Anyone else see the $1.50 printable for Folders coffee on coupons.com and CVS has it 2/5 ?

    • Julie Plank

I cannot seem to find the similac coupon on coupons.com. what zip code are you using?

    • lori

Help!!! How do i get a P & G home mailer? somone told me to click on the blue link request coupons. I don’t find it. Is it on Southernsavers.com?

    • CVS Lady

I haven't been so excited for CVS in many, many weeks.

    • http://therabbitpad.blogspot.com/ MacBoy

      Yes. Good week.

I signed up for the P&G “Home Mailer,” but then got another copy of the $110 coupon booklet. That's cool and everything, but what's up with that?

      • courtneyd

Same thing happened to me…not sure why

      • Emilyc

same here and i tried to sigh up again and it told me i could only sign up 1 time within 30 days.

      • Civicsakura

I think that's what I got too, I couldn't even use the first section of Q's in time because I just got it :(

        • http://therabbitpad.blogspot.com/ MacBoy

The first batch coupons expire on 2/28.

      • Guest

I did the same, and got another $110 booklet… and then got the home mailer yesterday. So maybe you will still get it.

      • lori

How do you get the P&G home mailer?

      • http://deedeelovejoy.blogspot.com/ DeeDee_FL

They had a link posted on about every blog to get one of those $110 booklets. That is not the P&G Home Mailer. 2 different things should be showing up in your mail box soon.

        • http://therabbitpad.blogspot.com/ MacBoy

I hope that is the case. :-)

        • Amandam_32

          Same here!

    • tia

there is a q for charmin in p&g coupon booklet too….unless i am reading it wrong

      • Natalie

it's only for the megaroll packs.

        • tia

sorry i am confused :( so does it mean in the ad mega rolls are not included..m thoroughly confused :D pls help

    • MelRae

Jenny, over at I Heart CVS, there is debate about using the b1g1 and the $3 off on the toothbrushes. I was first to mention using both, but then someone came along and said the b1g1 was “coded 14”, and you can't use both. I don't know what “coded 14” means, but I wanted to give folks a heads-up in case it does not work.

      • http://savinsource.blogspot.com/ Suemh

I remember reading somewhere that if the bar code on a BOGO q ended in 14, it attached to both items and you were not allowed to use a q on the first item. If it ends in 01, there is no restriction. However, this simply means that the coupon will probably beep. Some cashiers will push it through. Some people also say that if you present the $3 q first, it is more likely to be accepted.

        • Mcleodsc

I also read somewhere that it attaches to both items, so if you use another coupon it WILL beep. Sometimes the cashier will push it thru, sometimes NOT.

        • Anonymous

The cashiers at my CVS are generally cool and coupon-friendly. I plan to ask about using both coupons before I even get to checkout. I will be surprised if they tell me no. If they do, so be it!

      • Bee

I had a similar situation at CVS and the coupon beeped. I got a lecture about people trying to use more coupons than they should. Let's just say that is the last time I tried to use a $ off coupon with a BOGO.

        • Geff

Which is actually total BS… The companies themselves don't care if people use all the coupons they can… they still get reimbursed for the item from the manufacturer. The problem is some of the workers who think they are losing money when people use coupons. In reality they are making the same amount either way.

          • Phatpatswife

Being one of those workers, I felt the need to respond. The problem with the toothbrush b1g1 coupons has nothing to do with the cashier. P&G new they had $3 off coupons coming out and already had b1g1 coupons out there. They intentionally coded and actually wrote it on the coupon that you can not combine other coupons with these. So don’t be so quick to blame the worker, if the coupin beeps, the coupon beeps.

      • Mel

I've read that before, too, but I mean, how are we supposed to know these things? It's like you need a degree in “bar code interpretation” to use coupons. I wish the manufacturers would write something (even in fine print) on the coupon so we would know. I hate thinking a deal is going to work out a certain way and then a coupon doesn't go through and I'm left clueless. But thanks for the heads up… at least I won't be embarrassed this time.

      • http://therabbitpad.blogspot.com/ MacBoy

I've never had a problem doing both, but I haven't had the opportunity to do that often.

