    • Chas

I am definitely heading to CVS today to try to do this deal. Thanks so much!

    • Kristine

      Sweet!  Sounds great!  Thanks.

    • Heather

I bought the athens banner and anderson independent and didn't get the dove q. Anybody else?

    • Chelsie Mehok

My $1 off Dove coupon says “excludes Dove Men+Care”.

      • Troop949

Yep, it specifically excludes the Men+Care body wash.

      • Judy

        Mine too! :(

      • Jessie Jay

Mine does too, but since the first 7 numbers match it should still go through.

        • Lissa's Loot

If the coupon specifically states “Excludes Men Dove Men+Care” it would be coupon fraud to use it anyways.

          • Jessie Jay

Oops!! I didn't know that!! Thanks for the info!

    • cyndy

did anybody see dove men care bar 6 pack at cvs?

      • Em

Went by two CVS.  Both only had the 2 pack…. bummer.

        • Pamwil88

I did not pay attention till i got home, i used the $4 on the two pack and it took it.

    • Kristyhymon

I have a ? im jus starting couponing and havent tried to do the drugstores yet cz there confusing to me bt this one sounds easy bt my ? is so if i do option 2 do i turn around in 2nd transaction buy the same things and use my ECB to pay for it???? thanks

      • Ivy

You can, but you won't get another $5 ECBs because it is limit one deal per card.

        • Jessica

Ivy, is that limit per day?

          • melatc

The limit is per card. You can only do this deal once for the ECBs…you can do it more at the $3 price per item through Thursday, but you will not earn the ECBs more than once.

            • laura

I have a question about that, since Dove is doing a month long and a weekly if I've already done one Dove deal (ringing up at $3 a piece) can I do it again this week after Thursday for this week's deal?! I'm not trying to double dip or anything but if they're doing a month long and a weekly can't you do it twice to get both? I got my husband loving their body wash as well as I do too and they are kind of pricey…to me this is a great deal esp. w the coupons!!

            • Jessica

Laura, this is a very good question!!!

            • laura

Thanks I thought so too!! Hopefully we can get an answer?!

    • Karawtn

I have the B1G1 Body and Face Wash Q.  Does anyone know if the free one with coupon will count towards the 5 purchased for the ECB's?

      • Jessica

It should, yes. Because you are still purchasing $15 WORTH of it to get the ECB.

      • Olivia

For me, the price automatically rung up for $3/piece, then my B1G1 Q rang up as $5.99, so I got both for free and only one counted toward my EB reward. Hope that helps.

    • Erica

I got the Sun Journal and the Havelock news and did not receive any dove coupons :(

    • Jennifer54

Will the Dove Men+Care Body Wash & deodorant automatically ring up $3 even though the sales paper says $5??

      • Jessica

        Jennifer,
I think the $3 is a month long sale and the $5 is for this week. I'm sure she wouldn't post it if it wouldn't ring up as $3.

        • Jennifer54

Thanks! I'm pretty new to this and didn't want any “suprises” when I rang up. Love this website!!

          • Jessica

Yeah, I'm pretty new as well, but it makes sense to me. If it's $15 worth of an item before coupon and all then it shouldn't matter and you should still get the ECB. I would ask first though – just encase :)

            • Jessica

^^IGNORE THAT^^ Posted to the wrong one, haha! But yes, it should ring up right. If it doesn't then point out the monthly sale to them and they should honor it.

      • Olivia

        It did for me :)

      • Brandon

You can always take the products to the Coupon Printing Center (the red machine) in CVS to check the price. I did this today with this Dove deal. The price was $5.99, but it also said “2 for $6.00 with card.” Of course I used my CVS card when I bought them, and they rang up $3 each. I got 2 Body Washes and 3 deodorants. I use 3 $2 off deodorants and 1 B1G1 body wash. I paid $6.28 for all of it (including tax) and got $5 in RR's back. Sweet!

    • Jessica

Hey! I am pretty new with trying to shop at CVS. I have several of these coupons for the  Dove Men+Care stuff and I would like to use all of them. On the other stores you have it listed as transactions, but on this one you have it listed as options – is there a major limit on this as far as getting the ECB?

      • Sunshinebabysite

There is a limit of one per card with this particular ECB deal.

    • Florenceathome

Didn't find the Dove coupons in AJC either.

      • ireneY

I got a couple of double issues of the AJC and only one early edition was missing the Qs. 3 out of 4 issues had them… strange.

      • minxchick

…the dove coupons are in the redplum ad in the ajc.

    • Lola

can we do 4 deodorants one bodywash?

      • Sunshinebabysite

You could, but you might as well “buy” the second bw and use the bogo coupon.

    • Lissa's Loot

The B1G1 Dove coupon is coded as a “14” which means it attaches to both items so you shouldn't use the $1 off Body wash coupon too.

    • Albert_The_Gator

Anyone attempting to do the Dove deal should be wary of how your body washes ring up.  I did the original deal posted in the Southern Savers Weekly CVS Ad (1 visable care & 2 men+care).

The qty 2 men+care body wash went towards the monthly Dove spend $15 get $5.

The 1 Visable Care went towards the weekly promotion Dove Spend $15 get $5 ECB.

The happy ending is that I had enough coupons to double the deal.  So, I got $10 ECB for doing both the weekly and monthly Dove deals.

