There are all kinds of freebies this week at CVS!  Scan your CVS card at the coupon center as soon as you get in the store and you will get one or more of the following coupons:

Free Hershey’s Caramello Bar, 1.6 oz + (up to $1.19)
Free CVS Bandages, 20 ct., (up to $4.29)
Free Carefree Pantiliners, 20-22 ct.

Also if you missed it last week, you can still head over and “like” the minute clinic on Facebook to get a coupon for a FREE CVS Bodywash.

Don’t miss all the other deals at CVS this week.

Have you gotten any different free coupons this week from CVS?

    • jennaj81

the MInute Clinic bodywash coupon has been reset–so go grab abother one! yipee!

    • Laura

I got the free candy bar and bandaids at same visit. LOVE CVS!

      • Me too! Also, they didn't have the specified ones in stock so we asked the cashier and she told us we could get something different and the coupon would be honored.

Too bad the Caramello was STALE.

    • Theresa

Yep! Got all of them! Yippee!

    • I got all 3!

    • Ts Mama

$2 off $5 CVS tampon or pad purchase.

      Spent $0.77 on:
      1 box of tampons
      2 liners
      1 Caramello bar
      1 box of band aides
and I also picked up my $10 gas card from a few weeks back.

Donating liners, candy and band aides.  Not too shabby!
      Thanks CVS!

    • Pdms3

I got the carmello bar, and bandages, ( i got ones that were $3.59, and used the overage for baby powder.) I didn't get the carefree pantiliners, but i did get $1 off any pads, tampons, or liners.

    • natalie

i got the coupons for all three but i could only find the pantiliners. it was sort of hard to tell which bandages the coupon was for and then when i found them they were gone. :( i'm going back again today. couldn't find the caramello bar either.

      • sassafras

My CVS told me any regular size Hershey candy bar would work. Doesn't hurt to ask!

      • Liz

yeah, they're ringing up as ECBs….the system is not really checking that you have that EXACT item.  for example, a lady bought bandaids that were 3.29 but the coupon still took off 4.29.  they're just set up for the max value for whatever item it is.

    • Kelli

LOVE me some free stuff!  It made hubby's day when I got him the Carmelo…he was so pumped!  His favorite!  And, my daughter is bandaid happy (seriously) I should own stock in band aid brands) so she was elated with a box of free band aids.  The cashier said “you got that free”, my daughter said “Nu uh!” She couldn't believe we didn't pay for it!  But, now she goes down aisles asking, “Mom, is that free, is that free…”

    • Jcoupon

got the free Caramello and Fabric Bandages (works on any CVS brand 20 pack of Fabric bandages, heavy duty, finger/knuckle, I carred all three of the different 20 packs of CVS fabric bandages to the register with me, because i didnt know which one it was for, the cashier said pick the one you want, it works on any of them) yesterday, felt pretty good, walked in with a $5 extra buck and my card and a dollar bill (figured i'd have to buy one of the .35 candies at the register to get my total high enough to use the Extra buck) walked out with 5 of the Gatorade Fit Drinks, a caramello bar, and a pack of bandaids, another $5 extrabuck and .95 in change!

    • Katie Waters

Got them all and then realized that there were 220 calories in a Caramello! So I ate half of it and gave the other half to the garbage man! LOVE the free deals though!

    • CSat

went to CVS yesterday to stock up on paper towels and of course the coupon center was out of order.  I knew I was missing some good stuff.

    • chelle_2k

I got the caramello and the bandaids.  Cool thing was my bandaids were priced at $4.29 but they rang up at $3.69 and the coupon still gave me $4.29 off.  Got 4 packs of Huggies diapers, the caramello, the bandaids, a box of kotex pantyliners, and a $10 gas card for $5.43!

      • Lori

They adjusted mine down! I was disappointed because they don't normally do that!

        • Ctrinkle

According to the manager who was supervising the clerk, they are supposed to adjust it down.

          • Stacyannw

when i used my q it tried to only give me .99 off, so i had to tell them that it should have taken off the full price of the band-aids, so they had to adjust it up, so just watch out for that and make sure it takes off the full price

      • Jillanita

My bandages rang up the same way yours did at 3.69 and got the 4.29 off.  Was pleased with that little profit.

