      • Yuliyaporter

and  the  following week is no better!  What am going  to do  with  all of the Eb I got for Beauty Club this week???  But  the  Black Fri add is AWESOME!!!!!!!! I need  to go back to CVS  tom and turn all of  my Eb into CVS cards to get ready for BF

        • Sassydivabran

u can turn extra bucks into a cvs card?

          • Yuliyaporter

well, i can buy more paper towels with my EB and coupons and get a CVS card :)) or AmEx card to use in Publix :) Just don’t want to be stuck with all of my $30.00 EB  from Beauty Club I got this week and let them expire… or buy smth I don’t really need

            • coupons4kids

Check with your CVS.  My CVS takes expired CVS coupons and ecb and no matter how old. Now I know not all are that way but it is worth checking.  I found one well over a yr old and the cashier said “no problem.”  She said she has seen one 3 yrs old!

            • Yuliyaporter

              I will. Thanks!

            • Tina

How do you get $30 from beauty club?  That is awesome!

            • Yuliyaporter

I just bought a LOT of Lumine face products and Olay products with all of the high value coupons available before 10/31 I also had a bunch of CVS coupons from red machine for Lumine and $5/20 face ,  so… got a lot of  free lipsticks, skin care, etc.  Paid close to nothing  and got $30.00  in EB  from Beauty Club.

            • Flaminmom

You know, I bought a lot too with those coupons and I only got $10.  Coupons don’t affect the beauty bucks, right?

        • AndreaJGrossman

Where do you go to see the upcoming CVS ads?

          • iheartcvs dot com

    • Mcleodsc

The Pure Protein bar buy 1 get 1 50% off caught my eye. If I have the B1G1 coupon, can I use it on this deal?  I need a math whiz to figure out the price I would pay. I think the bars are 1.89 each. So the 1st one is 1.89 and the second one.95-then the coupon would apply. Can someone figure this out for me?

      • Mt Cabingirl

I don’t think it will make any difference since you have to buy the first one anyways.  If you use the coupon…  pay 1.89 for the first one, get the second one free.  May be someone else knows better but I am pretty sure you will pay full retail for that first bar.

      • Anonymous

Yes you can use the coupon. Normally the free one would be the 50%off one but at my cvs it depends on the cashier. Sometimes they take off the max value of the coupon sometimes the normal price. But the correct way would be get the cheaper one free.

      • Mcleodsc

Jenny-I am confused at the math. Can you help?

      • Anonymous

I’m pretty sure they will take off for the lowest price one, since technically you probably have to buy one full price to get one free. So it would be 1.89 for two instead of 1.

    • Ja()P

Looks like I won’t be shopping there this week. Nothing good to me =(

      • Nicka E

same here…even though I say that often and still find myself in CVS LOL!

    • Cryount

Plus there is a 50¢/1 coupon for the protein bars..

    • Nikki

Can you explain how you got the gift card for transaction #4? I’m only getting $10.48 before coupons

      • Honeapath

The Youth Code product at $19.99 in transaction 3 qualifies toward the Gift Card. So you only have to add $10.00 more in transaction 4 to put you over the $30 threshold for the Gift Card.

        • Misscalia

so the $30 purchase doesn’t have to all be in 1 transaction to get the $10 giftcard?

          • Jessica Dunn

Nope. Can be multiple transactions and get up to a max of 5 gift cards in a week.

          • coupons4kids

Not only does it not have to be in one transaction but it doesn’t have to be in the same day!  You have all week!  Check on your last receipt and see if you are close to one this week before it ends on Sat!

          • Lisa

No, it just has to be $30 or more within the promotion week.  The bottom of your receipt will tell you how much you need to get the promotion.

    • Brenda

I don’t think the coupon in Nov’s All You magazine will be accepted because they are for a 12 pkg or a 24 pkg of cottonelle toilet paper specifically-not an 18 pkg that is listed for the sale.

    • racecitymom

2 Things~I did not get any Softsoap q`s last week & how can it be National Peanut Butter month & there are NO peanut butter coupons out?????

      • Angelascoupons1

And PB prices are high because of the poor crops…

        • coupons4kids

Peter Pan is on sale at Kroger if you have one. And there is a savingstar coupon for it. Its a good deal!!!

          • Anonymous

Wow! My Kroger was still pretty stocked. I plan to get more so I have plenty for the upcoming holiday season. I use a lot.

      • Anonymous

and no peanut butter on shevles either this week kroger in v a has orderd 3times this week    has none in warehouse and cvs  cant get any i think they have a plan for later

    • Surfergirl8989

How does the coupon for the free Lysol Dual Action Wipes work I thought it was a reabte form? Also the ad doesnt say anything about these wipes only regular Lysol wipes???

    • Jklyles1

I still have a $6 off 2 Schick disposable razors..can I combine this with the B1G1?? Would be an awesome deal!!!!

      • Alana262

I still have some of those coupons too!  I couldn’t find the razors in Walmart so I just held onto them.  Don’t we use one $6/2 and one B1G1 on two packs?  I think thats basically what she did in the scenario.

        • Yuliyaporter

I don’t think you can use both of them  on two razors though if they are both MQs. You can use B1G1 and a $ off one, but not two. Hope that makes sense :))

        • Brooke

I have these to but I think you’d have to buy 3 to use both coupons although i’d ask your store to know for sure! My plan is to buy 3 packs anyways because I don’t need any other stuff.. buy 3.. pay about 24.00.. get 1 free making it 16, then subtract the 6/2 so its free for 3 packs of razors!

          • Betty

Could I use two B1G1 and the $6/2 and get 4 packs for 9.98 and the$10ecb?

            • ericswifeowensmom

              yes.

            • ericswifeowensmom

oh, whoops, I was looking at Betty’s statement about the 4  PACKS for 9.98. That’s who I was saying “yes” to.

      • Anonymous

I’m thinking you would have to buy three to use both coupons because with two although the bogo may only attach to the second item, the $6/2 attaches to both the first and the second item and you can’t use two manufacture’s coupons on the same item.

    • Jessica Dunn

Ok so I get that Jenny’s Scenario idea is great cause it incorporates several different deals (ECBs, Beauty Club, Rebates, and the GC promotion. But if all you wanted to do was the GC promo couldn’t you just purchased 2 of the Youth Code products priced at $19.99?

    • Kelly Thomas1

Where can you see the Black Friday ad?

      • Mcleodsc

I tried to post a link but it needs approval so I will tell you how to get to the ad.
        go to weusecouponsdotcom.

        • Anonymous

I just checked it out at iheartcvs (dot) com and it has tons of free stuff!!

    • coupon_crazy07

Quick question: for the arm & hammer detergent deal, it says limit 1, but the coupon that can be used for it states $1/2. Does that mean that I will only get the ECB back for one of the detergents since I would have to buy 2 to use the coupon?

