Love it! Heads up, the Nexus coupon expires the 28th, and so can’t be used with next week’s deal. Which is a total bummer. But excited about the candy!

I cant find the link for the 10/27 coupon

        •  I just printed from the link on this post & sadly, it’s the coupon that expires 9-28 =(  I want to do this deal too.  Wasted ink … bummer ;)

The $3 printable from today?  Mine is good until 10/27.

    • PamAlabam

I am just getting back into couponing after a break of a couple of years.  I found that the store prices at my small town CVS are significantly higher than the prices posted online.  I thought I’d be getting two good deals (based on online prices) but one in store deal was just slighlty cheaper than WMart and one would have been the same price as WMart.  That’s not worth the hassle to me.  Are any of you seeing this in bigger cities?

      • Esyke623

Most of CVS’s items (even sale items) are much more expensive than the store.  The best deals are the ones where you can combine ECBs, coupons, and sales . . . often, you can get items for free, or almost free! :)  Welcome back to the world of couponing . . . sadly, the retailers have cheapened up a bit, I’m sure, since you were here . . . the coupons aren’t worth as much as they used to be!

      • Luci

I’ve noticed it depends on the area. When I lived in a larger metro area, generally the regular prices were higher in the newer shopping areas with lots of expensive subdivisions while the older retail areas priced items lower. With Pullups that was often a $1-1.25 difference.

        • Luci

BTW that’s amongst the CVS stores. With sales, the prices were often better than Walmart’s everyday prices. CVS sale items were near the Kroger sale prices, but add in the deals and instore coupons then CVS was a often a better price. CVS everyday prices are high, but it’s easier to get in and out  compared to the larger stores.

I use it when I buy something B1G1 50% off….   like the cover girl.  It is makeup that I use anyway so the 25% off will be on the one regular price.

      • LoveCVS

The 25% will NOT work on B1G1 50%. It only works on items that are not on sale. B1G1 50% is considered a sale.

I went to cvs to get some milk and at the bottom of my receipt I got a 10 dollar off 50 purchase.  I would be excited if I could find 50 dollars of things worth buying with sales and coupons, but 50 is way more than I ever spend in one transaction at cvs, even before coupons

I knew HT let’s me use WAGs RR but you can use a $10 off $50 from cvs at HT?  That sounds wonderful!

          • Noelle8818

Some will. Mine in Chapel Hill does. But they’ve told me that it has to be after all other discounts. So last night I took it, got a bunch of stuff ($95 worth), purchased $35 in HT gift cards so my total would be $50 after all discounts. I used the $10 off $50 CVS, plus the $10 off $50 Harris Teeter one from Recyclebank. I ended up paying $37.56, with a $1 catalina, and $35 HT gift cards. So excited!

It’s easy to spend $50.00 before coupons, so if you have good coupons for items that will add up to $50 you will spend less than that plus the $10 off.  I do it all the time and I never spend $50 usually way less.

        • Dtcox1

me too i may use mine on the p and g deal almay and drinks will pay 24.50 after coupons get back 14.00 in x b so all thisfor 10.50 plus tax if all is in stock havenot  got a 10.00 off 50.00 in a long time thanks cvs

There is a $5 savingstar ecoupon wyb $ 20 of unilever products.

      • asw0627

Does the item price before or after coupons count towards your $20 threshold?

        • TraceyMH

with SavingStar it is always before coupons

    • LouSha

I have a CVS $4 off $2 cosmectic coupon can  I use this on Lotion and deodarant?

      • LouSha

        I meant $12 not $2

      • Allen5577

I would not consider them “cosmetic” items.

        • LouSha

Thank did not want to get embarassed

          • Danielle

Why would you purposely use a cosmetic coupon for lotion and deodorant?  The coupon is not for either item.  And just because Josie did does not make it right.  It is coupon ethics like this that cause the policy changes and cashier to look at coupon use as “stealing” from the store.

            • JUGrad

Settle down Danielle, your response is quite rude.

Back in the day when CVS and WAGS were considered DRUG stores and not Convieniece Stores, “cosmetics” was not just  “makeup” as you’re implying but rather ANY HEALTH AND BEAUTY item. Considering you find deoderant and lotion in the “cosmetic area” then I would consider it a cosmetic. BTW- Used to work for WAGs and thats how the store was broken up.

LouSha- Ask your store, I bet they won’t have an issue with it.

      • Josie

yes you can, well  I did it few times.

    • LouSha

I just logged onto my cvs.com and i got some coupons $1.50 off 2 colgate total advanced $2 off clear for men $2 off any deodarant purchase of $7.

could someone please help? What is this “over $22 in Coupons booklet on product” thing?

for example : Dawn Dish Liquid, 9-10.3 oz, 96¢
-.50/1 Dawn Hand Renewal w/ Olay Beauty, Over $22 in Coupons booklet on product
      (makes it 46¢)
is this a book? or what is it ?

    • lil A’s mom

for those who know “the rules” at CVS:  can you get a raincheck for a sale even if the shelf is not cleared for the sale?  Can I get a raincheck for some ginger ale at whatever price it is that week even if there is still ginger ale on the shelf (for example)?? thanks so much!

