      hm, kinda boring ad

      • AJax

The past few weeks at CVS have been uninspiring, IMHO.

        • Yuliyaporter

          Agree!

    • thebanksfamily

      Yes it is.

    • ME

Keebler Crackers coupon will not work….not the right size.

      • ME

ooops….I was looking at the printable one.  The other one might work.

      • Sillysnicks

I was thinking the same thing.

    • lisa

      what zip for blink tears

    • katkoupon

My local ad shows 3 eb wyb 3 American Greeting cards, and there’s also a $2/3 for AG, using the same Hallmark link above. Might want to double check your ad.

      • VP22

Birmingham is American Greeting too. I kinda had a feeling it would be so I printed both coupons.

    • Looks like a “money maker” if you have the redbox $15 Physicians Formula Q … plus you get a $7 ECB … plus a “rebate”.  Hmmm.   The manager already verified that I can use this Q with the concealer.

      • VP22

        Awesome, I have the coupon!!!!!!

        • Yuliyaporter

I never  got  one :(((  I  hardly  ever  get ANY  coupons  from the red box :(((

          • VP22

Don’t feel bad, I usually don’t get anything either. This was a big surprised. Started off getting great coupons and discounts and then one day, nothing:(

          • Missbatting

last night, for the first time ever, I scanned my card and didn’t get a single coupon.  I hope that isn’t a new trend for me…

            • Yuliyaporter

I know, right???  It  started  happening probably  couple  of  weeks  ago when  I  scanned  my  card  and  got  nothing.  Since then I got  couple  of  pitiful, very  low  value  cpns  and  that’s  it!!!  Never  happened before

          • MommyHeartsCoupons

The more often you buy certain products, it seems the more often you will get more coupons. The more you use CVS coupons, it seems you start getting more to print. Just my experience… ;)

            • Yuliyaporter

I have  been  shopping  at CVS for  couple  of  years  now, every  week, even get  my  prescriptions from them.  Every  cashier knows me  by  name, and I scan  my  card at least twice  a  week.

        • Jacketfan24

me, too, but I have to admit that I thought that $15 off a Physicians Formula purchase seemed wrong and maybe I had misread it!  Maybe I’ll finally get a good deal this week. They have been in short supply lately.

          • VP22

            I so agree with you

      • It is for Physicians Formula Skin Care. Someone ahead of me in line tried to use one of those yesterday and it didn’t scan. Apparently there is a new line of skin care items that my store doesn’t carry yet. :(

        • mrs b

Mine worked on the tinted moisturizer that has SPF in it.

          • Ladybugpam

used mine on blush for $13.29 plus a $1 manu q, scanned w/o a beep and got the overage, too.

    • ErikaOlsen

This might be a good scenario….

Buy 2 Biore cleansers, $6 each
Buy 2 Biore pore strips, $6 each

Use 2 buy one pore strips, get cleanser free. Pay $12, get $5 back. Makes it $1.75 each. I have also seen $1 off peelies inside Biore products and on boxes. You could use 2 of those too and pay just $1.25 each!

      • katkoupon

Biore counts towards the Beauty reward as well! I got $2 biore crt’s this past Sunday, double check your stash. As for the peelies, I’ve tried to use one along with the bogo q, but it beeped for some reason.

        • ErikaOlsen

Too bad I already used my $2 off from my receipt! I have had good luck in the past using coupins with a bogo q, so maybe it depends on the cashier…worth a try either way!

        • Yuliyaporter

It won’t  if  you hand  them a $off  coupon first and  then your BOGO one. Good  luck!

          •  When my cashier used the peelie, it reduced the amount of the BOGO coupon by $1. I thought that I saw on the screen that she entered $7.50, a couple of weeks ago, but when I looked at my receipt, I was only credited $6.50. I should have taken the peelie off and kept it.

      • tori729

Yep, I’ve done this twice already. Not sure what the limit is but I know I Can do it again. I keep getting the $2 off coupon from the red machine so it makes it very worth it.

    • Stacyannw

The physician formula ecb deal seems great,
$7 ECB WYB any Physicians Formula Cosmetics, that would make free makeup if you get the cheapest

      • Cayacoup

        Plan:
        Buy Concealor @ $5.99
use $3/1 CVS coupon plus $1/1 mfr cpn. So, yeah. Nice mm.

        • Erika Joy

Where is the $3 CVS coupon??

      • Brooke

I bought the concealer for $5.99 tonight and it didn’t print the $7 ECB. My fabulous manager manually printed the ECB, but the system didn’t automatically print it. FYI

        • guest

Didn’t work for me. I guess I will return the concealor tomorrow!!

    • Mmader2

Blink Tears yea! Wish I had more than 1 card.

      • lil A’s mom

you are following the rules…thank you :)

    • Abr5473

Will you be getting any Dannon Activia coupons in? Thank you.

      • Palmetto Coupon Clippers

Based on the coupon preview lists I have seen, there will not be any Dannon Activia coupons in the near future. Hopefully I am wrong and they’ll sneak some in. :)

        • Abr5473

Thank you! I was hoping there would be so that I can stack them with the Target Activia coupons:)

          Thank you.

          • Maganbrooks

I have a BUNCH Iwill send to anyone that is interested just let me know how many you would like and your mailing address. I am a dietician and activia sent me 3 tear pads to pass out to patients. maganbrooks@bellsouth.net

            • Adele

I just emailed you.  Hope you still have some left.  Thank you!

