Thanks!! Looks like a fun week!

    • Raynesmw

Yay!! Lovin Bi Lo right now, great deals!! And, they are so nice at my Bi Lo! They get my business hands down, not picky like Harris Teeter!

      • Sally8bb

I wish ours was nice… There are some weeks that their prices are great, but they are so rude at mine that I am only going to go during great weeks… Publix on the otherhand are super duper nice! I just wish they weren't a 20 minute drive…

        • Angela

Bi-Lo has had some people to take advantage of them with coupon scams. that's why they're cracking down.

      • cduck

i know what you mean… harris teeter is really cracking down…… it took longer for the cashier to check my coupons last week than it did for me to do my shopping. they read each one and if it was a b1g1 then would only let me use one even though they rang up 1/2 price. it was crazy….then they read all of them to see if it says do not double…… in morganton, nc they will not just scan them, if it says do not double then they enter it so it will not double. i used to love HT but I think BiLo will be getting my business from now on.

        • Guest

Using only 1 coupon on a pair of B1G1 items is HT's official policy which is available both online and in-store for everyone to read. You would do well to actually know the policies of the stores where you shop.

    • Jamie

Will bi-lo double the coupons from the kraft food and family book? All the coupons say do not double.

      • Paige

As long as the coupon starts with a 5, it will double. My Bi-lo does not care if it says Do Not Double. They just scan them.

        • Shop Now

That's the way it's supposed to work… Today I had 2 Wise 50c coupons and they didn't double !!! When I pointed it out to the cashier, she entered it manually. I'm not sure why that happened, It's already a pain to check that all the coupons get scanned & now I have to recheck for doubling (and goodness, last week a frozen dinner I bought (with a coupon yet) didn't make it into my grocery bags. I feel like a fleeced sheep somedays.

          • Rebecca D

i know the feeling – i did a B1G1 kids vitamins deal at Rite Aid a couple of weeks ago. I opened one of the boxes yesterday & found that all the gummy vitamins were melted together. I don't have my receipt anymore, so there is nothing I can do. All I can do is be grateful I used a coupon so I didn't pay full price for the one bottle I have left! Once you're in the coupon groove, it's hard to say “oh, well…no big deal”

            • Ucmba97

Contact the manufacturer. They usually will want to know numbers off the bottle and the address of the store wher eyou purchased, so have it all ready. But in the end, they want you happy, so they usually send out a free coupons or two.

    • Christy

Can you successfully use coupons on Meal deals?

      • ClemsonMommie

Yes! I've done it several times.

        • Morgan

At the Clemson store? If so, I need to go shopping with you ;) I've never had it work there.

      • Paige

        I cannot.

      • Ccrenshaw76

Yes, do it all the time. there is not reason you shouldn't be able too.

      • Shop Now

Yep… nice deal if ya have the coupons ;)

      • meme

Anderson, SC Bi-Lo does not let you use coupons on the free items with the deal meal. If someone has found one that does, please post. Would love to get the extra off. After all, they do get reimbursed from the manufacturer (unless I am not aware of some special deal they make with the dealer). Thanks for any imput on this.

        • Hj2008

Boiling springs sc bilo does coupons w the freebees

        • Guest

They do get reimbursed for correctly used manufacturer's coupons, however they do NOT get reimbursed for the doubled value if your coupon doubles. If you use a $0.50 coupon that doubles to $1.00, they only get $0.50 back. Manufacturer's only reimburse the face value of the coupon. The doubled part is a Bi-Lo marketting strategy, not a manufacturer's offer. So if you use doubling coupons on free items, you're hurting Bi-Lo by getting them to give you an extra discount on an item that they are already giving you for free anyway.

      • Leah

Does anyone know if the Lexington, SC store accepts coupons on the Meal Deal?

        • Susan

They have accepted them in the past from me. The manager/supervisor on duty has to override them as the cashier will get an error but they’ve always overridden them for me without my even asking. The ones they override do not double, however.

    • Julie

where do i find a kraft food and family booklet?

      • Paige

I am checking again and going to ask this time if they have any of the coupon books. I haven't seen them since Jenny posted that they were there.

      • Swappinspoons

They were at my Bi-Lo on a little kiosk—as you left—not witht hte weekly ad. I'm in Simpsonville Sc

      • meekoheather

There were some yesterday morning at the Lexington SC store close to the service desk near an endcap. Not sure if they are there in all stores.

Heluva Good Cheese is $2.25 – you can use the .50 off coupon = $1.25.

      HotPockets $2.00. I have a printable .50 coupon = $1.00

      ChexMex $1.89. I have a printable .50/2 = $2.78 for 2 (an ok deal)

Kraft Homestyle Mac and Cheese $2.50 (printable .50 off)= $1.50

      • lovingmomof2

Where did you get the .50 coupon for hot pockets?

