      • lynn

check the listerine all of mine that i printed this week expire on 11/23 (today) won’t be good tomorrow. my cvs is not starting the sales early this week because the as is so big. 8:00 am tomorrow though i am there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

    • Shylon Ray

Thanks Jenny for all these wonderful lists. I am new with CVS, I’ve watched the video and it is great. I only have one question for you or anyone, If for example I do scenario #1 and get back $11.08 ECB, do I have to use all in the next transaction? This is where I get a little confused. Thanks again.

      • Thom1977

In Jenny’s scenario you would NOT use all of the ECBs. You would still have your .99 ECB left over.

    • Thom1977

For the first time I am going into this sale with ECBs in my pocket. So I think I can get it all in 3 transactions and not my normal 9. This makes me so happy!

    • Jess Dailey Hammonds

Thanks!!! It is all a little overwhelming but hopefully I can handle it!

    • cgmaynard

There’s also a visine manu coupon for 3/1 on facebook.

    • Jeffy Walker

Jenny please look at the add again, mine says 2/3 for the sarbucks and get back 3 ecb’s!

    • Bj

      Hi Jenny,
I am trying to create an account using my e-mail address and only at this point am I having problems. When I try to type in my e-mail address the j in bj will show up as bi. I have checked my keyboard and it seems fine. This only happens when I try to create an account.

      Bj

      • Jeffy Walker

My 2/1 Listire MW IP expieres 12/13/13

            • claudia

what doea mean Get Back: $12.53 ECB that mean print the receipt or for the machine from the coupon?

      • Thom1977

Both of mine expire on the 23rd. However, my 24 hour store will start their sale after 6pm on the 23rd. So I will have a chance to use it! Call your store(s) to find when their sale starts.

    • Juan Grande

I luvs me some CVS Black Friday on Sunday.

As it is near Thanksgiving, never too early to throw some thanks to Jenny for all the hard work!

      • me

        ????????

        • Juan Grande

Most of the better ECB deals start on Sunday. Is this what you were asking?

        • bj

You are so right! Thanks to Jenny for sharing with others. I am so grateful for her and this site. Now I am able to share by giving to others. It is a blessing to be able to bless others. HAPPY THANKSGIVING JENNY!!!

    • ireneY

I have a few ECBs to start with so my plan is somewhat backwards from Jenny’s. I’ll get the probiotic and stress relief first so I won’t be left holding the big ECBs at the end. They are harder to use up later.

      • WC08

That’s a good idea. I may do the same!

    • Sherry

When I hit create list- it is not pulling up the list to print. Just a blank page! Help– btw this is a great list this year!

      • Are you logged in?

        • Sherry

I wasn’t but I never log in. I have been coming to southernsavers.com for a few years now too.

    • claudia

what does mean Get Back: $12.53 ECB that mean print the receipt or for the machine from the coupon?
      what mean ECB?

      • ECB stands for Extra Care Bucks.

It means that you will get $12.53 in Extra Bucks from the register after your purchase, if you purchase all of the qualifying items in transaction #2.

        • claudia

          thanks

          • claudia

so when you do the others transaction u don’t need coupon

            • You will need the coupons that go with the other transactions if you want to get the deals and the extra bucks. :) HTH!

            • claudia

so just for the first transaction we need the coupon

            • Never_Speechless

You can use coupons on ANY transaction if you have them. Just follow her directions and you will see how it works.

        • claudia

so when you do the others transaction u don’t need coupon
          only number 1 transaction

    • claudia

what does mean Get Back: $12.53 ECB that mean print the receipt or for the machine from the coupon?
      what mean ECB?

    • Bj

      Sherry
The same thing happened to me and I tried to create an account by using my e-mail but I couldn’t log in

      • Sherry

I just created an account (first time even though I have been accessing this site for a few years) and that did fix my problem. Maybe they just changed something.

    • claudia

so when you do the others transaction u don’t need coupon just number 1

    • Bj

I can’t log in with my email address

    • kim

I am trying to print your ideas but it is just a blank page. Please help! Thank you!!! and thank you for the lists and ideas :) and everything you do.

      • ashleigh

You can always copy and paste into a Word doc. The hyperlinks to coupons will remain active.

    • Audra Lewis

Kim I am having the same printing problem..:(

    • Tonya Sanes Maners

I printed a cvs cpn for the visine but you can go to their website and print a manf too. http://www.visine.com/coupons-and-special-offers

    • Karen

The Visine coupon expires on the 27th-the day BEFORE Thanksgiving so we won’t be able to use that one…

      • Don’t forget that these deals all start tomorrow 11/24

    • Claudia Cruz

yay, I love me some black Friday Deals! I am going into this with $12 Ecbs! But I don’t plan on getting everything, I don’t have use for a few items although they are free. but if i was to get them where could i donate them at?

