I have something exclusive and yummy for you!

Cheesecake.com is offering all Southern Savers readers FREE shipping with code SouthernSavers647. This is a $19.95 savings! Each order is sent by 2 day air packed with dry ice so you get an absolutely delicious and fresh cheesecake!

You’ll get free shipping on any New York Cheesecake or Cookie purchase.  (Remember you can have this shipped directly to someone else as a gift for free too.)

They sent us the Chocolate Lovers sampler above, all three pounds of it…  I’m in love.  It might sound silly but even the crust was wonderful.  It was one of the yummiest pie crusts I’ve ever had! (Our cheesecake was not a NY cheesecake so it won’t work with the code, but I have no doubt that they are all great!)

It even came wrapped in a cute bow.

It may seem pricey (can you put a price on cheesecake?), seriously though a 4 lb 14 slice cheesecake comes to about $3.15 per slice and you would probably pay $6+ if you got a slice out at a restaurant.  So while it’s a splurge, you can say you are saving.  :)

This code is good through 12/19.

Okay now I’m off to eat another piece… and then to the gym…

Please note: you may not use a previously purchased Groupon with this free shipping code.

Yummy, I'm sure – but too rich for MY wallet, even with the free shipping! Sigh…

Haha-I'm baking a Tyler Florence Ultimate ccake this weekend for our annual Christmas Dinner. Would have been alot easier if I'd known sooner :)

        • Marlene

I make Tyler's cheesecake all the time – i find it really easy.
And yes you can make really good cheesecake for not much money. What do you need – keep an eye out for cheap graham crackers but you can use any kind of cookie – i used 25cent cookies from CVS clearance for the crumbs.
Then creamcheese -buy it on sale it will last for weeks and weeks unopened at the back of your fridge – a couple of eggs, a little lemon, some vanilla and a pint of sourcream. I think this cake costs me about $5 to $6 to make. I like Tyler's recipe because you use only 2 blocks of creamcheese vs 3 or 4 which some recipes call for.

What is the groupon code that they are talking about? where can i find it?

      • They ran a groupon deal about a month ago, it's not available any longer. (It was also a $20 discount – so really it's the same either way)

Cheesecake is not cheap to make AT ALL. I used to balk at the price of cheesecake until I started making my own. Just sayin'

      • Guest

You can make cheesecake for 3 bucks :)

        • momto3boys

I am assuming the Mariah321 is talking about the real deal………..not the stuff out of a box………..you could never make a homemade cheesecake for under at least 12 to 15 bucks at the least!
