Couldn’t find CVS Excedrin Migraine coupon. Any suggestions on zipcodes? Thanks!

    • Anna

About the Nature Made deal…the coupon says “limit one per customer”, so some of my friends have not been able to use two in one transaction. Has anyone had any luck using two in one transaction?

      • Jen

I was able to use two and also used the $3/1. All with no issues.

        • Anna

More questions: Did the cashier flag it at all or have to manually input the second coupon? Thanks for replying!

          • RH

I was NOT able to use two $10 off coupons last week. I was able to use one $10 off + two $3 off so it was still a great MM with the B complex mini’s which were $10.49 at my store. My cashier tried to scan my second $10 off and it beeped at her and she read the “only one per transaction” note. (I had not not noticed or read about it here at the time). I went later in the week to do deal the second time – they were out of the B complex, so I bought the multi-vitamins which were $15.49 at my store. So they were free (a little bit of a MM) and a product we will definitely use! Great!

      • Why would you use two in one transaction if it says “Limit one per customer”? Is it not enough that this is a quality, high value product for FREE? You are risking the cashier’s job as well as the likelihood that they will offer such high value coupons in the future, which impacts the rest of us.

        • Anna

Sheesh louise, woman. This was a continuation of last week’s deal, and Jenny posted buy 2, use 2 $10 and 2 $3. Chill. I was just wondering how people were able to use two. If it makes you feel better, I only used one per the coupon limitations.

          • OK, sorry if I offended. I think it is way too easy to present coupons in a way inconsistent with their terms and still get them accepted… and I sympathize with the cashiers, who are just trying to raise their kids or get through school or whatever with their lives. Too often I have seen them turned sour to ALL couponers because they were bullied or taken advantage of by a few bad apples. I don’t mean to be judgy, just want this to be a community we can all be proud to say we are a part of. Happy Shopping!

          • Also there were others on other threads trying to get the second $10 to go through – I just happened to pick yours to reply to, which was perhaps too personal and meant to be a more general inquiry. :)

    • There was a Colgate toothpaste coupon also and then you would only have to Pay tax for the toothpaste I believe in last Sun paper.
I did not get last Sun paper.

Anybody find the Clean and Care coupon on Smartsource?

      • bobbie14243

I found it on coupons.com via the coupon database.

      • suemac

I couldn’t find it on SmartSource, but found it here: http://www.cleanandclear.com/coupons-deals-discounts

      • pinkladyalley

no, but I found it on there website http://www.cleanandclear.com/coupons-deals-discounts

      • Amber

        no :(

      • I was only able to get to the Healthy Essentials one – which says you can print two but only allowed me to print one before it said it was gone.

      • If you go to the coupon data base and type it clean and clear it takes you to a new website where you can print 2 1.00 off one. I just did it HTH!

        • Robynne in TN

Thank you – I couldn’t get it on either of the other links.

        • Kit

          My thanks as well!

    • mcleodsc

Where are all the deals? I am stocked up for a year on toothbrushes and toothpaste-LOL! I really miss the great deals CVS and WAGS used to have! I am going to start searching out deals at Fred’s, Dollar General , and Family Dollar!

      • n

you can always donate excess – keep the receipts and use them on your taxes! not to mention the good feeling you get helping people in need!

        • lkk

How do you use receipts on ur taxes? i dont have a single clue about finances. Please tell.
          Thanks

          • BaggysWife

If you are donating to hospice, faith home, or food bank type places, they will write you a receipt for the worth of what you are donating. When you file your taxes, you are able to claim any charitable donations to help reduce the amount you pay. But i think thats only if you itemize.

            • penny

for 80 percent of the population, you can’t deduct it off your taxes because you can’t itemize (you could but it is better to take the standard deduction). A very large percentage of the country is paying nothing or next to nothing in taxes already (like they have $100 taken out of their check a month and get back $7000. in a refund). Give to charity if you want to but it usually doesn’t help your taxes. I donate my items to people I know, I give enough in taxes to the government to subsidize all the people who don’t pay any taxes.