    • Emma Plate

first do not let them scan your Bi-Lo card intill the end. let the clerk scan all the
      coupon then your card.

      • Cathyhilton28

The last time I went to Bilo, the cashier refused to ring up anything until I gave her my bonus card. It was a mess, and then she read every coupon before she scanned them. They made feel like I was cheating them, and I didin't even get the meal deal that day. This is in Kannapolis, N.C.

        • Susanlebeau24

Talk to AJ (store Mgr.) or Beth. Actually all employee's are great to work with there. There IS one manager that makes everyone feel uncomfortable, customer's and employee's at the store complain about him. Just ignore him or go to other management and complain. I did and they actually take up for the customer. If you use coupons that don't match the store loses money so they have been checking. I have been more careful, I love BiLo and want them to stay in business.

          • Cathy

I like Bio too. I always give my bonus card first, and too I'm careful with my coupons, only getting what the coupon says. Just the last coupole of times the cashiers were not friendly. One held my printable coupon for the mueller's pasta and annouced that it looked fake in front of everyone. So, last week another cashier refused to scan my groceries until I gave her my card. I got the q off of the mueller's website. There was a cart and another lady in front of me so I couldn't give her my card right off.

            • it's not policy to give your card 1st so I would argue with them… They are just being ridiculous. You don't have to be nice to them if they are being jerks. REMEMBER you are the customer we are Job security for those employees

            • NewToTheQ

Well, if you give your card last at CVS usually it doesnt take the discounts off, then the cashier has to void the whole transaction and start a new one scanning the card first. BiLo could have the same problem and the cashier knows that she will have a mess if she doesn't scan the card first. All of those stores are in fact suppose to ask if you have your bonus card, cvs card, or any card for that matter before they ring up your items, its how the employees are trained. We all need to be happy with the deals we get and all of the money we save and quit trying to pull one over on the system because doing that will make couponing harder to do. If too many stores start to lose money because of dishonest people, how long do you think it will take before those stores quit allowing coupons.

            • luiza

There may not be a policy for it (yet), but if the customers keep finding ways around what is right, then in the long run we may all suffer, those of us who just want to coupon legally and sleep with our conscience clean. If by denying the card first thing makes items free which are not supposed to be free, well… it is a matter of conscience. No store has the perfect policies of staff, but Bi-lo is a good store in general, with fuel perks and other deals. Let's try do our part to keep it that way.

            • Laurie

same thing happened to me! She accused me of fraud! It was a painful experience.

          • Katiekittie18

You are suppose to give your card first. If you give it last you are trying to get over on them. They don't allow you to get more than free off an item. You can get plenty of good deals, so I wouldn't worry about trying to trick them into even better deals. If too many people try to get over on them, everyone will suffer.

        • jmcqueen

Hi Cathy, just wanted to tell you I live in Kannapolis,NC too….sorry that happened to you, I have had that happen to me there to she took forever to check me out because the cashier took her time to look at every coupon I was giving her and make sure I had the right item.UUUGGGHHH!!!! I'm about to make another trip today hope every goes well.

      • Gmaof376

Does this make a difference and how?

        • Guest

It makes a difference b/c it deceives the register into thinking you're actually going to pay for the item you're using the coupon on. People do this in order to cheat their way into using a coupon that they really aren't entitled to use. If you use your card first, then the 'free' item in the meal deal rings up free, and then when you use your coupons the register would reject any coupon used on the free item b/c it would know that there is no actual amount to apply the coupon to. If you scan your card last, the register doesn't realize that the item is going to be free anyway so your coupon goes through. I'm really surprised that Bi-Lo hasn't cracked down on this kind of thing, b/c when you use a coupon that doubles on an item that's already free, the store itself is losing money since they are not reimbursed for the doubled portion of your discount. I'm sorry, but there are plenty of ways to get great deals and free stuff without having to stoop to fooling the register.

          • Susan

The manager at my Bi-Lo, at least to date, has always overridden when the register rejects my coupon on an item that is free part of the meal deal. The coupon doesn't double, even if it normally would, but I'm fine with it not doubling. I've never asked them to do this, they've just always done it in the past. This is at Bi-Lo in Lexington, SC

    • Tiff715

I am soo excited about this week! My husband eats A LOT of salsa, and uses A LOT of hot sause, so I had to go to ebay and buy more coupons, this is an item I can stock up on, and still never have enough of. And the FREE tortillas, thats just adds to the excitement! THANKS JENNY!

do youhave to register for the sweepstates on facebook to get it?? (I can't from work because facebook is blocked).

