    • I’m liking the Pantene deal!  I have a coupon for a free bottle, then I’ll get a $1 RR so I’m going to make a dollar!

      • Publix Chick

I think that is the only thing I have coupons for this week too.

      • Anonymous

Can you use the -$3/2 and the free coupon one? I didn’t think you could so I wasn’t going to try it…….

        • Anonymous

Pretty sure you can’t use both

        • Tisha Seymour

no you cant since they are both mfg q’s

      • Anonymous

have to buy 2 to get the ecb.  So that would pretty much make them $1.24 each if you use a free coupon after ecb, or $1.48 each after ecb if you just use the $3/2.  Still a good deal.

      • Anonymous

I used to have 2 coupons for free bottle, but I used one last week because I was out of shampoo. If only I had saved it another week…

Anyone else getting a lot of free pantene coupons in the mail? I don’t remember requesting so many of them, but I’ve gotten 6 in the past few months. Of course I’m not complaining, I just feel like I’m on some sort of weird mailing list.  4 of them were for any product, and the last two I’ve gotten have been just for Shampoo and conditioner.

    • Publix Chick

Wow. Kind of a sad week…

    • Anonymous

I’m happy about the Pantene deal.  I plan on using one of my free shampoo coupons for one, and a $3 off 2 for the other.  Would that work?

      • Anonymous

I don’t believe you can use both of them.  Since the $3/2 attaches to both products, if you also used the free q then you would be using two mfg q’s on one item which is not allowed.

      • Anonymous

you would have to buy 3 total.  can’t combine the $3/2 coupon with the free on only 2 bottles.

    • Too bad the asprin is a limit 1.. Hubby has to take them for heart probs :( At least he will be getting 2 free boxes basically :)

    • Anonymous

does anyone know how much the gatorade would be?

      • Tisha Seymour

        1.99 regular price

    • Anitra Gordy

I tried to put a scenario together earlier and just couldn’t b/c there’s nothing exciting! :(

      • I’m glad it wasn’t just me, I stared at it for way too long and jut couldn’t do it.

        • Krista Pickett

It’s always nice to hear that you’re in the same boat as we are!

    • Anonymous

      skiping CVS this week…bummer!

    • Anonymous

Pretty weak ad. I might go by just to get the bottled water for $2.22… Nothing else.

    • Anonymous

We need batteries for kids toys badly, so I m kind of glad it is on gas deal. I ll combine with tide. If my plan works, end up paying $21.00 for 4 tides and 16 pack batteries and get back $10 gas card. Not bad.

      • Anonymous

        there’s a good deal in batteries @ menards, rayovac alkaline batteries 20pack, 1.99 each after $4 mail-in rebate :)

      • Jasmine Cecilia Velazquez

or you can always go to the dollar tree for batteries….we get them often and have found that they are pretty long lasting especially for the price!

I have had a $1.00 / 1 Pantene styler in my binder for a while now, probally since late October of last year that came in a product it expires 8-31-12 might want to check. I will do the Aspirin for T1, then in T2 1) Shampoo & then a styler – Free Mq – $1.00 styler – ECB from T1, toop for both transactions will be abt $2.10

    • Anonymous

Slow week next week.  Sure am glad I used my ECBs that would expire next week this morning.  lol

      • Anonymous

        Me, too!

      • Anonymous

All weeks are slow. Couponing is definitely not as advantageous as it used to be!

    • I considered not even going this week, but I have TWO free coupons for Pantene, so I will make $1 ECB!!

      • I’m considering a similar scenario, but unsure if it will work… I have the one FREE coupon and the $3/2 coupon… Am I able to use both coupons on the purchase of two bottles?

      • I tried the same before on a free box of john freida hair dye and the ecb didnt print, and the cashier told me when you use “free coupons” you dont get the ecb. So not sure how true that is ??

        • Anonymous

I don’t see why it would matter; it is just another method of payment.  I think their registers are set up to see products bought, not how they were paid for.  Technically, with ECB, almost everything we buy there is ‘free’.  I also have two of them and am going this morning, so we’ll see.

    • Jeremy Goodson

      Hello All!