            • BaggysWife

I used to work at H&R block and still go to there for any information about tax related things. I try not to mislead anyone. Depending on how much you travel, medical expenses and the income of the household, sometimes its better to itemize. I know of a couple who bring in 100,000 a year together and have no withholdings to offset the amount they would owe. She coupons for what they need but if she can get something for free, she donates it. She saved all of her receipts from donations, itemized and it saved them from having to pay. On the other hand, I wish they only took $100 in taxes out of my husbands check. :) I guess to not aggravate anyone I should have said that its beneficial to high income house holds to answer her question rather than just gave a quick answer to the question.

            • Kit

I’ve been pondering this recently. I have seperate receipts for the items I donate. I’m quite sure the charity would have no problem writing out receipts. My question is, WHAT do you itemize? Fake example: So the total value of the goods on a receipt is $50. The sales tax is $2.00. The cost of the goods AFTER coupons is $10. So my total bill would be $12.00. How in the HECK do you itemize that? I’m guessing you claim the $10 worth? It seems… unethical to me to claim the full $50. Any insight into this would be great. I know how to itemize donated clothing but this whole couponing thing is making my eyes cross from trying to figure it out.

            • BaggysWife

Charitable organizations will write a receipt for the worth of what you donate. Here in upstate SC, the faith home will ask what you consider the worth to be. The food bank doesnt ask. They just decide what the worth is and write a receipt for that. I haven’t ever seen anyone use their receipts from the store for charitable donations. You have to have the receipt from the organization to prove that it was donated. We dont itemize when filing but I keep all of our receipts and take them with us when we go. Its always a good idea to have them and ask your tax person if its beneficial.

            • Kit

Thanks for answering my question. The local charity I coupon for does not (and will not) fill in the value of the goods donated. They just note that you brought in one bag of clothing, one box of household items, etc.

            • gingerinCA

To all the above commentary- I looked up the amount you can deduct a few years ago. (We always itemize for the mortgage interest deduction, despite our low interest rate, since we are in a VERY high-cost housing market.) I’m about 85% sure there is language in the tax code that says you can NOT legally deduct more than you what you paid for an item. Of course, nowhere does it clarify whether the value of any coupons would be considered part of what you paid. :)

            • penny

I, too, used to work as a preparer years ago, I am a business owner with a very complicated return, and in many years, I could buy a small house with what they extort from us in taxes. I figure out the ins/outs and try to scratch every legal deduction I can find us, we pay and pay and pay. We’ve had over 30k in medical bills for each of multiple years and it barely makes a dent, it is all subject to 7.5% of your gross income, then it gets added on the sch a, along with mortgage interest, and unless you have a ridiculously high interest rate and high payment (which most don’t at 3.5% mortgages these days), even adding in state taxes. The difference it makes on ours is minimal. Like I said, I make very few charitable donations anymore, I just give to family and extended family/friends, at least that way I know where my donations are going. I know plenty of people who need toiletries, razors, household products, grocery items, etc. If you want to donate to feel good or to somewhere you know where it is going, have at it. I was just saying don’t look for it to be a big help on your tax bill.

            • anon

If you actually acquired the items for free using coupons, would it really be honest to claim the value of the item as a deduction? I mean, if you didn’t actually spend that money out of your income, how can you consider it a deduction in your taxable earnings?

            • BaggysWife

Its not about how much you spent, but the value of what is donated. It all comes down to what you want to do in the end. I am by no means telling anyone to itemize. Just telling how it can be used.

      • tori729

Yeah they’ve definitely been sparser lately. I actually can find a lot of things I need this week… but it looks as if all the coupons are gone for them. :/

    • Terry

No Purex crystals coupon. Maybe on specific zip codes?

    • Christina

Does anyone know the zipcode for Clean N Clear??

    • ndidlake

On the All b1g1 deal, limit two, does that mean you can do the buy one get one 2 times and get 4 total?

      • stacy

in one transaction, you should be able to do a second transaction

        • Tracy

          So a total of 4?

