Love this mag, but I have such trouble locating it!

      • Redracer114

at our CVS they are usually on the magazine racks

    • Ashlina17

      Where do you find them?

      • tina t

At my CVS in Greenwood, I have found them on shaving/deod/toothpaste isle. Laying flat on a shelf. Haven’t looked lately but that’s where I’ve seen them in the past.

      • I have seen them in the cosmestic area, up front by the newpaper rack and in the magazine aisle. The ones I find in my area (MD) are all expired.  If you do see one, check the expiration dates on the coupons before you buy.  I was so excited to see one that I bought it without checking and ended up buying expired coupons.

    • Alyson

I’ve never been able to find it either!

      • Anonymous

I look every time I go into CVS, but they never have/had them….they didn’t even know what I was talking about.  However, a few years ago a new CVS opened and when I went to their “grand opening” I found the magazine.  I was so excited!!  I think the magazine must have been sent to them for the grand opening, or they must have ordered it and didn’t know what it was, or maybe they didn’t know how to order it again or something like that, because they never had it again after that one issue!!

It’s pretty bad when the managers have no idea what I’m talking about!

    • AWS

Anybody seen these in Charleston area?

      • When I lived in Summerville, I was able to find them in the Main Street CVS.  That was the only CVS I could find them in.  They had them laying above the magazines and I just happened to look up.  The cashier was suprised when she saw it so maybe they were trying to hide them.

    • Vickifl05

      are they free???

      • Kerry72nc

no but they are cheap .99 each. This issue doesn’t have many coupons in it compared to the last issue.

    • Jgutierrez

I just left CVS they did not have them I wil try te one close to home

    • WAWA

This sounds like a pretty good deal to get the mag. for $.99 and to get $24 in coupons….Can somone tell me how often they are put out in the stores? And if anyone is shopping in the Newberry and Balentine areas where they have found them? Thanks :)

Where can you find it in Birmingham/ Tuscaloosa Area?

      • Anonymous

That would be great to know. I have been to several Birmingham stores with no luck. I even called customer service back in September and was told that they would inform the regional manager about getting some in stores here. So far nothing has changed.

    • Mcleodsc

The CVS stores in Sumter, SC never have this magazine. I emailed CVS last month and they sent me the last issue free. I emailed CVS today and asked again and they are mailing me the new issue and contacting the regional manager to make sure that the magazines will be available in the stores. I would suggest emailing CVS if your store does not carry the magazine.

      • cm0219

where did you send the e-mail to?

        • Mcleodsc

go to cvsdotcom and use the contact us email form.

    • couponmama3

Has anyone seen these in the Asheville area? My closest store doesn’t have them…

    • Tenika

i’m in GA and my CVS told me they don’t carry these magazines

      • Guest

I live in GA too and have been able to buy them.  It is hit or miss though depending on the store.  They are also hard to find.  Sometimes they are by the Pharmacy.  I have 4 CVS Stores in my area and only one of them carries this magazine.

        • Guest

Another location in the store I have found them is over by the cosmetics.  On one of the glass shelves in a magazine rack, but most of the time it has been by Pharmacy.

      • Carol

i bought one last night at the cvs in cumming, ga on bethelview rd

      • Elizabeth

I live in south metro Atlanta and none of the CVS stores in our area carry them anymore either.

      • Malissa

        not true

    • Amanda

My CVS manager told me these magazines are for employees only.

      • allen5577

        That is aweful!

    • Saveamymoney

I live in Texas, and the last time I bought this magazine every coupon was expired }:(

      • That happened to me once.  My store only seems to carry the old ones.  I have given up on finding the newer ones.

      • Ginger

You need to look inside at the coupons before buying it because some of the old books are still for sale as I saw some today and yes they had expired coupons but I learned to look in the book to be sure I was getting the newest one

    • Be Respectful

I am a CVS Store Manager. I have no issues with the coupons. There are only 2 things I ask; 1. Don’t come in on Saturday and expect Sundays price. (I just got a complaint because a coupon person wanted tomorrow’s price today) The ad does not start till Sunday. 2. If you are going to do multiple transaction, please be respectful to the others in line. In the majority of stores there is only 1 cashier, be respectful and go to the end of the line.