This is my very first post ever on a message board. I am also brand new to couponing. I am curious to know, for the Dawn that is $.99 and use towards the $10.00 gas purchase. Is it possible that I could use a $1.00 off Dawn PLUS coupon towards the regular Dawn? Do you think the coupon will work? Or will the Dawn PLUS coupon not work for Regular Dawn?

      Thanks so muh!

      • Anonymous

Jeremy, chances are that the Dawn PLUS is probably a little bit more expensive..and the coupon is higher value for a new/more expensive product right now.  Using it on the regular Dawn would be using the coupon incorrectly.  I have not checked on what’s on sale, and I don’t have the coupon, but if someone would back me up on this, that’d be great.  Now, if the Dawn PLUS is included, by all means, you can use the Dawn PLUS coupon!

        • Jeremy Goodson

          Hi!

Thank you very much for explaining that. Is there any way of knowing if the Dawn Plus is included? Or is the only way to find out is to try?

          • Anonymous

I think the only way to find out is to make a CVS run and see what’s included in the sale. If you go, let us know your findings! :)

            • Anonymous

I’ll definitely keep you posted! :-)

      • No, you should only use coupons for there intended products, this often includes specific items within a line and often certain sizes.  Many times a coupon will list restrictions too.  It is also the norm for 1 manuf Q per item, this is pretty much how it is everywhere, the only exception is a manuf  can often be used with store coupons, this is called “stacking”.

I highly recommend viewing all of the Southern Saver videos on You Tube, they are an excellent place to start, in fact wacth them a few times :)

        Good luck!

      • Anonymous

First of all, coupons should be used on items they are intended for. Doing otherwise for personal/monetary benefit may be construed as fraudulent. I am familiar with those Qs. The Plus one is higher value for more expensive product. So, you should not use the plus Q on regular one. Technically speaking, as of now, coupon coding and stores registers are not sophisticated enough to catch exact variety/size mentioned on Q and thus the Q you mentioned would go thru without a beep on regular variety.

        • Anonymous

Thank you also for explaining that in detail. It was just a question, and as mentioned earlier, I am new to this, but I definitely plan on abiding by all the rules, codes, and ethics of couponing. I have now learned the do’s & do nots of couponing, and thank you all very much again!

          • Krista Pickett

No worries, Jeremy! It will get easier as you go! My tip is just to pay close attention to what item the coupons are issued for to ensure that you’re picking up the right product. Just do your best and let us know if we can help–there are a lot of awesome couponers here that can answer your questions!

            • Anonymous

How nice & sweet of you Krista! That truly means a lot to me! Thanks so much again!!!

          • Anonymous

No problem!  I did not mean to sound harsh though! I just explain things how they are.  I do not bash anyone for whatever they do-I am not ethics police :)

              Hi Mysterious!

I’m fine. I’m a big boy. Lol. It was definitely constructive advice given, and I received it very well. Thanks for following up as well. But I think I got it now. Lol. I really do appreciate you explaining it thoroughly & in detail, so I’m good to go now!! I may even make you proud! Lol. Happy Couponing!!!

CVS has chex mix 10 for 10 will this item ring up 1 dollars per item.Got some coupons 50/1 and I don’t have 10 coupons.

      • It should, you do not need to buy 10 items to get that pricing.  I saw that coupon too, does the size match up on the coupon?  I kind of thought the 10/10$ was a smaller package (though never looked closely)  Also if you got the 20% off email, you should be able to use that as well.

    • Anonymous

I saw a B2G1 for the SoBe Water how would that work with the B1G1 deal?

    • Nicole Brennan

What if you got the 30% off end of summer savings coupon in the mail? Can you use that in combination with Man. Coupons or with ECB???

      • Yes, you can but if the item is on “sale” the 30% off will not apply.  There are deals that the items will generate an ECB (this week for example Burts Bees) and the % will come off your totat.  Soooo…when doing your transaction be sure to hand them the %/off coupon FIRST, manuf q next, and then any ECB if you are using to pay for the transaction.  I have found at times the %/off will also work on “clearance” items, those tagged with red stickers.

        • Anonymous

My % off coupons have never worked on sale or promotional items. Only items at regular price. But maybe I just haven’t gotten lucky yet.

