Thanks do much for posting these the past few weeks. I’m expecting my 3rd child and I feel like I’ve really benefitted from these posts when it comes to sticking up, using my coupons to get the best deals and trying to save money at the same time! Thanks again, Jenny!!!
      ~ Jennie

      • Hey there,
I’m so glad that this list helps. Thanks for using Southern Savers!

    • Jennie

Darn iPhone! “do” should be “so.” =)

    • Use the $1/ANY 3 Beechnut items at Bi-Lo and it makes for a great price! Not as good as the other week at Publix when stage 2 was a $0.19 MM when you bought 3. I bought 30 jars, a bag of salad, 4 steamfresh veggies, and 5 barilla pastas for $1.75 after coupons! Check out my page facebook dot com / DianasDeals (no spaces) to learn how I did it. :)

    • Imaprincess09

What’s a great price for diapers, when it comes to cost-per-diaper?? I’m preggers.. for the first time.. and wanna stock up for the next 8 months on EVERYTHING baby related or not so when baby gets here, I can send Hubster in and tell him to “get whatever produce you want at Aldi!!” LOL but I don’t wanna jump at every diaper deal I see.. just want the best ones. Not picky about brands at all, either.

      • Im a new mommy (little guys gonna be 2 months tomorrow) And I found the Huggies are horrible! The close on them doesnt hold. I love Pampers! Just thought I’d make a suggestion from one mommy to a soon to be

        • Mom_4_Him

IMHO, the only huggies worth buying are the Supremes.  We are due with baby #7 in 1 month, but have used disposable on all but 2 of them.  I LOVE Pampers Swaddlers, and Huggies Supremes come in 2nd.  With my last one, I used mainly Pampers for the larger sizes and they seemed to be better than Huggies and Luvs.

          • mamabelbel

I agree.  I really liked the fit of the Little Snugglers and Little Movers by Huggies on my chunky babies and really didn’t have trouble with the tabs at all like someone else mentioned.  I only would use the snug and dry kind if the deal was to crazy to pass up.

      • Sarahbeth1210

I use both Huggies and Pampers.  I have with both of my girls.  As far as price…I try to spend around 5.00 or less for a jumbo pack and around 12.00 or less for a box of diapers.

      • Ali-gator82

Just some more info …. but I have two little ones and I feel Pampers fits longer leaner babies and huggies fits shorter chunkier babies.  As far as that goes, I used mostly pampers with my daughter but since couponing it seems huggies has higher value coupons.  I agree with the five dollar or less or jumbo packs.

        • Jenndennmk

When you use both brands, it’s almost like having half sizes in there. When my babies outgrew 1’s in Pampers they fit into the 2’s in Huggies, then went to the 2’s in Pampers. Both are good brands, but I totally agree that different kids may need different diaper brands.

      • leeci

Be careful not to overstock.  If your child outgrows a size of diapers before you have used all of that size you’re essentially wasting money.  Better to buy a fair amount (maybe 200) of size ones and twos then stop.  As for cost-per-diaper, anything under 20 cents per diaper is decent, but the closer you can get to a dime per diaper is the way to go!  My firstborn son, all the brands didn’t fit right in one direction or the other, so I just went with the ones on sale.

      • JenniferK

when you buy diapers tape the receipt to the package, that way if you size up before you use them you can exchange them for the new size or something else.  i would also buy a variety, big brands and store brands and figure out what works best for you.  I would say 13 cent and under is a good price to buy, you’ll need coupons and to watch the sales.

      • Hey there,
I would say that anything around 12¢ per diaper is a great price. You may have to look hard or just wait until there is a deal that good and then stock up!

        • mom of 2

          Hi jenny,
Can you please check the next button on the top right of the page where it says Latest Articles?  I can’t get it to go to the next page.
          thank you so much!
          Maria

        • Imaprincess09

Thank you so VERY VERY much Jenny. You rock!!! :) and thank you for aaaallllllll you do for us.. on top of being a mommy yourself!!!

    • Kim N.

