      • Jordynsmommy

there were $3 pampers q’s in the P&G for July

        • Sheila_P

The $3 coupons are for the boxes of Pampers, and the sale is on the jumbo pack bags.  I think that’s why Jenny didn’t list it.

      • Kwtwice3

I am wondering the same thing. I tried to find them and did not see them

I dont think the Nature Made thing is right?

    • Sunshine

Does CVS consider everything in their flyers as sale items? I received a 20% off purchase e-mail today and was wanting to pick up some of the notebooks for classes this fall.  They are 3/$1 in the ad.

      • VP22

I think that may be a sale price.

      • Shelly

Notebooks are $.17 at Walmart this week….

        • Sunshine

I didn’t know that. Thank You!!!

        • NiaLee

Yes, this is the everyday price for spiral notebooks at Wal-Mart.

    • Doug

On the Pepsi 12 pack deals…will all Pepsi products be included?  I was thinking I saw a preview of the ad that included all Pepsi products.

      • cvslady

Yes, the ad scan says Pepsi and pictures Pepsi and Pepsi Next.

    • Hiady24

where do I go in recyclebank to get the coupons ?

      • Poolside1

Hi! I went to the Recycle Bank webpage yesterday, and spent about 45 minutes to get 1 coupon. I am a recycling FOOL and preach it all the time but that was just not worth my time or back ache to get just 1 coupon, sorry to say. I try not to be negitive, but my time is valueable, as is yours!

        • It took me like twenty minutes to print two coupons on that site, and they printed out all off center, with the words and UPC not even on the coupon.  I tried to reprint, and was told that was my one and only coupon allowed.  It was on two products…what a big disappointment, and waste of paper and ink.

      • Sharon

Rewards link. The first time you do recyclebank it does take time but after that it doesn’t take much time to play their little games and get points. Just like couponing .

    • Srhine85

I think I have read in the comments before about using a 25% off coupon. I know the coupon excludes sale items, but if an item is not on sale, but has an ECB reward with it, can I still use it? Also, is the $ amount going towards the ECB before or after the % off coupon? Thanks.

      • VP22

You can use it and the amount going towards ECB is before the coupon. For example, the Revlon spend $10 get $4ECBs, let’s say your total was exactly $10 of regularly priced Revlon. You use the 25% which would take off $2.50, your total would be $7.50 and then you’d get $4 ECB.

        • Mandyward67

I don’t think that is right. I used a 25% off once and it took it off after I used my coupons. so it ended up not being as great of a deal. I would try it out and see how it works for you…and then you will know in the future.

          • VP22

I think you misunderstood what I said. I didn’t say anything about using any coupons other than the 25% off. She wanted to know would the 25% off work with a regularly priced item that generated ECBs. I said if she spent $10, used 25%, it would take off $2.50 and she would still get her ECB. And yes, I am positive because I just bought $10 worth, used 25% off, paid $7.50 and got back my $4 ECBs. Yes it is true that if you use other coupons the % off coupon is after (recent change according to my CVs manager) those coupons but she did not mention using any other coupons.

            • Srhine85

               Thanks, I appreciate your help.

          • Sharon

Put your % off coupons or $4/$20 on top and then the others underneath or wait to hand other Q’s to cashier to get the best price.

    • Melissa

I just wanted to let you know the Crayola coupons are gone. If anyone has one they will not use, I would love to trade. Thanks!

    • Analrocha

What time on Saturday , could we start to use the coupons for the sunday deals ?

      • Guest

Ask your particular store since it varies by store.

      • Madisonanita

It starts at my cvs at 4pm. I think that is the earliest any store starts. Some, I think, start at 6 and 8. Just call your store and ask for manager. Cashiers aren’t always correct on their info. HTH

    • Guest

Didn’t see this listed as being in the ad but it sure makes for a much sweeter deal:
4 DAYS ONLY! Sunday through Wednesday get $4 off any purchase of $20 or more! Simply scan your ExtraCare card at the coupon center and get this instant coupon!

      • Justalaina

        Where did you see this?

        • Guest

          Last page of the ad.

    • Poolside1

I finally found the coupons on the Recycle Bank. Can anybody tell me how to print these coupons? Maybe I’m being stupid or something, lol!!!

      • Guest

You have to have enough points to be able to “buy” the coupon reward.  Add the coupon to your cart and when you check out you’ll receive the link to print it (If it’s printable you’ll see a little printer icon and the words “Print at Home Reward” so that tells you if you’ll be able to print it right away.)

        • Poolside1

Thanks for the info!! This helped alot!!