Make sure you read the bottom of your receipts.  CVS is great about stating how much you've spent towards their promotions!

      • Mkwsenior

I too did the original deal posted in the Southern Savers Weekly CVS Ad (1 visable care & 2 men+care).
I first became alarmed when the casher (also the manager) told me my OOP was $3 and some change and then even more when my ECB did not print. That is when we both looked through the ad, went over what I bought, and the coupons I gave. She said she would do it manually and somehow I got $15 ECB instead!

Next I bought the tampons and got my ECB for those but paid cash because my total was only $5 after coupons and I didn't want to waste the $15 ECB.

At that point I was too confused to complete my 3rd and final transaction. I got out of line and regrouped. I went back and bought 2 other items I needed and paid used the ECB from the tampons.

Long story short, I went to CVS with $10. I left with 3 Dove body washes, tampons, a huge bottle of 2-in-1 Dandruff Shampoo for my hubby and dish soap AND I still have $15 in ECB for a later trip.

    • Kimberlyn

I went yesterday and my Dove's Men body wash rang up at $5.79!    I had to go back in the store once I realized it and made them adjust it down to $5.00.  My ECB also did NOT print out and she had to manually do it.

I wish I had known they were $3 this month.  I hate it when things don't ring up as they should.  I need to pay more attention at the register from now on.

My Pepsi also rang up at 65 cents more per 12 pack than it should have and I didn't bother going back on that one.  I need to be more vigilant.

    • Would they do a rain check on this for the $3 price? If it is advertised as $5, how can I get the $3 for a rain check?

    • Missyba

My CVS ad says Dove bodywash is $5 also..is this regional?

    • Enough100

Hi.  So if the deodorant is  “marked $5 in the store (the weekly sale price), but the month long sale price is $3.”   How do I prove to the cashier that it is $3.  I'm wondering if there is some kind of monthly coupon or specials booklet or sheet.
How did you find out about the monthly special?  I'm very new to CVS coupon/deals shopping.  Thanks and have a great day.

      • It will ring up as $3. I told the cashier about the ad discrepancy and she told her manager about it. I was telling her CVS stores all over the country were having the same issue. Even when you buy exactly $15, the ECB still won't print out. Major fail for CVS! I already knew from reading the comments here that people weren't getting their ECB's so I was ready to tell the lady to force print my ECB's. Unfortunately, there will be many who won't.

    • Fordbaby_123

I didn;t get any dove coupons in none of my papers

      • Squirrellyec

you could try ebay or couponclippers.com.  I normally receive mine within 2-3 days, hopefully in time to take advantage of the sale.  You could also try a shout out to your FB friends.

    • Shouldn't the final cost on the second scenario be $0.20 per item?

    • Jcgoggins

I'm new to all of this..can you use the 3.75 off of men's body wash coupone wyb visibe care body wash? Even if the men's care is on sale for 3.00? i'm trying to figure out best scenario with the coupons I have.

      • Yes you can. I just got back from CVS doing this deal. I got two visible cares and one men's which equaled exactly $15. This isn't the best deal though. I thought about it later and should've used the BOGO coupon because I would've gotten a MUCH bigger overage.

    • If I order the coupons, I don't think I will have them in time for the sale. Oh, well, I think I have enough body wash. :-)

      • Aprillove4171

just get a raincheck from CVS :)

    • Mounit98

Here is what happened to me……

I used the B1G1 on the Body wash….the value is up to $5.99
Well they are on sale this week for 2/$6

I ended up getting both of them free bc of the coupon being worth up to $5.99 I only had to pay tax.

The only bad thing is…..It wasnt adding up for the buy $15 get $5 back….The guy knew I bought OVER $15 bc I bought….4 Mens Body (Used 2 B1G1) and the womens body and used $2 coupon. So he gave me the $5 bux lol

      It was great!
      Anyone else experiencing this?

      • Carriebeth95

I went into CVS yesterday and my Dove ECB didn't print either. The manager told me that the registers are being reprogrammed so the coupons take away from the total needed to get ECB's. So I bought $16 worth of Dove but since the coupons brought the total of Dove below the required $15, no ECB's for me. He printed and gave them to me anyway – but FYI for everyone – CVS is going to start making it so manufacturer's coupons count against your total needed to get the ECB. I am in Florida if that makes any difference.

      • Mcdermott2020

I had this problem as well except my cashier wouldn't give me the ECB's which messed up the rest of my transactions. :(   CVS should have a disclaimer in their weekly ad that lets you know the total needed to get ECB's is after coupons.

      • Couponmomjenn

exact same thing happened to me! at the bottom of my receipt it came up as my purchases going toward two seperate rewards :( back to cvs for me….

      • DianaY19

This issue is not related to the coupons.  The problem is the “type” of bodywash.  I went yesterday and had a very nice cashier.  We figured it out together.  Only the “green” bodywash was ringing up on sale and counting toward the $15 reward.  He kindly fixed it but still let me get the ones that weren't “Green”.  They were “red” and “blue”. (In regards to the colors, I'm talking about the different scents and the color the scent name is written in).

        • Mounit98

I bought both the red and green and the only thing counting towards my bucks reward was the $6.00 womens body wash.

I was still rewarded and I got 4 mens body wash for 86 cents for all 4 and Im not exactly sure what I paid for the womens bc it as $6 and I had a $2 off coupon but I also got $3.75 off the mens when I bought the womens so Im all confused lol

All I kno is that I made out on CVS's errors!!

