    • Jsings115

The gift card scenario makes no sense to me. It should be spend 30 get 10 and your scenario only comes to 23.91. I am 9 months pregnant so maybe my prego brain is not working here…any ideas on how this will actually work?

      • Kaelaj89

I think she meant 6 Covergirl powders

        • Kaelaj89

           Covergirl 5.99 x 3=17.97 but its B1G1 50% so you’d get 3 more for 2.995 x3=8.985 plus 1 gain @ 5.94=32.895
          @e9f5fd877d40d817bf1bfd95d6dcebd2:disqus
          Use 3 $8 off 2 =8.895
          Use 1 $2 off Gain=6.895

Plus your going to get the $10 gift card plus if you have ecbs or giftcards it won’t actually be oop except for tax :)

          • Jsings115

THANK you so much! I am telling you-I am going to give birth any second now and my brain just could not figure it out! :)

            • Kemccarthy

              Good luck!

            • Kaelaj89

Your Welcome! I do that sometimes too and I’m not pregnant! lol It’s always nice to be able to come to the message board and ask a question because someone is always willing to be helpful and answer it for us! Good luck with the baby :)

      • She must mean 6 Cover Girl face powders, because 3 $8/2 Cover Girl coupons are listed and, in that case, the total would be $32.91, or $6.91 after coupons.

      • Kemccarthy

I think she meant to buy 6 powders and then use 3 of the $8/2 coupons. I was confused too.

      • I did mean 6, for a long time I was playing with this idea below and then changed at the last minute:

        Buy:
        (2) Pantene Hair Care, $3.49
        (2) CoverGirl Powders, B1G1 50% off at $5.99
        (2) Gain Detergents, $5.94
        (1) Always Pads, $3
        Use:
        (2) -$3/2 Pantene
        (1) -$8/2 Covergirl
        (2) -$2 off Gain Detergent
        (1) -$1 off Always
        Total Due: $11.84
Get Back: $10 gift card, makes it 26¢ ea.

I figured everyone would rather a money maker, though I confess I want this scenario more since it has more things I need in it.

        • Kemccarthy

Can we use a 4 off $20 in this scenario?

          • MIAMI

            yea

        • Jsings115

ooohhh, now I have to choose which transaction to do. I could definitely use this stuff more. Thanks so much for the great ideas! although I am hoping to be in the hospital having my baby on Sunday so I might not even get to take advantage but its best to be prepared. :)

        • Natalie559

I think you can only use 1 pantene $3/2 if you are only buying 2- this would increase your scenario by $3 making total due $14.84.

    • only_me

im looking forward to the gain and pantene deal :)

      • Kaelaj89

Me too! I have 6 of the $3 off 2 Pantenes and I do use a lot of hairspray :)

    • Kimberlyflem26

I have a coupon for the Carmex lotion but I don’t see the matchup

      • sorry just added the link to a printable coupon.

        • Kimberlyflem26

Thank you Jeeny for all you do!

    • AM

Maybe I misread the expiration date on the $8/2 Cover Girl coupon.
      I thought it expired already?

      • Steve

        It expires 10/31/11

    • American Greeting card deal deserves an Acorn…

      • I like to get the $.99 ones, makes them free and I load up on B-Day cards for random times…

    • Padawanlearner

So with the Axe deal, would they both be free?  b1g1 free store deal, use b1g1 coupon…

      • Anonymous

I don’t think the coupons match. Sale is buy Axe Styler get Shampoo free. Coupon is actually buy a Body Wash or a Detailer (which is just a “manly” way of saying loofah) and get one free.

    • Jaaspertay

If I have a coupon for a free mega pack from huggies, would the $13.99 still count towards my $30?

      • Anonymous

Yes. But the free paacks that CVS is giving is the Jumbo packs – not the boxes – but, if they were part of the deal, they would count – I did this twice with the first week of the gift card when Pampers were part of the deal – my frree pack still counted because it’s just like naother coupon!!!!!

        • Jaaspertay

How did you get free pampers coupons…… I really don’t even like Huggies just getting them cause they are cheap or free?

        • Jaaspertay

How did you get free pampers coupons…… I really don’t even like Huggies just getting them cause they are cheap or free?

    • Anonymous

The American Greeting coupon excludes 99 cent cards so you’ll have to buy the more expensive ones if you want to use it.

      • Ebonycullars

it doesn’t say so in the ad, and it didn’t the last time . but who knows about this time :)

        • Detavilas

i think they may be different according to different areas. a few weeks ago my ad DID exclude the .99 cent cards but i read that most didn’t

      • SchoonCR

Bummer, it didn’t exclude them last time, about 4-5 weeks ago.

        • jen

The coupon excludes the .99 cards.  The ECB will probably be the same as last time.

      • Bette

The American Greeting card ECB’s must be regional.  It’s not in my ad nor did it print the $3 ECB when I bought 3 cards tonight.  (My store starts the sale on Saturday afternoon)  I couldn’t find it advertised anywhere in the ad…disappointing!

    • Brooke

This might be a really stupid question but does the spend 30 count AFTER the buy one get one 50% is applied??

      • grace

        yes

    • Kelly

Check your ad if you need Pampers or Formula.  My add has Pampers and several formulas on sale.

      • Sally

What is a good price for Pampers?   I haven’t bought diapers in years and in about 2 months we’re about to have our third child. I thought I would buy some to get ready, but have no idea what a good price is. Thanks!

    • Amanda

Don’t forget to check your CVS account on-line!  I was really excited to see a $4/20 coupon in my account that expires on Sunday!  I would have had no idea that it was there if I had not checked…I never got an email about it, just wanted to pass this along, hopefully you guys get one too!

      • i had a $5/$30, whoo hoo!! i was happy

      • Jessica Dunn

Where on the website do you go to check for coupons?

    • Amanda

Does anyone know how CVS rings up items in a B1G1 50% sale?  For instance, if I buy 4
different items — $11.99, $7.99, $5.99, and $4.99 will CVS put the 50% sale towards your 2 least expensive items (like my $5.99 and
$4.99 listed above) or is the 50% applied to every other item (like the
$7.99 and $4.99 listed above)?  Thank you!!

      • JSRead

They will give you 50% off the least expensive items.  I didn’t realize this the last time.  If you can get the credit for the $30 on multiple transactions (which I think you can), it would certainly by worth it to split your orders.

        • Amanda

Thank you!!  That’s what I will do!!

          • Amber

I usually just make sure they scan them in the correct order…for instance if they scan the 11.99 and the 7.99 first then the 7.99 should ring up as 1/2 off then have them scan the other 2 and the 4.99 would ring up half off

    • Couponeagle11

help i have 10.00 in ecb’s that expire on the 1st i havent seen anything i need in a month and was hoping that huggies diapers would go on sale. what should i do?????

      • Anonymous

When I have ECBs expiring, I pick up stuff like milk that I always need, and stuff that rarely goes on sale (but that I know I will need), like greeting cards.  Picking up a few sympathy and get well cards when I have expiring ECBs saves me a trip to the store when I need one suddenly.

      • zebby

one of the cvs in my area told me they take extra care bucks no matter what the expiration was.  I didn’t even ask, she just told me “here’s your extra bucks, and they never expire”  I said “really?  I didn’t know that” and she said “yes, we take them no matter what the expiration date is”  I know that this is a policy that varies with each store, but it would be worth asking your local stores before they expire if you wanted to wait for a sale you like.

      • Pinkchick82686

I use mine at harris Teeter or Lowes foods for groceries.

      • Mel

Big pack of huggies was on sale at our store they week. I think for $18.99 If you have $1.50 coupon and $10.00 ECb that would make it like $7.49 for big box.

    • Bianca

I have a question… If I want to submit for the $10 rebate when you spend $30 of Olay is that $30 before or after coupons? Also, Could this be on separate receipts adding to $30? …thanks!

      • Yuliyaporter

Yes and yes!  Before coupons and can  be on sep receipts!

        • Bianca

          thanks!

    • Tiya

So I have a raincheck from the previous Tide/Gain Deal. Will I be able to get the $10 ECB for $30 worth of product and the $10 gift card? Paired with my $5 off $30 and $2 mq and current ECBs this should be a great deal (if the store even gets 6).

      • Anonymous

Yes you will get the current deal and the cashier will manually print the ECB raincheck.  LUCKY!!!!

        • Tiya

          Thanks!!!

      • If ur Rain check is more then 2 weeks old. You will Not get the ECBs back. But they will take an extra $10 off the total.. New rule … At least your oop will be less

        • Tiya

It’s from the 10/2 ad so I guess I will be getting the discount. Fine either way.

        • Anonymous

wow really!? i thought they never expired. is there somewhere on their website where i can look that up?

    • Anonymous

There wasn’t much left of the Cover Girl blushes this week. There probably won’t be enough for one person to complete a deal next week. Let the land grab begin!!

    • Javamama

Jenny – not to be a nitpicker, but your title reads “Gift Care Promotion” instead of Gift Card.  It’s just the geek in me that makes me notice.  Thanks for the great info – I have my shopping list all printed out and coupons pulled.  Now if Sunday will just get here…

      • Sandra

        Seriously?

      • Surfergirl8989

Wow really? You must have nothing to do

        • Ladybugpam

must you insult someone for having attention to detail?

    • Does anyone know of a website that is still selling the Cover Girl coupon $8/2?

      • It would be hard to get them in time now :( They expired on Monday

      • Odinvsaver

you could buy them off ebay. but catie is right you probably won’t get them by monday.

    • That should say EXPIRE**

    • Klutziegurl

in the covergirl b1g1 50% off, with the $8/2 coupon, do you think blush or eyeshadow count as a face product? or is it just foundation like items?

      • Tina

the blush is a face product the eyeshadow isnt :(

        • Detavilas

the coupon scanned at walmart for eyeshadow. i bought 8 eyeshadows @ 3.12 each and used 4 coupons.

      • Mercedes Butler

Face products are only foundation, powder, concealer, blush, bronzer, and face tools. Check out their website.

        • Buybye2011

You know that just sounds crazy, where else do you put eyeshadow. On the face. I used my coupons for eyeshadow and had no problems.

          • shelly

Yes, but it is Covergirl who is deciding what they put into that category.  They break up their cosmetics into three categories:  Face, Eye, Lip.  That’s why eyeshadow doesn’t fall under the “Face” category…it’s under the “Eye” category. If you want to get really technical, ALL cosmetics are used on the face.  This is a Covergirl thing, not a common sense thing.

      • 808

I bought lip gloss & liner at walmart & was able to use the coupon.

      • KTA

i used eye shadow at walmart, 3.44 each

      • Anonymous

It is just supposed to be used on foundation-type products. There have been lots of problems with people trying to use this coupon on other items, and CG actually sent out a notice to all CVSs telling them that it can only be used on foundation products

        • Anonymous

Face products also includes blush.  I found concealers to be free with the coupon.  I just think it excludes eye and lip products.

      • Cheryl

I used mine for eye shadow there last week.

      • Shirley Morton

I used my Covergirl coupon for mascara and lipstick and received the ECB.

      • Brismom

I used mine on blush and eyeliner at wal-mart yesterday.

    • Mkcoupons4

the $2 listerine total zero coupon in 10/9 is for 1L or larger…..not 500mg!

      • Gtg746y

        She made a mistake….chill out.

        • umm It didn’t look like she was angry… Just pointing it out..

        • umm It didn’t look like she was angry… Just pointing it out..

        • shelly

I think all she was trying to do was to help us so that we don’t run into problems at the register, I don’t think she was attacking Jenny.  You might try chilling out yourself…

      • Anonymous

Thanks for pointing it out. Saved me the hassle at the register next week.

