Your first mission in CVS is to always start at the Coupon Center.  It is going to give you more coupons to use on this trip, or to save and use on a future trip.  This is a big week for deals, with an awesome deal on diapers and household paper products. If you are already there, stocking up, scan your card for even more deals!

Here’s what people are getting this week from the machine:

The coupon machine at our local CVS is always out of commission. It is so aggravating because I love shopping there and couponing. Does anyone have any suggestions?

      • Lyne

You can ask the cashier. She will scan your card. You will get your coupons there. Have experienced the same problem before

      • Sheri

I’d ask the manager/complain to the manager. Often it just needs to be refillled with paper and the cashiers have no idea how to do it.

      • mlw1ofakind

If asking the cashiers and the manager does not work first, you can always call corperate or fill out one of those surveys. It will definately get fixed then because they(that paticular store) get fined for every complaint they get. I would only do that as a last resort though.

      • jennzy2

I mentioned it in one of the surveys they send to my email and it has been better since.

It is a mechanical problem and happens all the time. When is is broken they won’t fix it for months at a time. The nearest CVS to that one is about thirty minutes, and can’t afford to drive to that one unless I am going that way for another reason. It stinks because I am missing out on so many great coupons. I will ask the cashier the next time I go in there if they can print them from the register.

I don’t know if they will allow clerks to print but I do know that you can get your offers by signing in to cvs.com and setting up your online account, it asks your name, addy, card #, etc. and each week you can logon and print your offers on your computer. I do this for each of my cards, they are each tied to a different email addy.

if i keep scanning my card, do different ones print out? or how do i get the other ones? (new to cvs and trying to learn!)

      • spi_cy13

        Aak1231,

Yes, you are correct. When I use the Extra Care Coupon Center at any CVS, I just keep scanning my card until the machine says “no more coupons”. The ones you get do vary. It’s based on past spending and whatever coupons CVS wants to give people. Happy Shopping! :)

      • Tami

you keep scanning your card until it says no more coupons available mine varies for the most it does it twice sometime three times. And yes they are different coupons not the same

    • Deirdre

Do you typically need to buy specific items that week to get the related coupon? I’ve bought a lot of beauty/feminine/skin products in the past 2 weeks. I only got the Coke coupon today and it made me sad LOL.

      • mlw1ofakind

I think that thing has mood swings sometimes. I have been and it spit out 10 coupons in 1 day and also had it only give me 1. Maybe we need to pet it and tell it good boy before we scan our cards :P

      • Stacey

        You can scan it twice

        • Tami

keep scanning it until it says no more coupons available they are different coupons that print.

          • Deirdre

I had no idea, thank you!! I’ll drop back in tomorrow :)

            • Deirdre

haha boooo it told me it was out of coupons on the second scan!

    • Jeffy Walker

I think I have been buy beaty and other stuff for the last month and have not been getting the good coupons.

      • VP22

Well I have been buying beauty and other stuff and I still have not been getting the good coupons. 1 week I was getting all the good ones and the next week it just stopped. It has been about 3 months now.

    • Didn’t know if others knew this, but I was told by my CVS that CVS coupons don’t actually expire. They have expirations on them, but they are still good to use. I have used ones that expired months ago for current deals.

    • kaoscasa

Bummed……..just got the .25 coke coupon last night and no more.

    • pjaugustine

Scan your CVS card twice at the coupon machine. It gives you more coupons the second time! I did this last week and ended up with an additional $6.00 off my purchase on items I came in to purchase! It was awesome. paid $0.15 out of pocket and received 6 ECB dollars!

    • Esther

Can you use a CVS coupon printed out on someone else’s card? someone gave me some store coupons they weren’t going to use and I keep having trouble using them, it seems to be the cashier. Some say it has to be from your card, some don’t.
