      Great week for baby products!

    • Jessie.Keaton

I can’t seem to find where we get the $5 ECB when you buy two aussie products?? I’ve looked in the ad. Where am I missing this? Thanks.

      • VP22

I believe it’s a monthly deal. Spend $15 get $5 ECBs. In her scenario, she has 4 items, 2 sets of 2.

        • Jaz

If I need one more bottle of Herbal Essence to total $15 to get $5, do I need to purchase that bottle today (the last day of this week’s sale) or can I purchase that bottle anytime during this month to get the deal?  I’m hoping the latter.

          • VP22

If it’s monthly you should be able to purchase it at any time during that month. It should be tracking on your receipt.

            • Jaz

That’s what I thought.  Thank you so much :)

      • Esyke623

Maybe you’re thinking the $5 ECB wyb $15 Aussie, which is a month long promo?

        • Esyke623

(If you’re looking above at her (2) shampoo and (2) conditioner, she actually bought 4 products, total, and got $5 ECB from spending $15 on Aussie.  If she would buy one more, she would get another $5 for hitting $15 again ($30, total).

          • Stephanie Hall

It says “limit one” on the ecb.

            • Esyke623

I have done it several times, already.  I think it’s one per transaction, but 7, total, for the month.  Every time I hit $15, all month long, it has printed another $5.

    • DCinSparkle City

I get so frustrated when I see a coupon in the “Set them up for Success booklet”. Whose booklet was that and how did people get it?

      • TLMcoupon

I think it was a publix p&g booklet.  I signed up for it and never received it.  disappointing.

      • Julie

You get them from Publix… but they’re probably out.

      • David

CVS gave a health fair in FL last month and a lady was handing these booklets. The fair is still going on in some areas, I recommend you call your local CVS Pharmacy and ask when/where next health fair will take place. Also if you attend the fair (which is FREE) you get vission, diabetes, cholesterol, Blood pressure testing for free, plus 5 coupon extra bucks per person. I took the whole family :)

    • Esyke623

Can you guys tell me if this would work for the Huggies buy $30 get $10 ECB?

Buy 3 Huggies Diapers for $9.50.
Use 2 $5 off $15 Huggies from “Baby Oh Baby” coupon book.
Use 3 $2 off Huggies man. coupons.
      Get $10 ECB back.

Basically, $4 for 3 packs of diapers?  Is $28.50 high enough to get the ECB to print?  This would be great if it would work!  I could really use some affordable diapers!  Let me know if I made a mistake, please! :)

      • Hope

No, $28.50 isn’t high enough. You would need to add something to get you over $30 before coupons.

        • Esyke623

OK– thanks.  Do you know how close I would have to be?

          • VP22

98%- so your total would have to be at least $29.40

      • Ckladd2007

where do you get the Baby oh baby coupon book?

        • Esyke623

They sent it to me in the mail . . . I didn’t request it or anything. Maybe it’s because I buy so many diapers?

      • TLMcoupon

CVS $$$ off WYB xxxx amount is limit one per transaction.  Unless you buy $15 worth of huggies in 2 transactions you cannot use 2 of those coupons.  Besides buying 3 equals $28.50 so that would not work anyway.  You have to  be within $0.50 I believe.

      • TLMcoupon

how did you get 2 of the baby oh baby books?

        • Esyke623

They sent one to my Mom, also.

      • Crystalgoodwin3

No, $28.50 is not high enough. I think it has to be within 1% which in this case would be $29.70.

        • Rebekah

I’m pretty sure your total has to be within 5% of what is stated in the ad. $28.50 is 95% of $30, so it ECB should print. I plan on doing a similar scenario to yours. Although, if your total is not $30, you will not be able to use both $5/15 coupons.

          • Rebekah

I’m sorry, I was incorrect, your total has to be at 98% of $30, which would be $29.40

      • Georgia Peach

Try this scenario: Buy 2 packs of Huggies.
$9.50*2=$19Use: $5/$15 HuggiesAlso, use 2 of the $2 off manu
Do this transaction twice. The computer will keep up with what you have spent for this deal ($38 total for trans. 1 and 2) and will print your $10 ECB at the end of the second transaction. That is how to use two of the $5 off $15.So, you will end up with 4 packs of Huggies for $10, or $2.50 each.

      • guest

You won’t be able to use 2 Baby Oh Baby coupons.  They attach to your account after you use one.  It says One per customer.