    • Laura C

On the meal deals my Bilo will not allow you to use a coupon on the items you are geting for free, do you have a way around this?

      • Freedomspradley1

scan your bonuscard last (even after coupons). Most cashiers will question this but it works.

      • Amy

Use the coupons before scanning your Bilo card. That may work.

      • Katrina

Why would you need to use a coupon on what you are getting for free

        • jess

Nothing is free! It lowers the price of the meal.

      • Kelly

Lately the cashiers haven't been asking me if I have a bonus card, and I have to tell them. So it wouldn't be suspicious if I told them at the end. Sometimes I do that anyway because I want to see what the total is before my bonus card. Katrina, you would use a coupon because it would take the amount of the coupon off of the total of what you pay for groceries.

      • Katiekittie18

You are not suppose to scan the card after, you are suppose to do it before. Bi lo will not let you use the coupons on the free stuff, b/c they will not let you get it for less than free. Like if I have a 55 cent coupon that doubles, and the item is $1, they will only take off 45 cents.

    • JulieG

CAn't get the coupons at the Arm & Hammer Site to print. Just get the frame of the coupon. ANY help?

    • Isaacdp7799

I am new to using coupons when does a coupon double

      • Barbara

It depends on the store you using them in. Bi-Lo doubles any coupon up to .60 unless it says “do not double” and the barcode begins with a “9”. (Some that say “do not double” will still double if it begins with a “5”) Other stores like Publix will usually double coupons up to .50. Now and then you'll see a sale at a store like Harris Teeter doing “super doubles” which will double all coupons up to $1.98. hth!

        • Daimiensmama

Bi-lo doubles coupons up to 99 cents everyday

          • Salandrews

            Where is this Bilo located?

          • Clairebpratt

My Bilo only doubles to 60 cents.

        • Ceden78

Our Bi-Lo in Statesboro also doubles up to 60 cents.

    • Joe

Can someone tell me how it would make sense that I don't have multiple coupons that should have been in 01/30 paper? I bought 4 papers and made sure they each had the 4 inserts they should have. I've made my list for Publix and Bi-Lo and noticed that on 6 of the deals I don't have the coupons I should have, and each of them should have been in the 01/30 paper. From both RP and SS. I only don't have the ones from 01/30 and i'm sure I cut all of them out.

      • Guest

Coupons tend to be regional – manufacturer's often offer different coupons in different areas – sometimes some places get a different amount (like one place might get $1.00 of an item where somewhere else gets $0.75 off any item) and sometimes certain areas just don't get certain coupons at all. If you've checked all 4 coupon inserts and don't see certain coupons there, then unfortunately you fell victim to the regionality of coupons.

      • luiza

Which paper do you have? Some (like the Charleston Post and Courier) have a lot less coupons. I came to the point I actually cheer when the coupon mentioned in the deals is there. Have heard a lot lately about people ordering coupon inserts online rather than getting them via the local Sunday paper. I am about to try that for myself, just need to make sure the seller doesn't get them from Post and Courier, lol. Good luck.

        • xseannax

The Post and Courier is really getting ridiculous with the absent coupons! There have been several weeks when I had to call my sister in the DC area and ask her to buy me papers up there and mail me the inserts. Even more frustrating when good coupons are missing and we have ads for man-girdles.

          • Laurie

I get the Sun News and will occasionally buy the Post and Courier to compare. I agree- that paper is lacking!! I was in West Virginia for a few weeks ago last month, and I compared their coupons to ours when I got back. Now that was truly maddening. If there is not a hot sale going on that I need my coupons on Sunday- think I am going to order whole inserts from now on. I'll get them by Wednesday. At least you live in Charleston where there is some grocery diversity. All the groceries are sooo coupon unfriendly in Pawleys.

      • CASHGamlen

I had the same thing happen this week. I keep my coupons seperated by insert and date so I can look on here and then look in my envelope and there were A LOT that I did not have. I ended up getting discouraged and looking through my coupons and sale papers on my own.

        • Charlene

I had the same type of problem. I bought a newspaper at Dollar General and it ONLY had 2 inserts (needed 3) and NO advertisements (not even the comics)!! I was so upset I went back and they had no clue what was going on. I then went to a paper machine and got the newspaper with the all inserts and ads! When I was home I noticed that the DG inserts where for a different region than the machine paper! Also, the 'machine' paper had the Uniliever coupons, when the other one did not!!!

    • Swimboy86

does the -.55/1 Orville Redenbacher’s gourmet popping corn, 3 pk. +, in store dispenser double? It says real big on it that it does not double

      • Paige

It won't double not because it says Do Not Double, but because it starts with a 9. I checked it too.

