end up helping her save money!

    • KATIE

Looks like they have removed this advertisement from their website. I think that I will wait to see if they resolve it before I try this deal.

    • Esmelda

Did they take the deal off their website? When I click on the link or even when I try to enter the link through the CVS home page it makes no mention of price or ECBs.

    • Jennifer R

Stacy, I also purchased the diapers and didn’t get the ECB but then I called the store and asked for the manager. Explained everything to her and then took the ad in and we were given the ECB’s.

      It’s definitely worth a try!

    • Shellie

My store said to call the 1-800#. I just got off the phone and the guy was super nice and says my $15 ECB will print on my next receipt after 48hrs. Noticed it’s not on the website anymore. Great deal, thank you!!!

    • melissa

Does anyone know of a printable pampers coupon online?

    • Katherine

I just checked the cvs website also and the $8.99 price ad still shows on the page but when you click to the actual ad, the ECB are no longer mentioned. If you went to the ad yesterday, the ECB were listed there! Apparently, they have pulled the ECB deal!

    • iheartcoupons

It’s no longer available on their website… it just advertises Pampers… no ECBs, no sales price!

    • Em

Wow – The ad still had the ECBs on it earlier this morning! Luckily I printed it out to have to go and get my additional 2 packs – gave the print out I had to the clerk yesterday after I purchased 1 pack…

    • Tiffany

I went yesterday in Rock Hill, SC (one on Celanese) and they honored the print out – it did not automatically print but they were very nice and accepted the printout. I also had an issue with the bananboat ECBs printing. They had to force that one too. Again – they were SUPER nice about it. The people at that CVS have always been very sweet.

    • Christie

I went yesterday in Chattanooga and they would not force the ECB’s to print. Told me to call the 800 number in the morning. I called this morning and the extra care dept said it is a valid deal. 5 ECB’s per pack and can be repeated for a total of 3 times. Said if cashier has problem ask for manager and if manager won’t do it tell them to call the cvs number. If all else fails purchase and then call extra care dept. They will issue the ECB’s.

    • jessica

Hey Jenny! THANK YOU SO MUCH! just went to CVS and got 3 packs and a fathers day card for .36 cents!!!!
      YEAH you guys are awesome!

    • Samantha

      Hey Everyone,

I work at CVS as a cashier and I can tell you that we have NO idea what these things are, BUT if you BRING THE PRINTOUT we will give you the price listed and the Extra Bucks. Also, we’re taking donations to help fight Lou Gehrig’s Disease. ALL money goes to help these people out so PLEASE donate just ONE dollar.

      Thanks a Million!!

    • jessica

thought maybe i should write my coupons.
      3 packs of easy ups
      1 fathers day card

      3 packs 8.99 each
      card 2.99

-CVS extra bucks 10.00 off if you spend 30
-(3) 2.00 pamper easy up coupons

      total: 15.36
      15 EXTRA bucks back = .36 cents

The manager on duty called the number himself and the lady at corp walk us through it and was very nice and easy to work with:)

    • Hallie

Did anyone make a pdf of the site information by chance (if, of course, that would be legal to do so)? I’m guessing I missed the deal, but we could really use the diapers…

    • Sara

I guess I should be glad I went yesterday….. strange situation, makes me wonder why they would post it on the site, not prep the stores, then pull it…. why not just reset the system to print them. Something’s rotten in Denmark…

    • LeeAnn

I got the deal twice (at different CVS stores). One cashier said he did not know about the deal but after I said I would go home and print it for him another cashier said to print out the ECB’s after the transaction. (I thik he knew about the deal but was being difficult.) It almost made me feel guilty for getting such a good deal til I remembered how much I have been paying full price for the diapers. Thanks for all the deals!

    • Susan

The ad is back up on the CVS website, but with the the EB offer. I just called customer service to ask about it and I was told that the offer was put up in error and it is not a valid offer.

    • Tracy

I called the ECB line at CVS this am. I spoke with a supervisor who told me that you can get 3 ECBs on this deal. He said just to call in with your receipt info and they would get the ECBs out – I guess via mail.