      • asmith

they also send you and email with a link

      • joaniec

        Sent mine in my email

    • Cvssaver

I got the 25% off in my email. I want to use it toward the purchase of Olay. Our ad does not show the Olay BOGO 50%, but there are tags on the products that says it. Question is since its not advertised in our ad, and I do pay regular price for the first product, can the 25% off be used?

    • Ukgirlintn

My friend wants to give me her $4 extra rewards from her receipt. Can  I use them or are they linked to your person card and therefore I will not be able to use them…Thanks for any advice you can give.

      • VP22

ECBs are linked to your card.

      • VP22

      • Schushops

    • Ctcjsbag5

Will be skipping CVS this week as I have the last two weeks.  The sales just keep getting worse and not better!

      • NiaLee

I agree – there’s just not much going on at CVS these days. Although the 4.00/20.00 store q sounds good.

    • Guest

With the $4/20 printing at the coupon center it’s going to be a great week for free/almost free necessities:

      Unreal bar $.75
      Schick Hydro Silk $9.99
      2 Colgate Toothpaste $2.50 ea
      2 Mitchum deo $1.99 ea
      Caliber notebook $.34

      – $4/$20 (prints at coupon center Sun – Wed)
      – $4 (Schick Hydro)
      – $2 (two $1 Colgate coupons)
      – $2 (two Mitchum coupons)
      $8.06 oop   Receive $.75 ECB, $3 ECB, $3 ECB

      Total cost $1.31

      • Is it just me…because this looks so pretty all planned out and written up like this, but EVERY time (never fails) that I sit and plan this out, they are out of one or more items, and then I have to scurry around to find SOMETHING to buy in order to use my $4/$20.

I had that problem with Walgreens, This one shouldn’t be too bad if you go early. My CVS is bad about running out of razors

      not seeing pampers coupon mentioned

      • Guest

If the coupon is the $3 one from the 7/1 P&G that you’re referring to, it’s not a match — the size on sale is the jumbo pack, not the box so it’s not the correct size for the coupon.

      • Eweaver_atl

I couldn’t find the Pampers coupon online–is there a ZIP that works?  TIA!

    • Guest

Is anyone else having trouble finding the Physician’s Formula skincare at their CVS? I looked at the four closest to me and only one them, the rest didn’t even have a place for PF, no tags or anything. The one that did have the skincare was out of all them for the longest time and in the last two weeks I’ve only seen two bottles there.

      • Tasha

My stores closest to me is the only one even remotely close to me that carries it, I called every store within driving distance. I got a rain check a couple weeks back for the $7.99, spend $30 get gas card (they gave me ecb’s instead). They ended up giving me a $15 gift card because I was trying to use a $15 emailed q but it expired 6/28 and they gave me the $10 gas card upfront yesterday and another rain check for 6 of them at $7.99 and said I could use it to get them as they came in because they haven’t even been getting the ones they’ve ordered from the warehouse. Apparently they are short in the warehouse???? Anyway, I was happy they did that for me.

        • Debi12167

I have been told by all 4 cvs’s  around me that they are being discontinued!

          • Guest

Strange because most of the CVS’s by me didn’t even carry it to begin with!

            • Ed In Ncarolina

It was only carried in their “high volume” stores.

      • HeatherM221

My CVS store said they will not be carrying it anymore.  Not sure if she meant all CVS’s or just that store.

      • I knew something was up when they did the $7 off thing around the 4th.  I stocked up on eyeshadow quads…loved the colors.  BUT, whenever I wear it, my eyelids itch and burn.  I have never had any allergies to any makeup before…

        • lay_may

My mom had that issue with Urban Decay
she’d never had an allergic reaction to makeup but that one (a quite expensive one at that) did her in, yet no one else in the house had an issue, strangest thing!

      • Dezzybooboo

Out of the 5 stores that are closest to me only 1 carries the skin care line :/

      • Megan

Neither of my stores carry it either.  My CVS let me use it on the moisturizer line that they have – I got  a $14.99 bottle of SPF 50 tinted moisturizer and was able to use my $15/1 coupon from the magic machine.

    • Kylr

Are you ax me to use the $3 ECBS from the Colgate deal to do it a second time in the second transaction to get another three ECBs?

      • Guest

I don’t think that Jenny would axe anyone.  She just doesn’t seem like the violent type…  ;-)

If you are asking if you can use the ECB earned from buying Colgate in the first transaction to purchase Colgate in the second transaction the answer is yes.

ECBs are not like Catalina Register Rewards which are tied to a specific product.  You can use ECBs to purchase just about anything in the store, including products that you purchased that triggered the ECB — just check the ECB for specific restrictions (alcohol, tobacco, prescriptions, dairy, etc.)

