Bi-Lo Weekly Ad 7/21-7/27

This post may contain affiliate links. Read our disclosure here.

These deals start Wednesday 7/21 at Bi-Lo. This is the first week for a new list of price lock deals. I’ve added what deals were a good price from the ad but will walk the store tomorrow to grab any other deals. Remember price locks are only deals to grab if you have the coupon and the item is at least 40% off (most of the items are no where near that much off). If you see any other deals or coupons leave a comment below.shoppinglist1

Coupon Policy:

1. Most Bi-Lo store double coupons that are 60¢ or less.
2. You can “stack” a store coupon with a manufacturer’s coupon.
3. You do not have to buy 2 of the B1G1 items to get the sale price.
4. If you do buy two B1G1 items, use 2 coupons if you have them.
5. Some stores take competitor coupons, please check with your store before shopping to see if a coupon will be accepted.

      • Kristie

This coupon is for the 16oz size. The one on sale is for the 8 oz size.

        • the 16 oz is 2.00 if your .50 coupon doubles thats 16oz for $1. Still a great deal!

    • Melynn

Hey Jenny, I think you got the coupon policy mixed up with Harris Teeter's. You got me excited to go shopping at Bi-lo if they doubled to .99! You got me until I got to needing a VIC card!

      • Rebecca

Depending on where you live, Bi-Lo does double to 99 cents. Mine (Charlotte area) all do.

        • Alyson

Really 99cents! Wow … mine in Charleston area are 60 cents.

          • dharvn

to 60cents in the columbia sc area.

            • lrose57

only doubles up to .60 here in the Seneca Bi Lo… want to take a trip to the .99 store ! no limits on coupons here… saved $25 in coupons on a $40 order yesterday… love groceries for $15 !

            • Brqueen

Doubles up to .99 in York and Rock Hill, SC.

            • Heather

I'm amazed that they double to 60cents in Greenville/Simpsonville/Seneca! We only get 50 cents in Anderson!!!!

            • Tiya

The Bi-Lo in Anderson on Mall Rd. and Greenville St. double up to 60 cent.

            • Heather

I was actually mistaken. I mentioned this to my mom, and she said “they DO double up to 60 cent”. I could've SWORN that the signs said 50 cent [I usually go to Hwy. 24 Super BiLo], but I looked and the sales paper says 60 cent as well. So, just kidding… they do double to 60. :]

P.S. Nice to see another Anderson couponer — you must be one of the very few here. :]

            • Ashley

Very few? I don't know if I'd quite say that. I'm living in Anderson part time at the moment, so when I shop there I see the coupon items wiped out all the time.

            • Anonymous

Another Andersonian here. I live behind the Bi-lo on Hwy 24 so I am in there all the time.

            • Suemh

But they only double to 60¢ in Chester?

        • Rebecca

Wow 99 cents, only 60 cents here in the Greenville/Simpsonville area.

        • christa

Only up to $.55 here in Candler NC. Weird that they aren't consistent.

      • Jenn

I'm in South Carolina, and mine doubles to 99 cents. We're moving up north soon … sure hope I can find as great of deals there!

        • Cduval0617

I hate to hear you are moving out of our area. Good luck with the move. Now a selfish question: Will Southern Savers still have the same relevant info for those of us here in SC, Midlands area? In other words, will you still be abreast of the deals we have here?

          • Guest

I think you got confused. You responded to a post that wan't from Jenny the Blogger, but another Jenn. I think she was just saying that some BiLos do double up to 99 cents.

    • Dizzy4coupons

bi los should have the blkinking coupon machine for the following items:
      goodnight $1 off
      Airwick $2 off
Muellers pasta $2 off of 5
      Pedigree dog treats $1 off
Scott bath tissue .75 on 2
Scott paper towels .75 off 4
totinos pizza rolls .55 off 2

    • Jamie

Jenny, you said that most of these price locks aren't nearly 40% off. Where do you suggest doing the majority of grocery shopping this week: Bi-Lo, Food Lion, or Aldi's? (We don't have Kroger or Publix.) We are in big need of groceries, and soon – we're even out of milk.

