When I log into my Extra Care account online, I have a store coupon for $15 off Physicians Formula Facial Care (expires 6/30/12). That makes the gas card a sweet deal. Over the past several weeks I’ve been receiving either a $4 off $10 or $20 purchase of cosmetics/beauty products from the coupon machine! I hope I get another one this week :-)

      Let me see the comments!

    • I never see comments about the Scott toilet paper deal. In my opinion, 40 cents for a roll with 1000 sheets is a great deal! I always load up on TP and paper towels when they do this deal. I roll my ECB’s and end up paying $50 (before coupons) for a half year’s worth of paper towels, toilet paper, and dish liquid. If I have coupons, it’s closer to 30 or 40. Not bad, in my opinion.

      • Diana

I don’t think people realize how awesome the Scott tp is! A roll of cotonelle or angel soft will be gone in a day around here but the Scott will go 3-4 days!

        • I agree!  My kids were going through the nicer tp like crazy.  I switched to Scott in our main bathroom and it lasts so much longer.  My hubby and I still have Cottenelle in our bathroom though!

        • Mary

It lasts because it feels like sandpaper! LOL “ouch” j/k

      • They always have great deal on their toilet paper… BUT it is terrible toilet paper in my opinion… it’s like public restroom TP… super thin :( My parents like it though! I guess it just depends on you :)

        • That’s the plain kind. If you get extra soft, it is much better. I used to use the regular one and then got hooked on extra soft. I can’t go back now, lol.

The magic coupon machine printed out a $1 coupon on any deodorant today and good until July 6th.

    • soundring

On the CVS website, if you click “send to card” for a coupon, does that mean that it will print when you scan your card at the coupon machine, or will it deduct when you ring up?

      • VP22

The coupon machine will print out one that says “this amount” has been sent to your card. When they ring up your purchase they will then ask you if you wanna use the discount.

      • It is supposed to be added directly to your card.  When you check out using that card it should be taken off.  I did have a problem with a percent off coupon when I sent it directly to my card.  It may have been my error though.  The cashier will sometimes ask if you want to use it when it is a percent off coupon.

    • Erin B

Is the $10 Huggies considered a sale price so I wouldn’t be able to use the %off coupon I got in my email today?

      • Stacyannw

it is a sale price, i thing the normal price is like 11.99 a pack

        • marysc

The normal price in Charleston is now 13.99!!!!!!

    • guest

In regards to the diaper deal (buy $30, get $10 ECB) can this be done in separate transactions or does this have to be all together? (typically, the cvs coupons beep when used with another cvs coupon. so if done separately, no beeping)

      • Stacyannw

you can do it in separate transactions

      • marysc

Yes, you can.  But I have never had a cashier not override the beep!

        • guest

          thanks!

    • The magic coupon printer is printing $2 off New Organix Body Wash or Body Lotion this week. It printed one for me yesterday when I was there and one for me today as well that will go good with the $5 ecb wyb $10 Organix body lotion, wash or shampoo. The coupon does not include the shampoo… but still a good coupon to try to get :)

    • Olaughlincathy

Does CVS accept wic? I get Gerber formula…wonder if that could work for free ecb

      • Guest

I know that you cannot get the gift card promotions for the pharmacy if you have state/government funded insurance, so you probably cannot get ecb with state/government funded formula i would guess.  Sorry

        • Guest

i work for WIC and i would say that as long as you can get your formula there then you qualify for that stores promotions! CVS is giving out the gas card. same with BOGO items- if you are shopping at publix and peanut butter is BOGO you get 2- AND you can get the honey nut variety for your free one as it does not have to be WIC approved. its a STORE promotion so the store is eating the cost of it, not your WIC checks :)

          • NiaLee

I agree, I used to work for the federal agency that adminsters WIC. The stores consider WIC as currency, any store funded promotions are separate and apart from your government benefits.

      • Jessica

In my area, you cannot use WIC checks at CVS. Your local health department (wherever you were approved for WIC) should have a list of approved retailers. My area only allows grocery stores…probably because drug stores tend to cost more when things aren’t on sale.

Our CVS in central florida does accept WIC.  And stores that accept WIC are REQUIRED to give the same sales/rewards/promotions that are offered to WIC customers also.  You’ll just have to make sure your checks are for the 23.5 oz size… since it doesn’t look like the smaller sizes typical of WIC checks are included.

I have some Gerber formula coupons if you want them.  My daughter is 16 months now and hasn’t used formula in forever, but Gerber keeps sending my coupons.  I also have some similic coupons.  Email me at shoppersaver1212@gmail.com if you want any of these.  I’d be happy to mail them to you!

Am I overlooking the Pantene deal? 2/6.97 w/$3 ECB?

      • Sandra

I think what the ad says is a $3.00 coupon  will be in Sundays paper, not ECB

        • Brandylewis01

I got my papers today and there is a 3.00/2 off pantene coming this Sunday.

          • Howard

            You’re right. It’s a $3/2 coupon, not ECB.

I received a $2/2 CVS coupon last week. I’m thinking of making the trip just for shampoo.

    • Wethedeans

Quick question, if I have a raincheck from one cvs, can I go to another cvs to use it?

      • Sandra

         YES

        • Wethedeans

          Thanks!

    • Brandylewis01

Got my coupons from todays paper that will be the same as this Sundays. There is another get one free any Good and Natural bar.