So are they really starting that you only get counted after the coupons towards rewards?

    • Yes you can. I just got back from CVS doing this deal. I got two visible cares and one men's which equaled exactly $15. This isn't the best deal though. I thought about it later and should've used the BOGO coupon because I would've gotten a MUCH bigger overage.

I just came from CVS. I got 4 body washes and 2 deodorants. I used 2 BOGO coupons for the body wash. Instead of removing the body washes at the $3 sales price, he removed the full price $5.99. Is that normal or did he screw up? That made the body wash free. I used the $2 coupons for each deodorant which made them $1 each. I also bought the BOGO Wisk at $8.99 with 2 – $2.00 coupons. I had a $2.00 ECB so my OOP was $7.51 and I got a $5.00 ECB back. I'm new to couponing so this made my day.

      • AbbyBabe126

My store did the same thing. When I went back and asked she said it was their store policy to do that. =)

    • Kccoupon

The Dove website no longer has the 3.75 coupon for the men+care bodywash anymore to clip; just FYI

    • Holliejgarza

where does everyone get their coupons? I am trying to begin couponing so i got the sunday paper but you show using multiple redplum coupons. should i be buying more than one sunday paper?

      • Squirrellyec

starting off with just one or two each week is fine.  Eventually, you may choose to purchase more depending on the coupons available in your area (many are regional) and your family's needs.

      • Denise11362

YES, buy more than 1 – 2 – 3 or 10 – whatever you want. We typically buy 10 and I'll share with my daughter and mother – but then there are times, the coupons are really good and I'll go back and buy many more papers. You can often print 2 coupons offline as well to either maximize your savings or suplement your present coupon stash.

      • Jen

Some places suggest one paper for each household member.

      • Erin

Honestly, depending on the size of your family, you probably don't need to invest in ridiculous numbers of papers to get “deals”–and buying multiple papers at $2 a pop (or online from clipping services, which is totally unethical) just cuts into your savings. I have a family of four, and one paper is enough most weeks, especially once you get a stockpile going. These same deodorant were free after IP coupon (!!!)  just a month or so ago, and you didn't have to buy five newspapers to get them–just print your two allowed prints per computer. Buy multiple papers when you know the coupons included are for items you regularly use.

      • Pamwil88

I purchased mine of of wholecouponinserts.com

    • Sunshinebabysite

Am I the only one having a hard time with the math on the 2nd scenario?  I see the oop coming out as $6, then with the $5 ECB you get 3 deo and 2 bw for $1.

      • Bls5966

your right I think it should be $6

        • AbbyBabe126

My cashier took all the full price not the sales price so I got $5.99 off. I even asked her about it and she said their store's policy is to give you the none sale price. I know where I'm going for all my BOGO coupons! =)

          • Kristyhymon

so is that for all cvs store policies or just certain ones?

            • All of them. They do it for me all the time at my cvs.

          • Canondvman

I went in to buy 4 Mens+Care Body wash.  I thought it was going to be $20 minus $10 in Coupons (2B1G1), but the first coupon rang up as 5.99 off (I didn't even notice).  The cashier asked me the price and I said $5 (which I thought it was).  I also bought some Twizler with a .50 Mfg Coupon and a $1.00 CVS coupon.  My total was only like $2 and change.  I was confused, then after looking at the rcpt, I saw I didn't get the $5ECB, and looked closer and saw I was only charged $3 each (12 total) so I still lack $3 (Which I will get tomorrow).  So I paid $12 and got $10.99 in Dove Coupon and only have to buy $3 more to get the $5ECB.  What a deal.

        • Kristyhymon

i went to cvs and did senerio #2.. my total was $7.00?? thought it was gonna be 5?? all products rang up at 3.00 and got the 5.00ecb..

          • Janet

Same exact thing here too!!!!!  I am still trying to figure out the math!

      • Kleirer1

        It was $6 so $0.20/each

    • Kleirer1

I went and got mine! :)  The salesperson didn't even think it would work.  Also, I got a single Seatle's Best coffee drink (just because that was the only place I could find the singles and I had a FREE single coupon) and they had them on sale 10/$10 (normally $1.49 each)  and the coupon took off $1.49, so money maker….I wish I had more than one of the coupons.  It was a good drink too.

      • Madbeachin1

Where were these at? I've been looking for a few weeks. I tried in the coolers, next to energy drinks, and in the coffee isle. Help!

        • Erin

Mine were in the cooler next to the other energy drinks, but only 1 CVS I've been to (LaGrange GA) sold them.

    • TinaOwens

Well I just completely screwed this deal.  :(   Chalk it up to being a virgin couponer.  I had a Buy 1 Dove Bodywash and get 1 Mens Care free, also had a $1 off the Dove and a B1G1 on the Mens Care.  Thought I could use the B1G1 Mens in conjunction w the B1G1 Dove and Mens, but they wouldn't let me use 2 B1G1s, so I ended up scrambling for ECBs I had saved up and still had $3 out of pocket.  :(    I still got a cheap deal, but not free.  Good news is…I think I still have the coupons I need to go back and try the scenario #1 deal above.  I should have listeneed the first time instead of trying to be a rookie renegade! Love this site.  Thanks so much!