    • Mercedes

Okay, I’m a little confused. I’m looking at the promotion where if you buy $30 worth of items under the Gift Card Promotion, you get a $10 gift card, but limit 5. But the scenario says buy 6 CoverGirl powders and 1 Gain and you’ll get the $10 gift card. What does ‘Limit 5’ actually mean then?

      • Ctgossard

it means limit 5 gift card not the amount of product you buy

        • Mercedes

          Gotcha. Thank you! :)

    • Sean

Is there a zip for the CVS Protective Undergarments coupons.  I can’t find them.  Are they already gone, maybe?

      • Trish

        Can’t find them either.

    • Lisa

I just checked my online account and I had a $5/$30 coupon in there…woohoo  :)

      • Sudgrg

I read in the intructions, $4off$20. Does that mean it works as $4off$20 or does it have to be $5 off $30? Thanks. I’m new to this:(

        • Anonymous

They offer these money off coupons in a variety of values.  I’ve seen everything from $5 off $15 up to $10 off $50.

    • Crystalgoodwin3

I have some Pepsi coupons that says save $1 when you buy hamurger and any (2) 2-liters Pepsi or and (2) 1.5 liters etc. Exp 12/31/11There are also some that says the same thing except you have to buy fresh or frozen pizza. I’ ve used all the pizza ones that I had.Does anyone have some pizza ones that they would trade for the hamburger???If you do, please email me at: crystalgooodwin1@hotmail.com@undefined:disqus Thanks, Crystal

    • Anonymous

Renuzit printable coupon is gone :(

    • Crystal

Ok question for the Puffs coupon for P&G 10/16.  Your may be different but mine is $.25 off 3 puffs singles or ONE 3-pack, making them .90-.91$ cents each.  Just curious?  Thanks.

      • laura

It is .90 .91 cents each.

    • jodyg

my mom received ECB on a purchase she made with her CVS card, she gave them to me, does anyone know if I can redeem them when I make a purchase using my own card?  or do I have to use her card to redeem them?

      • Brenda

The ecb’s are tied to your card so you cannot use your mom’s ecb’s with your card.

      • pcarmi

You cannot.  They are “tied” to your CVS card number.

      • Jmmjc

you have to use her card.  The ECB the card # on them and they will not allow you to use them if it does not match.

      • Frances

You have to use her card to redeem her ECB.

        • jodyg

          thanks!

      • Anonymous

While you do have to use her account, if you don’t have the card you can use her phone number at the register to process our transaction using her ECB’s and tying it to her card.

      • Just4yall

I have only done this once while I was at my mothers house while my husband was deployed. You can try this. You can only use ECB for the card that was scanned LAST and the ECB will print under the card that was scanned LAST. So here is what you do. Ring up everything FIRST scan HER card use her ECB and then scan YOUR card use your ECB and then check out. I dont remember why I had to do that I just know things got messed up when I was picking of some things for her so to get my money back where it belonged I had to do this. Granted your Cashier might not let you do this.

    • Heathercmg

hi, does anyone know if the gift card promos for next week will work Saturday night?

      • jen

It depends on your individual store.

    • Reesecuptyler

      Hello,
Kind of new at CVSing and was curious to know if you have 7.00 in ECB and your purchase totals 5.00, do you get 2.00 back in ECBs?

      • laura

No, so you want to purchase something else to eat up that $2 ECB or you’re kind of wasting it.

        • Reesecuptyler

          Thanks!!

          • laura

            You’re welcome!

    • zeegee

Aveeno printable coupon (from their web site) is gone.

    • Lmh2h

There was also a printable coupon for $5 off Schick Quattro Men’s Razor & a $5 off Schick Quattro Women’s Razor that was previously available. Free razors (like we need more free razors). :-) Check your binders!

    • Staci_marie

Just got a $5 off Prilosec 28+ count from the red machine.  :)

I had a quick question about rainchecks and current ad promos. for example this upcoming week Almay is buy one get one 50% and I have a raincheck when the intense eyecolor was 5.99 get 4.00ecbs back limit 6. . Can I combine the raincheck with the current deal to get one eyecolor for 5.99 and the other for 2.99(50% off) and get (2) 4.00Ecbs back and both of those count towards the giftcard deal? Thanks!

      • Anonymous

Yes you will get the current deal and the cashier will manually print the ECB’s for raincheck.

    • Hayley

What is the gift card for in the $10 gift card wyb $30 of select products promotion?  For CVS?

      • Fromkhadija

It’s for Old Navy, Macy’s, Barnes and Noble, and a few other stores that I forget…

        • Mcleodsc

          Applebees

      • Anonymous

You are supposed to be able to choose your gift card…CVS is an option, American Express, Macy’s, Gap, and a few other options. When I was there last week my cashier didn’t let me choose…he just gave me an Amex card. No big deal since I can use it anywhere.

      • Surfergirl8989

My CVS in southern Tn didnt have any CVS gift cards…the cashier said corporate didnt send them any. So I got a Shell card.

        • Faye Wilkerson

my CVS used the store gift card.  The one you can buy and is reloadable.  Don’t know if they were suppose to but when they scanned my receipt it all worked.

      • Jessica Dunn

My store gave me the option to choose my gift card. The choices were:

        CVS
        Applebee’s
        Barnes&Noble
        Shell
        AMEX
        Macy’s
        GAP/Old Navy

If anyone has a Wachovia debit card, Wells Fargo is closing the debit card program and you need to redeem your rewards. One of the rewards is CVS gift cards.

      • Yuliyaporter

I have a Wachovia debit card, What  rewards are you talking about? Would  really like to know or  should  I call the bank? Thank you

        • Karenpen21

whenever you used your debit card or paid bills on line you got points. I don’t remember if I had signed up for it or if it was automatic. I would call the bank they should be able to let you know.

          • Yuliyaporter

will do. Thanks for letting us know!

    • Kgriffis

Who needs Similac checks or Enfamil coupons? I have some of both. I also have Enfamil newborn coupons. E-mail me your address and tell me what you need. First ones to let me know will get them. Thankfully breastfeeding is working out for me this time! kgriffis@cox.net

      • Kgriffis

        these have been claimed!

    • Candicami

I just need to brag about my CVS store!  They had a little Halloween trick-or-treat time for kids this afternoon and the entire store was decorated as well as a large number of the staff in costume. They had a Wizard of Oz theme with a yellow brick road and all the characters.  It was absolutely adorable!  My kids loved it and got some treats… plus they got some of the leftover bags from Sunday’s costume deal!  We didn’t get to go Sunday because of a sick kiddo, but one of the pharmacy technicians recognized my boys from a recent prescription pick-up and she passed them those.  So I got some treats too!! :)

    • Trish

Has anyone found the coupon for the CVS protective undergarments??

      • kidsallgone

        Nope :(

    • Donna

If u have the 5/30 coupon attached to your cvs card does it come off before your other coupons.  Also can u use that towards the 30..00 for the gift card?  thanks in advance

      • Ann S

It comes off after coupons.  I have been able to use them on the summer gift card promo that ran a couple months ago with no problem.

      • ericswifeowensmom

Yes, it would go towards the gift card if you purchased $30+ gift card items. I’m unsure of the first question-I have never done that before.

      • Teddysmom

Before coupons….but usually they must scan it first before the other coupons.  I use them all the time without any issues! :)

    • Yuliyaporter

Ladies, I have  a question about the $5/30 coupon. I got it via e-mail on Monday (I think)  and  in the e-mail  it said” $5 off  your purchase of $30.00 or more now through 10/30, but when  I clicked on and sent it to a printer it printed with the expiration date on 10/29!!!  I am not sure why. I went back to look at the e-mail and  it still had the Sunday date on it!  It  is very  frustrating if I can’t use it on a Sunday when a new add starts…

      • ericswifeowensmom

I think it is valid for a certain time period AFTER you print the coupon. You got an extension because you printed it later.

        • Jonna_brinkley

Mine did the same thing when I sent it to my card

I don’t understand what this is.(see below)  What is Jenny totalling?Total Value Purchased: $80.89
Total Spent in Cash: $19.93 (after using $10 gift card)
ECB Remaining: $7After you submit for the rebate, you got everything for $2.93!

      • Jessica Dunn

The $80.89 is the full price of everything, what you would have paid if you didn’t use coupons, gift card, and/or extra care bucks.
The $19.93 is how much actual cash you spent out of pocket or oop.
The $7 is how much in Extra Care Bucks you have remaining after the transactions.
After you get the $10 rebate back, then you only spent $9.93 in cash OOP. Subtract the $7 in remaining Extra Care Bucks and that’s where she gets the “you got everything for $2.93!”

        Make more sense now?

    • Ladybugpam

My receipts say “Buy 5 cards Get 1” and then the quantity towards free extra an amount needed to get free extra.  I bought 3 cards to do the deal a few weeks ago, gonna buy just 2 at first this time…I wanna see if this free extra will be a coupon that pops outta the red machine which I can use to pay for my 3rd card, get my ECB and therefore make it a moneymaker if I decide to buy 99cents cards or make it less expensive for me if I decide to buy the fancier cards!!  If I do get fancier cards, I can use the $1/3 printable:)  HTHs someone!

I need some help/suggestions.  Like many others we are down to one income and really struggling.  I have four step-children ages 13,12,11 and 4 (all girls except the oldest).  I want to coupon and get a nice Christmas for them and can use any suggestions from all of you.  I am thinking of maybe a cute little bag with nail polish, lip gloss etc for the 12 and 11 yo.  Thanks.

    • Christina

I was looking at the CVS circular and did not find the Listerine deal anywhere. Help please! its on sale this past week for 2.99, but I wanted the ECB so  I decided to wait till tomorrow to buy it, but the circular does not have the Lisertine deal.

      • Anonymous

It is page 12 in my ad. Has a pic of floss and a toothbrush.

        • Christina

Thanks so much! I see it now. I do not know how I missed that.  I saw all the other oral brands, but not Listerine.  Thank you!!

    • Yuliyaporter

Hi Ladies, I haven’t done  the Gift cards deal yet. Does CVS  track my transactions? For ex, I buy $36.00 worth  of stuff eligible for GC  and  then spend  $24   in my next trans, will I get one card in my first trans and another one after the second one???  Hope  that makes  sense what I am trying to say :)))

      • Isu2014

Yes it should work like that! One gift card each time that you hit $30 and it will keep track throughout the week.

        • Yuliyaporter

          thanks

    • Linustrobie

Quick question: How does using any of the listed coupons make the Dawn dish soap free, as Jenny indicates? I’m sure I’m missing something rather obvious, but I’d appreciate any guidance. Thanks! CVS does not double, right?

      • Lisa

If you use the $1 off coupon (that she mentions) it will be free.  It won’t be free if using a smaller value coupon.

        • Linustrobie

Oh goodness! I knew I was missing something obvious. Thanks, Lisa! Happy couponing :o)

I am new to this and need some help understanding before I go to CVS. When something like this is listed, does it mean that I need ALL of the coupons listed below to get the deal or is this just a list of the various places that I could get coupons from to get a deal? I am having a hard time figuring out what coupons to use and how to get them b/c a lot seem repetitive.
$3 ECB WYB $10 L’Oreal Eye Products starting at $5.49 LIMIT 1-$1 off L’Oreal Paris cosmetic product, RP 10/02-$1 off L’Oreal Paris eye product, RP 10/23-$2 off L’Oreal Paris cosmetic face product, RP 9/18-$1 off L’Oreal Paris eyeliner, RP 10/23-$2 off L’Oreal facial cosmetic PRINTABLE

      • Christina

The list of coupons all the ones that are available for that product.  However, you can only use ONE manufacturer coupon (M) and ONE store coupon (S) for one item.  RP means the coupon is from REd Plum and SS means the coupon is from Smart Source.  So you want to use the coupon that gives you the best deal which Jenny always advises using and show the outcome in the parenthesis at the end of each deal  However, if you don’t have the coupon then use the coupon that you do have if it is a good deal.  The ECB is extra cash bucks or ExtraBucks that will print out after your purchases and it can go towards any future purchase. Hope this helps!