        • Swimboy86

This coupon starts with a 5

      • blessedinsc

Tonight, mine half doubled so it was .55 off and .26 too. Strange… And my Butterball turkey frank q didn't double at all.

    • darkenmind1326

umm..anyone notice there isn't really any personal care products under that heading? I think there was Suave and Gillette stuff on sale…

      • CASHGamlen

Yes, there are several things in my paper this week that are not listed that are great deals. For example, Men's Speedstick is $2 and I have a $1 off coupon from this past Sunday making it only a buck. Gillette body wash is 3.99 and there was a $2 off coupon for it. Kid's toothbrushes are 1.99 and I have a .40 coupon which will double to .80 and make them 1.19. Bounty Paper towels are $1 and I have a .25 coupon which will make them .50. etc. etc.

        • Paulakay72

I agree. I'm really finding lots of match ups as well!! Thanks for the Bounty update. I'm getting the Speed stick deal too! :)

      • Hartinsgems

Here head and shouldhers on sale 3.99 and you have a coupon !! Can get it for 2.99 ! Also lady speed stick you can get for $1.00

    • Bilo would not double my Butterball turkey coupons, they said, do not double, The machine beep for them to be put in Manually and they they said it was becuz of the DND was on the coupon, uggg

I have to remind my cashier about those coupons on meat and produce. I keep track of how many I have and make sure they are all on the receipt before I leave the store. else have to bring the tear off part back for a refund. My store is Hartsville, SC

    • Amber

my Bilo had Tresemme and Garnier Fructis hair products on closeout for 1.99 and 1.84. There are $1 off each printable coupons on Smartsource I think. I had printed them a couple weeks ago.

    • Smurfygrl1979

Anyone in Upstate SC get the Tidy Cat litter coupon? It's the oddest thing…I have the Purina coupons, the 'cover' has the Tidy Cat as being included, but there is no Tidy Cat coupon included. I have 3 copies, from different sources. Anybody had this happen?

      • SC Susie

Spartanburg did not have them either :o(

      • Nope me neither

      • Crstnashppd

I hate it when a company just has an ad with a picture in the coupon pamphlet without putting a coupon! So pointless.

    • Mhaubrey

Can you do the fuelperks promotion more than once per week? It says limit of 1 per order on the ad…but does that mean per week? Just looking for clarification- don't want to have to put stuff back at the checkout!

      • Ucmba97

it means once per check out. You can do a fuel perks deal again in the same day, but it has to be a separate order meaning check-out.

        • Mhaubrey

thanks! got a great deal this week on the pillsbury rolls and yoplait yogurt!

    • savysaver

I received the 2/6 SmartSource coupon booklet in our local paper yesterday. There is a coupon in it for $1.00 off Starbucks Frappuccino. They are on sale at BiLo for $4.99 until Tuesday. This makes them $3.99.

    • Lucentk

What happened to the print button?

does bilo in greenville, sc accept competitor q's …anyone knows about it?

      • esturm1

No, not as a rule :-(

      • Paulakay72

Mine will accept Publix competitors. Just found an awesome deal on Kleenex/Publix q's. Hoping Bilo hasn't changed their rules and will give me the deal! :) I shop at the Pubs on Wade Hampton in Taylors and usually the older Bilo right up the road accepts them with no problem. It seems as though the Bilo on Pelham near I-85 accepts Pubs competitors as well.

      • Crstnashppd

The Bi-lo on Fairview Rd in Simpsonville does, and is extremely coupon friendly even to coupons that beep! :)

    • Couponcrazy85

Is the Casa Fiesta Diced Green Chiles coupon a valid coupon? Just thought it looked a little different and didn't want to use it if it's a fake.

      • I thought the same thing, but it scanned fine. I only used one though, because I just wasn't sure.

BI-LO would not Do. The .55 Coupon for Oscar Mayer Wieners., at $3.29 ($1.64)
Manufacturer Coupon -.55/1 Oscar Mayer hot dogs or cold cuts, Kraft Food & Family booklet Any one else run in to this ?

      • Bkebp

It won't double not because it says Do Not Double

      • momto2boys

My bi-lo always doubles “do not double coupons” this only means that the manufacturer will not double…it shouldn't have anything to do with the store doubling because that is done as a store courtesy.

      • mine worked.. Go through the self check out… BUT my butterball ones would not double yesterday

      • mommy23

Awhile back I asked my store manager in Walterboro, SC, if they doubled even though the coupons specify Do Not Double. He said they will Double a “do not double” cause its Bilo's customer courtesy. He compared to to CVS, they offer ECB and we offer doubling up to .60. Hope that helps!

