      • JW

And, in what order should I hand over those coupons?

        • Dianne L

I usually give the $1/1 first, but at my CVS, it doesn't seem to matter, it all goes through!

      • queuepawn

yes, most stores will let you use the $1/1 on the one you are buying and then you get a second one free with the b1g1 coupon–CVS, Walgreens, and Publix in my area let me do that, but Target won't–depends on the store

      • KRistan

Yes, you sure can. The BIGI is for the free one and the $1 is for the other one.

    • Nancy

I also received two $2.00 off Nyquil or Dayquil coupons from the red box machine this week! Looks like the nyquil and dayquil deals just got that much sweeter!

      $4.99 – price
      -2.00 – red box coupon
      -1.50 – manufacturer's coupon
      = $1.49 per bottle

And I'll get back $1.00 from the purchase!

    • Patstearns

Last week out of the red kiosk I got coupons for $1.00 off Kudos bars. The machine printed 4 for me. Buy 2 and use (2) $1 off coupons makes it $1.00 each after ECB.

      • Where is this 'red kiosk' everyone is speaking of!? :) TIA!

        • Liz

It's the scanner machine by the entrance. You scan your CVS card and coupons spit out!

    • Ward

Is this the same coke deal from last week?

    • luiza

Anyone knows whether CVS will take an expired ecb? $10! I know, I know, what was I thinking, it got lost and I found it some time later. Thanks.

      • Mcheronecook

If they won't take it at your store (usually will if it's not 30 days old) you can call and they will reissue it! Very nice at CVS…

        • earnjr8fan

I lost $15 worth once. It only expired the day before too!! In the store they told me to call and they would set it up to print the next time I scanned my card. Well, I called and they said they couldn't do it. They were basically RUDE. So then I sent an email to CVS. They were just as rude. unfortunately I wouldn't count on being able to use it. I know that some people are lucky and their CVS will accept them. I always make sure that I watch the expiration dates now.

        • Jeg77

I had some expire and when I called to see if they would reissue them, the lady told me they can't reissue the ECBs from manufacturers, but if they are ECBs issued from CVS they can. ??

      • Lorannclark

it wouldn't hurt to ask. I have 2 CVS. ONe takes expired any date, the other up to 2 weeks.
        Good luck

    • Bonnie

Anybody know how much the crest white strips are?

      • wendy r

If I remember correctly around $40.00

      • elizabeth

I believe they are about 32.00

    • Sarah

I'm excited about the Herbal Essence deal! I have been out of hairspray and not wanting to pay full price.

    • Jeannie

Thanks for posting this so early. It really helps me get organized for my CVS trip with the expiring Q's. You are the best! Thanks for everything you do!!

    • Loyal2disney

Crossing my fingers….I got a $10 off Physician's Formula Powder, Blush, or Foundation q from the red box a few weeks ago and it doesn't expire until 2/2. That should be a $7 money maker with the ECB for this week! Hope the q I have works with the sale!

      • Amy

I'd be very careful with that coupon. I went to use it yesterday and as it turns out lots of the PF is on clearance at my store (and was not marked). I had to go back and buy more but it was worth it. I scored $40 in product for free. Also, got $20 in free revlon with he $5/2 CRT. So, maybe check @ the scanner before checking out – you never know.

      • meme

Thanks for reminding me. I think I got that same coupon. Good job!

    • Yuliyaporter

Help me out, Ladies, please… What's the CVS coupon is Jenny talking about?? It's the South beach one, mentioned in her scenario. Thanks

      • Katkoupon

from December Reinventing Beauty magazine (EXP 01/31), magazine sold at CVS, I don't know if they will still have the December issue tho.

    • Julie

So, the Naturemade vitamins have a special monthly ECB deal of buy $20 get $5 ECB, but it ends on Jan 29. My store starts their Sunday sales and ECB on Saturday (Jan 29) around 6pm. Would I be able to get the Naturemade B1G1 for Sunday's ad (Jan 30) and the $5 ECB deal for the January ECB at the same time?

      • Puja

Yes! I was wondering the same thing…I sure hope so! :)

      • Mayocoupons

if you want a great deal on Nature Made vitamins head over to Rite Aid before Sunday and you can score big–but only if you want CQ10 or Fish Oil. I got some tonight and scored a $16 + up for spending $30 before coupons and then found out it qualified for another $10 +ups on a Heart Healthy deal they are doing ($10 +ups for reaching $30 and then another $10 +ups when you hit $50 spent) AND it counted towards the $20 +up Winter Rewards when you spend $100 (all before coupons and +ups spent)–it was a TRIFECTA of savings!! I loved it! Colgate Total Whitening counts for both the Winter Reward and the Heart Healthy rewards too for which there is a $1.00 coupon from a few weeks ago—and you get a $2 +up for every 2 you buy–it was a great night at R.A. for me!! LOL

      • Lucy

The registers are usually programmed to give the customer the “best” deal so it picks only one for overlapping weeks. You'll probably only receive the B1G1 free pricing on Saturday but not the ECB deal. The ECB deal will then be programmed to kick in for Sunday when the B1G1 free ends.

However, there have been a few deals in years past that have had both weeks' worth of special promotions applied to them when a store activated the deals earlier. Those have been few and far between…

    • Amy

How much are the South Beach Living bars without the coupons? I would like to know. Thanks!

      • She has them listed as 2.50 a box.

    • Katkoupon

Thanks for the scenario, Jenny! I need some moisturizer, and $2 sounds like a winner!

    • Sarah

Anyone know if the Sinex is included in the Vicks deal like last week?

    • Sue

Love the Dove Visible deal. After my purchase I used my extrabucks to buy more.

    • Lmpate

I have a question on the herbal essence shampoo. Can you use 2 B1G1 coupons and then 1 $1/2 coupon? I don't have the proctor 110 book, so trying to come up with an alternative. Thanks :)

      • Sarah

Sure, but you will only get the ECB once since the limit is one.

        • Mayocoupons

she might get 2 ECBs since some items say a limit of 1 but when you look on the reciept at the bottom it says needed to get ECB: $x.xx which means you can do another deal. The coke deal worked like that for me this week!!

          • Sarah

Maybe so, I'm just saying I wouldn't count on it since the ad states “limit one”.

      • mj

I am trying to do a similar deal. I want to buy 2 Herbal Essences and use 1 B1G1 and $1/2. Can those 2 coupons be stacked on only 2 bottles of shampoo?

        • Sarah

Nope, sorry. The $1/2 would be applied to the item you are getting free with the B1G1 which means you would be using two manufacturer coupons for one item. But if you buy two more HE and use one more B1G1, you will get all 4 for just $2.

    • LaurieinTN

There is also a cvs coupon for buy one get one free 2 litter bottle of coke

      • Brandyandtravis

        Where is that coupon?

      • Sarah

I'm not sure what you are referring to, but there is one of the CVS website, but it is for the 20oz, Diet Coke I think.

    • Tamlyslex02

Have any of you joined the Beauty Club and/or purchased the Green Bag Tag at CVS?

      • Ann in Atlanta

Deinitely have the bag tag…you get an ECB after every 4th scan (you can only scan it once per day). I've also joined the Beauty Club, but did so right at the deadline of whatever email I got, so I really have not seen the benefits yet!

        • Sarah

Same here. The bag tag is great!

          • Syndilew

What is this bag tag? I haven't heard anything about this.

            • Paige

My store has it right by the reusable shopping bags. It is a green leaf looking tag (like a store loyalty card). It usually costs $1. Every 4 times it is scanned, on four different days, you will get 1 free ECB!

            • Jeg77

the bag tag is a green tag you put on your reusable bag -any bag, doesn't have to be a CVS one- and when you use your bag they scan your tag. Every 4 scans gets you an ECB. They have them on the counter next to the cash register and they cost $1.