      • Chele17rene

        YES

    • Anonymous

The Schick deal may not work with a BOGO Q and the $2 Q. The registers have been reprogrammed and beeps at every little thing. In the past, you could hand over a $, then the BOGO to make it work, but not anymore. Just FYI.

      • Anonymous

Yep, I had that very thing happen on the last Schick Playtex deal they did at CVS.  They ended up having a re-ring my whole order because they had already rung in the $ off and couldn’t remove it so I could use the B1G1 coupon instead.

    • fyi to anyone interested in the scrubbling bubbles 16oz, the coupon stated above for .50cents off in september all you mag. expired on 10/22 so you cant use that but just a heads up, if you ended up getting the “no touch scubbling bubbles toilet bowl cleaner” at walmart a few weeks ago, there was actually a coupon book inside the 2 I bought, and its for buy one get one free! So that would be a great deal with this.

      • Jonna_brinkley

Is it the automatice toliet cleaner that is on sale.

      • Spoony4u09

oh crackers that’s for the heads up gonna go pull them bad boys now =0)

        • Spoony4u09

i meant thanks for the heads up lol sorry.

    • Spraymom

I wish cvs hadn’t limited the Peanut butter deal to 1……:(

      • Anonymous

You’ll be glad when there’s still a few jars left on the shelf for you!
I have found lots of peanut butter deals at grocery stores. Keep your eyes peeled and stock up as they come along. :)

    • Tina

      arm & hammer price is wrong  it would be like this…. u buy 2 @ $2.99 for 5.98 -1off 2 cupon, … u pay $5 oop and 1ecb make its like u pay $4 for 2 or $2each…..

      • Staci_marie

I noticed that also.  I think when Jenny came up with the $1.49 each, she forgot the $1 ECB is only good on 1.

    • Stephanie

I don’t use Glade.  But have the coupons.  Be willing to trade for Horizon Milk, Silk Soymilk, All laundry detergent, Sprout baby food (Yellow ad flyer at Publix this week and printable available), diapers and wipes, tampax and playtex.  Please email me at stephhydo@gmail.com if interested.

in v a these deals are going on this week dont know why like jelly and peanut butter 3 for 5.00 but no e b this week they are out now and truck will run again on tuesday call before you waste your gas . the stock is out by 12.00 on tuesday  if it comes in

    • Keldansmom

Hey Jenny, back on 10/24 you posted a link for coupons for Smuckers and Jif on Walmarts website.  The Smuckers was 0.50/1 and the Jif was 0.55/1.  I don’t know if they are still available to print, but anyone that printed them at that time should check their coupons to get a little better deal :)

    • happy couponer

great week at CVS. got the men some stocking stuffers, dawn stocked for the next couple of months, and even got make up for myself out of the deal.

    • Anonymous

Walmart has a .55 off Edge 7 oz or larger on its site (page 3).  Can’t print off this computer but they are usually a manufacturer’s coupon.

      • 1bigsaver

        Yep… It’s a MQ

        • DianaY19

Is this gone…I don’t see it and looked at every coupon.

    • erikareavis

In order to get the $10 gift card do you have to spend $30 before or after coupons?

      • 1bigsaver

        Before

      • lindsay t

        before coupons :)

    • Poojary

is there any CVS in Greenville which accepts expired ECB?

    • Poojary

is there any CVS in Greenville which accepts expired ECB?

      • Jacketfan24

I have used one before that was only a couple of days expired at the one in Greer on Wade Hampton/Main Street.  Also at the one on Pelham Road in front of Walmart.

      • Maggie

I left 9$ in ECB in an old wallet I was no longer using found them one year later…called the 800# and explained. She said she could reissue 5$ at the little red box machine day after I called. They are not autherized to allow any more than that. And they will only do it one time.

    • Karenpen21

can you buy cvs gift cards with ECB

      • Anonymous

Don’t think so. There’s a list of things you can’t buy printed on the ECBs — alcohol, stamps, gift cards, etc. The roundabout way is to take advantage of the $10 gift card offers. If you have enough coupons to offset the $30 purchase, you’re golden!

      • jhoran

No.  Says so on the ebc receipt. If you need cvs gift cards, just convert the 10.00 you get back from the gift card deals to a cvs card.

    • Lindsay

For the Gift Card Promotion, can I use more than one B1G1 Pure Protein Bar coupon? I didn’t know because they are already listed as B1G1 50% off… Thanks!

      • Anonymous

Yes you can.  I have done it before and they take the full price off with the coupon.

    • Clfranklin2010

Just a typo.  It’s ECB, not RR.

    • Ginger

I have a question I hope someone knows the answer to! I was planning to go to CVS today and buy some Jif using a raincheck I have from a while back– makes the peanut butter $1.66. If I were to wait and use the raincheck on Sunday, do you think I could get the peanut butter for the raincheck price, and still get back the 3$ECB? It would make it almost free, which would be awesome, but I don’t want to cheat and don’t know if it would work.

      • Spoony4u09

yes they will do that! and you will get the ecb’s as well i did it with the wisk deal a few weeks ago when i had a b1g1 rain check.

        • Ginger

          Thank you!

    • Amanda

This was a good Ad but I cant wait for the Black Friday Sale.  So many freebies.  EXCITED!!!

      • Wallis

where did you see the black friday deals??

        • Amanda

          I heart CVS .com

    • guest

There’s a .75/1 All detergent on facebook if you like them.

    • Stephaniecelie

I have 8 Kashi $2 off recyclebank coupons. Could I use all eight in one transaction? (I would also buy 2 all detergents for a total of $31.98 before coupons and $13.98 after coupons and would get a $10.00 gift card) I am nervous about trying to use all 8 Kashi coupons in one transaction. What do you think?

      • Anonymous

I don’t see a problem with it. Biggest issue is usually finding 8 boxes in one store.

        • Yuliyaporter

          So true :)

      • Cinderella

You don’t have to buy them all in one transaction.  You will see the totals on the bottom of your receipt and it will tell you how much you still need to spend to get the gift card.  I’m getting ready to head out to CVS to spend another $8.01 to earn my second gc this week. :)

      • Michelle

I just got back from CVS where I used my 8 coupons all at once and it worked beautifully.  It’s not like Wags where you have to do everything in small transactions.  Your card keeps track of your spending, so whether you do it all at once or over a couple of days, it still works.  Don’t be afraid…it will work just fine,  HTH!