        • Mel

I’ve also done this only a couple times and never had a problem, even when it appeared the cashier was “pushing it through” I just kind of smiled and waited patiently and they never looked at me weird or said anything rude or told me i couldn’t do it.

      • deb

I had a similar situation a few weeks ago on BOGO items. The manager said as long as I had 2 items and 1 q per item she would take the $ off. Basically, one is free and the first toothbrush is getting the $3 off. I believe you could use both – 1 bogo and 1 $3 off. Does this make sense?

    • Jody

So excited about this ad!! I haven't been to CVS in a few weeks and was having withdrawls…haha!

    • tjmj9801

Ugh! Why can't CVS take Target coupons?! There were $1 and $2 off Q's for Charmin and Bounty for Target in this weeks paper. :(

Other than that, great week! A week like this is why I got involved in couponing in the first place! :)

      • Hlbball34

there is a 1 off any charmin coupon and 1 off any bounty in the pamper home mailer its a coupon booklet that you get when you buy diapers!

      • Susan

        Mine in Athens, AL does.

    • Natalie

Jenny…any chance you would be willing to share your “strategy” for planning CVS trips? I don't always have the same coupons you do or need the same things, so I want to keep learning how to maximize what I do have. You seem to mix and match deals across transactions. Any tips? Thanks! :)

      • http://www.southernsavers.com/ Jenny

I'm actually working on a new video just for CVS advanced that hopefully will help a little.

The biggest tip I can give though is to think about everything in your cart at it's after coupon price and then try to match things up that equal the CVS bucks you have.

        • Natalie

Sweet! Can't wait for the video! :) Thanks Jenny! Sometimes I forget other people have several years of practice! You're awesome.

    • anneconover

The deal idea for Axe doesn't work – the coupon is ONLY for bodyspray and deodorant :( (Of course, I really want the shower gel!)

      • Lisabluedevil

But, we could do two deoderants, couldn't we?

        • anneconover

That's the only way it works, so the shower gel shouldn't be included in the description of what to buy or in the description for the coupon. I wish it did apply though; the shower gel is all I'm interested in so I may do the deal anyway!

    • Caitlyn

What do ya'll think about the sunscreen deal? Do you think we will be seeing coupons for sunscreen pop up soon or should I go ahead and start buying the sunscreen?

      Thanks!

      • http://www.southernsavers.com/ Jenny

I am choosing to hold off. We normally see the coupons start around April and we'll see deals throughout the summer. If you are headed somewhere soon though this might be your week.

      • Mel

tons of sunscreen coupons in the summer, I stocked up (we live in FL!) and I have one spray bottle left—I think I was paying 3.50 a spray bottle at the best price.

    • Francomom00

sooo glad I have not used the Free Excedrin coupons!

      • Fallaya

Same here! I have3 free coupons plus a $1 off coupon.

      • Nikki

Can I ask where you got the Free Exedrin coupon?

        • CTaylor

They were mailed out a few months ago I believe. There was a promo where you could sign up for them.

    • Amy

Hello, Folgers coffee will be on sale for $2.50. I printed $1.50 off coupons on Coupons. com using zip code 02356 and $2.50/2 using zip code 90210. I'm so addicted to coffee!

      • Cadgurl1

Thanks for the tip! Tried both zips and they both worked for me!

      • http://savinsource.blogspot.com/ Suemh

Can't find it under any zip I try.

      • malou

Thank you! My husband and I love coffee and those coupons are way better than the 35cents ones.

      • CTaylor

Oh wow, thanks for the tip! It's much appreciated. =) Mine are printed!

      • dweeb

this will go great with the Bilo sale this weekend too!

      • Shortgalal

Amy, you just made my husband a very happy man! I was afraid I was going to have to start switching to Maxwell House, because I can always find coupons for that! THANKS!!!!

        • Mel

I wish my husband liked folgers! he’s addicted to starbucks!

      • June

where will it be on sale for 2.50?

        • June

          ps- got the coupon, THANKS!

        • Amy

It will be on sale at CVS starting 2/27. I think someone else mentioned Bilo?