        • I wish we could get that in writing, lol … cause that's not always the way it happenes

        • Miss_afb

i have not shopped at bi-lo yet but walterboro is just down the road from me :) are the staff there nice? do they give you any trouble with coupons? i had trouble using some of my coupons at reids so i think i may try bi-lo.

The only time I have a coupon not double is if it starts with a 9. If it starts with a 5, even if it says “do not double” there has never been a problem.

      • Wdra0632

I used the Kraft cheese coupon today and it doubled.

    • Aliciamabel7

How have you all done with this huge sale? I am so excited to go to my Bilo tonight. Any ideas? How bout that cream cheese with the .55/1 ?

    • Laidbackladyoftwo

Went to Bi-lo today and they hd a wish bone salad dressing for 1.39 n close out and with the 1.00 off coupon MC it only came out to .39.

    • Stevenlisa05

I love my Bilo in Pickens, SC! Last wk I got some stuff from the bakery with 2 store qs attached, and they got skipped over when I paid my stuff. So this wk I asked one of my favorite cashiers if they would take them off this wks. She said they probably could and the 2 managers were standing there and they said yeah it was ok. So I got my 1.50 off. And a lil while later she came up to me and said “here, I brought you these.” and handed me 2 Kraft booklets :) She said “you can have 2, but we usually hide em, because ppl will take a whole stack if they put em out front.” And all my .55 qs doubled including the oscar meyer one. I know some were having trouble with it. I spent 27.03 and saved over 46.00!! This is why I love bilo. All the managers and cashiers are sooo nice. They have won my business over Ingles :)

      • Missey

Sorry I looked at it wrong. It was 49.24 in savings not 46.00

        • Nurzingismylife

I also shop at the Pickens location and I have to agree great customer service!!!!

    • Nurseparris

I Have a question…. if you are purchasing a b1g1 and have coupons for that item, how many coupons do you use? example, the Fruit2O waters b1g1 and i have 2 coupons for .55, do i use both of them or just 1? thanks

      • Paige

Use both! At my store if it is B1G1 each item rings up half price so you can use 2 coupons. I believe all Bi-lo's work that way with each item at half-price.

        • Nurseparris

          thanks!

    • Allison

Awesome trip to bi lo!!!!! I spent 19.65 but saved 62.28!!! They are awesome I LOVE that they double coupons 60 cents or less!!:)

    • xseannax

At the Bi-Lo in Hanahan, SC the Chi-Chi's salsa q's are no longer doubling the full amount. Went yesterday and it doubled fully, but this morning when I realized I had more coupons, the .50 went thru, but only .17 of the double amount. Manager could not explain why this had happened, and wouldn't override.

      • Hartinsgems

Today when I went to my Bi-Lo here in Greenville, SC the manager told me that they no longer doubled coupons that allowed the item to be free. I do not understand that. Has anyone else been told this?

        • Jacketfan24

From what Iunderstandabout BiLo, they will double only up to the value of the item, so if it's .75 and you have a .50 Q that will double, it will only go up to .75, so the item is free but there is no overage.

          • Use your Coupons first then ur Card. Then you will get it all…:)

          • tori729

Yes, this is correct. They don't allow overage.

        • wrong and if I were u I would write a complaintemail to them from the Bilo site. I have done this several times and they have always contacted me back

        • I went to Bi-Lo in upstate SC the other day and had to 50¢ Green Giant coupons for the $1 frozen veggies and they did not double. I went to CS and asked them to check the coupons to see if they said “Do Not Double”, because I did not remember seeing it. It took a while, as the CS rep consulted others after checking the coupons. When he came back, he told me that no one understood why they didn't double, and gave me the $1.

      • Couponwayne

they didn't double my butterball turkey dill either for .55 cents even though it started with a 5. They weren't very helpful there. On a side note the hantz dog treats were actually 4(the b1g1 sign wasn't up but it rant up half price) with the $2 coupon it was free.

    • Carla

OMG :) Just now getting into this couponing…love it…..Bi-Lo paid me .36 to take four bottles of Tobasco off their shelf. I got 4 jars of Mt. Olive pickles for 1.99 which means I got 3 free. Also, bought three bags of Texas Toast croutons at.29 per bag…woohoo for me. Thats just some of my great deals. Before Bi-Lo card and coupons my grocery bill would have been $74.45, I walked out paying $26.78 and got lots of bag fulls. I have to say I am hooked. Thank you SouthernSavers for teaching me…loving it! :) Carla, South Carolina

      • Freemn4

WTG!!! Isn't couponing and SS fun?

        • Cdtutor

          yes hahaha i am hooked

    • shannon

Does anyone know the zip code for the philadelphia cream cheese coupon?