I cracked up at your first sentence(:

      • Shelby

This happens to me all the time. I live in Northern California, and for some reason we often don’t get many of the coupons, or even the same sales, as other areas. You could always buy the coupons online at websites that sell clipped coupons.

        • Shelby

woops psted this on the wrong comment.

    • Little Southern Lady

I’m new to couponing and am frustrated bc my SS doesn’t have some of the coupons mentioned…Mitcham…Colgate.  Is this normal?  How do I get the SSs that have the good coupons??  :)

      • JW

I have the same problem if I buy my local paper. You need to buy a paper for a larger market for me it’s the Raleigh paper. Buy the paper for the largest metro area near you.

        • Not always true- I live in Columbia, SC, and we get crummy coupons, too.

          • ireneY

Maybe Columbia is not the booming metropolis you thought it was! Same with Atlanta. We’re missing good stuff all the time, too!

I will add to what JW said that I get the Orlando Sentinel, I’m pretty sure its my only option and a rather large circulation, but I still will get lower value coupons or sometimes not have the coupons mentioned.

      • Ed In Ncarolina

I get the News & Record every Sunday, and occasionally get Sunday inserts from Brunswick county or North Myrtle. I probably get less than 50% of the coupons listed. Sometimes they are about half the value, but more often they are not even there.

      • Zeb

Every paper in my area is lacking the good coupons almost every week.  The only insert I can count on is the PG.  Its to the point that I am actually surprised to see a ss or rp coupon in a matchup that I have.  Most the coupons I use are printables

      • Monica

you can go to http://www.redplum.com and http://www.smartsource.com and they may have the coupons that came out in the insert of the paper

    • Smbrines

Can you use a CVS percent off coupon (ex. 20% or 30%) on a b1g1 or when the price of the item is not on sale but you get ecb back?

      • Shelby

Yes you can. If the sale is buy $15 worth of blah and get $5 or something like that, the prices of the items were not changed for the sale, you just get rewarded for buying them with extrabucks, so the percent off works with those kinds of sales.

Also, with b1b1, the price of the item is not changed for the sale, so it shuld work, but only on the first item that you are actually paying for.

Percent off coupons work as long of the price of the item was not marked down for the sale.

        • Debi12167

I don’t think it will work for buy 1 get 1 things because I tried to get it on light bulbs.. They were not on sale but some things in cvs have tags that r buy 1 for reguler price (say $4.39) or buy 2 and save (say $4 each so you get .,39 cents off each one)  These items (mostly lightbulbs and houseware things) are not on sale per say but have a “promotion” that is what the manager calls them.. She is VERY coupon friendly and she tried and tried and said, anything with ANY kind of promo (in the sales flyer or not) would not allow the 25% off to be used.. so if you are just getting extra bucks back yes, it will work but the buy1 get 1 is a promotion and probably won’t but you can alway’s try it and see.. Let us know if it does work..

      • Sheila_P

B1G1 products are on sale and you won’t get a discount for the one that you are paying for.

    • I scanned my card three times at the red coupon machine today.  Each time it printed out various coupons along with a 20% off coupon.  I noticed that each of the 20% coupons have the exact same number on them across from the expiration date.  Can I use all three of these on different transactions, or after I use the first one, will it say that I have already used that particular coupon/offer?  (Note: this is one of those q’s on my CVS account that I had sent to my card.)

      • JustMe

It only works once, but will print every time until it is used or expires.

        • Thanks for the replies! I went to CVS this evening and the cashier did ask me if I wanted to use it :)

      • Shelby

whenever you have sent a 20% off or 25% off to your card from online, it will print out at the bottom of you red coupon machine coupons as a little reminder that it is on your card. Those are not coupons or used for anything. To use the 20%, when you checkout and buy a nonsale item, the cashier will see a pop-up and ask if you would like to use it. After one use, it is gone.

      • Guest

Reread the 20% off coupon.  It is just a summary of the discount that has been sent to your card.  it is not an actual 20% off coupon.

    • Paulah

this is my third week CVSing and I’m getting a little frustrated with the MCM! The first week I used it it gave me all sorts of good coupons and the last two weeks I keep getting the same two over and over. And it only lets me scan my card once a day. Also I know that alot of people have mentioned the $4 off $20 that is supposed to print but I didn’t get that either. Can anyone explain to me what’s up?

      • Shelby

The $4/$20 starts sunday and continues through thursday, one print out per card. As far as the other things, the redbox is hit and miss, sometimes the coupons are useless, and sometimes they are amazing money makers. I scan mine whenever I can to see which it will be. I dont know if you got these, but this week I kept getting $1 off of nivea hand lotion, and there are small tins of nivea for $1.19 here so I used those to get the tins for $0.19. Not too bad.