          • BlueWaterGirl

Usually if it says “limit 2” it means deals. For instance if it the deal was buy 3 get $$$$, limit 2, you could end up with 6 products.

    • Jreece

For goodness sake, on the nature made deal, she doesn’t say to use TWO of the $10 off Q’s. look at it. BUY 2, use a $10 off and 2-$3 off. For a total of $16 off.

      • grnacrz

I can’t find the $10 coupon on the CVS website. Any hints??

        • Melissa Jones Rabon

its gone, it was only there a couple of days last week!

      • cc

NO, that was last week she said to use two.

      • Amanda Bater Thomas

If you read the small print on the CVS $10 coupon, you can only use one per customer.

      • mrn1

It was last week’s match-ups/scenarios and yes, she did have to use two of the $10 CVS coupons, but changed it.

    • JulieA

I had a great deal at CVS this past week. I had $10 of Extra Care Bucks and they had 2 liter Cokes on sale for 99 cents each. If you bought $15 of Coke products, you got $5 back in Extra Care Bucks. SO I bought 15 2 liter Cokes for basically ZERO money. Cool!

    • JulieA

I can’t find the L’Oreal Miracle Blur coupon on the CVS site. Is it only for certain locations?

      • I have one I’m not going to use if you’d like to trade. I am ISO the $1 off Clean & Clear.

    • grnacrz

I can’t find the $10 nature made coupon on the CVS website. Help!!

      • I’m copying this from another thread I posted to earlier – hope it helps!

To avoid issues with the $10 vitamin coupon, just sign up for the CVS “Diabetes Care” newsletter! You will get future similar coupons directly to your email AND you can print a $10 coupon that is actually tied to your CVS card.

To sign up, go to CVS(dot)com, hold your mouse over “Pharmacy” at the top, then “Health Information” on the left. You should see a “Join Now” button under the heading “Extra Care Advantage for Diabetes”. Once I signed up the $10 coupon appeared under the “What’s New” tab of the EC Diabetes page.

      • I can’t seem to get it to paste here, but I posted instructions on the CVS thread, in the post specific to the vitamins.

        • canes1999

can you send a link to my email for the coupon? family members do use that mini vitamins and i was too late to print it :(

          • It looks like it is gone completely! Sorry. :(

      • stacy

        I think its gone now

      • Juan Grande

One thing I noticed in my local store about these items is that they are not placed or stacked together. So have a look around at the entire vitamin spread — I found three different types in three different, far-flung locations.

        • Lexi

Well, if you did not notice, they are “far-flung” because they are different vitamins for obviously different needs. So the Omega-3 vitamins are going to be where the other branded Omega-3s are, same with Vitamin B. Also, The multi vitamins are going to be across the aisle with the rest of the multi vitamin brands. They put like with like.

          • mary

While I am sure you were trying to really be helpful, your comment came across as being really rude. I just thought I would let you know so that in the future you might possibly reread your post to make sure you are saying what you want to say, but in a constructive way. HTH! Have a great day!

          • Juan Grande

I was just trying to offer a little bit of help to shoppers because vitamins are often grouped by brand — such as Natures Blend or Sundown. Whereas these Full Strength Minis are not. They are scattered. Your response was unnecessarily discourteous. Whatever the cause of your anger, it does not need to be directed at me.

            • Kelly

I agree. Everytime I have ever shopped for vitamins, they have always been grouped by brand too, not by what they are used for. Thanks for your help Big John . :)

What is the zip on the All coupons? Cant find them anywhere

      • mcleodsc

All cpns on their facebook page

    • happyfeet

is anyone realizng that cvs stores the employees and mangers are becoming meaner and less patient and just down right rude all of a sudden … especially in the west palm florida area

      • Lex

Probably because some people do not know how to coupon or they take are dishonest when couponing. Or maybe because some couponers hold up the line because they do not have everything ready and they do too many transactions which keeps people behind them from checking out.