      • Given the three I would still choose Bi-Lo

        • KIM

Do you think that Bi-Lo is cheaper than Publix, Piggly Wiggly, Wal-Mart too?

          • Amy B.

Depends on the week. Piggly Wiggly is the most expensive in my opinion. With sales and coupons Publix beats PW & Walmart hands down. The sales at Publix are consistently good and with Bi-Lo some weeks are great and others not so great. Each person really has to choose where to shop based on what they need for the week and the coupons they have. Jenny can only do so much for us ;)

            • kim

See I think that too, but I have to drive on the other side of town to get to my Publix and Bi-Lo is right here. So aftr figuring in gas … I'm not so sure what would be best?

            • Suemh

I drive an extra 30 miles one way to shop Publix. I go almost every week and it is worth it to me.

            • Kidd1969

Walmart will price match if you take competitors sale papers in. They don't double coupons or match BOGO but sometimes gas saved is a bonus in itself.

          • dharvn

the pig is too expensive! i went there this past saturday to get the $0.88 pack of mushrooms….i haven’t been there in 4-5 years.

    • Hatcherx4

I was wondering about the change in coupon policy, too, Are these changes new? (limit of 20, doubling up to 99 cents?)

      • looking at the coupon policy, looks like this might be harris teeters policy by mistake. says VIC card so thats why I am thinking that. Hope this helps!

      • Tradn4fun

Different market areas have different “will double up to ___ amounts” in Charlotte NC they will double up to .99 In other areas it is less.

        • Kidd1969

Harris Teeter has Super Doubles occasionally and doubles up to $1.99 with a limit of 20 per day. Also they do triple coupons about every 6 weeks or so with the same limit.

    • Truckat770

for everyone that has a facebook account there is a $2.00 coupon for Tombstone Pizza, just have to like and leave a comment. It was still up as of yesterday :)

      • Thanks!

        • Melissa

Thanks for the info. We do not have publix close by. I got smart balance for 0.99 cents. Very exciting.

    • Smart Balance Milk Price locked at 3.49 plus $2 off coupon in newspaper insert (date ?) made each 1/2 gallon 1.49. Buy two and it's slightly cheaper (.02) than the cheapest milk and it lasts much longer!

      • DenaSC

Smart Balance is FREE at Publix this week

        • I wish there was a publix near me. I went to one in Alabama and got lots of free stuff. I am in Gastonia N.C. :(

          • Lanavdixon

We have Publix in Spartanburg SC so if you are down this way you could do the deals here.

      • Monica

They are cheaper at Publix this week- I think they end up being .50 or so with the coupon!

    • Cottontail07

My Bi-Lo doubles up to .99 and does not have a coupon limit. You can only get 10 of the same item at one time though. Im in the Charlotte NC area.

      • Kidd1969

        Same with Lincolnton, Nc store.

    • Rpepper8588

In the list above, when the coupon are listed. Are you saying to use all of those coupons on the one item or is that just the coupons that are available and you should buy that many of that item?

      • Can only use 1 coupon per item. Those are all the possible coupons that can be used. However you may purchase as many of the item as you want if you're able to get multiple coupons from multiple inserts/computers.

      • Sjhn0532

It's one coupon per item. She puts a list of what available.

    • Monica

Is there a new $55 Nabisco Savings book? I thought all the coupons from last years book expired 6/30.

    • Maryccc1959

There's a .75 off 2 ragu coupon coming out if it's the right size and your store doubles .75 coupons then that would make the ragu a quarter each.

    • Kim

Does anyone have a best price list for grocery stores in the summerville area?

    • Melanie

I'm not sure if this was posted in another week's deals, but if you are a Vocalpoint member and got the Puffs Plus coupons, they pair with the sale this week to make them .33 a box!

    • Kristen B

I got a Bounty q in the mail yesterday – $1/1 Bounty towel. This makes the Bounty $1 single roll free!

    • jfh75

Does any know the zipcode for Bird's Eye Voila meals?