            • mrn1

So pass them out to patients.

    • momoffour

Is there a limit on the number of BOGO items CVS will ring in one transaction? i.e. the BOGO Altoids?

      • 1bigsaver

        no

    • LUCYH70

so excited–still have my revlon & physician formula Qs that printed from the red box that don’t expire until the 27th.

    • Kelley B

Does anyone know if the tampon deal (Brilliant) is the same as the one earlier in the month? That is, if I did it two weeks ago, can I do it again now? Thanks!

      • Jnn_horan

New ad, new deal. Yes, you can.

        • Stacyannw

its a diffrent deal also instead of getting $2ecb you get $1ecb

      • paravel43

I don’t see Brilliant tampons anywhere in this ad. What are you referring to?

        • Jnn_horan

Its in the 16ct tampax box.

      • Stephanie

I was wondering about the Playtex deal.  Anyone remember what that was?

      • Ama

Idk if those Brillant tampons are at all Dollar Generals but they have them at mine for $1 a box. FYI

        • JTTLC

I just went to Dollar General and saw these for one dollar a box…I was shocked considering how expensive these are in the other stores. If anyone likes those that is certainly the place to pick them up!! (FYI:  My store has a dollar and these were a very recent addition to the selection.)

          • JTTLC

            …has a dollar SECTION….sorry about that

    • Kati3878

I’m getting kind of bummed with the recent decline in CVS deals. Is it me or has anyone else noticed their stockpiles getting smaller and smaller. :( I used to go to CVS weekly and walk out with awesome deals, but the past couple of months have been bad. :(

      • Judi

Yes I’ve noticed it is very little these days.  I am down to $10.00 EB and having a hard time rolling them.  I remember when I got so much school supplies one year it was crazy.  But that has not happened the last year or two.

        • Kati3878

It seems as though we can count on toothpaste and skin care each week, but little else. :( I miss the $10 CVS cards when you buy $30 of participating products.

          • Mcleodsc

I have too much toothpaste!! Need some deals on things we use weekly! I do not need any more dietary supplements-I have a stash that I cannot give away-nobody wants the stuff!!

            • Cayacoup

Donate to a shelter. Every so often, I go through my stockpile and add to my donation box because i realize, I won’t use it.

      • Gamblesonsfarms

         totally agree!

      • Jbush27

        I agree

      • Reedross

Actually, I think the deals have dramatically declined in all the drugstores…….. even the grocery stores somewhat….. the coupons aren’t as good and the sales aren’t as good – plus the prices are going up and up!  It’s depressing.

      • Kaoscasa

I totally agree with you. But not just CVS.  Also other stores too have declined in their deals. My stockpiles are very low.

      • Madisonanita

I agree! I seem to be getting few, if any, deals at all. And I haven’t gotten but 1 or 2 redbox machine coupons, in weeks.

    • Jenn

I have a question:  When I try to use a coupon and my ECB’s at my local CVS, they tell me that if the ECB’s are over the amount of purchase, then I can’t use all of the ECB’s.  For example, if I bought toothpaste that was $2 and had $1 off coupon and then had $2 ECB, they won’t let me use $1 of my ECB and have a remaining balance of ECB’s.  They deduct the entire amount of the ECB’s and say I still owe tax (say, 20 cents).  Is that just the way it works?

      • Mcleodsc

Yes-they adjust the ECB down to the amount you owe and you still owe tax.  Next time add in something-dish detergent. candy… to use the ECB up-otherwise you are losing money.

      • tori729

Yep, I do believe your ecbs will reduce the amount of tax you pay (depends on the state, I’m in SC). I always ask for my before-tax total so I don’t lose any ecbs.

    • Mcleodsc

finally got a cpn from the redbox-$2/10 photo processing-what is up with the redbox this week?

    • Lana

I found Blink Tears coupon under 07039 in Personal Care category.

    • thebanksfamily

My ad doesnt have Hallmark cards it is American Greeting :(

      • Randa

You can go to the CVS site and get a $3 coupon for the American Greeting cards too. :)

        • VP22

What zip code were you under? I found a $2 off purchase of 3  but not a $3 off.

          • Stacyannw

thats the one i have see too, but that is great deal, you get 3 .99 cent cards and its a 2.03 money maker

            • tryingtosave

If you read the coupon – it says “Each card minimum valud of $1,49” – so if you get three $1.49 cards – that’s three to $1.50 – right??

            • Stacyannw

no the coupon i have is a cvs store coupon and it states, save $2 on 3 american greeting cards, no where on this coupon does it have a minimum value of a card, we may be looking at different coupons

            • Musiclady0110

where did u find ur coupon?  If it’s a man. Q then it can be conbined w/ the cvs…wow!!!!

            • VP22

If you have the Hallmark deal and coupons, it’s buy 3 that are at least $1.49 each but some of us have the American Greetings instead and that one has a coupon for $2 off the purchase of any 3 cards. That’s why she said .99 cuz the AG coupon does not have a minimum price.

          • Randa

Yeah, the American Greeting one is $2 now.  :/

    • guest

ECBs did not print for Hallmark cards or Blink.  And Blink was $12+ in my store.

      • Jbush27

umm… this ad doesn’t start until tomorrow.

        • guest

I printed a list several days ago so, the offers must have been the same last week.  I’m certainly not that ahead of myself!