        • momof3

those tins are .99 in SC, but my store was all out. going to check before the coupon expires!

          • Lzbacnik

You can use the Nivea coupon for the .99 tin.  Over the last week I have gotten 3 of those coupons.  I used them to get 3 free .99 tins.  Whoo whoo.  I love Southern Savers and CVS……..

            • CrazyMomOf11

My CVS was all out. :(

            • Debbie

My CVS wouldn’t let me use the coupon on the .99 tins, said that they are trial size, and the coupon couldn’t be used on trial size.

            • Chelsea

The white ones are trial size, they even say it. But the blue tins do not say trial size on them. I would point this out to the cashier or manager if it was me bc there is a difference. HTH

      • Jodispink

Your coupons also seem to be relative to what you buy at CVS so after you have shopped more at CVS you will probably get a wider variety of coupons.  Sometimes someone will get a coupon and I never receive it but it seems that it is from a product that I have never purchased before at CVS.

the 4/20 started just this morning try again and sometimes you do get not so great coupons and sometimes you get really great ones.  hang in there!!

      • lay_may

the 4 off 20 definitely should print for you because their ad says it will. Everything else is ‘random’  as to if you get something or not. I’ve had weeks where nothing prints and weeks where I get all the good stuff. Just hang in there and keep checking. I haven’t used the MCM in a while because I lost my physical card, I’m hoping I found a way to use it again and might get something good(:

        • Mitch

i lost my card too but you can use your smart phone as a card. just download the app and go to CVS.com and log in to get your card # to enter into the app.

        • Jordynsmommy

i don’t know if u know it or not but if you call customer service and tell them you lost your card you can request a duplicate.  They will ask if you want a new card but tell them no, you want a duplicate with the same card number so u will have all your accumulated beauty rewards and such.  Takes 3 to 4 weeks to get it in the mail.  It will be 2 keychain cards.  Hope that helps.  I just did it and am waiting on mine to come!!

      • CrazyMomOf11

The first few weeks that I started couponing at CVS I got some pretty weak coupons.  After I had started shopping there weekly I started getting better coupons, just hang in there it will get better.

      • Melissa

When I scanned my card the first time today it didn’t give me the $20 off but when I scanned it again it gave it to me plus 5 other coupons!

    • brendam15010

When it says limit 2 does that mean i can get the deal twice ?

      • Shelby

Yes. That means that you can buy the item twice, and that both times the extra care bucks will print. After that, you can still get the item for the sale price, but the extra care bucks will not print because you have reached your limit. This is per card.

    • momof3

The Bumble Bee tuna on sale is not chunk white.

    • Sarah

There’s a great deal on pampers when you use the $3.00 pampers coupons that were in the P&G insert from 7/1/12. Buy some thing for $1 to add on and then use the $4.00 off $20 and you got a good deal just as good or better than the rite aid deal. Better if you have extra bucks to use up and need diapers!

      • Guest

The $3 coupon from the 7/1 P&G is for the BOX.  The diapers on sale this week is the jumbo pack — it’s not the box.  The coupon can’t be used.

Great day at CVS. I bought the $7.99 Nature Made, $9.99 Sally Hansen, .75 Unreal Bar, .77  Sierra Mist and .50 Arizona Tea which equaled $20 exactly (how often does that actually happen?). I used the $4/$20, $3 CVS S. Hansen q, $1 S. Hansen Manu q, $3 CVS any vitamin q, $2 CVS Nature Made q (wasn’t sure if I could use both the CVS and N.M. vitamin q’s but they said 1 was general q and 1 was a specific brand so I could use both), $1 Mature Made Manu q and $6 ECB’s. Total was $0 and I got back $8.75 in ECB’s.

      I also shopped for my mom. I bought her $10.00 (4) Colgate Advanced Toothpastes, $7.99 Nature Made, .75 Unreal Bar and $2.37 Comb which equaled $21.11. I used $4/$20, 3 $1 Colgate Advanced, .50 Colgate, $2 CVS N.M q, $1 N.M manu q, $2 CVS hair accessory and $8 ECB’s. Total was .61 and I got back $10.75 in ECB’s.

      • VP22

I’m not totally sure but I think you could use them both if you spent at least $35.

      • Mcclellanda79

I have been able to use both before on a $20 purchase. The $4 coupon will bring your total down to $16, which means you still meet the requirements for the $3/$15 purchase. No guarantees though. I would ask the store manager first. If memory serves, the second coupon beeped, but my manager pushed it through. She is couponer friendly.

        • Guest

In order to use both coupons your purchase would have to be $35 ($20 + $15).  The register beeped because your total was not $35.