        • Krista Pickett

yup, the key is the order in which you give them the coupons. ALWAYS do % or $$ off total BEFORE your other Qs to make sure the computer accepts it and to get the most value (for % off).

      two questions
first is the deal for this weeks buy 25 in bounty, charmin and or puffs a good deal if you have no ecbs to start with.
second can you return stuff to cvs if you dont a reciept for it if its health care medicine or pregnancy test stuff

It’s an odd week when I don’t plan a trip to CVS…’course, with the hurricane, I’ll be stuck at home Sat. and Sun. anyway probably.

    • Is it just me, or does it seem like my couponing trip aren’t that good anymore?  I am convinced it is that stupid show!!!

      • I agree – there used to always be something at CVS I would be excited about – but for the last couple of months, I have to pay attention or my ecbs expire…  I think it might be the show too – yuck!

      • Krista Pickett

some of it has to do with the show and otherwise it’s just the time of year. We’re going through a bit of a lull in the deals right now but they should be back up for good deals in the next couple of weeks!

    • Anonymous

This is kind of late in posting since the gas card deal for the summer is probably about over, but the worker at my CVS said that with the buy $30 in participating items, get $10 gas card, you don’t have to use the $10 you get back for a gas card.  Instead, you can just use it as regular ECB.  Just a tip in case anyone would rather have the reward in ECB instead of gas (that’s what I’m doing since in my mind the ECB’s go father than $10 in gas would!)

      • hmmm, I asked about that and they said you couldn’t, I wish the cashiers were better informed

      • hmmm, I asked about that and they said you couldn’t, I wish the cashiers were better informed

    • My local CVS said it had to be a gas card. I asked if I could just use it as ECB but they said no.

    • Anonymous

I went to one of my local CVS’s today and found an awesome surprise…all of their Pampers were around 50% off, $5.50 for the jumbo packs and $12.50 for the boxes!!!  This wasn’t advertised in their ad so I asked the cashier about it.  He said that their store has an “old-school” manager who likes to make up manager’s specials every now and then.  I thought this was great!  Has anyone else had this happen to them?

Why can I not find the upromise ecoupon for the Charmin and Bounty?  It’s not showing in the list of options to select from.

      • Anonymous

I noticed that too, but it was last month and expires at the end of this month, so if you already had it on your list, if you look a history, it will still be there.  It just doesn’t seem to be available anymore.  I had already used mine.

    • Anonymous

Why is the upromise ecoupon not showing up for the Charmin for Bounty?  Can anyone else see it in their selection when on their site?

    • Question, I am in the need for some olay skin care products. was thinking about getting the regenerist kit and facial care. 24.99 plus 18.99 and a 7.99 moisturizer This puts me at 51.97 before rewards and coupons. Does anyone know if I use th(2) $3 off and apply register rewards will olay still honor the $20 rebate if my out of pocket is under the $50?

      • I know I did it with coupons, still have not gotten my rebate but it has only been about 2 weeks since I sent it,  I got 3 Total Effects moisturizers and used 3/3.00 off coupons and about 15.00 in ECB to pay.  I am fully expecting a rebate :)

Don’t forget you will also get a bonus 5.00 ECB for spending 50.00 in beauty products if you are in the beauty club…which of course I am sure you are :)

      • Anonymous

I want to share a deal I think is awesome…it is actually for Rite Aid,but Jenny did not list the $20 Olay rebate in the Rite Aid ad for some reason, so I will post it here and in the Rite Aid section.  If you want to get the Olay rebate, Rite Aid is the place to do it. Rite Aid has a deal, receive $10 UPS when you purchase $30 of PG products (regenerist and others included).

The Regenerist moisterizer is on sale B1G1 50%. If the price is about $20 (its listed for $18.99 in CVS ad so I am estimating up).

        4 Olay Regenerist Moisterizers B1G1 50% (2 at $20, 2 at $10) = $60
        2 Secret deoderant B1G1 50% (1 at $5, 1 at $2.50) = $7.50 I estimated high on the price to be safe.
2 olay body wash $7.99 (up to, will be free)

        TOTAL before coupons = $75.49

        Use:
-(2) Free secret deoderant WYB regenerist moisterizer PG 8/28
-(2) Free Olay body wash WYB regenerist moisterizer RP 8/14
-(4) $3 off Olay regenerist facial moisterizer PG 7/31

TOTAL after coupons and rewards = $18 (deo. and wash is free, $12 in coupons, $10 UPS, $20 olay rebate)

$18 for 4 Olay Regenerist Moisterizers, 2 Secret Deoderants, 2 Olay body washes!!!!!!!!!!!!!