    • Amandafeher

I just went and got the Dove body washes for .55cent for both using the buy one get one coupon that just came out!!

    • Tamb

where is the ad that says the deo and the wash is $3 each. The new store is Lex. charged me $5 yesterday and said the southern savers is wrong and they are not $3. What am I doing wrong. I'm still new to this. thanks for the help.  They said if I can show proof they would fix it.

      • Janice

Check out the post DianaY19 below. She says that only the bottle with green writing is ringing up at $3.00.

        • Mec

I only bought the blue and it rang up $3

          • AbbyBabe126

I bought the extra fresh deo and body wash (blue writing) and the deep clean body wash (red writing) and they all worked so it doesn't have anything to do with the writing. All rang up $3.

      • AbbyBabe126

I would go into the store and scan a bottle at price scanner/card scanner. It should tell you the price is 2/$6.00 or $3 a piece.  That's what I did before I bought anything.  If it does, then I would show them and ask for a refund of the difference.

      • momofthree

The CVS ad in Sunday's paper has the Men+Care deoderant 2/$7. The flyer should be available in the store.

      • Teri

I don't know what it is but when I was flipping though my Sunday CVS paper it said the deodorant was 2/7.00 and the body wash was 5.00.

    • Troop949

Correct me if I'm wrong:  if I use the $3.75 off men's body wash coupon (WYB Dove women's body wash), that should give me a “free” men's body wash, right?  Has anyone tried this yet?  I'd like to do this and do the B1G1 to get a total of 3 “free” men's body washes.

      • Tinaowens

Nope.  See my post below.  Thats what I tried to do this morning and they wouldnt take the second B1G1.  I ended up going in  pocket for purchase.  I still got a good deal, but wasnt as brilliant as I thought I was.

        • Troop949

Thanks.   I would think it would work if I split the transactions, though (different stores & different days).  Fortunately, I have two stores close to my home and on my commute to work!

      • Mandyward67

I bought 1 visible care body wash and 3 men body washes. I used 1 B1G1, one $2 off visible care, and one $3.75 off when you buy a body wash. It all worked except that I had to have them manually print out the EBs

    • Madbeachin1

Just got back from my local CVS (Seminole, Fl) and option # 1 worked like a charm. Hubby is excited about all the deoderant!
      Thanks for the tips Jenny!

    • Kcreviews

It would be a great deal if our insert actually had the coupons in it. Which it didn't. It's annoying having to go online and buy coupons because our papers don't get them.

    • Jeng824

What does the (5) mean in front of men+ care in options 1? I'm new to this wedsite and to couponing in all.

      • Jgilliam1217

that is the number that they purchased

      • i<3freestuff

        Quantity

      • Troop949

It really helps to learn the lingo of this website!  Please read the “How to Coupon” section of the site.  You can find the link at the very top of the page.  Once you understand how Jenny uses abbreviations and stuff, you'll have a much easier time figuring out the deals.  Good luck!

      • Bndotsdiane

        means buy 5

    • Mama2Trips

I may be crazy but I just went to the CVS by me (south of Charlotte, NC) and the deal was Dove Men's Deodorents 2 for $7 (so $3.50 each).  I had the $2 off coupons for each one and a $3 off $15 purchase coupon so I still made out good.  And I did get the $5 ECB to printout.

    • Bndotsdiane

good deal but tht coupon didn't come in my red plum this week. I check twice just to make sure.

    • Christine

I've been searching the internet to determine if there are multiple Dove deals going on, and exactly what they are.  I read somewhere that there are 3 separate Dove monthly deals, which is why people are having problems with ECBs printing.  Since they are separate, this also means that you could technically do one of each deal (if this info is correct).  The deals are:
Dove Body Wash or Bar Soap – Get $5 ECBs wyb $15Dove Men’s + Care Products – Get $5 ECBs wyb $15
Dove Hair Care, Shampoo, Conditioner, or Stylers – Get $5 ECBs wyb $15

Can anyone confirm this?  Or confirm that you have gotten your $5 ECBs for 2 separate Dove deals?

      Thanks!

      • DonnaChas

I know there has to be more than one deal going on because yesterday my husband went to CVS to do a deal and came home saying that the ECB didn't print for a Dove deal he figured out.  The cashier manually printed the $5 ECB.  Sorry I don't have the answer other than, yes, there must be different Dove deals right now.  If I find out I will let you know.

    • sally gott

I got the deal!!!! Went to one CVS and  they were sold out but i went to another and they were stocked. The cashier was super rude and didn't want to use my coupons but i smiled and got my deal anyways.I killed her with  kindness :)

    • Chasityc1984

My newspaper (AJC) doesn't have that coupon!! :(

      • Which coupon?  My AJC had all the dove q's.  Maybe the early edition didn't have them?

        • Shannon

I didn't have it either, I got the early edition too.

        • Kathycake

I am reallly bummed –  I bought 2 AJC (they bundle the early and the late) on sunday morning for $3.  then I bought the TIMES for Gainsville GA bundled 2 papers also.  No Smart Source in TIMES and BOTH on each bundle DIDN”T have the Dove coupons.  How does this Happen???  I live in Buford near the Mall of GA.   :(  :(  :(  :(  4 papers and no coupons.

          • Bridgett

The Gainesville Times never has Smart Source, only Red Plum.

