Going Nuts? I can help you understand coupon terms and abbreviations

Here are the differences in the coupon inserts you received Sunday 2/27.

Click on the paper near you to see what coupons were actually in the inserts around the Southeast. Check out the differences to really get an idea of what paper is the best to buy.

A few ways to use these lists:

  1. If you see that you did not get a coupon that was released, you can go to online coupon sites and order it.
  2. Print the list for your area and keep it with your inserts to quickly know if you have that coupon.
  3. Use it as a way to decide what paper is the best paper in your area to buy.

A legend for the list:

Black = You got this coupon!
Red = Not in this insert

Blue = A Change in value or a new coupon not in the preview.

I get the Hattiesburg American….we got the P&G insert and one other, I cant remember it, I cut them up already to put in my binder. :( sorry

    • goye1

Why are so many missing in the South??

    • Mcleodsc

THE ITEM Sumter, SC The ones I purchased only had the P& G insert.
      THE STATE-had both inserts.

Why does our local newspaper not have all of the inserts?

    • Sillysnicks

I get the Asheville Citizen-Times delivered and it was missing the P&G insert so I bought 2 papers at RiteAid and they were both missing the P&G inserts. I can't believe my bad luck this past Sunday!

      • PJ

I also get the Asheville Citizen-Times. I don't think the P&G insert was included in our paper. I got 5 papers and none had it only the SS insert.

        • Guest

I also get the Asheville Citizen-Times– get ten papers, no P&G. Only SS. :(

    • C.B.

I also bought the citizen times at three different locations and the p&g insert was missing.

    • Kathycake

I am visiting Tamarac florida bought 3 newspapers out of outside news stand and got absolutely NO INSERTS AT ALL NOT EVEN THE K-MART CVS, TARGET or any other ads — NOTHING ! ! !
sHOULD HAVE GONE IN pUBLIX – THERE WAS NO ONE TO COMPLAIN TO OR GET MY MONEY BACK. Will never do that again.

      • KatherineW

        Kathy,
Newspapers may not have all (or any) of the coupon inserts. For example, I live in Sarasota and I buy the Sunday papers for Sarasota and the neighboring city Bradenton. Last Sunday, the Sarasota paper carried both inserts while the Bradenton paper carried none. What I suggest doing is purchasing the Sunday papers from a grocery or gas station, and checking to make sure there are inserts in the paper before purchasing.

Is there a place to get the list for Texas. I am in DFW Texas. Looking to get more info for my area….. Love your site Jenny and I love the video's.

    • Jessymay68

I am on Saint Simons Island, in Ga. and we get inserts in the Brunswick News. I'd be happy to post a list of what coupons where there but I don't know where you are getting the “master list” from.

      • Val

This would be great! Email Jenny and she can probably give you instructions on how to do it :)

I have a question… I live in Augusta, Georgia and buy my copies from the newstand. Each week it seems that we don't have more coupons from the list than we do… The Atlanta Journal is printed locally by the same group that puts out the Augusta Chronicle (rather than Atlanta bringing the paper down, they just contract it out with the local printer… I think NY Times, etc. works the same way.) So here's my question- if I buy the Atlanta Journal on the newstand here in Augusta, will it have the Atlanta version of the coupon inserts, or will they still be putting the Augusta version into that paper since it is printed and put together at the same location?

the Lynchburg News & Advance is often missing the inserts that you say are going to be available…..I have called & asked why but all I get is “it's up to the individual carrier to get everything in the paper……anyone here want to tell me where is the best place to get ALL the inserts each week?

    • Imaspongebobmom

I live in Greenville, SC and subscribe to the Greenville News. There were NO inserts in my paper today. Anybody live around here that could tell me if they got theirs, or bought one at a store and got them? I am going to cancel my subscription and just make my husband pick them up on his way to work or something because this is the 3rd week in a row 1 or more have been missing, when they should have been there!