      • A1m5c1r

Rainchecks are a customer-courtesy given when a sale item is out of stock, so I don’t see how you could get one if the product is still available.

      • momof3

if there is a limit and you are not able to buy the limit due to not enough stock, yes. Or if there are several items, like Tide has several different kinds, if one kind is out you can get a raincheck for that kind.

      • mrn1

what purpose would that serve?  Just wondering, not trying to be rude.

      • Guest

My CVS allows it.  For instance, if I know a good coupon is coming out the next week for an item on sale this week, I can get a raincheck and then combine with the coupon.  I’d check with your local CVS, but I wouldn’t think they would care.

      • flower_mom

The store loses money when you use your raincheck, so they are being awfully nice if they are giving them out when they still have those items on the shelf.

    • Jenlc2007

Just thought I would share that p&g will make a $.02 donation to the breast cancer foundation for every coupon redeemed in this Sunday’s insert! So hopefully everybody can use some if these coupons coming out:)

    • AlyFawkes416

Okay I have a question ladies and gents, for the P&G deal, with the BOGO 50% will the two items count regular price for the $30 or will it just be the regular price + half price that will count? thanks!

      • VP22

It will be the regular + half that counts toward the deal. Straight bogo only counts the one you pay for and bogo 50% counts one reg and 50% of the other.

    • Thom

I recieved a $3 coupon from CVS for my birthday. I love gifts!!

        • Guest

They sent them in the mail last week.  I think it was random . . .

      • Lholsombeck

I used my coupon today, I had over $30 in huggies products and the coupon took off $10 instead of $5!!!!!

      • Lholsombeck

    • Luci

I’m trying to view the CVS Weekly Ad online. Their website is functional, but when I try to view the circular, it’s not there on the page. Can’t look at next week’s either. Noticed this since last night (Thursday) and it’s still happening right now. Is this happening to anyone else?

      • michelle

I had that trouble too. I was able to view it by clicking the red rectangle and viewing the full screen view. Hope this helps.
        Michelle

    • Jordyn’s mommy

BE CAREFUL!!!! I got an early copy of the ad and the gillette deal of $5 ECB when you buy a razor OR cartridges is $5 when you buy a razor AND cartridges… at least in my local ad it is and that is a big difference.  HTH…

    • Rae

Free Pantene Conditioner or Styler wyb Shampoo (SS 9/16 exp 10/31) will help to get the $10/$10 P&G deal pretty easily!

      • Rae

        I meant “$10/$30”

    • Rae

      Also, there is a $.75/1 Dawn (P&G 8/26 exp 9/30) out there!

    • Bonnie Hollis

I used a coupon that was in the mail, a free Pantene conditioner WYB Pantene shampoo, up to 6.99. The Shampoo was 5.99 but the coupon still took 6.99 off the purchase. WOOT!

      • sjgsjg

I got those coupons in my newspaper so it will be a mm for me with the $10 ecb.

        • Chloe

Which paper did you get those in…and where at in the paper?

          • sjgsjg

i think SS 9/16 exp 10/31, not sure where because i cut them out

        • Tesha

which insert where the B1G1 pantene q’s in?

          • sjgsjg

            i think SS 9/16 exp 10/31

            • Krysta

im so happy i have those coupons. will they let me use one b1g1 coupon and the $1/2 if i buy two?

            • flower_mom

You will have to buy 4, use one $1/2 (going toward the ones you are buying), and then two BOGO coupons.  HTH  :)

      • C.Tafuna

We actually did that last week with the Herbal Essences deal. They were 2/$7 and the coupon was BOGO valued up to 6.99 so they both came out free :) Gotta make sure you know if your CVS enters them manually or if it automatically comes off.

      • Ashley

That’s cheating the system and the store. They lose that money and don’t paid for it. You’re stealing money from the company. If you love the store and support the deals you should be honest. Tell the cashier to only key in the amount needed to cover the cost of the product. The cashier could lose their job if corporate finds out.

        • couponjunkie

I used the Pantene coupon last week at Target and the coupon rang up at 6.99. I bought shampoo for $3.79 and styler for $3.99. When she rang it up for 6.99 I told her the styler was only 3.99. She said that if the computer took it off it was ok and she even asked a manager and she agreed. I’m not going to argue with their policy. She wrote down 6.99 on the coupon and that’s what they will get reimbursed for.

        • Gabi

That is incorrect. I asked my cvs manager today. He told me they can’t even manually override the price for the Pantene bogo, and yes, they do get $6.99 back from the manufacturer. So they actually MAKE money on that deal.

    • Christie

JENNY: With all the New Schick Coupons that came out yesterday can you add them to the deal above. It will make them much cheaper.

      • Mahrobertson763

I think Jenny is going into the hospital and may not be able to add? I miss her already.

        • Dtcox1

me too …… i wish her well

          • Fortunefairye

why is she in the hospital…I have not  been on the site in a while

            • Qpie2012

              She’s having a baby!  Yay!

      • April

I just saw her the the conference last week and she was about to pop! She looked so cute though! I also wish her well!