      • rosy

what coupon did u used for the huggies inorder to get it for 5.43

    • stephanie82

got mine as well as some free bodywash I got a coupon for in my e-mail went in with $23.00 in ECB's got all the freebies, a box of diapers, tampons, Head & Shoulders and Revlon nail polish for $6.67 and walked out with $10 in ECB's, probably my best trip to date

    • Wwkkss07

I “purchased” 2 Revlon nail polishes, 5 G2 Series Gatorade, an Airwick Starter Kit, CVS Bandages, Carefree Panty Liners, and a Carmello Bar for free!  I used my $5 off $25 CVS c, my 3 free CVS printed c, 2 $1 off Revlon c, and $4 off Airwick c along with $11 in EB and I paid nothing oop and got back $11 EB!

    • Liz

I got the bandaids and the caramello bar.  The cool thing was I had a “$2 off any first aid purchase” that printed from the coupon machine last week, and I asked the cashier if I could use both and it took both!  Apparently the “free coupons” are just ringing out like additional ECBs.  Awesome :)  I love CVS.

      • Stacyannw

oh i wish i would have tried that, i have that same q, oh well free is still a great deal

    • Yesterday, I got the free Carmello coupon (yum!) and the free bandage coupon – but they didn't have any bandages in stock. The coupon expires today, so I'll check back today!

      • Michelle

Shannon my store was out of all 20ct.  My cashier told me that I could get any CVS brand as long as it didn't exceed the maximum amount allowed (I think 4.29). I got the 30ct Flexible ones.  Ask if they will sub.

      • Debbie Marie

        Hey Shannon
My CVS just give me a different kind of CVS brand on the band-aids.

    • Lori

Can I do 2 gas card deals in one week? They let me substitute another CVS bandaid with similar price when they were out of the free ones.

      • Cl3v3rgirl33

I have the same question. Does anyone know?

        • Maddin

As far as their add states you can only get one gas card per week per household. Pesonally I have one card for my wife and one for myself. With that you could get the gas card twice. You just have to watch what items you buy with what card to stay on track. If they have good promotions I do the same twice with each card but use mine mostly to get the 2% per quarter for the main card.

    • Megan

I got all three coupons and they actually had everything in stock!

      • Csvig

        Me too!!

        • Luvspugs

          Me three!

    • Bncjunkmail

Has anyone been today yet? Do they have different free stuff for today?

      • Starlingcoupons

No; I checked when I was out earlier.

    • Mjae

I received the following yesterday morning:Free Carefree Pantiliners – 20 ct;Free Tampon, Pads or Pantiliners (up to $5.00);Free CVS Fabric Bandages (up to $4.29)
Free Caramello.  I asked the manager which brand I needed to get to use the free tampon, pad or pantiliner coupon.  He stated I could get any brand since it didn't say a specific brand.  I ended up only paying .29 cents for a box of tampons and they credited me the full 4.29 for the bandages even though they rang up at $3.59.  About  $13 dollars worth of free stuff!

    • Kp_coupon_catcher

I got all of those! I only “cashed in” the free hershey's caramello bar, and have yet to get the other two ?

    • LizD

I tried to scan mine the other day and it said to come back later.
      :(

      • Diannascoupon

It will do that when you've already scanned your card that day.  If it gives you that message again, I would check to see if someone else is using one of your extra cards.  I had lost my original card and and figured someone might find it and take advantage of getting my quarterly ecbs so I called corporate and they switched it all to a brand new card.

    • KyleMuller

I païd $21.87 for an iPad 2 32-GB and my girlfriend loves her Panasonic Lumix GF 1 Camera that we got for $ 38.76 there arriving tomorrow by UPS. I will never pay such expensive retail prices in stores again. Especially when I also sold a 40 inch LED TV to my boss for $ 657 which only cost me $ 62.81 . Here is the site we use to get it al from, http://to.ly/aWOP

    • Carshonsky

I went this morning and they have the same coupons as yesterday! =)

    • Diannascoupon

Mine only printed out the free bandaids and free Cadbury bar.  But I did the most awesome deals this sunday and walked VERY HAPPY!  I had a $10 ecb leftover from last weeks purchase of Crest Whitestrips, plus had a $5 off $25 purchase that printed from the machine from last week.  So I took advantage of the $10 gas card.  My total rung up $42.90, then I used all my cottonelle cpns, etc, and then the money-off, plus $10 ecb and paid only $12 oop, AND then walked out with a $10 gas card!!  SCOOORRRE!  LOL

      • Melissa_b_20906

        WOW!  That's fantastic!!