    • Erin

I went to CVS in Ballentine and the cashier was going to print it out but the manager told her to wait and called someone on the phone-not corporate- and said that his manager said that you have to buy 3 packs to get one $5ECB, so I told them nevermind. I then went to the Lake Murray blvd store and was told the same thing! OH well! I am glad for those of you who got the deal!

    • Pat

I just purchased the Pampers and called to have the ECB added. I was told that the deal was no longer being offered as of 10:00 this morning. If you purchased before 10:00 you would be okay. If after, out of luck. I am so upset. I will probably call back after work. I want to speak to a manager!

    • Darlene

This deal worked for me too in Dawsonville, GA. I got $15 back and was able to get $5 retroactive from the one package I bought yesterday.

    • Pat

Oh yeah, I was told I could return the pampers if I wanted too.

    • Monica

I called customer service this afternoon around 1:15 EST and the gentleman was polite, but said the promotion ended today. I stated the ad says 6/7-6/13 and he said CVS has the right to discontinue a sale or ECB at anytime. I had bought some yesterday and returned them when the ECB didn’t print out, but the manager called me this morning and said she would honor it for me because I came in yesterday asking about it.

    • Monica

I agree with previous comment about something being rotten. They have to know women on the internet talk and help each other out with these things. What’s getting on my nerves is customer service is doing the same thing as the stores, one person gets told one thing and someone else gets told something else, there doesn’t seem to be any consistency anywhere. I’m in the Northern Virginia area.

    • vanessa

had the worst CVS experience of my life trying this, with my 1 & 3 year olds fighting and crying. The ecb didn’t print, when i showed the mgr she said she’d go check and left to smoke a cig. When she came back she said she couldn’t find anything and wouldn’t honor it. So, I said I’d stand there and call corporate, which I did and they said it ended at 10:00, i checked out at 10:50, but he honored it anyway and posted it to my account. It took 45 minutes! No exaggeration.

But, the experience/ service was terrible!

    • Dawn

I tried a different CVS in Charlotte today. No luck again. The cashier told me there was no way that individual stores couldn’t override the system and provide ECBs. Obviously I know this can be done after reading several posts on this website. Shame on CVS!

    • Becky

They have taken the ECB’s off the Pampers page. Now it only says that they are on sale for $8.99.

Guess they are on to us! LOL!

    • I’m glad I printed the screen yesterday before they took it down :)
I went to CVS today (in Rock Hill, SC – Celanese store). It took some time and a few employees, but ultimately someone printed the $15 ECBs for me (I bought 3 packs of diapers). I also had coupons (2 for $1.50 and one for $1), so I really got a steal!

    • Trina

I’m glad my kids are too old for diapers now. I would have tried this deal like so many of you did and left irritated. Alot of these mixups left me feeling very jaded about chasing these deals. Seems like most of the time I end up leaving the store more frustrated than feeling victorious. Somethings are just not worth fighting over.

    • Dianna

If we have the printout from before they changed it will they honor it? I’m in Sumter, SC… has anyone tried it today?
      Thanks!

    • Called 800# earlier today and was told that even though I had the printout from yesterday that the deal expired this morning and would not be honored. She said it was a misprint. Basically I was told that if I had used it yesterday then they would have honored it, but not today. Really bad customer service in my opinion!!!

    • MelRae

Dang. Well, I sure do feel *really* fortunate that I got my three packs this morning, no problem. I walked in, saw my fave cashier, she gave me a hug, looked at my printout, and said “let’s do it!” She said she could print ECBs (did not call manager or CS). She gets excited for me when I get a good deal. And this was right around 9:45 am, so I still made it before 10am.

I am really sorry for everyone that is having trouble with this.

    • Dawn

Of course they are going to take it off when it makes CVS look unprofessional. I am sure they were bombarded(sp?)with calls and thought it easier to pull the ECB than to actually do right by their customers and leave it up like the ad said. THis is very poor customer service.

    • Annamarie

The Pampers deal worked for me. The cashier knew what I was talking about and they had to be printed manually but I still got the coupons, turned around and rung up some infant motrin and lotion and only paid 30cents!

