Meritline.com currently has Generic Brother TN450 Compatible High Yield Black Toner Cartridge for only $15.95 + FREE Shipping. This means your saving $7 and getting your shipping for FREE.

This will fit the black and white laser printer that I recommend the most around here, the Brother 2240.  If you don’t have the printer… just wait I think they are slowly becoming the printer of choice for most couponers.

The high yield cartridge can print over 2000 coupons without running out!

    • Boy, I wish I had seen this ad 2 days ago. I didn’t know where to buy the toner and spent big bucks at Office Depot. I’m writing this name down for when I need more toner. I got my 2240 for Christmas and love it too!!

    • einnaej

Got my printer just befor Christas when staples ad it for 49.99.It prints great. This is a really fabulous price for toner. Defintely getting this deal.

    • DonnaChas

Thank you sooooooooooooo much for posting this incredible deal, Jenny!!  I am so glad that I popped back in here to look at something quickly before bed…..  I just bought generic toner about two weeks when Ebates had a great savings deal but it wasn’t as good as this!!    I’m going to get one for my backup.

How long is toner good?  Would it be good a year from now?

      • JustMe

Get 2 if you can, the price is even lower.  I am using one now that I bought last May.  The free shipping really makes this a great deal.

        • Guest

You have used the GENERIC that is $15.95 for 1 from this source. There is also as PREMIUM for $22.95. The Premium has some reviews the GENERIC does not. Not sure what the difference is other than price.

          • Guest

I looked at the reviews for the premium and some people had some problems with after install with lights not going out. I no problem at all when I installed the non OEM toner I got from 4Inkjets. Still wondering if this source is as good. I’d really like to know the difference between the Generic and Premium especially since the generic has no reviews. If I order I may not use in time to do a return since I just put in the one from 4Inkjets last week.

        • DonnaChas

Did you buy it from Meitline?    I did see that they have a lower deal if you buy two or three?

          Thanks!

        • Gamblesonsfarms

did you buy this exact one from meritline?

      • JustMe

ok, the 2 pack is not a better deal because it does not have free shipping….

    • Guest

Jenny, is the toner from this source the same quality as the non OEM toner from 4Inkjets? Have you actually used the toner from this source with any issues? I just purchased a replacement from 4Inkjets when you posted the 27% cash back from ebates + 10% off deal and it worked out to $22 and change. This deal is a little better. Luckly I did order when I did as my starter toner just ran out. Had been using it to print quite a lot since early November.

    • Gamblesonsfarms

I was very disappointed in my HP generic ink from LD Products. Hoping this is a different story….any happy campers with this deal besides Jenny?

    • Laura

would this work for the Brother 7360N?

    • DonnaChas

I see they have GEnERIC and PREMIUM    Does anyone know the difference besides the price?   If so, is it worth it?

    • Gamblesonsfarms

Go through Mr. Rebate for 3% cash back. Here’s my referral, just remove spaces: http: //www. mrrebates. com?refid =489306

    • Julie

Just yesterday I ordered this same high yield cartridge from an eBay seller for $17.51. They had 99% positive feedback rating so hopefully it will work like it’s supposed to. This is a slightly better deal but I’m wondering if anyone has ordered from this company before that can vouch for the toner working properly..?

    • DonnaChas

Ebates doesn’t list this company, but Shop At Home has cash back but doesn’t say how much.

      • Gamblesonsfarms

Mr. Rebates has 3% see my referral link below if you’re not signed up. thanks!

        • Gamblesonsfarms

shopathome only has coupons, not cashback. They do that a lot of times.

      • Guest

I think ShopAtHome has it listed but does not offer any cash back all the coupons are Community not vendor.

    • Guest

      I wish Jenny would respond…

      • Eva

Yes, I wish she would.. I’ve asked other questions about other posts but no answer yet..

      • Guest

I guess I’ll wait to see if someone says they had a good experience or Jenny responds. The 4Inkjets deal comes around about 4 times a year so if nothing else I can get that again the next time it comes around and by then I will have fully test driven their product. I emailed Meritline and asked what the difference was between the Generic and Premium. I’m not sure I want to take a chance on the Generic since it has not reviews.

    • Gamblesonsfarms

Just went ahead with my order through Mr.Rebates. I figure surely it’s worth 15.95. Especially when I paid $67 at Office Depot. Wish me luck! LOL

    • Sdjanelle

Hey yall….. Jenny is the coupon master not the ink professional or expert! …. she also has a life and a family. If you have questions about the quality of a product or if it is compatible, go look it up online!!! Google is a very large world of information! Geezzzzz

      • Guest

I asked Jenny for her opinion right after she posted this. I don’t expect an answer right away. If she posts something which I think we all assume is somewhat of a recommendation I don’t think it is being unreasonable to ask if she has actually had experience with the product or ask some additional questions in case she has the answers. I appreciate what Jenny does and value this site. I did look it up and information was minimal at best. Sorry your on here just to criticize others.