    • Ella_sinder

question: is there an amount limit on coupons in one transaction? i’m working on a big scenario and it involves over $100 in q’s. also… is the 10 off 50 still printing for anyone? i hope to get that tomorrow.

      • Susan

        I got the 10 off 50 today.

      • Kaoscasa

I just got it in the past hour.

    • Bannie_13

Silly question, if I buy PandG products today (my store starts sales on sat night) it will count towards the $10 wyb $30 for the ad that “officially” starts tomorrow right? Got a few coupons I would like to use and can’t get to the store tomorrow.

    • Nikki

Wow-another slow week for any real killer deals.Things sure have changed in the last yr.
I do better these says @ WGS or RA. And of course our beloved Publix.
Love all those MM’in’ Bailey’s creamers this week!

      • me

how are the creamers moneymakers?  I have all the coupons, but at $2.19 each before coupons, they aren’t moneymakers that I can see.   Please explain.

        • Hairxpert4

there is a printable $1.50 off 1 Q that i was actually able to print 3 of. That with the $1 YAF Q makes it a .31 MM.

          • mrn1

thanks for replying.  I guess I don’t really look at it as a moneymaker, just a freebie.  After taxes they aren’t moneymakers for me :(

Ok…On the P&G Deal…Lets say i have a Q for free swiffer refill WYB starter kit.  Both will go toward the $30 max right?

      • VP22

        Yes they will.

    • weezie

Can you use the 10 off 50 and  4 off 20 facial skin care together?

      • guest

Your total would have to be 70.00 before coupons

        • Ctrinkle

I used a $10 off of $50 and a $4 off of $12 makeup in the same transaction with just a total of $50 so it should work.

      • Jrmartin

I’m pretty sure you can, b/c one is off of your entire order, and one is off of a specific type of product.  Can’t say for sure, though.

      • Jrmartin

      • eb6

The fine print on those coupons say you can only use one $/$$ coupon in a transaction.

    • just so everyone knows the olay bodywash is actually limit 2 i bought them tonight & thats what the tag says

    • Charles

Question for everyone.  I received the email coupon from CVS for 25% off your purchase.  It expires 9/30.  How will this work with my coupons and ECB requirements?  For example, $10 ECB with $30 in P&G Products?

      • noetab

It won’t work for items on sale, but you can use it on items with extrabucks with regular prices.

I think the p&g promotion are everything on sale so it won’t work.

an idea to use your 25% coupon to physicians formula, loreal lip/nail, loreal haircolor, gillette venur razor and cartridges, shick deals

      • Allen5577

The Nexxus deal is a good one to use it on this week too.  Use it and the $3 off printables and you should get free Nexxus.  Plus these will go toward your beauty club account.

        • asw0627

Thanks for the heads up!!!  Bought two Nexxus products at regular price $10.99 and used (2) $3 off coupons.  My 25% coupon took off $5.50.  I paid 10.48 OOP and got $10 ECBs back.

    • Krysta

can anyone tell me if cvs will let me use the bogo coupon and the $1/2, since it will be one coupon per item?

      • Christie

        No

      • Kyle

Well, I think you can.  Last week Jenny posted a scenario with the Herbal Essences that was on sale.  It was if you spend $15, get $5 ECB. So her scenario was:
        (2) HE Shampoo- $5.99 each
        (2) HE Conditioner – $5.99 each
        Total: $23.96
        – (1) $3/2 HE Coupon
        – (2) Buy 1 Shampoo, Get 1 Conditioner Free (up to $6.99)
Which would be $6.98, minus $4 ECB from last week.
For a total of $2.98, and still get $5 ECB
So in that scenario, would those coupons work?  THANKS!

        • wendyc33

Yes if your buying 4.  the b1g1 attaches to 2, and 3.00/2 attaches to the other 2 shampoo.

      • Mclaughlin Rebecca

        If your CVS allows stacking!

      • Christie

Again, NO if your only buying 2 items. You would 3 items to use these two Qs.

    • yessica

can anyone tell me if they are having trouble looking at the comments on this page on any apple device such ipod, ipad, because i’m unable to see it from the last two days.

      • mrn1

I have made a couple of comments from my Mac that haven’t shown up.  I just thought the moderator didn’t allow them for some unknown reason.

      • Scw41

Couldn’t see comments at my house on ipad as well. Switched to Mac laptop and no problem. Not sure what the glitch is

      • bw25

I’ve had the same problem with my iphone and ipad.

      • asw0627

I am….I was trying to view comments on my iphone and I couldn’t see any.

      • aria

same here, and it is not only on apple devices, android also.

      • ScubagirlKim

me too!! I emailed Jenny Sunday night about it but haven’t heard back yet. I hope they fix it soon for the Ipad.

    • Family

I wanted to buy the Schick razor but unsure of what coupon to use. I have a B1G1, $2 and a $4.Which one would be the best? Thanks for your help.

      • Mclaughlin Rebecca

The b1g1 with the $4 one,our CVS let’s us stack!

      • Christie

What B1G1 Q do you have. The only ones I saw were for the Silk not the ones on sale?

    • Lana

One more idea to use 25% off CVS coupon is for Nexxus deal.