          • Judi

This ad doesn’t start until April 22!!  Even if your store usually starts on Saturday they may not have got it done yet.  I would bring the stuff back tomarrow,April 22, with sale paper in hand and return everything and purchase again.  You can scan your items at price checker machine to make sure you have the ones on sale. HTH

            • Hairxpert4

yes, they told me you can still get the sunday prices on saturday evening but you won’t get the ECB’s. So, makes sense to go Sunday morning. Plus not everything is marked yet on saturday afternoon so the Blink may be priced lower tomorrow.

            • guest

The only times you won’t automatically get your ECBs in a store that turns the sale on early is when an item is already on sale in the previous week’s ad and the system decides that the previous week’s sale is better.  The ECBs (and the new sale price) won’t be in effect for that item until Sunday.  Sale prices and ECB printing for “2 Day Only and 3 Day Only” items also will not print early.

Otherwise, the ECBs will print early on Saturday.  I  have been shopping that way for years – in fact, we used to have a store start the new ad on Thursday and the ECBs would print then.

            • Judi

If you are the Guest that this string of comments started with… Did you get it strightened out and get the sale price and ECBs?

        • Sillysnicks

Many stores start their Sunday ads on Saturday afternoon.

        • Karmabottle

Using “ummm” to preface a comment in cyberspace is like saying, “Duh, stupid”.

      • Mel

its the smaller box that is on sale …… Blink Tears has 2 different size boxes.

    • Styles2fine

Cvs has stop paying overage on coupons at my store anyways…….I can’t get a good deal there at all as of 2 months………I’m seeking deals elswhere now but will keep an eye out at the CVS,,,,…..

    • Sillysnicks

They Almay deal did not work for me.  Did anyone else have any trouble?

      • Mcleodsc

I went to shop earlier and there was some kind of glitch and the sales could not be activated.

        • Sillysnicks

Ok, thanks.  I will return and repurchase!

    • Rebecca

Does anyone know if CVS is going to do the gift card w/ bonus gift card offer again for Mothers Day?

    • Mcleodsc

FREEBIE! Cottonelle toilet paper holder is $1.99 and you get back $1.99 ECB even tho the sign says $1 back plus the sign says limit one but the actual limit is 4. You have to have them rang up seperately and you can use the 1.99 ECB to pay for the next one. In the holder is one roll and coupons!!

      • Stacyannw

is this an unadvertised deal, i am not seeing anything about cottonele toilet paper holders anywhere

        • Mcleodsc

I just happened to see it near the paper products aisle. It had a sign up-I cannot remember the dates but I think it might have had an ending date in May.

Thanks so much posting this. I got mine today. I wasn’t planning on going to CVS so I may have missed it. I think it goes until 5/24 I think.

      • Thank you for posting! I was able to get one of the 3 that they had left in my store! So exciting :) Thank you!

    • Brookie

To the 3 lovely ladies that cleared the shelves of the Blink Tears and Soozeberry before 6:00 on Saturday night, thanks for leaving some for the rest of us!! I came behind you at about 5:45 and all of the freebies were gone! What happened to 1 card per household?!?

      • sarah

Happens to me all the time.  The cashier said that this person is someone who runs a small grocery business and uses coupons to get cheap products for her store.  I find it very disturbing.

      • Couponclipper08

I am confused…you said the ladies bought the freebies at 6:00 on Saturday. I thought the deals do not start until Sunday morning when the stores open????

      • Couponclipper08

Okay nevermind about my confused question, I found the answer below. I did not know that the sales start Saturday afternoons at some stores.

      • Jordyn’s mommy

Lol, I think those ladies must live in my town too… where are you from? It is crappy to always only get rain checks.  However, in the end sometimes I do better with a raincheck because there may be a better coupon later…

    • Ashleyjackson9781

Physicians formula Concealer stick for 5.79 uld not print out the 7 ecbs. They printed them for me though after I pointed out that it doesn’t specify anything other than no clearance.just so ya know:) they said they would probably send out a revision tomorrow:(

      • guest

Didnt work for me either :(

        • Mary

It did not work in South West GA either.

      • mrs b

My magic coupon machine gave me a $3 off any physician’s formula cosmetic, I bought the $6.29 concealer, but had to have the manager print me the $7 ECB after the transaction because mine didn’t print either. (My area paper didn’t have the manuf coupon that week)

He had to check the ad and the display, but the concealer rack had a hangtag on it that stated ANY phys formula gave the $7 ECB.
Well worth waiting a few minutes for that one.

    • Quilhil

Is the depends deal a month long deal or is it over. Thanks

      • Stacyannw

        no its over

    • Mel

FYI………… some of the blink tears have a $4 off peeilie…  What a great suprise!!!!

    • Toni

The rebate for the Physicians Formula product states to buy a “specially marked” product.  Does the box have to have some type of verbage on it or can I buy any of the listed items?  Thanks

      • Stacyannw

it has to be marked on the packageing

      • VP22

The package will have a little sticker on it and you have to have it and mail it in with the form and receipt.

    • Emi Mills

The Post Honey Bunches of Oats cereal was actually BOGO, so with (2) $0.75 coupons it was $1.05/box.

    • Janell

I have a lot of BOGO items in my ad this week but I don’t see any in the matchup above….did anyone have luck making deals with those items? I have some ECB’s I need to get rid of and I have been feeling a little let down by CVS lately.