      • Dee111681

i have signed up for the beauty club and already got a 5.00 eb it prints at the coupon center when you scan your card. i got it just from buying make up on clearance that i was already getting for free with coupons and xtra bucks

    • Allisonk_86

is the coke deal a new one or the same from last week?

      • couponing for2

        it is a new deal

    • Lucy

In the scenario shown above: “
      (2) -$1 off South Beach Living Protein Fit cereal bars (CVS coupon), 5 ct, December Reinventing Beauty magazine (EXP 01/31)”

Using the second store coupon for the South Beach Bars in the same transaction will beep. Only a single CVS coupon for a like item per transaction is accepted. You might get lucky and have a nice cashier who will override the beep but you shouldn't plan your transactions on that happening.

    • Kclark20

The card scanner at CVS gave me a $10 off coupon for Physicians Formula make up. The blush is priced at $10.99 so you would pay .99 OOP and get back $7 ECB.

      • JennaJ

I got the same coupon. Alot of the PF makeup is 75% off. I got 4 face powders @ $2.60 each and only paid $0.40 total. To me it was better than the ECB deal.

        • Sarah

I got that coupon too. I think I need to call around because the two CVS stores closest to me don't carry PF. poo

          • gwhiz

You all seem to bepretty lucky with the scanner, everytime I scan I get the same $1 off of combos coupon – YUCK, LOL!

      • Tamlyslex02

Is it a good idea to go the card scanner before making any purchases? I've had a card for years, but never used the ECB's before! Yah, pretty bad I know! So, I guess I'm a newbie at this.

        • Sarah

YES! Always scan the card before you shop!

      • Jenni

Did you get this coupon today? I might head out today to scan my card, then.

      • Happy Feet

I started using their make up and I love it… their lip stick is wonderful!

    • dgravius

Does anyone have the zip code to get the $1.50 off of the Mars M & M's chocolate candies on Redplum?

    • Knowka

Yea, so happy about the Prilosec deal. My friend at church has been struggling with a cough, pneumonia, etc. Her doc finally diagnosed it as asthma being brought on/aggravated by acid reflux. She told him she hadn't been taking her Prilosec b/c her insurance stopped carrying it. :-( Now I can help her and get it this week for her for $3.50/box instead of $25/box!!!!

    • So I am just starting, so it looks like I will have to buy/spend more money initally to get some ECB and get into the game. Is my thinking correct, guys?

      • Paige

Yes you will have to pay something to start but then hopefully after that, you can pay just a little bit out of pocket using your ECB's to pay and receiving more ECB's. Don't forget to get the green bag tag too. It costs $1 but every 4 times (on four separate days) it gets scanned, you get 1 ECB

        • katsmit2

what is the green bag tag and how do i get it?

          • A green bag tag earns you ECB's. You will want to scan it each time you shop along with your CVS card. You can buy one at CVS. Just ask a cashier. They're usually near the register. :)

          • Bridget M

The green bag tag is if you bring your own bag so you're not using a CVS grocery bag. I've had plenty of cashiers scan it for me if I don't bring a reuseable bag. I've never asked, they just do it!

      • Heartathome4ever

My first CVS purchase was 3 weeks ago. I “invested” $23 and got a ton of stuff and a ton of ECB! Since then I have continued to purchase items using only ECB. I only buy items I will use and that give me more ECB. I have had to spend very little out of pocket…just a few cents here and there. Good luck!

      • laural

If you can hit an item that will be almost free after ECB that is the best way to start. Then if you need to minimize your OOP(out of pocket) make sure to roll your rewards. If I have 5ECB, I try to do a deal where I will get that back. For example, item A is 10.00 with 5.00 ECB, I use my 5ECB, pay 5.00 and get 5 more ECB. Hope that helps

    • wendya

Am i wrong, or isnt there a deal for bogo 1/2 on bic disposable razors? there is a coupon for bogo that doesn't expire until 2/6/11

      • Linda

I have the coupons B1G1 Bic where are they on sale at?

        • wendya

on iheartcvs, it shows that they are going to be on sale bogo 1/2 next week

          • Linda

            Thanks Wendya!

    • JEB

I have a BOGO one store coupon for contact solution that printed off the scanner…can I combine that with 2 manufacturer coupons, or just one?

      • Lori

Since it is a store coupon you can use two manufacturer coupons!

    • amy

Anyone know if the coke deal is a carry-over from last week or a new deal? Don't have my ad yet, so I'm anxious to see if I can get more coke!

      • Phillips

Yes, it's a new deal. The number of this week's sale is 10512542 and the new number for the upcoming sale is 10612542. More cheap Coke!!!

        • amy

Woohoo!!! Thanks!!! My kids wanna have friends over for super bowl…and that's about as cheap as I can find cokes to go around! :)

    • Laura

    • Danyeln

I had an odd thing happen to me tongith at CVS. Maybe somebody can help shed some light for me. I was doing the Pantene deal from the current week (buy $10 get $3 ECB back). I buoght 3 bottles at $3.99 each. I didn't realize my ECB didn't print till I got home. My receipt shows two seperate incomplete deals for this. One which I still need $2.02 and one where I still need $5.98. Basically it split my purchase into 2 deals. Any ideas? Or do I just need to go buy more shampoo?

      • Wendi

I had the exact thing happen to me and also didn't realize til I got home. Going back tomorrow, taking my 3 products and receipt and found out what happened? Good luck to you too! (It was a conditioner, shampoo & hair spray)

      • chris

That happened to me once. hey told me That they had 2 sales running one for this week and one for next week and they split the items up for each deal. Just bring the receipt back and they should manually print your extra care bucks.

    • luckieme

Has anyone else had the CVS email coupons almost disappear? I used to get one almost every week (ie. $4 off when you spend $20, or $5 off $30) I've only received one in the last 2 months. Is there something I can do to get them back?

      • I was getting them every week also then it dropped for 2-3- weeks then i got 5off $25 coupon this week…

        • Nackle78

I was getting them for a while……yes a dry spell out of the machine and email.

      • Rhiannon353

I was getting them all the time (1 email a week, and 2-3 from the machine) and now I get none:( I don't think there's anything you can do to get them back.

      • I have not gotten one since last March!

    • Kdc7703

I sent in all my reciepts for the 110 dollar booklet on nov 30 and still has not recieved anything does anyone know what I should do?This is the first time I ever done this and it's not looking good for me.

    • Leslie

how do you get the manufacture coupons

      • Base7142

i would also like to know how to get them? If they are not printable where do they come from?

        • Thats_hot_4evr

They should come in the sunday paper

    • Sugarfeet9484

I just got a $4 off $20 in the mail inside a Lysteda advertisement. So don't throw it away if you got it.

    • Sarcasticangel_82

I have the B1G1 Cupon for Special K that she posted a link to on here a few weeks ago…I think that would work for the cereal deal..

      • Rogerwhitmire

you should be able to use it i have one can you use another coupon with it you get 4 bucks when you buy 3 i have have 2 b1g1 ?

    • new to coupons

I just got a KMart sales paper. They are doubling manufacturer's coupon's up to $2 next week-starting 1/30/11. You do have to have a KMart rewards card though.

      • Schallerl

Is that at all K-Marts, or are certain states excluded?? Do you know.

      • For the Kmart Rewards card, when you apply for it, do they hand it over instantly and let you start shopping with it or is it sent to you in the mail. I haven't shopped at a Kmart in over 3 years. But I will for this promo!

        • Bridget M

It's instant and it's the same card you get at Sears or Lands End (if you have one from either of those stores) since they are all owned by Sears.

        • new to coupons

I can not answer either question about the rewards card or about which states but there is a limit of 5 coupons per person per day and you must spend $25 per transaction before coupons. It works for me though. I have a couple of $2 pull-ups coupons that will double to $4 off!

          • Maddie34

FYI, Publix has a $3.00 coupon on pull-ups in their ad. you can use the store coupon and the $2.00 manu. coupon. Unless, Kmart is having a sale on their pull-up it would be sense to use your coupons their instead.

