CVS has a new booklet some of you might have already found.  If you check near the pharmacy or the minute clinic look for a booklet with $100 in coupons.

It is supposed to be for anyone that gets a flu shot but the weekly ad states that no purchase is necessary to get it!!  (I’m not a fan of shots, esp the flu shot but I like coupons!)

They are all reported to be CVS coupons and expire on 12/31.

Is there anyone who would get me one of these with yours? I have a CVS here that NEVER gets any of these booklets. I wonder if the Auto refill one is still out? You can email me at Troycharn4boys@juno.com

      Thank you, Charlotte

Does CVS stack coupons? CVS plus manufacturers?

The ones around me do-Acworth, Dallas, Woodstock GA.

    • Yes! You can use a CVS coupon and a manufacturer coupon on the same item AND you can also use the $x off $xx CVS coupons too if your total is high enough. Some people say that their CVS takes competitor coupons, but none of the locations near me do (NE Atlanta).

      Charlotte in SC,
Go to the Traders page and post a WANT ad for the booklets :)

I have checked at two CVS pharmacies in NC & they look at me like I’m nuts when I asked about this booklet. Can anyone help me locate a booklet????

      Hey ladies,
I had difficulty getting the last CVS coupon book that was for the refill program too. Though I kept hearing that I just needed to ask about it to get one, my pharmacy refused to give one out unless I was in the program. I was SO disappointed. THEN, I happened to notice that the CVS ad actually said, “get the booklet just for inquiring”. I had to actually show them the ad to get the book. But, it worked. Got my book! If you know they have them, show them the ad..

I had no problem getting the pharmacy auto-refill booklet. The flu shot booklets are only in stores with Minute Clinics, though (as far as I can tell). So I went to the nearest one today, waiting in “line” beside the clinic door, then asked for one. The nurse said I had to get a flu shot for it. I said, “But the radio ad says you can get one just for stopping by and the booklet says ‘No purchase necessary’.” She said, “I know, but we’re not allowed to give them out unless you get a flu shot anyway.” I know that’s not correct (unless some store manager made a new policy), and it ticks me off, but I’m not sure what I could do about it. She literally wouldn’t give me any other consideration…

So what could be done in that situation?

      • Becky

Get a flu shot! It says CVS flu shot booklet.

    • Cassia

Update – I called the store to find out where the policy of not giving them out without a flu shot came from and ended up talking to a cashier (since the nurse was with a patient). I told her that I’d been there earlier today and the nurse said I couldn’t get it without a flu shot, but that the ad specifically said “No purchase necessary” and I was wondering what was going on. She said the problem was conflicting messages. She said an insert in the box of coupons specifically told the nurses to give the booklet only to those who got the shot, but then said that if the ad said otherwise she would go in and get a booklet for me and hold it at the front desk. She was very nice! Just wanted to pass that along in case anyone else ran into that. I doubt the nurse would have budged given her demeanor, but the cashier was quite willing to follow the ad.

Go to Walgreens for your flu shot, they are giving them DAILY from 10 am to 4 PM in EVERY store, there aren’t many CVS’s that have a Minute Clinic PLUS I found out that if you get your shot with Walgrees and you are a new patient, you will get a $25 check to transfer a prescription. Most of us have at least 1 prescription. I figure the $25 offsets the cost of the shot… not a bad deal. I am getting pretty tired of CVS anyway. They just built a new Walgreens last week and I went in just to check it out, I have to admit…. I liked the store layout a lot more, much brighter and they had a better selection of products.

I got my flu shot today in Lex and they were out of the booklets. It seems people are getting them without getting the flu shot. Well, that doesn’t seem right. Why should I get poked with a needle and someone else doesn’t but gets the rewards?
