      lasagna!!

      • pharmSCgirl

Ugh oh… wrong place to post your favorite italian dish. I just thought I'd let you know so you can get in on the giveaway. I know I wouldn't want to miss out. Good luck!

    • I just get to be first tongiht!! :-)

      • IF I hadnt had to resign in, I would have been first anyway….

    • pharmSCgirl

My CVS had a few of the coupon inserts from the reinventing beauty magazine located where the sales ads are kept. I grabed one since it was free and I didn't have to buy the magazine. I haven't seen but that one CVS put those out and that's the first time I've seen them there. These come in handy for the deodarant this week.

    • new2qs

I have 2 questions….first, can I stack a CVS coupon from the kiosk in addition to a man. q? (I got a $3 off any Almay color cosmetic when I stopped to get cokes tonight). Second, can I get 2 of the same product in the same transaction and get ECBs from both or do I need separate transactions? Thanks for any help!!

      • RebeccaFer

Yes, you can stack the CVS coupons from the kiosk with a manufacturer's coupon. And the only way you can get two of the same product and get their matching ECB is if there is more then a limit of 1 on it. If it's limited to 1 then that's one per card and it will not print a second time even if you did two separate transactions.

The Mennan Speedstick will allow you 2 so that will work just remember the ECB will combine into one, giving you a $4 ECB then. It's fine for this but when you have a large limit with a higher ECB amount, you may not want to combine it. For example, the Oust deal gave back a $3 ECB in earlier deals and had a limit of 6 (I did it 6 times at least) and if I had done them all together, I would have gotten a print for an $18 ECB! That's hard to roll so it's nicer when they are smaller amounts. KWIM? :D

        • CassandraK

is this one per loyalty card or credit card?

          • RebeccaFer

Sorry Cassandra, I'm not sure if I understand your question correctly or if may be you posted in the wrong spot. If you're asking if the limits on the ECB deals are per CBS card or per credit card then it is per CVS card. They do not track your credit card spending. HTH! :D

            • CassandraK

Yeah you understood! lol sorry if my comment was confusing. Thanks for the help :)

            • RebeccaFer

Oh good. Lol. No problem, I'm happy to help. :D

    • Jasmine910

next week bioluxe is BOGO. I am planning on buying it at retail (9.99) but using ECBs for the entire amount. There is a “try me free” rebate attached to the conditioner bottles. Do you think I can get the rebate even though I technically didn't pay for it to begin with? (I'm pretty sure CVS owns this, so I'm wondering if they see ECBs used on my receipt they will void my rebate? or am I just being paranoid?)

      • RebeccaFer

I think (and hope) you're just being paranoid because I'd like to do the same thing, lol. :D

        • Jasmine910

haha! well me and you both then. oh and fyi, from what ive read, ring up the conditioner first and hopefully the shampoo will ring free, since the rebate is only intended for the conditioner :)

i dont want to buy it unless i know ill get the rebate, so i can use all my ECBs towards something that will give me more back!!

          • RebeccaFer

            Great tip! Thanks! :D

          • kelli

they actually both ring up exactly the same: “1 BIOLX MOIST R 15.5”
there's no way to tell which one is which, unless they've changed it.

            • Jasmine910

ah, good to know. I was worried about that!! thanks!!

            • Noel

I just bought some today and it shows up as SH or CD. It may ring up differently at others, but they rang up my Shampoo first so my conditioner shows up as free. I wonder if I need to return and rebuy so the shampoo shows up as the free one :(

        • Sarah

I have already done this rebate when it was B1G1 Free before–I used ECBs to pay for the purchase, and I received my Visa gift card a few weeks ago….hope that helps

          • Jasmine910

awesome thank you!! you just relieved my paranoia! i will go out and buy now :D

          • cindersga

Yes, I got my Visa card for $9.99 and so did my husband. It was a sweet deal. Especially when you get the other one FREE. So, $40.00 worth of Bioluxe for $0!

      • BpGc

I did notice that the mail-in form says:

NOT VALID WITH ANY OTHER OFFER.

wonder if BOGO CVS sale counts as an offer….

        • John

I have already done this rebate(9.99 visa card).I almost always use coupons and ECB to pay for my items.I know that I did this for this rebate and had no issues.Recieved in about a month. It was a BOGO when I bought it also.

          • kelli

I got mine already too. only spent 37 cents (all tax) and they were bogo when I bought them.

      • Emily

I did this once at CVS and it did only give me the rebate for like .29. I don't remember which exact product it was, but it was one of the shampoos maybe Vitamin Shampoo. It came with a letter saying the rebate stated not valid with any other offer so they only paid me what I pad.

      • kelli

I think I responded to your question on another website… but I'll respond here too. :)

yes, you will get the rebate. i called before i bought them just to make sure. i was still a little scared that i wouldn't get the rebate because my subtotal was -2 cents and the total was only 37 cents… but i got it in the mail on 2/16. i mailed it in on 1/21, so it took just under a month to get it back.

      • Emily

Bioluxe is BOGO THIS WEEK…2/21-2/72. Jenny did put this in her list but she may not know about the MIR.

      • melissabragg

You will get back 9.99 in the form of a prepaid visa card.. I have already done it and it doesnt take that long to get it back in the mail..

    • firstbrownie

Be on the lookout….I scanned my card at the little red box near the front today (2/19) and I received a $5 off a $15 purchase coupon and a $3 off any Almay product coupon

      • Jasmine910

to add to that, I got $5 off $25 and $3 off tresemme too!

      • Nicole

I got the same thing! I was so happy, and now we can use the almay q for this coming week! Yay!

      • Ashley

I scanned mine today and got a $10 off of $30 purchase coupon!!

      • aolss

I scanned my card tonight and got $5 off $15.

Bought glade sense & spray plus 2 refills, stacy's chips, and 2 Sobewaters

        – 1.00 on Stacy's chips
        – 1.39 on Sobe water coupon
        – 1.39 on Sobe water B1G1
        – 2.00 glad refills
        -3.00 on sense & spray
        – 2.00 ECB
        – 5.00 off $15

Cost me $2.05 and walked out with $4 ECB plus the glades qualify for the SC Johnson $5 rebate :)

      • Tisha in SC

OMG thanks for posting this, i got 1 the other day but didn't look at it good. I thought it was a $3 off $15. I just ran downstairs & checked & u are right $5 off $15. YESSSSS!!!!

      • cathie

Hi, I hate to be one of those people that asks newbie questions, but I wasnt able to find an answer in CVSing, or even at CVS.com. What is this magic red box at the front printing off coupons for everybody :-)

        • Not all stores have these, but they are price scanners will be somewhere in the store. Some stores that are red and some gray. If you scan your card instead a product it spits coupons out the side.

      • Karla

I am new to all of this. What is the “little red box near the front”? Would love to know. This is all so much fun :)

        • robunnetter

Not all stores have them, but they are little red machines that allow you to scan your CVS card and then they spit out a coupon just for you!

    • BpGc

Are the 2/7 Olay BOGO's are for the tres expensive ProX and not Regenerist/Definity?

I have 2 questions about the finer points of CVS-ing:
      1. My receipt says I still have “1 needed to earn reward” on the Cottonelle $4 EBC from Bonus Day Deals. Are these deals still available until they stop printing on my summary?
      2. Weird situation, but either myself or the cashier lost a coupon worth $10 in the middle of the transaction, so I returned the product when I realized she didn't take it off. Do I get to keep the $5 EBC as a constellation prize, or am I now out an EBC & a $10 coupon? (It was the BOGO coupon for Covergirl from last week).

      LOVING the new comment system!

      • jhoran

Funny that you asked that question about the cottonelle. I received a 5off15 q and decided to get the 20pk from bonus day deals. Well, turns out that cvs did not have them on display, so I enquired about them. Happens that they usually break down the large pks and sell them separately and that was what was on this week's sale. Anyway, they had one or two left in the store room and they were not sure about the rr, but according to my receipt i had “1 needed to earn reward”. So, we gave it shot and lo and behold, it rang up at 12.99 and gave me back 4ebc. I paid 3.00

      • drcmetzger

I found the coupons for the OLAY bogo, for me in Florida they came in the P&G today 2/21. The Olay bogo's from 2/7 were for ProX like you stated.

      • Snowski824

Just keep it. If it has your name on it and matches your card they'll make it work even if it beeps.

    • Mysterious_Mentalist

Does anyone know the price on one Olay Regenerist Facial Moisturizer?

      • MrsWood

I think the regular price for 5 oz. is 6.99 and the larger one ( I believe it's about 7.5 oz) is 9.99.

        • AmandaK

Check prices for all the items at CVS.com that way you get a better idea of what you will be paying

      • Most of them are $21.99-$23.99 I tried to pick the cheapest product I could find for the scenario above.