    • Adodson68

I’m still new @ this can you use another store coupon like target and pg at the same time. on transaction,

      • Adodson68

I did watch the video still trying to understand this been doing this for one month. need all the help I can get. thanks

      • Ginger

You can’t use another store’s store coupon. You could not use a Target coupon with a manufacturer Q at CVS, but you can use a CVS store Q with a manufacturer Q.  (Note: sometimes a manufacturer Q that you printed off a store site LOOKS like a store coupon because it has the store’s name/logo on it, but it isn’t actually a store Q. (Like you might print a coupon that says “to be used at Walmart” and think it’s a store coupon, but it is actually a manufacturer Q. You can tell this by looking at the UPC type number on the coupon– if it starts with a 9 or a 5, it’s really a manufacturer Q.)

      • Nutzboutqs

My CVS won’t take a coupon from another store even when it’s a man. Q.  If your target add matches you can use both.  No rewards of course.

        • Ginger

Wow, that’s lousy. I get that at Wags sometimes, but never at my awesome CVS. Sorry. :(

    • Wethedeans

Can anyone tell me…do razor purchases count toward beauty club ECBs?

      • amy

        nope

        • Wethedeans

          Darn. Thanks.
          BTW, do soft-soap hand soaps?

        I didn’t get them either   :(

        Anyone willing to trade? ;)
        lalawhat@comcast.net

    • abby

Under “Scenario Ideas” I’m confused on Trans # 4.  It’s supposed to be spend $30 get $10 GC.  This Trans is only $10.48 Total.  Did you spend the extra $19.52 in another transaction towards this deal?  Looks like all the scenerios already give you ECBs.  I’m interested in doing this.  Thanks!

      • Ginger

I havent gone over all the deals yet myself, so I’m not sure what’s included in the B30G10, but these deals are cumulative, so Jenny probably spent the other 20 bucks in previous transactions.

      • Lisa

The Loreal Youth Code for $19.99 in Transaction# 3 is on the gift card promotion too.  :)

        • abby

Now I see it.  Thanks so much for replying.  :)

    • Ksmith1477

My softsoap coupons were for 8oz. and larger. The sale is on 7.5oz. :(

      • Wethedeans

I bought the 7.5oz soft-soap and used the 75cents off coupon just fine. I didn’t realize that it wasn’t appropriate until after I got home. (I still have a few coupons left).

        • Anonymous

are you willing to trade what you have left i didn’t even get one and i have a family of 6

          lalawhat@comcast.net

          • Wethedeans

Gosh I would but I’m waiting for their restock on Tuesday. Making gift baskets for Xmas. 24cents is a steal

      • Mcleodsc

Look at all the softsoaps. There are 8 oz ones included in this sale.

    • Mcleodsc

back from cvs. I found out last Sun that the sales are activated on sat at 4pm. There were only a few boxes of Kashi Cereal and they looked kinda mashed  and 4 boxes of TLC bars of which I purchased 2, so there was not enough Kashi items to buy enough for the gift card, so I searched out (and I do mean searched ) the Maybelline baby lips product. Found it on a cardboard backer above the olay items. I bought 10 of them. Picked up one toilet paper and 3 greeting  cards. I got 9 soft soaps which was half of what they had. I wanted more but did not want to clear the shelf. I also got 2 peanut buttters(she had to make the ecbs print for them). Ended up with a Shell gas card and only need $20 more for the next gift card.

      • Mmader2

I go to my CVS on Sat. after 4.  Even if they have not updated the registers, they still give me the sales price and print the EBC’s.  Nothing like dealing with Walgreens-almost always a problem.

    • Tater4677

Do all of the stores activate their sales on Saturday afternoon?? That would be awesome!!

      • Mmader2

Not sure.  Just ask your local CVS

THE COUPON SAYS IT’S REDEEMABLE ONLY AT WALMART. CAN WE STILL USE EVEN THOUGH IT IS A MFQ?

      • Tnjcent

My CVS will take any other store’s MFQ as long as it says “Manufacturer Coupon” on it and the bar code # begins with a “5”.

      • Tnjcent

My CVS will take any other store’s MFQ as long as it says “Manufacturer Coupon” on it and the bar code # begins with a “5”.

      • Katie

No if it says REDEEMABLE ONLY at Walmart then it can only be used at wal-mart; if it had said redeemable at wal-mart and was a man. Q then yes it can be used else where.

    • Becky

Does anyone know how much the entertainment coupon savings book cost?

      • Tcollins0227

I think they are around $35. That is the price marked on back of the book.

    • DianaY19

Cant find the edge shave gel coupon. Anyone gotten it recently?  I’ve looked under multiple zips on the couponsdotcom site

      • Robin Lacey

        It wasn’t an internet printable

    • DianaY19

I didn’t get a ss in my 10/30 paper.  I get the charlotte observer…anyone else have this problem?

      • Katie

You should get it… Raleigh, news and observer got it and the coupons for these two papers are handled by the same comapny

    • Alexiaigonzalez

if my CVS closes at 12 PM , what time does their sunday ad prices start?

      • Elaine

My CVS opens 24 hours. I’ve been in the store around 11pm on Saturday night several times, and both this week and next week sales prices are effective. But not the gift card promotion. Just back from CVS and was trying to get the gift card with combining 2 weeks gc promotion, and it didn’t work.

      • Anonymous

It really varies from store to store. I would ask the cashier or manager.

    • Ashly

I cannot find the $1/2 Arm & Hamner coupon in my SS paper on 10/16…anyone else have this problem?? :(

      • Ashlyn

I am also not finding the $2/2 SoftSoap Liquid Handsoap coupon in SS 10/30

        • Elaine

          I don’t have that too.

        • Spokenwomyn1

It is in P&G exp 11/30

    • Madisonanita

This may be a stupid question…but I have alot of orange copy paper left from a project. Can I print out my coupons on colored paper?

      • Nicole

I’ve done that before when I ran out of white paper, but they didn’t scan well.

      • Lisa

Yes! I once ran out of copy paper and used notebook paper and it was fine at Publix and the drugstores.

      • That’s funny you should ask that, I have been printing mine on Pink paper that I have and NEVER had a problom… Until recently of coarse at Walmart. She 3rd degreed me. A million Questions Where did I get them from, Are they copies.. so on and so on. Then says.. Well I’ve never seen pink Qs before… DUHHH it’s just pink paper, LMAO!!! I told her ummm The paper is pink not the Q… She jusy said oh , not nice either… LOL!!!  So yes it’s perfectly fine

      • Katie

I would print some and make sure your stores take them… They should but Nicole is right. they don’t always scan well and if you are shopping at stores that won’t take IPs if they don’t scan… that could be a problem

    • Madd2391

I’m new to this. Do u have to use all the ecb tht u get back in one transactiion? Or do they roll over and save for a future shopping trip if u don’t ise them all? Also if it says limit one? Does tht mean per transaction?

      • Anonymous

You do not have to use all your ECBs at one time. You can spread them out however you want as long as you use them before they expire. In terms of ECBs if it says limit 1 it is per card.

    • anu

I didn’t get the B1G1 Schick disposable razor, max $13.99, excl 2 ct, SS 11/06…. willing to trade.