            • LexMom

The Lexington, KY Herald Leader had the inserts but no Dove coupons!!! Did this happen to anyone else in this area?

          • BB'smom

I bought the early edition of the AJC and a bundled early/late set and all of them had the dove coupons.  They are in the red plum insert.

    • Lori

I got the deal on Scenario #1! Yay!  I can't find Fuse or Honest T at any of my local CVS locations, but I'm traveling in a couple of days… on the hunt! :)

    • Kdfowler84

I got 4 men's body washes and one visible care…used 2 B1G1 coupons and a $2 off…I only got the $3.00 off for the B1G1 q's but that was fine with me…however, the cashier did have to manually print my ecb's because all the men's products went together for one of the deals and the visible care went to a seperate one. I think that is the problem everyone is experiencingif you get different types of products.

      • Mandyward67

I did the same thing. I atually made money because I realized later that my B1G1 took off $5.99. But I did have to have them manually print my EBs.

        • Breeboyd

ok…i did opt #2 but mine didnt come out 2 $5,it was $7 which is still good…but what are EBs? because I didnt get any

          • Teri

They should have been at the bottom of your receipt. It should have said something like $5.00.

    • Brittany

Is the Dove Men+Care Body and Face Wash on sale for $3 along with the Deodorant? Or is it just the deodorant on sale for $3? Sorry I'm new to this and a little confused.

      • Sarah

whenever you arent sure you can always scan a product's barcode at the coupon machine and it will tell you the price

    • Denise72

How do you know the sale price is $3.00 all month?

    • sharon

I am sure there will be no product when I get there….my wags is always out of stock!

      • Sarah

doesnt matter if wags is out of stock, because the sale is at cvs (lol). also you can always get rainchecks

    • Carmen

      I got option #2 worked perfect..thanks

    • Sprtgirl32

I don't want the deodorant…. is there a deal I can do with the Men's body wash and visible care body wash? I have (2) B1G1 free Q's, (1) B1 body wash get $3.75 off men's body wash Q, and (1) $2/1 Visible Care Q.

      • Mec

You can do these, but your ECBs won't print.  The month long deal overrides the sales paper deal.  Yours is exactly the deal I did yesterday.  The manager had to force the print of the ECB and did the same for another person there.  On my receipt it has the Visible Care as a separate deal from the Men Care items.

        • I bought 4 Men's Body Washes and 1 deo; used two 3.75 coupons and $2 coupon. Paid 5.50 & got 5.00 ECB, which did print.

        • ANA

Just got home from CVS and just catching up on the posts. This happened to me about 7pm today. I did the original deal listed and then when I am in my car checking the receipt I notice the $5 ECB didn't print. I go back inside and they tell me that the Dove Men's is 2/$6 and it didn't give me “credit” towards the rewards. The manager manually gave me the $5 ECB. I have a $9 credit towards the reward.

        • Trish

Same for me on the same deal. My store had to manually print the ecb's. Always check your receipts.

    • Tiff

Did excellent at CVS today.  4 of the Dove body washes and 2 of the Dove deodorants.  Used (2 ) b1g1 free coupons for the body wash and (2) $2 off deodorant.  Only paid $3.29 and they gave me back $5 EBC's!
      Very Happy!!

      • Torres

i did this and i pay more

      • Pamwil88

        My same transaction.lol

    • MonicaFL

I got deal #1 at a CVS in Gainesville, FL.  I went to 3 different CVS today (looking for my rainchecks and those phTampons) and they all seemed to be fully stocked with the Dove deodorant.

    • Sha08

I had a very interesting visit to CVS today. I've only been doing this for a little over a month so the multiples deals were somewhat confusing but I figured I would give it a shot. I purchased 2 mens' bodywashes $3 each, 1 regular wash $6 and 1 six pack soap $6. I used BOGO men's wash ,  $3.75 of men's wash, $1 off regular wash and .75 off 6 pack soap. She used all of my coupons but had to manually print my EB. She handed it to me and I looked to make sure they were correct but when I went to my car I realized that she didn't give my a $5 EB but it was in fact $15!

    • NewMommy

Help!  I have always had a good experience at CVS but today threw me for a loop.  I went to do the Dove #1 deal and I was expecting for the men's dove deodorant to be $3 per the monthly deal and the body wash to be $5 like stated in the ad.  Before I checked out, I used the price scanner to make sure I was getting these prices.  The deo showed the price of $3.50 and the men's body wash to be $5.49.  I asked the worker about the body wash price and she if it didn't ring up right she'd fix it at the register.  Well, when she rang me up, the men's body wash rang up for $5.49.  I showed her in the ad where it showed $5, she asked her manager, and the manager said the ad means it's $5 AFTER coupons.  So they were telling me that there was a coupon out there for $0.49 that I needed to use.  So the manager wouldn't adjust the price.  Then the men's deo rang up for $3.50 :(  Needless to say, I didn't do the deal and left empty handed.  Was the manager correct in not fixing it?  And I'm wondering why the deo didn't ring up at $3 like it did in everyone's else's stores???  Am I doing  something wrong?  I am very confused!!  Thank you.

      • Ckjohnson

This manager clearly doesn't know what they are talking about. The price was supposed to be 3.00 BEFORE coupons. You did the right thing by walking away. You did nothing wrong. They need a new manager who is trained correctly.