    • CONNIE

WHAT ZIP DO YOU USE TO GET THE 2.00 MILK COUPON?

      • The one of coupons(dot)com is out and the other ones appeared in the 7/11 RP.

    • Kristen

Does anyone know what zip the Bird's Eye Viola coupon is under?

    • GA Girl

A cashier at the BiLo on Mission Ridge Rd in Rossville, GA stated they are not suppose to accept coupons on rainchecks. I know that I have done this in the past without any problem. I could not find any mention of it in the published store policy. I am wondering if it is just this particular store. Has anyone else had this happen lately?

      • Karen

I used coupons on a rain check for the BOGO charcoal a couple of weeks ago and they accepted them just fine at my BiLo in Etowah, TN.

      • Jenjaxon

The cashiers at the BiLo in Rossville on Mission Ridge Rd are often very wrong about coupons. I have called corporate regarding them in the past. There is NO policy regarding them taking coupons on Raincheck items. That the cashier would even suggest such a thing is ridiculous. You should have had them call for the manager. Then if it wasn't resolved, taken names and called corporate. The really need to improve at the Mission Ridge BiLo.

        • GA Girl

Thanks for the info. I have been very disappointed with this store for quite some time, mainly because the cashiers aren't “coupon friendly” and rarely scan all coupons. One of the cashiers told met she didn't like dealing with the coupons and I wonder if that is why so many coupons get skipped during the scanning process. I have recently started going to Publix because I dread going to BiLo and getting frustrated. Publix could teach a class on great customer service!

          • Jenni

Have you been doing the receipt surveys online? You definitely need to get the name of the cashier/manager and then tell corporate via the survey what happened. I've had good results doing this. My store has REALLY improved in the past year.

            • Lanavdixon

My son works at Bi-Lo and they do read and take those surveys seriously.

            • GA Girl

That's a good idea. I will give it a try. I would love to see serious improvement and feel cheerful after my shopping transaction.

          • momtandy

I got a great response emailed directly from the store manager a couple days after taking a survey. I was pleasantly surprised.

      • Bholmes75

Bi LO is getting weird. its frustrating. I like the fuel perks but I don't like the service I get there some the one store I shop at stinks smells like nobody cleans the front area where the carts are held.

      • RM

I use coupons on rainchecks in Cleveland ,TN

      • RBP

This past week I have been to both Bi-Lo in Fort Oglethorpe and they took my raincheck and coupons. I used one today on the eggs that were BOGO last week. It was a manager that was running the register and he had no problem taking both. I would call the corporate office and ask them to email you their policy. Make sure you do the survey on the bottom of your receipt. I do mind online and have even had the store manager email me back and I wrote good comments. Right now you get a coupon for free b sauce. The Bi-Lo near LFO is great. I can even use competitor's coupons when certain managers are there.

    • One question about the Post Cereals coupon. There is a big Target logo on the coupon, but it's not a Target Web Coupon. It says Manufacturer's coupon at the top. Will Bi-Lo still take it or will it be a YMMV?

      • Teedlesp73

My BiLo in Hixson, TN takes competitor coupons. They don't take the $5 off 25 kind of coupons though. I used a Viva coupon last week from the Walgreens coupon book.

        • GA Girl

Would that be the BiLo Superstore on Hixson Pike close to the Publix?

          • christy

yes…only three per visit and no stacking…but at least they are beginning to “compete.” <><

      • Julie

If it says Manufaturer's at the top then it is not a Target store coupon only.. it can be used anywhere.

    • $0.75/1 Butterball Turkey Franks coupon also available at www(dot)butterball(dot)com/promotion/butterballreg-turkey-franks-q2-2010

    • cleller

In my local Bilo ad it says that you will get an extra .05 cents fuel perks for buying 2 10.5 – 11 oz Lay's chips. North of Greenville, SC

      • Momofjcs

I did this today in Boiling Springs, SC too! Easy way to earn extra fuel perks quickly.