      • Layson

        I didn’t get it either :(

        • Ashlyn

I didn’t either…nor do I have the soft soap coupon OR Arm & Hammer coupon from SS on 10/16…maybe SS ads are different in different areas??

          • Kalbertson622

I did not get either the B1G1 or the softsoap coupe either.

            • anu

What newspaper do you guys get?

            • Layson

I get Opelika-Auburn News and Birmingham News

            • pam pam

Beware of Buying the Birmingham News if you are not in Metro Bham… from a distributor I have learned that the farther away from Bham you get the less the coupons can be put in the paper because of the advertisers… I live only 45 – 50 miles out of Bham and we get NO coupons in the papers here and they will not deliver to our homes either…

          • Anonymous

I didn’t get any of those either. They are definitely different depending on where you live.

            • Tyrese

No, they are different because Shick doesn’t like you.

    • Ms. Susan here from the West Columbia S.C. Walgreens on Augusta Road. Just want to let couponers know that if you would like to recieve Special Deals by email that you wont see any where elese, there is a box at my register to put your email address in. I can do this for anyone interested if you send me your email address to ssnracine@yahoo.com   and you will recieve a coupon for $5.00 off a $25.00 in store purchase via-email just for signing up. I would be glad to do this for anyone interested.

    • Christina

I’m new to this and curious as to what the “limit 1” means on the jif/smuckers deal.

      • Katie

You can only get one set of ECBs to print. (you can still get the sale price, just no ecbs will print.)

    • Kk_21

      • Kati3878

I thought that you couldn’t use the B1G1 and the $off/2 because that would be considered 2 coupons for 1 item. I went this morning and used the B1G1 and a $2 off 1, but I would have loved to have used my $6 off Q as well Oh well, live and learn. :)

        • anu

Do you have another bogo coupon for the razors?

        • Katie

          You are right. :/

        • Kk_21

my cvs accepts b1g1 and $ off coupons.. I hv done many transactions and never had any problems…

          • Kati3878

That’s good. :) I’ll have to remember that for next time

        • Anonymous

You are actually right. The $6/2 does attach to both and with the bogo it is using two Q’s on one item. Computer probably did not catch it.

        • Anonymous

The cashier probably didn’t catch it or overrode it.  to be able to use a $/2 and a BOGO, you have to buy 3 products.

      • anu

Do you have another bogo coupon? Would be willing to trade.

        • Tyrese

I’ll swap you two balls of belly button lint for them.  Interested?

      • Llopez1984

Are you allowed to use a $ off item q with a BOGO q if they are both mnf’s?????

      • Mel

you did not use  the coupons the correct way. If it was 6 of 1 then it would be correct for th free item

    • Mstarfish

Arm and Hammer Cat Litter (28 lb) box has a peelie with $1 off many A & H products, including the laundry detergent on sale above. So, it works out to 99 cents after all is said and done.

      • Tyrese

That’s so awesome, I just peed myself!!!

    • mamaraley

Just FYI I saw at costco yesterday (wilmington, NC) that they have the GE Energy smart light bulbs on sale for .99 until Dec 31 ;)

      • mamaraley

oops forgot to say its a 4PK for .99 ;)

        • CouponKing

If you are a Duke Energy customer, they will send you a package of 12 CFL bulbs for FREE.  You can submit the application on their website.

          • Tyrese

And if you’re not a Duke Energy customer, they’ll come a sever off your head with a machete. Bummer :(

    • Teecee

I had trouble with coupons at CVS for the first time last week. Can someone tell me if it was my mistake or theirs? I bought an Olay cream. I had a $2 coupons off that cream and another coupon for a free lipstick for buying an Olay moisturizer. I was told I could not use both. As I understand it, the $2 was on the cream and the other coupon was on the lipstick so they should have both counted. Is that correct?

      • Tristansmommy120910

Yes they should have taken both. I did this last week right when the coupon came out for the free lipstick and used the $10/2 olay coupon (before it expired). Bought 2 olay and the lipstick and a blush to get me to the $30 mark for the gift card last week. (also used the $5/20 face product cvs coupon) Paid around $4 for 4 items. Id go back and try it again :)

      • Anonymous

No, you should not have been able to use both.  The one for the free lipstick is considered a coupon on the moisturizer and the lipstick.  Basically, any product that is mentioned on a coupon is part of that coupon deal, and you cannot use a second coupon on that product.

      • Anonymous

It depends on the store.  You won’t get a straight answer on this one because all stores used to accept both in your scenario.  However, the registers now beep when you try to use both because the BOGO coupon attaches to both items.  Some cashiers will override it and take both (the ones that have been there a long time and do it like they’ve always done) but many will not override it.  I tried with the Schick deal today to try to use a $1/1 peelie + a BOGO and the register beeped, even with using the $1/1 coupon first.

      • bumblesmommy

i understand that! you should have gotten the free lippie.. i am almost scared to use these types of coupons! some cashiers dont seem to be able to read and comprehend them =)   and i hate standing there repeating myself 10x for them to look at me like i am an alien.

    • I just came from CVS. I used the B1G1 coupon for the Schick razors. The razors were $7.99 each but the coupon took $13.99 off instead of $7.99. It was a nice surprise but I don’t think she did it correctly. Is that normal?

      • Phonebookqueen

From my experience it depends on the cashier as to what they take off. Some do the sale price and some do the max on the coupon

    • Blackvelvet49

Thanks to Jenny for doing all she does!! I got 2 papers today and both had that B1G1 free schick coupons.  Because of this site I was able to get 2 packs and 2 shave creams for free at CVS, and then used my other B1G1 free coupon at Walgreens on their Schick deal and only paid $2 oop.  Over 40 disposible razors and 2 shave creams for $2.00 is AWESOME. And perfect timing just as I was getting low on razors too! :-)

      • Tyrese

I noticed your legs we’re getting a little bushy, but I just didn’t want to say anything and hurt your feelings…

    • lizbeth5612

I did not receive my SS insert today. Did anyone else have this problem?

      • Aria

I didn’t get my red plum Dallas area

        • Tyrese

The result of a government conspiracy, no doubt.

        • Glorame1367

Go to the Ft Worth area – they’re teh red plum capital of america

      • Shelly

No, but I did have an awful case of erectile dysfunction this morning.  Bummer :(

      • Tyrese

No, but I did have a problem with anal spasms – talk about a way to ruin a perfectly good day.

        • Raynerae

I think you need to stop… your not funny and very inappropriate.. have your fun somewhere else.. this a place we come to save money not mock others…

    • Kbjb95

FYI for my South Florida couponers..the Schick b1g1 coupon was not in the SS in Sun Sentinel papers..found it in Miami Herald…I checked 10 Sun Sentinels just to be sure and none were in there. Also, the SS in Miami Herald had more coupons in it that the SS in Sun Sentinel did…

      • Vanphi20

Thanks! I get the Miami Herald.