    • mrn1

Just read CVS newest coupon policy…I’ve been told several times over the past couple of months they won’t take coupons with any other retailer’s name on it even if it says it is a manufacturer coupon…now I see it is actually in their corporate policy that they will not take a manufacturer’s coupon with another retailer’s logo.  Jenny’s link above for their policy is invalid.  Target also put out a new policy last week.  Thought y’all may want to read them so fewer surprises at the register.

      • Maria

Where were you able to find a copy of the new policy?

        • mrn1

Look at CVS dot com under help and FAQs…their are couponing questions and under one of those questions is a link to the coupon policy.  Sure would be nice if some of these bloggers would post coupon policy changes, especially since they tell us it is OK to use a MQ with another retailer’s name as long as it doesn’t say “redeemable ONLY at.  CVS won’t allow coupons with another retailer’s logo and Target is only allowing 4 like coupons per transaction , but I haven’t seen anyone but KCL and Kerry @ TT post about Target and I haven’t read a single post about CVS changing that portion of their official policy.

          • smash

I’d suggest you drop a note to Jenny to let her know, rather than grouping her and “some of these bloggers” as all knowing/all seeing people.

            • mrn1

I did not say she is all knowing/all seeing.  I do know that she runs a blog with an enormous following and the information has not been put out there about the newest policies.  She has in the past given new policy information, but for some reason hasn’t this time. t am simply trying to help people not get stuck at the register wondering why their coupons are refused.

            • Laura R

              BTW…EVERYONE REMEMBER SHE IS PREGGERS!

            • Guest

Being pregnant is not an excuse. I hate that people blame being pregnant for not being able to do things such as their job or paying attention. That is just an excuse.

            • Guest

I meant that people use being pregnant as an excuse for not doing things that they are in fact able to do. People get so lazy and blame it on being pregnant.

            • guest

And how many children do you have?

            • Littlerubyslipper

As a six week 4th time mom I can say that is an absolutely insane statement.  There is a difference between being lazy just because, and being so tired, nauseated and hormonal that you cannot function at your highest capacity due to your body working overtime to BUILD ANOTHER LIFE inside.  It takes a lot out of you.  I worked up until my children were born, however, not everyone can do that.  It is much worse 4th time around and with being older.  All said, wouldnt trade it, but please dont blanket “pregnant = lazy”. Not right.

            • NiaLee

When you start writing her checks for posting match ups and deals on this website then you can make such blatantly ignorant comments. It’s obvious that you have never been pregnant or you wouldn’t say such things.

          • Guest

One of the problems with the SS database is that it doesn’t have that sort of information on the coupons in the database.  So, when a coupon even looks like it “might” be a close match for the ad match-up, it gets thrown up as a match.  Trying to get down to the gnat’s-behind detail of what type of store name might be printed on the coupon so that it can be excluded from the match-up is going to be impossible.

And, yes, there is the blue “report coupon errors or additions” box but unfortunately it can take many days for the error/addition to occur (sometimes errors aren’t corrected for the full length of the sale).

The solution?  Haven’t a clue.  Maybe CVS covered the new policy when they brought some of the top bloggers to CVS HQ.  If not, perhaps it’s up to customers to bring it up to the attention of CVS so they can get the big bloggers all on the same page when it comes to having correct CVS coupon policy on their blogs and making sure that recommended coupon match-ups don’t violate CVS coupon policy.

            • mrn1

There definitely is no way in the match-ups to prevent coupons with logos of other retailers unless they are reported or she personally views each of them.  With as big a business as this site is, I am sure there is no way she could look at each and every one.  It then falls to us, as honest couponers to look at the coupon and read the details to see if they are truly matches and truly appropriate for use at CVS (does it say Manufacturer Coupon, but have  WalMart written on it?) I believe the solution is everyone knowing the CVS policy.  Simple as that.  The rest is up to us to use our coupons appropriately.  I did not post any of this to disrespect Jenny.  I am posting in hopes of helping everyone, since it is apparently not common knowledge.

            • renamac

you know you could forget this and all other very helpful websites and do all the work yourself. Geeze the website and coupon matchups is a free service to you how can you complain about free period !

          • Maria

Thank you. :)  I wonder if they also included the “word of mouth” change by corporate, that on a B1G1 50% off promotion, the B1G1 MQ will take off the item marked as the 50% off.  I remember one of the other responders bring this up before, but, I trying to see if they put it on the policy, too.

            • mrn1

I didn’t see that in the policy.  That is actually why I was looking at their policy to start with.  It is not worth it to me to go pay a higher price for the mascara if I will only get the 1/2 price one free when I could just go to WalMartt and get it much cheaper to start with.  In reading the newest policy, I just found it interesting that they had the part about MQs with another retailer’s logo and wanted to share.  Hope I helped!

          • Zeb

can’t believe Target has had the need to limit to 4 like coupons.  They hardly have any good deals, so I can’t see anyone doing heavy couponing there.

            • mrn1

I agree…haven’t shopped at Target in a long time.  Between Publix and CVS, I get pretty much everything I need.

      • couponer

I was just looking over the coupon policy  and saw that it says,
Coupons cannot be applied to a “free” item.  So does this mean the razor or mascara deal that many of us did within the past few weeks using 1 b1g1 and 1 $$off coupon is not allowed? Or does it just apply to free items that CVS are offering b1g1. I’m thinking by the way it is worded it’s not allowed in either scenario.