      • Mcleodsc

I think that maybe we are all waiting until someone tries out some scenarios on the BOGO items using coupons. Does anyone know if you can use a BOGO cpn AND a $1.00 off on the Head and Shoulders? Or does the BOGO cpn attach to both items?

        • Eccangel31

If they are both Man. Q’s then you can’t. If one is a store and one is a man. Q then you could. HTH!

        • zeb

The cvs stores that I go to allow a dollar off coupon with a bogo.  One coupon for each item.  I know many stores do not allow it, so it probably depends on your particular store

        • Livserge331

I bought 4 H&S and used 2 BOGO coupons and 2 $1 coupons successfully. It should not be a problem. Say each bottle is labled A, B, C, and D. You use the BOGO coupons and C and D are now free. You are paying for A&B. So you are using the $1 coupons on A&B. That’s the way I have explained it to cashiers before.

        • Drfoste3

sounds like a great deal!  where did you get your $1 off Q?  I checked the coupon database and didn’t see one :(

    • Mary

The cheapest Hallmark card I could find, that fit the description on the CVS coupon was $2.49 (The value had to be a min. of $1.49.)

      • couponmomof5

I bought some that for $2 each. They are near the section that has 99 cent cards. they are clearly marked 2/$4. I got 3 and used the $3 coupon. paid $3 got $3. hth

    • Hecyeh

I agree that the deals have been lacking at CVS lately. They told us things were about to change for us coupon users. :-(

      • Sharon

May I ask, who “They” is?

      • Sharon

        I mean “us”.   is

    • sjgsjg

My CVS is so good to me!  I got $9.99 back on each BOGO head & shoulders coupon I used…  I bought 4, the dream water, and the blink drops and made $7.02!

      • Scubagirl Kim

Can you please explain? I thought the limit was 1 on the head and shoulders. Thanks

        • Judi

I think it is wyb 3 get back $4.00 ECBs.  You can use the coupon (2) B1G1F and get 4 bottles.  The ECB’s is a limit of one, but you can get 4 bottles if you have the two B1G1F coupons. Maybe some one else can comment, since I myself am not getting this item. HTH

          • Mcleodsc

the store gave her the full value of the BOGO cpns instead of reducing them down to the sales price. The stores here would NEVER allow overage.

I have 3 stores I go to that allow it. A manager told me they can accept the higher value if it scans in for the higher amount but they can’t manually enter it. I love cvs too!!!!

        • sjgsjg

It was one deal at 3/$14.  I bought 4 (getting 2 free) which gave me the ECBs.  My 2 BOGO coupons I used each gave me $9.99 (the full price) instead of the sale price that I paid.

      • RN1couponer

Sure hope your cashier doesn’t get in trouble over that one.  The store in my area has really started cracking down on things like this. The store must prove their sales to get reimbursed for coupons and they may  possibly not get reimbursed for those coupons.  This will all come back to us in the long run.

        • Reedross

The cashier should get into trouble…. that’s coupon fraud.  You can’t write in a value more than the cost of the item.

      • Scubagirl Kim

Just did your bogo deal and the head and shoulders. Thanks for sharing about the coupon or I wouldn’t have done the deal. No my homeless shelter can have some dandruff shampoo now. Don’t worry about all the coupon police on this site, some of us appreciate you sharing your good news.

    • Drmars123

Did this deal today.$5 ECB with $15 products.Bought 1 Biore pore strip $6, 1 Biore Cleanser $6, and 1 John Frieda hair syler $6. Used Free Biore cleanser wyb pore strips coupon from ss 3/4,john frieda $2 coupon from ss 3/4.$10+tax and get $5 ECB. I rolled over ecb’s from blink tears so only paid $1.03.

    • Robinpedigo

Does anyone else have problems with their CVS always having an excuse for not giving you a raincheck on items?

      • VP22

I have never had any problem with mine. Do you have any other locations nearby?

      • Judi

Yes, some cashiers are too lazy and would rather say the truck comes in Thursday, come back then.  I know there will not be any on the truck even if I came back.  So, I try to avoid those cashiers, I will leave and go to another store if I have to.  But if it is one of my nice cashiers I explain that I live 25 minutes away and I only come to town once a week and that is why I need the rain check.  I can’t drive back into town on Thursday just to find out they didn’t get any in. The nice cashiers understand and this is indeed the truth for me. I have one cashier tells me there are 15 CVS stores right here and a person can drive to the next one.  To that I say “do you know how much gas is ?” She is the one I avoid at all cost. This cashier also told me from now on when I useR/C that is more than two weeks old on a free item, that they will not issue me ECBs but instead just give me the item free.  I said “I will be out of ECBs doing it that way, I try to roll my ECBs.  When I am out of ECBs I won’t be shpping at CVS.  But this cashier is the  only one to do this to me. See why I avoid her at all cost.I am ve

        • EricsWifeOwensMom

Please call corporate with that information. That cashier needs to be following CVS policy on rainchecks instead of making up her own.

        • Robinpedigo

This CVS says they can’t give out rain checks if it is a vendor item. (which may be true) Yet the ad does not state no rain checks.  They also say they will not be getting items back in (promotional).  It just seems like lately they have an excuse for everything.  I went to another CVS  tonight.

          • judi

I beleive that is true on the promotional items and also on seasonal items, because they will probably not get any more of those items in.  I have never been told that about vendor items.