        • Anonymous

You can also use the free satin care shave gel wyb olay body wash. Score two free shave gels with this deal as well!!

          • Anonymous

Technically speaking, you can not. You have already used a “free” q towards bw, so no furter looping may be possible.

    • Anonymous

I’m new at this so please advise:
I have 2 cards I received in the mail for 1 free pantene shampoo or conditioner as well as a coupon for $1 off of the purchase of 2.  If I use that $1 off coupon, will it give me a credit balance to use toward other items purchased in that transaction?  Thanks for your help.

      • Anonymous

The cards you received for free Pantene ARE coupons so you will not be able to use the “free” coupons with the $1 off coupon.

        • If you buy two in the same transaction you can.  I did this deal today and used the free coupon which actually rang up as 4.99 off, then a 1.00 coupon.

      • Anonymous

No. Technically you can not use $1/2 Q on item that is also being used for free Q.

    • Anyone have any $5 Align coupons they wanna trade for???  I have beauty/lady product coupons I never use! ;)

    • Check your emails if you are signed up for the CVS Advisor Panel. I got a $2 ECB survey yesterday.

    • I need vitamins and would also like to take advantage of any gas deals I can get. Does anyone know whether I would get credit on the gas deal for 2 bottles of Sundown vitamins that are BOGO this week or would I just get credit for 1? Does that make sense?

      • You only get credit for what they charge you. That means that the tally goes by your before taxes & coupons total. You have to buy however many bottles of vitamins that would ring up to at least $30. I buy the gummy vitamins for my girls. They are usually about $7.49 when a deal like this comes along.  So I would have to buy EIGHT of them so that I can get charged for (4) of them and reach the $30 total.

      • Anonymous

You would get credit for 1 because only the actual price/sale price that is counted towards the deal. The sale price of your second bottle is $0.00.

    • I have a question….I am new to CVSing. If I purchase the B1G1 Osteo Bi flex, can I use two $7 off coupons??

      • Anonymous

yes, you should be able to use two coupons without a problem.

      • You are purchasing 2 Osteo Bi flex. 1 coupon per product should work.

    • Not thrilled with cvs deals the past few weeks. Wish some good deals would start rolling in.

      • Anonymous

They’ve definitely sucked the past 3-4 weeks for sure!

      Question, please help me out:
Old Spice bodywash on sale for:$3.49
      Old Spice deodorant (Gas card)
      I have 2 coupons
BOGO coupon-Buy one Old Spice bodywash get 1 deodorant free.
      $1off two old spice producs

Can i use 2 BOGO coupons and one $1off combined? Or how about 2BOGO and 2 $1off?

      • Anonymous

I think what you are presenting, then you have only these two options

        Option A
        a) Buy 1 OS bw
        b) Buy 1 OS deo
then you can only use that bogo applying towards the deo (to be free). No $1/2 Q can be used here.

        Option B
        a) Buy 2 OS bw
        b) Buy 2 OS deo

        Then you can use
        One  $1/2 OS product
Two  bogo Q on deo wyb bw

awesome CVS trip! Transaction #1: 1-St. Josephs Aspririn $2.00…used $1.00 manufacturers coupon and $1.00 ECB from last week made it FREE and earned $2.00 ECB. Transaction #2: 1 Olay Pro-x facial moisturizer $32.99, 1 Olay Regenerist facial moisturizer $18.99, 1 Olay body wash $6.99…used $5.00 Pro-x item, $3.00 Regenerist item, Free Olay body wash wyb olay regenerist and a CVS coupon printed from the coupon center for $5.00 off a $50.00 Olay purchase. Do all CVS stores have the same items on sale or available for ECBs each week? I ask because the store flyer that was in my paper did not show the RevitaLens solution as a $4 ECB deal. It’s actually not in the ad at all that I can find. Thanks!

I have been waiting for the Vidalia, GA CVS to get green bag tags since March! I stopped in today and they had 6 on the hook. I bought all six!