    • Chrislynn

I went to CVS this morning and should have gotten 3ECB for the John Freida deal.  When I pointed it out the cashier stated that I must have met the deal already.  I told her that I met it for last week and she told me that some of the deals/ECB do not start over the next week.  I was clearly confused and then she rudely told me that it did not matter cause she could not go back and print them after tranaction.  I love CVS but often avoid this store when I see she is working—–

      • Christine

The John Frieda deal is a monthly deal; therefore, you can only complete it once during the entire month, I believe.

        • Chrislynn

Oooh OK.  Thank you.  But how do you know if it is monthly?

    • Hijones60

Bought one Dove body wash for $ 6.00 and 2 Men's (assuming they were $ 5.00 each), did not see the $ 5.00 ECB and realized that the men's was only $ 3.00 and did not count towards the $ 15.00, only the women's body wash. Went back and purchased another men's body wash just to find out it still did not count. The cashier called the manager and she said, that it would not print because of the coupons I used. I said no, this is always before coupons. She got harsh and said I should call the 800 number, there was nothing she could do. So, I will do this tomorrow morning and see, what they say…

      • ANA

Similar to my story, but the manager manually inputed adjustment to give me the $5 ECB.

    • Sha08

My guess is CVS will never run 2 similar deals at the same time again. I think it has caused alot of confusion with employees as well as shoppers. Does anyone recall the price of the women's deodorant?

    • kristen

How do you know the month long deals? If you cannot prove to these cashiers that their is a month long deal and it rings up the sale price then what do you do?

      • FreedomSpradley1

Show them the current ad with dove deal, your receipt showing dove purchases (over two deals), and explain you didn't realize you were shopping two different deals and I'm sure they'll print your ECB.  Your receipt will show how much you've purchased toward each deal and they will see you spent the $15.

    • Tiffany

I used the doves men+body wash coupon…BOGO- up to $5.99 in value as stated on the coupon. Since they are both $3 I figured I could get them for free or at least pay .001 plus tax but two stores wouldn't let me do this. I even talked to one manager at one store and he wouldnt let me do it. He said with the coupon it would have to be rung up at retail and not sale….this also didn't make since to me. I am in South Carolina….anyone with this same problem. He also told me it would be incorrect to ring it up like that.

      • FreedomSpradley1

Usually the cashier manually inputs the cost of an item on a B1G1 coupon which would be $3 in this case.  I have seen cashiers input the max amount giving you overage before but I don't think that's typical and I would imagine it's not appropriate either.  Some B1G1 coupons automatically ring up with whatever the max value is (ie. Suave B1G1 bodywash last week at Publix) and the cashiers will let that slide.

        • Tiffany

Thanks for letting me know. So I guess its all depends on the cashier I take?

          • FreedomSpradley1

I definitely profile cashiers.  Some are much more lax than others.  I know what works and I don't break any rules so I try to avoid arguments by checking out with the young guy/gals.  For some reason the older the cashier, the more they assume you are trying to steal something.

    • Sprtgirl32

So i am really trying to figure this out… What if I buy 2 mens body washes, 1 visible care body wash, and 1 deodorant. That should total $15. Then I can use one BOGO Men+Care Q, one BOG$3.75 off Men+Care Q, one $2/1 Visible Care Q, and one $2/1 Men+Care deodorant Q? If they give me $3 off for the BOGO Q's since that is the sales price I should end up paying $5 oop and getting $5 ECB's back…right? Unless they ring up the retail price for the Q's then I would pay less…

      Does this seem right??

      • Deecheers4rv

I did a similar deal with 3 mens BW instead of deo and the visible but the visible seperated to a seperate deal so the 5 ECB didn't print but I showed them and they manually printed it off for me.

    • Trish

I did the men +  care bodywash deal with a visible care bodywash and had to have my ecb's manually printed.  Since these are two separate deals, can I go back and do the deodarant deal to get another 5 ECB or does my first transaction put me at the limit?

      • Pcarmi

If your ECB's were force printed, you can still do the deals…look on your receipt to see what amount it is crediting you for both the dove deals.  They force printed my $5.00 for buying the same as you, and the system credited me for 6.00 on each deal, leaving me 9.00 remaining on each.  I bought 3 deodorants at $3 ea (using $2 off coupons for each for a total of $3 and it printed another $5 ECB).   Then I bought 3 shampoos at $3 ea (using .75 off coupons for each) and it printed ANOTHER $5 ECB…pretty good deal!

        • Coupongal18

So, if we did the Dove deal and they had to manually print out the ECB, we can go back and do another deal – I'm just so confused with both of the deals going on – I know it was $5 ECB when you spent $15 in Dove for this wek but what is the month long deal?

        • Trish

Thanks.  I'll give it a shot.

    • SLG

My CVS was out of the bodywash so I got 5 deoderants that rang up $3 each which totals $15. I used (5) $2 off coupons from this weeks sales paper. My total OOP was $5 before tax and I got $5 ECB that I will use to buy the B1G1 Wisk that is $8.99 and use (2) $2.00 Wisk from this weeks sales papers and I will get the laundry detergent for FREE!!! Sounds like a deal to me!!

      • Pamwil88

I did not think about that, I just thought that the Wisk was too high and that I could use the coupon somewhere else, like at family dollar.