    • Ashleylashun

I have a question about the booklet with the coupons in it found at bilo. Do those coupons have to be used only at bilo or can I use them at walmart too since they say manufacturers?

      • Nichola2

is it the “New Year, New You” one? If so, yes, you can use it wherever because they are M coupons… I used one tonight at Kroger with no problem!

      • if the coupon says Manufacture on top then u can use anywhere

    • Aliciamabel7

I LOVE THIS SITE!!! AND I LOVE BILO!!! Last night I paid $47 oop for $156 retail!!! I am so happy.

    • lucy

Can anyone tell me why I get a message that I've printed a coupon the number of times allowed, but I have not printed the coupon at ALL? I've had this happen several times for various products.

      • It will only allow a certain number of prints. Might be 1,000 or 10,000. After it has reached the max it won't let ANYONE print it, even if you've never printed it before.

    • Just got $160.98 worth of groceries and only paid $84.74!! Plus earned $0.25 in fuel perks! Thank you, Southern Savers!!!

    • Katie in Spartanburg

There is a Red Baron Pizza Coupon, $1 off one in the SS 1/23 to go with this week's meal deal! I didn't notice it listed above so wanted to share.

      • sc couponer

That coupon in my insert was for RB pan items, so don't think it will work.

      • Pipicriket_79

Yes I was so excited, because my mother in law gives me her coupons as well! So I got to use two $1 off coupons, and I had a coupon for the totinos pizza rolls! great deal!

    • Deloraruth

My BiLo in Augusta has Lindsey Olives in the reseal can on sale for 2 for $4.00…Here’s a coupon for $1.00 off on each one…

      • Morgan

Once you get the cans home, open the lids. There will be a 55¢/1 coupon inside, which means you can go back and get more for 90¢ each!

      • Qponmom

Thank you for this tip. Printed my q's and headed to Bi-Lo!

TAKE CAUTION – the coupons(dot)com site is experiencing some kind of problem – for the past several days, it will let you browse the site and choose some coupons, but at some point you get a window that claims to be some 'AVG' antivirus saying that your computer is infected – DO NOT ALLOW THIS PROGRAM TO DO ANYTHING TO YOUR COMPUTER – If you get that 'AVG' window, IMMEDIATELY shut down the windows – don't click any buttons other than the 'x' to exit, or else click 'control-alt-delete' and use your Task Manager program to shut down those windows! This has been going on for SEVERAL DAYS and is still a problem today – THEY STILL HAVEN'T FIXED IT!!!

      • Deloraruth

Got the same thing the other day…that has happened to us before, only my husband followed the site all the way into a huge mess. I knew exactly what was happening and forced the site closed immediately. I think its best to do a CTRL ALT DEL and then force it closed…if you click anywhere on the box it won't close but takes you further into the mess…

    • Babybumwraps

      Quick Question!!

When I get to checkout, can someone remind me of the order I need to do my Bi-Lo Card & coupons…Does it matter??

      • coupons first then Bi-Lo card. No some cashiers will give u an attitude about this but there is NO rule about the order it must go in… So give them one back if they do.. When a cashier gives me an attitude I tell them I am job security for them , lol… Sometimes I feel like they think they are the bullys or something well not anymore….

        • Deloraruth

Eager to learn something new…what is the benefit of doing things in this order?

        • T_s_rogers

Feeling slightly lost, but why does it matter if you give coupons or the Bilo card first?

        • Riley

Wow… I have re-read your post three times and I still cannot get over how rude you are. It's no wonder couponers get a bad name. There is no need to act like that, the cashiers are just doing their jobs.

          • ok first of all, I do not get an attitude with them unless there are extremely rude with me… It takes alot. They are not loosing anything they get the money back.+ $.8 WHY my comment was flagged below I have no idea… We are Job security for them There are A LOT of times when us couponers walk in a store and just becuz we have a binder they get all nasty with us. I am VERY organized with my coupons and have been cheated out many of times, by them not scanning q. by them refusing to double even when it doesn't say DND. A lot of us have been through hell just trying to save money. One store manager went through my receipts( cuz I weirdly save them) and noticed in one months time I was cheated out of over $10 in coupons etc.. RESON #! I scan coupons first is becuz if the item ends up being free and u scan card first the computer will beep not let it go through and it take a huge amount of time to get it straightened out… It's not about getting the overage all the time. It's about the hassel of trying to get through the line with out everyone behind u getting mad JUST BECUZ YOUR A COUPONER…

      • Katie B.