        • Shelly

And we’re supposed to care about that, why?

      • KK

I didn’t get one in the Florida Today newspaper. Out of Melbroune,fl

      • Ginger

I checked my smart source several times and your right we didn’t get that coupon here in central florida, or least I didn’t

    • MSrina

I wanted to share my Playtex deal. At my CVS, in Miss, the 18ct sport tampons are $5.29. I purchased 4 and used two $4 off 2 (it was an ip coupon from last month).
      $21.16 – $8 = $13.16 got $10 ecbs. not free but I’m happy with less than $1 a box!

      • Allforthe4leggers

Did the very same deal in GA :)

      • quim

I combined this with a 5 off 25, so ended up with 4 boxes of free tampons!  Thanks so much for sharing your deal — I had forgotten about those $4 off 2 coupons until you posted here.  Thanks so much for the help!

    • Josamky63

I just got back from CVS and transaction number 4 didn’t work out right.  HELP!!  I didn’t receive the GC, cause the total only came to $11 and some change before coupons.

      • Coupongal18

It must be a mistype on the transaction because it wouldn’t work to get the Gift Card the way it is typed up….you would have to pick up a few of the detergent or Kashi or mix and match – just go and get a few more and you will get there!!!!

        • Josamky63

I thought so to.  My nice and friendly cashier was like is there anything I can help you with.  I so no.  I think the math was done wrong she said ok.  If I figured out the problem to come back and she would help me.

          • Anonymous

I do not think her transaction is wrong. She purchased the Loreal Youth Code for $19.99 in transaction 3. This was one of the qualifying items for the gift card promotion.  That total plus the total of qualifying items in transaction 4 equals to over $30. If you did not purchase the Loreal Youth Code then you would not have reached the $30 threshold and would not have received the gift card.  Hope that helps :)

      • Anonymous

Did you also do transaction 3? I believe trans 3 was the first part that qualified. You had to do it and 4 to add up to enough for gift card.

    • Jodi Mcdan

i’ve almost given up on CVS more than once because it seems they are always out of product when i get there. a strange thing though. i went at 2am in the morning…2 hours after this weeks sale started. i needed to buy 4 scubbing bubbles…they had only 4. i needed 2 schick disposable razors and that’s all there was. i always thought shoppers were just beating me to the shelves but i asked when i got to the register if customers had already wiped them out in the 2 hours of the ad starting or what? her reply was their truck comines “tonight.” i didn’t think to ask tonight (last night) or sunday night. either way, seems crazy that they don’t begin their ad with product on the shelves? what’s the deal?

      • Jodi Mcdan

btw, i’m in newnan, ga. this is the CVS on east 34 and sullivan road.

        • Tyrese

And the world is a much better place for knowing that information.  Thanks for sharing.

      • tiffanie

i think every CVS gets their truck on different days. my CVS gets theirs on Tuesday. go figure.

        • bumblesmommy

mine gets their truck on tuesdays also..  i usually get rainchecks and wait – i am not willing to run out to the store several times per week. I love cvs and the employees at mine are amazing.. but i feel like cvs should always stock so much more for their sales though!  i mean, i get a raincheck for at least 1 thing every week..  and i live in a huge couponing area..  they have got to know there is a huge demand for certain things!

      • Debbiesc

Most CVS’s, at least the ones around me, they actually start the sales on Saturday at 6 pm.  If the sign is changed on the product then it will ring up the new add price.  They hold both adds going.  I was not certain, I had only been told this by 1 cashier cause she knew I couponed and she said they don’t advertise it, but most people who coupon know.  Anyway, I double checked, took an item to the little red kiosk to price check and sure enough.  As long as the sign has been changed on the item, it should be good by 6 pm.  They have to honor the sign!   I go at 5:30 or so, start getting my stuff, take my time and sometimes follow the associates til I see them change the sign for the new sale.  i heart cvs (google it) will allow you to look at the ad before it comes out.  Several days before.  They do it for Rite Aid and Walgreens too. Hope this will help…

    • Linda

This has been a strange coupon insert week for me.  Usually I can make my shopping list from Jenny’s list… click, clip and go, but this week… nothing matches, I don’t have the coupon the list references in my paper (NONE of them).  First time this has ever happened and it’s not making me happy!  Ugh!

    • Ampis1st

The CVS deal with Smucker’s is even better if you happen to have two $1.00 coupons, which I did. The 2/$5.00 then minus $3.00 ECB minus the two $1.00 coupons…..both are free!

      • Awesome deal! Where did you find $1 coupons?

      i need softsoap coupons!

      Anyone willing to trade? ;)

        • court

          that’s my hometown!

      • Couponing_Rocks!

I had no problem…my ad said 5.5 – 8.5 oz were on sale & my coupon was for 8.0 oz or larger, so I just got the larger ounce ones.

        • Roshonda

Awesome decision – you should be a rocket scientist

      • Anonymous

I would not use the coupon if the size available in your store doesn’t match the coupon. That is coupon fraud and your store may not get reimbursed.  The ad DOES state for sizes 5.5 oz to 8.5 oz. The coupons (put out by Softsoap) states for sizes 8 oz+ so the correct size is out there, it just may not be available in your store. I haven’t been to my store yet, but I sure hope they have the right size. It’s an awesome deal!

      • Ginger

I did as I didn’t even think about the size and I had no problems.  I just assumed it was for the size that was advertized so yes the coupon worked at my cvs

      • jhoran

They do match. The ones for the coupon are also on sale for .99. The shea buttter is 8.5 oz.

Please please please, I need a UPC. I bough a ton of CoverGirl products for the rebate, but when I got home I took one of the concealers out of the box (not thinking) and threw it away.  The UPC’s are the same for identical items and shades. If you have a CG Smoothers concealer in Light, please let me know if you can provide the UPC on the box. I have the receipts with the purchased items circled, so I am definitely not cheating.  Thanks!!!

      • Anonymous

I gave way a few items and forgot to write down the UPCs. Amazon dot com normally lists the UPCs for every product. Good luck!

Thanks so much for the info! I will check that out.

Wow, you’re right! Thanks so much. Now I can get my rebate in the mail!

        • Karenpen21

Would you please tell me where you go on the site to get the list. I did the same thing for an olay product, thank you.

          • Anonymous

Start by googling key words. That should get you an Amazon result. If it’s not the same item, you should be a click or two away within similar items. HTH!

            • Karenpen21

              found it , thanks

      • jhoran

All you need to do is go back to the store and get the upc#. I run into this problem everytime because I give the stuff away and then realize I need the codes for the rebates.

I am in shock. I just checked my Extra Care account online and I have 2 $5 ECB’s available to print. I don’t know why or how I got them, but I am one happy girl!

