CVS Money Trasher Gift Card
If you are like me, you work hard to never waste an Extra Care Buck from CVS.

Now you can turn your frugal mindset into a chance to win CVS giftcards!! Now through January 31, CVS is hosting an I’m Not a MoneyTrasher photo contest. It’s pretty simple to enter and the prizes are huge – more than $11,000 in gift cards will be given out!

The Grand Prize is a $2,000 CVS/pharmacy giftcard.  I can’t even imagine how far we could stretch that in our house.

The goal of the contest is to help you keep track of your ECB’s through their new Send it or Print it programs, so enter by submitting a fun photo of how you use/redeem your bucks.

To enter:

Like the CVS Facebook page and enter a creative photo.  The first 20 random winners will be picked on Monday January 16th so hurry to increase your chances!

If your photo is really great and you end up in the top 100 votes, you will win even more prizes. (Hint: You can have friends vote too!)

I went to CVS today to get the deal buy $30 and get $10 promo since I had All, dove, carmex, listerine and finish coupons. Sso since I had a manufacturer’s coupon for $1 off the little listerine paks from Walgreen’s that expired today. I wanted to use. It took at least 10 times repeating “it’s not a Walgreen’s coupon,  it is a manufacturer’s coupon printed by Walgreen’s, please just try it!” before I got my coupon scanned! LOL! then the cashier kept saying, “I probably will get in trouble for taking that one, I guess Walgreen’s will pay us the $1”, I said again, no you won’t get in trouble, the manufacturer will pay the $1.  OMG what part of MANUFACTURER’S coupon do you not understand??????????????

I know. I have the same problem. They should be trained to understand the rules.

On “black Friday” I took my college-age daughter shopping at CVS and taught her how to coupon the Southern Saver’s way. Before we went, I had her go through the list to select the items she needed.  When we got there, we discovered that shehad used the wrong week’s list. She was devasted and ready to throw in the towel. We work off the list that I had and she ended up getting some great deals. I took her picture as the Walgreen manager, cashier and a couple of customers congratulated her on  her great deals!  I posted the picture and would love it it you could vote for her picture. Couponing has been a true blessing for both of us!

    • I notice you don’t have a coupon matchup for the Dollar General or Family Dollar stores. I haven’t had a chance to get in there lately, but I notice they almost always have a Saturday coupon, good for $5 off a $25 order and they take manufacturer’s coupons as well, which can generate some healthy deals & discounts.
      Is this something you’ve considered?