      • Snowski824

All of the ones that qualified for the $12 back were 24.99 at my CVS.

    • kathy1949

I am new to this and have a question about some CVS transactions. On hte transaction below and several others, I see that you are using $5 in ECB then at the end you are getting $6 more back in ECB. Are the first $5 ones some you already have or is more that I can get? If so, how does this work?
      Transaction #1
      Buy:
      (2) Mennen Speed Stick Deodorant $2.99
      (1) Colgate Max Fresh Toothpaste $2.99
      Use
      (2) -$1 off Mennen coupons
      (1) -$1 off Colgate January All You
      -$5 ECB
      Total Due: 97¢
      Get Back: $6 ECB

      • Mandy

Yes, the $5 is from the week before. Usually, u try to end up with some extra bucks to carry over for the next week. If you currently are just starting out, you will have to pay a little out of pocket. But, next week, you will hopefully have some to carry over! For instance, if you stopped after transaction #1, you would have the $6 to use for next week.

      • Carrie

I think Jenny had those $5 ECB to start with (probably from a previous transaction the week before). So without the $5 ECB from a previous transaction, your OOP would be $5.97 and you would get back $6 ECB.

      • Libbytn

Also, make sure you scan your cvs card at the red box thing/price scanner. It will print out some type of coupon and at least for me here lately it has been $5/$25. Sometimes it will be for a free cvs brand item or money off cvs brand purchase.

        • colagirl

What is the red box scan thing everyone is talking about? Where are they located in the store?

          • deniseCLT

they're usually at the front of the store. you just scan your card, as if it was a price checking machine. coupons print out instantly. however, one of my cvs stores doesn't have one. if you don't see it, just ask a cashier.

    • kat1890

In regards to the Olay $15 rebate, I purchased 3 Olay Body Botanical Fusion body washes at a new Dollar General on my home last night. The shelf tag had them priced at $2.50 each, I had 3 $1 Q's so I expected to pay $1.50 each. However, I was very surprised when each one rang up at $1.87 each!!! My total, tax and all was $3.00! My understanding is I can submit this transaction for the Olay $15 rebate….am I correct on this?

      • Mysterious_Mentalist

I think so. The marketing promotion of $15 is a rebate on condition that you buy 3, and does not require any minimum pricing etc. You got a bargain, so enjoy it, why not. They wont rebuke for getting a bargain. Moreover, they sometimes ask you to circle the price paid is for their ease to see that you have fulfilled the total $ reaquirements. If they ask you circle it in this case, though no purchase pricing is a condition, they simply like to survey how their products are being sold in market and how its doing. Bottomline, you are set to go

        • kat1890

Thanks for your reply. I printed the rebate form and I'm putting it in the mail today! Thanks again!

        • Toni

Rite-aid had the Olay body age defying body wash on clearance for $2.79 so look for that if you haven't already purchased your three Olay products. Definitely cheaper than the 3/$18 scenario they have advertised.

      • lauramueller15

My DG had them on clearance for $1.25 each! I got 3 and am sending in my rebate- woohoo!

    • natsaver

Does CVS do their weekly price changes on Saturday evening or do you have to wait for Sunday?

      • Lori

They do it on Saturday. I normally go Saturday afternoon and then I get the deals from last week and the deals starting Sunday. You can combine them!

    • sasha

I did the Colgate ECB deal last week (14th). Does anyone know if this weeks (21st) is the same one? Would I still get the ECB? I'm just getting started at CVS.

      • kmoon

I'd like to know about this too!

      • NC_ Angel

Last weeks Colgate was for the Total, and this weeks is for MaxFresh, so I would assume that they are different deals.

      • Mysterious_Mentalist

Regardless same item was on sale with ECB last week and also this week with ECB, remember, each week starts fresh from point zero. Meaninng, you can buy them again for the sale/ECB this week. Everything is reset. They want you to keep buying-It's all marketing; they wont impose lifetime restriction on buying

      • jhoran

        Yes, its a new deal.

    • Diana

How do I get the “thank you mom” and “Save a Lot” home mailer?

      • gery220

        I wanna know 2.

        • Bettyann

          me too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

      • BethMc

Not sure about the Thank You Mom, but I got the Save a Lot booklet from a link Jenny had on the site. Try searching the site to find it. These are manu coupons with Save a Lot logo on them. We don't have a Save a Lot here, but I've had no problems using them.

    • Tina

Where do you get the CVS Reinventing Beauty coupons?

      • SusanStauffer

They are in the Reinventing Beauty magazines at the checkout counter. They cost .99, I think. The coupons are well worth it.

    • carrielantry

I found a manufacturer coupon for the Mennen Speed Stick Stainguard Deodorant in a bag of Hanes men's white undershirts. Right now at Target there is a 6 pack of shirts for 9.99 and it has a free sample of the Mennen Speed Stick Stain guard Deodorant attached (they are on an endcap in the men's section in Jacksonville). So if your hubby needs shirts like mine did, it is a good deal because you will get the sample deodorant and a coupon to use at CVS. Also there is a coupon for the actual shirts, so I bought one and then opened it and used the coupon inside for my second bag and saved a dollar on it!

      • Lynn

Thanks for posting this – I just bought a pack last week and already forgot about the deodorant coupon

      • kmoon

Jacksonville FL? or no? Just curious :)

        • carrielantry

          Yep, Jacksonville Florida :o)

          • kmoon

Awesome!! Which target? I normally go to the southside one.

            • carrielantry

Southside has them, but last time I checked no XL, so I went to Town center for the XL. Happy Targeting!

    • MrsWood

Does anyone know where the coupon for the Mennen Speed Stick can be found?

      • SusanStauffer

It's in the CVS Reinventing Beauty magazine, at their checkout counter.

        • il3c

Thank U! I have seen this mag listed several times and didn't know where to look. I will check out the red box and the mag at the front next time I go to CVS.
Thank you from all the neebies…

    • April

I don't know if this makes a difference for anyone or not, but my local CVS actually starts it sales on Wednesday. So that means from Wednesday through Saturday every week there are two weeks' sales running. They do this because the very-small local paper comes out on Wednesday with that sale flyer in it. This has totally changed how I shop at CVS, and it took me over a year to find out! I was thinking that for any of you who live in itty-bitty towns like me with a once-a-week paper, it might be worth checking into. It definitely makes things a lot more interesting!

      • kat1890

April, thanks for the heads up. I'll have to try this at the CVS in the little town in the next county which has an once a week paper with an ad section. Thanks again!

      • brooke_b

I get up early on Sunday and go in to get the weekly deals. I was wondering why sometimes they are already out of a lot of the sale items. I am going to ask this wknd when I go in! Thanks for posting. I live in a really small town too so my CVS will be more than likely doing this too.

    • Heather

My CVS is finally opening on Feb. 21! This is my first time to use the CVS deals you post and I'm super excited!

    • Karen219

Can you use more than 1 ECBs at one time or do you have to do 2 separate transactions with them? I have a 5ECB and a 2ECB. Can I use them together? Thanks.

      • Bobbie

Yes, you can use unlimited ECB's from what I have found on one item.

        • Karen219

Thanks just wanted to make sure.

    • Debbie33

hmmm…anyone know where to get the cvs reinventing beauty?

      • SusanStauffer

        It's at their checkout counter.

      • kelli

they have them with the magazines in one of the stores I shop at. at the other, they're just sitting on the floor near the makeup.

        • kelli

also, make sure you check which month you're buying. I've actually never seen the current magazine in my store. they always seem to show up after the coupons are expired.

    • Kim

Just in case anyone wants or needs to use their $5 Cetaphil coupon at CVS. They have all there Cetaphil products $1 off. Plus there is a Rite Aid q in the 2/14 ad for $2 off, plus the $5 off q made the large 16 oz. cleanser $2.99 plus tax. A good deal if you ask me :) To top it off my receipt printed a $5 off $15 q – woohoo- my lucky day!

      • DWH

Where did you find the $5 Cetaphil coupon? Also, will CVS accept a Rite Aid coupon? Thanks!

    • a_shrader

I'm not looking in the right area, b/c I'm sure this has been addressed: but if you buy 1 item and the limit is one for the ECB's can is that a limit for the week on your card or can you get other items in other transactions and still “earn” ECB's? I had 2 Aussie coupons I would've liked to use today, but the “limit” for ECB's was 1. Can I go tomorrow and get the same great deal?

      • Emily

It's the limit for the week. The bottom of your receipt will say offer limit reached and you won't get any more ECBs printed out. Too bad!

        • a_shrader

Oh it's not so bad! I'll get my friend who doesn't use Aussie to get my other one, and then I'll do the same for her on her products. :) Thanks for such a quick reply tho! I appreciate it!