        • Christie

The thing you said about the 2 weeks out with a rain check is True… They have been doing this since late last year.. It’s just takening some store longer to remember this… If it’s free then u wouldn’t be useing any ECBs anyway…

          • rey

Yes I would use ECB’s on the free item.  For example, if the free item gives back $3.00, then I would use a $3.00 ECB to pay for it and them get $3.00 back which would be rolling my ECB’s and a new expiration date.  If I can’t roll my ECB’s then I will be out soon and no longer shopping CVS.

        • Jordyn’s mommy

I think what is confusing is that if ur cashier says that then…. if it was for example a makeup for $5 then $5 ECB back then the cashier said instead of ECB’s you will just get the item free in the first place then you would never need to use your ECB’s to pay the $5 because it would be free…. only paying tax which you can’t pay with ECB’s anyway

          • Q-Savvy

Yes thats what she is saying.  But I want to pay with my about to be expireing EB’s and then get new EB’s back with a longer expireing date, This is called rolling your EB’s.  If I can’t roll my ECB’s then they will expire (or I will have to spend them on something) and I will have none left.  It will be like starting all over from nothing. Does this make sense? or am I missing something.

    • Pampers were on sale at my store in VA for $9.49. I didn’t see it listed so I figured I would let everyone know. There is a $1.50 off coupon on coupons.com. Not the best deal but if you need them, like I did, it is good and you can roll your ecbs from your free items to pay for the dipes :)

    • Denise

So disappointed withe the red box also…haven’t gotten anything in the last couple weeks except one here or there for things I do not use. What is up with that?  I use to be so excited to see what printed out!

      • VP22

I think it has been sucky for a lot of people lately. I went last Sunday and nothing. Then I went on Mon or Tues and had some print out.

        • JTTLC

I was also wondering the same thing.  It used to print out great things and if I had not printed in a while it would print a lot out at once.  Now I am lucky to get one printed and it is usually ones that I just throw away…..ugh

      • Ladymeo

I just recieved a REDBOX coupon for a free bottle of Contact Solution….  I’ve been getting awesome coupons from there lately.

      • I went in twice last Thursday and we checked my card, my grandmothers card, the assistant managers card and a card from the register and none of them would give a single coupon.. it said there were no coupons available…. no worse luck than that….

      • DeeDee

Redbox printed a save $4 off $20 purchase today. Love that!

    • Tiffanyandnick

My CVS has American Greeting Cards on sale.  CVS still has a coupon for $2.00 off and there is a $1.00 off 3 on American Greeting website.

      • Maria

Thanks for the info! :)  Stock up on Mother’s Day cards.  I know I can’t get the ECB on the 2nd trans.  But, it’ll all still be free.

      • Crystal3

Where did you find the coupon on their website.
        I don’t see it.

      • Easyscrapbooks4u

My CVS wouldnt take both coupons

    • momto2

Went to CVS tonight. Was able to get a Blink Tears and Dream Water..Has anyone tried the Dream Water? Just wondering if it works. Also found a display with these cute decorative boxes that have a single roll of cottonelle TP in it. It was $1.99 with $1.99 ECB so it was free!

      • Brandi

Yes, the cottonelle is Free with ECB and I know you can do it more than one time, not sure how many but the deal has not expired on my receipt!!

        • Brandi

It also had 2 coupons inside the can for 25 cents off of cottonelle wipes and 25 cents off of cottonelle tp.

        • Mcleodsc

limit was 4-just get each one seperately-you can use the 1.99ecb from the first one to pay for the second one, then use the ecb from the second one to pay for the third one, then use the ecb from the third one to pay for the fourth one then you will get another 1.99 ecb . I already did this so I know it works.

          • Q-Savvy

why do you have to do them seperately?  If I hav say $4.00 EB’s could I but two in the same transaction and get $3.98 back.

            • guest

              sorry for the typos,

            • tori729

You don’t *have* to do them seperately but if you combine them, the ecbs on them are combined so you will have 7.96 in ecbs. It’s harder to spend that much at once in one transaction sometimes so it might be better to do more so you can be more flexible.

      • Scubagirl Kim

Tried the dream water last night and it was Amazing!!!!!!!!!!!! I slept like a baby through the whole night; which I can never do and felt awesome this morning. Jumped right out of bed at 6. I am sold. I have never done any sort of “shot” before but I will again.

      • Bkittie

I tried one bottle of the Dream Water, and it didn’t make any difference at all in how I slept.

      • Madisonanita

I went to cvs tonight, couldn’t find dream water. Pharmacy couldn’t find it, manager was sassy and said…didn’t get it…soooorrrry! None of the toilet paper holders, and still no reinventing beauty books! Never have had any of those. Where did you find dream water?????

        • Judi

The dream water is on the row with pain med’s near the sleep aid med’s about the third shelf down, they look like they are two small cans but they are bottles. I think the thermacare heat wraps were behind me onthe other side.  I had to go to four stores and only one had a few toilet paper holders, I did for once get in adeal. Reinventing is usually laying on a shelf in the purfume/make up area at my store. You can ask and they can tell you. HTH

          • Madisonanita

            Thanks for the help!!!!

    • Sherry Florida

went for the scrubbing bubbles deal, of course they were out, so when i went to get a rain check the manager heard me ask and said oh i have 3 of these that i just marked down! $0.94!  Had a coupon for $2.00 off two, so $0.82 for all three!!!! happy dance!!!!