    • Jsmcoupons

Is 24 really a sale price for enfamil at cvs? I thought that is what I usually pay. Trying to figure if I could use 25 percent off

    • TLMcoupon

The herbal essence BOGO and the $3/2 coupons cannot be paired together. They both clearly say “limit one coupon per item/ quantities specified”  Meaning if you want to use both coupons you would need 4 items…. 2 for the BOGO to attach to, and 2 for the $3/2 to attach to.  It is misuse/ fraud.

      • VP22

In her scenario she is saying buy 4 items. It says (2) Aussie Shampoo and  (2) Aussie Conditioner. I think the math in there is wrong somewhere though.

        • VP22

I take that back. Math is right after you include ECB from previous transaction.

        • couponingbee

I think they are referring to the buy four use 2 bogo Qs and 2 $3/2 Qs. in that case you would need to purchase 8 products to use both coupons correctly since the each attach to two products and clearly state 1 coupon. they are correct it is misus and fraud.

    • Jennifer G.

How does using a free herbal essences coupon to buy an Aussie product work? Sorry, I’m new to this!

      • Rach3lbu11man

It will take off the amount that is listed on the coupon…if it says (up to $3.99)  then the cashier will deduct $3.99 off the price!  If it is on sale for less than that then you will probably not get overage but will get it FREE!

        • Watts_coupons

it is actually up to $6.99! so maybe some overage!

          • jennaj81

mine automatically scanned and took $6.99 off and at my CVS they don’t adjust it down…I had 1 BOGO and 1 $3/2, so I got 3 for $8 and got $5EBC back…$1 each!

        • Watts_coupons

it is actually up to $6.99! so maybe some overage!

      • Esyke623

I think Jenny made a mistake– it is just for Herbal Essence.  Some of them can be used on both– but this one can’t.  You can’t use an Herbal Essences coupon for Aussie, unless it says good for both.

      • Mcleodsc

My cpn says Aussie OR Herbal Ess.

    • VP22

I just went back and looked at both coupons for Aussie/Herbal Essence. The $3/2 says Aussie Or Herbal Essence but the bogo is only for Herbal Essence . Just a heads up.

      • Jessie.Keaton

Thanks for the heads up. :)

        • VP22

          You are very welcome

      • Jessie.Keaton

Thanks for the heads up. :)

    • sjgsjg

Just a heads up… I have $4 off one Venus refillable razor exp 9/30 (Venus & Olay shown)  Match that with the basic Venus razor and it’s a money maker. It would still probably be free with the $3 off coupon listed above.

    • Juan Grande

The Dermasilk proves elusive.  My city apparently only carries one size and it  (sadly) is priced at $39.99.

      • Jordyn’s mommy

I know, mine too.  Shallotte, NC.  I feel like it is a tease, lol to wave deals at us then our store doesn’t have them.  Just kidding, but it is very overpriced at $40!

      • Pinkladyalley35

I had the same thing in Knoxville, TN. The cheapest one is $39.99! Not that good of a deal

        • Trish

If you are one of the lucky few who received a 25% off email, you could use that bringing the price down to $29.99.  Then use the $10 rib coupon and the $5 cvs coupon making it $15 with $10 ecb’s.  $5 final price to try a very expensive product s not terrible IMO!   I may try it if I have the right coupns.

      • VP22

I guess we are a little luckier in Birmingham, $29.99 but I have not seen the one that’s supposed to be $19.99 and I have checked quite a few stores.

      • David

I can guarantee that Miami, Fort Lauderdale, and the Palm Beaches have no such free deal. The lowest price is 39.99 :(

    • sjgsjg

what about Revlon B1G1 50% off.  I have a few $5 coupons plus the 4 off 12 would make it pretty decent, right?

Where do you see it B1G1 50%?

        • sjgsjg

page 8 in the upcoming CVS ad.  Maybe it’s not on everyone else’s ad?

        • Debra

I went to cvs.com website and it was on the front page of the new ad that starts on 9/23. It says buy 1 get 1 at 50% off Revlon makeup. I’m going for this deal tomorrow, its a good deal with the $5 off coupon plus the new $4 off  coupon from the red coupon machine.

    • sjgsjg

Does anyone have or want to trade something for the Dermasilk 10.00 Coupon? I don’t have the book that it came in.

    • mewatts

I wanted to do the Aussie deal but my CVS has not re-stocked so I did not get that but I did do the Venus razor deal and the glade deal. Walked out with zero balance and 9 in ecb’s so not bad at all.