I have to disagree with the other responses. I have personally had a case where a coupon did not double because I did not give them my bilo card first. I asked why it did not double, she had to call a manager over to get it to double, and she said it was because I had not scanned my card first. (for me it was because my purse was way over there and I was still getting groceries out of my cart.) When she scanned my card, and the coupon afterward, it doubled no problem.
And, I have to say that I believe it is unethical to try to cheat the store out of money by intentionally holding your card back until the end. Their policy states that “the doubled coupon total must not exceed the value of the item”. We still get such amazing deals by following the rules!

    • Pipicriket_79

OK, I had a hard time at Bi-Lo the other night! The girl chose to take some of my coupons and not others!! I was so upset, but I was in a huge hurry, so I didn't get much time to argue. She even called the manager over and he agreed with her! So I got two boxes of Ritz, and I had two $1/2 coupons. She would only take one. Am I mistaken, aren't you allowed to use two!? And she did this on six other items.. HOWEVER, I got four cans of campells chunky soup, and had 4 different coupons one was $1/2 , $1.50/4, $1/3, and $1/2 (or something like that), and she took all of those!! I was scared to point it out, cause I thought she might take them off! Anyway someone please help, I need to know the rules! My total before couons was $182.99, and after was $86.63…. but i had at least onother $8 in coupons she wouldn't take! And I had no more than one coupon per item…???

      • Guest

If the coupon states $1 off 2, then you can use 1 coupon for 2 boxes of Ritz.

      • tima

If it says $1.50 off of 4 then you have to buy 4 items to use that coupon and then another 3 to use the $1 off of 3…so for the soups to use your 4 coupons you would have needed 11 cans of soup.

      • Lilducki1808

when an item is bogo it will scan half off allowing you to use only one coupon since the coupon said so much off two. Sorry but the cashier was right. as for the soup… it must have been your lucky day! :)

      • Jamgirl

you'd have to buy 4 boxes of Ritz to use two $1/2 coupons.

      • Pipicriket_79

Thanks for your help everyone! Its a bit difficult remembering all the rules when I have a million other worries buzzing through my head! I suppose I need to type up the rules and take them with me! I think this site is great! All of you couponing ladies amaze me! Thanks for all the help. Couldn't do it without Southern Savers and all of you ladies!! So I'm pressing on in search of the next best deal!
        Thanks again

        Laura

    • hmom1

Does anyone know how much mentos gum and/or mentos candy is and the 6pck airheads. Wondering if I should go ahead and cut those from todays insert. Thank u!

    • Example: if a box of pasta is normally $1.89 and this week it happens to be half off(B1G1) which makes it $.94 with your Bi-Lo card.. Say u have a coupon for $.55, when it Doubles it will actually give you $1.10 off that item. which = overage. If you use the Coupon 1st it will actually give you the $1.10 off the Normal Price. If you use your card 1st. the comp. will beep, a manager will come over and only give you the item for free, (u won't get the overage towards the rest of your items). So basically u want to take off all you coupons let them double then use you Card and it will take off the rest.. Hope this helps…

    • Deloraruth

Well worth asking the question! Thanks so much for the tip!

    • Kimberly

I am new to this…does bi-lo accept target coupons?

      • Meganclaycohen

as long as its a manufactor coupon you shouldnt have any problem, most of the manufactor coupons start with a 9 or 5, hope that helps

    • Martha

      yup, that's how it works.
you wouldn't think this would be a difficult concept to master.

    • Pipicriket_79

Wow, I'm sorry my comment irritated you so much. I'm very new to this, and I guess I was getting confused with the B1G1 deals, and being able to use two coupons. I don't get much time to sit down and read the whole site. I have been diagnosed with Cancer and Lupis, and my family is broke as a result, we didn't have insurance while I was being diagnosed. So needless to say I'm trying to save every penny we possibly can! Helpful, reassuring comments are great.. rude, snide ones, not so much!

      Thanks
      Laura

      • Cathy

Using coupons is money-saving but can be confusing even to cashiers, especially when you get a new one. I got turned down (from a differenct store) on a coupon for a free product mailed to me from the manufactor. It's embarrassing but it didn't kill me, just keep going.

      • I think it's that time of the month for some on here… lololol!!! Just keep trying you will get it sooner or later, But some of us are here to help!! just ask.. :)

    • Mrs.Hallman685

total at Bi-lo yesterday….$110.90 and I paid……drum roll please…….$16.90!!!!!!!!! This was my best shopping trip yet!!!!! :)

      • Pipicriket_79

Oh my word! That is amazing!!! I agree with Vanking, I'd love to have your shopping list! So awesome!

    • Vanking

WOW!!! I would like to have your grocery list……..

    • Rwilson

If the Target web coupon starts with a 9 does that mean it's a manufacturer coupon?

    • Tammytester

Is there anyway to e-mail the shopping list instead of printing them? I would like to send to my cell phone.