        • mrn1

I just looked at the CVS policy on their site again…I don’t see anything about not accepting coupons on a free item.  Maybe I am blind.  I know it is Target and Publix policy that you can’t do that, but I am not seeing that wording in the CVS policy. The main difference I see is the fact that they won’t accept MQx with another retailer’s logo.  I think we all already knew they were devaluing coupons and not giving overage.

          • angeleen

I went to CVS’s website and under F&Q I found it under the second question:

Does CVS allow more than one coupon to be used per transaction.

            A. Yes. CVS/pharmacy allows ONE CVS/pharmacy and ONE third party manufacturer coupon per item. A transaction is defined as the entirety of purchases on a single receipt. ExtraBucks® Rewards coupons can be applied toward the final cost. Normal exclusions apply. See the bottom of the ExtraBucks® Rewards coupon for details.Note: Coupons cannot be applied to a “free” item.

I just noticed this last night.

            • mrn1

Thanks angeleen.  That is interesting that they threw in that last sentence/note with the rest of that info.  It doesn’t really seem to fit there, but whatever their policy is, I know I LOVE CVS.  You can’t beat their customer service!

            • angeleen

I love CVS too. It kind of threw me off as well. I was just wondering if it was something new or something I just hadn’t seen.

            • mrn1

Not sure how new.  That’s why I posted about the main Policy.  I figured if I didn’t know about it and I couldn’t find the links to it from my favorite blogs, then it must be pretty new.

        • Nevermind…

        • mrn1

angeleen pointed out to me the portion you were talking about.  Those words are not in the official policy, just on the FAQs about their policy.  Confusing.  Sounds as though it is not “legal” in either scenario?  Maybe we can get clarification soon?

      • jennaj81

the manager at my store told me to cut off the other retailer’s logo (if possible) and they will take it. the reason is that CVS will not be reimbersed for the coupon, the other store will (even though CVS sent it in, seems silly to me).

      • Soberkitty

Could you post a link to it? can’t find it anywhere.

link won’t post.  Go to CVS dot com and scroll to bottom.  Under Help, click contact us.  The first line is CVS Customer Service and has FAQs underneath-click that. You will see al list of FAQs.  The policy is the 4th one down, but as someone else pointed out, there are some coupon questions/answers posted in the FAQs also. HTH

If you use coupons while purchasing the $30 worth of baby items will the coupons prevent you from reaching the $30 and getting the ECB?  In other words, do the coupons count after you reach your $30 goal to get the ECB?

        No.

I need dish soap…Anybody no when it is gonna go on sale again? I hate to pay full price and I let my stock get too low  :(

      • Sheila_P

I don’t know what you consider sale prices, but here are some CVS options.

        1. w/e 6/23, the Gain is included in the $10 ECB wyb $30 in some areas and the price ranges from .88 to .99 each and there are $1/2 or $.50/1 coupons out there from PG 6/3.
        Buy 30 @ .99 each
use 15 – $1/2 Gain from PG 6/3 (Maria is right, you can only use 4 coupons per transaction, so you’ll have to break up the purchases. CVS will track it on your receipt)
        Receive $10ecbs
Net $4.70 or 16 cents each. (this deal ends today if it’s available at your store.

        2. w/e 6/30, the Palmolive is included in the gas card deal
        Buy 30 @ .99 each
        Receive $10 gas card
Net $19.70 or 66 cents each.  (I’m not aware of any coupons for this size, but you could always use a $/$$ if you have it)

I personally would not purchase that many because it’s more than a couple years supply at my house, but you can always mix and match with other items in the promotions to still get the net price/bottle.  HTH

        • Maria

P&G states you can only use 4 like coupons in same transaction/shopping trip.

Just got my P&G rebate in the mail! Very excited it came in time for the next one which starts July 1st!

      • Jordynsmommy

Do u know what the next one is on, or can u post a link to the form? I LOVE P&G rebates!!! Thank you so much!

        • Sheila_P

I think it’s a $10/$50 Olay rebate. The form isn’t out yet but it’s advertised in the 7/1-7/3 CVS ad. I love these rebates too and I already know what I’m going to get for it.

    • Coupongal18

Here’s what I did tonight with the new ad that starts tomorrow:

      Transaction 1:
      (2) Colgate Sensitive Toothpaste on CLEARANCE for $4.86 each so a few cents cheaper than advertisted!!!
      Used (2) -$0.50/Colgate
      -$2.00 any toothpaste CRT
      Total: $7.12 (including tax)
      Got back $8 ECB!

      Trans 2:
      (3) Pampers Diapers $10.00
      Used: -$5/$15 purchase (expires today)
      (3) -$1.50/Pampers
      -$8ECB (Trans 1)
      -$10 ECB (last week)
      Total: $2.62 got back $10ECB!!!
So, Total OOP: $9.74 and Left with $10ECB – so, got paid 26 cents to take it out of the store!!! I love CVS!!!!!!

    • wstrait432

How do you get the John Frieda full repair coupon?  I went to the web site clicked on special offers there is not a coupon there also signed up for the newsletter, and they didn’t send me a coupon.

    • Cindy

Okay…please someone post where they are finding the PG coupons on the product!   Last time this happened they were on batteries.  Are they still on the batteries?