      I have a Brother HL-2140. I purchased a Laser Toner
      Cartridge (TN360-COM)

from Pacific Direct Source Group Inc. (DuraECO) via Amazon for
      $13.32. I haven’t had any problems. I’m
sure there’s a comparable deal on a cartridge for the HL-2240.

    • Sandy

Amazon currently has a generic TN450 hi yield for 11.88 with free shipping on $25 order..I think I will go that route.

      • einnaej

Thnks for that info,I think I may just do the same thing, instead of this, which no one seems to have much info on.

    • Paula vv

I get 3 or 4 packs from amazon for under 50. For the yield it is a fantastic price compared to replacing ink jets twice a week…

    • Guest

I heard back from Meritline about the difference between the Generic and Premium. Being the Generic does not even come up when you choose Brother Compatible on their site I suspect they may be getting rid of the Generic and perhaps the Premium is replacing it. Maybe i’m wrong but if decide to order I may order the premium instead.
Here is their reply.”The printing quality between of the two items is different. The quality of 139-083-001 is litter better. Thanks!”

    • Dtcox1

well our luck ///// we love our printer we got dec too but went to get a toner from staples 2 weeks ago for back up it was 70.99 plus tax the high yield one for 2600 pages may be we should have waited. not to happy with staples in n c . got home and they didnt even take off the 2.00 off for old cart . oh well another day

      • Guest

If you gave them the old ink cart. at the same time you made your purchase the $2 for the returned cart. gets credited to your reward account you don’t get it off right away.Staples Rewards are issued monthly when the value of the Reward is at least $10. Monthly balances of less than $10 will roll over each month until the minimum is met for that calendar quarter. If the $10 minimum for the quarter has not been met, the balance will expire at the end of the quarter.

FYI: It’s super easy to buy CHEAP toner on ebay and refill yourself!

    • beme2004

Does anyone know which wireless laser printer would be good to get for fairly cheap? I was hoping to get one from Officemax with my $40 Maxperks. I also have Officemax Qs for $20 off or a $30 online Q. Thx.

      • Gamblesonsfarms

I got the HL-2270DW from Office Depot right before Christmas and it was 89.99. It wouldn’t let me use the 10/50 on just the printer because it qualified as technology which the Q excluded. But I was ordering other items and applied it to them. This was the lowest price I had found and had been searching a while.

      • Guest

I purchased the Brother HL-2270DW in November, it’s the wireless version of the HL-2240 printer Jenny recommends for coupon printing. I like it, it’s fast, print quality is good, setup is easy. Starter toner that came with it lasted me until last week and I print a lot. This is a basic wireless laser, no scanner etc. but I have an all-in-one for other print purposes so this is what I wanted for basic B&W printing and for coupons and to save on ink. Keep an eye out for sales, it’s on sale pretty often at Stapes, Office Depot and Office Max. I got it at Staples. It’s list is $149 but was on sale for $99, I had a 20% off coupon from being on Staples mailing list so that brought it down to $79.00. $30 more than the non wireless HL-2240 that regularly goes on sale for $49.  Then I had Staples Rewards I used. I thought it was a good deal.

      • Julie

A couple weeks ago we bought the 2280DW. It’s wireless and includes a flatbed scanner (which you can use like a copier without having to actually get on the computer). I believe normal retail is $199.99 but Staples had it on sale for $149.99 with an additional $50 off if you brought in an old printer to trade in. I *love* this printer and $100 for I think it was a steal!  I really like the looks of it..not too big like some of the all-in-ones, it prints fast and unlike my old laser this one goes into “sleep mode” when not in use so I’m able leave it on all the time and print whenever I need to, from whatever computer I happen to be on in the house (our family has 2 desktops, 2 laptops and a Netbook so the wireless is a HUGE plus). I would definitely keep an eye on the ads and wait for it to go on sale again, and I believe both Staples and Office Max have been running the additional $50 off/trade-in deal when you bring in an old printer.

    • Marylou762

I just placed my order for a 2 pack TN-450 generic and Canon 6 pack for my husband’s computer for less then $50.00 .  I have never bought anything but the name brands so, as long as it works I’m happy to pay less.  I have a Epson for my business and it eats up ink in 2 weeks , they do not let anyone sell their brand generic . Thank god for recycling at Staples.

    • Goldilocks250

Yes!  My printer just popped up the low toner message this morning.  This sale couldn’t be time more perfectly!

    • Linda

      Thanks!

    • Couponmenow11

Has anyone tried the suggestion to press the “GO” button seven times to reset the low toner message – which then allows the cartridge to print until it completely runs out of toner without further messages?
