For the meal deal – do you buy two pizzas for $7.99/ea or is the total of the meal deal $7.99? Thanks for all you do!

      • It's $7.99 each…

    • Jenni

Meh. Most of these deals are hold overs from this past week, and I've used up my coupons now… Oh, well. Here's hoping Publix has a great list!

    • Cayman

Are there no FuelPerks this week at Bi-Lo?

      • Amy

That's what I was wondering. I really like their FuelPerks deals in addition to the 5 cents every $50.

      • There are a few fuel perk deals. One for frappuccino, one for “Top Care” items, and one deal for buying a pet food donation bag.

    • Enoughsaid

Ther is also a $1.50 coupon for Tide in the ss 08/22.

    • JCT

If they meal deal is $16, is it really such a good deal?

      • Daisy25

I saw that too. I usually like the Meal Deal – but $16? Really?

        It seems like too much…

        • Crstnashppd

If the deal is meant to be eaten as a meal, why would they give you pizza and pizza rolls. Fail.

          • Crstnashppd

Also I could grab 2 pizzas for Little Caesar's, crazy bread, a gallon of whatever ice cream is on sale, and still come out cheaper than that price, plus I wouldn't have to cook :)

    • Debbie

WHEN I BROUGHT UP MY LIST TO MAKE MY SHOPPING LIST, THE “CREATE LIST” BUTTON IS NOT AT THE BOTTOM TO CREATE MY LIST. HOW DO I CREATE MY LIST. PLEASE HELP!

      • It is in the large gray/green box just above the words “Share and enjoy”. A lot of people have had trouble finding it. If you are using a laptop or a flat panel monitor, try tilting it back a little. It will stand out more.

    • Denise P.

The Bar-S franks link printed a coupon for bologna not franks.

    • It is in the large gray/green box just above the words “Share and enjoy”. A lot of people have had trouble finding it. If you are using a laptop or a flat panel monitor, try tilting it back a little. It will stand out more.

Where are the price lock deals

    • Jen B.

Yesterday I was at the Bi-Lo in Franklin, NC and they had some Febreeze Home Collection items on clearance. I bought 2 flameless luminaries and 2 refills at $20.46 and used the coupons from this weeks P&G saver ($4 off a luminary $1 off a refill) So, I only paid $10.46 and I'll be getting the $10 rebate! It's like I got them for just 46 cents.

      • Mrsamanda

I shop at Franklin Bi LO also!

    • sharina hilton

hi jenny this is my first time posting but i noticed in the ad that the shick xtreme 3 razors are on sale for $5.99 and coupons.com has a $5 off coupon making it .99 not bad if you ask me

    • Kelly

i dont like this new layout at all!! you cannot print the list like before, there are ads showing on it!!

      • All of my lists printed fine.

      • mom

I also liked the plain jane website better. I found it much easier to follow. Sometimes more is not better but southern savers is still #1

      • Jenni

That is strange. I've printed several list since the new site went up, and none have had ads.

      • Wvarner2000

My lists all print fine and I love the new layout. Just like anything else, you just have to get familiar with it. Change is always hard. :)

    • Gophersavingcash

Can Catalina's be used in addition to coupons in the Sunday paper? I.E. – Got a Catalina from Bi-Lo for $2 off any 5 boxes of General Mills cereals. I don't buy cereal unless it's on sale and I can combine it w/a coupon.

      • Crstnashppd

Catalinas are usually manufacturers coupons, check beside the expiration date. You can only use one manu. q per item, but can combine them with store q, if it says bilo coupon or publix coupon, etc. beside the date.

        • Robinpedigo

It will state manufacture coupon on the top, but lately I have been getting Bi Lo catalinas that are store coupons and they are generic. For example I got a $1 of any jar of pickles or relish. The Valasic(?) pickles were bogo and I had a manufacture's coupon too. I was able to use all three and it made for a great deal. These Bi Lo catalinas seem to print once a week for me. I can also use them at Publix.

    • sharron

The meal deal is actually $15.98 this week.

    • Lainehw70 Elaine

My Bar S coupon printed out Bologna too!

    • SlightlyAnnoyed

It is more beneficial to put the total cost of the meal deal rather than the price per pizza. It's pretty discouraging to get to the register and realize that the price you thought it was is not correct. Yes, it is my own stupid fault for not double checking and relying on a unaffiliated website for my info.

Having said that, I love Southern Savers.

      • Abbydreyer

I dont get why that bothers you. If youre paying $7.99 per pizza and you have to buy 2 to get the deal, thats $15.98. Everything else is free. Its not difficult to know that you're paying $15.98 minus any coupons for the entire meal.

      • Michtires519

I am really not trying to be rude or disrespectful or anything but Jenny had written it down correctly you neglected to read it carefully. So if you are “slightly annoyed” then it should be at yourself. Jenny does an awesome job on this website to help us all out especially through tough times…maybe next time you should just double check yourself before you go out and shop. Like I said no disrespect meant to you but what bothers me the most is when people blame others for their own mistakes.

    • I went to Bi-Lo on Monday and did pretty well. When I got home I realized that one of my $2 Mueller's coupons had not been scanned (I had 2). I was so busy getting a raincheck that I did not think to look at my receipt before I left. I had meant to call the next day and simply forgot. My cashier's register should have been $2 over in coupons that day. There was one time that some of my coupons were scanned twice (same cashier) and the next day I went in and talked to the manager and paid the money back. Still debating. Maybe I'll call tomorrow. $2 is a lot for couponers.

