On the razor scenario, all I see is $5 ECB on the Venus Razor. Is the other $5 ECB on the CVS brand? If so, it’s not listed in my sale ad for this week.

      • The $5 on the housebrand is an unadvertised deal that is working in all areas. It’s on the main list of CVS deals for the week on Southern Savers, but you won’t see it in the ad.

    • Amber

My CVS wouldn’t let me use the $5 CVS razor coupon. Somehow the computer told them I would owe less than $5 on the razor after the ECB.

      • canes1999

false, the computer wont tell them that, that cashier lied to you

        • VP22

Not false. The same thing happened to me last week. There was some type of glitch in the system and it kept reading the coupon wrong. The manager tried several times, scanning and entering it manually. I actually had to call customer service and they told the manager what to do to straighten it out.

          • canes1999

It is false the computer won’t tell them that, it might reject a coupon, but not for the reason stated

            • VP22

Actually, I still disagree. It’s not false. If I hadn’t seen it with my own two eyes I would probably agree with you but when it happened, the manager showed me the screen. No, it’s not normal but there was something funky with the way the computer was reading that particular coupon.

      • VP22

Call customer service. I had the same issue and they took care of it.

    • Sareana

At my CVS, the $5 ECB tag was not listed on the $6.99 Venus razor (the most basic model) only the fancier, more expensive models. Can anyone verify that the $5 ECB will print for the regular Venus razor, the least expensive one with no frills? I want to try this deal but am afraid that my ECBs will not print correctly.

      • Patty

My local CVS did not have a tag on the $6.99 venus razor either, I bought it anyway and got the $5 ECB.

      • Very rarely is it marked, but it’s always included :)

      • Sareana

Thank you for the replies! I’ll definitely try it!

    • Tiffany

How can you use the two CVS coupons together? You’d have to double dip because the $5 goes toward the cvs razor and the gillette razor isn’t $10 by itself.

      • NancyAlexis

The $4 q is off the TOTAL razor purchase. The $5 q is off CVS razor ALONE. It’s not really double dipping because of how CVS worded the coupons. I have done several scenarios similar to this one and never had a problem.

    • kimberly

The magic machine at my CVS wasn’t working yesterday :( and they were out of scope, snickers and pantene. I got many rainchecks which is okay but this was a disappointing trip because nothing was going right. I still love CVS anyway though. Also they put less diapers in the package! Size 1 pampers now has 35 diapers instead of 40 :(

    • Adeem

wouldn’t you get $10 ecb back on the second transaction? if you buy 2 of each, then it would be $6 ecb from toothpaste and $4 ecb from toothbrush
      OOPS ! never mind (=

has any one else heard of more changes at cvs with coupons, the ladies that work at my local cvs in va said cvs is now verifying all coupons through there system, but what is funny is I was using a manufactures coupon that didn’t run out until December and the “system” said it was expired

      • Mariel

My gas-x beeped too and they wouldn’t push through. Product matched and it doesn’t expire till December either.

    • dtcox1

at my v a cvs today they have new set-ups too …it took a long time to ver. all my coupons when it did it was less than i thought a surprize for me looked at my ticket half- way down says now on it i saved 100 percent then went to get one bottle of meds it says saved 93 percent today ….. they are really keeping up with us now ha ha