    • Joey

I did not receive the RP in today’s Orlando Sentinal……anyone else?

      • I received it in mine, I am in Windermere.

      • I usually get the Sentinal, but I had to get the Daily Commericial.  Someone had stolen the inserts from the last Sentinals at my CVS.  Lame!

    • Debra

Question? On the Proctor & Gamble deal can I buy 8 shampoos and use the bogo coupons for Pantene Products and get the $10 ECB’s? Thanks for any help. These coupons were in the insert of ss 9/16.

      • Christie

Yes. ECB deals are before coupons…

      • Mclaughlin Rebecca

Yes you can it’s your total before coupons!

    • I got one of the $10/$50 thats been printing. I usually do multiple transactions and roll the ECB….$50 seems like a large amount before coupons for one purchase for me. I noticed it expires in 2 weeks, so It can be used this week or next week…Anybody got a plan for using this?

      • eb6

If you have  the Pantene BOGO coupons you can get a great deal. Buy 8 pantene,  use 2 $1/2 and 4 BOGO, If your store does not adjust down the BOGO coupons they will scan for $6.99 off each making all the shampoos close to free –  then you can buy $20 worth of other items you need and use the $10/$50 and pay only a little more than $10 and get $10 ECB back for the Pantene – its like getting $20 worth of stuff you need for almost free. If you combine it with other items on sale or things you have rainchecks or coupons for it is even better. I used a raincheck and coupons and ended up Getting $50 worth of things for only the tax and still getting $10 ECB

      • Dtcox1

i did this today with my 10,00 off 50.00 2 tide lid. 1 tide pod 3 drinks 3.67 each 4 dawns 1 crest 2 almay pads 2 covergirl shadows 2 secrets 1 phy form masc. used the coupons jenny said got 18 items  used 11.00 in x b from last week . got 94.57 for 33.46 and got 19.00 back in x b so i got all this for 14.46 not bad happy shoping

    • Kristi

Question, I had a 25% off coupon from cvs but when I printed it and went to use it (the day it expired), it would not scan and the cashier handed it back to me. I in turn called CVS cust service and the cust service rep said she would add it on my card but it would take at least 24-48 hrs, well, the item I was going to purchase was a designer perfume. Well now starting today, the perfume doesn’t give the $10 ECB, so what should I do or is there anything I can do?

      • ScubagirlKim

always get a raincheck if that happens so you can use it and get the ECB’s when you get the new % off coupon. Depending on your store manager they might issue a raincheck for you if you explain to them what happened. It’s at least worth a shot.

    • Eccangel31

Don’t forget about the coupons that were for the batteries 4.75 That was in the paper section. You can get a 16 pk of batteries for 6.89

      • Stacyannw

and those coupons expire today so you need to use them today :)

    • Mroberts27

I hit my CVS this morning for the “Aquaphor” deal; I bought 4 @ 5.29 each total a lit bit above $20; used 4 – $1 coupons &  a $5 ECB; when I paid the $10 ECB did not print out; without any questions the manager ringing me out re-rang up my purchases to get me the $10ECB from their code they can use!!! I luv luv luv my CVS in Spout Springs!!

    • Jules

Oh dear… I didn’t realize there was a 25% off coupon and I just got home from a big purchase at CVS *cries*

    • J_mathis3

does anybody know if you can do the P&G deal of $10ecb wyb $30 more than once? I got one lastnight and on my receipt it doesn’t say offer limit reached…

      • I noticed that on my receipt also. My reciept actually says Gain something…not P&G, also weird.

        • Dtcox1

did my p ang deal today too my ticket says gain deal too.

          • Watts_coupons

yeah i did the pg/gain deal today and my total was $80 before qs and i got $20 back plus earned my $5 beauty bucks and quarterly ecbs come out tomorrow! super happy gal :)

      • eb6

I did it twice and now my receipt says limit reached.

        • Kyle

So I am thinking, we are allowed to do this deal twice…unless its a glitch and CVS changes it…

      • Guest

I did this deal today and got $10 EB, but my receipt shows “Amount toward this reward: $29.78, Amount needed to earn reward: 0.22”.  It also uses the word Gain, not P&G.  Is this a glitch or is there something extra running on the side that I don’t know about?

      • Dtcox1

went today got the p and g deal too my ticket at the bottom says gain amount toward this reward 37.76 amount needed to earn is 30.00 .but i got my 10.00 in x b maybe if we keep buying gain or p and g stuff well get a surprize ha ha loved the new phys.form got one 9.99 got 7.00 back in x b

    • Katie Phillips

So the milk wasn’t on sale at my store, and I didn’t see it in the actual store ad, either. I guess this is an error?

      • Crystalgoodwin3

        Milk is very regional.
It’s actually in our ad this week but that’s unusual.

        • Katie Phillips

Oh ok! I didn’t realize that CVS had different ads in different places like the grocery stores do. Now I know=) (And knowing is half the battle…..any eighties kids in here? lol!)