    • Aliciajsams

      where is the similac coupon

    • lori

how do i get the P&G home mailer?

      • Guest

Click on the blue link “Home Mailer”, click “Request Coupons”, then follow it from there. They take 4-6 weeks to arrive. I requested mine about two weeks ago. I hope it will (somehow) surprise me in the mail tomorrow. ;)

        • lori

Where is the blue link? Is it on Southernsavers.com?

          • Paige

It is on the P&G solutions website. I got mine from liking them on FB.

        • Holly

I must be doing something totally wrong! Am I supposed to see the blue link for “Home Mailer” on the P&G website? I don't see it anywhere!

          • Bamasaver

The blue link is in Jenny's list above. Just click it there & it'll take you to the site where you can request the home mailer.

      • Paula

        P&G Solutions web site.
It takes a while to get it in the mail…but well worth it!

    • Teresa

Hi, I think I read somewhere here that the sales for CVS start at 6pm on Saturday, is that correct?

      • Jhflora654

Some of them to, but YMMV. Check with your store to find out.

      • megs

i think it depends on your region. ours starts saturday morning!

    • Fallaya

Looks like I'll be able to make a $7 profit. I'll share my scenario a little later :-)

    • http://50dollarschallenge.blogspot.com/ NCcouponer

Anyone seen these toothbrushes at CVS before? I'm wondering how many will be in stock…..

      • sarahcas

I'm using one of these toothbrushes right now (I think, if not it's similar) that I got at CVS several months ago. They didn't have a TON in stock but they had several. They're the one time use battery toothbrushes, not the ones that you replace the heads for.

      • MLJ

at my CVS if they dont carry the product they give you whatever is closest for the same deal

    • Hlbball34

i want to do the 10 ecb when you buy 30 dollars of product. I also have a coupon for 5 off 25 dollar purchase can i use this coupon and stil get the 10ecb back? if i am thinking right its as long as its before tax right?

      • Mel

        You bet!

      • wendy r

        yes you can use :)

    • NJCOUPS

There is a $3 Coupon in the Nexxus Samples many of us sent away for a few weeks ago. Came in the mail last week.

    • Jthornton

Can you use a $10 off $50 coupon and bucks back in the same transaction?

      • CTaylor

Yes if I am understanding your question correctly, you can. :) Use the coupon and you can use your extrabucks with it, and you are still eligible to receive them as well.

        • Jthornton

          Thanks!!

    • http://www.facebook.com/lesnyder Lauren Snyder

There is a $4 off $20 in CVS emails as well!

    • Juli

I knew I was holding onto those Free Excedrin coupons for something! :)

      • Absutton

I just said the same thing to my husband!

      • CTaylor

        Yup me too!! :)

    • Happy Feet

I can't believ my exp. today.. I wanted to to get a refund and I had my receipt.. she handed my stuff back to me and told me I had to goback to the store I purchased it at…when i told her I was out of town… she told me I still had to take it bac k there. o(

      • Fallaya

        That's the first I've heard of that…

      • Nysummer2010

it happened to me once @ RiteAid. Per what the cashier said, they don't refund the items which are not carried in their store.

        • tjmj9801

But it would be different if you couldn't go get the same items off of their shelf (like they don't sell that specific item at all). I think the cashier was just being lazy.

      • Mcleodsc

That is ridiculous! I would call and complain to the manager. If he agrees with the cashier, then I would move up the ladder and complain to the district manager. What are you suppose to do-mail in the items to the other store and hope for a refund? I shop at out-of-state stores when traveling. I bought clothing for my Grandson while in Michigan at JC Penny and returned it to a store in SC after the items would not fit. I think the cashier made up a “new” rule!

      • http://twitter.com/jessicahaleyy Jessica

I've been a cashier at cvs for 5 years and the ONLY time we ever tell anyone that is if its without a receipt and its for a high dollar item that we assume they stole and its a lot easier to say that than just flat out refusing it and causing an argument. In your situation as long as that receipt is in date and the stuff wasn't ruined, then the cashier was wrong.

    • Lori

$1 off 6pk or larger Bounty in the 1/30 PG, expires 2/28. Just checked!