        • Heartathome4ever

My Kmart in AL gives the Reward Card when you register and you are able to use it right away. You may want to call ahead and check with your store.

      • Mama4Rats

You can register online and if you forget your card you just give the cashier your phone number.

    • Base7142

how do you use the ecb's? Do you tell the cashier or what?

      • Courtney

you just hand them over like a coupon

      • Danyeln

When you earn them they print like a coupon at the bottom of yoru receept. You have to hand those over when you want to use them. You will still need to get your card scanned to earn them and to use them too. HTH

    • Natalie

If I need toilet paper, do y'all think it's worth doing the $25 P&G deal to get free Charmin, if I have to drain my ECBs to do it? It will end up costing me about $14 for Charmin, (2) 8 pks Bounty, 1 Dawn, (2) Pantene, (1) Pantene Styler.

I hate to spend that much when I have a lot stocked up, but ya gotta have toilet paper! :)

      • Jmedina3577

jenny says 33cents a roll is a good deal… kmart runs sales on their 12 pack for 4.00 frequently. and the paper is nice. just a thought.

    • luiza

The coupon (PG 12/26) for the aussie deal says” buy one shampoo get 1 styler free”. Do you suppose it can still be used to get just 2 shampoos instead?

      • Sarah

Nope, sorry. You have to use the coupon on what it specifies.

    • Looking at the $4 ECB WYB $15 Dove Products…Even if I have 2 Dove Shampoo's can I use 2 coupons? One says -$1.50/2 and one says -$1/1? Trying to figure it all out. Thanks in advance! :)

      • Wendyellscharlotte

You could if you bought three Dove products.

    • astate

Can someone explain the Olay scenario–use 2.00 Q and get wash and moisturizer for 2.00? I just don't understand how and what Q's to use. Thanks

      • Toni

It should read “Get wash and moisturizer for $2 each.”

        • astate

OK–so I can use only one Q, if I use the free moisturizer wyb body wash, that is how I can get both products for 2.00 each after ECB?

          • Use 2 Q. Ur getting the Moist. for free when u Buy the Wash, and use the $2 q. for the Wash you are buying…

      • Mysterious_Mentalist

You will be picking BW and the moisturizer. You should have one $2 Q for Bw and one free Q for the moisturizer. The Q will make the moi8sturizer completrely free. You are left with the bw charges. You will pay with $2 Q partially and pay $4 as cash/credit/ecb. After the transaction, you will get $2 ECB. Thus you would have spent $4 during transaction and ended up paying only $2 for the total of two products.

    • Coke Packs are ringing up 3/$9 not 3/$10. Also I'm able to do the deal twice some crazy reason. Plus keep an eye on your Green bag tag deals mine are not being added to rewards. No i haven't tried to use it more then once a day.. they are just going being added. It's really frustrating cuz I show have had $1 ECB today…

      • If you shopped today for tomorrow's sale, you would have gotten the lower of this week's and next week's prices. This week they were $3.

        • they are for the following week as well. it's in the flyer

          • rcmom

Does anyone know if you can buy 5 cokes (at 3/$9) for $15 and get the $5 ECB or will the last two ring up as a higher price?

            • Deb

              I did on Saturday

    • Grams

At my CVS today, I tried to use Manufacturer coupons for some makeup clearance items and was rejected. The manager said that at CVS you could not use Manufacturer's coupons on any clearance item and that the rule has been put into place by Corporate. Anyone else having this problem?

      • Sarah

That is defintiely NOT policy. Feel free to call corporate. Could it be that your MQ was more than the clearance item?

        • dana

i used my coupons on clearance and got awesome deals–sorry you didn't get to use yours–call corporate

      • guest

Same thing happened to me this past week, but for Listerine at CVS. It's because the clearance items barcode isn't listed under the product name. Unlike, Harveys Supermarket which does print out a product barcode for its clearance items so one can use a manufacturer coupon there, on a clearance item, with no problem.

      • Mysterious_Mentalist

This does not sound right. First of all, I do not think it is CVs policy not to accept manuf Q on clearance item. More importantly, the Q. do not specify that it can not be used for clearance items. Thus, manufacturers themselves are careless about it; why would CVs worry about it when CVs gets reimbursed upon submitting the Q. Even if the store tried to make it a policy, you can challenge it becaiuse the Qs do not limit the use nor specify how much the price of the item should be before you could use the Q. Therefore, such assertions by managers or employees is simply lack of their understanding of how marketing works.

      • Pink_10_princess

I used tons of coupons for the clearance makeup at 2 different CVSs in my town.

      • laban24

This has also happened to me. They put stickers on the clearance items and the cashier hand types the price into the computer instead of scanning the item so when they scan the coupon the computer says you haven't purchased the product. The cashier I went to didn't know how to override this so she just wouldn't let me use the coupon.

        • Mysterious_Mentalist

The CVS register, alongwith many other retailers, is pretty innovated ones (for most part). Even if cashiers have to manually enter new price, the register will first ask to scan the actual item, meaning the item upc bar code will be registered on receipt/transaction. Then the cashier would use “modify price” feature on the register and the register will pop up a window/field where they enter the “desired” price. Thus, the item will still be normally registered and should accept the relevant Qs.

It is possible that the clearance price was lower than the Q price and that is why the register beeped. If that was the case, then the cashier needed to modify the price of Q scanned just like she would have done for the clearance items. Lack of knowledged on part of the cashier is not an excuse to refuse a valid “trade.” You should have insisted on using the valid Q, even at lower price to math the item clearance price because this is how it is done, at least at CVS.

      • Nysummer2010

75% off for clearance item is store promotion which should be separated from manufacture's coupons

      • Brandi

I have this same problem at Kroger. Shouldn't they accept them?

    • Tara P.

Just curious – does CVS double coupons? If so, up to what amount? Thanks! :)

      • No, CVS does not double.

        • Tara P.

          Thank you :)

    • busymom2

The same thing happened to me in Tampa 2 days ago, the girl said oh you cant use man.coupons on clearance. I told her this was not correct and tried to explain they get reimbursed by the manuf. but she argued with me. So I walked out and did not buy any of the other stuff either.

    • Sahmommyof2

Im new to this and was wondering when doing the different scenarios am i suppose to do seperate transactions for each of them or will it be the same if i pay for it all together?

      • If you are referring to Jenny's scenario, each transaction is done separately.

    • kris

Check your CVS. Found Almay Pure Blends foundations unmarked on clearance for $2.62. Use $2/1 Almay product SS 1/23 and its only $.62. The Almay Pure Blends Loose Finishing Powder was also unmarked at $3.62.

By the way, although the promotion is over for the buy $10 Almay, get $4 ECB, but FYI there were problems with the promotion and the ECB weren't printing. If this happened to you, call the number on your card. They were very nice and fixed it so my ECB will print next time I scan at the kiosk.

    • Roberta

In my store ad I picked up this evening it has cokes 3/9 instead of 3/10 as listed in your deal above.

    • buggy

I'm new to CVS. When it says “Limit 1” does that mean per transaction or per award card??? Thanks.

      • Nita Royal

yes, but always look at the bottom of your receipt to confirm.. That will say “limit reached”. Occasionally, the limit will be higher than advertised, and the receipt will tell you what is remaining to get the next award.

      • Mysterious_Mentalist

In ads, if the advertised item indicates ecb, then the limit is per card. On the other hand, if there is only sale price, no ECB advertised, such b1g1, then the limit shown is per transaction.

    • Eae1959

Visiting my daughter in Sevierville TN…We had a little training session at CVS this week, alot of make up was 75% along with $1 / $2 cpns…we were buying make up for pennies. Also found a great clearance end cap in the back corner of the store. Hair Spray, Cold Ezz 1.38 ( didnt have a cpn but still a deal) alot of odd and ends of items they were marking down. Very good adventure, my daughter was thrilled, she just needs a bit more focus.