        • Christina

Click on the tab on the top of this website: Learn to Coupon and Jenny will explain how to coupon! Good luck!

I was looking at the Listerine Zero coupon and it is for 1liter.  The ad is for 500 mili.  Can that coupon even be used?

      • Anonymous

That’s weird because I just looked at the two I printed and neither had a size restriction. Don’t remember when I printed them though.

      • If you printed them when they were available a few saturdays ago, there were no size restrictions on them. The ones that came in the paper on Sunday were for 1L

    • faith

Please refresh my memory. Can I purchase listerine and get 2.00 ECB and use it towards another listerine and that ECB will print? I know it doesn’t work like that at walgreen’s.

      • Swinksm

        Yes, you can at CVS.

    • Fallaya

Does anyone know about how many pull ups are in the mega packs?  My dd takes a size 3T/4T.

    • LittleRock Girl

I was looking at some other couponing websites, and I saw that you make possibly be able to buy 2 aveeno travel size moisturizing  lotions at $1.49 to get the $7.00 ECB deal which will make for a moneymaker of $4.00. The ad does state that  0.5-18 oz are included in this deal.  Has anyone tried this yet or planning on trying this?   Please let me know how it turned out.

      • Bkny63

I tried that tonight and it didn’t work.

        • LittleRock Girl

          Thanks for letting me know.

          • toni

            didn’t work for me either

      • Minx3194

My friends on the west coast tried it, and the ECB did not print on the trial/travel size priced at $1.49. The store also said they could not force them, or would not…

      • Alana262

It worked on the 2.5oz which are $3.49 in my store.  I’ll take a 2 cent MM on a great stocking stuffer.  :)

    • Marcelgeorge

I didnot get the $5/$30 coupon this week. Was it sent by email or on the CVS website?

      • Yuliyaporter

        mine was on the website

        • Jessica Dunn

Where on the website was yours?

          • Yuliyaporter

Sorry, didn’t see your q till now…  It’s on the cvs website. Click on Extra Care Tab on the top right, enter your account  and  it  will take you to “your rewards and coupons”  HTH

      • Rachel M

Mine was emailed to me and then I went to a link.

    • Brookie457

If you still have 4 of the CG $8/2 qs here is a deal you can do: buy 8 of the single blush @ $4.99 each and 1 cheap item (I bought 1 can of Planters mixed nuts @ $3, hubby LOVES nuts!) Total after qs was $2.78 including tax and I got a $10 Amex gift card! If you have any ECBs you can use these to make your OOP even less :) happy shopping!!

    • Couponing_Rocks!

Had a great run to CVS this afternoon with total before coupons = $79.87 & total OOP = 4.45

      Bought:
      2 Pantene Shampoos & 2 Pantene Conditioners @ 2/6.97 = $13.94
      5 Always Pantiliners @ 3.00 each = 15.00
      5 Always Pads @ 3.00 each = 15.00
      1 Schick Intuition Refill = 8.99
      2 Thermacare 3ct @ 5.99 each = 11.98
      2 Covergirl blushes & 2 Covergirl bronzers B1G1 50% 4.99 = 14.97
Tax = 7.06 (gotta love that TN tax!)

      Used:
      2 – 3.00/2 Pantene = (6.00)
      1 – 1.00 Pantiliners (1.00)
      4 – .50 Pantiliners (2.00)
      1 – 2.00 Pads (2.00)
      4 – 1.00 Pads (4.00)
      1 – 4.00 Schick refill (4.00)
      2 – 3.00 Thermacare (6.00)
      2 – 8.00/2 Covergirl (16.00)
Looking at my receipt now, I think the cashier also gave me 2 – 1.00 off Thermacare coupons that were attached to the packages.  When he rang those up, he pulled them off the package, but I said, “I have better coupons than those to use”, but apparently he still gave me those.  So there was another 2.00 (2.00)

      ECB’s used = (40.49)

      Total OOP = $5.45
Plus this earned me 2 – 10.00 American Express giftcards.  My total was 58.90 for the gift card promotion, but that was close enough apparently because it printed a coupon for two.

      Net cost:
      OOP = 5.45
      + ECB’s used +40.49
      – ECB’s received  (9.00)
      – Value of Gift Cards Received (20.00)
Net Cost = 16.94.  Plus, I’ll get another 28.94 towards beauty club which will push me over $50.00 so I’ll get a $5.00 ECB next time I go.  Overall, a great trip.

      • Yuliyaporter

Is  Intuition on sale????  I have  two coupons for $5.00  that I am  waiting  to use, but  I don’t  see them  in Jenny’s list. Only Schick Quatro razors or refills.

        • Couponing_Rocks!

I’m sorry – it was the Quattro I bought.

        • jennaj81

Intuition will be on sale starting 11/06! It’s a spend $20 get $10 ecb deal.

          • Cayacoup

How do you find out the upcoming deals more than a week in advance?

      • Cayacoup

How long does it take for Beauty Club total to update?

    • Guest

Does any one know if I can use my $4 off $20 coupon with the $5 off $20
facial care purchase? For example i have a raincheck for the neutrogena
micro kit for 19.99 and will pick up some cheap facial products plus
various items. Can I buy the items and use both coupons if my totals
      reach the threshold? Thanks.

      • Chele17rene

        YES YOU CAN!!

        • Guest

Thanks. I will go tomorrow then since I can use both.

          • Anonymous

You can use them but watch your receipt.  Every once in a while, one of them gets voided out when the cashier hits the total key and you lose one of them.

    • Guest

I was wondering if the CVS stores in your area have stopped accepting internet coupons. As of last week my store in North Alabama had signs up stating they were no longer taking internet coupons.

      • Lindsey

The CVS I have been going to has stopped, too. I’m in Raleigh, NC. I think it’s just a mean manager though…I’ve been meaning to write to corporate. He had me in tears last time.

        • Salovescb

I wrote corporate and they said they haven’t heard anything of this. So, maybe it just depends on the manager? Hopefully!

      • kidsallgone

I used 2 Starburst internet coupons this evening and did not have a problem with them accepting them :)

      • Jessica Dunn

I went to my CVS in North Augusta and used 6 internet coupons (Excedrin, 4 Mars coupons, and the $2 off Scott paper towels/bath tissue) oh and my printed out $4.50 ECB from the website and my store accepted them all no prob!!

    • Jennifer

Please help!  my parents are on a limited income and my mom uses the protective undergarments which can be very expensive.  Jenny has coupons listed for these items which when you click on them it takes you to the CVS website but I can not find any of the coupons that she had listed. Has anyone been able to find these coupons?

      • kidsallgone

I clicked on her link and also didn’t see any of the undergarment coupons.  Not sure if they are all out or not.  I could also use a few for my mom.

        • skay

I am looking for these as well and have tried all the links – none of them work – can anyone help us??

    • Anonymous

The Goody coupon listed doesn’t match. The sale is for Goody hair accessories, the Goody coupon is for the pain reliever.

    • guest

I am just now learning about couponing and have a question about ECB and how it works.  I’ve read Jenny’s tips what the abbreviations mean but what are the dates next to the abbreviations?  Is that the date the coupon came from the source?  Also, from what I’ve read, ECBs are only usable on your next transaction right?  How come on some of these listings, it says to use ECB on the same purchase or am I misreading it?  For ex:  $2 ECB WYB Depend Underwear Briefs, 14-20 ct., or Guards, 48 ct., $11.99 Limit 1 -$2/2 Depend products printable -$2 off Depend Extra Protection product printable(use $2 off, makes it $7.99)
If I can only use $2 ECB, wouldn’t I be paying $9.99 if I had a $2 coupon?  Also CVS will not get mad if I go in and break everything into all these separate transactions in order to get the ECB just to use on another transaction right after that one?

      • guest

I meant if I can only use $2 ECB on the NEXT transaction, wouldn’t I be paying $9.99 if I had a $2 coupon?

        • Ejhunt

Yes, in theory, but in reality, you get those extra $2 in ECB to use on your next transaction, so it’s really like you are getting $4 off the total price.  It’s confusing, I know.  It gets easier the longer you do it, I promise!!  :)  As for the dates…she usually lists where the coupon came from…for instance: -$1 off Mucinex Fast-Max Liquid, SS 10/09…this means that the $1 off coupon was in the Smart Source insert on 10/09.  Some people keep their inserts whole and filed that way…so it makes it easier for them to find the coupon they are looking for.  I cut all of mine out when I get them, and I file them in a binder.  However, having the dates listed does trigger my memory sometimes to know why I should/should not have a particular coupon.  You’ll do great…good luck!!!  Oh, and CVS is nothing compared to Walgreens…they will REALLY confuse you early on!!  :)

        • donna

Jenny also calculates the prices of the ECB’s included to make it $7.99 so yes, “technically” it would be $9.99 but with the $2 ECB’s makes it $7.99.  The dates would be where the coupon is located.  Sometimes some coupons are regional so you may not have that coupon for that date.  CVS usually doesn’t mind if you have many transaction as long as you let them know and if anyone is behind you, you usually let them go ahead of you just to be polite.  Good luck couponing and I hope this helps :)

          • guest

Thank you all so much!  I am going to try couponing and see how it works out.  Just got my 1st newspaper last week and have been trying to learn everything on here.  I’m getting excited!

      • Deshisk8chick

If it says 2 ecb wyb depends (select counts) then you will get those 2 back at the end of the transaction. So if you go
Ahead and use a $2 coupon you will pay 7.99 and get a $2 coupon at the bottom of that receipt that you can use the next time you come in or
On your next transaction if you have multiple. No cvs doesn’t get
Mad if you have more than one
Transaction but if you have more than 2 and the
Story is busy step to the back of the line and then continue its only polite to do that. Hope this helps

      • Roxboro

I break all my CVS orders up to apply my ECB from one transaction to the next. I try to shop during low peak hours to not hold up the line. They have not given me a hard time about it at all. You can use an ECB and coupons on the same transaction. Think of an ECB as if it’s earned cash back.

You can save all your ECB and go back for a wonderful FREE spree, but it’s tricky. They have short expiration dates and if I don’t spend them when I earn them, I sometimes don’t make it back before they expire.

The date listed is when it came in the paper. so all coupons listed as 10/30 came in Sunday, Oct 30’s paper. I hope this helps.

      • Anonymous

You will pay 9.99 out of pocket for the Depends, and then get 2 ECB at the end of your transaction.  ECB are like cash.  You can use them on anything in the store. So while you initially did spend 9.99 for the Depends, Jenny will subtract the ECB from the price because you were handed 2 dollar (in effect) at the end of your purchase.

When you go into CVS, ask you cashier politely if you can do multiple transactions. If they say no, do your first transaction & leave.  I have never had one tell me no. I have left the line and put myself at the end of the line to do a second or third transaction if there were people behind me.  They are pretty used to couponers and will be awesome if you are polite.

I know all the cashiers at my CVS and they treat me like an old friend, not with an “oh no, here comes that lady who always asks for rainchecks…”

    • Mercedes Butler

Can you use the $2 off Listerine 1L or larger coupon for the 500ml one that’s on sale??

      • Anonymous

No. You have to go by the size indicated on the coupon.