    • Diannascoupon

Did anyone have any problem with getting the G2 Fit series drinks?  My local store said they don't get these in stock, so when I traveld to visit family in another city, I shopped the Chatt. CVS and it wouldn't kick out the $5 ecb, and I suspect it was b/c the Fit 1 drink was the little foil packet not the bottle and it rung up the wrong price.  The checker forced printed it, but I never insist on the store doing that, but thot maybe this particular deal didn't go as planned.  Anyone else have any problem?

      • Kayshialee

i have not been able to find them here in Hickory, NC. I've gone to 4 stores already!

        • JA

I found mine in the refrigerated section next to the cokes.

      • savingmoney11

They were on an end ap display in the middle of the store next to the greeting card displays. It was signed for $1.99 each but when they rang up the were $1 and printed my $5ecbs

    • Jdehart

I never seem to get the same coupons from the machine that are listed. Is this regional and based on your sales?

    • Shannon

I just had to stop by my CVS today and got another $3 off huggies slip-on diapers

      • Cathy

I got the same coupon, printed out today! Wish my CVS had the slip-on diapers!! Hope they get some in soon! I will check back tomorrow and just maybe another $3 off may print out again!

        • Maara91

My cvs let me use the coupons for the regular little movers dipers

          • Annaforcoupons

mine let me use them on pull ups since they don't have them yet

    • Margo Teresa

got two of the three…no panty liners…bet that has something to do with the fact that I'm listed as Mr. rather than Ms. lol

      • 4boysmom

Change your cvs account settings online to female and see if that works.  I just changed mine because my card is in my husband's name.  Will go to CVS tomorrow and see if my 3rd freebie prints.  Worth a try.

        • LeAnn

Funny – my card is also in my husband's name and I got the band aids and the candy bar! Never thought about that.

        • Savinlotsamoney

My coupons always print out Mr. as well.  I have changed it 10 times on my online profile, with no affect.  My mom laughs at me about it, because it frustrates me to no end!

          • Savinlotsamoney

Thought I would give it one more shot.  I found it under the ExtraCare card section, instead of in the CVS.com section.  Maybe that will fix it, and my mom will quit laughing at me. :)

          • 4boysmom

Thanks.  Saves me from trying 10 times :)

          • Valerie Alley

My card is in my husbands name, and I didnt get the pantyliner’s either. So when my mom went, I thought surely she’d get it, and could get them for me, but she didnt get the liner Q either. we got the others though.

    • I got the free panty liners, bandaids, and the caramello bar (all in stock except for the caramello). The coupon center also printed out a $3 off any revlon cosmetic purchase, so I used that for 2 nail polishes @ 4.99 Each…used 2 1/1 coupons and a 5 ecb my total was .78 cents…and got $6 ecbs back!!!

    • Megortiz63

last week when I redeemed the Free Body Wash coupon, it took off $3 instead of the $2.27 price tag. The clerk said, ” well you can't argue with a bar code!” I got a candy bar with the overage!

      • Ylevans1982

        I noticed the same thing!!!

    • Destiny691966

I only got the bandaids and caramello bar here in North Florida, could always use free pantyliners though.

    • Brandy

I got all three coupons today when I scanned my card!

    • Mem

my store had no more carmello! i asked the cashier and he said i could just pick up any candy bar! it rings up any candy bar free! :)

    • Maara91

I got all the coupons, but all were out of stock .

      • Tendks

That happened to me too :(

      • Snowski824

Sometimes they substitute other things. When there were no Cadbury eggs at easter with that freebie they let me get any easter candy for free.

      • Michael

it was probably planned that way

    • Rudy6

I got the band-aid , caramello and body wash. Just paid tax! Love freebies!
      Thanks Jenny!

