huggies diapersThis week, our Monday night Q&A session was all about how buying the smallest pack is usually always cheaper than buying the bulk size. Here’s a great example! This week you can get Huggies jumbo packs (that’s the small size) for $4.15 after coupons and rewards at CVS. That would be like getting case of diapers for $12!

To compare even more, you could get in size 3: 96 diapers for $12.45 with this deal or buy a case of 80 diapers for $22. You have more diapers and you paid $10 less for them.

Due to the ages of my kids, I have been purchasing diapers, pull ups, and/or goodnites for 7 years straight. Overall, CVS has been my go-to place because they run this deal so often. I just spoke with someone who has 2 in diapers and just spent $100 on diapers and wipes. I told her I could never have been able to afford it without coupons and sales.

I visited my local CVS store to stock up on diaper deal. I put three jumbo packs of diapers at $9.99 plus 3 $2.50 buggies off coupons However I was told by the cashier that in order to get the $10 extra bucks I had to spend $30 before taxes and my current total included coupons was $22.47. I went ahead and added another pack of diapers so a total of 4 packs. I am new to coupons so I am not sure if the information cashier gave me was correct.

No – it would have worked without adding the extra pack. The best thing about CVS is that ECB’s deals don’t have to be done in the same transaction if you have to hit a minimum. They track how much you’ve spent on your receipt. Get out your receipt. It will probably show that you hit $30 out of $30, but in this case, $29.97 out of $30 would have made the ECB print. You can always return that extra pack if you still have the receipt.

I am new and this is my first time trying this out. This may be a dumb question but what does the “ss” mean? I was only able to find coupons that are printable for $2.00 off.

Smart source insert in the newspaper. The $2.50 off was regional. Mine had $4 off two packs of diapers.