    • Lauren Tucker

Just hit up my local CVS. I got $74.54 worth of product for $31.47. 60% savings. That included a few extras that’s not on the list above. Thanks Jenny for sharing all your knowledge!!

    • crownstar

Sparkle: The paper roll for $1 is ringing up as a limit of 2; not 1. I bought 2 and got back 2 ECBs…used b1g1 free coupon and paid $1 and got back $2.
Nivea lip care: Its not part of ECBs sale but my store had the lip butter and the balms with 2 in each pack and they are on sale 2/$5. Use the $3/2 coupon in todays paper makes each them .25 cents each. These regularly go for $3.00+ EACH…The lip butters really are great and also good stocking stuffers! Use some of the ECBs from another deal and they are free too! They had this same deal a few weeks ago with the same coupon….

      • Juan Grande

        Good point on Sparkle.

Also showing up with limit 2 were the GUM toothbrushes and Kraft Mac & Cheese. I am gonna go back for more of those, along with the batteries on Thursday.

The one item they got me on was the multipac Colgate toothbrushes. No ECBs for the travel size. They had got me on this once before but I had forgotten.

Great trip altogether – thought I might break their receipt printer!

        • dtcox1

please check your add ours says sunday thur wed on kraft and toothbrushes ok and sparkle

          • Juan Grande
          • Juan Grande

I replied to this with a screencast of the Sunday receipt and ECBs so you can see for yourself, but since the screencasts appear via URL link (I use Techsmith), they are subject to manager approval. Those links will be visible for you once approved.

      • mom

how do you get it for 0.25 each? if they are 2/5 minus 3/2=2 or 1dollar each. can you explain please?

        • crownstar

my error…I bought 4 packs and miscounted. You are correct the total is $1 per pack….however if you purchase the one with 2 in each pack it comes out to only 50 cents per lip balm….not 25 cents. These lip balms and butters go for $3 EACH…still a great deal even if you can’t find the ones with 2 in each pack.

    • Jimmy Turner

rang up $52.25 at CVS this morning. after coupons and deals total was $14.98. got back $17.75 in ECB’s. awesome. thanks for your site. keep up the great work!

    • ams

My Listerine pocketpaks $2 coupon expired yesterday (11/23).

    • Holly

My CVS is no longer gives next week ECB on Satuday evenings prior to the sales starting on Sunday. They’ve also started delaying the time that they “roll-over” to the new sale on Saturdays. Used to be around 4:00 pm and now it is after 6:00 pm. They have a new system that will also help catch expired coupons or coupons from same manufacturer but different product than the one purchased. These changes are fine with me and will help us all with our couponing.

This sale was great and I was able to get free things for my family and for donations! Love the limits which give everyone a chance to get the sales items. Thanks CVS!!!!!

    • joanne

my cvs store took the Listerine coupons that expired yesterday when I shopped there this morning:)

    • fred

thanks for all the great tips I got 21 of the free things and my oop was 5.83.

    • dtcox1

thanks jenny and cvs for doing this every year. got all but one freebe didnt come in yet.paid 18.80 with my coupons got coffee and a small ham to make my 10.00 off 50.00 got 40.13 back in bucks love it ….ps this helps two familes ..

    • floptician

Be careful with the Visine deal. The $4.00 cvs store coupon that you can print rang up as a $4.00 sale. I had the store manager checking me out and she caught it.

      • Juan Grande

I had the same issue. Luckily the sales clerk was proficient enough with the system to get it through, after several aborted tries.

    • Sissy

Do all these deals END on Wednesday? That is how it appears to read on my weekly ad??

    • Dolly S Carver

Jenny have you heard of the prepaid card deal. I am trying to see if it works in this area. You put $150 on a master card and get $50 reward bucks. Can anyone help?

      • Sissy

yes, it is a paypal mastercard. You must get $150.00, there is a $4.95 activation fee, BUT you get $50.00 back in ECB!! That’s a $45 MoneyMaker!!
You can read about it at cvs.com

      • Josh

Yes, it worked in the Charlotte Market. If you buy a PayPal Mastercard Giftcard, you get $50 in Extrabucks. Wasn’t advertised or tagged in the store.

Note: The store I went to required you to pay by cash though and you cannot use EBs in buying the Giftcard.

        • linda

you only have to buy one? This must be a glitch

    • Becky

Went to CVS today and I got 11 items, used $14.50 in coupons and $10 in ECB. OOP was $8.81 and I saved $38.04! that’s 82% savings or 88 cents each item! and I got $15.65 back in ECB!!! My best yet! Thanks Jenny!