    • Betsy

Called corporate at 4pm and spoke to a nice lady who said the ad has been removed and that they were no longer honoring it. If you purchased diapers yesterday, however, she said to call corporate and they would work something out.

Then I called my local store and spoke to the manager who said that as long as I had the coupon that they would honor it (up to 4 diaper packs). Since the coupon with the $5 ECB is no longer on CVS, I just printed it from this post.

      Good luck!!

    • Joanne

I called corporate this morning and the guy told me that they had taken down the deal because of a gliche in the system. He also said they were working it out and promised to run it again as soon as the problem was fixed. He told me to keep checking the website to see when the deal started back up. He sounded like he knew what he was talking about, but who really knows!

    • Leslie

Went to my CVS yesterday and got 1 pack, the mgr printed the 5 ecb. After seeing this morning that people called corp and were told the limit was 3, I went back this evening and got 2 more and my cashier printed the 10 ecb for me. Now I see that peopkle were told it ending as of 10 am this morning but I guess if you have good cashiers who will honor the printout of the ad then you can probably still get the deal.

Sorry for all those that this isn’t working for…it is a blessing for us for sure!

    • D.W.

I went to CVS today and bought 3 packs…I figured it was still a really good deal even if I didn’t get the ECB’s. I told the cashier I had seen this deal on the website and she said she would print out the ECB’s if it didn’t automatically print them(which it obviously didn’t). I told her I could just call the corporate # since I didn’t have a print out. She said it’s no big deal and took my word for it and printed them out!!!

    • Mandy

I just got off the phone with corporate. The nice lady that I talked to said it was a mistake. They would give you the ECB as long as you purchased them before Monday morning. I have to give them info from my recipt and UPC and info from a pack of diapers. She said that it will be in the system in 48 hours and then the next time I use my card they will print out at the bottom. That was for 3 packs of the diapers. I must warn you I was on hold for 30 mins first.

    • Pat

I called CVS back once I got off work. This time a completely different experience. The rep I spoke to didn’t even let me finish telling her about the earlier call I had made. She simply apologized and asked me some questions. She said my ECBs would print out within 48 hours when I make my next purchase. I may buy more pampers because this is still a good deal with no ECB. As long as you use coupons.
      I still love CVS!!!

    • Wendy

I went to CVS in Port Wentworth, GA (outside of Savannah). No problems. I told the cashier and the manager that I had a printout for the $5 ECB but that I heard other stores had problems. The manager (older gentleman) didn’t hesitate. He told the cashier if total or per pack of diapers. He looked at me kind of funny and said “It says for each $8.99 pack of diapers so that would be (3) $5 ECBs.” He totally floored me. The cashier of course couldn’t get the ECBs to print automatically. She ended up give me $15 store credit/coupon for my diapers transaction. I paid $8.53 for 1 pack of Cruisers and 2 packs of Easy Ups. Yeah!

    • nancy

Yes I had the same thing happen but the lady said that it could print out at one of those Kiosies (sp) in the store in 48 hours. They are nice. And the lady side it was valid for Three 5 ECBs. yea.

    • nancy

      Tracy
it will print in 48 hours either when you purchase something or when you scan your card at a kiose I can not spell that word. But look for a store with a red scanner box that print coupons for the day.

    • srtasa

the page is back up with the ecbs.

    • Sara

I checked and I don’t see the ECBs listed on the cvs site.

    • Lanie

Yesterday (Monday) afternoon around 3:30, the Batesburg CVS called the customer service number and told us (there were a couple of “southernsavers” there)that the deal was discontued at 10 a.m. that morning and that the web page was put up “by mistake”. Apparently you have to get the right person at the right time.

    • Lisa

Just talked with Corporate CVS. This was a misprint and has been removed from the website. If you have a printout, they may honor it but I was informed they do have the right to withdraw posted sales.

    • I bought 3 packs of diapers last night for $8.99 and used $1 off coupon on each of them. I asked them about the $5 back and they said I would have to talk to corporate. I call corporate CVS this morning told her my story and she set me up with $15 ECBs with no problem! I loved getting good quality diapers for $2.99 each!