          • Stacyannw

you can always go on cvs . com and look at the ad in your area before you head to the store, it is usually there on Thursday

    • Dtcox1

i picked up the phys form. mascra new one 5 times the lash for 9.99 got 7.00 back in x b love it for 3.00  p s check the new size of tide 20 loads instead of 32 loads looked in the back got the last two 32 load lady said this was the new size that came in i got the last two of old stock well well  every company is changing sizes boy you have  to look now on size and oz .

      • ctrinkle

Is that how you know if you are earning the 4%? I signed up on-line but I keep getting the double your rewards coupon from the redbox. Has signing up online not been working?

        • Ashley

I work at CVS. That coupon prints every time you scan your card until the promotion ends. You only have to scan it one time and you’re signed up until your double bucks print.

    • Suey68

Can I use the $10 off 50 ECB and buy the Nexxus Deal (10 off 20) and P & G deal (10 off 30). So, I’d basically get 10 off immediately, then 20 more ECBs?

      • Dtcox1

you should get 10.00 back on nexxus and 10.00 back on p and g deal  20.00 in x b ..ps go to walmart and print off two 3.00 off any nexxus .

    • Ckpigpig

any one can print out the Nexxus coupon?
I tried to print it then found out it has ended.
      sad~

      • Yuliyaporter

        Got the same msg :(

    • Simpliepie

      • Smartnurse2012

Where do you get 25% off coupon?

        • Simpliepie

It was emailed to me on Thursday or Friday and expired on Sept 30

          • Lu

the 25% off coupon, does expired on sept 30. IS AVAILABLE until sept 30, if you don’t open your email on Thursday and wait until Sunday, the 25% off coupon will expired 4 days after that. I learned that from another blog. And it works!! HTH

      • Ljr3000

        Wow, that rocks!!

      • Gmcouponer

Wow! You did awesome! Congrats on that.

      • Marisa Marino

The Dove Styler you purchased one for $3.00 BUT coupon you used said $6.00 ?

        • kellync

That is the max value of the coupon and my cvs doesn’t adjust the price to match the sale.

          • Marisa Marino

oh, and the coupon you used for the shampoo is it the one that says: save $1.00 on any one (1) Dove Hair Style + care product ?

            • Chris3

No, it says on any hair care item. She used two $1 coupons, 1 for shampoo and 1 for conditioner. Free stylest when you buy shampoo and conditioner only attaches to the stylest, not to the shampoo or conditioner.

    • Kyle

      Hey everyone!

So I called the Corporate Office at CVS and they told me that it was an error in the weekly ad and the P&G Deal spend $30, get $10 ECB is actually a limit of 2. I’m so excited, which means I can stock up on Tide and Cascade (:

Also, I saw on another blog that you can buy $4 off a $20 purchase coupons for CVS on ebay. Has anybody else used these? They seem legit and each one has their own barcode it seems. Any comments??

      Thanks!

      • Kyle

Wel I went to the store to do the P&G deal twice but my store wouldn’t let me because the ad shows limit 1. I told them I called corporate and said it was a limit of 2, so they called and corporate told them it was a limit of 1…????

        • mrn1

Just go back and do it again at a different store or on a different day. Not sure why they would tell you that you couldn’t do the deal twice. It does it automatically when you use your card. It is definitely a limit of 2. I shopped today.

    • jQuestion! A few weeks ago cvs advertised the same deal on physicians formula makeup and I bought $10 worth to get my $7 ECB, can I get this deal again???

      • VP22

        Yes

    • ctrinkle

Does anyone know how the 25% off coupon works. I used it on Sunday with a combination of other CVS coupons and ECB deals. I know that it does not work on sale items, but for the life of me, I can’t figure out what it did end up taking 25% off of.

      • ScubagirlKim

You take the total price of the non sale items, subtract out any CVS coupons (printed or from red machine), any ECB’s that came from green bag tag or beauty club or that printed from the red machine, and any ECB’s that were manually printed from the register (they count as a CVS coupon since they didn’t print as manufacturer coupon at the time of purchase) and that is the total that the discount will be taken from. Subtract the discount from the original total before coupons and add in the tax (if applicable based on the total after subtracting all CVS coupons and non taxable items) and that is what your out of pocket total will be. (keep in mind that even items that are b1g1 50%; the reg price item will still not count as it is considered a sale item too)

It is best to have this all calculated out before you get to the store because you will want to hand the cashier the % off coupon last to avoid it constantly recalculating if you are paying only with ECB’s. If you are going to pay oop then it doesn’t really matter what order you give the coupons. The order I usually use is All CVS Coupons, ECB’s, Manufacturer Coupons, then % off coupon then you should just have the tax left to pay.

**Keep in mind that if you typically pay for your purchase entirely with ECB’s and pay tax with a manufacturers coupon you can’t do that when you are using the % off coupon. It will void then entire coupon once you get down past the tax amount (or at least it does for me). I hope that helps.

