Thanks so much for this list! We always have to run out for last minute things and never know who is open! Merry Christmas, Jenny!

The Riteaid in my town will be open.

I wish every store was closed on Christmas. There is no need for the employees to have to be working, away from their families. Let them celebrate the REAL meaning of Christmas without chasing the dollar.

      • Dolores Miranda

No Im glad someone is open, what if you need something in an emergency, medicine, first aid, something like that.that and not everyone celebrates christmas.

        • Dolores Miranda

however it should be voluntary,or let the manager do the shift..and pay double!!!

i dont agree with you its ok to have some stores open, life still going on they still will have they day off and plus some people need the money for this though life and companies pay them double so is win win.so i thank those store to open i will be in panic if no store were open and we really are in need of something.

open on Christmas Eve is fine but Christmas Day should be closed. There are places to go when you have an emergency and I am thankful for all the service workers who work on Christmas Day.

Not everyone celebrates Christmas, why not be closed the days of other religious holidays in the month of dec ?

      • mom

        i agree!

I know many of you are glad to have some stores open on Christmas day. If you should need to shop, please be extra kind to the people who have to work since they have to be away from their families. Many of the stores will be getting shelves ready for Valentine’s day and running the store with a skeleton crew. So please be extra kind to the employees who are working Christmas day. Thank you and merry Christmas to all.

I do appreciate the people who have to work on Christmas Day and I wish it wan’t so, but unfortunately my baby girl got sick yesterday and I really need some cold medicine because she is prone to pneumonia. I even tried the gas station last night and they only sell headache and antacid stuff. I need to go to CVS. Thank you very much for the info!

Look for meat mark downs the day after a store is closed. Always fun!