    • Lkrawson3

I am new at this, when you buy at CVS can you use coupons from other stores? We had an ice storm the end of Dec. and I didn't get that one paper and alot of the coupons I need for this ad are in that paper. I do have a Kroger coupon that came out after check out for an item and was wondering if I can use that? Thanks

      • Amy J.

That depends on the coupon……does your Kroger q say “store coupon” at the top or “manufacturer coupon”?
if it's a manufacturer coupon then you can use it……if it's a Kroger store coupon, then that will depend on your CVS……you'll have to ask since some CVS's do take them and some don't. HTH

        • Courtney

be careful though some stores still wont take it if it says manufacturer at the top or not if it has another store logo on it

          • Amy J.

good point……I personally haven't had that happen yet, but I've seen others post comments about some stores not taking a manuf q if it has another store logo on it.

            • Courtney

I had it happen to me at Harris Teeter with a target coupon. The computer even scanned it and took it off, but the girl asked a manger just in case and the answer was no they couldn't take it.

        • Lkrawson3

thanks I am really trying to get this right., I am still going to get some of the stuff with the b1g1 aussie that is still better than not getting it.. plus I am starting off with a $5.00 ecb… making out my list now..

    • Courtney

having brain fog this morning, so if you dont mind please can you answer this. I have the coupons for the b1g1 aussie, can I then also use a $1/2 coupon then, if I am buying only 2?

      • Amy J.

you would have to buy 3 to use both of those coupons.

        • Courtney

thank you for answering so quick :)

      • laban24

No, but you could use the B1G1 and $1/1 coupon. The B1G1 requires you to buy 1 and the $1/2 requires you to buy 2, so you'd need 3 purchased to use both of those.

        • Courtney

thanks, my brain just isnt working this morning lol so if I buy 4 I can use 2 b1g1 coupons and then the $1/2.

    • upsetmomma

I just made a $7.00 error. I used the $10.00 Physician's Formula makeup coupon YESTERDAY!!! Ugghhh. Oh well, we live and learn – I just had to vent!

      • Ldhall_1978

Where did you get the $10 PF q?

        • Nysummer2010

it's from the magic coupon machine

    • Kristy

Trying to figure out the best olay & secret deal. I have a cpn for buy olay get secret free. Can anyone else help me out w the best deal/ transaction?

      • Tammie

You obviously know to use the 2.00 off Olay. If you have coupons for the Herbal Ess deal, you could do that first: buy 2 Herbal Ess, use 1.00 coupon, & BOGO, pay OOP $2.00 (plus tax). Get 2 ECB. Then do the Olay transaction w/ the Olay coupons and the 2 ECB.

    • Rbettyanne

      see if this is correct….. (6) Ragu @ $1.66 each =$9.96 plus (2) Skippy @ $1.66 = $3.32 plus (1) Lipton Tea bag @ $2.50 comes to total $15.78 so…. I use (2) $1.25q and (3) $.50q and $5.00 ECB ( left over from last week) = $6.78…… I get $5.00 BACK ECB makes this transation $1.78 ??????????????? did I do this right???????

      • LynetteC.

Looks right to me!!! Way to go!!
Did well at CVS today myself!!

    • Meguardo

Good quick trip to CVS today!
2 Aussie Conditioner (used B1G1 and $1 off)
2 Oil treatment Dark & Lovely (I have 2 mixed girls this work great:)) -no coupons:(
      1 Olay body wash & 1 Olay moisturizer ($2 off and B1G1)
      I had 5ECB from last week and a 5 off 25 coupon!
Total before coupons 36 ish total after $9.70 and I got 9 ECB back (2, 2, and 5)!!
      I love CVS!

    • Jen

I was going to use the “buy 1 Olay Body Wash and get 1 Olay Complete Moisturizer free,” but the maximum value of the moisturizer coupon is $6, and I couldn't find any at my CVS for less than $8! Anybody else have a similar problem, or a solution?

      • Gump

Same problem. The moisturizer was over $8. I need to look elsewhere and may have to lose a ECB!

      • Nita Royal

Yup – plus the $2 q on the body wash expired on the 28th, so I passed on the deal. For the first time in a year, I walked out of CVS empty-handed today!

      • momofsix

I went ahead and got it, because you will never find the moisturizer for 2 bucks anyway. I had some ECB from last week that covered it.

    • FarmerJill

I'm in Central FL and our CVS ad has B1G1 50% off for Axe products (so does WAGs but I think I have a better chance of the deal working in my favor at CVS). There is a B1G1 Axe coupon in RP 1/30, so.. I should get 2 Axe products for 50% of the cost of one. No limit on the purchases (I wonder if there will be any left when I get there?!)

      • Sheila

Most stores will take off the lower of the two Axe prices for the coupon. YMMV, but in my experience, you'd be wasting your coupon, because you'd still be getting 2 for the price of 1.

        • FarmerJill

Not sure if I got a cashier that liked me or if this is just how they handle this situation at my CVS, but I got the Axe deodorant @ $3.99 B1G1 50% off, then used the B1G1 coupon and they took off $3.99, so I got two deodorants for $2. I was happy :)

    • Nichola2

Question: If I bought items last week on Saturday (thinking Dr. Pepper would count for the Pepsi thing from the previous week and at the one I went to they included it at a Coke item) and got 4 items… if I bought another Coke item this week, would it roll over for the ECB? It isn't a huge deal if it doesn't… I was just curious before trying!

      • Ds143ms

I did the pepsi deal and the dr. pepper was not considered one that was 2 weeks ago. last week I did coke product, and before I bought them I asked the manager, and they said dr. p. is a coke product. and I bought 5 dr. peppers and it worked good luck

      • Mysterious_Mentalist

If I understand your question correctly, every new week at midnight wipes out previous week deal purchases. If your store starts sale early on Saturday, then I think the product might be counted as “credit” towards the new week deal

    • Penni-saver

Just went to my CVS in Charlotte and they had Gillette men's body wash (3 diff ones) on clearance for $2.49, there is a $2.00 off coupon in the P&G saver = .49!!:)

    • CLT

Just got back from CVS. A lot of the revlon cosmetics are on sale for 75% off, and I had coupons for $2 and $1 off. Making it free or close to free. This is also true for Loreal cosmetics.

Also, on the olay deal to get the face lotion free, the lotion cost $8.79 in my store (Charlotte) and the coupon is only up to $6.00. Darn….

I did the physicans formula deal, using one of the clearance items, and my ecb did not print. I will call customer service tomorrow and hopefully get it worked out.

      • guest

that is dishonest. There is nothing to straighten out. Clearance items dont count towards ECB's and there are signs posted saying that.

        • tori729

I have had several clearance items count towards the ecb deal. If it says “all” in the ad, then they would be dishonest to not allow it!
I don't think she is being dishonest at all; if she bought the right amount of stuff, she has the right to the ecbs.

    • CLT

Just realized the Physicans Formula Try Me Free rebate expired 12/31/10. Does anyone know if there is one that is still valid?

      • CLT

        For the Bamboo Compact.

      • Ronibigdogmom

Mine is expired too… and the 7/10 doesn't work on clearance.

      • Nysummer2010

currently there are only THREE items valid for mail-in rebate which are “Eye Booster™ 2-in-1 Lash Boosting Eyeliner + Serum” & “Mineral Wear® Talc-Free Mineral Correcting Primers” & ” Organic Wear® 100% Natural Origin Jumbo Mascara”…make sure you grab the correct item…http://www.physiciansformula.c

    • Noelle

I got four different Physicans Formula makeups on clearance and the ECB's didn't print for me either but the manager was kind enough to print my 7ECB's. I pointed out that the add said any Physicans Formula and he agreed with me.

      • Andre

Same for me and manager gave me the 7 ECBs and was very nice about it too.