      • wendyc33

        Post how you did it.

        • mewatts

Bought (3) glade candles. Used a buy 2 get 1 free glade candle coupon. Bought Glade twin refills. Used a 1q off plus a buy any glade twin refills and get the glade mist free. Bought the Venus razor used a 4Q.  So I had these q’s come off, 4,2, 1,3.49,4.00,4.00
          .10 10.00 4.86

          • mewatts

No, it should read like this. $4.00, $2.00, $1.00, $3.49, $4.49, $.10, $10.00 ecb, $4.86 ecb.  The 10 cents was due to the cashier messing up. The $4.86 ecb was actually a $5.00 ecb but since that put them owing me they adjusted it to the $4.86

    • Madisonanita

We have a good cvs, but not a large one, so we don’t have all the items that are advertised, which I can understand because of space, BUT that also means that they don’t have a large stock of items. Almost every time I go I have to re-figure my coupons because they don’t have sale items in stock. I get rainchecks, but they won’t take expired coupons that I could’ve used if they had the item in stock and my manager says that they also can’t do any ecb’s on rainchecks. Does anyone else have this problem, or is it just my cvs?

      • Jordyn’s mommy

Not giving ECB’s on a raincheck is against policy.  I would call corporate and mention manager by name and see how fast the start being a little nicer to you!!!

        • LuvthisStuff

They don’t give you the ECBs on Rain checks if they are more then 2 weeks out. But if you are more then two weeks out they just take off the ecb amount off the total…

          • angie

That is not correct. CVS will manually print out the ECB. Have been couponing for 2 years. No matter when I use a raincheck the cashier manually prints out the ECB.

      • Rubies20

I always cut the ad out of the paper and staple it to the raincheck and don’t forget the code at the bottom they will have to put in the code to issue the ECB’s

        • uthorns1976

I do the same thing.  That way, there’s no question what the rain check is for, ECBs, etc.

Just wanted to let everyone know that the Glade BOGO’s and the Herbal Essence BOGO’s are both taking off max value!! Woot Woot!!!!!

      • DianneL

I don’t see a Glade BOGO listed in scenarios. Can you explain? Thanks for the report of your success!

        • mewatts

I had a booklet sent to me in the mail from glade that had the bogo in them. It was one bogo on buy (2) of the glade candles and get one free. The other was buy a twin pack of refills and get the glade mist starter kit for free.

        • Jordyn’s mommy

Hi DianneL, the BOGO’s for glade were in last weeks SS.  9/16 and the glade is on sale with a buy $12 get $4 back.  Pair that with some BOGO’s and u might have a great deal.  I mean, who doesn’t want their house to smell yummy!!! :) HTH

aquaphor coupon on their facebook website, under the “athletes” tab

    • wendyc33

If you have these coupons this is my scenario on the glade products.
You can buy 1 fragrance mist starters at $4.00 and buy 2 glade plugins at 4.00 each=8.00. Total of 12.00 plus tax. Use the coupon free fragrance mist wyb 2 plugins will take off 4.49. and use one coupon for 2.00/2 plugins and pay 6.65 or less but my tax is 9.5%. Get back $4.00 ecb.

      • Trish

Also, check your binders……I had printed some glade coupons a while back that are no longer available but they were for b1g1 on the fragrance mist starter kits.  Heres what I did……
2 fragrance mist starter kits ($4 each), and 4  9 oz. room sprays ($.99 each).  Used b1g1 fragrance mist (took off 4.49) and (2) $2/2 glade products (makes those free.  Paid $2 plus tax and got back $4 ecb

        • Trish

oops, forgot to mention that I also used a $2 off fragrance mist coupon.  I re-read my post and the math didn’t make sense (lol) Actually only paid $1.50 plus tax.

    • guest11

I went to Cvs but they didnt seem to have the Glade Expression Oil difussers. Is this just at my store our are there some at other CVS?

      • Jrmartin

I looked at two different CVSes (one is “big” and one is not), and didn’t see them at either.  Would’ve been nice to get for free when I bought a candle, but oh, well!

      • Leslie

My CVS didn’t have them either.

      • tnkat

        my cvs didn’t either.

    • Leslie

Has anyone done/tried the free Stayfree maxipads deal using the $2.00 off coupons? The post says they are b1g1 free at a cost of 3.99 and to use 2 of those coupons making them both free. I just got back from my CVS and there is not a package for 3.99 that is on sale b1g1 free. The smallest one is 4.19 but it doesn’t meet the guidelines(on quantity) for the sale.