    • couponmom214

How do you get the (2) $3 coupon on Thermacare Heartwraps ?  It only let me  print one?

      • Mercedes Butler

It did me the same way. I unhooked my printer, switched to a different browser, and then it let me print it again.

        • couponmom214

I wish that I know how to do that! We have the Brother wireless printer.  Thank you for your reply.

          • Mercedes Butler

Try turning your printer off, then back on, and using a different browser. That might work. Hope it does!

    • Lindsey Whritenour

How Early do you go to the store to get the deals? Seems like every time I go about 8am everything is gone already and I have to get Rain checks its just frustrating. I go to the 3 CVS that are close to me.

      • Mcclellanda79

Are you going at 8am on Sunday morning or just a miscellaneous weekday morning? I would suggest calling the store to find out what day their truck comes in. You might be going after early birds have gotten all that was in stock but before the truck comes in to restock the shelves. If you’re going in on Sunday morning at 8am and not finding the “deals” somthing is going on. There should be plenty of sale items left on the shelves that close to opening time and on the 1st day of the sale. Luckily I’ve never had a problem at my small town CVS. They always have plenty of stock of the sale items (even the freebies).

        • Kmadonna

The “truck” rarely brings more sale items to the store that week.  I have waited months to purchase raincheck items.  Thankfully, the rainchecks do not expire!

      • Brooke

MOST CVS stores start there sale at 4pm on Saturday. I didn’t know this until about 3 months into couponing at CVS and wondered the same thing. Now I make sure I am at my store by 4pm on Saturday and can usually always get the deals. My CVS manager told me that CVS only gets 3 items in at a time, so even going a 4pm only the first few people are going to get the deal. I love rain checks but so many people get them and the coupons expire before I can get the deal. For example the Airwick I Motion deal where they were 5 dollars and if you spent 12 you got back 4 ECB. I got a raincheck for that but they never got them in stock at my store… my 4.00/1 coupon expired last week! Luckily I got 3 from the glade sense and spray last week and made 1.00 on buying 3!

    • Mcclellanda79

      Newbie coupon question:
CVS is running a sale on Mars Single Candy Bars B2G1. Can I still use 2 B2G1 coupons and 2 $1 off any 2 Mars Product coupon if I only buy 6 candy bars? I’m confused as to how to figure how many coupons I can use of each since it’s a B2G1 sale, B2G1 q, and $1/2 q. If anyone can help me figure out the best scenario it would be greatly appreciated (I have 15 of each q).

      • Jessica Dunn

I believe so. To the best of my knowledge the sale runs independently of the coupons. It’s like in the workshop when Jenny is explaining b1g1 at drugstores and using coupons (b1g1 or other). The store is still getting paid just from the company (in this case Mars) instead of you. Make sense?

        Hope this helps!

      • Nita Royal

Presuming that your B2G1s are MFG Q’s, you would be able to use 2 of those on 6 items.  Since each of those coupons attaches to a total of 3 items, you shouldn’t be able to also use the $1 off.  Not saying that some cashier wouldn’t push it through, but officially, you can only use one MFG Q/item.  If the B2G1 is from the store, then you can also use the $1 off MFG Qs.  HTH

    • cvser

Can I buy 2 Olay Regenerist Facial Care $20.99(excludes kits and specialty treatments), use the -$10/2 man. coupon, the -$5 off 20 on facial skincare coupon from the red machine, the $4 off 20 emailed CVS coupon, get a $10 gift card, and do the $10 mail in rebate? And wouldn’t that make these basically $1.49 a piece?! I’m not sure if I can use both of those cvs coupons together, or if this item is included in the mail in rebate.

      2*20.99=41.98 – 19 = 22.98 oop with a $10 gift card and $10 mail in rebate

Also, since I bought 41.98 worth of gift card eligible stuff do I get the remaining 11.98 (41.98 – 30) as a sort of credit to use towards my next gift card eligible purchases? In other words, to do a 2nd gift card promo do I need to buy another $30 worth of stuff or just $18.02 (30 – 11.98)? Thank you!

      • Jessica Dunn

I believe you should be able to use both store coupons since they are both $/$20 and you have $41.98 total (or 2 $20 worth to use). But I have never tried this so I can’t say for sure.
To the best of my knowledge (my receipt is in the other room) yes the remaining $11.98 does go towards you next gift card purchase so you should just need $18.02 to get a 2nd gift card. I don’t know if it carries over into the next week or not though.

        Hope this helps!

      • Yep that would work. Your scenario was similar to mine. Use the Buy one Olay and get a Lip perfection free coupon from 10/30 PG to get some free lipstick too

      • ym

and don’t forget you get $5 ECB when you spend $50 on beauty items at CVS!!!

      • Michelledalton36

You can use the $4/20 CVS and $5/$20 together if amt is over $40 and $20 is in facial skincare. I used my $5/$30 with my $5/$20 red machine coup this evening and it works : )

    • Jklyles1

Red machine gave me a free iced coffee this morning!!!! Rang up $2 and coupon took off $2.49!

      • Anonymous

Someone left their free q next to the red machine. I was tempted to pick it up, but knew it would beep if used. Such a waste! Got my own, but it felt like throwing money away!

      • Surfergirl8989

Me too but that stuff tastes awful …like burnt coffee!!

    • Bekahbekah7

I have a questions regarding the rebates. Can I submit for both the olay rebate and for the pink pg rebate as well for the same products? and how would that work if everything  was purchased on one receipt and both need original in order to submit.

      • Anonymous

You need to have an original receipt for each rebate.  You won’t be able to submit for both rebates.  Maybe you can do a return and have the cashier rering them on a different order so you can have a different receipt.

    • Anonymous

If you have the right Qs and if everything is in stock, you can get some really good deals at CVS this week.  This is what I bought and used.
1st Transaction – Aveeno:  Bought 2 Aveeno Daily Moisturizing Lotions 2.5 oz for $3.69/ea, used $3/2 Q and 3 ECB, spent 1.38 after tax and rec’d $7 ECBs back on Aveeno deal and $1 ECB for green tag.
      2nd Transaction – Digornio:  Bought 4 pizzas for $5/ea, used 3 $2 Digornio product & 1 $1 Digiornio Pizza Qs, used $4/20 CVS Q, & $8 ECBs from 1st transaction, spent $1.45 after tax.

      • Nala

So after you buy 2 Aveeno Lotions you will get $7 back on the deal?  I thought you had to spend over $10 dollars?

        • Anonymous

Maybe that is a separate deal, I’m not sure. It is at the bottom of page 10 on the flyer. It just says get $7 ECB when you buy 2 Aveeno Moisturizing Lotion .5 – 18 oz and my $3/2 Q was on any Aveeno item. Hope that helps!

      • Nala

So after you buy 2 Aveeno Lotions you will get $7 back on the deal?  I thought you had to spend over $10 dollars?

      • Cayacoup

I also had an AWESOME CVS trip today. i Made sure I was there @ 715am (they open at 7) and got down to business! Kept seeing people say they had $5/$20 CVS cpn but hadn’t gotten it. I scanned my card today and got it!! Got two Olay regenerist moisturizers (retail total $50) for $6 (after B1G1 cpn, CVS cpn and $10 GC)..yay!

But about the Aveeno. You only have to buy 2. I bought 2 sample size (1oz) bottles @ $1.49ea. I made a $4 profit!! They are lucky there was a 1 deal limit for this one!  lol

        • Anonymous

Glad you had a good trip, too! :)

        • Shaz

how is everyone getting the 5/20? coupon

          • Anonymous

I get an CVS email almost once a week with a $4/20 or $5/25 Q that I can either print out or send to my card.  I just assume it is because I shop there almost every week.  Not sure??

          • It says in the sales paper that when you scan your card at the Coupon Machine it will print a $5/$20 facial care purchase.

        • dsmith

I bought the Aveeno sample size also and did not get the ECB.  Returned them.

      • My $3/2 coupon says “excludes trial and 2.5oz sizes” beside the barcode. :(

        • Anonymous

Hmm … Mine came from the SS that I got in the WSJ yesterday. Since I’ve used it now and I only get one of those papers, I can’t go back and ck. I see the ones from my AJC do have that exclusion. Sometimes my WSJ & AJC Qs are different. The Q didn’t beep, so I don’t know now whether it had that exclusion or not. Sorry. :(

          • I wasn’t accusing you of using it wrong. I just assumed mine was different.

            • Anonymous

I didn’t take it like you were. :)
I just wanted to investigate but unfortunately couldn’t fully do so. :) Have a good day!

            • OK just making sure. It’s hard to tell what “tone” people are using when everything is typed and I didn’t want you to think I was being a smarty pants. :)

      • Stephanie

I was trying this Aveeno deal earlier but it looked to me like the only Aveeno items that qualified for ECB were the real expensive things, $20+ and up…..  I didn’t even see the 2.5 oz bottles you bought, I was looking.  :(

    • Kathyabele

If I buy the regenerist and use the b1g1 coupon for covergirl lip perfection both of which are included in gift card deal, does the price of the lipstick count toward gift card? Plus is my next covergirl item 1/2 off?

      • Yes it is I did it this morning :)

      • Isu2014

The covergirl items must be purchased in the same transaction for them to ring up B1G1/2. CVS cards do not keep track of B1G1 or B1G1/2 off products.

    • Here’s the deal I did this morning I bought
1 Olay Rengerist Facial Care at 20.99
1 Olay Regenerist Treatment at 24.99
2 Cover Girl Lip Perfection Lipsticks one at 7.99 and one at 3.99 since it’s buy one get one 50 percent off
      Illy Coffee at 2.00
      Schick Quatro Razor at 8.99
      Total before coupons 68.95
      Coupons used
      $4 off 20
      $5 off 20 facial products
$10/2 Olay Regenerist Manufacture Coupon RP 9/25
and 2 Buy any Olay Rengenerists/Total Effects or Hair Duo removal product and get a Lip perfection lipstick free PG 10/30 one at 7.50 and the other 3.99
      CVS Illy coupon 2.49
      Schick razor coupon 5.00
      Used 21.00 ECB
      Paid 12.43 with tax
Got back $9 in ECB, a 10 CVS gift card back and I’m submitting the Olay rebate
My spreadsheet tells me that i got everything for 1.96 after rebates and everything
      I’m happy :)

      • cvser

Nice job! Wondering how you could use the $10/2 olay coupon as well as 2 b1g1 lip perfection. Seems like that is applying 3 manufacturers coupons to the 2 olay items purchased…and since the $10 off is for 2 items, I wouldn’t think you could use either of the b1g1 coupons in todays paper. Is my logic wrong?

        • Alana262

Seems like the B1G1 will attach to the lipstick items since she did not have a coupon for those.  I’m going to try it.  Seems fair if you are not using other manufacture coupons on the lipstick.

    • Mcleodsc

I got a 5/20 facial product cpn. Any ideas as to what this can be used on? It expires tomorrow so I need to come up with a scenario -help

      • Cayacoup

I got (2) Olay Regenerist moisturizers @ $20.99 ea. Used CVS cpn, B1G1 cpn in today’s P&G and received $10 GC since they were both included in this week’s deal. If you love the moist. like I do, it’s a steal!

    • Alana262

Anyone have a Zip code for the Celine perfume?

    • Kristen

I tried the aveeno deal with (2) of the 8 ounce moisturizing lotions which are on sale 2/$13 and the ECB doesnt print for that size with the sale just to give a heads up. It has to be for regular priced aveeno so I think it may be working for the smaller size.

      • Kristen

Did it print for anyone else who tried this size?

        • Sue

I tried the same thing, and it didn’t work for me either.

