Awesome, thanks Jenny! I'm heading back out to Publix since I forgot coupons for my cat food and I can grab a movie now while I'm there! :)

How does this work exactly? I would have done this and been able to get it in time but am cautious about charging my card for anything until I know exact details. Do you all use it?

      • Leigh

I have used it several times. It only puts a charge on your card if you are late turning the movie in.

The code did NOT work at our Blockbuster Kiosk rental.

    • Caffe072

This code did not work for me either. When I got home I emailed the service dept. of that company and hopefully they will help me out with this as I did get a movie but was not sure at the time if it worked correctly and it did not. I was charged. It is a longer story that i will not bore you with, just to say I am a novice at redbox and blockbuster box so I know what to do but this time the machine did something funky.

FYI for folks who may have not used these kiosks before. Initially a charge shows up, but they have just obtained authorization in case you don't return the movie on time. I used my debit card and it showed as “pending”. If you return the movie on time, they do not process the charge and you will see it fall off. HTH!

I had a couple of codes last week for Blockbuster. The first one the kiosk did not accept, but the 2nd one went through. A few days later the charge went through and remains on my account. This has never happened with Redbox, though.
