    • Qbert

I think part of the ad is missing

    • 302799

Did I see somewhere that the savings don’t start till 12/26?

    • 302799

The CVS ad this week was only 4 pages.  Very short …. * sigh *

    • ShannonV

Am I missing something?  The scenarios at the bottom are not listed in the ad at the top…

      • guest

Not sure why there not listed here but in the ad…  The zyrtec is $5.99 w/ $5.99ecb and the theraflu is buy 2 @ $4.77 get $3 ecb…

        • canes

also there is a rebate on theraflu if you buy 2

      • Rschulte2000

they are the first two items listed……

    • CJ_Mom

This is in the text of the Rebate form: “Offer cannot be combined
with any other offer, coupon or discount card.”  I take that as the item you are getting the rebate for cannot have a coupon used to purchase it.

      • Rlynn103

I believe you are correct.   I followed a scenario for a “free” bag of dog food that was posted here a few months ago.  It was posted as a “money maker”.   The company refused my rebate, because I used a coupon.  Sure enough, in small print on the bottom of the rebate form, it stated “Offer cannot be combined with any other offer…”

      • Shaina O’Dell

Does “discount card” mean you can’t use your Extra Care Card?

    • Ellie Urquiola

Does this start Monday or Christmas Day?

      • MarySC

The ad is up on iheartcvs dot com and it starts Monday the 26th.

        • Neha

some of their stores are open on 25th

          • Jill

It starts on the 26th, even for the stores that are open Christmas. There is no ad for Christmas day.

    • Anonymous

Saw some multi-pack cotton balls with ECB back deal today, like we’ve had with Soy Joys and Kotex etc., in the past — good through 1/29/2012. If you’re itching to spend some ecbs, keep your eyes peeled for them.

    • Vanessajeanne

Can you please pot the full ad? I think a lot of it is missing! The deals in the scenario are nt even listed in the above posting!

      • Rschulte2000

unless things have been added since your post, the deals from the scenario are the first two items listed under extra care deals….

    • Sheri Homestead

Yesterday a $5 coupon printed at the CVS coupon center for Zyrtec …

      • Susan Heard

Loved getting the $5.99 ECB on the 5 ct Zyrtec.  I used the $5.99 ECB plus the $5 store coupon from the coupon center and a $3 manufacturer’s coupon to get a great discount on a 30 ct bottle of Zyrtec.

    • tina

so today i went to cvs and found head and shoulders  shampoo  50% off when I bought it it gave me back 2 ecb I think it was an unadvertised deal

      • KayBee

I saw the shampoo 50% off today also. How many did you buy to get the $2 ECB?

    • Products81

Not seeing any good deals this week :( or maybe im just burned out from shopping for christmas and couponing at same time:/

    • Stephanie

I’m a little confused about the scenario, I don’t see the ECB deals in the scenario listed in the Extra Care Deals section….  Am I missing something?

    • Shelly

It’s shocking to me that people are actually complaining about a small ad!   It’s Christmas people!  Forget couponing for a week and spend it with your families!   You’re not missing anything!  Good grief!

      • Proudlyamom

AMEN!!  “If you don’t have something nice to say, don’t say anything.”

    • Christina Sullivan

You can’t use a coupon on the Theraflu rebate item.  It says: “Offer cannot be combined with any other offer, coupon or discount card.”  Another blog suggested doing one first on it’s own and using that receipt for the rebate then doing the second in the next transaction and your $3 ECB wby 2 will cumulate and print.  I’m using that method so my rebate doesn’t get rejected.

      • guest

Not sure I am following the logic here.  The ECB is not a problem….the manufacture does not care about CVS giving you them…and they don’t even have to know about them – you can cut off the bottom of the receipt…..the problem is with the $3 coupon.  That comes from the manufacture.  I assume you are suggesting, not to use the second $3 coupon at all.

      • Guest

Maybe I am missing something here, but I don’t actually see those restrictions on the fine print of the Theraflu rebate.

        • Guest

Never mind. I just found it. Thnks

      • Wilford1952

buy the item make a copy of reciept then carry back item to store

        • Allen5577

That is just wrong!  That is the kind of ethical behavior that gives couponing a bad reputation!