    • Silvertechmetals

I just got back from cvs bought 8 eyeshadow at 4.94 each. Used 4 8/2 coupons. But did not give me my gift card? They said it would be after coupons help please

      • Mcleodsc

look at the bottom of your rcpt to see how close you are to $30. Remember half of those rang up at 50% off.

        • Silvertechmetals

Thank you I’m new at this. You are more better then the mgr lol
          Thanks again

      • Caity

You’re only at $29.64… buy one more thing and you’ll get it :-)

      • Anonymous

Jenny has mentioned previously that eyeshadow is not considered a face product.  There are 3 categories, eye products, lip products and face products. Your store probably will not get reimbursed for that purchase.  I only recently found this out from her. Not downing you, I’m sure you didn’t know, I just waned to let others know.

      • alison

Your total would have been $29.64 before coupons and not including tax, so you did not reach the $30 yet.

    • Kmadonna

.99 cards are included in the American Greetings deal – thanks CVS for (3) free sympathy cards!

    • Ann S

Heads up everyone, there is a problem with the gift card system today.  It seems like you can’t turn in your coupon for a gift card more than one time at any store.  We ended up having to return some of my items, purchasing them again, then taking my coupons to a different store.

      • Czalinsky

worked fine at mine… that sounds wacky.. sorry u had to go throught that

      • Aturner527

Same thing happened to me today!  They finally made it work, though.

      • Anonymous

I sure hope that is not the case, becuase I am going back today for gift card number 2. It says limit of 5 so I wonder how they could only limit 1 per store. I only have 1 CVS within 50 miles of me.

        • Anonymous

Ok, so it worked fine for me! Just racked up 4 of them with VERY little OOP.

      • Amelvincare

I had the same problem. I had a $20 gift card coupon and it would only give me $10. After spending around 10 minutes trying to figure it out, they asked me to come back tomorrow when the general manager is there. Hopefully, the problem can be resolved.

      • Mcleodsc

I got 4 cards today with no problem

    • Sue

I bought one Aveeno skin relief moisturizing lotion (8oz) and one daily moisturizing lotion (8oz).  They were part of the sale which made them $6.49 each before coupons.  I had thought that they were also included in the buy 2 get 7 extra bucks offer, but my extra bucks didn’t print.  Are these not included or should I go back and ask the store to print them?

      • Allforthe4leggers

I thought the same thing but it looked like the smaller bottles were part of the deal and not the larger ones. The way my store had it set up with that section, the 2 for $13 wasn’t part of the extra buck deal. I bought the bigger bottles anyway and used the $5 of $20 store coupon and $3 off 2 aveeno products. You would have to buy the bigger bottles is what it looked like at my store.

        • Shelly

The items in my store all had yellow tags in front of them.. 2/$13 and then a different one that showed the amount of the item; ($21.99) then below it it showed the $7 ECB when you bought 2.

I bought (2) 18 oz Daily Moisturizer for $12.49 each; used the $3 mq, $5 off $20 facial store coupon and $4 off $20 store coupon.  Deduct the $7 ECB received from it and it comes to $3 each.  I was pretty impressed with myself until I read the money makers above!  Wow!  Great job ladies!

      • Stephanie

Ok, so tell me, are the bottes that are 2 for $13 part of the $7 ECB deal??  My store didn’t have those marked as ECB items…  They only had those tags on the real expensive $20+ stuff…..

    • Couponing_Rocks!

Here’s the deal I came up with for my mom.

      Buy:
      Olay Regenerist Facial Care $20.99
      Olay Regenerist Treatment $24.99
      2 Lip Perfection 7.99 B1G1 50% = 11.98
      Total = 57.96

      Use:
      $5/20 beauty (5.00)
      $10/2 from 9/25 RP (10)
2 – Free Lip Perfection Max Value 7.50 (15.00) – they gave us 7.50 credit for each coupon

      Total Due before tax: $27.96
      Get:
      5.00 ECB (5.00)
      10.00 Gift Card (10.00)
      Submit for Olay rebate (10.00)
Purchase earns 5.00 beauty club ECB for buying 50.00 printed at next visit (5.00)

      Calculated Cost = ($2.04) + tax of 4.77 = $2.73 for all!!!

There’s a lot of steps to this, but worth it for 58.00 worth of freebies.

      • Mbassett73

Where did you find the lip perfection coupons?

        • Couponing_Rocks!

They were in the paper today – had to buy Olay Regenerist & got the lip perfection free.

          • Themartins55

Where were they in the paper? Thanks…Sheri

            • couponmom

They’re in the P&G coupon insert.  Hopefully you got it.  I’ve read that lots of people were slighted that insert for some reason.  :(

    • What all can you buy with the $5/20 facial skincare coupon? Can I use it for eye makeup remover?

      • Anonymous

That may be a question for cvs. Cover girl doesn’t think your eyes are part of your face. Lol!

        • Shaz

what can you use the 8/2 coupon for?

          • Anonymous

I too think it is funny that our eyes and lips are on our face but these make up items are not considered face items by Cover girl.  What is counted is everything that is not eye, brow or lip, such as foundation, powder, concealer, and blush.

          • couponmom

I used it at Publix for eyeshadow ($2.99) without a problem.  I kindly asked both the cashier AND the store manager who was bagging my groceries and she said “yes, eyes are part of your face, so it works!” ;-)  I had 4 coupons, bought 8 eyeshadows and made $2.01 on each set of two.  That put me just under the $25 needed to for the rebate, so I bought a can of swiffer spray for $3.87 that I had a $2.00 coupon for.  I MADE money on this transaction and am submitting for the pink bakeware.  Yay!!!  However, now I’m seeing all these wonderful deals at CVS and kind of sorry I didn’t choose to use those $8/2 coupons and get rebates and gift cards back!  My boys would appreciate those MUCH more than pink bakeware for Christmas!!!  LOL!!!

        • CatBlue

Mine in Middle TN counted eyes as face.

    • Anonymous

I know there is only one day left on the PG Pink Rebate, but I want to make absolute sure before I buy items…It specifically says to circle and list the purchase prices.  Even though I may use a coupon and pay less for an item, I still list the price it rang up as, right? Has anyone called the 1-800 number on the rebate form to ask if it is before coupons?

      • DianneL

Yes, they want the price it rang up before coupons!

    • Corysarah12

      • Anonymous

Go back tomorrow and rack up on some CG blush or powder (about 6 of them), use 3 $8/2, use your $10 gift card you just got…you will owe nothing, still have $ left on your gift card, plus get another $10 gift card. I then rolled this gift card into another identical transaction…still paying nothing, but racking up enough to get another $10 gift card and be able to submit for the $10 PG rebate when you buy $50 of Cover girl.

        • Corysarah12

Yeah, I know these two days are awesome for the $8/2 CG coupons, but I had already used my 4 coupons I had at Rite Aid earlier in the month when they had the B1G1 50% with $10ups after spending $30.  I too ended up getting $50 worth of CG makeup for practically free and just mailed in my P&G rebate a few days ago ;-)  Loving these drugstore deals and manf. rebates lately!

          • Anonymous

Sounds like an equivalent deal! But CVS may be have an advantage with the $5 for $50 in beauty purchases.

    • Emily

Did not get $3.00 ECB when I bought 3 Hallmark cards in Clover, SC?!

      • DianneL

I wonder why, too. That’s one of the deals I want to do this week. Did you see the exclusions Jenny listed?Could that be the problem? I would call the store and ask if they know.

        • Emily

I think I will call them! I should’ve gone back in. I just figured I wasn’t any good at this couponing business! LOL! Thanks!

          • RJ

It wasn’t listed in the add, so I didn’t try it. :-(

            • Czalinsky

It was listed n mine, I did it this morning and it worked fine..

      • Canes1999

its not Hallmark, its american greetings that is why

    • Anonymous

    • RJ

Aveen deal…do the lotions that are on sale 2 for $13 get you the $7 ECBs?

      • RJ

        AveenO – sorry…

      • Stephanie

I don’t think they are.  I was there tonight trying to figure that out, and the ones that are 2/$13 don’t have the ECB tag on them……  :(

        • Blueys1000

They don’t. Made that mistake tonight.

Bought 2 olay regenerist for 20.99- 42$ – $5/20 store , $10/2 use $3/1 regenerist mq and 2 covergirl $7.99 each lipstick (free mq from today’s paper wyb olay regenerist) for 27.24$ w tax. Got $10 cvs giftcard deal for purchase over $30. And will submit for rebate for $10 wyb $30. So after rebate I paid 7.24 including tax. The $3 off olay I used expires 10/31, so if u have t gotten the olay deal, look thru ur coupons from the last p&g from the first week this month.

      • Anonymous

You used a $10/2 and a $3/1 for 2 items? If so that is fraud. You only purchased 2 items, the $10/2 is the only man.Q you should have used OR you could have used 2 $3/1 coupons. Maybe I am misreading it.

      • Mcleodsc

My CVS won’t allow that transaction-too many coupons per products.

    • Anonymous

Soo excited. Just got $110 worth of Covergirl, Charmin, and illy coffee drink for only $4.49 OOP + I got a $10 gift card + I can submit for the $10 PG rebate. Soo, like making $15.51!! Somehow I managed it, even with both of my youngins.

      • Pinevalleyranch

Awwwsome!  I have NOOO idea how to do that.  Please share!

        • Anonymous

Tomorrow is your last day to do it since the coupons expire 10/31. I won’t go into major details becuase I don’t know what kind of makeup you want. I bought 6 CG face products B1G150% at approximately $6 (1/2 off $3) = $27. Bought the Charmin toilet paper to make the $30. Used 3 $8/2 and 1 $0.25/1 for tp. I didn’t mention that I also used a $7 ECB. My first transaction was about $4.50, I got the $10 gift card. I did the same transaction again, used my $10 GC, got another $10 GC, then did one more transaction, used my $10 GC, got one more $10 GC. Sooo in the end, I added up my receipts, about $110 worth of products for $4.50 oop, then submit for $10 rebate and save your $10 GC for more ECB’s next week.

          • Pinevalleyranch

Thats great, I can’t believe you can do that.  I’m new and still get confused on even the small deals.  Still learning.  Your explanation is good  for me to review. Thanks for the details, it helps when your so new:)

    • Godlymom71

I was wondering if you purchase appox. $60 worth of Gift Card products, do you get two $10 gift cards or one? If you just get the one, what happends to the rest of the purchase does it rollover? Thanks anyone.

      • Alicia

Yes, it will rollover up until your 5th deal

    • BamaGirl43

I found a good way to use the $5/$20 face product.  The Olay facial wipes, original and sensitive pump cleansers and the cleansing cloths are 3.99.  There are $2 off Olay facial cleansers from the 9/25 RP.  You pay only $7 for 6 good Olay products.

      • Mcleodsc

Are those items also eligible for the Olay Rebate that just came out? I don’t have mine in front of me right now-

      • dsmith

I did this one yesterday too.  I bought 2 pump cleansers and 4 of the cleansing cloths for $3.99 each. Used the $5/$20 face product from the CVS machine, the $4/$20 from the CVS website, and (6) $2 off Olay facial cleansers from 9/25 rp. Payed $ 2.94 + tax  for all of this!!!  And this will finish my $30 Olay so I can send in the $10/$30 Olay rebate.  Yea!!!!!

    • Leticiag30

How do you submit the PG Rebate? I would like to do the Olay deal.

    • Adn823d7

The american greeting card deal is not at every cvs this week.  check sales paper before you buy

    • Stephsva

Awesome Cover Girl makeup deal! Only cost $1.49 OOP and I got 2 of the $10 gift cards and will send for the $10 mail in rebate. So buying all of this earned me $33.51!!