    • Cary

I'm in North Florida. I got the Carmello, CVS Bandages and a “Free Pads, Tampons or Pantyliners up to $5.” No brand specified, so I got a $4.99 box of Tampax. My total was .25 cents. Scanned my greenbag card and got “.25 cents” back that way.

    • Ladymoon0121

Nope no free coupons at all this week. No clue why not.. I called the number to ask why and the lady on the phone was rude. I have got the free coupons in the past.

    • Hannah G.

Something I noticed when I recieved my coupons sunday. I got all 3 of the freebies jenny mentioned above BUT the bandaids I bought were like $3.79 BUT it took off the full $4.29 off! So I took off an extra .50cents!!

      • Deanna

My bandaid coupons did the same and took off $4.29 instead of the $3.79.  What surprised me even more was the I received an extra 20% off of them ($0.76) for the type of ExtraCare card I have.  So I ended up earning $1.26 to buy it.  Thank goodness I had extra in my order to take up the overeage.

And the 20% off is from a company I used to work for had a healthcare incentive with CVS where every employee in the company was given a special ExtraCare card and it was good for 20% off of store-brand items.  i didn't even realize that it still worked for that, I haven't worked there in a couple of years.  Glad I activated the card while I worked there though!

    • savingmoney11

Got $3 off revelin cosmetic today at the kiosk when I scanned my cvs card. Does that include the nail polish that has ecbs this week or just makeup items?

    • Mvtdeals

Yes I got same 4.29 off for 3.79 bandaids , also got w/ caramello (free), bodywash (free coupon), nail polish (red machine $2 off),  NM flaxseed oil w/ coupons from red machine for $4 – all for .69 ( less than the tax on what I bought).  Then I used a $3/15 off for groceries from magic red machine to get a good deal on pepsi- #6 12 packs for $10.01 (used $3/15and $3 ECB from nailpolish).  I like CVS the more I shop there :)

    • Alyssa

I went today and got a coupon for free Hershey's Bar and and the Bandages.  They were out of both, but used the coupons for any CVS brand of bandages and any $1.19 Hershey's bar. :-)

    • TLF

So weird.  I scanned my card twice and got no coupon for something free.  I will try again another day.

      • Lay May

I seem to always have the same problems. I never get the freebies from the magic machine!

    • Coupongirl1203

does anyone know the expiration on the freebie coupons this week?

      • MarySC

I got mine on Sunday and they expired today (Monday).
The facebook body wash one expires on the 20th, and you must request it by the 17th “or until supplies last”.

      • Dtcox

its one day after you scan your card . went today mine said exp 8-16-11

    • Kelly

I was given all three, Free Hershey’s Caramello Bar, 1.6 oz + (up to $1.19)Free CVS Bandages, 20 ct., (up to $4.29)Free Carefree Pantiliners, 20-22 ct.

       Great day at CVS!

    • Michael

they had no bandages or candy bars at my CVS, surprise surprise

      • hope

I guess rainchecks would not work on these freebies because by the time they get more in stock the Coupon would be expired?. Does anyone know?  I am still waiting on them to get the skinny cow candy bar in from a few weeks ago.

        • Amybunce3

Ask your CVS if they will substitute. Mine does.

        • JO

My CVS told me to hold on to the bandaid coupons and they would honor them when the next truck came in on Thursday.

      • alliepeyton

My CVS was out of the 20 ct bandages, but let us substitute a different version…

    • mommyloveskids

      NONE in my store!

      • 4boysmom

Mine let me substitute another cvs bandaid and any other hershey bar with same price.  Got the coupons yesterday, but they were expiring today.  I simply asked the cashier what I needed to do since the coups were expiring and she said substitute items.

    • Judy- NC

Got  the free band aids and carmello candy bar…no free liners…

    • Susanizanurse

I picked up a cheap package of bandaids & used the overage to buy Pepsi products. I did two transactions & got 2 boxes bandaids, 2 caramello bars, 1 bottle CVS body wash (free from minuteclinic), & five 2L Diet Pepsis & spent a total of 37 cents!

    • Kelly32675

      I got all 3! :-)

    • Felina

How does the coupon for the free body wash get sent to you?  Does it load on your card?

      • Cathy

I got a coupon off of Facebook after I liked the page that was emailed to me. I just printed it out.