    • Cccorethers

I bought 6 bodywash, my total OOP was $1.44, my B1G1 coupons scanned @ $5.99, so I only paid for the tax, got my $5.00 rewards bucks, I went again this morning and did it again and received another $5.00 rewards buck, but I wasn't expecting that because the flyer said limit 1 per household.

      Pretty good deal I got!

    • LexMom

The Lexington (KY) Herald Leader had the SS and RP inserts but no Dove coupns!!?? Did this happen to anyone else in the area?

      • Couponspls

Yes I have none of the Dove coupons in Charlotte, NC.  UGH!!!!

    • Sarah

I actually made money on this, did #1 and was able to use the following coupons from last week's paper: (2) $4.00 off men's bar soap, (1) B1G1 Dove Men Care Plus, (1) 1.00 off Dove body wash.  I was surprised that the $4 off coupons worked, since each body wash cost 3.00.  Total with tax was 4.16, got back 5 ECB + 1 ECB for using my green bag tag!  Yay!

      • Sarah

whoops,  Ibought the body wash, not deodorant.  Most of the coupons from sunday's paper will work for the body wash!

      • Sdonohoo

Did you use the B1G1 for Men Care Body Wash with Dove Body Wash AND the $1 off Body Wash? I was planning to try that but wasn't sure it would work.

      • Sha08

I'm sorry, I'm still somewhat new to this and a little confused…How do you use a $4.00 soap coupon on bodywash?

        • Mary

She shouldn't have.  Just because the computer accepted it doesn't make it right.  The coupon verbage made it clear it was intended for bar soap.

      • You used the bar-soap coupon on the bodywash?

    • I went to CVS today to purchase this deal and the deo and body wash all rang up 2/$6. Better deal with coupons but didnt reach my goal for $5 ECB in return. Plan to make another trip tomorrow. So watch this if you are using ECB in scenario or series of transactions.

    • Dtrolen

in option #2 wouldnt your total due be $6 and get $5 ECB? If you buy 5 items @ $3 that is $15, (3) -$2 off couopons takes off $6 and a B1G1 wll take off another $3. That leaves $6 due. Right?

      • FreedomSpradley1

You can also use a -$1 coupon with the B1G1 bodywash coupon.  Two coupons for two products.

        • Cumminsdream507

not at the CVS in honea path….they said they could only accept 1 coupon even though i was purchasing 2 products.and they looked at me like i was stupid when i asked for a rain check on the dove men that they were sold out of that said was supposed to be $3 until 6/30.i am very dissapointed !

    • Hallsharonl

I got 5 body wash and 2 deodorants for $3.65 and still got a $5.00 coupon.  Made a $1.35 profit.  Alright!

      • Pamwil88

        How did that scenario go?

    • Squirrellee01

My stores was sold out, I did get a rain check but for the weekly sales price. :(

    • Elaine leggett

My coupon was for the dove bar soap and was 4.00. Where did the 3.00 ones for deodorant come from?

    • Priscilla430

The coupon for $2 off that I found was for walmart only, not cvs :-(

    • Ddclark81

My CVS had one body wash and one pack of mens dove soap.  Bought both by using my B1G1 and then used my $4 off coupon for the bar soap. paid $1.77.  Going to another CVS to use my other two coupons!  Too happy!

    • lovinthis1

where do i get the rp coupons?? i clicked on the rp link and i see 6 coupons none for dove….?

      • Kristalipe

These coupons are in the newspaper insert from Sunday 6/26. Not all Red Plum coupons are offered online.

    • Maat2393

I went to cvs today and was over my $15 limit…My $5 ECB did not print and when I asked about it they told me it was because I used coupons ??? I told them that did not make sense to me because aside from the coupons i still spent $15 on dove, they insisted it was because of coupons…can anyone explain ??

      • Sha08

What exactly did you purchase? There are two deals going on and at the bottom of your receipt it will tell you how much you spent towards each deal. The coupons are not the issue. I think these two Dove deals are confusing to the CVS employees as well as the shoppers.

    • Sall

Can I get a raincheck on the body wash and deodorant for $3 each? Or will it have to be $5 and $3.50?

    • Jlynmb

So is the body wash $3 as well?

    • mommy12

went to cvs yesterday i got the 5 ecb for the dove but my bill was mess up because on cvs store where i went with they dont accept printables even those i printed on their website with redeemable only at cvs…:( Are they really not accepting printables anymore??????????? anyone help?

      • FreedomSpradley1

        I would call corporate 1-800-SHOP-CVS.

    • Helplease

i have a weird question i was hoping someone could answer. I bought 2 bodywashes from cvs about a week ago and i received ECB for having bought them. Then i used the ecb already as well. It was my first time trying the bw and i think my skin is allergic to it. I wanted to know what to do if i wanted to return the unopened bottle since i received ecb for it. Do they just give me credit for it then instead of my cash back?thanks!

      • Stephanie

Ive had to return someting to them but it wasn't opened but I recieved the total bill amount before any deductions.  hope this helps :)

      • FreedomSpradley1

If you paid cash for the transaction (more than the value of the returned item) they will give you a cash refund.  I roll my ECB and rarely spend more than tax in cash so if I return something they give me a gift card for the refund.  FYI: CVS is awesome about accepting returns on items that don't work out even if it's been opened.  I had to return a $18 Olay eye cream product one time because it made me break out and they gave me full refund plus I think I got a $5 or $10ECB for purchasing it that I got to keep.  Hope this helps.