      • Eric S

        Of course not.

That site STINKS. The coupons print of off center and almost blank, with barcodes cut off.  The coupons look fake, and I know they are not, but so many shoppers complain that they are being harrassed for this.  Not worth the paper and ink, IMHO.

$5 off beauty purchase of $15 – what all does that include?  I see that folks are using it for shampoo – how about toothbrushes, shaving cream?  I guess personal care and beauty are easy to blur together?

      • Guest

The coupon is for those things which would count for the Beauty Club:  Cosmetics, Hair Care, Fragrance, Skin Care, Beauty tools, Hair Appliances, Hair Accessories, Nail Care.

I guess I could argue that I wear a toothbrush as a hair accessory but then I’d look like a total idiot when they’d be expecting to see me with the toothbrush in the hair on my next visits to the store…

But trust me, managers and cashiers aren’t rocks.  They remember who push the limits on coupons.  And CVS has access to every purchase made as well as every coupon redeemed with those purchases.  it just isn’t worth the tarnished reputation to save a buck.

Beauty Club FAQ – “Qualifying beauty purchases include items from the following categories: Cosmetics, Fragrances, Hair Accessories, Hair Appliances, Hair Care, Hair Color, Healthy Skin Care and Skin Care.”  I can see where this would eliminate toothbrushes (but aren’t clean white teeth beautiful?), but shaving is a skin care – right?  I know – I won’t cheat the system or try to make something work that isn’t supposed to, I am just saying it is a tricky thing to figure out.

          • Guest

And dark chocolate is full of antioxidants which is great for the skin.  Sounds like beauty care to me!

(Yes, you can warp any CVS coupon into whatever you want it to be.  But, as I mentioned, CVS & managers do notice and it’s not worth my integrity to save a few $$.)

            • VP22

              I second that!!! ;-}

            • mrn1

Kind of like CVS coupons that exclude trial sizes and arguing that you are buying “travel” sized, not trial sized items.

            • Kat175

I don’t think RJ was trying to twist the rules, just clarify. I definitely thought shaving counted and this was a learning experience for me. He/she was quite clear he wanted to follow the rules – that’s what is so great about this forum!

          • Days1997

And, babies need to be beautiful…would baby lotion/shampoo be included!?  I dont think they do, but why?  I know they need to draw a line somewhere…

          • Days1997

AND…I am so much more beautiful after I have had my Diet Mtn Dew fix…lol

      • VP22

Somebody told me the best way to see what was considered a Beauty purchase was to go to the CVS website, look under Shop, then Beauty and everything that comes under that section is what counts.

Ya know, some folks are really ugly when they dont shave and groom…lol.  I often wonder why shaving accessories are not part of beauty.  Imagine all the beautiful women of the world with super hairy underarms and legs… Now, can you see my argument!!?? LOL.

How do i know how much i have to go the get the beauty club ecb?

      • noetab

There is a summary in your receipt towards your beauty club spending, or if you have account online you can view it too there.

        • PaulaH

I have an account but I haven’t been able to find it. Where is it on there?

Thanks for your help. I ended up calling customer service and they told me that they didn’t show me as being signed up for beauty club even though I know I did it but she said she signed me up and send me a 10% coupon but what really stinks is I know that I was close if not over getting my $5 ecb and yesterday was my birthday so I should have gotten ebc for that too! :( oh well!

            • noetab

I’m with you, that is frustrating. You should have gotten all those ecbs. Anyways, glad I helped you somehow.
              Belated happy birthday btw. :)

I am trying to figure out if I did something wrong.  I bought three mascaras for the Cover Girl ECB deal pictured on the front.  I then bought the specialty lip products for the Cover Girl ECB deal pictured in the middle of the flyer.  There were two different promo numbers, so I insisted it was two different deals.  The cashier tried to say that I had met my CG ECB quota, but I argued my case.  I don’t typically make a stink, but I thought that was a little shady.  He eventually force printed the ECB’s, but now I feel guilty.  If I was wrong, I will take the merchandise back and tear up the ECB’s.

      • mrn1

I don’t think you were wrong.  It definitely had the mascaras listed as a separate deal.  CVS does have problems with their ads and ECBs sometimes.  What does the bottom of your receipt show?  Does it only show one CG ECB count or does it show two different ones?  If it shows two different ones, does the one that didn’t automatically print show that you still need to purchase something?  I am sure you have looked at all of that, but just suggestions?

    • di

did any one get rain checks for the head and shoulders? if so u thinks the coupons will still take off 9.49

I agree.   I hardly ever go to Walgreens unless I see a great deal.   If I can use their coupon in conjunction with a Manf coupon…but I prefer CVS without question.