    • BrittanyW

Went to CVS yesterday. This was what went down :)

      Transaction 1:
      4 Pantene Shampoos
      4 Pantene Conditioners
      2 Dove Men+Care Body Wash
      2 Robitussin products

      Transaction 2:
      1 Dove Men+Care Body Wash

      Deals:
Buy $30 in Procter and Gamble Products, Get $10 ecb
Buy $15 of Dove, get $5 ecb
Buy 2 Robitussin, get $2 ecb

Transaction 1: Total was $52 after extra care discounts. I had to split up the Dove Men+Care body wash b/c the coupon limited 2 per transaction. I spent $32 on the Pantene. I had 4 BOGO Pantene coupon for a free conditioner when a shampoo was purchased. The coupon took off 6.99 for each conditioner, bringing my total down to $4.04 for 4 Pantene Shampoos. (6.99×4= 27.96) so, (32-27.96=4.04). Then I was able to use 2 $1.00/2 Pantene products to get my final Pantene total to $2.02. I spent $10 on Dove and had 2 $2.00/1 coupons, bringing my total to $6 for the two Dove Body washes. The Robitussin was 4.99, and I had 2 coupons for $3.00/1, so total was 1.99 each. I paid $12 dollars, but got back $12 ecb for the Pantene and Robitussin.

Transaction 2: I bought one Dove for $5 and used a $2.00/1 coupon. Bringing my total to $3. I paid and got $5 ecb back after completing the Dove deal… So after all was said and done, I got everything FREE.

      Thanks CVS!!!!!

    • I’m excited about the Huggies deal. I got some CVS store coupons in the mail awhile back i have been waiting to use. I’m going to buy the Huggies big pack @ $18.99 and use my CVS $5/$15 Huggies products & $1 manufacturer’s coupon. After ECBs, I will get them for $10.99. For size 3s that is only 13 cents per diaper. I also have ECBs from last week to pay with to reduce my OOP even more!

Does anyone know if I can use a $4 off $20 or more and a $5 off $15 or more coupon in the same transaction at CVS?

      • If you have $35 in products then you can :) I used two $4 off $12 cosmetic q’s in the same transaction today because I had more than $24 in cosmetics.

    • I got a great deal at CVS today:
      (2)Pantene Shampoo ($4 each)
      (4) Pantene Conditioner ($4 each)
      (1) Gain 32 Load laundry detergent ($5.94)
      (2) Dawn dish detergent (.99 each)
      (2) Cover Girl Flipstick ($9.99, $4.99)
      (2) Cover Girl Outlast Lip Stain ($8.99, $4.29)
      (1) Lumene Day Firming Cream (small $3.99)
      (1) Physician’s Formula Organic Mascara (9.99)
      Used:
      (3) Pantene BOGO q’s (took off $6.99 each)
      (2) $2.50 off CG Outlast q’s
      (1) $5 off 2 Cover Girl Lip products q
      (1) 25% off CVS q (took off $2.88)
      (1) $5 off Lumene product CVS q from red box
      (2) $4 off $12 cosmetics CVS q’s from red box
      (1) $1 off Phys. Formula product
forgot my Gain coupon at home :(
Used 18.50 ECB’s from last week, from Quarterly ECB’s & Beauty Club

Total: $10.88 out of pocket, Got back $28 in ECB’s
(2 x’s P&G deal @ 10 ECB’s each, 7 ECB’s from Physicians Formula deal, 1 ECB from Green Bag Tag) plus I will get $5 ECB’s from Beauty Club in a couple days, and I am sending off for the $9.94 Physician’s Formula “try me free” rebate. So basically spent $10.88 and get almost $43 back!!!

      • Opps, my total OOP was $11.05, not $10.88.

    • MelissaB

Hi! Does anyone know if I can use the B1G1 Pantene coupons along with the $1 off 2 Pantene coupons? Wasn’t sure because they are both manufacturer’s coupons. Should I say coupons one more time?…coupons.

      • Brittany

YES! It worked for me. I had 4 BOGO and 2 $1/2.

    • mnesota kuponer

Does anyone have 2 extra robitussin coupons from 9/30 to forward to me so I can do the deal at CVS?

    • Brittany

Had an awesome trip at CVS yesterday!

      Transaction 1:
      4 Pantene Shampoos
      4 Pantene Conditioners
      2 Robitussin Products
      2 Dove Men+Care Body Wash

      Transaction 2:
      1 Dove Men+Care Body Wash

      Deals:
Buy $30 Procter and Gamble, get $10ecb
      Buy $15 Dove, get $5ecb
      Buy 2 Robitussin, get $2ecb

I had to split the Dove because the coupons had a limit of 2 per transaction.

      Transaction 1:
Pantene was 2/$8, I bought 8 bottles to get to $32 to qualify for $10ecb. Had 4 BOGO coupons for shampoo and conditioner. They actually took off the full amount of $6.99 per conditioner. (6.99×4=27.96) so, (32-27.96=4.04). I also had a $1.00/2 Pantene coupon, bringing my total to $2.02 for 8 bottles of Pantene.
The Robitussin was $4.99 – 2x $3.00 coupons, bringing total to $3.98 for the 2 Robitussins.
The Dove was $5.00-2x $2.00 coupons, bringing my total to $6.00 for the 2 Doves.
Total for transaction = $12 before tax. I got $10ecb for Pantene and $2ecb for Robitussin… so all I paid was tax for ALL of this!

      Transaction 2:
Dove was $5.00- 1x $2.00 coupon, bringing total to $3.00.
Total for transaction = $3. I got $5ecb back for completing the $5ecb WYB $15.