      • Mcleodsc

Some CVS stores activate the sales early. If your store does not then please tell the customers that you do not activate early and that will solve the problem. The stores here DO activate the sales at a particular time on Saturday evening. As for doing multiple transactions-I usually do only one or two. The exception was Black Friday. I think most couponers are respectful and if there was a line I would hope that after two transactions that any shopper would go to the end of the line.  My pet peeve with CVS is that sometimes you do not have enough inventory. If I can see the ads online weeks early then why can’t the stores anticipate that they will need more stock for a particular week.

        • Sniperella80

I am always respectful of the others in line, in fact I stood and waited 30 minutes for a line of people to clear through so that I could do my transactions.  If someone walks in before I am done, I move back to the end of the line.  I agree that a huge frustration I have is the lack of stock and inventory in these stores.  I see things in the ad, and never find them in the store.  I have been able to get rain checks though so that is a plus.  Maybe you should consider posting a sign for customers with multiple transactions, if there is a line to move to the end, or just politely request that they do so!  We will!

          • Be Respectful

I unfortunately cannot speak for other manager, I can only speak for myself. I spend hours going over the promotional ordering and in our district, even send out a list to the other stores going over the things that are on sale. To answer a few questions, a store can get in serious trouble for activating an ad early. You actually have to do several overides to make that happen. In the market I am in, a store manager can get in very serious trouble for starting ads early. Would a person go into a Walmart, Target, Kroger, BiLo or any other of these major stores and expect them to give them next weeks sale price on a Saturday, the answer is a resounding no. As to the instock, the main issue is the ones that are buying the large bulk quantities. For example, I had a customer this past week doing the pledge deal, we had it 2/6 and some extrabucks and manufactures coupons. She purchased 18 cans (what are you going to do with 18 cans of pledge?). She had multiple CVS cards and wiped me out. I tried to limit the transaction and she called Corp. and complained.  Many of the coupons say one per purchase or transaction, So if pledge was 2/6 and we went by the rules, you would only be able to use 1 manufacture coupon. All of the CVS eb deals pretty much say 1 per household. If you are going to buy a large quantity, get with your store manager and see if they will order extra. My whole reason for even posting this was the complaint that was called in against me and my store for not giving Sundays prices on Saturday morning. The customer specifically said that Southern Savers said they could make early purchases. All I was asking was to be respectful to the policies and procedures that are in place to help both the customer and the company.

            • Carolinaworldbook

I do agree about someone not needing 18 cans of plege. One thing I get aggravated about is the $10 gas card with $30 purchase but then the only bigger items on it are paper towels or cereal. I have bought $20 in cereal and $10 in other items to get to the $30 because we will eventually eat all the cereal. It is a lot of cereal to buy at one time, but it was one of the only items on the deal that I would use. It would be nice to see more of a variety of things on that deal besides nuts and candy.

            • Melemeg

I just want to say that my experience with CVS is only POSITIVE.  My store usually has all the products and the employees including the managers are super respectful and helpful.  And I agree with the manager above — who needs 18 bottles of pledge?  Couponers who purchase so many things give the rest of us who are just trying to provide for our families a bad name.  Thank you, Sir, and thank you CVS for helping hadworking families save $.

            • Charity

I too have found that things seem to not be in the shelves. Of course I know from shopping in my area…I am a new couponer…that it was the work of shelf clearers!  Thanks for clargying that!

            • Ginger

I don’t think a person should be allowed to use several cards, I can see maybe two one for themselves and maybe one for a parent if they are making purchases for them but I hate when people are allowed to do that because then there are no products left for the rest of us

            • james147

thank you for the professional attitude towards your customers and the cvs. i hate shelf clearers.

      • Alsobrook

And I will add that stores that do activate Sunday’s ad on Saturday’s also will not honor Saturday’s ad once they switch over the system even thought the ad says it runs through Saturday.  That annoys me terribly.  Still love CVS.

    • Banec63

Where I can find CVS beauty magazine please?

    • Leslie

      How much are they?

    • Rebekah A Kenny

Where can I find this magazine?  It seems non-existent.

      • Ginger

They are usually kept by the cash register where other maganizes for sale are

    • Essie Lee

I have been to alot of stores in middle Tennessee and they do not carry the magazine.  The manager of my store called around to several stores and was told they never get them.  She found one store on the other side of Nashville and the manager there said they sometimes get 1 or 2. She even tried to get one for me with no luck.  I just ignore these deals.

    • Yardgirl74

I went to stores in my area also ( West Palm Beach Florida). They do not have them even asked the cashier she said she has never seen the magazine.