      • Mollieirene

        Thanks Lori!

    • Guest

Fun week! Lots of toilet paper and paper towels headed our way! …Not to mention our favorite toothpaste for FREE!

    • Jennifer

Can someone tell me how you get things like the Organize in Style home mailer or the Proctor and Gamble $110 booklet. These odd kinds of things throw me off, since I am still new….

      • firstbrownie

The Proctor $110 booklet was a rebate that ended in December. However, they do these often. Usually, you have to send in receipts of $50 worth of P&G stuff and then they send you a booklet. Recently, they were offering the booklets on Facebook, too. As for the Organize in Style, those were offered recently from P&G too. Jenny will often post when a new booklet is available on their site. Hang in there, and eventually you will have the “extra” coupons too!!

        • Syndilew

Actually, they are doing a new Organize in Style booklet right now. Head to their website or else go to hunt4freebies to get it.

          • LylithC

Just checked out the hunt4freebies website…how awesome! Thanks for the tip!

      • Zinniasgive

You should be able to sign up for the Organize in Style home mailer through this link: https://www.thepromotionaloffer.com/hmsdrtv/?source=mrclean

      • Anonymous

Also, sign up for Jenny’s emails so you can stay on top of the deals she posts.

    • Heather

I have a $ off $20 CVS coupon, but it says it can't be combined with other CVS coupons. Does this mean it can not be used on a purchase along with ECBs??

      • http://savinsource.blogspot.com/ Suemh

No. ECBs are considered as cash.

        • Heather

          Thank you!!

    • Barbie

On the “Getting started scenario” transaction #2 green bag tag for 99 cents, what is that? (the green bag tag itself, what is it?) Thanks.

      • Barbie

Never mind, I found it on CVS website, duh….

      • http://www.southernsavers.com/ Jenny

It's the best filler item ever! You get paid $1 now every 4th time you come to CVS and bring your own bag.

      • Wdra0632

It is a leaf shaped card found at the checck out, scan it each visit and after 4 visits you get a $1 ECB on your receipt. I attach mine to a resusable cloth bag purchased at the Bath and Body that way I don't have to get so many plastic bags that seem to accumulate when drug store shopping. HTH

    • Lucy

What an awesome ad, with things that I actually NEED!!! I think it's a good week to use my weird $10/$50 coupon from the red machine. Anyone know if they will take a $10/$50 BEFORE the manufacturers coupons?

      • Guest

yes…. make sure you hand it to them first, then all your coupons/ecb.

    • hope

Good luck trying to find that oral b battery powered toothbrush…..

      • Thesmithsofop

        My CVS gives rainchecks.

      • Patscoups

If you miss it, just get a rain check. Last time, after I couldn't get it for several weeks, I finally asked the cashier to call me if next time they got one in. They called then next Friday and held it for me until I could get there on Saturday. Then they honored the 2 month old rain-check and the expired coupon!

    • Practice_peace

Can someone tell me where to find the “Get More From Your Pharmacy” booklet. Thanks!!

      • Sb

        Kroger pharmacy

    • Pegm

2 other blog sites I've read (CVS-specific ones) seem to think the P&G $10 ECB wyb $30 applies only to the page 1 items in the yellow field. I'd be so happy if Jenny's scenarios are right and it also applies to the P&G items on pages 2&3. Otheriwise, I'd have to buy intensively from a smaller group of stuff in order to add up to $30. So how can I know for sure what's what?

      • Nanhancan

iheartcvs lists the same items as Jenny; altho, simplycvs excludes the Pantene and Tide. Looking at the add, I would guess they are included, but am not 100% sure.

        • Pegm

Thanks Nanhancan. I got so excited with the whole CVS ad that I didn't read Jennie's scenario closely enough. At first I thought that she was including all the P&G products on pgs. 2 & 3 in this deal. Now I see it's just the ones on pg. 1. Thanks to your reply, I looked at her list more closely. Oh well, I'll still make out pretty well this week.

    • Buicknut

Does Rogain for men CVS concidered hair care and get the 10 ECB??