        • canes

dont be an ass and try and screw the companies over, people like you make me sick, FIND good deal dont cheat your way to a good deal

          • intheSonshine

I am equally offended by such nasty unnecessary language as you posted here!

        • Honest Couponer

I am sad that Jenny even allows such unethical comments on her site.

          • Allen5577

I flagged Wilford1952 comment for review.  But I guess it didn’t need to be removed, because it is showing back up today…

        • Kelley

          DISLIKE

      • Rjmlcm

I have read the rebate form over and over and it does not say anything about offer cannot be combined with any other offer.

    • bumblesmommy

at least i can get some more physicians formula makeup =) lol..

cant wait for the new year and hopefully GREAT ads again!

      Happy Holidays to everyone!

    • Couponjulie201

Heads up; the magic machine is printing off $2 off any Carmex; it says
skincare, but I asked if I could use it on a $1.99 Vanilla Lip Balm for
and they said yes! So free lip balm!

      • Lyndacoupon

I guess it depends on the cashier. I asked tonight and she told me no, that it was for Carmex lotion.

    • Amandatgraham

      It excludes trial sizes.

    • Lol guys she said it was a short ad. I got told I couldn’t do the Arm and Hammer rebate either because I used coupons

    • Mljdakins

My Target sells a 5 count package and a 3 count package, so I’m assuming the 3 count is considered the “trial size” and the 5 count isn’t.  I think this coupon could be used, but I guess it depends on whether CVS sells the smaller package as well.

    • Mindyinsc

Coupon Machine is printing a $5 off Zyrtec!!!

    • 5hawn

For the people talking about part of the ad missing, just look at the page numbers… lol

    • Just4yall

I see people trying to get around the Fine Print on the Theraflu Rebate…. ITS NOT GOING TO WORK. It cant be done with any other offer, coupon, or discount card. You cant cut off the bottom and think it will be alright because you ExtraCare Card Number prints at the TOP of the receipt and you cant cut that off, plus you cant buy anything at a sale price at CVS without a card and when you buy it, it will say Sale and What you saved next to the item. So I am guessing any receipt that shows up with any kind of discount will be automatically rejected. Just buy one at full Price and be happy with the freebie.

    • Amber022788

zyrtec coupon is no longer available.

    • glenda

So, today I went to CVS to get my theraflu and a couple of other things and when I was walking through the aisles one of the employees came and told me that the CVS brand batteries the 10 pk was ringing up for free! So I score a few packs of batteries! Thanks CVS for the Christmas gift!

      • Frugalfindslover

I just got back from CVS… pretty upset though bcoz they wouldn’t let me get my free item!! I bought a pack of huggies diapers along w/ a cvs wipe which rang up free. I was happy up until the cashier called a manager and told him that there was smthg wrong w/ the register coz it wouldn’t ring up the wipes actual price!!! manager told him to override it so I would pay for it :(  So much for my Christmas gift! do I call corp. about it??

        • cqbell

I was charged in correctly for candy back at Halloween I called corperate they looked at the purchase and fixed it by sending ECB to my card  I would call them if it is a mistake on their part

    • Crownstar

$5 off GUM PerioShield rinse or Perio Balance dental probiotic.
At the bottom of my receipt last night  (after ECBs) I got a coupon.  Never saw that before.  Got a $5 off GUM PerioShield rinse or dental probiotic (exp 1/9/2012).  Not sure why I got it but I went to the GUM website and there is a $5 off coupon that does expire until 2/24/12.  As long as the product isn’t over $10 looks like a freebie!

      • Ladybugpam

those probiotics are around $20-25(and don’t work imo).  I hope you can find the rinse for less.  you can always bring the price down by combining w/a percent off CVS coupon if the item is regular price.  Or, you can hold onto it until the week it expires b/c cvs often gives you coupons for items that will go on sale in the next few weeks!

        • Crownstar

Wow,, 20 dollars for rinse!  Thanks for letting me know.  I’m gonna hang onto the CVS coupon until we approach the exp date to see if it goes on sale.  Yep I have a 25% off coupon from CVS too.

          • Jony

I got gum perio shield rinse today for $10.49 only, i used cvs $10 coupon & $5 mfg coupon end up paying $.49

            • Jony

Im sorry cvs $5 coupon i mean not $10

            • Diana29680

Where did you find the $5 mfg coupon?

