Check your email! This morning CVS sent me $3 Extrabucks, just because… They expire 6/05, so you have to use them quickly!

      • momof3

I also got a $7 off $35 beauty purchase. Could i use that with the $2 off $12 cosmetic?

        • Katie P

Nope. It says on the coupon “This offer cannot be combined with any other money off a certain purchase amount coupon”. What you can use it with is something like “$5.00/2 Almay Color Cosmetics”.

    • Allyson

I got the $3 Extrabucks too. Can I use them for the Loreal purchase? Will I still get the $4 ECB?

      • Kayla Starrett

Yes, you will still get the $4 extra bucks :)

      • Claudia Cruz

if you use the ecb on something else that is also giving out ecb you will still get them just as long as you purchase what is needed to receive the ecbs

    • lrose57

I got the 3 ecb’s and the 5 off of $25 beauty coupon… there is also a deal on the tena pads in the aisle…(use them like Kotex!) there is 3 ecb’s when you buy one and they are $3.79 with a $1 manuf coupon in the aisle too… free pads! So I used the 3 ecb’s and the $1 manuf coupon and made .21 on these…so I used the .24 coupon on the Pepsi and got the pads and the Pepsi for a total of .44 not bad!

    • Meme007

I am going to combine the Huggies deal and the Almay deal. That way I can use the $10/$50 CVS Q. I have received two at a time lately. I will have a total of $24 off the Huggies ($10 (off $50), (3) $3 mft Q’s, $5/$25 baby care, then get back $10 ECB’s. The Almay purchase should be paid with coupons. $3/$10 cosmetic CVS, $5/2 Almay, $4 mft. Q’s. I am starting out with $9.75 worth ECB’s. So shouldn’t be OOP any.

When I roll my deals I try to get back as much ECB value as I used on the purchase. It doesn’t always work out but I think it is a good rule for me.

When I have asked which coupons go together, the cashiers themselves reach and get the ones I mentioned. So I am not trying to pull something or use the coupons fraudulently. Usually the manager is who checks me out over to the side. She knows I get confused and is very helpful. Hope some of these tips help others.

      • Amie

I’ve never been able to combine the $10/50 (or like) with the $5/25 baby care or $3/10 cosmetic coupons. When I tried in the past, it beeped and the manager read the small print which indicated they could not be combined. I wonder… has this has changed or does the manager over-ride them?

        • Rachel

All of the $ off $$ purchase coupons state can’t be combined with other $ off $$ purchases. So technically they don’t work. The register does beep. So if someone is able to use them together, the mgr would have to override it and go against coupon policy.

          • Meme007

The way it was explained to me is this: I can’t use two $/$$ coupons together but if the other coupons are specific to certain items (such as the baby care or cosmetics) they can be used in the same transaction. This may be a liberal use of the coupons but that is what has been happening in my neck of the woods. I shop at four different CVS stores according to the area of town I am doing other errands. They have all used the coupons that way. Hope I am not stepping on anyone’s toes. That is just the way it has been working for me.

        • VP22

I have always read that they could all be used but that you would have to satisfy the terms of each individual coupon. Meaning your total would have to be the $50 worth of general merchandise + $25 worth of baby care + $10 worth of cosmetics = $85 total merchandise.

        • Claudia Cruz

My store is so nice I used the 4 off 20 and the 5 of 25 baby care also together, my cashier was so nice to let me do that!

    • jbmc09

Can you use a $2/1 Huggies CVS store coupon and the $3/1 Huggies manufacturer’s coupon together? Then also use the $5/$25 baby coupon from the kiosk and the $3 ECB sent in the email this morning? Just wanted to check before I go in and try tomorrow.

      • Amie

        Yes.

      • Becky

i tried using the cvs coupon for $2 off pullups and a manufacturer. i was told i couldnt do it. mgr said the cvs coupon was really a mfr coupon.

    • Amie

I wish I’d gotten the $5/25 baby purchase coupon, but no such luck. I was going to hold off until Thursday with the hope that I would get a $5/30 email coupon (or something similar), but I decided to go ahead with the $3 ECBs emailed today since it expires on the 5th. I bought 3 Huggies and 1 Pepsi 2 liter. I used $3 emailed ECB, 3x $3 off Huggies coupons, .24 off Pepsi coupon, and $10.75 ECBs from prior week. It cost $8 before tax and I got $10 ECBs back. I’m so glad that CVS offers such great diaper deals. I’ve got 2 in training pants at night and a baby due in August. I am almost all stocked on Stage 1 and I’ve stocked a few mos of training pants. :)

      • Claudia Cruz

I am lucky I got it! and next week I am planning on buying my diapers!

    • Melissa Collins Ready

I’m new to this… what is ECB

        Extra Care Bucks.

Read this and watch it; it will help! :)

ECB are Extra Care Bucks. Sometimes when you buy an item CVS will give you back ECB’s in varying amounts. For instance, you may see that if you buy $10 in Loreal cosmetics they will give you $3 ECB at the register. So, when you take your products and check out, the cashier will hand you those $3 in the form of a ‘coupon’ towards your next purchase. Use it like cash to buy other items that will also give you ECB. We call this ‘rolling’ your ECB.

ECB=Extra Care Bucks. You earn them for buying certain products. They are just like money but can only be used at CVS.