      • Toto

I just did the same thing. I bought 4 Physicians Formula clearanced bronzers 75% off @ $3.75 ea = $15.00, used 3 $5 peelie Qs and my oop was sales tax of $0.90. Did not trigger a $7 ECB. I assumed clearance items & high value Qs disqualified this. Should I have gotten this ECB based upon your experience? I'm not sure if I should go back and ask? Thanks!

        • Deshisk8chick

you should not go back and ask. On the black get it before its gone signs that should be hanging up it specifically states than any clearance cosmetic cannot be combined with any other offer that includes the $7 ECB. You will be an honest person for not going back and demanding the extra money

          • tori729

She didn't say she was demanding the extra money. I think you're being a little judgmental here. If the manager decides to give her the ecbs because he wants her business, he very well has a right to.

            • Toto

Thanks Tori! I was inquiring mainly because I am fairly new to doing these deals & wanted to know for future reference, not to demand more from an already great deal. There were not any signs stating this fact & there were not any signs even showing they were 75% off.

            • Anonymous

I wouldn’t sweat it if i were you. While that may be true for some clearance items, most of the time it says so in the ad … there was no such thing posted.

    • Razlmz

Some of the Dove hair care items were on clearance for $1.19! So instead of getting 5 items for $3 each=$15 and getting $5 ECBs back, I was able to get 4 for $3 each=$12 plus 3 that were $1.19 and it still triggered the $5 ECBs. So I got 3 extra products for the same price. Check to see if you have clearance Dove items in your store too! :)

    • Kate

Ethical question: if the cashier makes a mistake ringing up your items/coupons and you end up paying LESS than expected (or get more ECBs than expected), do you correct it?

      • savNlots

Absolutely! It will come back to you ten fold!

      • Nita Royal

Definitely – they will appreciate it and remember you. Plus, it helps you sleep better! ;-)

      • tygmom

I do….with the attitude I sometimes receive just from using coupons I make sure I display honesty at all costs. The other day at Publix I had a free coupon that doubled the amount off and I pointed it out to the cashier. The sooner cashiers realize that most people using coupons use them honestly the easier checking out will be for us all.

        • Guest

I try to be honest, too, but I see nothing wrong with a coupon for a free item doubling. I feel like it is the same as any other coupon doubling that gives you overage. For instance, for a long time, Publix had the Yakisoba noodles for 60¢ and there were 50¢ coupons, which doubled, creating a 40¢ overage. Doubling creates overage in a lot of Jenny's scenarios. However, I do believe that legitimate mistakes should be pointed out. I had a case one time where the cashier forgot which coupons had been scanned. A member of management entered the ones that the cashier thought had not been entered. When I got home, I realized that I had underpaid by more than $8. I went back, explained to the manager what happened, and paid the difference.

      • FarmerJill

I agree with everyone else.. I completely forgot to take some Qs out of my stack when I handed them to the cashier at Publix the other day and she took them off. She was on the third one (I had 4) and I noticed, pointed it out to her and apologized for my mistake. She added the $12 back on to my bill that the coupons had deducted and thanked me for being honest. She couldn't believe that I pointed out a mistake that cost me $12. I would rather save money honestly (and keep couponing going as it is) than be dishonest :)

      • firstbrownie

This recently happened to me the grocery store….cashier manually entered a $1 coupon as $8.50 (I honestly don't know how she did that)!! I didn't notice (which is VERY unusual for me!) and caught it in the car. I went back in right away and they were extremely appreciative of me coming back in….the cashier's drawer would have been short $7.50!

    • Cyndi

I did the aussie/herbal essence deal today – bought two hairsprays and used the B1G1 coupon and the $1 off coupon. The B1G1 coupon took off the original price ($4.29) and not the sale price. So I paid $5.97-$4.29-$1 = 68 cents and got $2 back in extra bucks, so I actually made $1.32 (not including tax). Also, my receipt said that I could do the deal 2 more times. I went back and did it one more time. That receipt said that I could do it 2 more times also. I think 4 bottles of hairspray is going to last me a while so I stopped there. Hope this helps someone else though!

      • Queenthatiam

thanks, I am on my way to CVS

      • Yugigi

You were so lucky. My CVS only took off 2.99.

      • Cyndi

I did this deal at the Halls CVS (Knoxville – Emory Rd and Maynardville Pike).

      • Guest

my coupon was worth up to 3.23. So did the store lose money?

    • Sherim0206

Can you tell me if all SS and RP inserts are the same in all areas? We got 4 inserts in the paper today, 2 RP, 1 SS and 1 P&G inserts. I am having a hard time matching them with the ones you have listed in your ad above. The amounts are different and there seem to a lot that I don't have. Any ideas?

      • Thathardygirl

Depending on region coupon amounts may be higher or lower like the Afrin nasal spray awhile back all mine were $3.00 off while my mom sent me the same inserts by mail and her's was $4.00. I am in FL she is in central TN also our Volusia county paper in FL does not have the same coupons (Orlando paper has a few extra) or the same value as the ones in the Orlando Sentinel so I get both.

      • Ginger

Oh gosh, no. We have two big papers where I am, LA Times and LA Daily News, and the coupons often differ dramatically just between the two of them. I bet a couponer from your area would be able to tell you if there's a different, better, paper to buy for Qs. If not, some people buy whole inserts off the internet.

      • firstbrownie

I typically get 25-50% of the coupons that are “supposed” to be in the inserts….PG are always consistent (some values are lower, still), but the others vary so much. I usually wait until I get my inserts before I actually get scenarios together….saves me alot of time! (I live in central IL)

    • Beth

The coupon machine gave me $5/5 Revlon products today. I got 2 foundations on clearence for $3.49 each. I paid $1.98 + tax. What a deal!

    • niki

has anyone been able to find 1/2 softsoap hand soap q's in their paper today?

    • Syndilew

I went to CVS today and mine in Albany, GA had Aveeno hair care products on clearance for 2.12 and 1.82, combine this with your 1.50 off coupon from a few weeks ago and it makes an awesome deal.

    • Zjqtcj

I couldn't find -.75/1 or -1/1 Planters Big Nut or NUTrition bar in ss 1/2. However, I have cut one -.75/1 Planters Big Nut or NUTrition bar with an expiration date of 3/31/2011 long time ago but forget which insert. Anybody have an idea?

      • Julie

Have you actually been able to find this product at CVS? Where are the Nut-trition bars located?

        • Zjqtcj

I saw Planter Big Nut in one CVS store but not the other yesterday. It's with other brand of cereal bars on grocery shelves. I looked all my inserts since 12/1/10 still couldn't find the coupon. I dont' know if I can use “Coupon Database” on the top of this screen to find it. Anybody know how to search in this database?

    • El

I can not get the Brita coupon to print. It keeps saying “Page can not be displayed” Anyone else having this problem?

    • Leah

How do you all get these deals at CVS? I've been to 3 of the CVS stores in my area several times over the past 3 weeks trying to get these products with ECBs, and they are never on the shelves. There are always bare spots there, no matter what day or time I go. I can never find the free products either (e.g. candy on sale which becomes free with manufacturer's coupon). They are not in the store and no spot for them on the shelf either. (I'm in Orlando, BTW). Any tips? Can I get rainchecks?

      • Misti

you should be able to get rainchecks, my CVS gives them. Also, ask what day the truck comes and when they usually have the stock out. be friendly with the cashiers, they will help you out.

      • 50watts

Get rainchecks, they never expire at CVS. Eventually, it will come back on the shelf!!

    • Monica

CVS has Sally Hansen lip wear for 75% off and use the $1 coupon makes it 82 cents. Super deal, but I couldn't find the Dove visisble care on Two Notch.

    • Mamag2112

Hi everyone! I have several of the Bic BOGO that exp 2/6, any ideas for where to use them, I see that CVS has them BOGO 1/2 off? How would that work?