          • Just pay attention to your info at the bottom of the rec't. Several weeks ago for the Pepsico deal, It had a limit of 1 that week and I did it 3 times and it still said I could do it again!
The other idea is, to have a card for every adult in your house., You have to keep your coupons/ECB separated, but it allows you to purchase more than 1 when the limit is so low on a needed item. My hubby and I both have our own card.

      • Shannon

I know the Aussie deal said Limit of 1 – but I did it twice (in different transactions) used 2 $1.00 off coupons and got $2 in ECB's for the Aussie both times.

        • a_shrader

Well, I'm actually going to swing back by CVS tomorrow, in a different town. I want to see which store seemed to better stocked for me. I will probably go ahead and try and if it doesn't work, no big deal, b/c I still used the coupon. I wonder if it just varies depending on the store??? hmmmm

        • Mysterious_Mentalist

If I may ask:- What day and time was it? Did you do transactions one right after the other?

The reason I am asking it might be that the computer did not update while you went ahead and jumped on second transaction. Months ago, I had same thing happened late evenings on Gillette razors and I kept getting $4ECB and I kept buying more one after the other since I had extra $4 coupons as well until I stopped. Or it could be that their computer system does not work perfectly sometimes-in that case one may never know until on “trial and error”

    • Joel

I have found that you can scan you card multiple times at the red box and it may or may not print out coupons each time. I have scanned it three times and got 2 – $3/15 coupons and two more CVS brand coupons. Some days it prints some, sometimes it does not. I also know that it will print different coupons for different cards. My guess is that the more you shop at CVS the less coupons you'll get.. The fewer times you use your card or shop at CVS the better the coupons you'll get. I use the $3/$15 coupons all the time.. Also, look for coupons that people throw down too. I have found 3 like that and used 2 of them already.

      • Jasmine910

ones from different cards work when you have your cvs scanned at the counter?? i have always been scared to do that because the CRT shows the last four digits of your card # and says card must be presented to get savings- i figured it would be like the emails for the $/$$ off and beep if its not meant for your card.

        • Libbytn

My mom gave me one of her ecbs once because it was going to expire before she could use it, and it wouldn't work for me. As far as I know it has to be a coupon printed for that specific card.

          • Angel_in_Charleston

ExtraCareBucks are definitely tied to your ExtraCareCard, but I'm not sure about the coupons.

            • Tisha in SC

The coupons are also tied to your Extracare card b/c it has your card # @ the bottom. The #s are all x's except for the last 4 numbers which should match up to your card #.

          • brooke_b

My cousin visited me from out of state and we went to CVS on Sunday together because she likes the deals too. Like a dummy I left my CVS card at home that day and she let me us hers. I received $5 ECB. I found out after she left that you have to have the same card to use the ECB. My cousin told me she forgets her card all the time and just gives them her phone # and they look it up and use it 2 get her card #. So when I tried to do this at my CVS they couldn't find her card with the number she gave me 2 use. But the lady checking me out was the same one who waited on me and my cousin when we were in there before. She is one of the nicer ones there. She somehow just over rided the cash register and let me use the ECB even tho I didn't have the card & couldn't lookup the number. That transaction I got another 1 ECB and I told her to keep it I was gonna get a candybar that way I would hurry up and use the ECB and not have 2 go thru it again lol. I think if its one of the better cashiers and they know u picked it up at the kiosk they will let u use it.

      • Mysterious_Mentalist

This is what I think it is for sure:-

        A) ECBs are definitely attached to one particular card and can not be used with other cards. However, I have found CVS cashiers and shift managers open-minded and many might even override it as a courteasy or if they know you that you come and “buy” a lot. However, I would not depend on that as this is something someone else's supposed earned rewards and not yours and they may not keep doing it.

        B) Coupons printed at the scanner are most likely tied to your card as well and someone mentioned those coupons also have last 4 digits of the card # it was issued to. They will most likely beep, but I would imagine it is a coupon value and you are still buying the item, so stores would be more likely to override this kind of coupon-After all it is marketing; they want you to buy the item

        C) From my experience, once I have scanned and printed whatever coupons from the scanner, I never get any more for the day-It would say no coupons available, check… tomorrow. I am surprised that you are able to get coupon prints multiple times in one day.

        D) Every now and then, I get the message no coupons available…….. and never prints even one some day.

        E) My receipts never never print any coupons any more since the new scanner machines came into place.

        F) $5 Off coupons and the same are past histiry for me. I have not gotten any in many months. I believe they have a logarithm if you shop frequently, you dont get any of those marketing coupons as they do not need to lure you.

        G) Same F above goes for email coupons. I have not gotten in months that I started intensive shopping. Even if you were to present someone else's email coupons, it will beep, but in my stores, my super employees would gladly accept them for me-That is why I am buying exclusively from CVS now They have even accepted expired email and interet coupons from me.

    • Tina

Has anyone in Alabama found the Reinventing Beauty?

    • kidsallgone

I'm posting here because i think I may get the most response here because the cvs listing is new. Anyway, my problem is that I don't know whether to go to Harris Teeter and have them double my coupons over 1.00 (up to 1.98), or just get the item from Publx (since it's about 15 minutes closer to me). I'm new at this and I'm spending so much time sitting here reading and wondering where to buy my toilet paper! I'm going crazy! Instead of shopping, I'm just stressing! Any tips? (sorry if i'm posting in the wrong place).

      • a_shrader

I personally would see how many coupons I had on items that I would definitely be doubling and see what the amount is vs/ the cost of gas.

      • Kim

This is just my opinion and I'm still fairly new at this too so you can take it for what it's worth :) I've chosen to just stick with one grocery store (Publix) and one drug store (CVS) to do all my shopping. That way I only have those two to deal with and focus on each week as I plan my shopping.

I think if you stretch yourself out too much it may become TOO much work and you lose the fun aspect of couponing (yes, I think it's fun :) Also, you will probaly find that you can save so much at one store buy focusing on their sales that you make up for what little you would save driving so far to another store. Driving and wasting 15 minutes extra woth of gas is not worth it. Again this is just my opinon and other more experienced couponers my have a different opinion.

        • kidsallgone

Thanks so much 4 the responses! U really appreciate any and all because I'm so new and so unfocused. I've spent all week learning so much by reading everything I can that Jenny has at the top of the page and all comments. I'm going 2 make a trip 2 Publix tomorrow and bring my coupons and not worry about if it's not on sale 4 now. Also, where should I be posting? Seems the cvs listing isn't the right one.

        • leslie

I agree with you! I work full time and it's just too hard to go to too many different stores. I do the bulk of my groceries at Publix, fill it from Wal-Mart for the not on sale stuff I can't wait on, like dog food, and drug store only CVS. I have not had great experiences at Bi-Lo, so I just choose not to go there at all unless it's a great deal. I work for Wal-Mart so it's easy, and the Publix and CVS I go to are within a mile from my workplace. The only thing I don't like right now is that Wednesday is the new 1c day, and the ad isn't out early enough for me to check it before work (I have to be in at 7am) so I often have to make a second trip out. But when you are saving that much I guess it's okay, I just miss the convenience of weekend shopping. Weeknights are tough. But couponing is so much fun, it's worth the trouble!

    • joybuyer

$0.50 off Mennen Speed Stick in SS 1/31 ad (from Gainesville Sun Paper in Florida)

      • Mysterious_Mentalist

They expire 2/20. I used 3 on clearance ones and used two for my ECB deal last night. However, they beep. The cashier pushed them thru with no problem. Coupons state they are for the same product Spped Stick without even restricting to one variety. Also, I noticed that the upc on coupon starts with 0 ( instead of a 9 or a 5 as labelled on the actual products). Therefore, it beeped because match could not be made with the first digit. But, I do not know why it would be because the coupon clearly says for all the related products. It might be a coupon printing error.

    • brooke_b

Could anyone find the simply asia coupon? I clicked the link and went thru all the coupons and couldn't find it. I was wondering if I overlooked it or if it is really not there. TIA

      • kmoon

Couldn't find it online! (but that's okay because I couldn't find it my store either!!)

      • jen

would like to know also if anyone finds it

    • littlemisssaveit

Hi! This is my first time posting and my FIRST real trip to CVS…
Most of the items I wanted was gone – but I ended up with –

      2-Glade sense and spray
      1- Glade reed thingy
1 Aussie Large can of hairspray
      2-CVS brand lotions
      ———–
Recieved a 5off/15 from the kiosk
Recived $1 off any cvs brand skin care
(skin care was buy1get1 half off)
      used $1 off aussie spray
used $2/2 Glade Sense and spray
      paid $12
      recieved $6 ECB
      Spend $1 oop
and recieve $7 ECB back….? right..?

      and I'm off :) rollin-rollin-rollin- let my ECB come a rollin— :)
Tommorrow I am going to grap 2 of the crest pro healths for 7.00
      use my $6 ECB

      • Mysterious_Mentalist

Could have been even better by four dollars. There are $3/1 Glade Sense & Sp. coupons in SS that you could have used (2) instead of $2/2 coupons.

