Love the way this looks on paper, and I have been able to do this so many times in the past, but now all the local CVSs around me are saying that the total before coupons must be exactly $30 or over now. I could always buy another baby, but really just wish I knew the exact policy they are supposed to go by.

      • missyscatchall

Oh, my goodness, what a typo… I will not be buying another BABY, but rather another BABY WASH!! ha!!

        • Tie Dye Jen

Ha, Ha, I got a laugh from that also!

        • Kristen

          LOL- you made me laugh.

      • tiffany

        haha…that’s funny.
my CVS says it has to be $30 before taxes too…bummer! :(

my cvs stores (southern louisiana) scan the coupon and the computer waits to verify that the amount has been met (the $25 or $35 that the $5 is off, for example). If the amount has not been met, it won’t take the coupon amount off.

        • mrs b

Same applies for the amount to buy before ECBs are generated. Still a good deal, but they’ve definitely gotten stricter on both counts

    • Jessicacoupon86

when does the ECB offer end?

    • Nicole Guziak

Can I use 10 even from huggies deal to lower oop? And still get ecb

    • Meyer Couponers

Cvs wipes are .15 each before ecb, that’s pretty good.

i went today to see if i got any baby care Q’s from the machine.. but i only got a $2 off $10… ?????? if i go tomorrow i doubt it will print when its the day that it expires… sucks,

    • Rae

I have a $5 off $35 baby purchase coupon and I am planning to get 3 packs of diapers and some cvs wipes b1 g1 50% off. Does anyone know if the full price of both cvs wipes will go toward the $35? I’m trying to spend right at $35. I checked their coupon policy and couldn’t find anything about it.

      • Shay

I’m interested to know if your scenario worked? I just played it safe and got 4 packs of diapers.

        • Rae

I asked the store manager about this before my transaction. She told me that for this sale, the second wipes would ring up half price, so those savings would be applied before the coupon scanned. However, when I checked out, it did the opposite. The half off savings actually were the very last items to come off, after my coupons and ECBs. It was only a difference of a few dollars, I just have a tight budget this week and was trying to spend right at $35.

    • Amy

Wow- just spent $24 and got 3 packs of Pampers, 1 Johnson’s Baby Shampoo, 1 38-ct Always pads, 1 gallon Pet milk, 1 Jet Dry Finish, and1 Finish Quantum tablets (plus 3 candy bars just for fun.) Fun day at CVS!

Question about CVS’ new “pending validation” register system…

I went to CVS today to take advantage of this deal. I put the $5/$25 coupon on top to make sure the cashier scanned it first, but she didn’t. So I kindly requested that she scan that one first in the event it gets bounced because my other coupons and EBs will reduce the total to less than $25. So, she did. When she finished scanning my coupons and EBs, she told me the $5/$25 coupon was not being accepted (it showed up on the screen as having been voided). She said that “Baby Care” was the “left side of the aisle”, which contained baby shampoo, soap, lotion, and oil. Thus, the diapers were not a part of “Baby Care”. She even asked the guy next to her, who I think was a manager, and he said the same thing. They refused to accept the coupon…

      BUT…

The coupon took anyway (and she didn’t even know that since I walked out with the coupon). My total was as expected, and once the receipt printed, it stated, “Baby Care $5/$25 coupon applied” under every product that was considered “Baby Care”.

Anyone have any experience with this? How do I kindly address this with the cashier should this situation arise again? Do I tell them to just total it again to see if the coupon took? In this scenario, I think I realized the coupon took when she totaled it, and I went to pay for it.

      • Tammy

Their registers do that when you use a lot of coupons. At least it does it to me every single time. They have to keep hitting the “Total” button for it all to go through and the correct total show up. I don’t know if you say swipe your CC prior to the correct amount showing up if you will be charged the correct amount or the incorrect amount that was showing up…..as I wait for the right amount to show up before paying, even if there are people behind me. Also for some reason 1 or more CVS coupons do show up as being void, but then they are still discounted. Mystery.

    • bella1122

I got 4 packs of Pampers, used $5 off $35 baby CVS coupon, 4 – $1.50 MFQ, $4/20 emailed coupon, and $10 ECBs. I paid about $11 OOP!

    • Charli Foskey

Anyone know about how much the CVS wipes are? I know it varies by store, but I just want to have an idea. All I can find is that they’re B1G1 50% Off.

Couponing friends, I have a question. I’ve been couponing for a couple years now. I used to love shopping at CVS but the last few months have received few of the coupons mentioned at coupon center, nothing in email, and nothing via snail mail. After calling the company a couple times and being assured that they had all my correct info but no change to coupons I received, I cancelled the card and signed up for a new one. It’s been two weeks and I’m waiting it out to see if it seems to improve. Has anyone else had this happen? IS there something else I should be signed up for or do?
