This week looks pretty good at Bi-Lo, no huge B1G1 sale but still some good savings. There are also lots of promotional deals this week. Thanks to Melanie for help compiling these deals.

If you see anything we missed let me know and I’ll add it to the list.

Remember:
1. Most Bi-Lo store double coupons that are .60¢ or less
2. You can “stack” a store coupon with a manufacturer’s coupon
3. You do not have to buy 2 of the B1G1 items to get the sale price
4. If you do buy two B1G1 items use 2 coupons if you have them

I have a coupon for clorox, will that work for clorox2?

      • Jenny

If it is off any Clorox product it should work fine.

    • Stefanie

FYI…the powerade that is b1g1f IS the ion4 (at least at my store it is). So, those Q’s will work…already have 8 – 8 pks! :) The ones here are 8 pk of 20 ozs. W/ Q makes them $2.45 each!

    • Stefanie

Also, Tom’s Fries (like Hot fries) are on sale for $1.69 each. On each bag is a .55 Q that WILL double. Makes them $.59 each. It should also work on the Tom’s Onion Rings that are $1.29 a bag (b/c it says off any salty snack)…the onion rings will be $.19 a bag after Q.

BUT…the Q’s are only on the fries (located at my store as end caps on the RC cola display!)

    • Mary

monthly deal going on Mentos gum B1g1 at 1.35. Use 55cent coupons from this last week will make them free plus overage.

    • OK on the MEAL DEal what if I have a coupon for the Stouffers (CATALINA), the whipped cream is in the booklet they give at the store, the Coles is on the COles website…makes the Meal deal 9.99-1.00-1.00-1.00 about $6 most places!!! Give coupons before you give the BILO card..

    • Kristen

Will the printable vitaminwater10 work at Bi-Lo since it reads, available only at Ralphs?

    • So long as it is a manufacturer.

    • Heather

Is it OK to use the B1G1 coupon for the Ziploc bags AND the $1/2 Ziploc bags coupon? Or, is that “double-dipping?” Just want to make sure I am not doing something I shouldn’t. Also, would most of you say the Meal Deal is a good deal or not? Thanks for the input!

      • Jenny

        Heather,

You could use the .40/1 coupon with the B1G1 but not the $1/2 unless you were buying 3 items. sorry.

    • Amy

The Wise Snacks coupon link above actually reads .50 off 1 Honey BBQ or other Cheez Doodles .. doubled q makes them .50 each!

    • Karyn

Should I assume that the Duracell batteries are not part of the $5 off $20 in P&G products promotion? Just wondering. It they are, that would be a great deal!!

      Thanks!

    • dont’ forget about KFC coupon for free meal!!!!

    • Elizabeth

      Jenny:

I went to Bi-Lo today and their computers are automatically NOT doubling coupons that say “do not double or triple”. I’m wondering if that’s something in their system that reads the coupon this way, now or is it the cashier?

I tried to get the GM Cinnamon Toast Crunch using my .55c Q and it didn’t double. The cashier explained that it was b/c the Q specifies no doubling.

On the flip side, I was able to use my $5 RR from WAGS as one of my coupons, so that helped but I’m discouraged about this double Q thing if they are not going to double due to this being on the Q.

      Any ideas?

    • Elizabeth,
They usually don’t double if it states that on the coupon!! I dealt with the same issue!!!

    • Nicole

Hiya! I read your legal coupon post a while back and am trying to make sure I am doing the right thing with printables. For instance, the vitamin10 Q, I printed it, then closed out the window and clicked on the link again. I did this instead of hitting the back button, so I would get my 2nd allowed and not a “reprint”. The numbers on it are the same as the first one I printed. I thought they were supposed to be different?

    • Kathryn

Don’t forget about the meat deal, But $50 in fresh chicken, pork, or beef and get a crock pot for FREE. Alot of their chicken, pork and beef is B1G1 this week.

    • MarySC

Just tried to print the SH BBQ sauce coupon– the link brings up an expired 20 cent off coupon!!