    • how do u send a coupon to my cvs card, can u walk me thru it plz

      • VP22

Ok, let’s say CVS sends you an email that says, save $5/$20. When you open it, it will usually say, save in-store or online. Click the part that says in-store. Once you click it, you are usually given the option of printing it or sending it to your card. You click send to card and it should tell you that it has been sent to your card. Once you go into the store and scan your card at the red machine you should also get a printout that says $5/$20 was sent to your card on this date and it expires on that date.

      • MappKidsSave

When you log into the Extra Care section of the CVS website it will give you the option to either print or send the coupon to your card

      AM I MISSING SOMETHING?

On the ECB deal for the Gillette ProGlide or Power Fusion Razor, wouldn’t it make more sense to use the P&G Buy One Gillette Fusion Cartridge, get a Free Gillette Fusion Razor?

      • Jordynsmommy

well, the cartridges are approx $14 so u would be paying $24 minus the free razor $10 =$14, minus the ECB’s back of $4 = $10 for both or $5 each.  I guess she is saying $2 for razor alone is better deal…

        • Seymore

          But the suggested coupon says…

-$3 off Gillette Fusion ProGlide razor WYB Fusion Proglide cartridge or disposable, excl trial sizes, SS 6/17

So you have to buy a cartridge to get the discount anyway.  But instead of getting a discount of $9.99 (the cost of the razor), you get a discount of $3.00.  That’s why it doesn’t make sense to me.

    • MomOf2!

Is anyone else doing the Huggies diaper/pull-ups deal?  The coupons from the Huggies website for pull-ups says “One Coupon Per Purchase”, do I need to make two transactions if I am buying 2 packs of pull-ups?

Will the ECB still print if I do them in two transactions?  HELP!!!

      • Kleckie

that usually just means one coupon per item, but if you want to do them in different transactions you can. CVS is great about tracking how much you spend, you’ll just get your ECB on the last transaction.

        •  Ditto what she said. You can use 1 cvs coupon and 1 mfg coupon PER ITEM.  so if you have a CVS coupon and some ECB to use, you’d have to buy “fillers,” like candy, to use the ECB too. If you have 2 items, 2 mfg and 2 cvs Q (or 2 ECB) you’ll be fine to do it in one transaction.
If you still aren’t sure, they do keep track of your ECB spending on the bottom of your receipt.

          • Sheila_P

The great thing about CVS is that you don’t need fillers.  CVS treats ECBs as cash rather than coupons.  So you can buy one item, use one SQ and one MQ and as many ECBs as you have to pay for it.  I believe Walgreens is the only olace you need fillers.

      • MappKidsSave

I had to do two transactions bc the machine beeped when the cashier tried to scan the second CVS Pull-Ups coupon

I went shopping this morning and bought enough to get the gas card deal.  My total spending was $43 and only $30 needed for the gas card.  I thought it used to break up the total you spent and post it towards the next gas card reward.  Did I just lose the $13 overage towards the next card or does it need a day or so to update in their system? I hope this makes sense….thanks :)

      • Sandra

Generally it will update…takes time.  I have done 2 transactions and by the second one it has straightened out. HTH

    • For those who have gotten the Huggies/Pullups deal already, did you have a hard time getting all three packs for $10 each?  My ad says 2 for $20 and I have heard sometimes they will make you get both packs in order to get the sale price.

      • Coupongal18

I did the Pampers deal last night, which is the same way – they rang me up for $10.00 each – had no problem – I guess it would just depend on the cashier!!!!!

I am going to try this transaction this week for the gas card.

      Bought 1 Honeywell Tower Fan – $49.99
      Bought 1 outdoor blanket – $9.99
      Used 30% off
      Received $20 in gas cards.
Net $22 for the fan and blanket.  Not a bad price for a fan that I needed anyway.

If you still have a reinventing beauty magazine from Spring there is a $3 off Huggies diaper coupon in it. It expires on 6/30/2012 & is a manuf q.  I don’t know if it’s been mentioned on here already but thought I would share.

      • Anne

Hi!!  Just wondering where you got (2) of the Physicians formula coupons?  I was able to print one from the cvs site, but didn’t think it would let me print (2) and be able to use both?  Can I, or did you get them another way?  Thanks!!!

        • HeatherM221

did you purchase the pull ups in one transaction? just wondering because i was planning to do this deal . just kinda scared because the store q says limit one coupn per customer..

        • I went this morning and yes, they only took one CVS coupon per transaction.  It wasn’t a problem using 3 mfr coupons though.

        • Ekwacuka

Went to CVS yesterday and did 3 separate transactions for the Pull ups, was able to use 3 $2.00 CVS coupon & 3 $2.00 Man coupon. The $10 ECB printed on the third receipt.

      • NiaLee

I did the 30.00 get 10.00 ECB baby deal today but missed the store q  for pull-ups. Where did you get it? Did yours come from the MCM?

Head over to CVS’ website and click on In-store coupons.  The Store Qs for the Pull-ups should still be available.

    • Riner Ashley

I’ve got a ton of diapers for my upcoming baby in August, so I needed things like the breastpads and baby shampoo.  The breatpads are buy 2 for 11.00. I don’t know if they ring up at 5.50 each because I bought two. Also, the Johnson bedtime shampoo isn’t participating. Only the head to toe shampoo pumps at 2 for 11.00. Also, the Huggies wipes that are included aren’t 4.00, they’re 6.00 here. The deal I did went a little like this. I bought 2 boxes of breastpads, 2 bottles of the johnson’s head to toe wash pumps, a pack of Huggies wi[es and some salene nose stuff for 3.99 that was included. The only coupon I had was the .50 off the wipes. Not the best deal, but it’s all stuff I needed and I got 10.00 ecb. My deals here just haven’t been matching up like they usually do with southernsavers. hrmmmm. oh well…

Oh, I live just south of Atlanta, Georgia, hope that helps!

