Anyone have problems receiving the Recyclebank coupons in the mail?  I’ve ordered them twice now and never received them after months of waiting…

            • Thesuperhubby

happened to me once . Ordered 4 and never received them int the mail. Send a mail to recycle bank customer service and tell them what happened and they may credit your account back the points. They did for me.

            • ggs1432

agree…I call customer service and they explained that they were out of prints since it was at the end of the month.  They credited my account and then deduct it in two days when the new month coupons came out.

            • Poormtnmom

I had the same problem and they issued me another one.  No waiting 2 weeks for that one.  :(

            • Walkingonwebs

            • Crystalgoodwin3

If you click on the discount page, when it comes up there is a place in about the middle of your screen that will have your zip code listed. You can change the zip code. I usually use 28277 to find the $10 off $50 HT coupons.

I thinking that you should be able to use the $10 recycle bank coupon if your order is over $50. Even if it drops it down to around $40 you should be able to use the HT $5 off $25 coupon. It should make for a very interesting shopping trip.

      • Crystalgoodwin3

Yes, you can. I did it last night with on problems.
Had one of my best trips ever. I got $317 worth of groceries for $65 and everything that I bought was a sale price.
        I’m going  back this afternoon.

Thank you Harris Teeter for a great week of SDs!  I can avoid the grocery for a while and save money for my Thanksgiving baskets.

    • There is a $5 off $25 coupon from Harris Teeter in their flyer that is available in the newspapers TODAY ONLY.  If you are local to Forsyth Co. NC- Wilco Hess  carries the Journal for just 50¢ today only.  The flyer will NOT have the coupon in the stores- this is in the newspapers only.  IT is limit 1 per VIC household per week but Lowe’s Foods will accept this coupon.  Be sure to get a paper today- this will be in all their flyers EXCEPT for Fayetteville area,

      • Justme

can you please tell me if is like publix that you give the 5 off first and then the others coupons or it has to be after coupons

        •  It must be AFTER all other coupons & discounts, limit 1 per VIC per WEEK and not valid on tickets, stamps or gift cards.

        • Crystalgoodwin3

I just got 2 papers. We are in Morehead City, NC.
The coupon does say save $5 off $25. It has to be $25 after all the coupons and discounts are applied. It also says limit 1 per VIC card holder.

          • Crystalgoodwin3

            I got 2 papers for $1 total.
Some said on here that Lowe’s Foods will take the HT $5 off $25 coupon. I sure hope so.

            • Crystalgoodwin3

My Lowes Foods will not take the HT coupon and they are only about a mile apart.

            •  Contact Lowe’s Customer service through FB or email- they should be taking that coupon.

is this the one that it says save $4 when you buy 4? I was wondering if that meant if you buy for you get back 4 dollars or if it was going to come off your bill? anyone know?

          • Audley79

comes off your bill at checkout.  did 2 of the deals today!

            • ggs1432

Audley79 – Did you do 2 of the same deals or different $4 of 4 deals? I did the Fiber One bars today and wondering if I can go back for more. Thx.

            • Katie

You can do the Fiber One deal again.   Also, the Fiber one $4 deal, the $4 fruit snacks deal, and the $4 cereal deal are all separate from each other.  I did the Fiber One deal and the fruit snacks deal together in one transaction and a total of $8 came off, with no problems. I did have some problems with my Bonus Box tops printing, but that’s been fixed.

            • ggs1432

thx! I went back today and it worked like a charm. Didn’t even realize that this morning’s transaction didn’t give me the Bonus Box Tops like this afternoon. Got to fix that in the AM.

          • Texasheffner

You have to buy all 4 in one transaction and yes, it comes right off your bill.

did the best i ever did at harris teeter this morning.  The new harriss teeter in fayetteville is doing 10% off your entire purchase for the grand opening this week.  Plus in the mail I got a coupon good for $10 off $40, only good at the new location.  The manager actually had to come and override the register so I could pay because I saved too much!  Never happened to me before.  Saved over $160!  Thanks so much Jenni!

    • mabel

There are lays coupons available right now on the winn dixie facebook page $.50/1 and $1.00/2……the $.50/1 will double and makes them $1.14 each!

      • Melissa

        Thanks so much

        • Crystalgoodwin3

          There was orginially a $3/3, $1/2 and .50/1.
I tried the $3/3 and they were all gone. So, I got 4 of
the .50/1 which will double to a $1 off each bag.
They are also B1G1 at Lowes Foods and they will let you use 4 alike coupons I think.