      • 50Watts

Yes, this is a good place to use the Q is you need these razors. You would only pay half price of one razor for both. Your cashier should ring your B1G1 Q at full price, leaving you to only pay for the 1/2 price razor.

        • Mamag2112

Thanks! I thought that may be the case, but I stopped by CVS at lunch and one of the employees said otherwise, but I really don't think she understood the question! I am going after work to see what I can do! Thanks again!

    • CCShad

I have an EC coupon for $5/2 off Revlon Cosmetics. May be a dumb question, but is nail polish considered a cosmetic? Thanks!

      • Cyndi

        My opinion would be yes!

      • Nysummer2010

YES +1 and the purchase of nail polish will also be included in the “beauty club reward”

        • CCShad

thank you and cyndi too! am just joining the beauty club today.

      • CCShad

Yes, they let me use the $5 off cosmetic for nail polish which was buy one get one 50% off. I also had two $1/1 q's, so 2 Revlon $5.99 nail polish for $2 total!

      • firstbrownie

My store had several 75% off, so two nail polishes were just under $3, but the q still took off $5, so it was a MM for me!

      • moneysaved4disney

yes, I found some clearance ones last week and used it on those!

    • jennifer p.

CVS trip (Someone tell me if Im doing this right, PLEASE)
      4 dove deoderant=$3.00 a piece 4-$2 off 1 coupons
      1 dove mens body wash=$5.00 a piece 1-$1.00 off 1 coupon
my question is: I have 2 coupons (printed) that say save $1.50 on 2 dove deoderant, can I use those as well as the $2.00 off for 1 dove deoderant??
If so, with the 5 ECB I already have I should spend around $5 bucks total. And recieve 5 ECB for spending $15 on dove products!
Thanks for help. Im really trying to get the hang of this but Im a nervous wreck!!! LOL

      • jennifer p.

I really hate I spelled deodorant wrong EVERY single time!

      • Cyndi

        Hi Jennifer!
You will get the hang of it! My ad says dove deodorant is 2/$7 so if you buy 4 of those, it will be $14. Then the body wash makes the total $19. Your coupons four at $2 and 1 at $1 make the total $10.
If your coupon for $1.50 off of 2 dove deodorants is a store coupon, then yes, you can use it. If it is a manufacturer's coupon, you cannot.
Use your $5 ECB you already have and you will pay $5 plus tax (assuming your other coupon is not a store coupon). And yes, then you will get the $5 ECB. You did all the calculating correctly – just had the price typed wrong for the deodorant.

        • jennifer p.

          Thanks so much!

    • guest

so only ever ONE m q per transaction per product????

      • One per item. If you buy 2 of the same item, then you can use 2 coupons, as long as they say X/1.

    • Guest

Gillette Bodywash in my area is on clearance for $2.49. Use the $2 off coupon, and it makes it only $0.49.

    • Guest

Okay, help me out people! I have two of those m Qs for $1 off the visible care Dove body wash. Looks like I can get 2 of those. Does that count for this dove promotion and if it does would it contribute the 1.99 twice to the total of the $15 or the price after Q.

      • Deshisk8chick

the 1.99 Dove Body Wash does not count towards the Dove promotion. In the ad it lists the types and sizes that count towards that deal. The big Dove visible care counts but not the smaller try it out size does not

    • Linden

Does anyone know if the pampers diapers will print out two ECBs if I get 2 packs. I know it says limit 1 per household, but in the past sometimes I can get 2. I really need diapers and i have 2 coupons, so I would love to get 2 packs if I can. Thanks.

      • Buy one pack first and use one coupon. Then look at the bottom of your receipt. If it says “Offer limit reached”, you can not do it again.

    • Guest

Does anyone know the limit on the Aussie/Herbal Essence deal?

      • Bamasaver

Simply CVS is reporting that the limit is 5, but only printing one ECB at a time–so maybe need to buy them in multiple transactions in order to get all the ECBs (at least until they fix the “glitch”).

        • Guest

          Thank you.

    • Meghan E Ball

If I did the $5 ECB / $15 coke purchase last week, can I do it again this week?

      • Wpoovey

Yes, it is a different add. I did the same with pepsi 2 weeks in a row.

Thanks! I am making my list, and wanted to be sure. Otherwise it would throw EVERYTHING off, haha.

          • moneysaved4disney

i was wondering if it were a month long deal or something….good to know!

      • AR

My husband has done the coke deal 3 times this week.

    • Can I use the $2 off AND the buy body wash and get the moisturizer free? It looks like that is what it says…

I tried that before with a different deal and the cashier told me no….

      • tori729

Yes you can because the one coupon allows you to get the moisturizer free and the other one takes off on the body wash.

    • tori729

There was a tearpad, I think in CVS awhile back that was $2 off wyb Coke 24pk, Planters nuts, and Nabisco crackers. If you use 2 of those coupons you would pay $7 oop for 2 24pks of Coke, 2 Nabisco crackers, and 2 containers of nuts. Good deal!

      • tori729

Sorry just realized the coupon is for the 20 or 24pks and the sale is for the 12pks. Bummer!

    • Kandibowen

Have a dilemma on the Pepperidge Farm Milano coupon….says product must be 3oz for the $1 off. The CVS in my town has 2.8oz pkgs…Will the coupon still work and let me get the FREE Milanos?

    • Alisha

Has anyone on here ever purchased $4/20 CVS coupons on Ebay? Are they legit?

      • Tiff715

Those coupons are usually linked to the CVS card I believe

        • Amy

Sometimes, they are distributed in booklets and those coupons are not card specific.

    • harrycare

I was told by a CVS employee that they have a new company policy that they will no longer except coupons printed from the internet. I asked her if they had two jars of smooth peanut butter in the back and she said, “are you using coupons?” I told her yes and she started talking about this new policy. I was using all manufacturers coupons that day so I did not have a problem. Has anyone heard of this, “new,” policy?

      • harrycare

Goodness, I meant accept instead of except….. It's late. Sorry!

        • Courtney

my dad works for cvs and I also have a friend that works there, neither one have mentioned that to me.

      • Mamaberry

I emailed CVS directly on this a while back, because I had mine tell me the same thing. I got a response back that says YES they do accept legitimate internet printables. I printed the email and keep it with me.

You may want to email them about it and when you get an email back, print it and keep it with you. Just a thought. Hope you don't run into this problem again!! :)

        • Harrycare

Thanks so much for the information. I just went on the CVS website and I can not find an email address to send them an email. I looked everywhere! Would you happen to know the email address? Thanks so much.

          • Anonymous

The contact email is customercare@cvs.com. You should get a pretty quick response. Here’s what my email said verbatim:

Thank you for contacting CVS/pharmacy ExtraCare in regards to internet coupons.

CVS/pharmacy does accept manufacturers coupons that have been obtained from manufacture sponsored and or authorized sites. The coupon should be complete and contain a bar code that can be scanned at the register.

Did you know that our website has many great benefits like printing your quarterly coupons, viewing your balances, managing your prescriptions and updating your personal information? Please visit our website at CVS.com if you would like to participate in some of these great benefits.

We appreciate your patronage and look forward to serving you again. I hope you have a nice day.

Hope this helps you…and anyone else running into this problem!!

          • Mamaberry

you have a more extensive reply coming, but it has an email address so it has to be approved. in short, the email is customercare at cvs dot com. read the full response when it's approved though, cause, I think it will be helpful!

    • Eae1959

Wasn't sure what area to post this….I hit K Mart with using their Double Coupons this week, This is huge since I live in Florida and no one doubles here. $33.00 for $15…basically bought a bag of dog food and two bags of dog bones, tampons, aveeno conditioner was all free….They are doubling up to 5 cpns after you spend $25 and up to $2 on each coupon. You have to check for the right items, K Mart is a bit high on prices.

    • Fgb4jc11

Is there a limit on the number of 12 packs you can buy of coke this wk?