      • The are all the same number and you can only have it scanned once per day per card, I would consider returning 5 of them.  Why would you need six, just wondering?

        • Anonymous

he must be one of those that has multiple cards and its a multiple nononononon

          • Anonymous

Not that I’m condoning having multiple cards he still only needs one green tag. I share mine with my mom all the time when we shop together.

          • Anonymous

probably explains why the rest of us in vidalia can’t get any…and why the sale items are always gone. not nice LC – think about the rest of us

            • Anonymous

Not being ugly to anyone but a few months when the coupon center was spitting out free ones everyday, I got all of the ones that I had a coupon for.  Not to be greedy, because I know that I only need one but I did keep an extra one for myself in the case that the one that I use rips or something and the rest of them I gave to new couponers who were just beginning, kind of as a welcome to couponing present.

      • why do you need 6?, only one can be scanned per card per day.

        • Anonymous

You can have more than one greenbag tag per EC card.  I have two tags, one on each of my bags.  If you are doing multiple transactions per day you can scan one tag with one transaction and the other with the next.  I also use the same two greenbag tags with my husbands card.  The greenbag tags are tracked per EC card.

          • Anonymous

FYI:  Your greenbag is not linked to your EC card.  Your greenbag doesn’t take with the second transaction unless it is at a different store.  Just filling you in.  HTH

            • Anonymous

I’ve been using same greenbag tags on me and my husbands EC card for about a year now and I’ve gotten tons of $1 ECBs off it on both of our cards. The second transaction goes with my second tag (1 scan/tag/EC card/day).

      • Anonymous

They’ve been out since March because people buy SIX & can only use ONE. Good luck using all SIX.

      • Anonymous

A lot of people are quickly pulling the trigger on you: I am not. You probably bought them to attach to multiple bags; one you might be carrying in car, handbag etc. and sometimes you might be using different bags etc. ? None of my business though hw many you buy and what you do with them :)

      • JUST TO CLARIFY!!!!!
         i work at CVS!
you only need 1 green bag tag.! you can ONLY scan ur green bag tag 1 time a day PER CVS card.! Which means if u have SEPERATE cards you can use the SAME green bag tag for ALL of your cards.! At the end of the day you only need ONE green bag tag card.!

Did anyone else notice the Swiffer Wetjet starter kit for 14.99?  This seems like a good price plus the $5.oo q.

      • Anonymous

I used to use the wetjet until I realized it was ruining my hardwood floors.  I always purchased the fluid cleaner that was for hardwoods but it still stripped all the shine off my floors.

I have tons of coupons to trade. Grocery, beauty products, etc… I am looking for P & G booklets. I do not get them in my area :(

      • kouponkash.com sells the P&G booklets

      • Anonymous

I found mine in boxes of pampers. Works out great if you have a little one.

    • 2 things I noticed is that we have in my add claritin, allegra and zyrec on sale
for the gas card promotion and I dont think that they are listed above
also that my coupon for the dawn is for olay .dawn 75 cents off and
.50cents of dawn and that was in this weeks PG insert just something I noticed!

Quick question– If the RedBox were to give me a FREE (item) store coupon, can you stack M coupon on top?

      • I think so…

      • Anonymous

I don’t think so because you’re not paying for that item anyway.

      • Yes.

      • Anonymous

Ok there are two aspects to it

        a) Since CVS store free Q will supposedly bring the price down to $0.00, then you can not use manuf Q because “Q value(s) can not exceed the total price of item(s)”

        b) If you still go ahead and also scan the manuf Q then it will most likely go thru and will give you “overage” that you can apply on other items to absorb it.

    • FYI- My CVS has Huggies wipes 64 ct (in the box) unadvertised on sale for $1.59, orginal $3.19. If combined with the Huggies 50 cent off coupon from SS 8/14 would be $1.09. Or if you combine the 1 off coupon that prints from the red box, you get it for 9 cents!

    • ** HAS ANYONE TRIED THIS**
the Old Spice Body wash is on sale for $3.49
      OS deo. for $2.99
if u use Free OS deodorant WYB bodywash, max $5.49, excl trial size, PG 8/28
*** Does it take off the full $5.49*** If so there would be an overage on the Deo. Almost making it free…
I was going to try it tonight just wondering if anyone else did.