          • Crystalgoodwin3

I just went a read Lowes Foods coupon policy. They will only accept 2 printable internet coupons per day.
I’m not sure if that’s 2 per 2 items or 2 total for the day. I’m just going to use 2 at Lowes Foods and 2 at HT. Both have the Lay’s B1G1.

    • Britta

Sorry I don’t remember which insert, but there was a $2 Truvia coupon in last weeks paper. With the .50 zvr it is a $.50 money maker.

      • Guest

It was the redplum.  I used mine last week with super doubles and they were still free.

      • Tricia

my ZVR is only for the 80ct or spoonable Truvia, but the 40ct is on sale for $1.99 so still free just not a money maker for me

        • Tricia

also there is a .75 off 40 ct or larger on SavingStar expires 9/26

    • Dnaingbo

The Box Top promotion this week is not to be missed.  I bought 4 boxes of fruit snacks and 4 boxes of Fiber One bars – used (2) 75 cents off two fruit snacks and (4) 50 cents off fiber one bars and it takes $4 off the bill – my total bill was $2.03 and I got 50 box tops for the school.  I did another transaction with 8 more box top items to get another 50 box tops for school.  Two more rounds of $4 off in that order – my total bill with my $20 off for prescription – $3.24.  Best savings ever!!!!

    • Cherylkidd

Does anyone need an Enfamil Premium Infant coupon? I received a register Q that says “Save $13.85 on 2 any size Powders. Good on either Enfamil PREMIUM Newborn or Enfamil Premium Infant.” Message me at cherylkidd@comcast.net if you want it.

    • Mary

There’s a couple ZVRs for the General mills promo right now! .50/1 fiber one brownies and some others!

I bought 4 boxes of bars and 4 boxes of fruit snacks and got $4 off for each ones, so you can do it in one transaction, if anyone was wondering! lol

However, if you bought 8 boxes of fruit snacks in 1 transaction, I believe you would just get $4 off….right?

      • Lynn

I got 4 boxes of fruit snacks and 4 boxes of bars and use coupons with the ZVRs and paid 50 cents for all 8 boxes!

Use (2) .75 coupons and a .50 ZVR on the fruit snacks which cost 50 cent. For the bars, I got 1 Fiber One Chewy, 1 Fiber One Brownie, 1 Nature Valley Protein, and 1 cereal bar use a coupon for each and ZVRs to match and all 4 boxes were free!

I didn’t have a ZVR for the cereal bar, but since it was only $1 after the discount, it was free with the coupon.

        I agree…..you couldn’t buy 8 of one item and get $8 off.

      • ANABEL867

I am new to this, but what does ZVR stand for please???  Trying to make sure I maximize all coupon opportunities!!! Thanks!

        • eb6

ZVR is short for Zaver which is the name of the Harris Teeter evic coupons (on your receipt it says ZVR  and the item and amount when it takes off an ecoupon). These are coupons you have access to when you sign up for evic. Once you sign up for evic, it takes a week until you get the first evic email and it will have a link to the ecoupons you can add to your card. The nice thing about the ZVR coupons is that it takes the amount off when you buy the required item even if you also use a paper coupon and it takes it off your total even if the paper coupon already made the item free. Stacking paper coupons and ZVRs is the only way you can get overage at HT.

          • Cuponing2

im not anabel but thank you so much i didnt know that

          • ANABEL867

Thanks….was wondering if that was it too!  I just signed up for EVic, so I should be getting some soon!  I am excited.  Thanks again!

    • Crazyrilee

I have a question regarding the Mardi Gras Napkins. I read the harris teeter coupon policy but it was a little confusing to me. I got a food lion coupon book in the mail with a coupon for 1.00 off 2 mardi gras products. Could I purchase 2 packs of napkins and then print 2 manufacturer coupons along with the e-coupon twice?

The coupon policy said they do accept competitors coupons but I was wondering if I can use them all combined.

      Also if anyone else has these coupons, I believe it will be 2 free packs of napkins. 1.99 +1.99 = 4 – 1 – 1.10-1.10-1.10 = free

      • Brian22155

E-vic usually is only for 1. Still a good deal.