      • jhoran

I'm missing something on this too. The crest pro health was last week and its in tomorrow's sun. 21 for 3.99 with no ebcs.

    • SandraE

Some of the Physician's Formula compacts have a TRY ME FREE rebate on them…you have to buy the compact separately from the powder so if you're buying the powder for the ECB, it would be good to get the compact free…

    • Mysterious_Mentalist

I believe there are $1/2 Bumble Bee Tuna can Qs available SS this Sun 2/21 as per this site. Why would I bother for $1/5 tuna can printable Qs. Am I missing something here?

      • kelli

I've got a small local paper that comes out on Saturday and has the SS insert in it.

I just checked and there is a $1/2 Bumble Bee but it says “Save $1 on any two 5 oz Bumble Bee Prime Fillet cans”

This would make a fabulous deal if that's what on sale.

        • kelli

I think it's just chuck white tuna in water that's $.49 this week.

          • leigh

it is only chunk light. bummer, i went there for solid wht. alb. Oh, well. The “magic red box” spit a $5 off $20 coupon for me, so i'll be back for diapers soon! Does anyone know what the limit is on using the red scanner machine? Once a day…once a week?

    • Joel

a friend scanned her card at the red box and it gave her one of those $25 coupons for a new or transferred prescription and it has her name printed at the top. She said she doesn't fill her prescriptions at CVS and gave me the coupon. Would it work for me because it has her name on it and says EC card must be presented at time of transfer. Also, I have been able to use an ECB with someone elses name on it before but the cashier did look at it closely but must have decided to use it anyway. What works for everyone? Anyone tried this with the prescription coupon?

      • guest

No, coupons that come out on receipts or from the scanner machine will only work if used with the card that was used when they printed.

    • Rebecca

      Good Evening:
How can you get the Thank You Mom home mailer?

    • Rebecca

HOw can you get the Thank You Mom home mailer?

      • jhoran

The form was in sun.21 paper or you can download it off this site.

    • Whitney

If I submitted the Olay Rebate you had in Feb can I still do this rebate? Or should I do it under a different name or address?

      • jhoran

This is a new rebate that started on Feb. 12, I believe. You can check on the form when you download it.

    • kj

The tide that's on sale with ECB's this week, is the right size to use the BOGO tide stain release coupon from the P&G earlier this month, good time to get a freebie!

    • Johana

Even though the ECB are separate can I combine them on one purchase??? I am new to CVS-ing…

      • Suemh

Yes. You can use as many as you want.

    • pharmSCgirl

I'm kicking myself right now b/c I just went through my CVS coupons that I get from the kiosk and found 2 of the $3 off any Glade Fragrance Collection product that I could have used last week. Oh well… The coupons expired 2/15 so does anyone know if I can use them tomorrow? They have the Glade Plug In Oil Refills on sale for $4 and I have a coupon for a free warmer with the purchase of the refills. I would also try to use the $3 off CVS coupon and pay $1 for the warmer and refill. Thanks for any help. I am just not sure if they would take the coupon. They have taken an expired coupon before but I guess it depends on the cashier and store.

      • Mysterious_Mentalist

Just present them with coupons and not say anything. Most cases, they do not read them until it beeps. And most CVS coupons/ECBs do not beep until several days after expiration, I think. Even if something, most employees would and should override them as you are still buying the product because of coupon which you would otherwise not buy-To me its marketing working

      • Snowski824

I accidentally used one the other day on the 18th b/c I thought it was the 17th and it expired that day and it didn't beep at me. I have a $5 off $15 it gave me that I am hoping won't beep when I try it tomorrow b/c it expired today.

    • pharmSCgirl

At CVS tonight, I went ahead and purchased this weeks deals along with a few things that I didn't pick up this past week. There was only 2 of us shoppers in there and we were both southern savers shoppers. It was nice having the whole store and the manager was nice and helped me find an item and new which one was on sale and that it was the one I wanted. I haven't shopped at the CVS on Dutch Fork Rd before but it was nice and I would probably drive the extra distance to shop there again.
      Total:$94.10
      Saved: $86.27
      OOP: $7.83
Will end up getting $9.99 MIR from the Bioluxe conditioner = FREE + Overage from the MIR

    • Emily

On Jenny's Oil of Olay transaction #5, she has 4 Olay products with 4 manuf. coupons PLUS she plans to use her $4 off $20 coupon. A filler item isn't needed? I was under the impression that your number of items has to equal the number of coupons that you have. Do the CVS coupons (ex. $3 off $15 or $4 off $20) not count as a normal coupon?

      • pharmSCgirl

CVS isn't quit as complicated as Walgreens. The $4 off $20 actually counts as a store coupon so it follows the rule of 1 store coupon and 1 man. coupon per item, although she only has 1 store coupon. Also ECB's don't count as a coupon and can be used like cash. So you can use as many as you want to pay for your purchase as long as they do not take you under your subtotal, because they can't be applied to tax although some stores/cashiers let you use them towards tax. I hope this helps.

        • Emily

          Thank you, pharmSCgirl! Happy CVSing!

          • pharmSCgirl

You're welcome! Glad I could help! I hope you enjoy your shopping.

      • Mysterious_Mentalist

There is no “filler” item in that transaction. She is buying 4 items and using 4+1 coupons.

    • does anyone know..? are wags or cvs offering gift cards to anyone with a new rx? i have to get one filled today and do need a few things for the house … would be very happy if i could get a gift card and do my shopping while i wait for the rx to be filled :)

      • Mandy

Try scanning your CVS card at the store scanner. Sometimes coupons for prescriptions come out there. Also, target has been running a promotion for a GC with a prescription. However, I think it's a coupon. Check today's paper in the target ad to see if they have one. CVS will usually take a coupon from another competitor.

      • Jessthere

I have never had a prescription filled at CVS but scanned my card at the red box last week and it printed out a coupon for $25 gift card for any new or transferred prescription. HTH

        • thanks, i will give that a try!!! :)

        • Heather

I got one of those coupons too and I had my annual checkup the next day where my Dr. gave me a prescription for something so the timing was great!

      • Susan

Most cvs's will match competitor coupons for prescriptions. There was a $10 coupon for a new or transfered prescription in Target's circular last week.

      • cindersga

Rite Aid has $25 gift cards for a transferred RX. I have received $75 worth of them for $28 worth of RX scripts. It was sweet.

    • cathie

I didnt see the Rubbermaid deal in my ad, did anyone get that in theirs? There is a coupon for a dollar off from the 1/3 SS. :)

    • scrapsuzy

HEADS UP about the Colgate Toothbrush deal and Transaction Scenario. The coupons were for the Colgate 360 toothbrush only, and won't work on the other toothbrushes (the cashier tried for me anyways, but it wouldn't take it). The 360 toothbrushes are NOT 1.99, they are 4.49! After ECB that makes them 2.25, and after .75 or 1.00 coupon either 1.25 or 1.50.

I went ahead and got them, as I don't mind paying that price for these toothbrushes, and I had some ECBs that were about to expire, anyways.

Also, the Speedstick deodorant wasn't marked at the CVS I went to (not even a regular price marker), but it still rang up correctly. It was just harder to find. :)

      • jhoran

Found that out myself the hard way! Long and short of the story, they voided the transaction and gave me back 23.71 on the 360 brushes. They said I would make out like a bandit on this deal, but I calulated all the previous ebc, how much oops I paid, q I gave them, the 5 ebs from the toothbrushes and redid the transaction. Lo and behold, it worked out to be the same what they gave me back. Now I don't feel bad about messing up! I know I should have checked the tags on the toothbrushes first!

    • Annie

Just out of curiosity, are you allowed to use the CVS coupons on top of manufacturer's coupons? For instance, the Loreal deal I have various dollar off coupons from the manufacturer and wanted to use 3 of the dollar off coupons that CVS had for the revitalift lotions as well. Thanks!

      • Suemh

Yes, but CVS usually will not allow more than 1 identical coupon per transaction.

        • Annie

          Thanks!

          • Suemh

            I meant identical store coupon.

    • froggiess

Where do you get the cvs reinventing beauty coupons / flyer or whatever it is?

      • Suemh

You buy it at CVS for 99¢. It is a magazine.

      • pharmSCgirl

I bought one and they usually have it at the register. However, last time I went in to my local CVS they had several of the coupons from the magazine laying where the sales ads are located. I grabbed one and there were still a few left. I don't think they just lay those out there regularly, but it was a nice find. So you may want to keep your eyes open for those next time you're in there.

    • Catherine

I keep my coupon inserts intact these days and just clip the coupons I need, and I don't see an Almay $2 q anywhere. Is it just me?

