If you shop at CVS, be sure to sign-up to have your quarterly Extra Care Bucks doubled! They will be doubled 9/16-12/15.

This is a great way to make all of the CVS deals even better! You must spend at least $12.50 on eligible front store items by 12/15 to get the deal.

The Double Rewards are not valid on ExtraBucks Rewards offers in the weekly ad, but are based on how much you spend.

The rewards will print on your receipt 1/1-2/15. You do need to sign-up to be eligible though.

This may be a stupid question, but what do you mean front store items?

      • mom2kurlyt

I believe this refers to items not behind the pharmacy counter.

I was going to ask the same question :)

FYI: I had read in several comments from SS users that “CVS extra bucks don’t expire”. I just got off the phone with corporate who informed me that EB’s DO expire (hence the printed expiration date on them). Quarterly EB’s have a 45-day expiration date; product EB’s usually have a 7-10 day expiration. Corporate may, in their graciousness, re-extend a quarterly eb if not used before expiration, but they cannot reissue an expired product EB (it’s basically considered an expired coupon). Just FYI so you don’t miss out on your EB’s due to bad information.

My store takes expired ECB’s. Even the manager has told me that they would take one. Just last week I cleaned out an old bag and ran across one that was dated from May of this year and it was for $10. My CVS took it. The cashier just had to manually enter it. You should check with the manager at your store to see what their policy is.

Mine will take expired if it is still in that sale week. For example, I had one that expired on Tuesday and they took it today, Saturday. They would not have taken it tomorrow.