            • Crownstar

The 5:00 coupon is at GUMs website.

        • Crownstar

The rinse was $9.99 here in FL; therefore the product was free…Can’t wait to try it.  For anyone interested, CVS printed a coupon at the bottom of my receipt Sunday night for $5 off mouth rinse (see above for full descp); I went the co’s website and they had a $5 coupon to print making the product free…love CVS!

    • trying

Just left CVS…its a nationwide problem that started yesterday. People are getting free stuff all over the place… The register rings up an item and then gives a credit for the same amount.  My CVS brand womens Rogaine…FREE.  The staff had to let them go because its a corporate/computer issue.

      • Tedhead0000

no more free batteries… now, instead of ringing up free, the glitch is not taking off the BOGO and they are having manually ring the 2nd battery pack as free. So watch out or you will be charged twice as I almost was!

    • Shannon

great day at cvs–got my freebies and also needed batteries so I bought the CVS brand B1G1 free and both rang up as free…cashier said the register was doing that yesterday too. I also got some Christmas candy 50% off. My total was under $8 and got back $8.99 ECB!!

      • Jony

$8.99 ECB from christmas candy? If so, what kind of candy and how many candy did you buy to have ecb?   thanks

        • Shannon

the ecbs were from the theraflu and zyrtec. none on the candy, just great deals at 50% off!

    • blondieboo

Be careful with the theraflu. It specifically states in the terms & conditions “Offer cannot be combined with any other offer, coupon or discount card.”

    • Vintere_inga

found 2 Head&Shoulders 75% clearance price, used $1 off 2 and got back $4 ECB, nice little moneymaker. bottom of my receipt said I could get one more. looks like unadvertised reward $2 for each H&S this week

      • Juneybug78

I found 4 head and shoulders yesterday 50% off and used $2 in coupons and got back $6 EB’s.  Crazy!

      • Amy

Your post is the one that alerted me to the Head and Shoulders.  It was my first moneymaker,  Thanks!

    • Lisa

FYI: CVS plans to reset beauty club balances at the end of the year. If you are close to earning a reward, consider shopping this week.

      • Oh I know I need to spend 8.00 and this is on my list to do THIS week :)

      • Gayle

How do you know which items are towards beauty club?

        • Anonymous

I think it’s anything for skin and hair? It should be the few aisles closest to the cosmetic wall.

      • Fallaya

I had to spend $6.95 in order to reach $50, so I purchased a Faith Hill perfume/body lotion gift set for myself!  It was $7.49.

    • Phairplu

Sometimes the small, easy  transactions are the best!  Just came back from CVS, bought 2 Theraflu warming syrup, used $3 ecb (from previous week), (2) $3 off Theraflu warming syrup, paid .54, got back $3ecb and now preparing to send for my rebate, love CVS!

    • ahill

Got the Head and Shoulders deal!!  Yay!!  Bought all they had left.  Each bottle was $1.57 and each got a $2 ECB.  Thanks so much to all of you who posted this deal!  I scored free baby wipes w/ my credit!

      • Anonymous

Wondering what the ecb limit is. How many were you able to get?

        • Isu2014

I was able to purchase 6 before my reciept had offer limit reached.

    • Juju525

Bought 3  Head & Shoulders at 75% off, used a $1/2 coupon and got $6ECB!  Then also got 2 Pantene shampoo & conditioner for $1.57 each and had a coupon for $3/2.  Good deal!!!

      • Carshonsky

Do You Remember where you got the coupons for these from? I cant find them! I got 1 head & shoulders @1.57 with no coupon and 2ECB Back.

        • Stacyannw

the h&s q was in the 12/11 rp, and the pantene q was in the last p&g ad, that ex on the 31st

      • Rose

where did you find them???? i walked the whole store several times and only found head and shoulders for 6.97

        • Stacyannw

i found some that were not marked 75%off, just try to scan the “Ocean Lift” shampoo at the red box and see if it comes up 1.57, good luck

          • Rose

thank you so much i appreciate it

    • Allen5577

My CVS had some Pantene and Neutrogena products 75% off today.  I only had to pay the tax on them. :)

      • jwpretzel

what coupons did you use on them?
        thanks

        • Allen5577

          $2/1 Neutrogena product, $3/2 Pantene

    • Madison Herin

I got 2 Head and Shoulders for $1.57 a piece, had a coupon for $1/2 and that made the the price, $2.14.  I had $2 ECB and I got a $4 ECB back.  I made $4.  I love CVS.  I also bought 2 Nature Made Fish Oil supplements for $12 (BOGO) and then I had 2 printable coupons for $1 off with a store coupon from the “magic coupon machine” for $2… I got 2 Nature Made supplements (retail $24) for $8 that I use everyday.

