I signed up a few months ago and it's fun for the red fun coupon machine to spit out that you have 5 ECB's b/c you've spent 50!

    • Jennpruett

When it says excludes “sale items” does that mean items you get ECB's when you purchase? ie. Buy 1 Revlon hair color 7.99, get $2 ECB….I wonder

      • Joapha

I've tried that before, but it didn't work. It didn't work as an item in a batched deal either (5$ ecb with $20 purchase). But it's worth trying!

      • Klynn

I signed up a couple of months ago. Everything I bought was on sale and with ECBs. It added all of mine. Saved $15 off my first purchase and have received (3) $5 ECBs since. It will show your total on the bottom of the receipt so you know where you are.

      • fatorfan

Mine also “said excludes sale items,” but I went in yesterday to take advantage of the Revlon ECB offer (two Revlon makeup items for $7 ECB) and it worked! I also used my 10% off coupon for this purchase, as I just signed up and got the email the day before.

    • ClaraL.

I don't see where it says excludes “sale items”… I signed up today and at the bottom of the congratulations page this is what it said……. *The ExtraCare Beauty Club is not available in Hawaii. 10% off shopping pass offer excludes CVS employees. Your ExtraBucks® reward will print on your receipt two days following qualifying purchase(s). Qualifying Beauty purchases include items from the following categories: Cosmetics, Ethnic Hair Care, Fragrances, Hair Accessories, Hair Appliances, Hair Care, Hair Color, Healthy Skin Care, Hosiery, Skin Care and Sun Care. Excludes items from Beauty 360, items from Trial & Travel, gift cards and prescriptions. CVS/pharmacy reserves the right to modify or terminate the ExtraCare Beauty Club without notice.

I am I missing something what do you mean by “sale items” was it somewhere else on the site? just wondering but it sounds great!!!!

I had sales item count since I been part of the program. We have had this in Atlanta for several months already.

    • tori729

Cool, I wish I had known of this sooner!

    • GaKristen

I also signed up a few months ago and everything I buy is either on sale or onsale with ECBs issued. Yesterday I went in to get the Wisk deal and scanned my card. It spit out a $15 ECB for beauty rewards among other things. I got the Wisk without spending anything but tax! That's a deal!

    • Kennemere

I did this but didn't get the 10% off beauty care item email.

      • Lisa H

Mine printed right on the bottom of my purchase receipt…unfortunately I thought it would apply to my purchase, but was just a coupon off my next purchase. Otherwise I would have bought 1 item, got the 10% off coupon, then the rest on my items.

    • Natalie559

      This is great thanks!!

    • Jbush27

I did this a while back, forgot about it and a couple weeks ago the machine spit out $5 ecb's. I Only buy sales items and ecb's and I thought that there was no way I spent $50 in beauty care items already, but I guess I did.

      • me too…. didn't even realize that i'd hit the $50 mark until the ECB printed. it was a nice surprise.

    • Cheryl

Wow, this is great timing! Next weekend is my birthday so I will get $3 ECB with out even purchasing anything. WhoooHooo!

    • Lisa H

I was saving my Loreal makeup coupons hoping a good sale would come up. I purchase over 50 items that were all marked down 50-75% off. After coupons, I paid $68, with a savings of $496. Had I read the fine print, I would have purchased one item, received the 10% off coupon, and tried to get more of a discount. I did get $10 ECB's for buying Loreal items, and another $5.00 one should be printing for spending over $50. Netted togther that's $53 for over 50 items! Blessings!

Evidently I can not follow directions – I went to CVS today and thought I understood the ECB buying but evidently I don't. I did save $7.00 but the bottom of my receipt says I needed $5.00 to earn this reward. How can that be when I spent $30.46 after coupons totaling $7.50? Can someone explain to me what I did wrong? Please! thx.
