With Summer comes many things, but one of the most fun (and most expensive) is new movies!

Fandango and Visa Signature are teaming up yet again this year to bring you half price movie nights!   Each Friday during the summer when you purchase at least two movie tickets on Fandango with your Visa Signature card, you’ll receive one of the tickets for Free!

This is good May 4th through August 17th.

Also, don’t forget about the Summer Movie Theater programs for kids.

Good news: I have a Visa Signature card. Bad news: enter your card to see if you qualify for the offer. Anyone else hesitant to give away your card info?!

    • ONLY if you have a VISA SIGNATURE CARD, so that excludes many people.

“You’ll receive one of the tickets for Free!” I had to re-read it to clarify as well, but it is BOGO.

      • Kelliea

Yes, I’m trying to figure out the difference between a Visa Signature card and a regular Visa card….

    • kaliio

Kind of sucks. Before I was able to take advantage of this offer with my visa card but it looks like its not a “signature” card anymore, or ever was… either way looks like I’m not getting the BOGO :-(

    • The4geigers

You can only get this offer once a month (every 30 days) NOT each Friday.  Too bad.

      • Kelliea

yes, the way they make the offer sound, and the way the fine print reads, are MUCH different!

How often is there a movie -worth- paying even -half- price for in theaters, anyway, right? Especially those with kids. After a sitter, gas to get there and the movie itself, my husband and I are out at least $40, if not more. How many people can spend that once a month, let alone each week these days?

      Credit Cards are baaaad

    • Lindastull

Thank you for posting this. It showed up on my APP.

I have several visa cards.. none are signature.. anyway I don’t see how this is fair!
Should be BOGO if you pay CASH! Or use your debit card.. not a fair deal for ALL people.

It is very likely because Visa is paying Fandango something for doing this – so it does make sense that only specified Visa users get the deal. This is the type of thing that credit card companies do to get people’s business… and money. Lots and lots of their money.