    • Suemh

Hi. I am curious. I drove over 60 miles round-trip this morning to get the Charlotte Observer in hopes of having all of the coupons that were posted. I have only looked through the SS, but I do not have them all. I was thinking that maybe it was because I went to a small town about 40 miles from Charlotte and maybe they do not have the same coupons. The outside of the paper said “$193 in coupons inside”. If there is anyone here who gets the Charlotte Observer from the immediate Charlotte area, would you please tell me what yours said. I need to figure out if it is worth it for me to make this drive. I normally drive about 28 miles to get the Greenville News. I will be watching for the Greenville news variations to see if they are the same as what I got. Thanks for any help.

      • pharmSCgirl

Hi, I'm not sure how much the Greenville News had in their paper, but I know the State paper here in Columbia said at least $225 worth of coupons. Living in both Spartanburg and Columbia, I know that the variation betweent The State and The Greenville News isn't all too different. I have been tempted at times to drive to Rock Hill to get a Charlotte Observer, but thinking about the gas that is being used to get there and back and the time it takes, I personally don't think it's worth it. I can tell you that the Greenville News gets the same coupons as the Spartanburg Herald Journal usually does and you can find the Greenville News at a lot of the Dollar Trees in Spartanburg. I guess it's just up to you whether you want to drive the distance and not know what coupons you may or may not get. You can read along the side of the coupon pack and see what papers that same pack was put in. I hope this helps.

        • kelli

wow, you two are lucky… my paper says “$150 in coupon savings inside.”

        • Suemh

I was wrong. My Charlotte Observer says $113 in coupon savings. But some of them are “better” than the ones listed, like 50¢ off 1 instead of $1 off 2.

          • Suemh

I added up the RP & SS and got about $120. The P&G says $73. So I guess my “mistaken” 193 was about right.

    • fivekeys

Don't need if anyone else has mentioned this…but if you are a vocal point member and you recieved the $10.00 coupons for the Olay Pro X products, now is a great time to use them. There is a PRO X facial cleanser that is 19.99, take the 10.00 off, use a buy a pro x product get a free Secret deodorant. Pay 10.00 out of pocket and get $5.00ECB's back! plus this will count as one of the items needed for the 15.00 rebate!

Using two cards – two transactions, I got two of the pro x cleaners, two secret clinical deo's, a body wash, a body lotion and two olay regenerist facial cleanser clothes packages. after all the coupons and ECB's from last week, I spent 16.52 OOP. After the 15.00 rebate I will have only spent 1.52 for all EIGHT products. Value is approximately 98.00. :)

      • Mom2teenagers

Where did you find a Pro X cleanser? My local CVS doesn't have a cleanser in the Pro X line and I didn't see one on olay's website. What is it called?

      • mydeere5

I have the $10 Pro X coupons and have been waiting for a good deal to use them. How exactly did you get the body wash, deoderant and lotions?? I'm headed out to CVS today… a little late this week. Your help would be appreciated!! Thanks.

    • kelli

my cvs had valentines stuff marked down to 75% off this morning. they still had a pretty good selection… they had tons of candy left. lots of m&ms, hershey's kisses, etc.

    • HOPE

      i have tons to send

      • Hope,

        • pharmSCgirl

Thanks Jenny for providing this site. I have been wondering about where to send them. Do you know how much it usually costs to send a lot?

    • well, i did get the free $25 gift card with a new rx at the kiosk, but my son has medicaid, so it's not valid with medicaid or medicare, so scratch that, but i did get 31.88 of stuff for only 11.89 so all was not lost. now, the Q for the free $25 GC has my name on it…would anyone else be able to use it?? cause knowing that its not valid with medicaid or medicare, it will be of no use to me … i thought i might be able to give it away! :)

      • cindi

I'm not familiar with the exact wording on these exact coupons, but I know some say, not valid on any RX paid for by.. medicaid and some say not valid for…medicaid recipients.

now if it says the former, not valid on a RX paid for by … medicaid, then what I have done is just have them run the RX with no insurance even though I was receiving medicaid , and get the GC. thats only if the RX was say $10 and the GC offer was $25. win-win situation. (medicaid is not paying for that RX and you also get back more than what you paid for the RX….)

      • cindi

to answer your question, I do believe those are tied to your card. but if you get one in the mail, anyone could use it. but if you have a friend or family member with a RX and want them to use it you could loan them your card and have them get the RX with that card and coupon… then get back the card, and the gift card is not tied to your CVS care card.. make sense? I have done that with my dad before, I did not have any RX or expect to have any soon and got the printout coupon and let him use it, just gave him my card to use the coupon….

    • brooke_b

On the scenario ideas- transaction 1 it says you will get 6 ECB. (2/$2 for the Speedsticks and 1/$2 for the colgate) And then it says you can use that $6 ECB on transaction 2 to buy the ear rinse. ($7.99 and use your $6 ECB) I know that after transaction 1 it will print each ECB seperately- I thought you were only allowed to use 1 ECB- per transaction. So how are you gonna use all $6 worth ECB on the 2 transaction? Are you allowed to use more than one ECB at a time??

      • Suemh

You can use however many ecbs you want per transaction.

    • leann austin

Used P&G coupon from 2 weeks ago paper on Tide detergent…buy Tide get tide stain release free…$5.00 value!!! used 2 coupons got 2 free!!! great deal

    • georgiamom

My Sunday paper (Savannah Morning News) only had the Red Plum & Proctor & Gamble inserts. Any one else have this problem? Where can I get the Smart Source coupons?

      • kelli

I had that problem about 2 weeks ago…

I contacted my paper but still haven't heard back from them. I'm really disappointed. I know that they couldn't replace the coupon but I wish they'd do something.

      • itismedia

Hey, I am in Savannah and I got all 3 inserts. I bought 2 papers and both had them. I had another issue. I didn't get my paper delivered and when I called I was told that I had not been recieving my paper since Dec. 20th. I told her this was the first time I hadn't received it in 6 years. She told me I was mistaken!!!!! hahahahaha She also told me that they did not have my credit card information on file and had never had it. WEIRD. She wouldn't bring me a paper and I had to go to the store and get one. Messed up my ritual Sunday am. Read the paper, drink my coffee, clip coupons…..Oh well, still not sure what happened, but I got one out of a SMN bin and later got one from the convienance store and all the coupons were there.
Maybe call them??? Maybe you'll have better luck. haha

      • Anonymous

You can always go online to smartsource.com, there red plum too.

    • CVSKristinAllen

Hey all! This is Kristin, the cashier at the Kennesaw, GA CVS (by the elementary school and Grand Slam Pizza). I have heard from quite a few of you that you like to come in when I'm there so I thought I'd post my schedule for this week!
      Monday: 7am-2pm
Tuesday 7am-2pm (Supply truck comes in!)
      Wednesday 3pm-10pm
      Thursday 7am-2pm
      Friday 3pm-10pm

Remember, if you don't see an item on our shelves after Tuesday, we are probably out and can issue a raincheck for it. Just come up to the front and ask me about it. I may know where a little stash is. Don't forget, if we're out of anything with ExtraBucks, a raincheck ensures you will receive the ExtraBucks at a later date!

      • LindaB

Kristin, I am not in Georgia but I would like to be the first to say thank you for being a great cashier! You are the type person that we all hope to encounter as we shop. This is why we LOVE CVS and the staff there. How we are usually treated in your stores is what makes your customers happy ones.

      • kelli

I'm not in GA either but I also wanted to say thanks for being an awesome cashier. We need more people like you working at CVS! :)

      • wolverinehokie

        Thanks Kristin!

I was wondering when the supply trucks came in. Do you know if it's Tuesday everywhere, or just your store? I have a rain check for the free Crest rinse from last week I would like to use this week.

        • b_otter

It doesn't always come in on Tuesdays because I work at a CVS in Columbia SC and ours comes on a Wednesday…so just check your local CVS they will let you know…but it is normally tuesday-thursday! :)

        • CVSKristinAllen

Most stores in Cobb County GA will have trucks on Tuesday unless there is a holiday or issue at the supply warehouse. If an item is popular and sells out quickly, the warehouse may be out for over a month, depending on how much of the item the warehouse had before the sale.

      • firedupineasley

you are much more helpful than the little girl that checked me out in Easley, SC this past Saturday. She totally didn't care that the items I planned to get and that were in the current week's sale paper were not marked on the shelves because they were already pulling tags and setting up for the next day's (week's) sales paper. So, I purchased three things that were not the exact sale item and spent 13.00 over what I had planned and if there had not been six people in line behind me – I would have told her what I felt about her concern!!!

        • waymire

thats why i love, love, love the red box. just scan the item and it will tell you exactly the price, including whether or not its on sale. i double check all the time since my closest cvs never has the sales posted.