How do you get the CVS Reinventing Beauty magazine?

      • Phonebookqueen

I called corporate and asked for it because my Cvs does not get them. They sent me the mag and the coupons. Hope this helps

        • Anonymous

My cvs kept them on a end cap next to the red box machine. Illy me I bought 2 books not knowing you can only use 1 coupon per card :(

      • Anonymous

It’s “supposed” to be in the store but most people never seem to be able to find one, myself included. I searched several stores with no luck before finally calling customer service. They did mail me one.

      • MadeULaugh

You go to the middle of the store, lie down in the fetal position and scream, “I want my CVS Reinventing Beauty magazine!”  That’ll get their attention.

      • Mcleodsc

Hasn’t been one in my store in over a year. I still have my red machine coupon(expired) for a free one.

      • bumblesmommy

yes how?!  i guess i will call the corportate number and ask why i cant ever find a (new) issue in my cvs..

    • guest

I’m not sure if anyone caught this yet, but the Crest w/Scope Toothpaste that is on sale his week with ECB is NOT included on the $2 off Crest with Scope Qs. I almost bought it until I noticed that.

    • MarySC

I just bought a $10 CVS gift card for $5 from savemore dot com…this was posted about 10 days ago and I thought I was too late.  Anyway, I got a $10 sign-up credit and then sent a referral (don’t use the first link they give you, but use the “my referral link” under your name in the top right corner of the page) and got another $10 credit…  My niece bought another deal and also got a $10 credit.  So for the cost of $10 we have gotten $20 in CVS gift cards plus $30 to use later on the site.  Pretty decent!! I’m sure there will be things we can buy for the holidays.

The CVS deal expires early Wednesday morning (3AM) eastern time.

      • Yuliyaporter

i, I also bought  that deal and actually already used the GC  yesterday. I have  a  q about the credit though…  I got the $10.00  awhile ago, how  do you use it?  it doesn’t’  give  me  the  option to use it when I go to pay  for  my  deal, only  asks  for  Credit  crd info. Thanks

        • Mcleodsc

I have a $4 credit in my account but cannot figure out how to use it. Anyone know how to use the credit amount?

          • Yuliyaporter

I will  just  call  their 1-800  number  soon and  ask!

    • Dcobb23

So…if anyone can help I would really appreciate it!!!  At the top of this page, there is a deal where you can get Jif for $1 using a Smucker’s Jam, Jelly, Preserves, or Fruit Spread product. Jif isn’t mentioned anywhere on this coupon…will this work or is this a typo?
      Thanks!!!

      • Beth

The deal is first showing the cost if you buy the jam/jelly using the coupon.  And then it shows that JIFF is $1 when you buy 2 with no coupon but factor in the $3 in ECB from the deal.

      • Swieczorek03

She means if you buy 2 Jiff for $3.50 each you will pay $5 and get $3 ECBs back.  That essentially makes each jar of Jiff $1.  There isn’t a coupon for the Jiff itself.

        • Swieczorek03

Sorry each would be $2.50 each not $3.50.

    • Anonymous

New CVS in Dalton said that they had issued 150 rain checks last week (?) on Jiff and it would take them a year to fulfill those.  That the other CVS’s in the area had the same issue since corporate hadn’t realized about expected increase in prices.

Did anyone else encounter the same?

      • Guest

no, but I wondered why folks weren’t scooping up Jif at $1.67 ea last week at my store.  That’s a pretty good price for the times we are living in.  Prices are only going to go higher.

        • Anonymous

Aaaaaaaah……That explains the 150 rain checks from last week!  If I had realized last week’s price, I would have tried to get some then since I had 4 $1/1 printable coupons and I would probably be one of those people that had the rain checks LOL.  Oh well, maybe somebody else will have a sale before my q’s expire.  Thanks, at least I understand better now!

          • Klynn

Get a rain check for this week. If the $1/1 is Jiff they will be free after ECB.  And where can I find Jiff $1/1Q?

            • Anonymous

They wouldn’t give me a rain check b/c they’d already issued 150 rain checks from last weeks sale.

            • ericswifeowensmom

is there a rule or limit to how many rainchecks can go out of one cvs store per item?

            • Anonymous

I have no clue, this was my first trip to CVS.  Sorry.  You might want to post that as a general question.

            • IslandGirl

I would like to know where to get the Jif $1/1Q too!!!!!

    • Shannonboutin

Went to CVS today…got a coupon from the coupon kiosk for 1 free greeting card with purchase of 3 cards.  I bought 3 cards for .99 each…got my free .99 card and got $3 ECB.  so i basically got all 4 greeting cards fro FREE!!!!

    • MustangLadyred

The following coupons were not in the Lynchburg New and Advance newspaper:
35/1 Smucker’s jam, jelly, preserves or fruit spread, RP 11/06

      • Wethedeans

Mustangladyred, I see you posting about coupons not in the lynchburg paper all the time. I am fortunate to live in Bedford, where I have the choice of Lynchburg or Roanoke papers and I always choose the roanoke paper because the coupons are always there. Do you have an outlet to buy Roanoke paper instead?

    • Guest

I’m new to couponing… Will someone explain this to me please?

$3 ECB WYB (2) Jif Peanut Butter or Smucker’s Preserves or Fruit Spread, 18-20 oz, $2.50 each Limit 1

If the Limit is one item, how am I able to get the ECB? 2 transactions… or is it saying 1 of each item ( i.e  (1) PB and (1) jam)  #confused

      • Couponing_Rocks!

Limit one – means you can only get the ECB’s once…so you would buy two products & get your 3.00 ECB’s.  You could buy more peanut butter & jam at the 2 for 5.00 price, but you won’t get the ECB’s for the 2nd transaction.  HTH

    • guest1

I have coupons for the soft soap but the picture on the coupon is not as the same on the ad, it is soft soap also,  can I still use it ?

      • Shannonboutin

yes i got 7.5 oz even though says 8 oz or larger

        • Anonymous

If the coupon specified 8 oz. or larger, it should not be used for a 7.5 oz product.

      • Anonymous

The picture on the coupon doesn’t really matter, it’s the wording of the coupon that’s important.  The wording specifies the proper use of the coupon–the picture is just part of marketing/advertising by the manufacturer.  If the coupon wording specifies a particular size (for example, “8 oz. or larger”), then it should not be used for non-matching sizes of that product.

    • Mkk389

did anybody get the $6 coupon for osteo bi-flex? If you would like to trade for baby coupons, let me know. I have a couple of $3 off huggies that expire 12/31, also anything from the PG inserts. My email is mkk389@gmail.com. Thanks!!!

      • Stacyb4275

just emailed you, I have 2

    • Kristy

On the softsoap…I know it has to be the 8 or 8.5oz bottles for the coupon and the ad to work together…I went to my cvs and they didn’t have anything bigger than the 7.5oz. Can I pricematch at walmart…even though you have to have the cvs card to get the sale price?