    • Wdra0632

Jenny, will you get the $2 ECB for the Puffs in #2 even if you have not met the $30 P&G deal? Because I saw that you listed it and used it for #3. Thanks for the help.

      • Stacielovescoupons

The $2 ecb is for the Kashi product (it's a $2 ecb for buying 2- and the 1st one was purchased in Trans. #1)…it took me a few minutes to figure that out when I first saw it too.

    • Couponj

I see comments below about a $10 off 50… where is this coupon? Thanks!

      • smash

This would have come out of the red kiosk in the store when you scan your CVS card.

    • Scsaver2010

I am new to the cvs deals and have a question about the axe b1g1 coupon for the $5 ecb when you buy $15 dove, axe, etc….in which order do I hand the cashier my coupons and extracare card? I've read in previous posts where people has problems getting the b1g1 coupons accepted. This would be a great deal for me if I knew how to “work” it. Thanks!

    • CouponAddict

Correct me if I'm wrong, but according to the CVS ad, the Oral B cross action toothbrush is listed in the ad as $6 -$3eb for next purchase. It shows the 3eb like minus a coupon, So they are showing what it would cost *after* EBs. Its really $9 ea.

      • mr

Jenny has it right. It's $6 and you get $3 ECBs.

    • Katkoupon

If you got your free chef boyardee coupon in the mail this week (from walmart) can get 2 free cans!

    • guest

      the pringles on sale 2for 3dollars can ido 1dollar off 2 50 off 1

      • Firstbrownie

The $1 off 2 will attach to both pringles, as you can only use one coupon per item. Or buy just one and use the .50/1. HTH!

    • al

Can anyone find the similac coupon

    • itismedia

I have been been couponing forever, but I am finally trying to get into CVS. I have been doing pretty well the last few weeks, but I have a question. In the P&G deal, if I buy 6 packs of charmin the total will be 29.94. Is that close enough or do I need to throw some Dawn or Puffs in there to go over?
      THANKS for the help!

      • http://twitter.com/concertchristal concertchristal

        itismedia-
Has to be $30 BEFORE tax. :) So yeah, a puffs will work :) Good luck!

        • itismedia

I was pretty sure this was the answer! =+) Thanks for answering so quickly!

        • Lori

I did the deal tonight, and the receipt indicates that it will trip at 29.50, instead of 30.

      • Katie

it must depend on your store. I have gotten the ECBs when im within 0.10 before (29.90 i believe)

      • Gingiraffe

I have done deals like this in the past and it works if you are within a few cents. Try it and see. If it doesn't print, then just purchase the puffs or dawn on a seprate transaction and it will print then. You do not have to purchase all of the required items in one transaction to receive the ECB. It will print after you have completed the total deal. On your recceipt it will tell you how much is needed to earn the deal and how much you have already spent. Does that make sense? Like this past week I bought 2 john freida shampoos on different days. The ECB printed after the second purchase on the second day.

        • itismedia

Wow! I look at couponing as a job and study up on everything (even though I have been at it for over 10 years) and I learned something today! Thanks! I did not realize I could break the ECB deals down into different orders. I have only been at CVS for about 3 weeks, but I have been buying the required items in one transaction. Thanks again. It just proves no matter how much you know you can still learn from others!

      • Sarcasticangel_82

just buy a dawn dish soap w/it, it is very cheap if not free with some of the cupons. :)

      • gardengirl

at cvs, when you use your card, the computer keeps up w/ how close you are to earning the ecb's so you don't have to buy everything in one trip. I go on mondays and usually somethings i want are already sold out. i get what they have and go back on thursday when they get their deliveries to finish my ecb deals.

      • Mel

it should print and even if it doesn't just mention to the cashier, I bought all this and it didn't print and they'll look at it and may manually print the EB, this happened once to me when I actually got something clearance priced and so my total was about .70 less but she printed my EB. with the maalox deal a few weeks back I was at like 19.70-something and the deal was spend $20, but my EB printed no problem

    • Guest

Nice surprise in bi-lo today, someone left a $.25/1 Charmin coupon propped up by the tp, just waiting for someone to pick it up. Still hoping to find $1/1 coupons when I go to purchase mine on Sunday, but $.25 is better than nothing. I'm gonna try to start leaving some of my unwanted coupons laying around to surprise someone else. :)

      • itismedia

I do this all the time. If I have a coupon that is close to expiring (withing the week) I know I am not going to use it so I leave it near the product as a suprise. I have found a couple of great coupons too. Obviously I am not the only “coupon fairy” in my area! =+)

        • Kristy

Love coupon fairies. I found a cpn on the shelf tonight when shopping at Kroger.