If you are looking for other baby items they had Aveeno baby diaper rash cream and Aveeno calming comfort lotion marked down to 75% off at my CVS.  They were only marked 25% off on the shelf though so you would want to scan them to be sure at your store!

    • ok, so i logged in to cvs.com trying to send coupons to my card but i just can’t get it, ok so i click in th box where it says clip coupon thre is no option to send the coupon to my card like 2 off huggies coupon. Can you help me plz. Anyone

      • Sandra

I dont think those are the coupons you can send to your card.  I believe the coupons are the ones in your ExtraCare account.  You can see these by logging in to your account.  If I am understanding you right!!! HTH

Just got back from CVS and found a few deals to share-Aveeno baby diaper rash cream and calming comfort lotion were both 75% off.  These were still only marked 25% off at my store but anytime the clearance price stays the same for more than a week I scan it just to check and they both came up 75% off today.  I also got to talking to the cashier when I checked out and she said they still had several of the “Jeans” Huggies in the back that she hadn’t had time to put out so I grabbed several of those as well (rang up 2.99 a pack, then used my 2.00 off coupons!).  Might be worth asking your cashier   if you don’t see any on the shelf just in case!

      • Oh, I wish I had seen this before I went to CVS this morning!  :)

Do coupons for “facial cosmetics” apply to eye shadow, and liner or is it just for things such as foundation

      • Maria

My CVS is coupon friendly, and I’ve never had a problem with the Revlon coupons.  I, also, feel that since your eyes ARE on your face, the coupon is applicable. lol.

I called Revlon about this and they consider foundation, concealer, power, etc as “facial cosmetics” and they classify pretty much everything else as “color cosmetics”.  Therefore, I would say that the “facial cosmetics” coupon would not apply to eye shadow and liner.

Holy moly!  Just had an amazing trip to CVS, and I won’t bore y’all with all the stuff ($70 of stuff for $9) but here is a deal you must try if you have the coups.

She said $70 dollars worth of stuff for $9 so I’m guessing she only told us about the make up deal.

        • Mclaughlin Rebecca

No add it up before coupons, 8.99 and 8.99 is 17.98 that does meet the $15 requirement. It’s your total before coupons!

    • Mary Laura

Please bear with me, I have multiple CVS questions. Do all CVS’s have a coupon center? Because unless they’re hidden really well, I don’t think the ones in my area do.
I was traveling and stopped at CVS yesterday and they did have a coupon center so I hit it. I noticed that this store (in Appomattox, Va.) had an ECB deal for Garnier Nutriesse haircolor and that they were on sale for $3.99!! I didn’t notice that listed in the ad and so I don’t know if that’s a deal unique to that store/area or is it’s just unadvertised (I haven’t had a chance to check out my own CVS) Has anyone else seen this deal?
When I got the coupons from the coupon center, I saw a couple my friend would like. But then I noticed they had my name on them. Does that mean I can’t give them to my friend so she can use them?
      Thanks.

      • Soberkitty

Your coupons can only be used with your card. The coupons that are generated are for you only. Unless of course your friend is willing to pay you back and then you can just get it for her when you’re there.

The CVS stores near me had the TMF labels on the products earlier this year, but they’ve been out for months.

        • Jhwh829

I might try to see if I can find some this week.. Good deal If you have ECBs and want the gas card…in my opinion. They have them at rite aid but they are tricky about there up rewards and coupons…

    • Yep

It AMAZES me how much time some of you people spend on here criticizing others.  Is life not too short?  I come out here a couple times a week to look for extra deals.  I appreciate all of you who take the time to post the deals that you are able to get.  However, I do not enjoy reading through the hog wash that some put out here to correct and demean others.  I don’t have have the time to sit and decipher through all of the negative comments.  Also, I don’t think it is very appropriate to criticize Jenny.  If you don’t like what you see on this sight, I highly recommend spending your time do something else.  Get a life!!!!

      • neda

I totally agree with you… I AM VERY THANKFUL for this site and the work that Jenny does.  I have never used a Q in my life until six months ago.. With this site not only have I learned how to save a ton of money but it also makes it sooooo easy.  I love reading the comments and getting tips but those of you that want to complain I strongly suggest you start you on site.  This site is intended to help others FOR FREE!! I have a lot of respect for Jenny she not only is a mother a wife but also a business owner with a moral compass. I cant imagine what its like for her to read your comments…. I am sure it really hurts her feelings.  I would like to see any of you complainers read negative things from people who dont even know you.  When all your trying to do is provide a FREE service that helps countless people.  I say Jenny you and your site are AWESOME! I love , love, love it! Thank you so much!

        • Soberkitty

Totally agree! I could never keep up with all that Jenny does for us, as a matter of fact the only reason I can get most of the deals I do is b/c of Jenny. My ADD would be the death of me trying to do this on my own.

        • RobinCoupons

          I’ll second that! Jenny ROCKS!!

      • Maria

100 x 100 times agree!!  Thank you for this comment.  Sometimes, some people need to get reminded that they can go somewhere else if they can’t appreciate this site.  I’m quite tired of sifting, myself.

