One of the best things that happened when our family began using coupons, is that we finally had extra money or items to give to people in need. Before coupons I was barely able to feed us, and then all of a sudden we had so much to give!
While I get tons of requests for coupons or donations that I simply can’t begin to share all of them, the former pediatric oncology nurse in me couldn’t help but share this simple request to see what the Southern Savers community could do to help.
Here’s the email I got:
This is probably a very strange request, but I thought you may have some ideas. I work at the Children’s Hospital in Charleston, SC, and our pediatric cancer patients are in need of unscented Dove soap due to extreme skin sensitivities from their treatment. I always check your website and buy when there are good deals, but I’m not able to nearly meet the demand of the hospital. Do you have any idea of an avenue I could use to approach couponers to donate some of their super steal deals? Or at least to send Dove coupons our way so that our staff are not spending as much money out of pocket? Unfortunately, Dove does not do any community sponsorships.
Thank you so much for your time!

There are also a number of sales this week on Dove Soap (or use this same link to see future sales too).
Send coupons or soap directly to Emily:
Even if you don’t have any soap or coupons to give, I know many of you have specific products that you need to save on. Leave some advice, tips or just a word of encouragement in the comments.