      • You should be able to!

      • Keri

I had picked up the 7.5 oz bottles, 16 of them! Realized it when I got to the checkout and the cashier said it really shouldn’t be a problem and she was right, coupon scanned through just fine

        • Anonymous

If the coupon specified 8 oz or larger, it should not have been used for the 7.5 oz even if it did scan.  Based on the info above, it sounds like two people (knowingly) committed coupon fraud…16 times.  Let’s all PLEASE abide by the rules; an honest mistake is one thing, but blatant misuse will result in even fewer & less valuable coupons in the future.  I am so thankful that Jenny teaches & promotes honest couponing practices…we should all follow her lead.  Thank you, Jenny!!!

        • bumblesmommy

wow, 16?  at cvs? thats like the entire shelf at my store. I dont mean to judge, but that seems like a lot for 1 trip.

          • Walker

I agree.  It’s shoppers like Keri that give couponing a bad name.  I’m guessing she must be really dirty to need 16 bottles of SoftSoap (not to mention the fact that she used the coupon on the wrong size bottle)

    • Javamama

This may have already been posted earlier, but in the Birmingham News CVS ad, the 3 ECB is for 3 American Greetings cards and there is a new printable manufacturer’s Q at the American Greetings web site good through 11/28/11 for $1 off on any 3-card purchase (cards must be over 99 cents).  If the red box gives you $1 off 3 and you stack the $1 manufacturer’s Q AND get 3 ECB, that’s a sweet deal!

    • Rhonda

I just realized that the cashier did not print my ECBs for my 2 raincheck items.  Anyone know if I can do anything about this?

      • Anonymous

The only thing I can suggest is to call or go back to the store. They should have your rainchecks in a file somewhere.

      • bumblesmommy

i had to call the customer service number (corporate) and i spoke to a really nice lady and told her what i bought and how i did not recieve my ecbs.. she made it where it would print from the coupon machine next time i scanned my card- it worked!  =)

    • Eamccune

Anyone know where I can find vitamin water coupons?  Or anyone willing to trade.  I have several scrubbing bubble coupons that I can trade or if you have a specific request I can check to see what I have.

      • pcarmi

I just got some vitamin water coupons from a Kroger home mailer.  I LOVE that stuff!

      • Llopez1984

I had gotten my mnf q’s $2/10 from a tear pad @ Publix about 2 wks ago, sorry don’t have them anymore I let my sister use them.

    • Krnprn

? I’m new to this and wondered what you thought of the deal at CVS for the Entertainment Coupon Savings book (price?) which comes with $10 gift card? Do people still use the Entertainment books?

      • Carterstowing22

I would really like to know the answer to this question myself.

        • Guest

I have not found that I get my money’s worth out of the Entertainment books in the past.  I live in NE metro ATL and most of the coupons are for establishments that are too far away. Also, the books will go on deep discount in the first few months of 2012, so it really depends on whether or not you will use the coupons that are in there and if you can wait a few months to buy one.

    • Ginger

Irish spring deodoratn is b1g1 for $3.79.  There is a $1.00 mfg coupon from the reinveting beauty magazine and I had a $1.50 off cvs coupon that printed at the machine last week making them $1.29 for two.

    • guest

I don’t get the transaction # 4 how do you get a $10 GC when the total before coupons is $10.48

      • pcarmi

The rest of her qualifying products are in Transaction #3. HTH

      FREEBIE ALERT

Buy 3 Hallmark ( American Greeting  cards at some CVS locations) @ .99 cents and get a $ 3 ECB back.  Wooo Woo

      • Carterstowing22

I tried to do this and was told the cards could not be $.99 cards.  They had to be more expensive.  Did anyone else experience this?

        • jwpretzel

          Got 3  cards @ .99 and received $3 EB

          • Guest

same here – I worked this deal all through the holiday season last year at the different drug stores as they offered it and scored tons of free Thank You cards for the kids to use after Christmas – yay!

        • Anonymous

I did mine with .99 cards with no problem.  There is a coupon out there for $1 off 3 AG cards that excludes the .99 ones, so maybe that is what they were referring to?

    • Cookie

Arm & Hammer laundry detergent was on sale in Marion, SC for $2.99

Has anyone tried to get the glade plugins that are supposed to be on sale according to the ad? I went to two stores and neither one had any glade plugins on sale and I even asked an associate but they just said I dont know??? Any help??

      • Onethriftydiva

Did you try scanning it on the red machine?

        • Amanda

Yes there was one but it was cracked and it scanned at regular price?

    • Cayacoup

Um the first link (thepurebar dot com/offers/buy-one-get-one-free for printable Protein Bar coupon i actually for Pure Bar…a whole ‘nother product.Or did I miss somthing?

    • Llopez1984

It’s not posted on the match ups, but at my CVS I was able to use the Schick B1G1 on the Hydro 3, and the worker told me that you could also use it on the Hydro 5

    • Llopez1984

QUESTION: When shopping at CVS, do you add the price b4 q’s or after q’s to get a qualifying purchase such as the $10 GC on a $30 purchase??? I know I can do this at Publix, but CVS confuses me.

      • Anonymous

At CVS it is before coupons. On most deals, you can be a few cents short (for instance, if you have to spend $10 get a ECB, you will get it at $9.98), but I’m not sure if that is the case with the gift card promotion.

    • Llopez1984

FYI I found a q in 1 of my inserts (dont remember which 1)  $1/2 Any 2 Dynamo, Ajax, Fab, or Niagara PRODUCTS! It has pictures of Laundry Detergent bottles, but since the wording is not specific, Im sure you can use the q on the 89 cents Ajax Dish Soap!

    • Malissa

I just called CVS in Richmond Hill, Ga. to see if the Softsoap came in on the truck last night. It seems someone came in almost near closing and took ALL the SOFTSOAPS that were on the truck!!! Number one WHY?? Number 2 why do you need all this soap and number three and most important you are giving couponers a BAD NAME! Soon they will limit allllll products because of people like you!

      • Travis

Amen to that Malissa.  Some stores have already begun to start limiting quantities or limit the number of similar coupons that a person can use, thanks to the gluttony of folks like the one you mention.

    • Dcsnyder

where did everyone find the coupon for b1g1 on the schick razors??? i looked in the SS paper that she listed, but cant find it anywhere! I have this problem alot…not being able to find the coupons she lists beside the sale. Help please:)

      • Jennifer

It must have been a regional q…I did not get it either in SC :(

    • Savingisfun

It depends upon which paper you get and the region.  I live in Huntsville, AL, and get the Huntsville Times.  Our SS didn’t have the B1G1F, but had $2 off coupons.  The AJC seems to have the best coupons for sure.