      • Amy B.

Just do File > Save Page As and save it to your desktop. Then email it. I do it all the time!

    • The4graves

My total Bi-lo bill was $302.64 but with BOGO and coupons I spent $150.96. I cut my bill in half. This was my first time and I absolutely had a great time and loved it. Lena from Chapin

      • Mjsizzle

Don't you just love the good sales and coupon match-ups? I went on Sat and my bill was $174.13 before and $69.82 after. Plus I got both of the fuel perks, ended up with .45 cents off just for Sat married with the .90 cents I already had, going to go fillup this afternoon with some cheap gas :)

    • Brencoup

Does anyone know where to find truvia on sale have the 1 dollar coupons ?

    • face value

well giving the coupons first means you think they should pay you to buy it. In all reality… free should be enough. and giving the cashiers “attitude”… well I hope you don't work with the public. I believe that what goes around, comes around. Those cashiers are only doing their jobs. They have ppl like you in their face creating stink over a coupon! If its that bad for you that you have to cause trouble for another person on a job… You know you can go to your church and they will give you a voucher to get some groceries. I hope you have a great and wonderful day… and I hope you don't come thru my daughters line!

    • face value

if you are so dis-satisfied with the way Bi-Lo… why do you shop there? Seems you are always on the negative side? Did you maybe work there at one time and had problems with your customers?

    • Sandy

I really cannot get over all of the posts on here about the meal deal and using coupons for the free items (in other words they are saying scan/give your Bilo card last so the coupons will count towards your total)…….I have always loved shopping at Bilo but seriously, if people keep trying to swindle the store they are going to buckle down just like alot of other stores have and make us all miserable. Also, I have found a CVS store that hoarders have not found yet and I will not tell where it is because I like getting a few small deals here and there, lol.

      • Ccrenshaw76

BILO will get paid for the coupons on the meal deal just like any other time. So, along with it being a free item for you, that they would't get any money for, well, they get paid.

      • Guest

With this economy…Sandy… people will find it :D Trust me!

    • sharon60

Sorry if this is a duplicate, but I found a coupon book at Bi-Lo customer service called Pit Stop Savings – has $10 in M coupons in it. I

      $1/2 Nature valley granola bars
$1/3 Old El Paso Products excl refrig, frozen or soups
      $1/1 40oz Bisquick
      $1/8 Yoplait Yogurt cups
      $1/1 Pillsbury refrigerated Simply….Product
$1/2 Cheerios (lots of varieties incl)
$1/1 Pillsbury Sweet Moments Refrig Desserts

      $1/2 GM cereals

      • luiza

Where is your Bi-lo store located? These would be great to have, thanks!

        • sharon60

          ________________________________

        • Aliciamabel7

NO WAY!! I love my Chatsworth Bilo!

    • What part of THEY give the biggest attitude first did u not see me say, Actually I am hugely friendly with them and it's rare that I get an attitude but it does happen we are in there trying to save money and all we get is slack for, Wow people are all over this site saying the same thing I say and you jump on me, wow, nice job people… Even Jenny says to try to catch the young people becuz they are the friendliest…. If the computer worked correctly I would have a problem with it at all but like my above statement it just causes a HUGE hassle and then we are the bad people cuz our coupons didn't work..

    • will u go away already…

    • Ok so apparently I am the worst person in the world becuz I want to use my Bi-lo Card last.. Whatever!!! Oh and becuz some of the cashiers are sooooo nasty with “couponers” and I have had enough with it… Sorry for trying to say time and money. You can jump on me all you want but I know who I am and nice person that I am as well. If it makes you feel better to attack someone and purposely try to hurt there feelings then go ahead I can take it… Have a wonderful day.. I'll Stick to Publix becuz they are the most wonderful store in the world by far. Customer service is the best at ever Publix I have ever shopped… Go ahead attack away!!!

      • luiza

All this does not make you the worst person in the world, but you do seem to be immature and short tempered, as per your angry words above. I'm beginning to feel sorry for the Publix cashier who will be serving you.

    • Kristy

I went yesterday to BI-LO–last day of the week for the sales. I was hoping to pick up the Hartz dog treats, but they were not on sale…?? Is this normal for a store to take down a sale item?

    • Sandy

I stopped by Bilo yesterday evening to see if they would finally have any of the ChiChis soft tortilla shells that they were out of last week for the BOGO sale (I had a raincheck and thank goodness they did have some), they had a note up at the register that they would not take any photocopies of coupons (undoubtedly they have received some!), the cashier asked me if my coupons were photocopied and I told her no, they were not. I am so hoping that they do not stop taking printed coupons now because of that!! :(