    • Rebecca

update…Just hung up w/CVS. This is what the rep told me….If you purchased pampers on Sunday or Monday they are/will issue the ECB. You need your receipt handy when calling. I asked if the deal was still happening. I was told no it ended as 10am yesterday. I reminded them that the ad was STILL posted on their website. She just restated that the deal ended. I nicely said that’s false advertising….again the rep just stated that the deal ended and that there were alot of problems.

    • Tina

Well darn. I was waiting for this to get worked out and I missed the boat. Oh well. It’s too bad that CVS won’t just honor their advertisement. How can something like that be put up by mistake?? Is there no one who double and triple checks ads before they go up on the website?? Bad PR if you ask me.

    • StacyB in MS

I just talked with corporate as well. I bought 3 packs on Mon. but the cashier would only give me $5ECB. I decided to call corporate and ask them about it. I talked with Bill and he was very kind and helpful. He did say that they no longer have the deal but they are working toward a new one. He told me several times that my $10 ECBs would be printing by Thursday afternoon. He made me feel better about CVS since I did not have a good experience with them yesterday.

    • Jennifer

I was able to do the deal 3 times in north Georgia and it gave me 5.00 for each pack of diapers. The cvs website has now taken the 5.oo ecbs off the ad, so it must have been a mistake. I am hearing from friends that they are only limiting to one deal, so I would make copies of the original print out and go to 3 different stores if you need to. It’s an awesome deal, thank you for letting us know about it.

    • I went to CVS today in Calhoun, Georgia with the ad and had great success. They told me that corporate said the limit was 5 per household and they sold me the diapers and printed $5 ECB for each package. Thanks for the heads up on this deal!

    • Brandy

I went yesterday to the new CVS in Lexington, SC and talked to the supervisor and cashier about it before I even started shopping and they said if the ECB’s didn’t print that they would manually print them for me. They asked me was there a limit and I told them that the ad did say limit three for the 8.99 price so that is what they limited the ECB’s too. I got all three packs and a pack of Always…used three $2 coupons and a $1 coupon for the always, and a $5 off $25 coupon and some ECB’s that I had from last week and paid $4 and change OOP. I them turned around and used another $5 off $25 and those $15 in ECB’s and got the rest of the stuff I needed, which included some medical stuff that I didn’t have coupons for and only paid $11 OOP. I’d say $15 in CVS for three packs of diapers and all the additional stuff I got was pretty good. My mom is going to get the diapers for me with her card too this week.

    • russell

ive got a question about the $4 off of $20 coupons that come in email. Can you print them and use them more than once on $20 orders, or can you just use it 1 time?

    • russell

by the way, my $5 ECB for the pampers printed when i went back today for the banana boat. YAY!!! That was quick.

    • Sara

I just checked the CVS website and the $5 ECB deal when you buy diapers isn’t listed anymore.

    • I went to CVS & had a terrible experience! I went yesterday & they wouldn’t honor it even with the printout. I called corp today & went back. (Corp verified that the store would print it out) The manager had to be asked 4 times to call corp & said she wouldn’t honor it. She called corp & they said they wouldn’t honor it that the deal had been pulled from the internet on Monday. I got on my cell & called corp myself. About 30 minutes later, it was “resolved.” They printed them out for me but the manager was very rude. I know she was mad at corp for not giving consistent info but she acted as if I was lying! I will go back to redeem my ECB & may be done with CVS for a while. I have already filed an email complaint on their website. This was in Lawrenceville GA.

    • Heather

My Mom did the deal for me in Pawleys Island CVS and then the manager at CVS in Greenville at Pleasantburg and East North also said he was honoring the deal this week so I was able to do it this evening in his store…

    • Monica~

The Asst. Manager checked her corporate email and found instructions on how to run the register with this deal. I left CVS with 2 packs of Easy Ups and 1 pack of diapers and one foot powder for 20 cents. The best I have ever done!