    • Towanac

thank god for my great cashiers and manger at my cvs in v a never a problem]]]]]]]]]]]

    • Mamaberry

YAHOO! My RP 1/30 has a q in it for $2 off ANY dove deodorant or body mist. Pictures depicts woman's line, but wording says otherwise. Makes the Dove deal even better! I'm getting hunnie some much needed deodorant and now it's even a better deal!! Soooooo excited :) (happy dance, happy dance, happy dance….)

      • Haley554

I wondered about that too…so that $2/1 Q will work on the men's deodorant? Also, if you have a Publix there is $1/1 store Q in the green advantage flyer for any Dove men's care product so it would be a great deal if you could stack the two.

        • Mamaberry

Yup, just did it. Used 4 of them today. Pictures are soooooooo deceiving :) Great marketing method isn't it? Cause the only thing we think of when we see it is “I have to buy the pictured items”. Sneaky!! :)

    • Elizabeth

Went to CVS today to take advantage of the Dove deal. I got 2 Mens body wash (sign said $5 but rang up for $3) and 2 Body sprays ($3.50). Thought I was buying 17.00 worth of product with coupons and would get $5.00 on my card. Instead, the receipt says I spent $6 and needed $9 more to get deal and also said I spent $7 and needed $8 more to get deal. They separated the products into two categories and I really only spent $13. Anyone else have this happen???

      • Tanya

I did not buy any men's products, but that did happen to me too. I spent 17, and gave them 6.25 in coupons. In the end my receipt said that I only spent 10 toward the deal, and I needed to spend 5 more. Some else mentioned that theirs split into two deals, but that the manager combined them and gave her the ECBs. I am just going to make another trip with more coupons! (My paper had $2 off 1 deodorant, which is better than the other coupons that I have seen mentioned. I am glad I got 3 papers this week!)

      • Slgbaird

I was kind of mad that this happen…. The paper and the sign said $5 so I bought 2 dove body wash and 1 pack of dove soap for $7, which I thought was total $17… I didn't notice until I got back to my car. so I went back in and explain to the cashier…..She tried to explain to me that it was 2/$6 which is totaly not what was on the paper..but she did give me the extra bucks.

    • April O.

I shopped at CVS yesterday and they had certain types of always pads on sale 2/$6 and get $2 ECB, did not know about this!

    • doogie124

Question – if the ad says you need to purchase $25 worth of PG products…does that mean $25 before coupons or after?

      • moneysaved4disney

        before coupons

    • sq4225

I did not get the Dove Visible Care coupon in my Red Plum, does it not print in some areas? I also tried to print the printable one and it says there are no more available for that campaign….?

      • moneysaved4disney

coupons are regional. the manufacturer only allows a certain amounts of prints for each online coupon.

    • CCShad

Today, I got $2 RR on Crest Kids Pro-Health toothepaste. Price was $3.59. I used $1/1, so figuring in the RR, I got it for .59!

    • Jen B.

I lost some EBs and called 800-shop-cvs to see about getting them replaced. They told me that they could not replace them because they were not my quarterly earned EBs. Has this always been the case?

      • doogie124

Bummer – I lost my EB's as well. I'm sooo bummed. $9 worth down the tubes. I was a very sad person today when I realized this.

      • As far as I know, it has. That 's what they told me when I called about a year ago.Fortunately, I found mine.

    • jessc5

$5 ECB WYB $15 Unilever Products Limit 1

Also includes Bertolli Alfredo sauce at my CVS!!! I was so excited!
The alfredo sauce was on sale for 3 for $5! I got 5 Skippy, 4 Bertolli, 2 Extra gum. Used $15ecb and coupons for the gum, spent $1.12 oop and got $5 ECB back! :)

    • Eae1959

BIG Red Machine gave me $3 off Physicians Formula today:
      Bought PF Eyeliner…….75% off $1.49
Bought PF Eyeshadow 75% off $1.50
Bought Loreal Eyeliner 75% off $2.12

Used $3.00 CVS cpn $2.00 Loreal Cpn

Final out of pocket……..47 cents for $22 worth of make up…

      • Mamaberry

I did this today and got some AWESOME stuff too!! Isn't it great!

      • CCShad

You can get $7 RR if you buy $10 worth of PF makeup. So, if you bought $7 more of it, it would also have been free! I wonder if you can go back or if it all has to be bought at once?

        • EB

My experience lately is that clearance items will not trigger the ECB even if you paid a total of $10 to meet the requirement. The first time it failed to print for me when I was buying clearance makeup, I asked at the register and they forced the ECB to print. Since then, I tried it a few times and was told clearly that you will not get the ECB when you are buying makeup that is at the clearance price. This, of course, is true at my local stores and YMMV.

          • Amy

My store has a sign that states clearance merchandise does not count toward ECB sales. I think it is like that everywhere (posted or not).

            • CCShad

Thanks for that notice – I had not heard that. Oh, well.

      • Tash2010

I did the same thing with the 75% off makeup… I bought all 75% off products, used $9.00 worth of ECB. I paid $11 and some odd cents for $71.00 worth of name brand cosmetics!!! Love CVS!

    • Imousework

My trip to CVS was great today. I got four Ragu, four Skippy, one Lipton green tea, Dove Body Wash, two Dove deodorants and a Dove body spray. Total OOP was $11.46, got back 10 ECBs. I was thrilled with my total and then I asked about my ECBs. They did not print. I was short .83 cents for the Ragu deal, but the manager gave those to me. Then the Dove deal split out into two deals, but since I spent over $15.00 for the two, the manager gave those to me also. Awesome manager at my CVS!!!

      • NondescriptMember

I am new to all of this and and I don't undestand what you mean by being .83 cents short for the Ragu deal. I also don't understand what happened with the Dove deal–what does it mean that it split out into two deals? Thanks!

        • NondescriptMember

Disregard. I figured it out. It seems I can figure these things out only after I embarrass myself by posting my ignorance. Thanks anyway!

    • Dixielee323

Since the Aveeno shampoo and conditioner is on sale bogo half off, can I still use two $1.50 off coupons?

      • Mamaberry

You sure can, One mfg q per item, no matter the promotion price :) LOVE it!!!

** Works great here in FL where we can use them on 'free' items too! **

      • doogie124

Yes, I just did that today. :-)

      • Dixielee323

        Thank you…off to CVS now!

    • Charity

When it says buy $15 worth of dove products and get $5 ecb does that mean $15 before coupon? I'm so new at this I have yet to shop with my coupons. Help. And when it says buy one get one free, if I get only one does it automatically go half price or do I have to buy two to get the sale? thanks all

      • Bamabobbie

I think the total is $15. before coupons are taken off and the bogo free has to be two items with one being free.

      • Tanya

I went to CVS today and spent $17 on dove products, and I had $6.25 in coupons. It did not give me the ECB's and at the bottom of the receipt it said that I had only spent 10 toward the reward. So I have to spend 5 more – after coupons – to get my ECB. I had more coupons at home, and I am going to make a lunch run tomorrow and finish up. I am glad that they at least keep a running tally and it does not have to happen in one transaction. (and I am one scan away from a green tag ECB). Maybe other CVS's work differently, but that is how mine works.

        • It is possible that you bought something that was not included in the ECB deal. I would examine this more closely. If you did buy something that was not included, they'll likely let you return it. My ECB deals have always been based on before-coupon totals. If not, I would seldom shop there.

    • Tara P.

I have a question. The 'green bag tag' from CVS…I bought one this Sunday (this is only my 3rd week doing the ECB deals). I know that every 4th scan, you receive an ECB. My question is: does it scan at the register when you make a purchase OR can you go in once a day and scan it at the coupon center? I pass a CVS every day on my way home from work, and if I can stop in and scan it daily, they would help me on my ECBs.

      Thanks! :)

      • Maria

You scan it when u make a purchase, but once daily, so if u make 2 purchases you can only use it once, but i have 2 cards i use for other people and the same card works on all three accounts.

