Wow!!!!!!!!!!!!! NOT a SINGLE thing on my list this time. That’s a first ever, I think. Of course, I’ll still pick up the few Kroger brand items I always get, but that’s only a handful of stuff..
With baking the holidays coming up and all of the baking many of us do, I did want to mention that the Kroger semi-sweet chocolate chips are EVERY bit as good name brand ones and are the least expensive I’ve EVER seen- even not on sale. I think they’re something like $1.50. HTH someone!

    • Rebecca

Extremely boring week. I haven’t been to Kroger in weeks no…just no good deals. Mine even still doubles, but there’s just nothing there that’s a good deal. What happened to mega events?? Sheesh! I’ve been doing all my shopping at Aldi, a local store, and Walmart.

      • I totally agree. There have been few (very few) exciting deals at Kroger lately. It seems that they go through a slump in sales items, and then come out with a fantastic mega event promo. Each week I keep hoping that the slump is over and it’s time for another huge sale, but if it isn’t, well…. Ingles has been having a ton of B1G1 sales and they’re always friendly. I’ll just take my business to them!

    • Blewits

I agree. Since my Kroger doesn’t double anymore, I just assume take all of my coupons to Publix. They have cleaner stores, nicer employees, they don’t crush my groceries when they bag them and they take them to my car. Mega events are about the only thing I would go into a Kroger for anymore.

      There’s a Knorr catalina buy 3 get $1

    • happyinharned

When will Kroger get the message and restart the double coupons? They should be feeling the change in less sales by now….Hope they wake up soon. I have stopped shopping there til double coupons return, just have lots of others have.

      • dtcox1

me too i have went from 150.00 a week now t o10.00 a week only bread and milk i know they know by my card already …

      • Jennifer

It should would be nice if I could shop somewhere that still doubles. No grocery store in my area does, and since Kroger has the best prices and is the closest, I still go there. Not everyone has the luxury of having another grocery store to go to, so unless most Krogers have competition with the double coupons, I do not see them coming back.

      • GUEST

They are not going to ever bring them back, they announced today NO MORE DOUBLES LOUISIANA AND THE REST OF TEXAS (SOUTHWEST REGION)

    • Carol Scofield

I’m not shopping at Kroger very much since they stopped doubling. This week they did have a sale that Kroger cream cheese and sour cream were .88. I stocked up for X-mas baking. Nothing else really was a good deal. I’m shopping more at the only store in town that continues to double a Ray’s Apple Market, lucky me, and Aldi. I’m looking for a Mega event too, My thought is that they may stop because of their “new lower prices.” Ha.

    • Wendi S

For the barilla, at zip 03103 I found both a generic 1.00/2 and one that prints as a manufacturer’s coupon and also says “available at Martin’s.” So if you need the coupon, you should be able to get 4 altogether.

      • Wendi S

Actually when I look at the printed coupons, one says “available at” some other store and 1 says “available at Martin’s” so there was no generic coupon, but I don’t think I’ll have a problem using either.