      • I agree!  These days I only go to Walgreens if they have some spectacular deal that I just can’t pass up … and that’s not often!

    • Madisonanita

Just call me DUMMY! I just got back from cvs and realized that I only picked up 3 pks of cvs brand batteries (B1G1) so I ended up not getting one free.
Do they keep up with my (B1G1) and can I go back and get the 4th pack, or am I out of luck-without returning the 3pks and starting over?

      • Stacyannw

i think your out of luck sorry

      • Rubies20

Just return one then get two more

      • JTTH

I worked at my local CVS for over a year and we would give you the free one without any returns if you just brought your receipt and explained the situation. We always got in trouble for too many refunds, so if we can make the customer happy without one, we always did. However, this was my local store’s policy and it may be different in your area, but you could give it a try, it’s a lot easier on everyone if they can just give you the free one :)

      • HeatherM221

I would just take the receipt and go ask :) All they can so is no, right???

      • Debi12167

Go and explain. My store would give the free one no hassle.. If they give you a problem then just return the 1 and then go buy the 2.. :)

    • LuvCpns

Wasn’t going to go to CVS but had a good small trip today.

      $3.74 oop
      or $1.24 or each item

      • Lynn

I didn’t know Harris Teeter would take ECB’s from CVS.  Do you have to ask the manager first?

    • Wethedeans

Run don’t walk! I found in the Almay cosmetic section, Almay facial soap single bars $.99 ea and B1G1 50% off. There were only 3 at my store but I used the $1 coupons for Almay and got them for a $.50 money maker. Helped a bit with the big picture anyway!

      • Days1997

What almay coupon did you use???  I am excited about this, but confused about which coupon to use…(or maybe where it was found…)

    • The manager at the CVS in Rincon, GA  didn’t want to let me use more than one coupon for the Products that I was purchasing even thought each coupon was for a different product made by Pepsi. She said that  I could only use one coupon per brand per transaction. I told her if it doesn’t state that in the store policy then she can’t do that. She argued saying that she got in trouble the other day because someone purchased several items using fake coupons. That’s not my problem! My coupons are legitimate. I stuck to my guns making my point and she finally let me use them.

      • di

I have been to that store in Rincon visiting my sister in Savannah and I have had issues too. They didn’t want to take a coupon for an item that was .99 and the coupon was for $1. I had to tell them that they could reduce the coupon and they said that they couldn’t….but finally did after I showed them their coupon policy. This was after the asst mgr and then the mfg was called. I’m not blasting them.  I just think that employees should be trained on their own coupon policies. Makes it hard for us when they are not.

        • di

So sorry.  After I posted this I realized that this happened at the Walgreens in Rincon…not the CVS.  Sorry.

I got a q from the machine for $3 off $15 in calibur stationary items. These items are on sale this week and I saw signs to get back $3 ecb when you spend $15. Thought it was a pretty good deal. The copy paper, envelopes, notebooks, and folders are all on sale and part of the ecbs.

      • HeatherM221

I got that one too but didn’t have time to look at what Calibur products  were.  Thanks for the tip on the ECB’s!

      • Days1997

Anyone know how much the copy paper is????

        • Watts_coupons

The copy paper is $3.98 in the sale ad. Hth!!

      • andi330

I may have to go and look at that tomorrow. I have two of those coupons (I stop by CVS several times a week to use the machine since you never know what you will get).

    • Natalie53079

      New Couponer here:
I went to CVS last night.  I had (4) 1.00 off coupons for the Pepsi / Mnt Dew 12 pk specials.  The cashier questioned them.  She called the manager up front.  They huddled and talked about them.  He asked me where I got them?  I said that I surf 3-4 sites daily that will allow me to print coupons.  He wanted a phone number to call and verify the coupon.  I didn’t have one, nor was it printed on the coupon.  After a long scrutinizing session, the manager and cashier finally let me use them.  A line had formed behind me, and I felt embarrased as if I was doing something wrong.   **  Is this normal?  And has anyone had problems with those 1.00 off coupons on the pepsi products?

      • Gatorginger

I used them yesterday and had no problems.  I frequent the same cvs cause they are super nice there.  Some stores may be more pickier

      • Guest

The website name is written on each coupon — CommonKindness.  you had to register at the website to print the coupons.

You should have shown the manager that each coupon had unique identifiers. Since you could only print one of each type of coupon per computer per 180 days the coupons would have each had a unique id coupon, date, time and D.

      • I printed those same q’s a couple of months ago and the cashier at CVS did ask me where I got them, too.  At that time I had only been couponing about a week and I couldn’t think of where I got those and I didn’t know to show her that it was printed on the q.  Anyway, she did take them, but I think they ask about them because good soda coupons are somewhat rare and also because they look a little different than the usual printed coupons.