    • There is a B1G1 Vitamin Water Q in the Save Money Save The Planet Booklet at Publix. Combine one of these Q’s with one of the Printable Ralph’s Q’s to get 2 for FREE.

    • Tracie in SC

I checked the link for Frosted Flakes and cant find the coupon. Is anyone else having that problem?

    • Vicki D

Here’s a promo that I didn’t see listed anywhere — I found out about it when I got a cat with details Monday. Buy six Old El Paso products (on sale this week) and get a coupon (cat) for $3 off meat or chicken on your next purchase. I bought one fajita kit, one soft taco kit and four refried beans and got the coupon. I think you can also get a $1 coupon with two (or three) items. I walked out tonight with the $3 OEP, $5 P&G and a milk token — felt like Walgreens!

    • renee

hey i also am wondering about the vita water Q… will it double? can i use more than 1- if printed the right way because mine comes up each time with the same number??? …ex buy 5 & get 5 free? someone else asked that earlier but no answer yet.. plz help me i dont want to get in trouble when i check out :)

    • The Vitamin Water Printable is a MFR Q that the UPC starts with the number 5…it should double to $1.00 off. Also, the link provided is in PDF Format which means that all the coupons printed will have the same serial number. It’s the ones from Bricks, Smartsource, or Coupons.com that will only let you print them out 2 times because they are tracked to your I.P. Address, and those are the coupons that change serial numbers with each print. I hope this helps.

    • Teresa

Did the $50 meat deal tonight and got the crock pot. Its a 5 quart Rival. Nice gift. And I needed the steaks for cookouts. Y”all dont forget about the 10 percent discount on Wednesdays for seniors. Saved $5 there, so I actually had to get $55 of meat. Great deal. Total bill $112 / paid $52 and no coupons for the meat.

    • Mina

On the Vitamin10 water Q’s – those are pdf files. A pdf will be the same every time you print it because you’re printing the same picture each time whether you close and reopen or not.

MarySC- I can’t guarantee what your experience will be, but I can tell you that it does double and that the guy behind me in line (thank goodness he was BEHIND me) last night had, I kid you not, about 50 IP Q’s of them and nothing else. The cashier didn’t bat an eye. He even asked her if he could get more. Then left his stuff there while the cashier rang up the coupons and got another big batch and pulled out another stack of Q’s. I was gone before he finished. I will say that was the first time that I’ve seen something going on and really hoped that they wouldn’t double more than 10 of the same item.

What you’re doing sounds fine. You probably won’t have any problems. If enough people act like the guy who was behind me, though, it may wind up causing stores to refuse everyone’s water IP coupons. The greed of a few seems to wind up causing problems for all.

    • Mina

Teresa – Thanks! I didn’t know Bi-Lo did Senior Wednesdays! I just found out today when I stopped in Publix that they do. All this time I’ve been doing my Krogering on Wednesdays just to take advantage of theirs.

    • Jennifer

Hi! I am new at this… I just started really couponing last week and I am so addicted! At Bilo when u buy the B1G1 do you always need to give coupons first and then the bonus card? Last week I went and bought a B1G1 and gave the cashier my bonus card first and then my coupons and one of the coupons beeped but the cashier let me have it anyways… should i give coupons first from now on?

      • Jenny

        Jennifer,

You should always be able to use 2 coupons at Bi-Lo if you buy two items no matter when the card is scanned but at most stores in general it is a good idea to give the card last.
        Happy Shopping!

    • momof2

I agree with the greed comment…Seems that some people have gotten a bit carried away!! I hope that BiLo doesn’t put a halt on doubling b/c if this greed…
      People….leave stuff for others please:)

    • Stefanie

I’ve never had a problem using coupons after my card, that I know of. Sometimes the coupons beep and it baffles everyone. Some will just beep for the heck of it, it seems.