      • my local CVS will always take the full amount the b1g1f coupon has…so in my case, yes the overage could go to the deodorant…but i don’t know if all CVS work that way! =)

      • Anonymous

it depends, i went to a cvs today and used a free panteen coupon and they only took the sale price of 3.48 not the 4.99 that it maxed out on so i think it depends

      • since the cashier will have to key in the price, you should only get $3.49 off

      • Anonymous

It’s a hit or miss depending on employees how picky they are. In general, you will get only 2.99 taken off because that is what the price is. The coupon is for “upto” indicating the price variance on receipts. Just in case, keep a filler ready to absorb overage if you get full price deducted.

I did it this morning with no problem but I bought the gillette deodorent buy 1 get half off ($3.00/2 coupon ) then Gillette Body Wash (5.49) free w/ purchase of two Gillette Deodorants

    • Carrie

Someone please explain to me about the Beauty Club and do you have to sign up for it?  Thanks a bunch.

      • Anonymous

the way i understand it is every $50 you spend on beauty club items you get back $5ECB. I signed up at cvs.com. most anything in cosmetics & beauty aids apply in my experience.

      • Anonymous

yes you can sign up by registering on cvs.com…if you arent already registered, attach your ECB card number and also sign up for emails and you get coupons sent every now and then. there’s an option to sign up for the beauty club in your account

        • Dana

Could you post an example (maybe a picture) of an email that CVS sends out containing a “coupon”…I keep hearing of them e-mailing coupons, but all I see in my e-mail are CVS advertisement emails, it gets annoying…

      • Anonymous

just tell the cashier when you are checking out that you want to join the beauty club, they scan something and thats all you do.   Every time you spend $50.00 you will get a $5.00 ECB, that will show up on line at cvs.com or will also print out if you scan your card at the red box.  There is really no disadvantage to it.  I just joined a month ago and have already gotten two $5.00 off.  The great thing it is what you spend before coupons so it really doesn’t take long to spend $50

    • Anonymous

is there a way to not pay tax on items you have ‘free’ coupons for?

      • Anonymous

Only if you shop a store that taxes the total AFTER coupons.  I’ve found a couple stores in the Columbia, SC area that do this and I get out the door with zero out of pocket quite often. It’s awesome!!

You pay sales taxes on any amount exchanged. Manuf Qs are third party payment that works as cash just as if you were to pay by checks.  Only store Qs that works as discounts reduce taxes. Third party payments such as manuf Qs are taxable by law in all states except three; one of them I believe is TX. I would have a hard time believing that stores could have discretion to opt out of charging sales taxes

So I feel like I should rush out and purchase my $50.00 worth of the Olay Regenerist so that I can get the $20.00 rebate, but I was wondering, is it really worth the money?   Can anyone give me there opinion of the product.   I do use the basic pink Olay and love it but wasn’t sure the benefit of the other.   Any opinion from users of this product would be great.   thanks

      • Anonymous

I have blotchy uneven toned skin and the Olay Regenerist night resurfacing elixer is great for it.  I wake up to smooth skin. I also use the Regenerist serum for day instead of lotion because my skin is so oily.  It goes on really smooth and smells awesome.  I really like the stuff and with the 7/31 P&G coupons along with the CVS $5/$50, the Olay rebate and the the CVS Beauty Rewards and ECBs running this week, there’s potential for a really great deal.

      • Anonymous

I have not used it but my step mother LOVES IT!!.  After reading Sheila_P’s post, I may have to try it too. I had my children in my late 30’s early 40s and i’m tired of getting called “grandma”. LOL

    • hey everyone, i went to cvs and i did the scope deal but yo my surprise the blue scope  was priced at 1.12 with my .75m it came out to be 37 cents and i still got the 2 bucks back!!!

      Got back 10 GAS CARD
      Total cost = 9.42 + tax  for 5 tide (~1.88 each)
(note- my coupon for gas card printed for total of 29.70 )

      • How did you get the gas card coupon to print; did you do 2 separate transactions and it worked?  I have never tried to get the gas card so I didn’t know if it would still work after you use the coupons…

        • Anonymous

Hi Sarah! I do the gas purchase every week at CVS. I also do everything all in one transaction. You can do it in different transactions also. If you look at the bottom of your receipt, it will tell you how much you’ve spent towards your gas purchase, and also how much more you need to spend to get the $10 gas card.