On a side note, I was at Walmart yesterday and used 4 of the .75/2 Milky Way q’s and the cashier wouldn’t take them until she had a manager come over and ok them.  I felt the same way you did when a line formed behind me … they did end up taking the q’s, in the end, but it was embarrassing.

Welcome to the fun filled world of couponing!  I was once “escorted” by loss prevention/security to the front of the walmart, where I was told that my two coupons were counterfeit (I got them MYSELF from a blinkie machine.  I was harrassed, HUMILIATED…wrote a two page letter to WalMart over a year ago and emailed them, received NO apology or even an explaination.  Why!!??  Its part of the use of coupons.  It shouldn’t be…but it is.

        • Days1997

OH PS…the coupons were for 50 cents each!  Not like full value coupons to make the product free or anything.  I was escorted by loss prevention, for trying to buy two boxes of bandaids and saving $1.

      • Days1997

I printed those common kindness coupons, too…they were my first ever from that site.  The coupon came out almost all blank, with a tiny picture and barcode that was cut-off and off center.  I tossed them… I know they were real, but I didnt want the hassle of what would be said.  I treid to reprint, thinking maybe a glitch…but it said I had already printed.  Tried to email commonkindness…no response.

    • Nadelaney

I got my $4 off $20 purchase and $6 off Coppertone Wet and Clear out of coupon box.
Bought two packs of Pampers for $19. Two bottles of Head and Shoulders at $6.29 a piece and Coppertone at $8.99. Had two $3 pamper coupons, B1G1 Head and Shoulders. Spent $12 and got $5 ECB. Good day!!

      • Guest

The $3 Pampers coupons (7/1 P&G insert) are for the BOXES of Pampers.  The diapers on sale this week are only the Jumbo packs which are not boxes.

        • golden

I received (2) Pampers coupons in the mail w/ a sample. One was for $2 off Baby Dry and one was for $1 off Baby Dry diapers. It applied to the jumbo packs. She/he didn’t specify that the coupon was from the 7/1 insert.

And I recieved 2 catalina $3 off ANY pampers diapers from Kroger last week…. I plan to use on this deal tonight :-)

        • Guest

If the catalina printed with Kroger’s logo on it, it’s CVS policy not to accept it:

“CVS/pharmacy will not accept third party manufacturers’ coupons with another retailer’s logo”

I know my CVS won’t accept Catalina coupons – the manager has explained that they don’t get reimbursed for them.

          • andi330

I thought that only stores who participated in catalina (had the boxes) got the reimbursements for those kinds of coupons, even though they say they are an mq. So Kroger could accept BiLo catalinas and get reimbursed, but not CVS, who doesn’t have the catalina machines in their stores. But maybe I don’t really understand how catalinas work entirely.

    • sj

Can someone tell me where to pull up the CVS coupons on their web page?  I used to go to their page to print coupons all the time and now I can’t seem to find where to print them.  Thx

      • sj

        Nevermind.  I found it.  Sorry.

    • Stacey

If you buy a product (say the Colgate deal above) and get the ECB’s….can you go back another day and get more ECB’s if you buy 2 more or does your card only give you the ECB’s the one time??

      • Debi1216

depends on the limit of the deal. I think the colgate is limit of 2.

        • Stacey

          ok, thanks!

Last week coupon machine printed $6 off Coppertone wet n’ clear sunblock… Sale price $8.99 with $2 EB and $1 manufacturer Q, makes for some FREE sunblock!! love it

Yesterday I ran into my favorite CVS just to pick up some milk and cereal—used ECBs to pay for 2 boxes cookie crisp and 1 gal milk–got back $3.50 ECBs. Manager said “wow we pay you to shop here” Love CVS!

    • Chloe

I just took my first trip to CVS. It went pretty well. I had a price in mind of $20 that I wanted to spend total. I ended up getting 2 items not on my list that were $2 each and still only spent $22.46. Here is what I got:

      • Guest

Nice shopping.  You might want to check to see if received all of the ECBs that you were supposed to receive.  You mention that you only received $3.75 for your first transaction but if you bought Colgate ($3 ECB), Schick Hydro ($3 ECB) and the candy ($.75 ECB) you should have received $6.75 in ECBs on your receipt.

(You can check the bottom of the receipt to see the tally of the offers to see if it shows if the purchase counted toward an ECB reward.)

        had
an issue at cvs today..was trying to use some rain checks & was
told that i could not use my expired coupons that i had saved with my
rain checks.  i have been couponer for about a year now and have used
many rain checks with expired coupons because @ the time the rain check
was written they were valid.. has this happened to anyone?  am i in the
      wrong?