      • MIsa

The post is incorrect, it’s not the smaller count ones that are on sale for my ad at least. The B1G1 sale is for 28-48 count which are priced at $6.19.

        • Mcleodsc

6.19 here too. I stopped by the Dollar General and used up my coupons there. Got them FREE!

        • Leslie

Thanks! I wondered if the post might have been wrong on that. Because what you say, the 6.19 price was the cheapest b1g1 at my store too…and I couldn’t get the math to work out in my head to get those free with my coupons! LOL

        • Leslie

      • Supermom997

I also noticed this.  When I was browsing the shelves, the only ones marked BIGI were for $6.79 and higher.  Although the add does say 28-48 ct I believe.  So i asked a manager because the 32 count are $4.19  with no b1g1.  She told me they were b1g1 free. So i of course was excited and when I went to the counter to purchase bogo.  I told her it was not correct, that they were $4.19 and the other lady told me they were b1g1.  So she credited me back my money and charged me $4.19 b1g and I got them both for .19.  It was a hassle but they are always good to me!

        • Supermom997

Oops, I must have edited that last one wrong.  When i first purchased them they charged me 6.79 bogo price which was wrong.  So when i brought it to her attention, i showed her they are 4.19 b1g1.  I don’t know if all stores will do this for you though.

    • tnkat

maybe this is well known out in coupon/deals world but I learned something last night at my local cvs.  I went in about 9pm armed with my deals for the week.  The clerk explained as she was pulling the special tags from items that: after 4pm on Saturday, you can still get the weekly deals PLUS the new upcoming deals. Maybe it’s just my local store but it’s worth checking out.

      • Susan

Yep–been that way for a LONG time.

      • mrn1

Unfortunately not all stores turn their sales on early.  The store in my area never does.  Thanks for sharing.

At my store it is that way. the cashier said that you get whatever deal is better if the item has a different price for each week.

    • Eccangel31

I have a question. If the red box is printing 4/12 f cosmetics can I combine that with a 5.00/2 almay coupon that printed for the red box? Thanks

      • ireneY

I did today — and the manager rung me up, too! To put this deal over the top, I found $2/1 tear pads on a display. Yeah!

    • asw0627

Free Glade sprays, scrubbing bubbles, and moneymaker on Venus razors.  Bought (6) 9 oz glade air fresheners, (2) scrubbing bubbles bathroom cleaners, and 2 venus razors.  The glade and scrubbing bubbles were all free ($4 OOP and get $4 ECBs) and the venus razors were a MM. The cheapest Venus razors were $6.99 and they were not marked as part of the $5 ECB promotion but they triggered the ECB and I used the $4 MQ.

      • Becky

how do you get the scrubbing bubbles for free?

        • asw0627

Bought (6) Glade sprays, (2) scrubbing bubbles and I used (2) $2/2 glade coupons, (2) $1/1 glade coupons, and (1) $2/2 scrubbing bubbles coupons.  My total was $4 after coupons plus tax and then I got $4 ECBs back.  I didn’t have to pay anything OOP because I had $4 ECBs already but if you didn’t you would just pay $4 and then get $4 ECBs back.

      • Becky

how do you get the scrubbing bubbles for free?

    • Andersoncouponmommy

Did anyone else get their Get, Give, Save $5 rebate returned because you purchased Covergirl natureluxe products instead of regular Covergirl? I didn’t realize it excluded the Natureluxe line because “it’s new” otherwise I would have purchase the old stuff.

    • Xtrancxtra

I am pretty new to this but read everyone’s comments and people don’t seem to be having this problem. Last week I did two transactions and both of them I should have had a zero balance according to my calculations (I included tax) after I uswd ECBs and coupons. On both transactions I ended up with a balance and when I asked why, the cashier said that it was tax on the amount BEFORE my deductions and that the ECBs couldn’t be used to pay tax (he gave me some ECBs I tried to pay with back). Does this sound right? Why would I be paying tax on a total before my coupons and why would I pay tax on an item I am supposed to get free (bogo coupon)? I still got several items for a very cheap price so I’m not complaining but I was just curious if this is actually the way it works so I can properly calculate next time.