I’m realy confused about what you’ve posted for the Kroger deal on Huggies wipes. I went back to this week’s Kroger post and this is just copy/pasted from there. So… if it’s $9.19 a box after the $.30 discount from being part of the Mega Event, and there are 320-400 wipes in a box, and we assume you’re using the $.50 coupon which doubles… how would it be $6.19? And even if it were, that’s still just over 1.5 cents per wipe!

      • Kenren801

You will receive a $2.00 Catalina.  She included that in the final price.  Although you will still pay $8.19 out of pocket, it calculates to $6.19 if you take the catalina into account….hope it helps.

    • Erin W.

I need Gerber formula… Will it ever go on sale?

      • Bartleya48

I have a $6 off coupon for Gerber that I won’t use. Email me if you want it. Bartleya48@yahoo.com

    • Krissy

Does anyone know how to get on the Target Baby Home Mailer? I can’t find it online and their corporate customer service is absolutely useless. My baby is 9 months old, and he was registered with their Baby Registry. Thanks!

    • peanutsmommy

A little surprised that no one is listing the publix pampers deal as awesome.. If you buy 3 jumbo pack and another participating item off the rebate list… you can get them way cheap. (I got 3 packs, 2 of the little cans of cinnamon rolls and a pouch of cookie mix.. under $20 total AND get the $5 gc back)

Thats a deal! Especially when the pampers price recently went up, they are less in the pack/box now and they cost more!

      • Jenndennmk

I was surprised by that, too!!! I just sent in for my rebate.

    • AmyInAtl

Which store has the Beechnut baby food on sale?

      • guest

I think that’s part of the Fuelperks (20 cents off WYB $15+) at Bi Lo.

    • leeci

Amazon Mom subscriptions are closed, but with the $2 off coupon on the Huggies sz 1 you can get the box of 168 for $29, which is 17 cents/diaper. Not as low as the 13 cents but still a decent deal!  Especially with how quickly you use the size one’s!

    • tshel

I’m getting ready to be a first time mom and was wondering what is a good price to pay for diapers, wipes, etc and is there a particular brand the best. Just in your opinion…thanks

      • peanutsmommy

I love huggies wipes, and pampers diapers. I like to pay .02 or less per wipe, (used to get the 72ct huggies packs for $1), but the diaper price is very hard to pinpoint. I think regular price for pampers is .25-.41 and up per diaper, but good sale price is around .15 per. Some say 5$ for a jumbo pack is a stock-up price, and honestly thats a rare price these days. When the coupons out are good (like right now.. 1.50 off 1 pack), is a better time to buy when the coupons on are bad (like $1 off 1 box). Always keep your eye out and stock up when the prices are good!

      • Courtney Crane

I try not to pay more than 15 cents a diaper, but I’m lucky, my daughter can wear Luvs with no prob. I try not to pay more than a penny per wipe. I stock UP on wipes. They wn’t got bad and you’ll need them for a long time. If you can’t get a name brand wipe cheap I really like the target brand wipes in the purple bag. You can use the $1 off a $3 or more up and up purchase which makes them a great buy! Good luck!

    • joetta

I bought 1 big pack of Huggies little movers slip on diapers (66 diapers), 1 pack of the huggies wipes, and 1 cepacol lozenges, used $1.50 CVS coupon (printed from thier website) and $3 mq for Huggies little movers slip on diapers (facebook), $.50 mq for huggies wipes, and $1 mq for cepacol product, paid $24 plus tax, got $10 CVS gift card which makes it $14 for all.  Makes it about $.15 a diaper

      • Tiffany

How did you get the $3 mq for Huggies Little Movers Slipon Diapers from Facebook? I’ve liked there page and don’t see any cpns anywhere. Also, do you remember how much the diapers are before cpns? Also, any advice on scoring a great price on Huggies overnights? I need some ASAP! Thx for this awesome post. Want to go to CVS tomorrow during lunch and have a $4 rewards from last time! Thx again.

        • joetta

the diapers were 19.99 before coupons….I got the $3 mq a few weeks ago, so it may not be available anymore…try the website.  Sorry if I am too late getting back to you.

    • guest

    • Daisy6441