    • Onethriftydiva

Magic coupon machine spit out 4 coups for me today: $5 off $20 fragrance purchase (again), $3 off Maybelline mascara (again), and the best two, $2 off a Johnson & Johnson baby product (many of them were on sale for $2.99!), and $2 off 2 Glade products making the Glade deal even sweeter with my coups!

Question: Tried to use a Catalina for the J&J product to make it free. It did state “Redeem at Harris Teeter” but also clearly stated that it is a manu coup. CVS wouldn’t take it b/c it said Redeem at HT on it. What is the rule for Catalinas?

      • Lisa

did anyone ever give you a response about cvs and catalina coupons?   i’m getting ready to try mine at my store, but wanted to see what the policy should be. thanks.

        • Onethriftydiva

          Nope.

          • Lisa

they would not take mine, since it said “redeem at…”.

      • Anonymous

I generally treat catalinas as store coupons even though they have manufactuer written at the top. I guess if they scan, they would work though.

    • Cm

in order to get 10 gift card, do you have to do it all in one transaction, just wondering incase they are out of some things so that I can finish my transaction when they restock.

      • melatc

No, you can space it out over multiple transactions.

        • Cm

          thanks

    • MomOf4

Huggie Jumbo Pakcs are 2/$20.  I got 2 packs of slip ons, 3 Hallmark cards, and 2 Smuckers.  Total: $28.  Used $5/$25, 2 $3 Q for Huggies and $1/2 smuckers.  Handed over 6 ECBs.  Total OOP: $10 plus tax, got 6 ECB back and I’ve earned my free pack of diapers.  Not a bad trip at all!

      • MomOf4

Forgot the $2 off Saving star for the Huggies, so the deal is even sweeter.  3 packs of diapers for $8!

        • TED8365

i need diapers but dont know exactly how your are doing this.
          thanks
          johnna

          • Seagull

looks like she started with a $5 of of $25 coupon and $6 she already had in ECBs. That’s why she got such a great deal on her OOP amount. (out of pocket). The Huggies for 2/$20 with two $3 off coupons would make diapers (with nothing else bought) $7 a pack, which is the most I ever plan to spend on name brand diapers. So unless you have a $4/$20 or something like that, I think they’re still too expensive.

    • guest

I am staying @zip 78230, have been couponing for few months and gathered much stuff. now i am moving out from here and i want to get rid of this stuff and some coupons too. if anyone staying around this location can come and pick up stuff and coupons. if intrested plz ping me at pelli(dot)apa@gmail.com for details and questions. thank you.

      • Onethriftydiva

        Can you donate it?

    • Kristen

My CVS would not let me use the B1G1 schick and the $2 off schick. They said I was not allowed to use two coupons on the same product. I don’t see this in their policy. Can someone explain?

      • NewMommy2

Yes you can. I do it all the time. You are using the B1G1 to get the 2nd razor free, and the $2.00 coupon for the 1st razor you are actually paying for!!!

        • Kristen

That is what I thought but this guy swore it was against policy.  I didn’t feel like fighting him because there was a line.  I told him I had done it before and he said that cashier was wrong.  I hate that!  I guess I am out $2! :(

          • guest

He was right! Its the new Cvs coupon polcy that you can’t use two q’s. If you try to do it the computer won’t let them scan it.even on a b1g1 sale we are not allowed to use 2two q’s anymore

      • Anonymous

The manager at my store said the policy was changing in the future (about a month ago) so it may be true.

    • jennaj81

yesterday the manager at my local CVS (who is also a couponer, BTW) told me that if we use coupons with another store’s logo on it, that that store will get the credit instead of CVS. I was using one with a Kroger logo. It had “manufacturer’s coupon” at the top, but she said that didn’t matter. She also said that if we would clip the logo off, then the company wouldn’t know and CVS would get the credit. Anyone heard of this? I’m sure it’s true, but now I feel bad about all the coupons I’ve used in the past that had “redeem at Wal-Mart” and such. I want the stores I shop at to get credit for the coupons I use there.

      • Jessica

It’s not true.  A manufacturer’s q is a manu q, regardless of what store logo prints out.  That’s just advertising, making newbies (or those that aren’t aware) believe they have to use that q at that store.  The store where you buy the product will get reimbursed for the use of the coupon by the company on the coupon that’s selling whatever you bought.  That manager has been misinformed…

    • Tiya

Just wanted to let people know that while this gift card promotion has been going on, CVS has been taking that amount from my spending so it would reduce the amount of ECBs you get when the promotion is over. I called customer service and they gave me back $40 for each promotional gift card I received. So check your spending if you have been getting the gift cards it could be the difference between $1 ECB and no ECBs. Every little bit helps!

    • Natalie559

Great deal for me on the $10 GC- here’s my plan:

6 kashi cereals, on sale for $3
1 all detergent, on sale for $3.99
      6 protein bars, on sale b1g1 50% off, so $2.19 then $1.09

      total = $31.83

use 6 $2 recyclebank kashi coupons (RB allowed me order 3 coupons yest and I got to print twice)
use 1 $1 off all detergent 10/2 RP
use 3 b1g1 protein bars 10/2 RP, took $1.69 off x 3 (max value of coupon)

= $13.76 – $10 gc = $3.76 for everything plus tax- *great* deal for us!!

    • Rbettyanne

When you can, can u post a “getting started” scenario?

    • Bmyvalentine96

New to CVSing.  I watched the video, but I still have one question.  If the offer is buy $12 of certain products and get $4 ECB, is the $12 calculated before coupons and other ECB are deducted or after?

      • Alana262

Yes, the $12 is before coupons and ECBs (and taxes).

So I went to the store and the q’s would not scan, but I did explain, and the cashier read “ANY AJAX PRODUCT” so I was able to get 8 bottles for 39 cents each!!!

Ajax laundry soap and Ajax dish liquid are made by different manufacturers even though they have the same name.  That’s why the coupons beeped.

Try looking in your CVS store near the Almay displays.  My CVS had a tearpad of $1/1 coupons available.  Also, you can try asking the Beauty Advisor if they have any coupons for Almay.

My CVS (Yadkinville, NC) is awesome! The manager went to the back to check on the Softsoap for me and found the 8 oz size. It was Sponge Bob but who cares? Soap is soap!

The A&H detergent isn’t 1.49 each. You have to buy two to use the coupon and they’re 2.99 each so $6 minus $1 coupon minus $1 ecb = $4 which is 1.99 each.

on transaction #4 why are you getting a $10 gift certificate?  I dont understand that one…

For the gas card. You don’t have to spend 30 in one transaction so she broke it up into two transactions to save out of pocket money.

I got a great deal on the Smuckers, but then I realized when I got home one was outdated.   I got the last two, so I will try to exhange next week when they get a new shipment.