    • Dtcox

    • Amber

Hubby stopped by the magic redbox for me on his way home from work. What did I get? $3 off huggies slip ons so that stacked with my $3 man q makes for new huggies for my little man FOR $2.99 (when they stock the shelves of course)

      • Couponsforheather

I used the $2 slip on coupon from CVS yesterday for Snug and Dry because Slip-ons not in stock.  Went through without a hitch.

    • Kristagantt

      Got mine.  Enjoy!

    • Lauren

I got 2 out of the 3 coupons, but the store was out of stock of both items :(   The coupons expire tomorrow.

      • Cross2stitch2003

My store was also out of the items but told me they would honor them when the ittems came in….even if they are expired.

    • CouponDad

I got it but I guess someone has decided that they needed all 200 Caramello Bars! There has to be some kind of couponing rules because I am get tired of preparing for a deal going and they are out of stock, yea I can get a rain check unless my coupon expires in two days!  Lame!!

      • Amybunce3

My store lets you substitute on their coupons. Just ask.

      • Magzhood

Depending on what store you go to, if they are out of the item that is free you can get an idea that is comparable. Example: the Caramello bar is a Hersey product so you can get a Hersey bar that is 1.19 instead. Most store will work with you!

      • Jmo24849

My cvs manager will initial my coupons if they are out of a item and my coupon is expiring…then the cashier normally takes them without question. Ask if they will do that for you.

      • Judy

I do like getting rainchecks because that helps me from losing my extrabucks because of expiring.  Sometimes I even get a coupon that I would not have had..
But it is upsetting to have a coupon that expires the next day, like these caramello and bandaid coupons, a raincheck will not help.  So we are just out of luck, but upset. Cvs should help us with this. I did get the caramello, but no bandaids.

    • Kjg61

I got all three of the freebies today at CVS!

    • AlexJames987379

I just p a i d $21.87 for an i P a d 2-64GB and my boyfriend loves his Panasonîc Lumîx GF 1 Camera that we got for $38.76 there arriving tomorrow by UPS.I will never pay such expensive retail prices in stores again. Especially when I also sold a 40 inch LED TV to my boss for $657 which only cost me $62.81 to buy.
Here is the website we use to get it all from,

    • lowes91

can anyone tell me what the “greenbag” is??

      • Ang

It is a cloth bag that you bring to put your items in once you have purchased them.  It's to save on paper/plastic.  CVS has what they call a green bag tag that they will scan every time you bring your bag from home.  I think you get $1 ECB every 4th time it is scanned. You can purchase their bag or use your own if you already have one.  You will need to get the green bag tag from your CVS store.  I think it costs $1, but if you watch the sales, sometimes they have it where you get back the ECB for how much it costs.  Hope that is not confusing.

      • Judy

It is worth buying the bag tag, it cost 1.00, but you quickly get it back and then your making extrabucks.  Have cashier scan your bag tag (You need a reuseable cloth bag to use with the bag tag, it can be a bag from anystore) every 4th time you have bagtag scanned you get 1.00 EB.  You can get coupons sometimes out of the red box machine annd get the bag tag free or for .50cents.  If you cvs alot you are losing money by not doing the bagtag. The bag tag is a plastic green leaf you find near the cash register.  A reuseable bag can be found at anystore usually for .50 to a 1.00. HTH

        • Jme9190

You dont always need to have a “reuseable bag with you. I often go in to get one or two things and either carry it out without a bag or throw it in my purse if its small enough. Or if you have a binder like I do for coupons that you carry in a bag, you can just throw it in the same bag till you get in the car. Basically, they dont want you to use their plastic bags. HTH

    • Katietribble

I went to my local CVS yesterday, but the coupon machine as out of order.  Drove 20 mins to neighboring city and got the free cvs fabric bandages and free carmello bar.  They were out of both, but was able to sub cvs xlarge fabric bandages and also a Heath bar.   Also used my free body wash coupon from Facebook…paid $0.00 out of pocket for $7.25 worth of stuff!

      • Guest

        you paid for gas…

      • Pbretz1970

I tried the same.. my CVS w as out of bandages & carmello bar but was able to sub for any other CVS bandages & 2 kit kats also got the free body wash.  cashier took $3.00 off for body wash, $2.69 for the bandages (not the $4.29 coupon mentioned) & then only $.49 for the kit kats, guess I should have used some “filler” items but still not too shabby – only paid $0.02 for everything. I’m new to all this couponing so not sure if I did something wrong..