      • Hot

No you cant use three Manufacturer coupons on two products

        • Hot

Other than an e-vic coupon of course!

      • Guest

You also couldn’t use the FL coupon at HT since they only take competitor $ off total order coupons.
Even if that coupon is a manufacturer coupon, the $.55/1 is better.
So if you want 2 packs, the best you can do is:
        3.98 – 1.10 -1.10 -.55 = 1.23/2

Has anyone done the 50 bonus box top promotion with more then 8 items. (ie. 16 items for 100 box tops or 24 items for 150 box tops)  Just wondering if it gave you a catalina for each 8 items or do should I do separate transactions.  Thanks

      • Britta

Yes. I got 17 items and received two catalinas for 50 bonus box tops.

    • Wendy

The other day I not only got 1 Glade Fragrance Mist Starter Kit for free at Harris Teeter with the $2 off coupon and super doubles but at the register it spit out a $1 off next purchase catalina for the Glade.  I didn’t see any catalina deals for this but wondering if it will do it again… did anyone else get one of those from the Glade?

      • Wendy

there’s a catalina deal for other Glade products but the Fragrance Mist Starter Kit was not listed.

      • Dj

I did. Once before super doubles and once during. The first time I wasn’t expecting it and I had purchased two and got a $1 OYNO. The second time I just got one and got a $1 OYNO. Haven’t been able to see if it still is available because my two HTs have been out of the Glade starter kit since thursday

        • Wendy

I was able to get another one today and it did give me the $1 catalina :)

      • Net1lei2

I got 2 glade fragrance mist starter kits and with the purchase of 2 I had a q for a free refill…so with the $2/1 q for each starter and the free refill with purchase of 2 starters, I got all the items for free!!! Woohoo… I love HT!!!!

    • luv2save

Could someone please share with me the scenario for the the bars/fruit snacks and what q’s you used?  I have seen mention of it on several sites but not exactly sure what the deal is, how (if) to split transactions, etc and what coupons to use to make best deal for 4 bars and 4 snacks.  Thanks!

      • Cheryl

I stopped on the way home and got 4 bx of the Betty C Fruit roll-ups and Fruit Gushers. I used a $1/2 q that I printed and a .75/2 that doubled (from SS or redplum) and the .50 zvr and the $4 instant savings made the deal $1 for all 4 bx (.25 each.). I also got the 4 bx of Fiber 1 and Nature Valley Protein bars… used the qs I had and zvr and they came out to be .90 for all 4 boxes. I did those on one transaction. Got a bag of salad makings, the 8 boxes of BC promos and paid $3.75 oop. Good deal! I went to the customer friendly store in Charlotte @ Cotswold. I love that store!! =)

        • luv2save

          This is perfect! Thank you!

      • i only did 4 boxes so far which was 3 of the cereal bars and 1 fiber one brownies, i used 3 50/1 for the cereal bars frm the GM insert and 1 50/1 q frm couponsDOTcom making all 4 boxes .55 i paid

    • Brnrn2003

I am new to this site. Can someone explain the 2 price listed ? There is a price and then a price in parenthesis? For example with the chips ahoy cookies I don’t understand how it comes out to be .89 each if u only use a .75/2 coupon?

      • Wendy

The price in parentheses is the item at half price since it is a Buy One Get One free sale… it usually rings up half price instead of actually getting one free which is better so you can use a coupon on both items.

      • Pamgam1

I think the math is wrong.  If you buy 2 chips ahoy, they would cost $3.65 for both.  At HT you don’t have to buy both, they charge you half price for one product.  Which in this case would make it 1.83 for one chip ahoy. The coupon .75/2 means for 2 chips ahoy you can take .75 off. HT doubles all coupons up to .99 everyday up to 20 a day which makes it $1.50 off. So 3.65 – 1.50 = 2.15.  2.15/2 = 1.08.  HTH

    • Crystalgoodwin3

Another great trip to HT today.
I decided that my family and I would have steaks for supper tonight.
I just needed to find a way to make them fix into our budget.
      I had a $10 off $50 coupon and a $5 off $25 coupon.
      I found 2 -2 packs of Angus Ribeyes 1 for $13.90 and 1 for $16.10.
Total $30.00. Then I got 2 of the B1G1 London Broil $14.00. I added 6 of the Green Giant Vegetables $1 each. Making my total right a $50. I almost forgot but I also got 4 fruit rolls ups and 4 cereal bars. These were free with coupons and zvr’s.
      Total was like $59.?? – less coupons, zvr’s = $50.?? – $10 off = $40 – $5 =
      $35 plus tax.
Not bad for 4 really nice steaks, 2 london broils, 8 boxes of rolls up and cereal bars plus 6 boxes of vegetables.
Cooked the steaks on the grill and they were great! Love HT.