So I got paid $2.00-tax to take ALL of this from CVS!!

    • BlessedMamaof2

I have read the coupon policy for CVS and I’m still a little confused if anyone could help.

Went in yesterday and bought some Pantene and used some BOGO coupons, the register took off the $6.99 but before she put them away she called the manager to get her to adjust them down to the $4.00. I was really aggravated because they have never adjusted my coupon down and just canceled the whole transaction. I got so mad because the manager at this store always treats me like I’m stealing when I leave with a good deal.

Does anyone know what I should do about this? I like rules in stone and not picking and choosing what they are going to accept.

      • VP22

Technically they did exactly what they were supposed to do. If it was a bogo coupon and both products were $4 then the coupon was supposed to take off only $4. A lot of people have just been really lucky that the coupon took off the max value of $6.99 and the cashier did not adjust.

    • busy bee

I havent yet got my quarterly eb anybody has??

      • Ashley

They print in January. If you ask the employees at your store you would know that and anything else you need to know about your double bucks.

        • VP22

Quarterly extra bucks print Jan 1, April 1, July 1 and October 1

      • VP22

They should have showed up yesterday. I saw them in my CVS account and they sent an email.

      • StefanieMS

Mine came through about 6 pm tonight.

    • Cherm59

The blog says “coupon bookets on product” I have looked and I don’t see booklets on the product. Am I missing something here?

      • mrn1

select products have coupons sometimes. Occasionally Duracell batteries have them. I’ve seen them once inside Bounty packages and Charmin Basic. You have to buy the items to get the coupons.

    • tee54

where is the olay refund? keep see referals to it but no form..lots of olay covergirl deals this week to possibly use on a refund also…

    • msp0769

Went to CVS yesterday and I caught their Special K cereal @ 3/$9 and you get $3 ECB with your purchase and I had a coupon for $1/3 which made the cereal 3/$5. It’s like buy the cereal at about $1.66 per box and that is an excellent price for cereal. (At least I think it is…)

    • ParkerMom

Does anyone know how to subscribe to the Oh Baby! Home Mailer that is mentioned for the Pampers listed above? “-$1 off Pampers Baby Dry diapers, excl trial sizes, Oh Baby! $7 in Savings home mailer”

      • Susan

Don’t think you can subscribe–it was just randomly mailed out a few weeks ago from CVS corporate…maybe based on purchasing history? I got one, and my husband got one at his office…I have no idea how.

    • pariscs

I have a 25% off coupon. Does anyone know if the 25% off will apply to the regularly-priced item in a buy one get one 50% off sale? The first item would be the regular price so it seems that the 25% off would apply. I’m not sure, though. I would appreciate any help!

      • VP22

It will not apply. A bogo 50% is still considered a sale item even though one is regular price.

    • esyke623

Today I went in to get the P&G diaper deal, since I needed diapers anyway. The machine printed out a $10 off $50, so I went ahead and got $60 worth, so I could use that. Then, surprise surprise, a $20 ECB printed out! Apparently you can do the P&G deal twice! Great surprise for this Mommy today!

    • Aria

Did anybody do dove deal twice?

      • Susan

        Yes

    • Krysta

I need help and opinions. I went into CVS on Sunday and bought the pantene deals, the razors and the robitussin. I went in today and bought the dove deal. It printed me off $5 ECB for the Dove and I got $10 back on Sunday from the P&G. Well on the bottom of my receipt today it says:
      This Weeks offers:
Gain, Spend 30 get 10 EB
(amount toward this reward 48.00, amount needed to earn reward 12.00) does this mean that it will give me the $10 ECB if i buy $12 more?
Dove, Spend 15 get 5 EB
(amount toward this reward 15.00, amount needed to earn reward 15.00) does this mean that i can do this again?
I am just unsure why it doesnt say limit reached? Has anyone else had this?

      • A friend of mine said she has done the P&G deal twice per card even though it states 1x only.

        • Krysta

          Oh yah! Thank You Both

        • me

per card?!?!?! how many cards do you have????

          • Chris3

My CVS gives everyone more then 1 card

          • jhoran

P&G deal is running twice, the robitussin seems to be running three times, as well as the nexxus 3x also.

      • Susan

Don’t know about P&G, but Dove deal is multiple times. I’ve done it three times already. Pretty sure P&G is more than once, too, based on what your receipt says. Definitely do that one again. You have so little to spend to get the $10!

      • mrn1

The P&G deal has a limit of 2 (the ad only says 1, but it is for sure 2) Go spend that $12 and get you another $10 ECB.

      • jhoran

        yes to both questions

      • Lori

I have done the PG $10 reward twice

    • crystalgoodwin3

      I went into CVS today.
Spent $7.33 total out of pocket including tax and got back $22 ECB plus $3.50 quarterly earnings. Total $25.50 in ECB.
      I just love CVS.

    • K

The paper says one but you can get two. The same thing happened to me on Sunday. I talked with the cashier who was very nice because I didn’t want mess up. She said it would work twice for some reason.