      • CVS Employee

That’s because couponers are getting out of control. Especially the ones that come in with multiple cards, wanting to do multiple transactions, being unorganized, and coming in at the busiest time of the day! It needs to stop or CVS will make it impossible to coupon there. Haven’t you noticed that in the past few months the sales have not been nearly as good as they used to be? CVS does not make money off of couponers, and if they are going to continue to take advantage of the system and the employees working there, couponing will not be possible at CVS.

        • tj

CVS gets reimbursed for every manufactorer coupon. Sometimes my cvs will reduce the coupon and not write the true value on it so they get reimbursed the max value, eventhough they didn’t give the max value to the customer. I don’t see how you can say cvs doesn’t make money off of couponers. Why would they advertise coupons in their ads if they weren’t looking for our business?

          • Kelly

TJ, you are absolutely correct that CVS gets reimbursed for the coupons we use. And I haven’t yet had a store not give me the max value of a coupon although I have seen some people post this about shopping at Dollar General. Shady.. Maybe they need to get called out on it.

CVS store employee – And most couponers have their stuff together and try to be ready when they get to checkout and are mindful of other customers in line. But you know what, we’re all human. If it takes an extra 15 seconds, so what!
You get PAID to work at CVS along with all the other employees. Nobody is taking advantage of you. The employees just need to be respectful of the customers and do their job with a smile and a thank you to all the customers who shop at CVS and help keep them employed….. with or without coupons.

        • penny

          Dear CVS Employee,

As both a customer and a STOCKHOLDER in CVS, I find it ridiculous that you say they aren’t making any money on us couponers! Yes, I am one of those who has multiple cards. I coupon to supply our home of two, but also help out a few other individuals and families with the items I purchase. My couponing is a hobby of sorts for me. I enjoy hunting bargains and buying the items that couponing affords me to purchase for my group of people. For every dollar I “save” I also drop off prescriptions totalling in the THOUSANDS every year for me & my husband. The last batch I picked up was nearly $200.00 so I don’t feel bad for the company. If you had bothered to look at your own company sales reports, you too, would realize that it has the largest market share and a huge bottom line so I promise you, we’re not putting them out of business.

I try, whenever possible, to go at what I feel will be a slow time, but I have no way of knowing when it will actually be busy since I don’t work there. I also try to let others go around me so as not to hold up someone with one or two items when I have multiple transactions, and while this is polite, it isn’t a requirement. At what point do I let people go and when do I just bite the bullet and go ahead with my transactions? They can wait just as well as I can, and while I’m sure they have places to go, I too, would like to complete my purchases and get home.

You are on the clock, so to speak, and are being paid the same if I have one transaction or fifty, so it really shouldn’t matter to you how many I have or if it takes me ten minutes or an hour and ten minutes, you are going to be there for 4 hours or six hours or eight hours anyway!

          • talulah

The CVS Extracare card has a limit of one per household. Before I started couponing a few years ago, I got in line behind some couponers that did transaction after transaction-really just 3-4, but enough that it took forever. When I began couponing, I vowed never to do multiple transactions if there was anyone in line behind me. It is just the courteous thing to do. To each his own.

            • penny

Like I said Talulah, I “TRY” to be courteous and will typically do a few transactions, leave the store and go put my purchases in the car, come back and try to go up when no one is in line. But trying to stay organized with multiple transactions/rolling bucks when you have to move things, step aside let someone go so they can get to the cc machine, then move stuff back can be disorienting when trying to calculate purchases & bucks. I will typically let one, maybe two go ahead. After that, if it is THAT busy, they need to open another register or they can wait a couple 3 to 5 minutes while I finish up. I am ALWAYS courteous when I can be and always nice to the clerks and most are nice, there is one old mean goat at the store, but the rest are friendly.

          • Rebecca

            Penny, you can’t be serious.