    • lapcouponer

I just went to CVS and all went well until I bought a $5.99 Physiians formula product and it did not print out the $7 ecb. The person there who I have had a problem with in the past. The only one at this store I have ever had a problem with told me I must buy a product costing $7 or more or I could not get the $7 ecbs and that is the way ecbs work. Anyone heard of this or run into this I will call the manager in the morning?

      • Sharon

I can’t help you, the product I bought was 7.99 and did get my ECB

      • Bkny63

This happened to me.  I bought the $5.99 concealer stick and it didn’t produce my ECB.  But the cashier manually printed it for me.

      • Faerybreath

I did this yesterday and today at two different locations.  The first location didn’t have an issue with it yesterday.  She looked at the ad, and said yep, that’s what it says.  And she printed one right up for me manually.  When they do that, it doesn’t show on your receipt, so I tried again today at another location, and they were ready to not give it to me.  I killed them with my kindness and southern charm, and nicely explained that it doesn’t state in the ad that you need to buy the item of equal or more value on the ad.  Eventually the store manager gave it to me.  He did say that he’d be rolling that up to corporate for a retraction on the items costing less than the ECB.  So it probably won’t last long that you can get this deal.

        • guest

Isn’t the limit one per card? It seems to me that, if we’re going to hold CVS responsible for following their wording, we should do the same. (i.e, if they have to give the ECB because that’s the way the ad is worded, we need to follow their rule for 1 per card, whether or not it shows on the receipt)

          • guest

My physicans formula is showing at the bottom of my receipt.  I got eye shadow that cost $8.79, I paid with $8.50 ECB, so I paid .30 cent for it and got back 7.00 ecb.

        • Me

I am glad the store honored the deal…I wish you would not have commited fraud…

          • guest

I’m against fraud too and I have not looked at the ad to see what it actually says, but if the ad states $7 ECB WYB any Physicians formula, how would that be fraud?

            • Q-Savvy

The person “ME” is referring to Fareybreath got one and it did not track on her receipt, so she went to another store and got another one. I think the limit is one. I guessing thats the point.

            • guest

Because she knew that the deal was a limit of once but did it twice anyway.  The fraud was not in getting the 7 ECBs printed the first time — I think that was completely valid.  But to take advantage and do it a second time at another store is just dishonest

          • Faerybreath

            wow, really?

            • Me

Yes, really.  To complain to the manager until you could get a SECOND deal at a different store on a deal you had already received at a different store=fraud.

      • Miomao

I got that  today its 5.99, paid 6.06 got seven ECBs. thats 1 money maker. didnt printed though but the price label was on the product, that she gave to me manually. love CVS

    • Maria

Stopped by my CVS today intending to purchase a gift bag and a bday card.  Didn’t happen like that…one of the cashiers I talk to regularly gave me a heads up on the 75% off racks on Easter stuff.  I ended up purchasing $110.72 of stuff for $34.33, without coupons.  Could’ve gone in the truck to get by ECBs, but, didn’t have time.  Saved over 68% for next years Easter.   Luv my CVS!

BTW, I received the Gevalia coupons from the MCP today and would like to ask if anyone knows of a great deal coming up with CVS for this coffee?  Thanks in adv.

      • Guesswho

at my store easter items are marked 90% sweeet

        • Maria

           Wow! That’s great!

    • Scubagirl Kim

Can anyone direct me to a site that tells you when you can throw away the old coupon inserts that have completely expired? My inserts are overtaking my house! Thanks.

      • Aggiecoupons

I send mine to a family stationed overseas. I think I found them through FB. I think it’s called Coupons for Troops. I just sent a large bag of coupons every time I clean out my file. (Although I’ve slacked lately. I’ve got 2 bags to go and need to clean out my file again next week.)

        • JTTLC

I actually starting sending mine to a military family that I found through the blogs on this site.  I LOVE LOVE LOVE when she emails and tells me how much money she spent on her shopping trips!!  That makes the time and effort of sending them sooo worth it!!

      • Couponjunkie

I take mine to my local VFW who clips and sends them to the troops stationed overseas. There is a two month max limit on how old the coupons are. So if you hold your inserts til you’ve used all you need the others have most likely expired long ago. That’s what happens when my MIL gives me hers.

      • Scubagirl Kim

Lol. My question was when to throw them out; not where. I don’t want to take the time to go through every page of the last 30 weeks of inserts to see if they have all expired. I thought I read a few months ago that there was a website that told you this information. Thanks for your help.

        • Guest

I believe it’s every 13 weeks or so. I have a folder with 13 dividers and when I get the 14th I throw out the oldest.

      • tori729

Jenny tells you to just flip through the insert when you get it and find the oldest expiration date and put that on the front.

    • Scubagirl Kim

Does anyone know where I might find the Tom’s of Main tear pad. I saw one at Albertsons a few months ago, but they were gone this weekend when I checked. Thanks

      • Crownstar

I found the tear pad at Whole Foods

I’m actually on my way back b/c they charged me $8.79 for one lipstick that should have been $6 according to Ad so watch the ring up if you do that deal.  Thanks you Jenny & CVS!!!!!

      • Onlyme

I got 4 head & shoulders shampoos,3 greetings cards,1 physicians formula concealer stick,1  blink tears,1 easter filler (for my daughter basket next year) and 1 gallon of milk  for only 3 cash OOP and 2 ECBs. thats 11 items for 5 dollars total ( I said 5 but actually was 4.88) sweeeeet. its like paying 0.40 cents for shampoo when the regular price is about 6 each

        • LUCYH70

Great job!  I get so love it when we get deals like this.  Even my hubby gets excited especially when I bring home a bag of stuff and did not spend any money.  That last part REALLY makes him smile.