      • MissyLea

What is green bag tag? Should I be scanning my card somewhere when I go in CVS?

        • Tara P.

I found out about this from another website! It is a plastic “tag” (like a luggage tag) you put on a re-useable shopping bag. For every 4th purchase, you get $1 ECB put on your card. I asked the cashier where they were, and she found me one.

        • Mamaberry

tara answered the green bag tag… as for the scanning of your card, yes! Most stores have a kiosk located somewhere by the front – mine has one at the back too. Scan your card and wonderful pieces of paper (otherwise called coupons) come out!! They are heavenly :) Right now there is a $3 off Physicians Formula q printing out and there is a sale on buy $10 get $7 so you can get it all FREE :)
You too will come to love this special machine. Have fun!

          • Tara P.

I want the $3 off $10 Physician's Formula sooo bad! I'm coveting that coupon right now! LOL

      • woodsy

you have to make a purchase.

      • Lily

You have to make a purchase inorder for the cashier to scan the green bag tag (you have to use your own reusable bags with it). I believe you can only use it once a day.

    • Thank you for the list! Here is my variation I am going to try tomorrow during my lunch break, hope I did everything correctly.

Wow – hope you have a long lunch break and an empty store :-)

      • RobinB78

I would personally combine transactions 1,5 and 6. Pay $22 oop and get back $7 ecb, then combine transactions 2,3 and 4- use the $7 ecbs, pay $18 oop and have $14 ecb to roll next week. You're only paying $4 more out of pocket that way than your plan, BUT you won't be starting from zero next week.

    • Sandy565

I had problems finding the Dove Visble Care in the size that is on sale. Also the Olay Bodywash and moisturizer coupon, the moisturizer says it will pay for up to $6…however I can not find the Olay Complete moisturizer for less than $6. If I get the moisturizer that is say $8, will they take off $6 and I pay $2 for it?

      • Guest

Yes. At least they did at my CVS. I just got back.

    • SavymommaJess

At my CVS they had Gillette body wash on clearance for $2.49….if you use the coupon from Sunday's P&G you can get it for .49!!

    • Fenwaypark2

      Coupons are the best

    • Shrocknoah

My mom wont buy anything without a coupon OMG

    • Brandy

Question about coupon machine in store. How often does it print out different coupons? I went twice in one week and scanned my card and it printed the same coupons.

      • firstbrownie

It is so different! Those things have a mind of their own!! Sometimes, I get identical coupons all week; other times, i get a good variety. I have a friend's card that I use to buy a few things for her and her card gets different coupons than me in the same trip!

    • Carriesaves

You have listed that there is a $1/2 soft soap liquid hand soap in the ss 1/30 but there was only a .35/1 soft soap hand soap. Are there different value coupons in different towns for ss? Or was that just a little blooper? thanks! I appreciate all you do! :)

      • Proudlyamom

Yes, they are all different depending on your area.

    • di

has anyone else notice, the coupons are expiring faster .some are only 7 to 12 days after we get them they expire.

      • happymom

Noticed that too. And they're expiring right before the products go on sale. Are the marketing and research guys on to us?? :)

    • NR

ok experts, is the charmin deal a good one?

    • Shopperjeann

I am just getting started and I have a coupon question. On Prilosec OTC 42 ct., $25, $10 ECB WYB $30: If I am buying 2 boxes of Prilosec with an $8/2, can i use an addition $8/2, one coupon for each box, but only buying 2 boxes total.

If not, it would be alright to use one $8/2 and a $3 for two boxes, right?

      • Tiff715

You can only use the $8/2 because it covers BOTH items you are buying. BUT If you had something like a bogo or bogo 1/2 Q then you can use one of those along with a $/1 q

      • Dianne L

No, you'll need to do the deal just like Jenny posted. The $8/2 means just that-you are buying two products and getting $8 off two. It is confusing when you first start out, but you'll get the hang of it! That deal is a great one since it has the rebate, but only if you need the product. It's going to take a while to get that rebate-and it's a debit card.

    • Tara P.

I'm going for my 2nd go round at CVS this week. (mainly to get more scans on my green bag tag).

The weekly circular for my cvs states that you get $5 ecb wyb $15 in Dove. And my dove coupons were off the chain in the newspaper…. $2 off 1 Dove Mist/Deo, $1.25 off 1 Dove Body Wash, $1 off 1 Dove Shampoo. This is my “scenario” – all comments are welcome:

      • Tara P.

Ending up get $5 ecb from the machine for spending $50 (before coupons) on beauty stuff from the beauty club.

I ended up spending $9.51 for all of the things listed above, plus a newspaper, 3 snickers peanut butters, 2 cvs hand sanitizers, olay ribbons, and secret deodorant….

plus 3 ecb to roll! :)

    • Mami2x2

My paper has the Dove deal as buy $15 worth and get back $5.00. Does everywhere else say $4.00? I'm in Savannah, GA

      • Tara P.

The Birmingham, AL circular is 5 wyb 15!

    • Mami2x2

I just got a $3 off of $15 coupon in my email. Can this be used on the Dove $5 wyb $15 deal and still print the reward?

      • Dianne L

        Yes! :)

    • Kelley Harold

Got a nice surprise today. I had a couple of “$1 off a CVS brand skin care item” coupons from the red kiosk from earlier shopping trips. I just happened to walk by the travel items and noticed they had CVS brand hand sanitizing wipes. They were 0.99 but also on sale for B1G1Free, so I bought 4 and used my 2 coupons. I ended up getting all 4 for free. They didn't even adjust the coupon down to 0.99 – both coupons rang at $1.00 off! It was a nice little treat.

      • Tara P.

Didn't realize sanitizer counted as skin care, but i guess it does (duh)… definitely gonna check that out! I teach special ed self contained and we are always needing sanitizer!

        • If the wipes are all gone, the 2 oz CVS hand sanitzer gel is on sale b1g1 for $1.19 each, so I paid 19 cents for both after my $1 off CVS skincare coupon!

    • Monique B

I've never used CVS before but got my card in the mail today. I have a question about the Extra Care deals. Say I get the $5 when I buy the Coke/Kraft products. It prints on my receipt, correct? So, I bring my receipt in on my next trip (receipt is like a coupon). My main question is – when I use that $5 I earned – does it have to be on specific items (like more Coke/Kraft) or can it be used as cash on any item in CVS? Thanks for any help! Monique

      • LeAnna

monique-you can use it on ANY thing. Many of us use them and roll them over….lots of times I only pay a few $-b/c after coupons and my ECB's…..it is almost free…and I plan it and buy things to get MORE ecbs…….so I can keep on shopping for almost free!

        • Monique B

Thank you, LeAnna. That sounds great. :)

Monique, you can use on ANYTHING…I prefer to use mine at Publix. They take them! :)

    • I can't seem to get the dove coupons to print. It says they have been sent to my printer and nothing happens. I am not usually a CVS shopper, but I got a $5 off $15 in my email and figured this was the best deal.

I had the same problem, but I just went back in again and after signing in again and turning off my pop up blocker, the bricks coupon window came up and i got my coupons.

        • THANK YOU! I had to switch to chrome.

I received $5 ECB when I bought $15 of Dove Products yesterday. Instead of the $4 ECB listed above. Just an FYI! Thanks!

I went to CVS to pick up the 3 of the $5 Men's body wash and I was pleasantly surprised to find out it was actually $3 each. I only had (3) $1 coupons, and since they rang up at $3 each, my total towards the $5 ECB was only $9. Once I realized they were so cheap, I immediately bought 2 more bottles of body wash. So my total out of pocket was $12 and I got $5 back in ECB. This ended up being $1.40 per bottle of body wash. The funny thing about it is that neither I nor the clerk could find the body wash listed anywhere for $5. She thought maybe that was the price that would start tomorrow. Either way, I've learned to never look a gift horse in the mouth. Now on to next week.

I meant to say neither of us could find it listed for $3.