    • Leroy
    • Leroy
    • Ashley

      Karyn,

I think the Duracell batteries are included. If you look at the promotion on BiLos website, the brand Duracell is listed. I haven’t tried it myself, but looks promising!

    • Karyn

Thank you Ashley! Has anyone tried the Duracell deal with the P&G promotion yet?

    • Jennifer

I went to Bi-Lo yesterday and did the buy $20 P&G products get $5 back thing. Can I do that again? I saved SO much money with that by using coupons and buy one get one free coupons.

      • Jenny

        Jennifer,

You should be able to do the P&G deal again it is only limit one per transaction not one per card.

    • Jennifer

      Woo hoo! Thanks Jenny!

I saved $29.47 yesterday, spent $19.99 and that isn’t including the $5.00 Catalina. Most of the savings was on the P&G stuff but I also did the bleach deal (and got free wipes for my local school too which I am sure that they can use) and bought 5 vitamin waters.

    • Elaine

Travise, where is the Cole’s .30 Q? When I click on ur name, I get a page that says “blogger not found”

    • Elaine

Never mind, I found your post. Thanks!

    • Marlena

I have a question. I went to the Bi-Lo on Augusta Highway in West Columbia and they said that they would not accept the Vitamin Water coupons because they say “Only available at Ralphs”. The manager said they were not getting reimbursed for these.

So…. I went another Bi-Lo and they took them without a problem.

Does anyone know anything about this. I’m confused.

    • Kelly

      Marlena,

It also says Manufacturer’s Coupon on the top. My store in Brevard, NC took them no problem.

    • Adrianne

Marlena – try the Bi-Lo off of Blossom Street bridge in the downtown area of Columbia or the store in Lexington. Both stores have taken mine.

    • Marlena

Thanks! I figured it was just that one store.

    • Elise

Jenny, Thank you. It’s been nice to save money, but to also get out of the rut of buying the same things. Coupons and freebies really do make a difference because I am now using products I wouldn’t have thought to try before. Also, my Bi-lo gives .05 for every bag that I bring in to use. It can be a recycled plastic bag or the reusable cloth bags. Doesn’t matter, but it’s more savings and better for the environment. Thanks again.

    • Debbie

Jenny or anyone who has done the P&G deal,
I have a coupon for BOGOF on the Mr. Clean spray cleaner, is this included in the Buy $20 get $5 back?

      • Jenny

        Debbie,

Any P&G product is included in the promotion I just listed the few that were mentioned on sale. So feel free to grab whatever you need.

    • Lisa Neicen

I must admit I am such a PUBLIX addict now that I have overlooked Bi-Lo!
However, I did get 10 Vitamin Waters and 2 BC Suddenly Salad and paid .84 OOP!!

My coupons would not scan for the Vitamin Waters so the cashier manually entered a .50 grocery coupon key and it automatically doubled, no muss no fuss!

It is even more exciting to see they apparently take RR’s too??? Did I read that right?

    • Lisa Neicen

I did see a few things I think were overlooked.

They both pertain to the meal deal.

There was a Stouffers Q last week from them being on sale at Publix. Not sure if it is still available. You had to register to print.

Also there is a .75/1 Souther Home Whipped Topping Q on the BiLo website.
You again have to register with your bonus card, on the home page click on coupons or go to my BiLo mini cookbook and there is a link that says get May coupons.

Might also want to see if any of these store brand match up with any Publix store brands. Great addition to having Food Lion as well.

If you can get all 3 coupons you are paying 7.24 for this complete meal- AWESOME!

    • Alice

I just went to Bilo in Irmo and I’m not sure if every Bilo has pampers on sale, but, the mega sizes 3,4,and 6 are at closeout price for 8.49. That’s 132 diapers for 25.50 or less if you have coupons. I spent 22.00, Plus, I got the 5 dollars off for the next purchase. I’m new at this, but, I think this is a great buy if you have to use brand name diapers.