    • Jgutierrez

can I use a cvs gift card and still get ebc????

      • Amber, NC

You can pay with anything at cvs (gift cards, coupons, other ECBs) and it won’t stop you from receiving the ECBs. Feel free to roll them over and over and never pay cash again.:)

    • Amber, NC

Thank you to everyone that shared the shampoo deals. I just went in hopes of finding Head & Shoulders, which my husband likes, but they were sold out. I did, however, find Pantene large bottles for $1.74 and smaller specialty bottles for $1.57. With the 4 $3 coupons I had, I got 8 bottles for $1.58, plus tax.

Also, I bought the first theraflu in a separate transaction so there would be no coupons on my receipt & I can get the rebate. The sad part is that I couldn’t use ECBs, since they show up as a coupon, so I had to pay with real money. :( I used a coupon on the second theraflu and got the ECBs. I love CVS!

      • Amber, NC

Oh, there had been Dove & Axe shampoo also for 75% off. It was sold out at my store but you all might find it at yours.

    • Momtuell

Shampoo and conditioner isle deals may be available in other stores if you don’t find them in the store closest to you. Some items are reduced from 50% to 75% because CVS is preparing to move to a new plan-a-gram in January.

    • Mlagasse15

Folgers Country Roast is not 43.5oz! It is advertised in CVS AD as 34.5oz, just so you know..

    • Imaprincess09

Jenny, could you please post an article about the UNADVERTISED deals at CVS this week?? I know we only have half of Thursday through Saturday to go shopping, but it would help me and most everyone else, I suspect, tremendously. Thank you. If you’re unable to.. or just wanna spend as much of this week relaxing as you can.. I don’t blame you ;)

    • Bturnerjw

Best CVS trip ever.  Thanks for the info.  I also found Brut Deodorant on clearance for $1.29 to pair w/ $1/1 q.

Bought $170.76 worth of items for .07 cents plus tax and then received back $5.99 Zyrtec ECB and $6.00 Head & Shoulders ECB that I will use next week.

Bought in 2 transactions to follow p&g ‘4 like coupon’ rules:
      4 Aussie @ .99 used (2) $1/2 man q = .50 each,
      8 Herbal Essence @ .99 used (4) $1/2 man q = .50 each,
      3 Head & Shoulders @ 1.57 used (1) $1/2 man q and (1) $1/1 man q = .90 each,
      1 Neutrogena @ 1.94 used (1) $2/1 man q (adjusted down to $1.94) = free,

I bought the only 3 Head & Shoulders left and the only 1 Neutrogena left, but my store had plenty of the other items still on the shelves.

I went across town to another CVS hoping to find more H&S and Neutrogena but no luck.  They did however have plenty of Pantene and Aussie.

Please, please tell me size and kind of Pantene. I haven’t found any marked down in the store.

Tala, the one that was marked down in my CVS store was the Blonde Expressions line of Pantene.  I have seen someone else talking about the brunnete one too.  Take them to the keyosk station to check the prices if they are not marked.

I checked Blonde Expression in 2 stores. All items had a regular price.

Question: Has any of you ever gone to the “IheartCVS” website?
I just did that for the first time and was amazed about the fact, that they show the CVS flyer for the following week already. I mean the week starting on January 8th.
To me, it seems like a good idea, compare the new week with the following week. Any one gone that side too?

Yes, I use it all the time to check upcoming ads. Also use Iheartriteaid Iheartwags and Ihearthemart. All are good weusecoupons  too but that website is huge.

Everyone is saying that you can’t use coupons with the theraflu to get the rebate.  When I purchased the Thera flu today and used the $3 Q, it just said $3 coupon on the receipt (not what the coupon was for)  How would they know you used a coupon for the thera flu?  I bought several other items as well.