      • yepyep

tax is done differently in different states, and i’ve noticed that tax even in charleston sc is done differently place to place.  i can walk out of cvs not having paid a dime with using extra bucks, but at harris teeter i always have to pay the tax on stuff i’m getting for free

        • Mcleodsc

In Sumter, SC the Cvs charges tax after coupons and the Wags charges after coupons. It must vary from store to store.

          • guest

yup, NC CVS works that way too.  Not that I am complaining, we are still robbing them but why should we have to pay the government tax on a coupon value! It is silly….  Even if you use coupons with food stamps in NC you will have a cash balance to pay at the end of the transaction sometimes for a few cents tax on the coupons…

          • guest

      • Sheila_P

Each state has different rules on sales tax.  In most cases, you have to pay the sales tax on the amounts before manufacturer coupons, but after store coupons.  CVS is a little harder to figure out because some of their CRT coupons are store and some are mfr (same with ECBs).  However, in general, your store is right.

      • cheesecakeplz

In NC, it is always taxed before hand.  ECB can not be used towards tax.  I would like it the other way, but it’s not.

      • mrn1

I pay tax on everything on before coupon prices-9% tax rate.  For some items that are listed as free, I always take into account that I am actually paying that 9% tax and it makes it a not so good deal.  He was correct in saying you cannot use an ECB to pay taxes.  They are always more than willing to tell you your subtotal if you ask so that you know exactly how many ECBs to give.  I never can plan my trips to the T before shopping as my store rarely has everything on my list in stock, so I usually wing it and can’t pre-plan my exact amount due.  If you are in situations like that, just ask your subtotal and realize there will be taxes to pay.  Just remember to keep taxes in mind when deciding whether a deal is good for you or not.  HTH

      • Soberkitty

Read the fine print on your coupons almost all of them say customer pays tax.

    • idontunderstandhaha

Can someone explain to me how the venus deal works as a money maker? I’m having a difficult time figuring out how to do it.  I have b1g1 and dollars off.

      • ireneY

I’d like to know, too. The deal was a bust for me. Bought two of the $7.99 Venus. Tried to use BOGO and $3 Q. The $3 Q beeped and no ECBs printed. Manger forced one $5 since the ad says limit one. :(

      • Andersoncouponmommy

There is a Blue Venus 1 Count razor without any extra cartridges (non-disposable) for $6.79 at my store. Use the $4/1 any venus refillable razor from RP 8/12, pay 2.79 get back 5ecb. If you have a % off coupon that would make it cheaper. You can’t use bogo since these aren’t disposable.

The ad this weeks says buy any Venus refillable razor and get $5 ECBs but it does not list a price. All the Venus razors at my store were marked with the promotion EXCEPT the cheapest Venus refillable razor which was regular price $6.99. I used the $4 MQ from the RP 8/12 insert which brought the price down to $2.99 + tax each. I purchased two and it triggered the $5 ECB both times. Since the razor was regular priced I was also able to use the 25% off CVS coupon that came by email awhile ago, which made the deal even sweeter. This may or may not be a glitch. What is apparent is the fact that you can do this multiple times because even though I had already done the deal twice my receipt continued to say I had times left to do the deal again.

        • Bjbarbwire55

I have noticed that you received a CVS coupon by e-mail. How can I request those? I am an avid CVS shopper and have never received any coupons by e-mail nor in the mail.
          Thanks.

          • VP22

You can not actually request them. Do you have an online CVS account? If not, sign up. Also sign up for Beauty Club. They tend to send out the emails randomly. I got them regularly for about a year and then it stopped for a good while but in the past month or two I have received them almost weekly.

            • Bjbarbwire55

Does anyone know if the crest whitestrips are a deal? Theres a 10 off coupon at the red box that printing and i think there $5 EB and I was seeing that you can get a $10 off mail in rebate. Has anyone purchased this? Is this a deal?

I looks online, the online price is 25 something.  If there is a 5 ecb, then it would be free with the rebate, but thats the online price.

just called the store, 7ct: 67.99, 4ct: 52.99, 10ct: 74.99 and 20ct 53.99.  they are different levels of whitening power.

Went to CVS this morning and got a good deal on diapers. Purchased 4 jumbo packs of Huggies Slip on diapers. Used 4 $2 coupons and a $5 off $15 in Huggies products that I received in the mail. Total was $26.75 and got $10 EB. About $4 each!

      • Julie

I am planning to do the same thing….I need a deal badly on the slip-on diapers. They are expensive but the only thing that will really work well with my petite daughter who is potty training (Pull-Ups start at size 2T/3T and are WAY too big!)  I hope my CVS is well stocked!!!