    • there is a 2.00 off tombstone pizza on facebook

    • Sharon

Our Bi Lo in Pageland SC isn't giving overage on coupons. If you B1 G1 free and use two coupons, the coupon only doubles upto the “after Bi Lo bonus card price of each items half price”. You get the face value and then up to the actual cost of the item for extra coupon value, one of my coupons only valued $.01 for the extra coupon value! I guess, I will only be using my $1 off coupons there from now on! I will be taking my others, where I will get the most value offered!

      • Looneytunes3

you know you are obsessive when you complain about getting stuff for free

      • LuvthisStuff

All you have to do to get around this is, Scan your Bi-Lo card after they ring your Coupons, I do it all the time.

    • Diana

Bi-lo in Hixson, TN has Glade scented oil candle holders close out for $1.79. I still had a few $2/1 holder Q's that I got a while back out of other packages purchased and the coupons scanned plus overage!

      • GA Girl

BiLo on Mission Ridge Rd in Rossville will not accept coupons on closeouts. I am certain they use to accept them but recently they stated it was their policy not to take coupons on closeouts. I cancelled my order on six bottles of L'Oreal since they wouldn't take my coupons.

    • Freedomchef

where do you find the discounts for the coupons printed above in red?

      • In your sunday paper. the date refers to the sunday that those inserts would be in the paper and SS= smart source RP= Red Plum and PG is the P&G brandsaver.

    • Jrfw39

Do you have a grace period on the expiration date of the coupons? I
noticed that some of these coupons referred to for this week expired
      on 7/18?

      • Tradn4fun

The dates above refer to the date you'd find it in the newspaper NOT the exp. date. Some people don't clip ahead of time, they just put the whole insert in a file folder.

    • LuvthisStuff

So just got back from my local Bi-lo and they told me they lowered the Double coupons to .55 cents. I think there are wrong. It's always been .60 and the cashier wasn't really sure… Even had a Big sign on front of Store of .60 at one point… This stinks… People need all the discount they can get for there food, And now they Lower it.. Simpsonville SC

      • Kendall

Don't think they're wrong. Something is up. This whammy was pulled on me a couple months back when I saw my q's weren't doubling. It's really bothersome when these stores keep changing everything. And even more upsetting that they leave the sign up like that.

    • Tdilges21

Mueller spaghetti coupons in store dispenser. 2.00 off 5 boxes.

    • Freedomspradley1

I can't find the Florida Natural OJ q. I get The State in Columbia, SC. Anyone else having this problem?

      • AH

your regional paper may not have had it. you can check the regionals section on the site to see if your paper got it. you can also buy the coupon for a coupon clipping service if you need it.

    • Chelsea

Coca-Cola brand 2L are $10 for 10 and some have a coupon on them for $1 off when you buy two. (you have to spend $4 in the store) get two Coke product sodas with the coupon's on them and they're free.

    • deniseCLT

there's also a $1 manu q for the Grande tortilla chips in the Earth Fare Summer Savings booklet, and my Bi-Lo has the Try Me Free sticker on many of the bags. So this is a money maker!

    • Rbettyanne

Any one know how the Bilo in Rutherfordton NC is???? I think Im going to try them out! do they double?

    • Heads up everybody! The BI-LO on St Andrews Rd. in Columbia, SC has Green Works Laundry Detergent on closeout for $4.49. Reg 8.99. use the $3 off coupon. makes it $1.49 for a 30 load bottle. They had plenty when I was there this afternoon. Look for the purple tag.
Here is the link for the Q:

      • Confused

Does anyone know the REAL policy on using q's on closeout items? My local BiLo refused to accept q's on closeouts. Is the policy different at each store?

        • I had a cashier check me out on my first trip when I got one detergent and they had no problem with the coupon. When I went back to get 3 more the next day, I used U-scan. I had no problem using all 3 coupons. I guess it is only certain stores. My BI-LO is usually very coupon friendly.

      • jh

thanks for the heads up.. finally solved my dilemma about what best priced laundry soap to get.lol… thanks to southern savers as well and to all those who in one way or the other makes it possible to save in these times…

    • Momofjcs

I did this today in Boiling Springs, SC too! Easy way to earn extra fuel perks quickly.