      • JulieD

Ladies, I met Kristen tonight for the first time and what a great person/help she is! I have never done the ECB thing, but now, thanks to her, I think I understand it and am ready to dive in. I went in looking for the wipes deal, they were out, but she took the time to show me how to get the MOST for my money. Thank you Kristen!

    • Katrina

Some of the Physician's Wear products have a mail in rebate, so that deal is a money maker

      • kelli

does anyone know if you can pay for this with ecbs and still get the rebate? is there a number to call to confirm this? I don't really want to buy it unless it's a money maker…

        • katrina

I felt the same way about the Physician's wear deal & yes i used ECB's

    • Kristi

Does anyone have the link to the SC Johnson rebate?
      Thanks!

    • Sally

On the Regenerist Night Recovery Treatments deal it says to use the free body wash and free lotion from the 2/7 PG coupon booklet. My coupons say it's if you buy Pro X for one and Vensus razon for the other. Can you still use them when you buy the Regenerist Moisturizer? Thanks.

      • Sally

It's Sally again. After reading some of the comments above I found BOGO for buying Regenerist and getting the free body wash and body lotion. They are in the 2/21 PG insert. I don't know if you can use the ones in the 2/7 insert that was listed in the “Deal Idea”.
Jenny, thanks for all you do. I can't even imagine how you keep up with all of this. Especially with young children around.

    • JT

Quick question. I have a $4/$20 coupon.. Is that $20 before or after TAXES.. NOT COUPONS BUT SALES TAX!

      • Virginia

After sale prices, before taxes, and before coupons. Retail/sale price counts toward the $20, taxes do not. So you need to add up your purchases and they need to be $20 before any tax is added.

    • itismedia

Does anyone know how much the Colgate 360 toothbrushes are?

      • kelli

the ones that I saw at my store were $4.49

        • itismedia

          Thanks

      • michelle

They were 3.99 @ my CVS today…I was hoping they were 1.99 like Jenny stated above…

        • itismedia

Thanks – I saw in the ad that they STARTED at 1.99 I was hoping too. I have a lot of the 360 coupons.

      • AimeeO

They were $3.99 in my store. The ad stated that they started at $1.99 but I didn't see a single toothbrush for $1.99 except for the CVS brand. Not even the Colgate kids' brushes were that cheap.

    • chrissienurse

I used $1.00 off rubbermaid coupons. They were $2.19 BOGO. So $1.19 for 2.

    • wolverinehokie

Does anyone know if the free lotion and free body wash can be applied to the same purchase of Olay Regenerist? Basically I was wondering if I could do the following:

      (2) Olay Regenerist Night Recovery Treatments $20.99 ea
      (3) Olay Body Wash
      (3) Olay Body Lotion
      Use:
      (2) -$3 off Olay Regenerist PG 2/7
      (3) Free Olay Body Wash PG 2/21
      (3) Free Olay Lotion PG 2/21

As far as the 1 coupon per item deal goes, I know the -$3 regenerist will count as the coupon for the regenerist while the Free lotion will count for the lotion coupon, etc. So can't I just stack all my Free lotion and body wash purchases on 1 regenerist?

      • kelli

no, you can only get one free item per regenerist item purchased

    • tabithafox

On some of the physcian formula specials you can get the compact for $6.99 and get $5 ECB and it also had a rebate for up to $9. so you make $4.99.

    • angelasaves2010

Ok…so I have been in to CVS a few times looking and trying to get started. I have been doing RR's. I am still new at this and can only handle a few stores at a time. So the store manager (@CVS) has been so nice and always talking about the EB's. So last week I had to give them a try. I did awesome! He was in the store and saw my coupons. Said he had a lot of coupon shoppers and had a list of their favorite. wed sites. Then he writes them down for me! How wonderful is that…Thank Port Royal, SC CVS…you now have another CVS addict!
      Kristin….Thank you!

I’m a bit bummed and need to vent. I have a catalina that printed out from Bi-lo and it says “redeem at” bi-lo but it is a manufacturer’s coupon starts with a 9 and it’s for save 2.00 on Four (4) or more rolls of Scott long lasting or mega roll towels which seemed to match the ad but the cashier said she didn’t think she could take it she had to ask her manager i asked her to please..and he came over and said he couldn’t take it because it was a bi-lo coupon. They even tried to scan it and it beeped. I just took the paper towels off and I didn’t make a fuss or cause a scene cause I never want to be that customer but it can be hard for me to try these deals again when I get turned down. I drove down to another CVS but didn’t have the courage to ask the manager.
I get so excited when I have coupons of my own that I match up with deals and then when it doesn’t work i feel like maybe I’m not getting this.
I did have a good trip at Food Lion today and the cashier was real nice when I wasn’t sure if the 50 cent off dole coupon worked on those apple cinnamon with oatmeal topping bowls. I even got a new coupon for a dollar off that product again. Have to see if i like it though before I get some more.
Here’s a copy of the coupon i marked out most of the numbers though but if it’s still not ok to link to pictures of coupons let me know :)

Cassandra, not many stores will take what they consider another stores coupons. I have tried to make the same argument with different stores over the years. I have tried to point out that it actually says MANUFACTURER not STORE coupon, but usually to no avail. As soon as they see that logo they are done. Publix in my area takes other store's coupons so I save up the store coupons I know I am not going to use at that store to combine with manu. at Publix or just to use as a manu, there.
It can be frustrating at first, stick with it. You will soon know who does what. If you can't find the info on this site, ask here or ask the store manager at the stores you shop for a copy of their coupon policy. If they don't have a copy ask if they can tell you things like do they take other stores coupons, man. coupons with other store's logos, etc…

        • CassandraK

Thank you :) I'm feeling a bit better about it now. I'm gonna try another CVS and look for their coupon policy as well. I do have the 1 dollar coupon from the ALL You magazine so I may just do that instead if it comes to the end of the week.
I don't want to become so frustrated or anxious about couponing that I stop doing it so it's really great to have encouraging people like you reply. Thanks again!

          • CVSKristinAllen

The coupons can be accepted as long as the cashier can scan them. They must have a reguloar barcode like you see on an item (12 digit number below a series of lines). Coupons like Kroger specific, Target, and even some Rite-Aid and Publix coupns will not scan or do not have barcodes, so we can't take them. If you feel like you are being unfairly pressured to quite bringin coupons, talk the the manager or call customer service (1-800-SHOP-CVS).

            • CassandraK

I'm rather sure it has 12 digits and it's not a store coupon it just says it can be redeemed at bi-lo but like the picture shows it's a manufacturer's coupon.
I'm just picking my battles though and won't be going to that CVS again.

    • 3monkeysmom

I did all my drug-store shopping today and mistakenly took my husband with me and I made a big goof. Instead of sticking to my list, which was only 4-12pk Dt. Dr. Pepper and kid's toothpaste, I listened to his suggestion and instead of getting 4-12 pk Dt. Dr. Pepper, I got 2 of them, 1 Sunkist and 1 Sierra Mist ( the last two being for the kids.) There are ECBs on the Dr. Pepper and Sunkist. Sierra Mist was not included, but since the products were all stacked together on one display, I grabbed one. I realized my mistake when I got to the car and wondered where my ECBs were!! Anyway, the kids will drink them, so we're keeping them. But my question is, if I go back and buy one more Dr. Pepper or Sunkist, will my ECB's print out since I've already bought 3?? The receipt says I have 1 more to buy to complete offer or something like that. I've been CVSing for a while but have never had this happen.

      • jhoran

no, it means you have one more offer.

      • jhoran

Same thing here, I had to forbid my husband to come with me.

      • stephenson

When they had the pepsi product/tostitos deal about a month or so ago, where you bought $20 get $10ecb's back, or something like that, i bought the wrong salsa and the clerk told me as long as i bought the rest of my 20 dollars worth before the end of the sale that I would get my ECB's, and I did. I went back a few days later and got the right salsa, and the ECBs.

        • 3monkeysmom

Thanks!! I'll swing by there Thursday (grocery day). The moral of this story is: don't take your husband to CVS!!! I swear he's worse than the kids, we went to Target yesterday to pick up a $4 prescription, that's all, nothing else to get. We left with 4 boxes of Little Debbies and a $13 pack of candy bars!!!!

      • Toni

Yes. Go back and get one more 12 pack of the participating drink and your ECB's will print. You don't have to purchase them all at once if you don't want to, but your ECB's won't print until you purchase all 4.

        • 3monkeysmom

Thanks!! I went by there today and bought 1 more and the ECB's did print out.

    • lisaharrell

I was hoping someone could tell me where I might find a coupon for a gift card with a new prescription…. prefer CVS, but happy to take advantage of any offers that you know! Thank you so much, in advance!

      • CVSKristinAllen

I work at CVS, and those coupons are usually printed twice a year to customers that do not already have perscriptions at CVS. They way they know to print you a coupon is based on whether you scan your CVS card with a perscription purchase.