    • Kenzbug

I made my first trip to CVS tonight and bought some Cover Girl make up and got back $3 ecb. Next week I want to get the toothpaste for $3.29 (get $3.29 ecb back) and use a $1/1 coupon making it $2.29 and use my $3 ecb I received tonight. My question is, do I need to purchase another item in order to use my $3 ecb on that transaction, since the total won't even be $3 or does the difference stay on my card? I hope that makes since, I think I have completely confused myself. :-))

      • Snowkatleo

You will need to buy another item, ir you will lose that 71 cents. The ECB will be adjusted down to $2.29.

      • Guest

Yes, you would need to purchase something else or they can adjust the ECB down but then you would be losing .69.

      • LoveCoupons

You will have to buy something else or you will end up loosing the difference from your ECB.

      • Kenzbug

Thanks so much everybody. I thought I might have to purchase a small something. Now, I can't wait for the new sale this week!!

    • Gingiraffe

Just curious…does anyone know why the Caress body wash is NEVER included in the deals when they do the Caress/Dove deals? It's always Dove body wash/Dove bar soap/Caress bar soap, but not Caress body wash! That is my favorite and I wish they would include it in the deal!

    • Tara Pennington

I cannot wait for tomorrow night! This ad is awesome. Plus, I have 14ecb to go into this week! :) Very giddy, if you can't tell!

    • Sonicbluel

Does anyone know if the $1off charmin mega roll in p&g $110 booklet will work on this sale?

      • Sarcasticangel_82

I was wondering the same thing…..I plan to take them just to see.

        • Guest

please post your experience- I have those coupons too
          Thanks

          • Sarcasticangel_82

            They worked for me….

            • itismedia

Do you know if they came off or if the cashier had to push them through?
My CVS will not push them through.
              Thanks for your help!

      • Katie

just left cvs and the charmin that was on sale was not the megaroll, they were the regular rolls, 9 count i believe

      • Sarcasticangel_82

My CVS took those cupons! :)

    • Crafty_cat_86

Another fun deal: the hershey's peices stand-up bags (8oz.) are on sale 2/$5 this week. if you got 2 cvs q's from the red box for $2 off (like i did) this past week and use on $2/2 manu q from 1/30 (RP?) you have a $1 mm! (red box q's say off total purchase)

      • Mcleodsc

Thanks! I just left the CVS. I had the cashier help me locate an 8 oz. product to use the coupon on. There were NO 8 oz packages. Now I will know what I am looking for on Sunday when the new sales start!!

      • Haylea82

Found this one too! The MF coupon is actually in SS 1/30.

      • lowcountry Q

glad I just read this! I just threw that red box Q away as to not tempt myself with chocolate and had to dig it out of the trash! LOL

      • Mmleininger

Wonderful deal Crafty cat, thanks so much. I only one of the CVS coupons, but combined with the Manf Qpn, its still only $1 for 2 and I can handle that. Especially because my husband has been begging for the Reese's Minis and my daughter the York Pieces. ;-)

    • Lucy

The Buy One Get One Free Oral-B Toothbrush coupon has this restriction in the small print: “Limit one coupon per purchase of products and quantities stated.”

Since the coupon is coded to beep with the use of another coupon, I'm guessing that Proctor and Gamble specifically intended to preclude the use of the B1G1 free toothbrush coupons with any other coupons (for instance the $3 off coupon that will be coming in the 2/27 P&G coupon insert).

When the coupons beep and the cashiers won't push them through, please don't get upset. Just be happy that you're getting the toothbrushes for free. There will be other opportunities to make a $ or two here and there.