    • Billie

I’m new to this, so forgive me for my dumb questions…just a couple of things I haven’t yet figured out. The Michelina’s deal: $.88, the coupon for $1 off 5…your summary says that makes it $.38 a piece…wouldn’t it be $.68 a piece, or what am I doing wrong? Also, on many of the deal examples, you suggest buying multiples of a particular item and using a coupon on each. How do you get the multiple coupons…is it just a matter of buying extra newspapers?

    • BILO has cutter and off products at closeout prices averaging $2.24 be sure anc check them out. Not sure when I printed the CUTTER Q, but I used it today.

    • Billie-
Welcome..Now remember some places will DOUBLE up to .99c, I am local to ROck Hill, SC so they double some don’t though….Also yes multiple papers or get with people who do not use their Qu’s. I have several friends parents who just put them in the recycle bin to be recycled in the trash. They put them in and I run by the house to get them out of the paper recycle bin. So many ways to get them or go by the local paper and pick up a few it will be worth the investment. I usually spend about $20 bucks a week for a family of four and two of them are growing boys (7&9). http://www.Leavethejonesalone.com

    • Lisa-

Also if you don’t register online BILO has the monthly book with all the coupons at the door.

    • JEB

CAn you freeze hot dogs? Oscar Mayer are BOGO, plus all the coupons for them…I got some last week, but wonder about taste and storage tips…My picky 3 year old will eat these….

    • Crystal

      JEB,
Yes, hot dogs freeze and defrost well!

    • JEB

Girl yeah…FREEZE them dogs. Food Lion has the turkey (we eat) OM on sale for $1.50 had $1.00 off…racked up…we will be COOOOOKING outside a lot this summer!!! Any cookouts..I can bring the DOGS.

    • Shawn

there is a French’s Worcestershire Sauce coupon in SS 5/11. Bi-Lo has it B1G1 Free. Buy only one bottle and you get it for FREE!!!

    • The coupon for Southern Home whipped topping is for the 16 oz size, and the free one with the meal deal is only 8 oz., so that coupon won’t work.

    • Angie Scott

FYI!! I went in to the Cleveland Bi-Lo tonight to get the vitamin waters with the printable coupon and they told me they will NO LONGER accept that coupon for the water ! Has anyone else had this issue??

    • Alison V.

I noticed that Bilo computers automatically don’t dbl cpns that say not to, as well. However, Publix computers dbl all up to .50, no matter what! I made out like a bandit with my .50 yogurt cpns yesterday and didn’t know that would happen!

With the exception of the meal deal at Bilo, scanning Bilo card first isn’t an issue. However, if you have Bilo coupons that you are stacking, ALWAYS SCAN THE MANUF CPNS FIRST!!! Otherwise, you will be in line for 30 minutes while they try to figure out why it says you’ve used too many coupons even though you’ve only tried to scan 2!

    • Alison V.

Bilo computers automatically dbl or don’t dbl according to the coupon instructions. However, Publix computers dbl all up to .50! Surprised me yesterday when it dbld .50 yogurt cpns that said not to. I made out like a bandit!

Scanning Bilo card b4 cpns isn’t a problem, except for the meal promotion. THE PROBLEM IS SCANNING BILO CPNS B4 MANUF CPNS. Take note and don’t do it! Then you will spend 30 min in line while they try to figure out why the computer says you have reached your cpn limit even though you have only tried to scan 2!

**Anyone else having trouble finding the Tropicana coupon?!**

    • My Bi-Lo’s in Summerville and Goose Creek, SC doubles them even if they say “do not double”. Maybe it depends on your store.

Sorry about the double post. It didn’t go thru the first time, so I had to retype it. Now it shows up! Must be operator error!

Good point regarding the store, I wonder if it’s just the one here in St. Elmo, Chattanooga, or if it’s all the Chattanooga stores. I’m going to a different one today, so maybe I can find out!

I found out the problem with the Bilo coupons. Some of them actually say “manufacturers coupon” at the top. So that’s why the computer won’t let me use them with the other manuf cpns!