    • debrabrowne

Just found a great deal on Huggies Natual Care wipes! In the ad, it shows 2 boxes for $5.00. You can actually get the 216 count refill bag for 2/$5.00. It is not advertised, but I just did it. I found out about it on another blog, which mentioned that the coupon machine gave Huggies wipes and diapers coupons. I did not get those coupons (just had one $.50 off wipes coupon). Can anyone explain to me how the coupon machines work? Are your coupons based on prior purchases or do they give everyone the same coupon each day?

      • 3monkeysmom

I was wondering the same thing about the coupon machines. I'm always seeing people who are getting high dollar brand name coupons and $5 off $15 coupons. The only thing I EVER get are coupons for CVS brand products that I NEVER use.
I went Saturday and nothing came out at all. That thing always disappoints me :-(

        • CVSKristinAllen

Some stores allow you to use CVS brand coupons on regular items. CHeck with your local store manager. Also, there is a 100% money back guarantee on all CVS items. If you don't like it, you can return the item and get all your money back. Some stores even reimburse you for the coupons you used on that item by giving you store credit or cash. This varies from store to store so be sure to ask.

    • kris

just a heads up, the olay night recovery cream can not be used in the ecb deal. you have to purchase the 24.99 products. :(

    • Jane

HELP,I want to do the olay Regenerist Deal and I can't find anywhere in my P&G 2/7 for the olay free wash or lotion coupon.I've looked everywhere.Do you not need a coupon if you are buying the Regenerist and you automadically get them free?

      • Sally

I found them in the 2/21 PG insert.

    • CVSSheri

I may have missed it but wanted to mentioned that the Airwick and Lysol I motions are on sale this week for 5.99. There were coupons for 4 and 5 off a couple weeks ago in the paper- plus I had some printable ones, making them .99 or 1.99. Use 4 off 20 and they are basically free.

    • toshatran

I have peelies from Tide Detergent for free Downy. I also have coupons for Tide detergent and Downy Fabric Softener. Can I use the peelie, Tide coupon, and Downy Coupon?

      • kelli

you can use the peelie and the tide coupon. you can't use a coupon on an item that you're already getting for free with another coupon.

        • CVSKristinAllen

Most stores have a policy of one CVS coupon and one manufacturer's coupon per item. The exceptions are $ off $$ coupons and ECB, these you can use as long as you meet the correct $$ and have a positive subtotal before tax.

    • CVSKristinAllen

I've been a cashier for over a decade, and I have had great customers and lousy ones. To make shopping more streamline, I have come up with some handy tips!

      Tip number 1:
If you are making multiple purchases, put your coupons in little plastic sandwich bags (ziplock works well) and label each one. For example,

-$1.25 off Gain, Sav-a-Lot Home Mailer
-$1 off Gain “Thank You Mom” home mailer
      -.50 off Gain, PG 2/07
      might be baggy #1.

Then you just hand me the baggy with the items and relax, I'll do the rest! You can even reuse the baggy for your next visit.

      Happy Shopping!!
      -Kristin

      • CVSKristinAllen

        I'm back!
I don't have my schedule for next week yet, but I hope to have it out by Saturday!
        But here's tip number 2!
$ off $ coupons are fantastic! Say you have the $5 off a purchase of $15 coupon that's been printing out recently.
Go get the bottle of 64 load Gain or Tide that's on sale for $10.99. You might be thinking, “that won't reach the $15 amount needed.” But hear me out. Before the sale price, those bottles are $16.99!

This is what you do. Give me the Tide/Gain and your $5 coupon (and a manufacturer's coupon if you have one). I'll scan the Tide/Gain BEFORE scanning your CVS card. It rings up for $16.99. I scan your CVS card and and then scan the $5 coupon before I hit the subtotal key. This brings the price down to $11.99. Then I hit the subtotal key, which takes off the $6 for the sale price.
Your final price after sales and coupon? $5.99 for 64 loads of Tide/Gain. That's 9 cents a load!!! And if you have a manufacturer's coupon, the price goes down even more! Also, you get $2 in ECB this week on 64 load Tide/Gain!
That makes it like getting it for $3.99 or 6 cents a load before manufacturer's coupons.

        Awesome deal!!!
I know it seems complicated, but all you have to do is reach the qualifying price (in this case $15) before the sale prices are taken.

        Happy Shopping!
        -Kristin

My mom gave me a $5 off $15. Do I need her CVS card to use it? I'm wondering whether the coupons are linked to each individual's card. Thanks for being so helpful!

          • CVSKristinAllen

You must have the CVS card that was used to print the coupon. Many stores may take the coupon anyway, but then they don't get reimbursed for it. This means if you don't have the right CVS card, they may refuse the coupon.

        • alli

          Kristin,
I'm in kennesaw, and i think i use your CVS. I'm JUST trying to figure all this ECB stuff out and so excited that you are at this CVS. Can't wait to meet you and thank you for all of the great tips!

this is legit? can I ask my local cvs cashier to do it??? this sounds too good to be true!!!

          • CVSKristinAllen

You can always ask. Make sure they don't press the total button until after they scan the coupon or this trick will not work. You can also talk to the store manager or customer service. CVS is reimbursed for nearly all coupons, so I don't see a problem with accepting the coupons for items like this.

        • Mysterious_Mentalist

Is this legit? I believe sale price is what the “new price” is and the “regular price” doe snot count. Couple of years ago, I had B1G1 coupons where I had scanned the card after everything, the cashier would deduct full regular price on the item and after the key, I would get even extra off due to sale price. However, they now ask for CVS card first just to make sure that they enter the right sale amount if there is a B1G1 coupon. I know it will work technically, but is it legit?

          • CVSKristinAllen

Acceptance of buy one get one coupons varies by store. Last week during the Buy one get one for a penny sale, there were Purex coupons for BOGO too. My manager accepted them, meaning customers got 2 bottles of purex for 1 penny, plus tax.

Just ask your local cashier for your store's rules about $ off $$ coupons, and if you are not satisfied with the answer, call customer service to ask about the coupon policies.

        • CVSKristinAllen

Note: Different stores have different policies, and even some cashiers may be more stirct or stringent in how they accept coupons. I like to save customers the most amount of money possible without breaking the rules. That way I don't get in trouble, and you walk away happy with a pocket full of ECBs.

To find out your store's policy, talk with the store manager or call 1-800-SHOP-CVS and talk to a customer service rep. Make sure that if you talk to the manager, he or she tells the cashier that day about his or her decision. The managers can get really busy and sometimes things slip through the cracks.

          • Mysterious_Mentalist

I have to disagree. First of all, the way coupons work is universal. When it comes to more complicated and technical issues with coupons combo, then I have found CVS to be the most educated and logical. For example, I have confirmed with CVS that I can use a BOGO coupon on one of the pair item, and a $ off coupon (if I had one) on the other of the pair item. With that said, CVS has just one policy across the board. Another example:- If CVS says Store and manuf coupons can be stacked, then that is what it is-there is no personal preference as to how managers would like to accept it when and how they feel about it.

While technicality is universal across all stores without if or buts, some scenarios may call for optional courteasy. For example, a CVS $5 off coupon may have expired, but some stores/shift managers may be ok with it as long as it scans or may accept it within a number of days/weeks of expiration. And some may simply not consider it at all after a day or two of expiration. I am suspecting that is what you are referring to.

        • Megan

Wow I wish you were in NC. I have asked and asked for this to be done at different locations and finally foudn a cashier who would at a location an hour away. I don't bug them just ask and if they say no oh well. But now the girl at the other store is gone and I am now stuck with all the other cashiers. I have one store where the assistant manager watches me like I am going to steal and will alway conveniantly open a register and check me out and give me a hard time about using my coupons. Needless to say I do not go there very often. Only if I absolutely have to. I am glad there are good people like you. I have one store where the manager loves to watch and see how much I save, she thinks it is wonderful. Thanks again!

    • Heidi

where can I get the “CVS reinventing beauty” coupons?

    • Rhonda

I just got back from CVS and found Organix shampoo for $6.99 with a free rebate tag attached. It was located near the L'Oreal shampoo in my store.

      • sundrop474

I hope you have better luck than me. I bought it a once at WAGS, sent in all required items, still no rebate. This was last year. Now granted, I never followed up on it. Did like the shampoo though.

BE ON THE LOOKOUT FOR CVS BRAND LOTION (classic scent almond cherry. It's comparable to jergens brand. I found it on clearance at CVS in Taylors, SC for $1.37 and I had a $1 off Q for CVS brand body care from the red Q machine. I got 3 for $.37 cents each. reg. $5.49

“.75/1 Colgate Toothpaste SS 2/21” What is the meaning of this plz?