We have so many new folks that see a scenario that they rush out to try only to be totally disappointed (and perhaps embarrassed) in the checkout when their totals are $$ more than planned.

A lot of times it’s because folks who post their fantastic money making shopping trips use ECBs they previously had but somehow totally discount them as a form of payment.  ECBs are a form of payment.  We sometimes forget that but they are.  And new folks don’t often have ECBs to start their scenarios.

So, when someone points out an error in another’s scenario, it’s not necessarily criticizing.  This is a deal site where there are are many folks trying to get the same deal.  They’ll rush to the store, hand over the coupons and wonder why their totals are $$ higher.  Those $$ can bust a budget.  In these times, those $$ are important!!  So, when someone says they got a money maker deal and someone points out it really wasn’t a money maker because they used ECBs to pay, it’s not criticizing.  It’s pointing it out so others don’t rush to the store to expect a MM deal.

    • Soberkitty

Okay so a little late to CVS this week but scored some awesome deals. I did the Organix body wash deal spend $10 get $5 ECB. Bought 2 body washes at $8.29 each. Then I had two separate Organix lotion or body wash coupons from the Magic box one $2 off and one for $3 off. Then I had a $5 and a $2 ECB that I used. Then as if it couldn’t get any better the cashier asks me “Do you want to apply your 30% off coupon that was downloaded to your card?” So a little confused I said “But I thought you couldn’t use a % off coupon with sale items.” He said that the system now allows for it. So I said “Sure.” Another $3.48 off! So OOP was $1.67 and I got back $5 in ECB to apply to my next order! So I made $3.33! I love CVS!

      • VP22

I think he was wrong about the 30% working on sale items though because the last one I had still said excludes sale items and clearance. I think it worked on the Organix because even though the Organix had ECB’s they technically were not on sale so that’s why you were able to use 30% off. I wish I had it. I have the 2 red machine q’s but not the 30%. You did awesome.

        • Soberkitty

OOOHHHH! Good thinking! That’s right they were normal price with the ECB’s back! Thanks got some other really great deals but this was close to being the best!

      • Sis2

Good deal, although you really didn’t “make” 3.33.  To figure out how much each item actually cost you, you either have to count your ECB’s at the time of purchase, or when you use them, but not both.  Using $7 in ECB, is like using money really.  You probably already counted those ECB you had when you bought the deal that earned them.  So the body wash cost 8.29 x 2 = 16.58 – 5 crt = 11.58 – 3.48 from the 30% off coupon  =  8.10 – 5 ecb  earned = 3.10 or $1.60 each.  Still a good deal.  I have to be careful not to count my ECB twice also.  You really get used to the “how much it cost” system when you use a spreadsheet.

        • Soberkitty

Right but you also forgot the $3.00 off and $2.00 off Organix coupons I had one for each. So I paid $1.67 OOP after taxes. Which was before the $5 ECBs I got back on my receipt. So it really was a money maker in this case. Cause I turned around and spent the $5ECBs on my next order.

          • Sis2

No, I included the $3 and $2 CVS coupons.  They are listed as minus 5 crt in the addition above.  So I still don’t think it was a money maker.  Sorry.  But if you feel like you made money, then I guess that is all that matters.

    • parrothead

My red machine gave me $1.50 off any deodorant today, used it on the 2/$8 Old Spice, plus got the $3 extra bucks back…..it was a good day!

    • Mclaughlin Rebecca

Ok maybe someone could help me figure this scenario out before I go. I have a bogo free covergirl mascara ,$1 off one,(I have a couple of these each coupons) Then I have a $3 of 10 in cosmetics, then I see that the covergirl is bogo 1/2 off ,no bucks back, but that’s ok I did’t with the razors and made out like a bandit,is thre a deal in here somewhere?

      • Sunshine

        Yes there is.

        Buy 2 Covergirl mascara 8.79 + 4.39 =13.18
        Use $3 off $10
Use B1G1 (they usually take off the full priced one)
        Use $1 off
Makes your total .39 plus tax. So you end up getting 2 mascaras for less than a $1

        • Allforthe4leggers

If they take full price off for the coupon. The max value was $7.50 on the coupon to begin with and some cashiers will apply the half off amount to the coupon. I used 4 of these earlier this month and only had them take off the full price amount once. Hopefully you get them to this time

      • Karen

The CoverGirl is part of the gas card deal starting Sunday and it will still be B1G1 1/2 off.  If your cvs q’s will last that long, try to hold out until then.  I see sweet deals next week with all of the q’s coming from that magic red machine!

Hi I need help printing the CVS coupon for Huggies Diaper.  Can someone please help. The link has pampers as printable but I don’t see huggies. Thanks in advance.  Please tell me the zip code used or how to print it thanks

      • Tristansmommy120910

I printed mine from cvs . Com and clicked the coupon tab.

    • Okay so at my store in FL there is a deal going on with the Garnier Hair color. They are on sale for $4.99 ea spend $15 get $5 ECB. Here’s what I’m thinking but I’m not sure if it will work. I want to use a few of the $2 off 5.99 + from last week…

      Buy 4 hair colors at 4.99 = 19.96
use 3 $2 off 5.99 + (because the 1 extra hair color will make my hair color total be high enough the use the coupons???)
use 4 $2 off man qs
use 2 $1 off Garnier printing this week
      = 3.96 get $5 ECB back

      Help?