What I do is gather $30’s worth of purchases, get to the counter, make sure the price rings up over $30, then give them the coupons. No matter what your out of pocket cost is after coupons, the gas receipt will print, because you originally hit the $30. Hope this helps!

          • Thanks so much Jeremy!  I will be going shortly to hopefully get my gas card :)

      • Happy37421

where are the $2.00 off tide coupons?

    • Was in CVS last night and noticed that the Cascade Dishwashing Packets (20ct) are on sell for $3.99. I have quiet a few $1 off MQ’s. Think this is a great deal for these. Thought I’d share!

      • Beth Anne Saves

OHH I may have to check that out. I haven’t seen Cascade go on sale so I’ve just been using my $1 off Q for the 3pack cascades but those aren’t going to last long..

      • Thanks for this–I bought 2 packs as I had 2 $1 off Qs.  Yay!

    • Rachel Bullman

Is it better to roll your ECBs in one day or save them up and use them?  I went with save them up and I am just wondering how next week will work out?!  I spent about thirty dollars to get 15 ECBs but kept them.  My plan is to go back next week and buy other ECB deals with coupons and my 15 bucks.  I this a good strategy?

      • Anonymous

I personally think this is a great strategy! I love to buy things that give me ECB’s, then use those ECB’s to purchase item next week on items that will give me more ECB’s. That way I’m never out of ECB’s. I am consistently recycling my ECB’s over & over!!!

      • Anonymous

THAT’S HOW I DO MINE AS IT KEEPS MY COST DOWN VERY LOW.  WHAT I TRY TO DO FOR INSTANCE IF I’M BUYING SOMETHING THAT WILL GIVE ME $5 ECB i WILL USE A $5 ECB I HAVE TOWARD THAT PURCHASE BECAUSE IT WILL TURN AROUND AND GIVE IT BACK TO ME LOL SO THEREFORE I CAN KEEP MY ECBS ROLLING

      • kori

I like to do a transaction of things that will give me ecb and then use them on 2nd transaction of things that will not give ecb.  that way i can use up as many as possible before i leave the store in case i don’t need them for a while.  otherwise, i’m the world’s worst to let them expire. :)

      • Anonymous

that is how i do it. i go to cvs every week and i only use the ECB on things that will print out more…and then every now and then i use them to buy something else if i have too many. this way i dont just spend my extra bucks to spend them and then have to use my own money when there is something i really want that would be free or cheap after extra bucks.

    • Rachel Bullman

I plan to do this every week!

    • Bardslovingwife

The Coke 2L are not on sale this week for 0.99, I went in to my CVS yesterday and asked and the employee told me that the sale for that was next week, and he gave me the new ad starting Sunday….wasn’t that nice.

    • Sprtgirl32

I got $5 ECB for doing the CVS Advisor Panel! Made me very happy! :) Check your emails!

      • These actually go up on Monday. So next week, check the website as soon as this week’s coupon expires. :-)

    • Bummer I have already made my CVS run for the week, but there is $4 off $20 CVS email you should receive today!!!! If not go to the website….Expires 9/4

      • These actually go up on Monday. So next week, check the website as soon as this week’s coupon expires. :-)

      • Dana

How do you spot the CVS COUPON e-mails? …Because the only emails I seem to receive from cvs are advertisements; I don’t recal a specific email stating a percentage off coupon I also thought I sent a 25% savings to my card, by signing up for the beauty club, but it wasn’t mentioned (by cashier) on any of my recent checkouts; How do I find out if a discount was applied?  I also got a cvs coupon printed out from the machine (a week of so, ago) for 25% next purchase), but no bar-code to scan…how did this apply?

    • I also love, LOVE the fact that you can send the coupons to your card and not have to print…I have noticed this the last two coupons they have sent…Is this a new feature and i wonder will it carry over to all of there store coupons?

        Hi Orange Beach!

This is news to me! Could you please explain how this works? Thanks!