    • my sister did a deal yesterday with the zyrtec coupons that were expiring and the store manager told her I could bring mine in today and do the same if I wanted…. I think she said you end up paying $8 for two 40 ct bottles, does anyone else see this scenario working?

    • Katherine

I found a deal to get free toilet paper at CVS!  there was a display at my store to buy a specially designed Cottonelle toilet paper roll holder for $1.99 and get $1.99 ECB.  The sign said limit one but when the receipt printed, I got my $1.99 reward and it said I still had one available for reward.  I was actually able to buy 4 total…..with $1.99ECB each time before the limit was reached!

      • guest

yes, others have commented about this already.  I am thankful for everyone sharing, because for once I got in on a surpise deal.  Today (Monday) I got four also.  I don’t need the holder but four free rolls of TP is great. I had to go to four different stores and only one had the display.  I guess the others had sold out.

        • Marty

Judi, the holders work great for anything else! I hide stuff like baby meds in little boxes, same for sample packs of shampoo’s etc. Little cute boxes are awesome! (Off to CVS…)

        • Guest

Use the holder for other things, I already had 2 from buying Cottonelle and sending in the UPC code back when they first came out so I one for each bathroom. Now I got 4 more. I put all my nail polish into one, put my stash of free dental floss in another one and put them in my bottom bathroom cabinet. They can be used for a lot of different things.

        • Helen

The blue/green ones match my bathroom decor, so we’re using them to hold feminine products, small makeup items, etc. I’ll be using them in my linen closet to hold my sample shampoos, etc. (great idea Marty!!)

      • MomOfFour

Do you need to do this one at a time?  I bought 2 in one transaction and only got the $1.99 ECB.  Usually ECB deals don’t work like that, but I’m wondering if this is an exception.

        • Judi

I did mine in four different transactions, only because I was rolling the ECB’s from one to the next.  But I don’t see why you could not purchase four or whatever in one transaction, you would end up with $8.00 EB on one  EB, and I don’t like to have that many on one.  What did you’re receipt show at the bottom, if you have not meet the limit I would take it back and show them.

    • Melissatwy

Does anyone know what number I would call at CVS headquarters to complain about my CVS not giving me the $7ECB associate with the Physicians Formula deal this week?

      • ME

Go to the CVS website and click on “contact us”.  That should give you a number to call for customer service.

      • Lish

My CVS will always review the ad if it fails to print and the cashier has the ability to give you an ECB.  Perhaps you should look into a more customer friendly CVS.

      • Judi

I skip the DISQUS, I don’t know what that is either.  If you want to type a comment, just go to the top of comments listed and there is a box that says “type your comment here” and just type it, after you do a box pops up, put your e-mail and name and click post comment. That should work. I don’t log in. HTH

Please tell me what zip code the spinbrush coupons are under! Thanks!!

      • Kellyhouse67

        Nevermind, figured it out!

    • Roxanne R

The Cottonelle Roll w/ Cover is on sale for $1.99 and you get $1.99 ECB, making it FREE. Even better is that it rang up for $1.87 and I still got the $1.99 back.

    • carla

ugh…. My flyer shows 3 EB on American Greeting, not Hallmark!!  Coupon is for Hallmark.  Ok, I’m I missing something?

      • Judi

My is also A/G.  I got 3 A/G cards at .99 each, I paid with $3.00 ECB’s, then got my $3.00 back in ECB’s.  So free cards.  The .99 cards aren’t that great, but neither are the $4.00, but free makes them great. You don’t have to have a coupon if you get the .99 cent cards they are free.

      • Sandra

on cvs website there was a $2/3 AG cards

        • Maria

Hey everybody…don’t forget that American Greeting Card also has a $1 off 3 cards you can stack with the CVS coupon.  Just so you know…  =)

          • :D

that coupon is only good for card that is higher than  .99

            • Maria

You know, ur right. Although, my cards weren’t the .99 cent ones.  I didn’t see any Mother’s Day cards in the .99 cent slots.  :(

      • cindharb

Gotta use the zip code Jenny mentioned, 30003.

    • Madisonanita

Would love to get some  WET ONES coupons. Our paper didn’t have any. I can use  ALOT!! I keep kids and use them every day! Will exchange them for any coupons I have. Thanks   email me- madisonanita@yahoo.com

Physicians Formula – my CVS coupon kiosk gave me a $3.00 off any Physicians Formula product coupon today, which I used toward the concealer stick ($5.99) and it qualified for the $7.00 ECB. Big money maker!

      • Boobear1776

My CVS wouldn’t let me get the concealer stick for $5.99, they said it had to at least cost $7. Why is that?

        • Jennielee25

It doesn’t specify… I would call store or corporate

    • Kristy

My CVS coupon kiosk printed off a $5.00 off Revlon face product coupon. I combined that with a $2.00 off Revlon photo ready face product coupon that I got out of Elle magazine to get Revlon colorstay eyeshadow quad for .65 cents!!!!