            1. Yes, it does matter if you do 3 or 4 transactions and hold the line up. While it’s true that an employee is working their shift and will spend the same amount of time at the register regardless of how long you hold the line up, you obviously have failed to take into account what happens when you leave. When you hold the line up these customers are often extremely rude to the cashier when it finally is their turn. So many coupon people (which, I am myself as well as a former CVS empoyee) are quick to point out when a cashier is rude to them, or doesn’t accept their coupon, etc yet something as simple as letting other customers go ahead of them is like a foreign concept. In my many experiences in dealing with a rude couponer, they would hold the line up with their multiple transactions and then leave the store…and for the next 15 minutes I had to fight to get the line down and take care of my other customers while dealing with snide remarks about how we need to open another register or hire more people and just general rudeness from them.

            2. I LOVE when customers just say ‘open another register”. You do realize that 9 times out of 10 if we COULD open another register, we would…right? What cashier wants to purposely hold a line up, and create a situation where people are pissed because they have to wait? Many, many times the store is short staffed…take that up with the store manager or the district manager, not a cashier.

Many times I can see the argument from both sides…like i said, I worked at CVS for several years and I am a couponer. I really just cannot stand it when people try to put all the blame on an employee. Take responsibility! YES, it is a job, people are working there to get paid but please remember that I would never go to your job and berate you, tell you that you are wrong or just generally be a jerk because I “think’ i am right.

Also, I’m really not sure what you being a stockholder has to do with anything. Do you think that entitles you to hold up the line???

Lastly, seeing as how you cannot even follow the basic rule of one card per household, I’m not sure why you feel you are right to begin with. :)

        • cc

I agree completely with every single word of your statement CVS Employee!!!! I have been couponing for a few years now and can honestly say I have seen things changing majorly-the coupon values aren’t as good, the sales aren’t as good, couponing limits and wording is changing. Those of us that rely on couponing to provide for our family’s needs are being hurt while those that coupon to feed some sort of addiction, to get a rush or to “donate” to others are making it more difficult for us that NEED to coupon to provide for our family and pay our bills. There is no excuse for rudeness from a CVS employee, however.

      • Tara Kinman

I went today, and was super nice, but when I handed the cashier my coupons, she almost didnt want to take them because she said they looked like i photocopied them. I printed them off my computer, with a color printer. Just bought one of the Brother printers this morning, so maybe they wont look so photocopied now. But you could see the ink soaked into the paper. That they were not fake. I tried to just be nice and understand that she was doing her job. But she kept bring it up everytime I would hand her another coupon. I even made sure to move when people came up behind me to the back of the line and everything.

        • Chloe

Each coupon you print will have a different number on it. If they keep making an issue of it, tell them to look at the different numbers so they can be sure they’re not copied.

      • Guest

I have noticed it at one I frequent. They Look at me like oh ” you again.” Not pleased and I have sent compliments for them in the past.

      • Me-in-NC

The employees at the Davidson, NC CVS are great! Everyone I deal with there celebrates with me and my savings. I was just there two weeks ago, and the young woman who helped me said “Wow. That’s the way to do it!” Maybe it helped that I was organized and didn’t hold anyone up.

      • ireneY

At my closest store, the they have informed me that corporate has cracked down on employees’ accuracy with coupon acceptance. While they are still cordial, if not overly cautious, any coupon that generates a beep will not be accepted. I have been a good customer there for years, but do not get the benefit of the doubt anymore. I now drive a few more miles to the next store, which doesn’t seem to have a negative attitude towards coupons.

    • Juan Grande

Any chance the Clean and Clear will count as a “cosmetic” for purposes of that CVS coupon?

      • Juan Grande

The answer to this question is no.

However, I also learned that the $3/15 cold/flu coupon does count against an allergy med.

      • Scarlett

There is a $4 off any $10 facial care purchase when I log into my CVS account. It might be worth checking to see if you have one available for your account.

        • Kit

Ah! I didn’t think to check there, Scarlett. Thanks. Alas, my coupon is $4 off $20. Not as great a deal.

    • maggie

I went to my CVS and I don’t see in there add where they have the $4 ECB WYB (3) 7UP, Canada Dry, A&W, or Sunkist Sodas, 12 oz, 12 pk., $3.33. Is it in anyone elses add?

      • VP22

I’m in AL and it is in my ad on page 2

        • maggie

I am in SC and it isn’t there, but I thought all states had the same adds but might just have different coupons?