    • Jade

Just used coupon in Albany, GA. They gave me a hard time when ECB didn’t print on their own. Called corporate and they said it was a glitch and expired yesterday. They forced the $5 ECB for me, but said they could give me no more for the week. I only needed one pack so fine with me!

    • Susan

I just had a wonderful shopping experience at the CVS at Wade Hampton and Suber in Greer, SC. I stopped in to get the Fusion razor (got the last one) and thought I would ask about the Pampers. I mentioned that there had been a promotion on the website and the clerk pulled out the printout and said, “This?”. I said, “Yes” and asked if it was valid. He told me it was and said I could get up to three deals. He even asked if I wanted a lump sum or three separate ECBs!

    • am I crazy? When I go to the link, I don’t see anything about ECBs. I went to do the deal, but I need to go back with the ad in order to get the ECBs. Is this deal still good?

    • Jessica

Thanks Heather, for your comment about the deal working in Greenville at Pleasantburg and East North. I live in Greer, but made the trip hoping that they would still honor the deal…and they did! I showed the cashier the printout and asked her if they would accept that. She was like, “Oh yeah, my manager told me about that. No problem, I’ll just have to get the ECBs to print manually.” And that’s what she did. Thanks so much for the heads up. After reading these other posts, I had about given up on even trying to get the deal. I paid $10 something OOP tonight and left with $15 ECBs!

    • Virginia

Laura Beth, the ad was only up on the website until early Monday morning. It was a slip-up by whomever put the ad up. There was not supposed to be a Pampers deal with ECBs, so the ad got taken down. Some stores will still honor the deal if you have a printout of the original screen when the deal was still up on the website.

    • Jennifer

I just had a wonderful experience at CVS on Hudson in Greer. I walked in and handed them my ad and asked were they honoring the ad. The cashier said Yes Mam. I said and the limit is 3. She again said yes mam. I went over got 3 returned to the register and she manually printed me out $15.00 in extra bucks. I LOVE CVS. Thanks SOUTHERN SAVERS and CVS!

    • Sheila

I have to tell about it…I just left CVS and this is the deal.
I bought 3 packs of pampers for $8.99 each, 1 coppertone waterbabies sunblock stick for $4.99, 9 colgate toothbushes for $1 each (located with the travel size items but are not travel toothbrushes), 3 J & J first aid kits for $.99 each. I used a $10 off $30 that I got a couple of days ago, a $4 ECB from another time, 3 $1 off coupons for pampers, 3 $1.00 off first aid coupons, 9 $.75 off colgate toothbrush coupons. I paid $16 and got $15 in ECB back. I used those to buy 3 more packs of pampers, paid $10 and got $15 more ECB’s back. I just love this.

    • linda

I tried it at a cvs in maryville TN and it did not work. When I go to the cvs website is doesn’t mention anything about the extra care bucks?????

    • kelli :-)

I just went to the new CVS in Lexington, SC. They will honor the $5 Pampers ECB deal. They also accepted the Walgreens $5 off $25 coupon that is good for today only! I purchased 4 packs of diapers, used the $5 off $25 and four $1 coupons and received 20 ECB. They forced the ECBs to print. No problems at all. Love a great diaper deal!!!

    • Ginger

Linda – got to http://www.iheartcvs.com website. She has a link to what the CVS website ad looked like on Sunday. (somehow it’s “frozen” so you can print it out). It’s worked for me 3 times this week at 2 different stores… (College Station, TX)

    • Beth

Went to CVS in Ballentine, SC today and they honored the ad. (I had printed off a copy of it.) I bought 3 packs of diapers ($10 total after coupons and other ECBs) and got $15 in ECBs back! WOOOO HOOOO!!!!

    • Lisa

A friend of mine went to CVS in Charlotte NC on South Blvd. and they said that the coupon wasn’t correct. They said that they had received and e-mail from corporate about it and they were honoring it but they wanted to know where it came from.

    • Dale

Jenny, just want to let you know that CVS did give me the 9 ECB’s that were thrown out by my hubby after our vacation. Thanks for the suggestion. PS It is a one time courtesy, and I will be more careful keeping up with the receipts.