      • jessica

i think you can just purchase 3 and the $5 ECB will trigger because its within 2% of the $15 required. You’ll only be able to use 2 of the $2 off 5.99, and 3 of the MQ’s but your OOP will be 2.97. A bit less OOP and still get the ECB. Altho a buck for the 4th is a pretty good price too :)

    • Maria

Scored big again at my local CVS.  But, I wanted to let you guys know for the $4 ECBs wyb $10 in Revlon Cosmetics, there are eye shadows on clearance for $1.25 each, originally $4.99 at my CVS.  I bought 4 of the $1.25  and 1 regular price at $4.99, total $9.99.  Enough to trigger the ECB.  I used 4 $2 Revlon MQ and the $3 off any Cosmetics from CRT, it applied $1.01 towards my transaction. Hope you find it! :)

    • Sr2384us

does anyone know the price of the Combos 7 oz. that are B1G1…I am in Alabama

    • I think I did pretty well this morning for a newbie!

Transaction 1: Two Colgate toothpastes using 50 cent coupons for each.  OOP $8.98, $8 ECB.

Transaction 2: 3 bags Pullups. They would only accept one CVS coupon, but paired with the 3 mfr coupons plus $8 ECB, I paid $14 OOP for the 3 bags with $10 ECB back.

Transaction 3: Decided to get another bag of Pullups to use my other CVS coupon plus another mfr coupon. Bought a hairbrush because my 2 year old has hidden mine somewhere, and let him pick out a candy.  Used my ECB to pay for it.

So total OOP $22.98 for 4 bags Pullups, one hairbrush, two tubes of toothpaste and a candy for my kid.

Thanks for all you do, Jenny!  (And to the other posters here who have helped!)

    • Can anyone tell me what the “over $22 in coupons booklet on product” means? I would really like to take advantage of the Crest toothpaste deal.
      Thanks!

      • Guest

I got these coupons in Charmin toilet paper I bought.

    • Laura C

Can anyone tell me if Neutrogena Kids Sun Care is included in the ECB deal?

      • Rubies20

        They are at my store

    • Sunshine

I have a question. How many store q’s can you use at a time?
Here is what I was thinking.
      Buying 5 Cover Girl Cosmetics
Using $5 of $15 Cover Girl CRT
Using $3 of $10 cosmetics CRT
      Using 2 $1 manufacture q’s
Using $3 off any purchase (I got in e-mail for my birthday last week)

Would I be able to use all those at the same time?

      • Sheila_P

If you are buying $25 worth of cosmetics in your transaction, you will be fine using all the coupons with no beeps.  If you only have $15 worth, one of the $/$$ will beep and YMMV whether the cashier will override it.

        • Anne

I’m kinda of asking for myself as well, but wondering why Sunshine would need $25.00?  I would think she would only need $15.00 since one coupon is specifically for cover girl, and the other is any cosmetics.  If she used the $5 off of $15 she would still have  $10 to use the other $3 on.  I actually have a $3 off $10 covergirl, and $3 off $10 cosmetics, and was hoping to use those with the BOGO lashblast mascara that is on sale BOGO half off. Don’t think it will work?

          • Poolside1

I sure hope it works!! I’m trying that same transaction myself in the morning. But I have a lot of other products to buy w/ coupons of coarse!!

          • Sunshine

I went in tonight and tired this out. I left my $5 of $15 at home but I got the $3 of $10 cover girl at the machine and $3 off $10 cosmetics and I was only able to use 1 of them. When the cashier tried to use both of them it beeped and she told me I was only able to use one of them. Kinda bummed about that.

            • Anne

That stinks!!!  I went today and was able to use both, but I did have over $20.00.  I was very suprised though that I was able to use those plus I had a $3.00 off suncare that I was able to use because I bought a physicians formula with SPF in it. So I ended up getting (2) lashblast mascaras, physicians formula foundation and eyeshadow with liner for $.06. Didn’t even need to use any ECB’s . I was very happy!!!!

    • RobinCoupons

Can someone please let me know if I were to spend $10 in Revlon products with several of the items marked “clearance”, will I get $4 back in ECB???

      • VP22

The ad does say, excludes clearance. I have read where some people say they have bought clearance and still got ecb but I have never had it happen.

        • Sheri Homestead

yesterday I found the Huggies slip ons (there are 66 diapers in each pack) on clearance from $23.99 to $5.99 – I used a $3 off Huggies from the reinventing beauty magazine and a $2 manuf coupon. – 0.99 for each pack !!!!! I …and on top of that since I bought 5 packs it totaled up to $30 – low and behold a $10 ECB printed out !!! It was a GREAT day at CVS!!!!!

          • how did u use the reventing q’s are the man

            • Themartins55

The reinventing beauty q’s were CVS q’s

            • Guest

no, they’re not. Barcode begins with a 5 and it says manufacturer’s coupon on it. I have 9 of them I’m looking at.

            • Canes1999

i know for a fact they were MQ’s not store Q’s, hope that cashier doesnt get into trouble

            • mahrobertson

The reinventing Q’s are CVS store Q’s.

            • Sheila_P

Not all of the RIB coupons are store coupons.  If the bar code starts with a “5”, it’s a manufacturer coupon.

