Has BI-LO gotten any better with accepting printable coupons? The store in Simpsonville (Fairview Rd.) has always given me problems. Last time they treated me like a criminal and accused me of copying coupons, even though I explained the coupons and showed them that the numbers were different. I used to love shopping at BI-LO!!!

I have found that BiLo to be not so coupon friendly as well. Try the another BiLo like in Mauldin or on Woodruff Road. They seem to be very good about coupons (even printables). They do sometimes say they want the printables to be in color but when I showed them the different numbers they understood and have not asked again even with black and white printings.

Since they updated their registers I’ve noticed a lot of coupons don’t scan anymore. If you have a problem with this, simply show them the numbers under the embedded code that print on each printable are all different. This proves they are not copies.

I always have trouble at bilo with coupons. I make sure to go when i have plenty of time for check out. Something one of the managers did tell the cashier last time is to scan the coupons with scanner gun. He said sometimes the register “scans both bar codes and gets confused.” Still I do most of my shopping at publix and only venture to bilo for really good deals or if publix is having a slow sale.

I clicked on the link by eckrich farms, and went thru all the pages, but did not find it. Could it be somewhere else?

      • Susie

I had to change the zip code to 03103 and then it came up for me.

Susie, YOU ROCK!!!! It worked. Thank you so much!!!

Thanks for posting. Meat has gone into the ridiculous pricing zone this fall. Wanted to post a couple of things that I found over the weekend as regular prices. At Sam’s boneless skinless chicken breast was still $1.88 lb, hasn’t gone up and at Costco 88% lean ground beef is 3.45 lb everyday. Still good prices even during the regular grocery store meat pricing explosion. I use the free open house weekends at Sams now (they have about once every few months), and took advantage of the living social voucher for Costco so for now going without paying the expensive membership fees too.