      • Cuponing2

im new to this.LOL what is zvr’s

        • asw0627

Those are the harris teeter ecoupons that you can load onto your VIC card.

        • Crystalgoodwin3

If you haven’t registered your card on the HT site,  you need to in order to receive the evic deals of the week plus you can load zvr’s onto your card. The zvr’s alot of times will give you overage on many items.
I got overage yesterday on the Toll House cookies. They were an evic starting yesterday for $1.47 limit 2. I had 2 coupons for .75/1 that both doubled plus there was a 75 cent zvr loaded on my card. They were both free with 75 cent overage. Every little bit helps.

I feel so let down this week after super doubles last week.  Not much that I need on the list, but I think I will do a trip for the fruit bars and dogfood.  I went everyday last week, and got $1100.00 worth of stuff for only $32 out of pocket.  I got a $10 gift card and $12 worth of coupons off my next order last week that I will use this week.  In the end I only really paid $10 for all the stuff that I bought.  Thanks so much ?Jenny.  You have no idea how valuable your service is to me and my family.  If I can save this much, so can the others that use the matchups.  You just have to go into the store and only get what you came for.  THANK YOU again.

      • Songbird1973

Hi.  I’m new to this couponing thing.  How in this world do you get $1100 for $32.  I’m so confused.  Any advise would be greatly appreciated.  Please help!!  LOL!!!

        • BLovesCoupons

My background on how I get my coupons first. I have anywhere from 6 to 12 copies of each Sunday coupon insert. I subscribe to oly one paper, but my mother in law has people at church that give them to her and then she passes them to me when she is done cutting the ones she wants. I have a laptop and 2 old desktop computers that can print 2 each of all the printable coupons, and we have 2 iPods that will print 2 each of the coupon.com printables. My wife and I both have recycle bank accounts that we can access the $10 off $50 ht coupon from, and most of the time the cashier will allow us to use it before they scan the other coupons. Technically it is supposed to be used after all coupons are deducted, and if she hands it back to me saying that I cannot use it, that’s fine. I only used these 2 times last week. I also used our Vic card each day, and I borrowed my uncles card for 3 transactions because we will share some of the groceries with him. So total I did 10 trips in 7 days. Both cards are linked to the evic site to get the ecoupons and evic deals. My ht just started taking rr’s from Walgreens so I had about $10 worth of those last week. I used the glade deal to get Catalina’s, as well as the dole pineapple, and I did the Kraft $ 10 off 10 items twice. I also had about six rain checks that I used during sd’s that paired nicely with coupons.

        • Crystalgoodwin3

I can tell you that she’s right.
After you have been couponing for awhile, you will start to buy just what’s on sale. Once you reach that point, you will see a big differnce in your gorcery bill plus you will have more food in your house then ever before. This week the got $317 worth of sale priced groceries for only $65.00 and that included 3 big bags of Dog chow and 2 – 25 oz. bags of Beggin’ Strip dog treats. The treats were priced at $12.99 B1G1. I did have a $1.50/2 coupon. My point is that it was a big chuck of the $65 including tax that I spent. Another thing is to get the $10 off $50 HT coupons from the recyclebank site.

        • BLovesCoupons

I had 12 transactions over the 7 days of super doubles.  In 5 of the transactions, I used a $10 off $50 recyclebank coupon. (Both me and my wife have an account to get access to these, and my store will allow them to be used after the vic card savings and zvrs come off if the total is still above $50)  I know the coupon states after all other coupons and discounts, but if my store is gonna take them, then I will use them.  I also had my uncle’s card to use for a few transactions.(Mainly to get the Evic weekend specials).  He lets me use it during SD’s so that I will share the bounty.  I always go once in the am and then back with his card in the pm on days that I use his card.  That wasy I give a chance for others to get the deals during the day.  I did the dole pineapple catalina deal several times, as well as the kraft buy 10 get $10 catalina, and the glade expressions catalina offer several times.  I also started with about $10 in register rewards from Walgreens that doubled up to $2 as long as I wasn’t over my 20 limit when I used them.  I usually have between 6 and 12 insert copies from the Sunday paper from the last few months thanks to my mother in law and her friends that pass them to me.  I have a laptop, and 2 desktop computers that I can print any printable on, and we have 2 Ipods that we can print from coupons.com on.  That gives us access to plenty of printables in addition to the inserts.  I used a few rainchecks last week that matched up well with the coupons for some awesome deals.  That is the background on the basics of what coupons I used for the week.