      • wolverinehokie

It means on the Smart Source insert in the paper from Sunday Feb 21 there was a coupon for .75 off Colgate Toothpaste.

        • ready2save

It means…I need to buy the Sunday paper right? Is there any way to get this online?

          • guest

No, you have to actually buy the paper. Or you can check Colgate's website – sometimes companies will offer printable coupons on their websites.

            • wolverinehokie

For that particular coupon, you would have needed to buy last week's paper. If you want SS, RP, or PG coupons in the future, you will have to buy the Sunday paper. A lot of coupons are printable online, but not all of them and not neccessarily the best ones.

    • wolverinehokie

At my CVS, the only Olay Regenerist stuff that worked for the deal was $24. Those same items were about $17 at Walmart. Since the ECB makes them about $6 off per item, they're cheaper at Walmart unless the only thing you want at CVS is those items and you really want to use a $4 off $20.

      • Megan

Well they way I look at it I can do the following deal twice
        1 Olay Regenerist 24

        (1) Olay Regenerist $24 ea
        (1) Olay Body Wash
        Use:
        $5 off $20 CVS coupon
        (1) -$3 off Olay Regenerist PG 1/17
Free Olay Body Wash PG 2/7

        Total Due: $16.00
Then after doing twice get back: $12 ECB
Then turn in the Olay $15 rebate Makes each one 1.25 a piece. Sweet deal.

        • wolverinehokie

You have 2 $5 off? And that is the only thing at CVS that you want?

Because you can do those exact transactions at Walmart and pay $14 each transaction and still mail it in for the rebate. The ONLY benefit to doing it at CVS would be to use the $5 off $20 and there is nothing else at CVS that you want which is what I said in my original post. But with the ear rinse and toothpaste, it seems pretty easy to come up with a better use of the the $5 off $20 coupons.

    • Jennifer

I really dropped the ball and just realized I have $36. in ECB that expired yesterday!!! (sick kiddo, gospel meeting at church this week, UGGGHH!!) I was wondering if anyone had ever had any luck getting them to accept expired ECB???

      • guest

It completely depends on your store. Expired ECBs will beep when scanned at the register, so you can't exactly sneak them in. You will need to ask at your store if they will accept ECBs that just expired – maybe throw in your story of why you weren't able to make it, and hopefully you have a nice store. You may need to ask a manager – if it's not store policy, they will have to approve it and tell the cashier that it's okay to manually accept your expired ECB.

      • CVSKristinAllen

Sometimes customer service (1-800-SHOP-CVS) can reinstate the coupons. They will have to be re-printed and may require you to make a purchase if they are able to reactivate the expired coupons.

        -Kristin

    • Wendy

Can anyone give me a tip on what the “CVS Reinventing Beauty” is and where I can find it? I asked about it at my local CVS this week and was told that CVS only had “clipless” coupons and nothing called CVS Reinventing Beauty. Thanks for the help.

      • guest

Reinventing Beauty is a magazine that is sold in some CVS stores (not all, juse some). You may be able to find it in the cosmetics area, or by the front registers, if your store carries it. It costs $0.99 and there is a coupon insert in the middle of the magazine. Some stores are super-nice and will just leave the coupon inserts out for customers to take and use. But it sounds like your particular store probably does not carry it if they have no idea what it is.

    • Brooke82

I bought the box of the 96 count Pampers the other day and just found 2/$1.00 off any size Tide Stain Relief and 2/.50 cents off any one pampers 60 ct or larger wipes coupons. I was happy because I use both! Also the coupons don't expire until 7/31/11.

    • ywardlaw

I was wondering what is considered a “buy” price for Puffs tissues? I noticed that CVS has them for 0.88…

    • lucy2778

Where did you get the $1.99 Colgate 360 toothbrushes? In my CVS stores all of those start with $3.49 :(

    • Julie

I made this a light week and just picked up the following:

      -Almay I-Color Shadow
      -(3) Pepsi 2-liters

      Used:
      -$2 off Almay
-$8 ecb (cashier adjusted to $7.99 for me)

      Total OOP: $0.78
      Got back $3 ECB

I'm so disappointed in CVS. I went to 3 stores over the past couple of days looking for the Earinse, Huggies, toothpaste, and Cheerios. One store told me that they didn't have any wipes on sale for $2.50, and different offer a raincheck. The next store I went to the wipes rang up 7.99 not 2.50. Since it wasn't in the ad, they wouldn't do a price match. I also printed a $4 off $20 coupon (same one Jenny mentioned above) that I received in an email a couple of days ago. When the cashier tried to ring it, she told me that I already redeemed it on Feb. 10. I explained to her that there was no way I could have redeemed it on that date b/c I just got it in an email this week. The manager did an override for me, but it was a super pain and the cashier told me that “all of these coupons are just too much of a pain.” I told her that saving money is saving money no matter how long it takes.

I always have a hard time finding the best “deals” at CVS b/c they are ALWAYS out of stock even when I go on the same day as the truck comes in. Does anyone else have this problem? I'm considering not going back once I use up my ECBs…

      • Mysterious_Mentalist

Yes, I have but only on very good ECB deals such as the Earrinse, and Thermacare ( a few weeks ago) etc. Unfortunately, for some items, the delivery is only once a week instead of normal twice a week, so it makes it worse. I am suspecting that is what you may be encountering-I am just guessing from my experience. The best would be to go midnight Saturday night for the new sale if its 24 hrs. or go early in the morning of the first day of sale. Nevertheless, you may always ask for a raincheck.

        • jessheartscoupons

Thanks for the advice. I have a 17 mo and I'm about to have a newborn, so shopping at midnight is out of the question. Sunday mornings are out due to church. I've never been offered a raincheck even when I've told the cashier that they were out of an advertised item. I guess I should just speak up and ask for one.

    • Mysterious_Mentalist

I found this problem and if you encounter, you should correct it this way.

      A) Last week, I bought two Covergirl items $6 each, and used 1 B1G1 and 1 $1 Off coupons. The cashier rang up $1 off coupon first. When he scanned B1G1 coupon, the register, according to him, prompted him to enter $5, not $6 because the price was already reduced by one dollar due to coupon on one of the item pair. That was incorrect. I then asked him to void the $1 coupon and scan B1G1 first. So he took out $6 on B1G1, and then scanned the $1 coupon and that is how it went without any glitch-No override was needed.

      B) On the contrary, I bought Oust Sanitzers, and this time scanned B1G1 coupon first, and then I had him scan $1 coupons. But, to my surprise, the regiser beeped. However, the shift supervisor, right there, pressed some key quickly, possibly an override key and the coupon passed thru. I indicated my surprise to them because the register should have accepted it.

I called CVs cust. svce and confirmed with them and they say it is correct to take off $1 or $xx coupon and B1G1 coupon full value because coupon is simply a form of payment and we are still paying full price. Cust. svce said if there was such a “reduced price” or some prompt on register, they should be able to override it without any problem. So, if you come across this issue, let them know the correct way-You get $xx off on one item and full store price on B1G1 coupon, if the register produces a glitch.

    • CVSKristinAllen

New tip of the Day! Clearance items are great buys! And regardless of what you may have been told you can use coupons on clearance items. The coupon value cannot exceed the item price. For example, Glade candle clearance price: 75 cents, coupon value: $1.00. In this example, the cashier may refuse the coupon outright, or try to adjust the value to 75 cents. CVS is reimbursed for all coupons that are scanned so if a cashier refuses a valid coupon, ask for a manager to approve/deny it.

Don't forget, I'm moving my tips and Tricks to the Facebook page CVS Super Shoppers for easy access.

      • Amy_Q

Had a great CVS trip today. My store had the Venus Embrace razors on clearance for $6 (reg. 11.99) so I bought 2 and used 2 Buy a venus razor and get free olay body wash coupons and two $2 off venus razors. I chose the 8.99 olay washes and got both for free. Paid $2 out of pocket with ECB that I had.

    • Amy_Q

I feel like I ROBBED CVS tonight! Went in with a long list of some “high dollar” items. Total Value- $209.37. Total spent- $51.91. BUT- I have $3 in ECBs left over, a $5 off $15 coupon, AND mail-in rebates totaling $34.98, so in the end (including ECBs and rebate money,) my total OOP will be… Ready??? $8.93! YES, …I said EIGHT dollars and NINETY-THREE cents!!! Thanks Jenny and southernsavers!!!

-$1 off any Coca Cola product home mailer (through Recycle Bank)

Not sure if this will work, but I was just at Target, Physicians Formula makeup had $4.00 of peel coupons (man. Q). Would make the Phys. Formula at CVS $6.99 – $4 Q and $5.00ECB back! My store was out of the compact, so I got a raincheck…..going to give it a try at another CVS this afternoon. If you can couple that with the rebate, you've got a super deal. But I have not seen any of the try me free stickers…still looking.