      • mandy

My CVS is so great about pushing coupons like that through. Hope others will too! Mine also takes competitors coupons which is great with all the Walgreens coupons out right now!

      • Lowcountry Q

I was in line earlier behind a woman who was trying to use another Q on the toothbrushes (looked like a P&G mailer) and cashier wouldn't let her use it. I decided then to go ahead and get my toothbrushes now with the BOGO and not wait for tomorrows xtra Q and risk the shelves being empty. My cashier gave the full value of the toothbrush on my BOGO Q ($7.49) when sale price was $6 so I still made $1.49. Plus had free Q's and did the excedrin deal, and 2-$1 off Scope outlast Q's, so came out $5 ahead AFTER taxes. Not a bad trip!

      • DCH1

just got back from CVS and i could noy use 3$ manuf.coupon on B1G1 in my CVS

        • Mom2boys

Me either! However, I'm not going to complain, I still think it was a good deal considering I earned 6 ECB!

          • Ape2658

It will work, you have to give them the $3 off first to scan, then give them the B1G1. It worked today. It has to be in that order.

            • Lucy

It doesn't matter if you can get around the register beeping. The B1G1 Free coupon specifically states that only 1 coupon can be used on the purchase of the two toothbrushes.

P&G has changed their wording on their coupons to read, “Limit one coupon per purchase of products and quantities stated. Limit of 4 like coupons in same shopping trip.” And they coded the B1G1 free coupon so that if would beep if combined with another coupon. It couldn't get much plainer than that… Companies are changing to limit coupon use. We should respect that change and be happy with the deals we can get with using the single coupons.

      • JustUnicycle

Wow… Never read it like that. Quite a few must be worded like that. I hate pushing these through, but with no training this is the only site that gives me a little help. I will have to file this info away for tonight.

    • Organical1

      >>>>>>>>>COUPON ALERT>>>>>>>>
I don't know if anyone has already mentioned this. If any anyone printed from the RED COUPON MACHINE about 2 weeks ago, there was a $1.50 off any SOFTSOAP Product coupon that printed. Softsoap body wash is $2.99 with a $2 ECB in return. So that makes it free plus $.50 moneymaker.

    • Organical1

      QUESTION?????????
What is the coupon order when using manufacturer coupons and store coupons together when their is an overage?
      PURCHASE:
      (4) bags of the hershey pieces $10.00

      COUPONS:
      (2) $2/2 Manufacturer Q's
      (4) $2 Store Q's

      • Mel

I don't think it matters, even with the $4/20 CVS Q's, you could give that last and it still goes through without an issue. I just hand over the big stack of Q's and it always works.

        • JustUnicycle

$4/20 you want to use first. While most of the time it still goes through when it is under $20 after coupons, sometimes I have to start all over. No use in risking it. Otherwise, manuf. coupons take off tax and CVS coupons don't. Only important for 5% of trans.

    • LUCENTK

HI WHAT IS THE ZIP FOR THE EXCEDRIN COUPON????

    • Firstbrownie

Don't forget the $3 off $10 cosmetic coupon from a few weeks ago!!
I bought the Physical's Formula today: $13.99. Used $3 peelie on the product, $3 of $10 cosmetic purchase, and $7 off Physical's Formula (from coupon machine). Great deal, plus I got $7 ECB back!

    • Lucy

$3.29 ECB WYB Crest Pro-Health Toothpaste, 4.2 oz., Crest 3D White Vivid Toothpaste, Clinical Gum Protection Toothpaste, 4 oz., Crest Multi-Protection Rinse, 8.4 oz

      -$1 off Crest Rinse Pro-Health, 440-500 mL, PG 1/30 (EXP 02/28)

The $1 off coupon for the Crest Rinse listed above can't be used. It's for the 440-500mL size product. The size of the Crest Pro-Health Rinse on sale is only 8.4oz (250 mL). While it's still free after ECB it's not a MM. :-( If you're wanting a MM choose a different product that has a coupon…

    • Rachel Raber

went to cvs today and tried to get the Nature Made 1/1 free only to find out its really Natures BOUNTY… oh well… :)

      • guest

my ad said nature made B1G1

      • itismedia

If you have a Kroger they are BOGO and have been all month. Maybe you can get what you were looking for there??