      2 Mascara ($7.79)
      6 Eyeshadow ($3.79)

      4 Eyeliner ($5.49)
      4 Blush ($4.89)

I used 8 of the $8/2 Cover Girl face product coupons. For this deal and did it is 2 transactions.

    • Leticiag30

I’m not really good at using coupons, could someone tell me if I could do the next  transaction and get the 10 gift card?

      1 Olay Regenerist  20 99
      1 Gain detergent 5.94
      1 Lip perfection  7.99

      and use:

      $3 off Olay
      $2 off Gain detergent
B1G1 free when you buy Olay
      4 off $20
      Can this work?  Thanks

      • Mt Cabingirl

Is the b1g1 for the lip perfection?

        • Leticiag30

yes, it is for the Lip perfection.

          • Mt Cabingirl

ok let me look at it

        • Mcleodsc

You buy the Olay Regenerist and get the CoverGirl Lip perfection free.

          • Marcelgeorge

I just bought 2 of the Olay Regenerist Moisturizers fr4om CVS and didnot get the CoverGirl Lip perfection free.  Should I tell them the next time I am in the store.

      • Mt Cabingirl

Yes I believe it will work for you.  Total before coupons=34.92 + tax minus coupons is around 17.93 + tax.  You will get a gift card $10.00

        • Leticiag30

Thanks a lot. I’ll try it tomorrow.

          • Mt Cabingirl

yes and if you have enough coupons you could do it again.

            olay,gain,lip perfection =34.92 + tax
            minus
3.00, 2.00, 7.99, 10.00 (CVS gift card you can get from your first transaction)
            =11.93.
you will get another gift card for 10.00

      • Mcleodsc

I would try buying the Olay and Lipstick first and see if it print off. If it doesn’t then do another trans with the Gain. I had one print yesterday and all I bought was the Olay and Lipstick but I do not know if I had something left from a previous transaction.

    • aria

does Olay purchase count towards beauty club spending? Mine didnt and if it was suppossed to, i ll go back and fix it. TIA

      • Anonymous

It should. Probably just hasn’t showed on your card yet. Give it a day or two.

        • Aria

          Thank you

      • shelly

Yes, it takes several days to post to your account and Yes, it does count towards your Beauty Rewards.  :-)

      • Mcleodsc

It will show up in 2 to 3 days. You will get a nice surprise when you scan your card at the red machine! Just when I think I need to call about it-it prints!!

    • Linden

Went to CVS today and did awesome (like so many of you out there!), but I was disappointed because I wanted to get that free listerine as well, because we use a TON of that stuff.  But there was no sign and the girl couldn’t find it in the add, so I guess it’s not on sale this week?

      • CatBlue

It was not in my local TN ad – I always check online or in the paper before shopping.

        • shelly

That’s weird…I didn’t know ads were regional.  We had the Listerine deal in our ad.  I’m sorry you weren’t able to do it.  :-(

      • DianneL

Sometimes if I don’t see the deal, I go and scan the price at the red machine. That machine knows all! :)

    • Dani

Today I went to cvs and tried getting two olay regenerist and two lip perfections. I tried using the $10/2 and two BOGO for the lipstick. The cashier would not let me use both the money off and the BOGO so I walked away empty handed. Was I wrong to try to use both?

      • Mt Cabingirl

what coupon is the bogo lipstick?

      • Rubies20

Our cvs does not allow stacking of a bogo coupon and money off

      • No you weren’t, I used those coupons and it worked for me

    • Allforthe4leggers

This is the first rebate form I’m trying to fill out. I’m assuming I can use multiple receipts/transactions to get this, right? So some from Ingles, some from CVS..etc? Also say I bought 6 pantenes and they are all the same upc code can I list that once and multiply the price for 6? I know I’ve spent enough to get it want to make sure I do it right. Thanks

      • Mcleodsc

I used some from Dollar General, WAGS, and CVS. I read on another coupon blog that they were accepting rcpts. from certain other stores and Dollar General was not one of these. I sent my rebate in over a week ago so it is too late to inquire at P & G. I would suggest that you call P & G and ask before submitting your rebate.

        • Allforthe4leggers

Thanks guys. I did call this morning and the lady told me to list them individually. So I asked if I could include an additional piece of paper with the codes since I wouldn’t have enough room on the form. She said that was fine to just write a note as to what the extra paper was for. So off to print another form :)

        • I actually called this morning to see if Rite Aid was participating because I read somewhere that it was not and the lady said that they don’t have a list of participating stores.

      • DianneL

You should be OK just to list the upc codes once x 6 since you have the receipts. Once I sent in a rebate form for P&G that wanted me to include the actual upc codes cut off the product. I had bought Tide stain remover (the little toss in thingies) and I was cutting a hole in the package that was big enough for them to fall out of. I just sent a note explaining why I only included one cut upc code, and I still got the rebate.

    • Fallaya

      Is the Huggies deal regional?

    • Fallaya

      Is the Huggies deal regional?

    • Catherine C Ford

Is the total for CG products calculated at the price before BOGO? Or does it calculate at the total price after the 50% is taken from the secondary items (before coupons)?

      • shelly

It calculates the 1/2 off price.

    • shelly

I wanted to ask where you get the $10.00 CG rebate form?  I’ve bought a ton of makeup lately with my coupons but was never given a rebate form.  Can you let me know where I might find it?  And, once I find it, are there instructions on what they require to get the rebate?  Thanks so much for your help!!

      • I printed mine from their facebook page. HTH!

      • pgpinkrebate dot com

      • Guest

This link is not working for me…. I get an “access denied” message.  Is it possible that the rebate form is no longer available even though you have until Nov to mail it in?  Any other ideas on where to find the rebate form?

        • It seems that a lot of people have been having this problem since yesterday. I went to their website yesterday morning just fine, but I guess they took the website down yesterday afternoon. :(

    • Walkbyfaith11 1

There was no 3 ECB deal for the Hallmark cards in my area, and I found out too late :( (Orlando, FL)

      • DianneL

You can always return the cards if you don’t need them. Sorry it didn’t work!

      • Kmadonna

        American Greetings – not Hallmark

    • Phyllis

Can anyone tell me if the Cover girl Queen products are included in the rebate? Thanks

    • Jenny

Did anyone find the Libby canned pumpkin at their CVS? It was pictured in the add on sale 10/$10, but I haven’t found it. I’m in Savannah and I’ve been to the CVS in Port Wentworth, Bluffton, SC and Garden City and no luck.

      • Dean’na Smiley

If you are looking for canned pumpkin for only a dollar, I found it at my local Dollar Tree in NC. Maybe you can find it in SC.

        • Jenny

Thanks Dean’na. I’m trying to stock up for the holidays. Pumpkin pie is my husband’s favorite and the cans at Publix are typically $1.99/each. Yikes!

          • Anonymous

Jenny, are you anywhere near a farmer’s market? Mine has the sugar pumpkins (what canned pumpkins are made from) for $.69 each. Cut them in half and bake for 30 minutes and you have the equivalent of four cans!

            • Guest

how do you know if a pumpkin is a sugar pumpkin?  I would prefer to do this, but I don’t know how to tell.  Thanks.

            • Anonymous

They were labelled that way. Look for the orange ones that are close in size to a honeydew melon. Try asking for baking pumpkins if you’re not sure.

    • Aprilpaige0812

I purchased 2 trial size aveeno lotions and my CVS store gave me $7 ECB for it.  I think they costs $1.49 each.  Plus I bought 8 CG Eyeshadows that were $3.49 each and used the $8/2 cpn….which made me 2.76 on each set…or 1.38 each eyeshadow. So I bought 2 gain and 1 tide detergent and used the $2/1 cpn and overage from eyeshadow.  I also got more items but can’t remember exactly what it was….the total before coupons was $54 and I paid $6.83 and they handed me a $10 gift card.  I wish it would turn out like that all the time!!!!

      • toni

I tried the trial sizes and the ECB didn’t print out? Did it happen automatically or did you ask the manager?

        • Brenda

I just called customer service and they are going to put the 7 ecb’s on my card. She said they have been having trouble with this promotion but she couldn’t have been nicer!

        • Aprilpaige0812

I had to get the cashier to do it manually.  She was already aware that it wasn’t working automatically and said that the ad was misleading so they were overriding them and giving the ECB’s.  But the ad clearly stated that you could use a size as small as .8 ounces and the trial size were exactly 1 oz bottles.

        • Couponjulie201

I got 2 of the 2.5 oz size (smallest tube on the regular shelf). Only the full size Aveenos were tagged for ECBs but the $7 printed out automatically for these. They were $3.49 each.

      • Brenda

I tried the aveeno trial size also and no ecb’s even though the ad states starting at 0.5 oz. Did they manually have to put in your 7 ecb’s or did it do it automatically?

      • Anonymous

Just to clarify. $8 CG coupons were for face products, I think. Eyeshadows-or eye products would not be considered “face products” for cosmetics purposes. Just saying, not pulling trigger on anyone.

    • Elisabeth

Can you do more than one gift card promotion in a week?

      • Chele17rene

        Up to 5 per card.

    • Kmadonna

Working on submitting my $10 Rebated to P&G for Breast Care Awareness. Form instructs to fill in 12 digit UPC code. Some of the Cover Girl Products I purchased only have 8 digits. Called the help line: they told me to count back from the end and put the 8 numbers in – guaranteed me it would be accepted…I HATE getting back rebate forms with errors in them.  Hope this helps someone. Wait time for call to be answered was sizable.

    • Emily Amberson

Kicking myself! I went to CVS yesterday and bought 4 bottles of Tide (had 3 coupons for $2 off and one for $3 off) and a couple of bags of candy. Used my $10 gift card that I got last week and only paid $9.01. Totally forgot to use the $4 off $20 purchase that I received in my email last week!

Is there an easy way to get that taken off if I go back in with it and do a return or should I just consider this a lesson learned?

      • coupons4kids

Was your $4 off $20 a facial product?  Mine was $4 of $20 on facial purchases so you wouldn’t have been able to use it anyways.  If it was $4 in general then you can always save i and use it later!

        • Emily Amberson

No it was just $4 off any purchase of $20. The bad part is that it expires today!

I’m thinking about going and trying to get the Covergirl deal. But if that doesn’t work, the CVS folks in my area are super nice (at least the folks that work at night are), so I’ll give it a try! Thanks Cyndi.

      • Cyndi

        Hi Emily,
If you have nice cashiers, just go back with your receipt and the coupon and tell them that you forgot to give it to them.  The CVS I go to in Knoxville has very nice cashiers and they never give me a hard time about it when I forget (which usually happens when I have my kids with me!!)

      • Gmcouponer

I asked that very question to my CVS cashier. She said that if you bring in your receipt and your coupon so they could see it. They will scan the bar code and put the amount onto a gift card for you to use later…

    • C_hakes

Some people are saying they are getting a gift card with the Olay regenerist deal.  That does not show in my ad flyer.  Are you really getting it for that?

      • Anonymous

It’s on the back page of my flyer.

      • Jessica Dunn

Yes. I went today and did this. The Olay Regenerist specfically does not show in the ad (I checked), but if you check the shelves some of the Regenerist products are marked $20.99 and have the “gift card participating item” tags. (Yellow tags with a green gift card. So my deal went like this (since I didn’t have the covergirl coupons for the deal idea Jenny posted):

2 Olay Renegerist products for $20.99 each.
        $10/2 Olay coupon
$5/20 in Facial Care CVS coupon

So my total was $42 – $15 in coupons = $27. Because I purchased at least $30 in Olay products I qualify for the $10 mail in rebate (listed above in Jenny’s post) which takes my toal down to $17. Factor in the $10 gift card (Applebee’s) for spending $30 in participating product and I got $42 worth of Olay for my mom for $7!! :D

      • Amber, NC

Yes, but only the ones that cost $20.99. The more expensive ones printing $5 ecbs do not count toward the $30 for the gift card.