    • chrystalm

Has anyone paid attention to the pick 5. Sounds like it could be a good deal. Pick 5 products and pay $ 20. This makes the products $4 a piece. My Bi-lo had a 2pk large pizza included in the sale. They also had baggess salmon, whiting, and flounder that looked pretty good. They had a variety of products that could be the center of a meal for $4 a piece if you get 5 products. It seems like a good deal. They had the hamburger patties 4 of them included in the special. What do you guys think?

    • TabithaIlges

I think on the pick 5 for 19.99 that the Tennessee pride sausage biscuits are a good deal if you use the .75/1 coupon out of the paper. It would make them about 2.50 a box and you can combine that with the 2 pack pizzas and corn dogs if you have kids like I do. Plus the turkey tenderloins are good and my husband who works in a bi-lo market says that normally for four of them it would be about 24 dollars so 19.99 for 5 is a good deal.

    • Michaelsmom23

Blue Bunny Champ! Cones, 24-27.6 oz., at $5.59 ($2.79)

At my Bi-lo in Inman, SC they had these with $1.25 Peelies on each box. I got 4 boxes for $5.28. (The original price at my store was $5.15 ($2.57)

    • ccm

Just an fyi for menu planners, most of the ingredients needed for a shrimp boil are on sale. If you're on a tight budget, you can make a shrimp boil without the shrimp for a great price this week.

    • Jules44444

Our Bi-Lo doubles coupons up to $0.99.

      • Vgwagoner

        Which Bilo?

    • Vwalsh91

Frank's Hot sauce is on sale for 99 cents right now and there is a 50 cent off coupon. After tax it was only 1 cent each.

    • Olbupp

Bi-Lo has some specials on their website…also, complete their survey and you get something free – right now it's Seltzer…plus, there are several meat options you can get 5 pkgs. for $19.99 with your Bi-lo card….also, buy items and they match theirs for free….see their website and click on all the specials….8 oz. Strip Steaks are part of the pick 5!!!

    • Rkeen

Can someone explain the 10 muller pasta deal?

      • I do not think the deal is on for this week. Last week they were giving $1 off instantly for buying 3 mueller's pasta products. This is what I did. I bought
        10 small boxes of spaghetti @ 79¢ each = 7.90.
        I received $3 off instantly = 4.90.
        1 used (2) $2/5 Mueller's coupons= 90¢ for all 10 boxes.

Check your shelves to see if they are tagged for the instant savings.

    • Nancy

Does anyone else have a problem using coupons for the “Free” items with the meal deal? Even though I purchase other items while I'm there, the store closest to my house will not take them… They always read every word on every coupon ~ even the ones that are not for meal deal items, before they try to scan them and make me feel like I'm doing something wrong. Seriously considering never going there… The Publix employees have won we over!!

      • When I went to a workshop Jenny told us that if you are doing the Meal Deal at BI-LO you need to have them scan your bonus card last, after your coupons. The register “kicks out” the free items so you don't pay for them. The bonus card triggers this. HTH

    • The Shady Farms turkey tenderloins are part of the 5 for 19.99 @ my store… and there is a $1/1 coupon on their site….

    • Ncleslie

Did anyone else have the $5/5 Kraft foods coupon? I was told by our Bi-Lo that these were fraudulent coupons & was actually accused by the manager of “buying them online or making extra copes” – only had two of them.

Does anyone know about this one?

      • Ijpanko

I would report the manager, the site is new so maybe they dont know about the new promotion kraft is running to fight hunger, and the coupon comes from a kraft site. I would of asked to speak to HIS supervisor. I dont like to put up with incompetence when it comes to their job, all he had to do was refuse the coupon, no other reply is necessary. Several times I have had to tell an employee at a grocery store what there coupon policy is. So let someone else higher up tell you no before you accept it.

This happened at Piggly Wiggly as well. The manager said they were not allowed to take the coupon because they wouldnt get credit for it.

I just used my $5 off coupon with no problem.

      • Minners63

I used at Publix with no problem

there is a green advertisement for the $5 on some pkgs of the kraft shredded cheese.

I used mine at Ingles. They took it

      • Momof04girls

I used mine at ingles and walmart. No questions asked.

I'm new at this couponing thing and have a question. If a coupon is .50/2 and I have 2 of that coupon can I buy 2 of the item and use the 2 coupons? Does that make and sense because I know that sounds confusing?

      • VanessaCook

No, you can not do that. A .50/2 coupon is $0.50 off of two items. So, you would have to buy 4 items to use two coupons.

FYI – cheap Special K – with the $4 off 4 boxes of Kelloggs promo at Bi Lo .. buy 4 boxes of Spec K = $10 less the instant $4 off = $6 less coupons ($1 off 2) -$2 = $1 per box!! What a deal! Beats Publix's upcoming sale BOGO on Spec K!!

and since when does bi lo not take internet coupons today i went there today with 2 1 dollar coupons and they said they do not take internet coupons anymore starting today. if thats true i might not go there as much and i do love bi lo cause they double up to 99 cents. anyone else have that prob.

      • Ncleslie

I had internet coupons & they took those with no problem. Just not those Kraft coupons – I have to head over there today, so I may go back in & see if there is a different manager on duty today & if I can gain any ground with them.

Does anyone know if the meal deal this week is “2 pizzas for $11.98 total” or 11.98 each? It is not clear in the ad, and makes a difference.