I love CVS!   I just got a random coupon in the mail for a FREE box of John Freida Color Foam haircolor with a value up to 13.29!!    Whoo-hoo…free is awesome!!  No idea why or how I got this coupon…but it is awesome. BTW I tried to originally redeem at Walmart…no luck.     Walmart brags about price matching and using compeitor coupons…but you can’t stack…why would I go there and do this then?

      • Mmpollard06

i got the same coupon but they stopped selling the hair color at my cvs. i waited until i had to go by another cvs to use it, but at least i got it. by the way i dont think walmart accepts competitors coupons but they do price match.

        • J4kaye7321

I was told at my Walmart in Coral Springs that they do accept competitor coupons, but so far I have never been able to do this……price matching okay,  but a pain…I live right by Publix and CVS so I usually just go there.

          • Bamasaver

Walmart only accepts competitors’ coupons that specify a price for an item, not ones for an amount off the price.  In effect, that’s just the same thing as price matching.

I went to CVS today and I have to say I was very frustrated with how it all turned out. I have never posted on here but as I was cheking out it came to my mind that today would be the first time I would be. I went in for pantene shampoo/conditioner, herbal essences shampoo/conditioner, brachs candy, nivea products, and the glade deal. I had coupons for everything in but they wouldn’t use them all. First of all, they didn’t have all the glade products in stock so I got regular room spray. They didn’t want to accept that coupon which would mess up me getting my ecbs back. But I had the other coupons that gave me free diffusers when you buy the candle along with a coupon that gave $1/2 candles. He said he couldn’t use that because it was stacking.

This was just the start of a very embarrassing trip to say the least. Not only did he reject those coupons but also told me that I couldn’t use the Brachs coupons because it was for non holiday kinds. To top it off, I had printed the Nivea lotion and it said “available at Walgreens” and he said it wasn’t valid there.

The manager came up to void the transaction because I knew I wasn’t going to purchase this stuff without being able to use my coupons the cashier said that he needed to void due to stacking. I explained to them that I had no bad intentions and she (the manager) said very sharply, “our jobs are in jeopardy if we let people stack coupons”. I understand that they and us couponers have to follow their rules but I left there feeling like a criminal.

So with this trip, I ended up with the free thermocare patch, 1 pantene shampoo and conditioner and 2 herbal essences shampoos. I had b1g1 free coupons for both. I got the tresemme shampoo and conditioner too.  I also had downloaded the 25% off to my card and didn’t get it either, but after reading everyone elses blogs, you have to get items not on sale (so i doubt i will ever use it lol).

Sorry to ramble on about this trip but I left there very frustrated and I guess it is one of those things that you would just have to have been there to experience. Hopefully I will get a few better deals with the ecbs that I have left over that I should’ve used today but thought I was going to get the 25%  off my entire oder. (thats why I didn’t split it up)

      Thanks for listening! :)

      • Madisonanita

Don’t feel bad…or alone. I once had a manager at walgreens tell me that I was stealing (because she didn’t think my coupons were right) & she wasn’t losing her job over me. I was SO embarrased! That manager has been ugly to me ever since. I have, at this point, stopped going to that walgreens. I even moved all my prescriptions to cvs.

Take your buy the candle get the diffuser free coupons over to Target.  The coupon has a max value of $8.99 and it is taking off the entire value even though the diffuser only rings up to $5.99.  There is also a Target promotion running where if you buy the diffuser you get the refill free.  You can get a candle, diffuser kit, and refill all for FREE!

        • SAM n LOVE

This is awesome! I hope I can make it to Target this week! :)

        • mrn1

Although not meant for me, I took your advice and just went to Target for the Glade deal.  I happened to have both the Manufacturer and Target newspaper coupons that said buy a candle, get the Diffuser free.  Since one was a MQ and one was a TQ, I bought 1 candle at $2.99 (and used a IP TQ $1 off Glade) and used both the TQ and MQ and got 2 diffusers free and then got two free diffuser refills with the in store promotion. It did take of the full $8.99 with the MQ, but took the actual $5.99 with the TQ.  I also bought 6 Red Baron pizzas and got the 2 free 7up 12 packs and a Purell hand sanitizer.  My total for all was $16.51 and that included 9% sales tax.  That was an awesome trip to Target!