    • Temperevans

      im so confused

    • Michellescoupons143

Wisk laundry detergent*** CVS has them b1g1 free. There was a coupon for $2.00 off in this weeks paper and some from a few weeks ago I held onto. Well I went Monday and got $36.00 worth of it for only $10.00. I was able to use a coupon for each bottle even though the one was free.

      • Zee

me too. the only thing is at my CVS Wisk is 8.39 and 8.99. Still good I got two bottles for 2.19 each

    • Zee

I purchased 4 Doves, 2 pantenes, 6 Honest Teas 20oz (i think), 2 Lipton Teas 20oz, 4 Wisks, Rephresh Tampons, 2 Hydro Razors refills, and Lady Speed Stick. though 21.09 oop and got 16.79ecb back. I had coupons for each drink making them free, I had the 1 off tampon, 1 green bag tag ECB,15.99 ECB, 3/2 pantene, 4 2/1 wisk and b1g1 dove, 2/1 dove, 3.75 dove.

    • Curry Coupon

the first week i didnt buy 10 news papers! darn

      • Well, with the $20 you didn't spend on newspapers, you can just buy the items!

        • I don't buy 10 papers, but I do buy at least 4. I only pay $1 for each of mine. Even if I bought 10 of them, I would have already made my money back through the two KFC coupons I used yesterday. Like Curry Coupon, I wish I'd bought a couple more papers. ;-)

    • Amandajw

Went in for the Dove Men's Care deal….but they were out (no surprise there).  But I did get an awesome deal on some Pringles.  The coupon machine printed out $1 off Pringles on the Go (which it also printed last time I was there, so I got 2).  They did not have Pringles on the Go, so I talked to an employee who just happened to be the store manager who told me to tell the cashier to take $1 off the regular size.  Went up to the register, used my two CVS coupons with my $1/2 pringles P&G coupon (exp. 6-30) and it ended up being -.33!  Added my fav candy bar, and owed .80.  Not bad…. :)

    • Froggy30210

went to CVS this morning and got deal 2.
so i used 3 dedorant coupons 1 BIGI on bodywash then i used the 4.00 off for the soap and it worked so i was very excited. so i had a -.09 i bought a pack of gum for a 1.37 and got my 5 bucks in rewards.

This was my first time eve being in the negative i was a big deal for me!!!!

    • baseballmom

I did this deal and ended up getting 2 for $0.01! I used a BOGO coupon that the cashier valued  it at $5.99. Since they were on sale for $3 each, I racked up on them! I also got the $5 ECB back on the Dove products! Glad I checked this site one last time before I headed out this a.m.!

    • BrianV

Where can I see the monthly Dove deal for CVS.

      http://www.southernsavers.com/2011/06/cvs-deals-free-dove-mens-deodorant-or-body-wash/

I need to print it out and show them to be able to get the deal at my CVS. They said that they can’t see it being marked off that  much. I have looked all over the CVS website but can’t find it. I can only find the weekly ad and it has them listed at 5 dollars a piece. Any help would be appreciated!

our CVS didn't have Dove for 5$, they had 2 for 6$…. but I still had coupons and got 5 ECB for spending 15$.
So, I've got 2 Wisk (with 3$ off in coupons and B1G1, 2 All (with 2$ off in coupons and B1G1), got 1 Dove men deodorant, 2 men body-wash, 2 body-wash, 1 refreshing body-wash, tampons, bag of cotton balls,2 Pantene (shampoo & Conditioner 2 for 6 and had a 3$ off 2 coupon +2ECB). Total for everything before coupons: 66.52. After coupons and promotions: 27.03 and got 13.79 in ECB.
my receipt says I saved today total of 61.84$… not bad I think.

The best deal yet…I was able to get 6 men's body washes for $.03!!!  The register is ringing them up at $3.00 each and the BOGO coupon is automatically taking off $5.99.  I did 3 transactions so I could use 3 BOGO coupons.  I also still received my $5 extra bucks since all 3 of my transactions were technically over $15.

Did you use different CVS cards.

Is anyone in Orlando finding the Men's body wash as $5 rather than $3?  I have been to a few in the area and they are all on sale for $5…

I am in East Orlando and the three CVS in my area were all priced at $3.

:[  I guess I missed out on this deal, went again today to a diff one and still $5.. and sold out of deo.

The body washes were not $3 at my CVS they were indeed $5 a piece and only one particular scent was on sale. I still got 2 using the BOGO coupon. There were plenty in stock.

On a funny noet the dove deodorant along with axe was locked in a cabinet. I guess some people would steal anything.

    • Can someone tell me if this scenario will work?

      Buy:

      (4) Men+Care Deodorants $3 ea.

      Use:
      (4) -$2 off Dove Men+Care deodorant, 2.7-3 oz, RP 6/26

      Buy:

      (2) Dove Men+Care Body Wash $3 ea
      Use:
      -B1G1 Dove Men+Care body and face wash 13.5 oz + RP 6/26

      Total Due: $7
      Get Back: $5 ECB

I can't do Trans #1 as I only have 4 copies of each coupon.  Just wanting to make sure this will all fall under the correct category to get my ECB as the stores around here aren't very easy to deal with.  They aren't aware of any monthly deals and won't manually print ECB's unless the deal is listed specifically in the ad.