I went on Sunday with my $3 ECB that was emailed to me last week and the coupon for free bodywash.  When I got to the store I scanned my card and got the free carmelo candy bar coupon and the free CVS brand bandages (up to 20 ct.).  I got a gallon of milk, bodywash, bandages and the carmello candy bar for $.03.  I had to get a 10ct of bandages because the 20ct was sold out and the register took off more than the price and then still had to adjust down the candybar price so I wasn't getting money back.  Not sure how the register finally came up with the amount of $.03 but I was happy to pay that for those 4 items.  Where else can you get milk for so cheap?  I Love CVS!

I love CVS! The nicest people work there, who will go out of their way to help you save the most money possible and get excited for you when you do save a lot! They were so nice when I walked in and were telling people to scan their card and they'll get two free items, then took us to the items. They were out of the bandages, so they found a different box and honored it without a problem. They're so much better than Walgreens!

I love CVS too! I ran in there on my lunch break because I knew they were having the freebie coupons but of course they were out. But the cashier told me that they would honor for any Hersey's product and CVS band-aid of the same value. I got a reese's cup and some CVS Elmo band-aids that my son is going to love! Thanks CVS! Oh no! I forgot my free body wash!

    • SCTeach28

I got all three of these coupons. I was able to get the pantiliners and bandaids but they were sold out of the candy bars so I will have to go back to find it! :)

      • Carolina Coupon Mom

The cashier told me it worked on any Hershey bar.

      • Amanda

My CVS manager approved to substitute any Hershey’s bar that is regularly $1.19. They are soooo coupon friendly at my CVS! They didn’t have the new Huggies slip-ons so they let me use my coupons on the regular Huggie’s little movers although they specifically stated that they were only for the new slip-ons!

      • Liz5979

I was also able to substitute w/ any Hershey bar under 1.19. I got Cookies n Creme! Mmm   Try and substitute it

    • AmyLeigh540

I got the band aids…caramello bar…body wash….and scanned my card today and got a 3.00 on diapers and a 4.00 on a diaper and wipe purchase…woohoo….thats sweet on top of my 3.00 huggies from the sat paper and the gas deal……I do have a question though….If I get three packs of diapers at 8.99 and one pack of wipes at 3.00 my total is 29.97….I have to have 30.00 for the gas card. Does this qualify before taxes or after taxes?

      • Lay May

Before, we ran into this problem once, but it can be multiple transactions, so you can do that and have time to search around for a tiny filler

        • AmyLeigh540

Thank you. That stinks to be 3 cents away. LOL I searched around and decided to get some more of the water since I was able to find a 1.00 coupon. Gotta love CVS!!!!! They Rock!!!!

      • Nina36701

$29.97 was the exact amount on my receipt that qualified for the gas card.

      • Joan

Thank YOU for the tip on the $3 and $4 coupons for diaper and wipes. Woo Hoo I got those coupons today at the red price checker machine and found some generic brand of diapers ” Just The Basics ” for 75% off = $1.49 each.  ( The clearance shelf tag said 50% off ) Thank you CVS!

Someone left their free coupons at the red box!!!  Can I used someone else’s coupons with my card?!

      • deecheers4rv

No they are linked to the card.

        • Jenny

my cvs let me use my  friend’s ecb eventhough it wasn’t on my name. i just told them that my friend gave it to me, and they honored it.

I went to get my free items yesterday. I had coupons for the body wash, bandaids, liners, & candy bar. My store was out of the bandaids & 20 ct liners, so they let me get a different CVS bandaid & the 22 ct liners (which were the same price). I just happened to notice on facebook that the Big Chill waters were BOGO and I had 2–50 cent coupons for those and I had a manuf. coupon for 50 cents off the liners. When they checked me out the bandaid coupon took off the full allowed amount instead of the actual price so I had to grab a butterfinger to bring me out of the negative. I ended up with 15 cents plus tax for a total of 47 cents. I could have kicked myself though when I realized at checkout I left my bag with my bag tag on it at home. Oh well, still a great trip though. I’m so glad I switched from Rite Aid to CVS.