    • Natalie

Don’t forget about SavingStar’s Buy $20/ get $5 on Unilever Products. I plan to rack up $15 toward this on the Dove deal! Add a few jars or mayo or something, and $5 back from SavingStar!

Hi fellow couponers! A quick question, does it make a difference if you give your ECB first or your coupons when checking out? I don’t kbow if ECB cover tax or not.. thank you

      • Yes it does make a deal. I learned this the hard way. Here’s the simplest sequence I can suggest. 1. Use CVS coupons requiring specific purchase amount 1st, like $10off when you spend $50. 2. Use manufacturer’s coupns next If at a self-serve register, see what the remaining balance is; if working with a cashier, ask him/her to subtotal for you 3. Then use ECB Sometimes the total will be lower than the ECB, so you need to add another item that will put you just over the amount. Say for ex. your final total is $2.79 with tax, and you have $3 ECB, the register won’t let you redeem the coupon. So you need to add an item that will put you over the $3 amount, so that you can redeem the coupon. I always take extra items with me that cost a dollar or so, Or buy a pack of gum. I try to calculate everything so that I’m not caught off-guard. I really don’t like buying candy or gum when I need to add an extra item. so I search for things I really want. I sometimes browse in the clearance area for things, or have in mind certain items I want to get before I walk into the store.

First, I want say I really love this site. Its the most helpful of all of the ones out there. So thank you for helping us save.
Second, I have been reading some of the post. Its nice seeing people sharing there saving experiences. But I’m sad to see that people are knowingly breaking the rules. Its not OK to let a coupon go for $6.00 when the item is on sale for $3.00. That’s called coupon fraud. Shame on the consumer and cashier. Also with CVS extra care card it’s a limit 1 per HOUSEHOLD…people.Things like this keep happening we will start losing our savings.
Yes I work retail. Yes I love saving. Really people you need know and follow the rules. There is a reason for Rules and Laws.

First it is not coupon fraud. The store allows us to use the amount that is specified. If the coupon is more than what the product costs, the coupon still rings up as reg amount and the store still gets credit for it.
Secondly, you can do usually more than limit of 1. It’s whatever CVS decides for the week. And the cards too. So you really should get your facts straight before criticizing everyone.

        • Helenoqs

I do have my facts straight. It is coupon fraud to use a coupon for more that what the product is sold for. That’s why that little box is on the coupon at least for the buy 1 get 1 free coupons. I
And no you are not suppose to have more than 1 card per household. It is CVS policy. I can’t help if all stores don’t follow the rules. I know my store does.
Does it make it right to break the policy if someone lets you.
I didn’t mean to post to criticize just to educate.

How is it coupon fraud when their computer system is set up to take off the whole amount. Because if it was fraud they would not get their money back.

            • Helenoqs

The computer reads the full value of the coupon but it the cashiers responsibility to correct the the dollar amount. Of course a lot don’t because there in a hurry. Company’s get the amount that’s written in the box. They only get the max value if it’s left blank.

          • Kyle

First, the system is set up to read the coupon and take off the set amout. I know at my cvs they can’t adjust it down. CVS gets back whatever is being taken off so they are still getting their amount.
Secondly, not all deals are a limit if 1 per household. For example the P&G deal this week is a limit if 2 even though in the ad says limit 1.

            • mrn1

the cashier is supposed to change the value of the coupon to the sales price. Sometimes they change them, sometimes they don’t. Yes, they can change it at CVS. Certain cashiers always will change it. If they read the coupon like they are supposed to, they know they have to enter in the sales price, so when the coupon takes off a higher amount, they should be changing. it. I have had them do it both ways. yes, I love when they allow the full amount, but completely understand when they change to the sales price.

I have a question, can anyone help? I just received a $4/20 coupon in my email and I sent it to my CVS card.

But I have two transactions planned, and I wanted to spend more than $20 on the 2nd, not the first. Will my $4/20 coupon disappear if I do not use it on the very next transaction I do at CVS?

      • mrn1

They should ask you at checkout if you want to use it and just tell them no on the first one and tell them you want to use on the second one. I won’t disappear until it expires or is used. HTh

      • Kyle

Usually when I send my to card, it usually prints out at the coupon machine. So it should do that for you when you scan your card. hth

Can’t find the Nexxus coupon on the Walmart site. Can anyone direct me?

I looked up the offer for the free pink cookware when you purchase $30 in P&G products and I can’t find my CVS on there for my area. Is CVS not participating in the offer?? I find my local Bi-Lo and Publix but not CVS. Any suggestions? I live in Aiken, S.C. Thank in advance!

i haven’t run into this before, but today I tried to do the P&G deal with the $10 ECB on a $30 purchase. I went to 4 stores and none of them had the Bounty paper towels in stock. How do I complete my scenario, which also included diapers and make-up, when no one has the item I need in stock? I don’t want to substitute a different item because I have a high-value coupon on the Bounty that will keep my OOP lower. Frustrated!!

Usually my CVS will give me a rain check for what I need including what the deal was and just attaches my receipts for the deal to it to prove I have bought the correct amount. Then When I come back and get the stuff I have rain checks for to complete transaction and show them the receipts that I have reached the total and they give me my ECBs.
