Here are your deals at the Commissary for the next week and a half. In general I would plan on getting most of your dairy, and meat purchases at the commissary also. Thanks to Lauren for help with the list!

A few notes about this list:

  1. I do not have authorization to list actual prices because the commissary is not a traditional grocery store. So instead of prices you will see a percent off. If you want to see the full list of what is on sale with prices you can go here and log in.
  2. This list also follows the same guidelines as other lists on Southern Savers, only items that will be at least 40% will be listed. Remember to stock up on these items by getting 6-8 weeks worth this week.
  3. The list will run for two weeks so look for a new list every other Wednesday/Thursday.

If you find any deals in the store not listed let us know! If you find any new military coupons share that too!!
Coupon Policy:

  • Commissaries DO NOT double or triple coupons. Rarely the commissary will run a special promotion allowing you to use two manufacture coupons on one item. This is the DeCa form of “super double coupons”.
  • Commissaries DO NOT accept other store coupons.
  • Commissaries WILL accept Internet printed coupons.
  • ***Please note that the commissary will not accept a Procter & Gamble internet printable***

Please explain the commissary list. – Can anyone shop there or is this just for those who can?

Different question. Did you ever draw the names for the Kroger card? I know you had to pull the post, but I thought you were still drawing a name. Maybe I am confused. Thanks.

      • Jenny

        Kim,

I did draw the name and emailed them but for you and anyone else that reads these comments we are having another bigger and better kroger giveaway tommorrrow!

The commissary list is really only for those that have access to the military shopping system. I don’t even get to go.

I went to the CAFB commissary on Saturday and came home with a hand full of different coupons from tear pads they just put out. They are store coupons basically because so you can only use them at military commissaries. They are also manufacturer’s coupons too so I don’t believe you can stack it with any other coupon.

    • Stacy K

FYI, my Publix accepts military coupons.

    • Molly

Yes, my Publix takes military coupons and accepts them as store/competitor coupons. Therefore, you can stack with a manufacturer Q for big savings. I found lots of good coupons in the commissary during my last trip. They had obviously just put a new set of them out (lots of cereal coupons — 75 cents to a dollar off each box — and various other Qs).

    • Michelle

Publix in Athens, AL accept commissary coupons as well (or so they told me they did)….I haven’t actually tried it yet.

    • Becky

Just want to let everyone know that the Charleston AFB does accept manufacturer coupons stacked with a military coupon. It just depends on the wording on the military coupon. I did this last week and had huge savings. I grew up an Army brat but didn’t marry military and greatly miss the benefits of shopping at the commissary. Thankfully my mom and other friends are willing to take me when they can. I greatly suggest asking a friend that is military if they would be willing to take you because it is definitely worth the trip and effort..you truly won’t believe the prices!!

    • qponmom

Stacy K, which Publix is this?
      Thanks

    • Dale

I was under the impression that those with commissary privileges were not allowed to take civilians and purchase items for them???? Just curious, as I would love to do this for my daughter as well.