        • Jonna_brinkley

I bought one for 24.99 and for 20.99 and I got the gift card and 5 ecb. I also got the 2 free lip perfection that are buy one get one 50%.

          • Jonna_brinkley

My bad the lip perfection covered the $30.00

    • thriftycrafter

ok so I got 6 items on Covergirl and the way it rung up I was .76 shy of getting the gift card. (ouch)  But on the plus side I only paid oop $1.42  for 2 blushes, two powders, a concealer and a foundation. The cashier said I could come back anytime this week to add to the total.  Is this right.  Or do I need to go back and return and add something to it.

      • coupons4kids

You can buy something anytime this week. Just do it by Sat! :)

      • You have to something in the GC deal. buy one of the 2/6.00 items and use a q if you have one

      • Anonymous

Buy something for 2/$6-I think something is out there, and then use $2.50/2 CG prod. Q. another $3.50 spending will yield $10 GC.

    • Melissa

I just got back from CVS and the magic coupon machine printed a $2.00 off any orbit multipack.  I thought I would check these out and found that they are on sale 2/$4.00 so I scored a free multipack of gum!

    • Tiya

I bought Lumene toner, Lumene peat mask, 2 Lumene face cream, Listerine, Crest complete, Soothe drops, 3 Covergirl bronzers, 3 Covergirl blushes, 2 Covergirl eyeshadows, Olay regenerist kit, 2 Covergirl lips all for $6.64 including tax (all paid with giftcard). This was done in 3 transactions and I have $3 ECBs and $14 giftcard balance. I will submit for $10 PG rebate and will get $10 of beauty club ECBs. Great week!

    • Did awesome today at CVS.  Got 16 Eye Shadows, 2 eye liners, 2 Tide’s, 1 Charmin, Lilly Coffee, 2 Pantene Shampo, 3 Greeting Cards, 2 Therma Care Patches, 1 Mouth Wash.  I spent $10.99 saved $126.69.  I have $5 ECB left and got 2 $10 AMEX Gift Cards!  So they paid me $14.00 to take it all home!

      • Katie

Why would you get 16 eye shadows…. that means you didn’t leave much for anyone else. Please do not complain about shelf clearers because you seem to be one….

        • Sandra

You need to purchase that many eye shadows to do the “gift card” deal with cover girl.  Great deal!!  I used 10 $8/2 item coupons Sunday!!!

        • I actually didn’t clear one shelf.  I called around to all my local CVS to see who had the must.  The one CVS that I went to had over a 100 in stock.  I would be care full to call some out if you do not know for sure.  I am never a shelf clearer.  I take my time to call to make sure they have plenty in stock.

      • Sandra

You go girl!!   We did the Covergirl deal this Sunday…wow what a money maker!!

    • Jessica Dunn

As far as I know it does not have to be in the same transaction. I purchased 2 Olay Regenerist products and since my total before coupons was $40 something my receipt shows an $18 something cret towards my next GC for this week. :D

    • Natalie559

My scenario for the $10 gc deal:

      buy 2 olay regenerist @ 20.99 = 41.98
      buy 2 gain detergent @ 5.94 = 11.88
      buy 1 covergirl lip  7.99 = 7.99

      total for all= 61.85
      – $10 olay coupon 9/25 RP
      – $5 cvs red machine coupon for facial care
      – 2 $2 gain coupons from 9/11SS
      – $7.50 covergirl free coupon from 10/30PG
      = 35.35
      get back 2 $10gc= 15.35 – submit for $10 mail in rebate = 5.35 for all and
you should get $5 ecb back for the spend $50 beauty club!

      • Would the b1g1 from the 10/30 insert also work on the olay regenerist?

        • Natalie559

The coupon stated buy one smooth finish hair remover or pro x, regenerist, total effect facial moisturizer get lip perfection free- so yes it works with the regenerist, that’s where the $7.50 deduction came from (max value of coupon)

      • Anonymous

Yes, but $10 Olay Regen. Q was on 2 (and already expired). But you deducted it twice from your total. Therefore, the balance would be after Qs $45.35 (not 35.35).

Thus, it would be $15.35 for all after Qs, GC and then one possible $5 beauty club hit, makes everything for $10.35 final OOP-Not free but still a great deal if anyone needs those products.

        • Natalie559

I didn’t deduct the $10 coupon twice (and yes it was for $10 off 2 products and it is exp now); the total was 61.85-10-5-4-7.5= 35.35; now I did deduct 2 $10 gc to get the 15.35 figure as the transaction earned me 2 gc

          • Anonymous

            Yes, but
61.85-10-5-4-7.5= is 45.35 NOT 35.35… maybe I am reading it wrong

    • Natalie559

The card deal was in my ad, I purchased 3 $0.99 cards and received my $3ecb!  Great for birthdays!

    • Amber, NC

The employees at my local CVS refused to accept my “B1 Olay, G1 Covergirl” coupons when the computer said the item was not found. I had to call customer service for the first time ever. I felt bad because now they are going to hate me for getting them in trouble; but I went back anyway. (It’s not at all far from where I live, fortunately.) I thought after getting a call from the corporate office they would be at least a little more helpful. Not at all. The store’s manager argued that the coupon requires a purchase of a “facial moisturizer” and the Olay Regenerist I wanted was an “anti-aging” product. (All Olay Regenerist moisturizers say anti-aging on the box. That’s what they’re for. So I had him go to the facial aisle and look at the products. I pointed out all of the ones included on the coupon and asked him which ones he thought it was referring to. His response? “We must not sell it here.” (AAAAh!!!) He finally gave up, which is good, since I’m not about to when I’m certain I’m right; so I finally got my moisturizers.

      • Jessica Dunn

If you look at the back of the Olay Regenerist products they have different colored bubbles. One of the bubbles is MOISTURIZERS. May want to point that out to him next time you are in there. Also some of the products say Moisturizers on the front near the bottom. HTH

        • Katie

Mine beeped also but my cashier overrode it. I suggest trying a female cashier because they seem to know more about these products and the fact that they are indeed moisturizers.

      • Anonymous

That coupon wouldn’t scan for me either. The manager couldn’t figure out why and wouldn’t override. I’ll be calling 1-800 tomorrow when trick or treaters aren’t knocking at the door!

        • nata

I went to the 2 stores today and I couldn’t use the coupons too. I had 2 moisturizers and 2 lips perfections. One coupon scan for $7.50 and another one for $0.28 and cashier refused to adjust coupon saying that it exceeded the total amount,  i cant use 2 the same coupons in one transaction ( even  thought  it says limit 4 looks like per  trip)

      • Mcleodsc

Are you sure the computer said item not found? that coupon beeps for the cashier to input the price of the free item.

      • Tristansmommy120910

I did this deal the other day. Bought a $21 olay get lipstick free. But i also added a eyeshadow to get my total over $30 for the giftcard. My issue they had was the computer kept trying to take off the price of the eye shadow which was wayyyyy cheaper then the lipstick. And the computer was having a issue using my $5/20 face product along with my $5/30 coupon so i canceled the whole tranaction and went to another cvs and didnt have any issues.

    • Judycrawford

      thank you

    • I found a great way to use the $5/20 facial purchase. Nuance products are buy $20 get $10 EB. I found some facial washes for $8 something and $12 something. The total would be about $21. Use the $5/20 and the $2 coupon from the reinventing beauty magazine. OOP: $14. Get back: $10EB. If you have more than 1 magazine your total would be about $12. I’m too young to need the great Olay deals. :)

      • Ginger

Thanks I did the Nuance today because of your post.  Thanks a bunch

    • Jgutierrez

ok so I am getting ready to start couponing at cvs any advise? what happen if i buy 3 of the same products getting ebc will 3 rewards would print or just one? help help

      • Becky P.

You have to look at the limits on how many items to buy to get the ECB.  Like the Olay body wash is “limit 1”  That means you only buy one and get the ECB.

    • shelly

You dont have to have filler items at Cvs.

      • hle28

You dont have to have filler items at Cvs.

        • I think she meant “filler” because that’s what she used to “fill” up her $30 so she could use the $5/30 in that transaction (I didn’t add but I think that’s what she meant). The razor was $8.99, $5 coupon and $4EB so she needed something extra so she could use both. HTH

This is how we do it!!!!   Awesome

      • Melnartcoupons

how did you get the $4 ECB for the listerine? I did the same but it would not print the ECB. I could not find it in the ad so they wouldn’t do a manual adjust for me. How did you get yours and where is it in the ad?

        • Anonymous

In my ad, it’s on page 12.  There’s a picture of a Reach floss & a Reach toothbrush, but the wording says “Listerine or Reach Zero, Advanced, Total Care 500ml, Reach brush 1-3 pk. or floss 30 yds.”  (It’s in the middle of the page, between the Crest & Sonicare.) HTH

    • Mcleodsc

back from cvs-bought 6 Lumene -buy one get one 75% off. Cashier insisted that I did not have $20. to use the $5/20 cvs cpn so I got one more priced at 3.99. Well I got home and used a calculator to add up the items-I had almost 24. before adding on the last product. I am debating whether to return the last one. The coupon still beeped and she said it was not for  my card. BUT I ONLY HAVE ONE CARD. Apparently the red machine left off the last number of my card. I pointed this out to her and she entered it manually.  So beware -the red machine may leave off your last card number!!

      • used to manage cvs

the coupon machine always does that.  The cashier should know this.  Does not
make a difference in how it rings, sounds like you had a bad cashier.

        • Mcleodsc

AGREE- I did go return the one item. Cashier claimed she could not refund the full amount-had to get the manager. Then she wanted to give me a gift card when I used my debit card to pay for it. The MANAGER gave me back CASH.

      • Tristansmommy120910

Mine beeped at me also. The cashier called over the manager and she said it beeped bc i tried to use the $5/20 face coupon along with the $5/30 coupon that was in my account and the manager said those are both considered the same coupon???!!! I canceled my whole transaction drove right down the street to the other cvs and had no issues.

    • Mcgee2699

Can someone tell me if there is a rebate on P&G along with Oil of olay. I know about the $30.00 o of olay and get 10 back. Thought I read about another one also. Thanks!

      • Laura

There was a $10 rebate off $50 that ended 10/31 that included olay + other P&G products.

According to olay. com there are only 2 active right now, the $10 back wyb $30 and a $15 rebate wyb one Olay Acne Protocol box set by 11/14. The set runs about $40-45.

            • Jgutierrez

you can tell I am new at this lol thanks!

        • Cheryl

Some of them did not exclude trial size. I live in central Florida and my Aveeno q’s did not have a size limit at all.

      • Anonymous

Did the $7 ECB automatically print or did you have to have the cashier print it for you after the transaction?  TIA

      • Lrihtok

How the $3/2 said no trail or 2.5 oz size can be used? Happy that you got a good deal but I guess your coupon read different then mine.?

I would really like to know where to get the P & G Pink Rebate Form, as well. I have purchased all my stuff by and before 10/31, but now the form seems to have disappeared from the site. I have spent a fair amount of time surfing the web to try and find it, thru several links. It is gone. What do we do now to get one? Can anyone help, please? Thanks, would appreciate it.

it is still available on iheartpublix . com I just looked it up on google, clicked on the link and it brought it right up as a pdf file.

      • Mt Cabingirl

I think they took it down since the offer was over on the 31st.  I have one if you would like me to send it to you.  email me at mt.cabingirl@yahoo.com.