    • Kidd1969

      Same with Lincolnton, Nc store.

    • Kidd1969

Harris Teeter has Super Doubles occasionally and doubles up to $1.99 with a limit of 20 per day. Also they do triple coupons about every 6 weeks or so with the same limit.

    • Kidd1969

Walmart will price match if you take competitors sale papers in. They don't double coupons or match BOGO but sometimes gas saved is a bonus in itself.

    • meme

I saw a couple of couponers post from Anderson, SC. Have you noticed some stores are suppressing some coupons from doubling? The cashier at Publix told me it was fraudulent to double the ones that state “do not double”. Okay. Just thought that was a store courtesy to double all coupons.

One issue I had at Bi-Lo on Greenville St. — the young man was not coupon friendly and I was expecting a catalina to print for the Nature Valley granola bars and the Kraft items. The $5 on the Kraft printed, but two other catalina's printed and he ripped them out of the machine, crumpled them and threw them in the trash. He said they were just advertisements for products. I feel they were still “my advertisements” and the more I think about it, the more I feel I should mention it to the manager. Most likely, one was my catalina for the granola bars. That $4 would have applied to my detergents which I ring up separately.

I should also warn the Andersonian's that this store has really old meat. I had to throw some out the day I purchased it. I was reimbursed only one time, but this has happened on several occasions. A Bi-Lo office worker I met in another store told me Bi-Lo stands behind their meat and they have had trouble with this store's butcher leaving out old meat. So be warned.

Just thought I would get your observations on the local stores.

      • Thanks for your info. Thankfully I live near the Super Bi-lo on Hwy 24 and they are very helpful and curteous when I lay down my pile of coupons. ;) I have never had an issue with their meat either.

    • Raynesmw

I had a great time shopping at my Bi Lo today.Have been going to HT, but decided today to go there instead. I had 2 Q for 1.50 each on Butterball Meat and they took both off the BOGO asst. sliced pack. Bill before Q's was 78.00, after 33.00. Mine doubles Q up to 99 cents I was told. I did have 2 Q that were 50 cent, but the double off was only 8 cents. I couldn't complain b/c I was getting such good deals. Anybody know why this would happen?

      • Suemh

Some coupons only double to the purchase price. Could that have been the case?

      • Fullhouse

I have a problem @ bilo with my printable coupons doubling correctly. I have had a cashier override the system and manually put it through, then have others who havn't been as helpful. In either situation, the amount would have still been less than the item.

    • keb2009

hmm, not sure how the steak sauce is coming out so cheap as out bilo has it bogo at $3.19? and the french/italian bread is $1.99 bogo.

      • AH

the sales vary a little in different stores. :( be sure to check your local ad to make sure it isn't listed!

    • B12mommy

Do all the bilos have the minor league baseball ticket promo right now? I just got two free tickets!

    • Teedlesp73

BiLo in Hixson TN has Greased Lightening BOGO. And there is a $1 coupon in August All You.

      • dharvn

i found $1.50/1 greased lightning manuf/coupons last week in my dollar general store from the pull-out cpn machines. no DG on the coupons either. i'll check my bi-lo here to see if they are on sale.

        • Teedlesp73

I just checked http://www.greased-lightning.com/ . They have $1 off coupons, too. That will save me from having to drag the kids in DG just to look for the coupon. It will still be a good deal on Greased Lightning. I use it for laundry spot remover and sometimes for my kitchen floors.

        • Teedlesp73

Went back to Bilo with my Greased Lightning coupons yesterday and it wasn't BOGO anymore. They said it might have been BOGO just for a couple days because they had too much in stock.

    • Greersw

Does anyone know if you can freeze cheese? If you can does it taste ok when thawed?

      • kim

I have been told that you can, but I have never tried it.

      • Ann Melton

        Here's a link for you: http://www.thriftyfun.com/tf21851078.tip.html

That talks about freezing cheese. My recommendation: freeze one type of cheese that you use a lot. If it works, continue to freeze. If not, you have only lost a block of cheese and it was likely on sale at that.