I always keep a few bags with bag tags on them in my car. I also have a bag tag on my key ring so if I forget my bag, I still have them scan it and I just carry my stuff in hand, but if it is too much stuff, I will sit my buggy aside and run out to my car and get a bag. I use to get so mad at myself for forgetting.

I didn’t know you could have more than one bag tag (I’m still new to CVS shopping). I need to be better about keeping my bags in my van in general. I have tons of reusable shopping bags and prefer them over the plastic bags at Publix b/c they always rip on me, but I always forget them. I guess I need to make it a habit when we unload the groceries I send one of the kids to put them back in the van instead of just leaving them in the kitchen.

          • Jenny

            what is a bag tag?

            • couponmama

It’s a tag you buy at cvs for 99cents, and you can have it scanned each time you shop with a “green bag” (once per day). After 4 trips, you get $1 ECB!

          • Motleyfamsave

As a manager explained to me you can have more than one but all bag tags have the same barcode and it goes along with your CVS card. I was told you can scan it “once per day” or “once per visit per store”. It isn’t like you can have lets say 4 bag tags and say you separate your trip into several transactions you can’t scan the bag tag per transaction supposedly it will only accept it once. I got 2 initially thinking I could scan both each time and thus reach the 1.00 ECB after 4 scans quicker….. Not how it works so I put one on my key ring as well just in case!!

            • Anonymous

oh ok. i knew it was a one scan per day thing, but i didn’t know they all had the same bar code. thanks for that info.

            • Judy

Yes all bag tags have the same barcode.  But I bought two when it started and then I got two free, so now I have 3 bags with bag tags on them and then one on my keyring, so I don’t ever miss out on scanning my bag tag.  It is “once per visit per store per day” you can go to different stores in the same day and scan the bag tag and it will count twice etc.  I love this bag tag.

            • Anonymous

thats not true i work there and we have another cvs down the road and if they scan their card there on the same day.. then come to our store it will say it has reached its one a day limit!! I have worked there for two years this is true!! If you have multiple cvs cards then you could per card…but not multiple bag tags with the same card!! Happy couponing!!!

          • judy

When I unpack my groceries and my CVS stuff, I lay my bags on my dryer and before bed I make a point to go put them in the car otherwise I would always leave them at home.  But with me having 3 bags with bag tags usually there is always one left in my car, incase I am to lazy to put them back in the car. lol

I called CVS customer service # today. There is a Huggies promotion going on until Dec 31st. Buy 6 Jumbo packs get 1 free. No limit to how many times you can do this deal! But beware, when you make a diaper purchase it does not show on the receipt until 48 hrs later. Today made my 14th pack of Huggies toward this promotion but the receipt only says “9”…..until Friday then when I make a purchase a “free jumbo pack” will print on my receipt.I LOVE CVS.

    • Jakm77

I am new to CVS and was wondering if they have a limit on items that can be purchased with a coupon each time? For instance, Harris Teeter 3 like items 3 coupons per transaction.

      • Cyndi

        No limit!

    • Awnorton

My cvs has tide stain release gel 25% off. There was a $1.50 off coupon in the paper a week ago. Combine this w $2 cvs bucks and you get 33 cents back.

    • I just found out about the CVS Advisor Panel today from reading a post someone else wrote… I’ve been couponing and using this site for about 3 months now and hadn’t heard of it before… I also can’t find anything in the CVS guides about it on this site… its http://www.cvsadvisor.com. Has anyone else successfully done this? And what is the ECB earning potential? Thanks :-)

      • Erin

Its great, every now and then they send an email invite for a survey.  The last one I did asked me to compare the CVS and Walgreen’s ads in the Sunday paper.  It took about 15 minutes and earned me 10ECBs.

I just received an email for 25% off my entire purchase, excluding clearance, food through 8/21.  Yeah!

      • Sofia

When I printed mine it actually states through 8/19. tricky tricky!

    • Bamasaver

Scanned my card today & got a $2/2 shampoo/conditioner/styling products (excluding salon)–think I’ll get my daughter a couple of VO5 shampoos (her favorite) which are normally $0.99 each, making them free.

    • clicked like and did not get a coupon!