My HT in NC does not have the
Kit & Kaboodle Cat Food, 16 lb, at $13.49 ($6.74)…it’s on sale, but not BOGO, it is $9.99.

DH just came back from HT. He bought six boxes of Truvia and had six $2 off coupons, making them free. He purchased a couple other items w/o coupons. The cashier would only let him use three coupons because they were like coupons. DH said his DW had done a similar transaction earlier in the week w/o issue. The manager was called over and agreed with the cashier–limit of three like coupons. After a bit more back and forth, the manager did an override for the other three coupons “just this once.”
I admit I generally use double coupons and do stick to the three coupon limit, so I am a bit out of my depth here. I don’t generally buy in larger quantities, but I use Truvia exclusively, and if I can get it for free, I’m not missing an opportuniy. I always thought the policy was three like coupons for doubles/triples, others honored at face value.

      • Sam

Your husband was correct.  The three limit is for coupons that double.  You can use as many coupons as you like in one transaction, but only 3 of each like coupons will double, for a total of 20 doubled coupons per day.  A lot of cashiers forget this rule, but the manager should have known better.

      • Wendy

We double up to three identical items with manufacturer coupon; additional coupons for like item will be honored at face value. Like items include all flavors.
That is directly off their coupon policy… you and your husband were correct.  This is a good example of when to whip out their own coupon policy because they are confused :)

Our store has copies of the coupon policy right on the desk at customer service. Next time just grab one and “teach” them about their own policy. Just always try to do it in a nice way. It’s a lot easier on you during your next trips.

      • Katie

You and your husband were correct.  After having this discussion with a cashier once myself, I called customer service for clarification on their policy.  According to customer service, you are correct–he should have been allowed to buy the six.  CS did tell me that managers have the right to limit you to maintain enough product for other customers, but six items isn’t necessarily clearing the shelves.

      • Jen

Thanks everyone for your replies. Believe it or not, I had nearly the exact same same expereince twice today at two different HTs. The cashiers let them go through, but the managers scolded them for doing so and said they were only to take three. When I explained their coupon policy, one argued about like coupons, and one did the override immediatety. I did not shelf clear, and I told both managers that. That was why I went to two stores.
What a drama… Thanks again for the reassurance, though!!

I had an evic alert for Saturday only on the Folgers coffee for $5.77 limit 2… w/ the .25 coupon it was $5.27 each and I got two. That’s a good deal on the Folgers!!

Nothing was free that I got but had a great trip!! $210 for $95. Lots of meat and produce too!!

      • Crystalgoodwin3

That was a great trip. You can’t live on just free groceries. I consider that anytime I do 50% or more on HT’s sale priced items then I’ve had a great trip.
Do you get the $10 off $50 coupons from recyclebank. They save me alot.

        • Couponing124

Yes I was really excited. I know it’s not the best trip but I just felt like I had gotten ALOT! You go to morehead city HT right? That is where I live! I bet we’ve seen each other sometime.

          • Crystalgoodwin3

Yes, the Morehead HT. I usually go on Tuesday’s while my daughter takes her horse riding lesson and then on Thursday’s while she’s in Pre-Point Ballet and Jazz lessons. We live Down East so I try to make the most out of my town trip.

            • Couponing124

Oh I see! I usuasally go Wednesday and Saturday, Tuesday sometimes if I forgot something!

            • Crystalgoodwin3

              I was in there yesterday.
I grabbed 8 more boxes of the fruit roll-ups and 8 boxes of the cereal bars. Paid $2.08 total for all 16 boxes. My receipt says I saved $48 something. Plus I got 2 of the 50 bonus box tops for my daughters school.

          • Omo65

        • Ambhall

          • Crystalgoodwin3

Go under discounts and it you don’t see them listed, change your zip code. I usually find them under 28277.