        • Orange Beach

The $4 off $20 coupon gave me the option to print or send to my card…it stated the next time I visited CVS it would use the coupon…Last week it did the same with 20% of coupon they had….You should see this option as well when you log into your extracare card account online….I just hope that this rolls over to their other coupons as well…like esavingstar or uppromise

          • Anonymous

            Hi Orange!

Thanks so much for explaining that to me. I had no idea that was even possible. It makes total since now that you’ve said it. I’m going try it out today, and let you know! Thanks again!!

            • C~~

@jeremy – This may be helpful to you as well – I use another very good coupon savings blog that lists only CVS deals and also many helpful tips. It’s simplycvsshopping (dot) com.  And also, don’t forget to visit the CVS website on ocassion, sometimes they list a few of their own in-store coupons.  Hope this helps.  :)

    • Mimilou55

I found a CVS that was accepting expired extrabucks & mfg. coupons.  I haven’t been in this store for a mth. until this past SAT.  This CVS isn’t taking them anymore. Does anybody know if there’s a store in, NE Ga or, SW SC that will take expired q’s  I’m 25 mins. from a CVS & it’s hard to get there every week.  T/Y :)

      • Lanpn05

I just found out that the CVS in Albany, Ga takes expired extra bucks.  They honored mine yesterday

    • Anonymous

Something is up with the $10 ECB’s for spending $30 on CVS products….for instance. I spent $30 last week and it did not print so the manager manually printed it out for me. She explained that some of the handsoap I purchased it was not part of the deal but they had mistakenly included it as part of the deal.  This week I purchased a CVS mouthwash that was on clearance for $.99 and I got 10 ECB’s, I looked at the receipt and it read $29.33 so with the clearance mouthwash it hit over $30 and printed again. Now I’m looking at my receipt and it’s reading $29.73 and I only need .27 to get another $10 ECB’s —-

My shopping for today will be:

      (2) Bounty Paper towels = $11.68
      (1) Charmin TP = $5.84
      (1) Duracell Batteries = $9.99

      Total: $27.51

      – $10 ECB’s from prev
      – $4 off of $20
      – .50 from 2 Bounty PT
      – .50 from Duracell batteries
      – .25 from Charmin

      Total OOP: $12.26
      Receive $10 Gas Card

      Total $ 2.26 plus tax

And no, I’m not going to try for another 10 ECB’s even if the receipt reads the way it does, that’s just greedy.

      • kellyhouse

Typically the ECB will print if your total is within a few cents of the mark.  Your receipt will read that you need to spend those few cents more to receive the ECB, but you’ve aleady received it.  If you spend those few cents, it will not print an ECB because it has already given you the ECB. In your case, you were too far from the $30 to get it the first time due to the items not qualifying as far as the register knows.  So, the manager printed one for you.  The register didn’t know that and printed the “get $10 wyb $30”-ECB since it knows $29.73 is practically $30.  It won’t print another one if you spend 27¢.  hth

    • In Honea Path, SC, the gas rewards already started over for the next week today. Luckily I had my reciept from earlier in the week and the manager there was very nice and gave me my gas card and sent an email to his district manager about the glitch in the system. Watch your balance closely!

Just went to shop at cvs for next works ad. Got 3 packs of huggies slip on diapers 1 pack of huggies jeans diapers, a double pack of toothpicks, a triple packs of chip clips 2 skintamate shave creams, 2 hersheys singles, and a pack of carefree pads. Idk what the total before coupons was as I did this in 3 transactions.
      Coupons I used:
3 $2 off huggies slip on cvs q
3 $3 off huggies slip on diapers
1 $4 off huggies jean diapers cvs
      1 $1.50 off huggies
      B1g1 hersheys
      2 $1 off skintamate cvs q

Got $1.00 ecb for carefree and .99 for hersheys
Spent $15 oop not to shabby considering 1 pack of diapers there will normally run you $12

    • I’m really disappointed in the CVS nearest me. They are always really late putting up the current ad’s prices, and I’ve gotten a lot of attitude from the clerks when I try to do multiple transactions to use ECBs. :-( Today I was going to try and get some of the multi-pack Colgate toothbrushes for free after ECBs to donate to a homeless ministry, but they weren’t priced as low as I thought they would be. So, for my whole trip I only got the free Dove bar that printed out and a Suave deodorant on sale for 0.99 that I got with ECBs from last week. Oh well.