          • Okellyatl

Thanks so much for the Target info..I picked up 2 Diff Starter Kits–3 Diff Refills–2 candles–4 2pack oil refills for aprox. $9

            • mrn1

              Your welcome!  Awesome!!!

      • Allen5577

The percentage off coupons are great for ECB deals that are at regular price.  Ex. the Nature made vitamins deal this week and the Nexxus deal last week.

      • Ginger

Sam in love if there is another cvs in your area try them because it can make a difference with the manager.  I have a store that is just awesome that will go out of their way for you but I have been to some that aren’t as friendly

      • Esyke623

I’m so sorry that you had to go through that.  My CVS was the exact same way.  Workers were scanning their own cards, rather than the customers’, cashiers were refusing to scan coupons (refusing even to try them, even though they were fine– usually because the picture on the coupon was different from what I was buying, but the wording is what matters!  And they wouldn’t read it carefully or try it.  Erg!).  You get your whole scenario worked out, and they make you feel like a criminal, and then everyone behind you in line glares at you as you leave.  NOT fun!  All I can tell you is that I started calling CVS corporate.  A LOT.  I called when they scanned their own cards, when they were very rude, and when they were coupon unfriendly.  Eventually, it got better.  Hang in there!  I’m sure you’re not the only one experiencing this– hopefully everyone will call in, and their rudeness will change!

      • SAM n LOVE

Thank you all for the encouragement and advice! I am going to go back to a different CVS today and see if I can get some of the stuff. Fingers crossed! :) If I continue to have difficulties I will certainly contact their corporate. I haven’t had any trouble with them trying to use their cards but I’ll definitely make sure I’m on my toes about that too!

      • nurseteri

Where did you find the 25% off?

    • SAM n LOVE

I just went to CVS and my revlon purchase did not ring up as buy 1 get 1 50% off. Anyone else with this problem?

Also.. on my receipt it says I’ve bought 1 revitalens (contact cleaner) and need to buy 1 more in order to get 1 free. I bought that weeks ago and I don’t remember ever seeing a buy 2 get 1 free offer on that product. Since it posted to my receipt is it still going on?

      • Allen5577

I believe the contact solution promo going through the end of September.  I has been on my receipt for MONTHS.  When I got the second one a few weeks ago, I received a coupon at the red machine for a free one.

        • Christine

Thanks, I’m going to try it tomorrow!

      • Just FYI since we all love to save … The best place I’ve found buy quality batteries is Home Depot.  They have a 30 pack of AA’s (Energizer) for around $13.  My hubby picks them up for me when he’s picking up supplies for his job :)

        • Jrmartin

Home Depot had Rayovac 60 packs (30 AAA and 30 AA) for $10 on black friday last yr!

      • Crystalgoodwin3

        Which paper were they in?

        • ericswifeowensmom

They were in the actual newspaper instead of the coupon inserts a couple weeks ago. Mine was page 9a of the tennessean.

      • ericswifeowensmom

My CVS had the Gillette Pro-Glide gift pack (razor, 2 cart. shave cream, etc.) for $11.99, less than the regular Pro-Glide at $12.99, and it worked for the $5 ecb. Used the Buy Gillete razor and get mach 3 free coupon and $4 Pro-Glide coupon. With 25% off almost free. Also bought 10 fun size Hershey’s for $.99 each, using (5) $1/2 coupons. $10 – $5 = $5 – $3 ecb = $2 for 10 packs.

      • hollybee

I just did the same Gillette deal as above only I also used a MCM $4 off cosmetics coupon. They were out of the gift pack so I got a Pro-Glide razor instead.

    • Esyke623

Does anyone know when CVS does that promo where you buy a $20 gift card and get a free $5 one?  Are they doing that again this year?  I hope so, and I hope it comes soon!

      • Robroy207

I remember that happened about Mother’s Day this year.  Hope they do it again!  LOVE IT.

        • Esyke623

Mother’s Day?  Rats.  I was hoping it was coming sooner!  :)  But you’re right!  I love it!!  I’ll keep my eyes open :)

      Help!!
Does anyone know where I can find the $1.00 coupon for the Glade room spray that is on sale at CVS for .99 cts? I almost missed that!  The site posted said that the offer is no longer available.

      Thanks!

      • ericswifeowensmom

I went to rightathome dot com and clicked “special offers and coupon” onthe right about mid-page.

        • Bjbarbwire55

Thanks for the response. I think I missed out on that great deal. The coupon must no longer exist, unless I’m just overlooking it.