          • VP22

I think, for the most part, they are the same but there are times when a few of them vary.

            • maggie

oh well I was so embarrassed I went to get that deal and
it wasn’t on my add, guess I know better next time.

            • VP22

Use this as a guide but always double check your ad.

            • maggie

Clean & Clear is even a better deal if you add a 20% coupon to the mix. I also bought 2 Loreal Preference hair colors; used 2 $1 off any haircolor from the redbox and 2 $3 off 1 mfg coupons a few weeks ago. There is also a $5 off any 2 Loreal hair color coupon in today’s paper if you don’t like Preference. I purchased other items (Miracle Whip, Sparkle, etc) and made out great. Don’t have the exact breakdown, but walked out with $10 ECBs from the Clean & Clear and $4 ecbs from the Loreal Haircolor).. What seemed like a slow week actually turned out pretty great.

I noticed on my receipt that the John Freida deal from last week carried forward to this week, so this may be a monthly deal.

      • Guest

Usually the tags that are white with the deal are month long. Others for the week are yellow.

        • Juan Grande

The original for my local flier was “select” Freida items (@ $8) and Curel/Jergens/Biore.(@ $6) Has anyone put this to the test this week?

Feb. 14 I shopped CVS and received 12.50 in ECB’s. I have lost the receipt. Is there any way to avoid losing the 12.50? I called the number on my card and was told by two people that only quarterly bucks can be reissued. The store manager told me the same thing.

Hello ladies, I don’t see anyone mentioned it here, so I’m adding.

L’oreal cosmetics deal you can use CVS coupon from the red machine that was printing everyday last week :”$4 off $12 cosmetics purchase”.
This week I got “$6 off $30 cosmetics” coupon.
      I bought nail polish $6.49 – $1 coup and lip balm $8.49 -$1 coup=
      5.49+7.49- 4=8.98 got back 5ECB, $4 for 2 items.
the deal didn’t work when initially I bought lip balm for $8.29 +nail polish for $6.29 in another store !!! I had to to return the nail polish and get another lipstick for 8.29 !!! 16.58-4-2=10.58- 5ECB=5.58 for 2 balms.

ALSO $5 CVS coupon for Miracle Blur printed TWICE this week.
      19.99 – 5 – 3 -4 = 8 goes as $20 towards $30 for 10 ECB.

      Hope it helps

This is definitely not the same ad we have in our local CVS. There are several differences.

      • bethmgriffith

Agree! In Lancaster, SC Sunkist, 7-up, A&W, etc rang up $5.29 with no ECB. In our store Coke Products were on sale. Reminder to check the flyer when the product is not marked! Sometimes the products are not marked in my area because the staff hasn’t gotten to it yet….

    • CVS dot com and the red box are printing coupons that match nicely with this week’s deals. I got:
$3 off $15 vitamins, to use with Nature Made
$2 off $5 Feminine Hygiene or Sanitary Protection, to use with the Poise or Always deals
$4 off $20 Facial Skin care (wondering if the Clean & Clear counts?)

      • LuvthisStuff

I have yet to get any good Coupon out of the Red machine in the past 6 months. Good coupons just stopped coming all the sudden…

Not seeing where you purchased the 4 ct. cartridges to be able to use the $10 off for the Mach3/Fusion.? Was it the Gillette Women’s? I’ve been looking for a good scenario for the Gillette…

        • tori729

She bought 2 of the women’s sensor excel cartridges.

Found a great little Bodywash Deal today located on the bottom shelf in body wash section… “healing Cherry Blossom Rice Mile Cashmere Body Wash” Marked down 75% off $7.99 to $1.97. Plus red machine printed out a $2.50 off cpn for $5 of Soap. So these 3 ended up costing $3.41 instead of regular price of $23.97.

    • heather

Hi, My CVS does not have the $4 ECB on 7up, sunkist products… anybody else, is it regional?

      • couponmama3

It wasn’t in my ad either…all were regular price at my store in NC. Must be either regional or an error?

    • ScubagirlKim