FYI my Elle subscription was free through MyCokeRewards.com

    • Dtcox1

went today to get three crackers  3 for 4.00 had a dollar off  coupon and 3.00 x b so it was free love free …… the red box gave me 5.00 off any revlon products so i got a nail polish 4.99 all was tax .28 cents and got 1.00 xb back love love my cvs

    • Kimboone123

went to CVS today armed with m $1 off blink to get the money making deal and I was happily surprised when the blink had a $4 coupon attached to it, so it was even MORE of a money maker!  I also got the tampax tampons and the kotex U tampons….rolled my ECB’s from last week and spent $1.00 all tax!  Walked out with $8.99 ECB’s!!  LOVE LOVE LOVE CVS!

    • Ginger

I hope someone knows the answer to this one! The magic coupon machine gave me a 1$ off Carefree/Stayfree and also a 1$ off any pad/tampon purchase. Do you think I can use both on the same item?

      • GUEST

You can use two coupons on an item as long as it’s a store and manufacturer coupon.  In this case, the machine prints store coupons so you won’t be able to use 2 store coupons on the same item.  Hope that makes sense.  :)

You may be able to use these at Bilo this week for a fuelperk offer if you have a BiLo close by. Need to ask if they accept CVS g’s.

“CVS/pharmacy accepts one manufacturer coupon and applicable CVS/pharmacy coupon(s) per item, unless prohibited by either coupon offer. “So if you buy a Stayfree Pad, you can use both and a mfr coupon, but I would take a copy of the policy with me, I even had a cashie at PUBLIX deny my using 5 store and 5 mfr coupons on 10 products the other day, had to talk with a manager to get it through!

Does anyone know of a coupon insert distributer in the following georgia areas? Sandy springs, roswell, alpharetta, marietta, or dunwoody? Please email me at tmfloves@hotmail.com with any information. Thank you

If you try your question on the community board of this website you’ll have better luck.  I know there are a few people who sell inserts from the AJC but don’t remember specific names.

It might be just me, but it seems like CVS has really cut down on  deals and coupons.  I’ve been cvsing for 4-5 yrs and used to get such great buys and now I occasionally do. I just got another 25% coupon on a nonsale item and I rarely have a use for them.

      • Cucuponer

        yes those are useless :(

Some of the CVS stores have the Toilet paper roll decorative covers, $1.99 with $1.99 ECB’s, says limit 1, but I got 5, used $10 previous ECb’s and got back $9.95…

I just had the worst CVS trip.  I went expecting to purchase the Nice’nEasy hair color on sale for $6.99 get $1 ECB.  My hair color was not part of the sale let alone a $1 ECB. Then my 20% of coupon would not work.  My other transactions were counting on this being part of the plan I had worked out. When  I got to the register no one in the store was ready to check out, but of course the minute you get up there to do your multiple transactions everyone comes up and forms a line behind you.  So frustrating!! Spent more money oop than I had planned and feel like a total failure. Not to mention an  uncooperative cashier.  Not worth all the aggravation today. UGH!!  Thank you for letting me vent.

Had a great trip today…Did the Head n Shoulders, John Frieda/Biore, Snoozeberry, AG card, Physician’s Formula, and Blink Deals.  Also included were 2 Honey Bunches of Oats B1G1.  Total = $84.76.  After CVS Qs, MQs, ECBs, plus 25% off, OOP came to $7.14.  Received $33.79 in ECBs. Whoop!  Then the Husband came over and needed to buy a Combo Hair Kit for $27.49…was kinda sad, knowing it would have taken most of the ECBs returned.  Then when we got to the register, it rang up $6.87.  Double Whoop!  Used $7 ECB, had to change it down because it would have been $.13 cents over, paid $.48 in tax.  Happy Happy!  Soooo, $112.73 worth of items for $7.62. Still have $26.79 in ECBs.  :)  117% in SAVINGS!!!

I also wanted to add that I was very disappointed in whoever took all of the $1 off any Biore product coupon from all the Biore Cleansers in my local store.  I try to share the wealth by leaving coupons behind when I have extras but…this was just rude.

you go girl I wish i could score that kinda deal

My CVS in Carolina Beach, NC had $2 off coupons on all the Banana Boat sunscreens & $1 off all Hawaiian Tropic sunscreens!

I vented last night about such a bad CVS trip.  I just found out that Kroger has my Nice’n Easy hair color on sale for $5.99 and there is a $3 e-coupon. Sometimes things happen for a reason! Always looking for the silver lining!

I always have nice n easy coupons. I don’t use them. Send me your address and I’ll send them to you. If you can use them. madisonanita@yahoo.com

My mom went to CVS without me because she needed mascara. She said ‘I know my daughter will be upset if I don’t use her car..Can I do it by a phone number?’ Not sure what number she put it, But apparently it’s a completely different card than mine. And I guess we lost that one because  neither of us has another card in the house (or can find it) Is there any way to use the ECB she got from her mascara, on my card? the ECB even has my full name on it and everything I just don’t remember making another card. Or a way to combine the cards so if she uses the number again, it will go to the right card?

Have you registered it online?  You can check your profile info on there and correct it.  I had to do that with mine.  If not, call customer service and they will help you sort it out.  They are very good about it.

Not too late to get the sunscreen.  O found the 25% more bottles are also $6.99 and if you look on the shelves there are $2 coupons.  $ sunscreen = $28 – $10 – $8 in coupons = $2.50 each.

I am wondering that because the data from 2011 suggested coupon redemption was up 61% (no doubt from TLC’s Extreme show) that all manufacturers cut way back and CVS does not offer nearly the deals I used to get the past 3 years.  Maybe the “fad” of couponing will fade, and leave only us die hards who need to do it. Then the coupons and offers will get better? Just a thought.