          • Andersoncouponmommy

hey, I just checked at rightathome dot com and it’s still available. It’s the very last coupon on the page. $2 off any 2 Glade excluding 8oz sprays and solids. The new cans are 8oz but my CVS still had a few old 9oz cans. good luck.

            • HateToBL8

It doesn’t let me print for some reason.  It says something about not supporting my printer or something.  Anyone else have this problem?

            • Bjbarbwire55

Once I found the coupon, I had no problem printing it. For some reason I had to put in my membership information each I requested the coupon.

            • Bjbarbwire55

Thanks so much!  I was able to get the coupons. I had tunnel vision I guess. I was looking for a $1.00 coupon. Thanks for the followup. Will check it out tomorrow.

            • Bjbarbwire55

Thanks to you, I found my coupon for the glade product and was able to get 4 free with no hassel about the size.
              Thanks

Is the Demasilk ECB for another Demasilk product or can it be used for anything?

      • Guest101

usually ECB’s are good on any purchase (except what it specifies at the bottom like you can’t use them towards a tobacco or stamps purchase)

      • Beachanklets

      • I did the same deal today with Revlon pressed powder.  I used two $5/1 q’s, 1 $4/12 CVS q, and 1 ECB.  Total due:  16 cents!!

    • Supermom997

Just wanted to share my experience at CVS this week.  Nothing seemed to be ring up right for me!  The stayfree pads for starters were coming up $6.79 b1g1 when they were on the shelf for $4.19 with no b1g1 sign.  So the cashier had to edit that.  Then the scrubbing bubbles larger size than 16 oz were marked on sale for 2 for $6 but when I brought them to the counter they rang up $3.79 a piece.  So i showed the cashier but she made me get the 16 oz ones insted for $3.00 even though they were clearly in the right spot marked wrong.  To top it all off, when we got back the the counter, someone had stolen my $8.79 in extra care bucks we left on the counter with my other products and coupons!  Of course, after looking for them for 3 minutes and the line getting long, the lady behind me says, “Oh, these?  I found these on the counter a little bit ago!”  Who takes another person’s extra care bucks off the counter???????

      • asw0627

“I found them on the counter”….Really?  That means clearly they weren’t yours to put your hands on.  People these days.

        • zeb

reminds me of a time I was in the park with my kids and a lady had lost her cell phone.  She was asking people if they had seen it and someone pointed out the person who had picked up the phone.  Then the lady asked that woman if she had found a phone and she said no.  The person who witnessed it all offered to call the cell phone and it rang in the theif’s pocket.  Busted!

          • zeb

also, to make matters worse, the theif said “oh, I didn’t know it was yours” when she was caught.

            • Ella_sinder

what was she thinking?? she cant even use it without the extra care card!

            • krysta

it was probably some “sweet old inocent lady” lol. they are the worst. I met one in the dg parking lot that ask me to buy a little handmade angel for $10, because she couldn’t walk and needed leg surgery, now i see her all the time walking and driving around. Carma is a #$%$!

            • IG

What goes around comes around, my friend. “She’ll get what’s coming to her. I have no problem telling someone, “no, thank you.”

            • uthorns1976

What an idiot.  What good will someone else’s extra bucks do the thief??  Give me a break.

      • Esyke623

Wow.  That is so crazy!!  Obviously, if the cashier and customer are in the middle of a purchase, and there are coupons on the counter, they belong to the customer who is checking out!  Good grief.  It’s not like stolen extra bucks would work on another person’s card, anyway.  That’s so crazy!!  I’m glad at least you got them back!  I’m surprised she admitted to it!

I have a Dove Deal on my receipt showing “Spend 15 Get 5 EB”  Amount towards this Reward 23…Amount Needed to Earn Reward 7

There was a Dove deal last week…is it still going on?  Thanks for your help!

      • uthorns1976

I have the same thing.  Last week, I spent $7 and one of my receipts from this week shows I need $8 more.  I know there’s a year-long deal going on…spend $50, get $5 RR.  I have done that twice.  I didn’t think that weekly deals went for more than one week. Would have to be a monthly deal.

        I just read on another blog that it’s a monthly deal…9/9 – 10/13.

        • Okellyatl

Thanks….I ran into my local CVS this evening and saw that it is a monthly deal until 10/13.  I am going to take a look at last weeks deals and  take advantage of  it…again!  Thanks for the info!