      Edit Reply

      • Bamasaver

I’ve been told previously that the use of an expired Q w/ a raincheck is strictly at the manager’s discretion.

      • mrn1

They used to allow it, but when they revised the CVS corporate policy, it says they do not accept expired coupons.  I had read about people using expired ECBs and CRT/redbox coupons since they are CVS coupons and was told no on those also.  I’m sure YMMV, but according to the corporate policy, they don’t accept any expired coupons.

      • Gatorginger

I will ask them if they will honor the coupon when they do the rain check and they usually will write on my rain check that they will honor coupons

      • Days1997

whoa…I have NEVER had CVS take an expired manufacturer’s coupon…NEVER.  They do not get reimbursed.  I understand your frustrations, bc you had the coupon ready to buy then, but they were out…but I respect the fact that they will not get reimbursed.  Thankfully, coupons usually come around again with newer expiration dates.  With all that CVS GIVES and DOES for me, the couponer…I respect this.

      • Rubies20

Rainchecks never expire and new coupons usually come out

Did pretty good at CVS today when I had previously decided to skip out this week (They didn’t have many of my favs on sale)
I don’t know if this is everywhere, but at my CVS they have $1 off blinkies for Aussie hair care which matches up nicely with the ECB for Aussie deal going on.
So I got an Aussie Shampoo and Conditioner at 2 for $6 – 2 $1off blinkies and 1ECB back. Made them $1.50 each (or 1 free, whichever way you want to look at it)
I also got 2 Revlon nail colors and 5 Pepsi 2 liters. Had $1 off the nail color plus got 5ECB back.
I grabbed a .99 Nivea travel size lotion because I had $1 off Nivea hand lotion from the coupon machine last week- so that was free.
When the items rang up before coupons it was around $24. I had the $4/$20, but told the cashier I wasn’t sure if it would all still be over $20 after I used the other coups in hand. She said “Oh, well I’ll ring that one up first!” I don’t know if every cashier would do that, but I guess I lucked out with an extra nice one! :-)!
So then it was around $16 and I had 9 ECB from last week. Only paid $5.20 out of pocket… and then I got 6 ECB back. I swear it feels like robbery sometimes! CVS is so cool!

I was wondering though. I only got 5 Pepsi’s because I thought I read somewhere (maybe here) that there was a limit of 5. Is that per customer? Or per trip? Because if I could get more at this price it would be awesome. I’m trying to wean myself off sodas, but I work at a military school and they always ask us to provide snacks/drinks for the cadets around exam time. Would be nice to stock up now because I always seem to be hurting for cash when the sign up sheet for snack bringing comes around. I realize I’ve already hit the limit for ECB on this. But .77 2 liters is kind of unreal!

The limit is 5.  You could get another CVS card and then purchase 5 Pepsi’s

      • Stacyannw

the limit is 5 per transaction really, so if you go back a different day or go to a different cvs you should be able to get more.  I have already gotten 10 and plan to get 10 more at different cvs’s during the rest of this week to get my $5ecb

Just a heads up for next time…always use CVS qs first because M qs will take off taxes whereas store qs apply to price before taxes. So say for example, if you had $19.41 before taxes you couldn’t use the $4/$20 cvs q. I learned thks the hard way at wags on thanksgiving lol hth!

I have a coupon that I printed off the CVS coupon site for Clear Scalp & Hair Beauty Therapy product that says CVS/pharmacy at the top where it normally says Manufacturer coupon.  Is this a CVS store coupon or a manufacturer coupon?  It has Unilever as the redemption address.

Found out the hard way that it is a Manufacturer coupon, not a CVS store coupon.  Tried to use that one plus a $2 Manu. Q and it beeped.  Manager argued with me that I couldn’t use 2 manu. Q’s on one item.  I argued with him that I wasn’t, I was only using 1 of each… Then we read the coupon together…. (insert red face here)… I was wrong and apologized but was still embarassed because I argued I was right lol…Pays to research first.. HTH

I got a $6 off Coppertone at the magic Red Machine today, which with my $1 off coupon  made it $1.99, then I got $2 ECB, so it was a one cent money maker!!

Cashier said that she used all of my coupons including $3/$15 Beauty- when I got home I looked at the receipt more closely and it did not show that she used the coupon.  I called CVS and they could see where I received the coupon and did not use it and they apologized and said that the next time I go to the red machine it will print a $3 off anything coupon for me.  NICE!  so, if you have any problems at CVS – don’t bother arguing with the clerk – just keep your receipt handy and call CVS 1800.  No hassle and instant results!