The CVS list says we should get $2 ECB back for Listerine but I don’t see that anywhere in the paper or online ads. The ECB would not print and they wont do an override if its not in the add. Is the Listerine a mistake for ECB?

      • Couponjulie201

At my CVS the tags said $1 ECB for the Listerine or OralB products… And that’s what I got.

      • Anonymous

It was on page 12 in my ad–has a picture of Oral B floss & toothbrush but lists Listerine in the wording underneath.

        • Melnartcoupons

          Found it!!  Thanks!!

    • Couponjulie201

No big haul but I was happy:

      Oral B Toothbrush – $2.99
      Aveeno Daily Lotion 2.5 oz – $3.49 (2)
      Illy Cafe Drink – $2.49

      $2 off OralB or Scope
      $3/2 Aveeno
      FREE Illy (CVS)
      $4 ECB

Paid $2.22 OOP / Got back $8ECB! Woohoo! I was going to try to snag the travel size Aveenos (only found 1) but…. I don’t know, I had a weird moment of couponer conscience, LOL. But I still think I did ok, and the $7 ECB printed for the 2.5 oz Aveenos automatically even though they were not tagged in the sale on the shelf.

      • Anonymous

Did Aveeno $3/2 NOT exclude 2.5 oz.?

        • Lrihtok

no :( its says it at bottom of coupon. I wished it was..

    • confused couponer

      Hi Everyone,

I am a little frustrated here.  I try to be ethical and do couponing right.  But, there are two things I keep seeing.  First, people are using like 10 to 20 coupons that they get from these clipping services.  So, they get these deals where they can grab 20 of on item.  I was told that was illegal to buy coupons.

Then, I go into a CVS and they tell me I can use the 25 coupon off a sonicare toothbrush which is the Essence which would make it a 15 dollar toothbrush.  I didn’t do it because it looked different from the photo.  But, it is like other people “pretend” not to care or read the fine print.  What is the deal people?

      • Mt Cabingirl

It is not illegal to buy coupons from a clipping service since you are paying for the time and service–not the coupon itself.  I am not sure about the CVS deal though since I am not sure what toothbrush or coupon you are speaking of.  Really though, you have to do what you feel is best for you since you have no control what others do.  Hope this helps.

      • Czalinsky

The photo has nothing to do with it… If the Q says ANY then u can use it on any Sonicare.. i’ve never seen people buy 20 of the same item at CVS.. Sorry ur frustrated but it does get better….

      • Mcleodsc

Please do not assume that every couponer buys from clipping services. I find them expensive and have only ordered twice from them. Alot of people just buy multiple newspapers to get enough inserts. I also trade for 10 to 20 coupons at a time with other couponers. I get the ones I need and give them the coupons they are looking for. As for buying multiples of the same items, for the gift card deal that is going on now you will need to purchase multiple items to get to $30. for the gift card PLUS there is a limit of 5 gift cards. Anyone that is trying to get one or more gift cards will have a cart full of products. I am not sure of what toothbrush or coupon you are talking about. I do know that you cannot go by the picture on the coupon-you need to read the wording carefully.

    • Mt Cabingirl

Does anyone know where to get rebate form for the $10 when you buy $30 Olay products?  I have the one for the $10/$50 but did not know about the other one.  Any help out there?

      • coupons4kids

Jenny has a link to it in this ad.  It is towards the end.  :)

    • Mcgee2699

If the P&G ended 10/31, is there still time to maik in? If so can anyone give me an address to see if I can still get arebate form. I haVE THE MERCHANDISE, BUT NO FORM. THANKS!!

      • Mt Cabingirl

Yes since it has to postmarked by 11/30.  Not sure about the rebate form address, I have one and will make a copy for you if you email me at mt.cabingirl@yahoo.com and give me the address.

        • Mcgee2699

I sen the info. Thanks Mcgee

    • Vickystaggs

HELP!!!!  Does anyone have an extra P&G rebate form for the $10/$50 they can spare?  Printer was out of ink and when I finally got a new ink cartridge, the link was gone.  I would be truly grateful.  Thanks.

    • Michelle

I have been trying to get the PG pink rebate form like everyone else and cannot get it to work.  Can someone email the form to me please?  I would be ever so grateful!!  :-)  My email is mandmplatt@sbcglobal.net.  Thanks again!

    • Lrihtok

I went to cvs in Jasper,AL. Thier Aveeno buy 2 moist lotions or creams (0.5 to 18 oz) Get $7 extra buck.. Welll they are misleading. Its is only on a few selected items. Not any lotions not any creams between those oz listed on the ad.. Is anyone upset bout this? And what could we do? cvs post this on ad to get us in.. Sad I know. Did anyone have good luck w this?

      • Jenny

Hello Lrhtok, I had the same thing happend and I called CVS yesterday 1-888-607-4287.  The asked for information off the receipt and they said I will have the 7 ECB by Thursday:)  They were having problems with the system:)

      • Anonymous

Did you purchase 2 items to try it out?  Sometimes the stores just don’t have all of the tags up.

        • Lrihtok

This was Monday afternoon so they shouldve been up by then? I explained to them that there were only to girls there that are helpful. But the ads were not ringing up in the computers. She looked back at my order and said yes that ((I and the sale ad)) was right and it shouldve rang up right. Due to I did refund the products she couldnt give it to me for the ad sale. Which is fine bc I just want Jasper store to do the same as all cvs stores w a smile on their face. And it is the individual store problem due to its someone job to register the sales into the computers and hang the tagged sign ads by the products. So I feel great that customers are one step closer to being able to receive correct sales and have no hassel time at cvs :)

      • Heidi Gonzalez

i bought 2 of the travel size aveenos and even though it was stated on the price label below the product, i still got the $7 extrabucks print out =) i used my extrabucks along w a $1 off coupon to buy a pack of luvs diapers so in the end i paid $1.99 for 2 lotions and a pack of diapers =) i’m a happy camper lol

        • Lrihtok

          @Jasper?

    • Tiya

Has anyone else noticed that each time they get a gift card, your amount spent for the season has went down? They have taken away $30 of my spending since I have gotten 3 gift cards this week. I am going to call customer service because I look forward to my ECBs for spending. Just wondered if it was just me. I did do a return and expected that but not $30+ of returns only $9.

    • Jgutierrez

how does it work is it limit one per day? per week? per card? how can i get more of one free deal again and again?

      • Mt Cabingirl

It depends on what you are talking about.  If the product on sale states limit one then you are only allowed to purchase one on your CVS card of that particular product.  Gift cards are limit 5 per sales period.  To get the best deal you combine sales, coupons and promotions.  Hope this helps.

      • coupons4kids

If you are referring to the limit listed on the CVS ad they are referring to that ad cycle, which is a week.  If you see a good deal in the ad, or one in which you get ecb and it says limit 1, that means you can only get that price once. ECB won’t print on a 2nd purchase.

    • Stephanie

I guess the listerine deal is regional :( Our sales paper doesn’t have it listed and I tried to just go to the store and a big NOPE. Who doesn’t love free listerine?? :(

    • Anonymous

Halloween Candy is at 50% off at my CVS.

    • Heidi Gonzalez

*** the Aveeno Deal is even better than stated above … if you buy the travel size of Aveeno ($1.49 each) you can make $4 off of the deal!!

      • Wpatterns

It states on  the coupon that it is not on the travel size!

        • Anonymous

          It’s a $4 money maker without using any coupons.  Buy 2 @ $1.49 each, get $7 ECBs wyb 2 Aveeno 0.5-18oz.

          • Heidi Gonzalez

yupp which ends up being a better deal than buyin the bigger sizes and using a coupon =)

            • Debhof821

Yep this worked for me too!!

        • I have $1/1 and $3/2 Qs and none of mine say that and I did use them and they went through fine 8) very happy camper here!!!

        • Anonymous

Wanted to point out the $3/2 coupon that just expired states not valid on trial. But the new $3/2 coupon does not specify a size nor does it say not valid on travel. So your good to go with the 1 oz bottle for $1.49 x 2 minus $3 = free plus get back $7 ecb.

          • couponking

Where is the new $3/2 Q?  I have the 9/11 SS one that expired 10/31.

            • Anonymous

Check your 10/30 smart source. Mine had the $3/2 and $1/1 expires 12/31/11 (my ss cover has a sherwin Williams on the front, baby blue color) HTH.

            • couponking

              Found it.  Thanks!

            • Anonymous

My 10/30 Aveeno for $3 off 2 has a trial size restriction next to the barcode.  This may be a regional difference, just an FYI.

    • coupons4kids

Just a head up on the $10 P&G rebate off Venus, etc. It is a joke! I called and spoke with them today before mailing mine off. CVS, Walgreens, Kroger, Target and Walmart are ALL NOT included! I was in shock! Why did they advertise it like it was a big deal? AND they didn’t even state anything about only certain stores being included. I think its a joke! That is nuts.

      • That’s odd. When I called to make sure Rite Aid was participating the lady told me that there is no list of participating stores. She said just as long as you have a receipt with the items circled any store is fine.

      • Anonymous

I sent mine off a while ago and had a CVS receipt and already got my gift card.  I don’t know who you talked to but I don’t think that you will have a problem.

      • Natalie559

Maybe they or you confused this rebate with the cook wear one- as the cook wear one was only valid at a few participating stores and ended at the same time as the venus/cg/olay one. . .

    • Guest

No free illy at my CVS-they substituted Starbucks! Yeah!

    • Jgutierrez

does CVS give ECB at the end of the month for all your purchases? how this works? can i combine sale, coupons, gift cards with this?

      • Anonymous

The ecb prints out at the end of tour receipt. Yes you can use coupons on sale items. If their is a sale where you get a gift card that also prints out at the end of your receipt. You simply will hand them the part of the reciept that says $10 gift card they then scan it in and give you the gift card. (sp in essence the gift card itself is its own transaction) sounds a bit confusing. but once you do it you’ll understand.

    • Anonymous

Has anyone else’s cvs put up a sign by the trial size aveno saying it isn’t part of the $7 ecb? Went to one cvs they were out. Went to another they had tons but had the sign hanging (which is probably why the had so many) I pointed out to a manager it met the size requirements. So he allowed me to try it out and sure enough it worked. He pointed out that it may not have worked previously and someone may have complained and that’s why the sign was put up (and that most ecb deals exclude trial sizes) which this did not. Just curious if anyone else has ran into this?

      • Asmith

no sign up but they only had one in the bin. I think they took them out so that people don’t buy and get ECB.

    • Guest

Just to let you all who are seraching for p&G rebate form – I got the rebate form by calling CS of P&G Olay REBATE number availabloe on the other rebate forms.

Just wanted to let you all know that there is also a $1/1 on the carmex healing cream that is part of the buy $30 get the $10 gift card. It was in the red plum for 10/30.

    • Tiya

For some reason, I received another $5/20 facial care and all the good coupons have expired and I have used all my Lumene qs. Anyone have a good scenario for this with the newer coupons. I was thinking Aveeno lotion and Razors but would those be considered facial skincare?

If you still have a B1OlayG1CoverGirl left from 10/30 P&G you can do the gift card deal.  Olay $20.99+ Cover Girl Lip Perfection $7.99 = 28.98 (if you already have some overage from prior gift card deals, you won’t have to buy anymore, otherwise buy the cheapest thing from the gift card list to get you to $30)
        $28.98 – $5/$20 facial care – $7.99 lip perfection – $10 Gift Card = $5.99 + filler cost.
Also, you now have 20.99 towards the $10/30 Olay Rebate and $28.98 towards your $5/$50 Beauty Club Reward.  Not bad if you like Olay. HTH.