    • Kristi

I followed the 4 transaction scenarios almost exactly and paid less than $5 oop for 2 big bags of stuff (I started with some ECBs already) so basically just paid tax- on the first transaction I didn’t get the Listerine because I didn’t have that coupon, but I did add the travel size Colgate pack (4) that rang up as the multipack so I only paid .29 for them after the $3 ECB. I did the next 3 transactions then for my 5th transaction I did the Schick razor deal. I actually saved a bit more money on this than the deal that was posted because I got the Schick Extreme 3 sensitive (B1G1) and it was $8.99 each. Then I found a can of shave gel that had a $1.50 coupon on it so that was better than my $1 off 2. I ended up paying $1.37 each I think and left with $10 ECBs from this. I was surprised that there was only 1 more lady in the CVS with me this morning.

    • Liz

      Updates I discovered today:
-My add for the Listerine pocketpaks was $2.99 but you only got back $2ECB. Limit was still 2.
-Sparkle paper towels could be done twice!
      -Mac&Cheese could be done twice!
-And, I tried the Colgate multipack of toothbrushes from the travel section at 2.99 for the $3ECB deal and they don’t work for it. I had a great cashier who gave it to me anyways because she didn’t understand why it wouldn’t work either. Just a heads up!

      • Liz

Oh, and the GUM toothbrush 2pk is a limit 2 deal, not limit 1.

        • Jeffy Walker

The GUM for my region is more than a limit of 2. It want to say limit of 3, but could be more..

    • Melanie

is there a specific zip code for the visine? I couldn’t locate it through the link?

    • Crystal Briley Scroggs

I got 19 of the items on the ad list. I spent $16.11 for products valued at $68 for a 76% savings. I went in with $12 ECBs and got $32.02 ECB back after three transactions. I did wait in line to get my deals three times as not to hold up the line.

My store was out of the Total Home detergent and Advil film coated 4ct. They substituted with All detergent 50 oz and CVS ibuprofen 10 ct. They did have to manually print the ECBs at the end of the transaction however. This was very nice of them to offer other items instead of giving rain checks. They were very understanding and were so amazed at how much I got for what I paid.

I will say to watch out for new hires over the next few weeks. My first cashier was new and did not know the coupon policy and had no idea about what the sales were much less where they were. I ended up working with the on duty manager. This usually helps the process go better and faster. :)

    • Becky

Gotta love CVS! Spent $18.05 for $92.29 worth of stuff and still have $14.13 left in ECBs. So total spent was $3.92. Almost all freebies plus a couple needed items. My CVS accepts store coupons up to 30 days expired. Love learning new ways to save money!

    • Claudia Cruz

did any one get there Kraft Mac n Cheese coupon in the mail for the free box??? Well I did and I got it right on time for this Kraft Mac n Cheese Deal!!! I did not have to pay for the box of Kraft Mac n Cheese and still got a $1 ecb for buying it!!!

    • Melissa

I had $10 ECB and spent it before work, got $10 back and did it again after work today! Very happy! (numbers aren’t exact, obviously…but I spent under a dollar total). Really considering the paypal debit card though…seems like a great deal. It can be used anywhere, correct?

    • lala

can i still do this transaction on 29

      • VP22

No, this one is from the 24th-27th

    • dtcox1

just love my cvs and jenny always do good with jennys site .p.s. you can find a lot of groc. there cheap with coupons in v a they keep adding more and more .

    • Bean

Jenny, where is the $4 off Visine coupon code? Which zip?

    • TnBikerGal

some of the same items are in the ad fo 11/28-11/30… if I got the deal on the previous ad (11/24-11/27) can I still do it on the new ad?

    • Juan Grande

The Thursday CVS flier in the local fishwrap for the Thurs-Sat deals (Nov 28-30) has a 30% Shopping Pass across the top.

    • Jennifer Sumner

Beware – My CVS in Dalton, Ga now has a sign that says “Limit of 2 transactions per customer”. Be ready to go to the end of the line or bring a friend!

      • Jeffy Walker

That is not problem. I think it should have been practiced more!!

    • K-girl

Only 1 or 2 things that were on sale Sun-Wed were actually on sale at our local CVS. The Black Friday flier had all sales listed. I was saving my coupons for today and got gipped :/

    • Ifer Waugh

Jenny, I had the same experience as K-girl. Shopped the whole thing and they said no it ended WED.

    • tina hubbard

4 of my extra care bucks did not print and 2 other items were priced 1AND 2 higher than add so i did not buy them. always seem to have this prolem at my cvs but shopping trip at walgreens went fine

    • BD

I was so excited to take my sister and show her how to use SS lists. Was soooo disappointed to find that SS got this so wrong! Almost all of these items were no longer on sale — this list of sales expired on Wednesday and was not Black Friday items at all!! Really got this one wrong.