          • how did u use the reventing q’s are the man

I went in this evening and I gave it a shot but it did not work out. But that’s ok because I got free Bayer asprin!! And I also used the Covergirl mascara BOGO coupon with the buy one and get 50% off deal and threw in the $3 off $10 cosmetics so I was good to go:)

    • Ashleygallier

i am new at the cvs deals.  Can you use 3 2$ off cvs coupons for diapers, and 3 2$ off manufacturing coupons.

      • Kenren801

yes…one store coupon and one manufacturer coupon per item.  true at all stores with store coupons….Target,CVS, Rite Aid….
        fyi…its called “stacking” coupons.HTH

        • Ashxc47

Hi I just went to CVS and tried what “Ashleygallier” said to try and the lady would not take on of my CVS coupons.
I gave her 2 CVS coupons and 3 manufacturing coupons for three packs of diapers…she would not take one of the CVS coupons….????

          • cvsemployee

I actually wrk at CVS. The $2 CVS coupons states on the coupon that you could only use 1 coupon. I had a lady come in the other night, and I had to split it up into multiple transactions in order to redeem all of the CVS coupons bc the register won’t accept more than one per transaction.

          • Sheila_P

The internet printable CVS coupons for pull-ups states “limit one per transaction” or customer something like that.  You have to break your order up into 2 transactions in order to use both.

Can anyone tell me what the price is for Salley Hansen nail polish?? I have a $3/10 CVS q and really wanna use it… but since nail polish isn’t a ‘need’ just a ‘want’, I won’t get it if it’s too much.

      • Soberkitty

There were some that we’re 75% off and when full price they were $9.99! GASP! After coupons I paid .85 cents each. There are some Sally Hansen coupons online as well as some in the inserts! Hope that helps!

      • Sheila_P

The “Hard as Nails” variety are $3.29 at my store (these colors are a bit neon-like).  The next cheapest run at $5.29 and go up from there.

    • Wethedeans

I have a quick question, if I do prescriptions at cvs, do I get bonus ECBs? I always scan my card but never get anything. Is there such a thing?

      • Jessica

You get $1 for every two prescriptions. You will get this at the end of the quarter – it is added into your quarterly ECBs.

    • Jstigall

i can’t find the pampers swaddlers 1.50 coupon anymore on coupons.com.  Anyone have a zip code that’s pulling it up?

Almay cosmetics on sales 75% off.  I had a red box Q for $3 off any Almay cosmetics.  Also had a $1 man Q.  The stick concealer was 75% off making it $2.19.  So I bought two of them and spent a total of .19 each for both!

    • Veganpadua

so i went in to cvs with my plan and it usually never works out the way i think it will (sometimes better, sometimes not), i still like to have some sort of plan.  anyway, i had my $10 coupon for the k-y products which the ad states starts at $20.99.  well, i looked for every different kind they had listed and the cheapest was $23.99.  Normally, i am not that picky but how can the ad list a starting price that does not exist?  Did anyone else notice that?

      • Mel

thought that was weird too. I bought one at 24.99, used 10 off and a 10 ecb i had lost in my car and just found (right before expiration) bought some sodas, and a few other things. paid 11.90 For two big size conditioners, cheetos, mitchum deo. and all the other stuff listed above. Got 10 gas card back (: They’re expensive but I thought it fit in well with it being almost half off

      • ys

    • TJ

I used the b1g1 covergirl mascara coupon with the  $1 off coupon plus they rang up bogo fifty percent off and stacked a 3 off of $10 coupon machine coupon.  I also had $2 off any shampoo, conditioner or styler, got white rain hair spray at $1.19.  The coupon machine also gave me one of the $15 off physicians formula and they are bogo.  Visited cvs 3 times this week.  The coupon machine kept spitting out the q’s

    • Moosrus91

is anyone else not finding the….$2 off Huggies Pull-Ups training pants (CVS coupon)?

    • Caroline

I had a great week at CVS because we were on vacation and apparently the store in Ocean City, MD makes sure they are well stocked and no one does the deals!!  Of course, nothing was tagged either so I had to keep scanning it to see prices and check the ad to make sure that I was getting the right sizes/kinds of items.
      Day 1:
      1 Mitchum deodorant $1.99 (used $1 mq, $1 CVS q)
      1 Colgate toothpaste $4.99 (used $.50 mq, $1 CVS q)
      1 Organix body wash $8.29 (used $2 CVS q)
      1 Organix shampoo $6.99 (used $2 CVS shampoo/cond q)
Plus used 30% off that applied to Organix (-$4.59) and $6 ECB from a previous week.  Paid $5.24 OOP and earned $9 ECB.
      Day 2:
2 Revlon nail clippers $3.29 each
      1 Revlon emery boards $3.79
Used 3 $1/1 Revlon beauty tools, $2/$10 beauty purchase and $5 ECB from Day 1.  Paid $.88 OOP and earned $4 ECB
      Day 3:
Realized that Organix and Revlon deals were not limit one so went back!  Scanned my card at red box first and got my $5 beauty club ECB!
      1 Organix conditioner $6.99 (used $2 CVS shamp/cond q)
      1 Revlon eye shadow $10.49 (used $2 mq, $3/$10 cosmetics q)
Used $9 ECB, paid $2.23 and got back $10 ECB ($1 extra for bag tag)
But the best part of all of this is that I participate in Pinecone Research surveys and they load the money onto a Mastercard.  All of my OOP expenses were put on that except $1.27 of the last transaction.  So I technically only paid $1.27 of my own money for all that!!  Thought about going back today and getting one more Organix but don’t really need it, plus we had to travel.