    • Guest

Trying to decide if it's a good enough deal to get four of the toilet paper and two paper towels… or should I hold off… Thoughts?

      • guest

i just got back and got 2 Tide, 2 Dawn, 2 Paper Towels and 1 TP, I used $1 off everything except the dawn which was .25 off and 7 ecbs from a few weeks ago and my oop was still 20….to me it wasnt all that great but you do get 10 ecbs back

    • Jo20

Just got back from CVS. The Crest sensitive toothpaste rang up at $1.04 each (instead of $3.29), and still printed $3.29 ECB each too! Nice!

    • Linds..:)

Hey ya'll…can someone please help me find the first set of Excederine coupons? I have the ones from their website, but can't find the ones from SouthernSavers website. Thanks so much!

    • Kandace

how are you guys going on sat night when there are coupons needed to use like on the oral b toothbrush that will be in the paper tomorrow? is there somewhere you can get a sun paper on sat. night?

      • SavingForFamily

In the Atlanta area, the Sunday early edition of the AJC is out on Saturdays. The coupons are in there. I buy mine if I am out on Saturday evenings in the grocery stores.

    • Mslonas

I had $5 expired ECB that I never used (I know, Im a dope)….but the cashier told me to call the CVS 800# and they “should” re-instate them to use another time, she said it shouldnt be a problem, but it might be alittle bit before their valid again….yay!! Im so excited, has anyone ever done this before and was able to use the expired ones again?

      • breese

If it hasn't been expired too long, some stores will take it. I shop at a couple CVS locations a lot and they will take it if expired. Check with the manager.

      • Lorinda

I was a day late before and the manager told me “no problem” and just keyed it in,

      • JustUnicycle

They have been constantly changing the system. For a while it didn't reject expired coupons for a few days, but I think now it is smart. I know they will issue you a $1 EBC if you lose your GBT, so it wouldn't surprise me if they would help you out on this. Usually I get good CVS hotline support.

      • Anonymous

I don’t think they can reinstate them but depending on your store, they may still take them expired.

    • Couponkelly75

Does anyone know if the P&G deal on Bounty and Charmin at CVS is a better deal than what Target is doing this week? There is a $5 Target gift card when you buy select P&G items which includes Bounty and Charmin.

      • DebTN

I don't know about Target, but Bounty and Charmin are a better deal at Kroger this week if you have a Kroger and they allow you to stack e-coupons and paper ones.

      • itismedia

I looked at the Target deal after you posted this (I am trying to stock back up too).

Target – If you buy 2 – 18pks of charmin and use 2 – 1.00 store coupons and 2 – 1.00 manufacture coupons it is 15.98 divide that by the number of rolls (36) = .44 a roll. Plus a 5.00 gift card

CVS – If you buy 6 – 12pks and use 6 – 1.00 manufacture coupons it is 23.94. Divide that by the number of rolls (72) = .33 a roll. Plus 10.00 in ECBs

DebTN below is right, Kroger is cheaper if yours lets you combine e-coupons and paper, but you can only use the e-coupons once so you would only be able to buy one 12pack.

        Hope that helps – =+)

        • DebTN

Maybe there will be some really good Charmin coupons in the paper tomorrow and we can stock up at CVS (and get that one good deal at Kroger).

          • Ems5594

            I believe it's only a $.25/1 :(

          • itismedia

Do you have the P&G 110.00 book? There are 1.00 off coupons in there. HTH

    • Frugal4eva

If I get the P&G 10ECBs, when I used that ECB, do I have to spend it all at once on ONE product (like at Rite Aid?) Thanks! Or is it just on one purchase (multiple products?) Thanks!

      • Jen

You have to spend it in one transaction or you loose it. It doesn't have to be just one item.

        • Frugal4eva

          Thank you! Perfect!

    • Frugal4eva

If you break up the P&G into 2 or 3 transactions, but still spend $30 in one day, do u still get the $10 ECB? Thanks.

      • Heather

You can break it up into different transactions and you don't have to spend $30 in one day. You will get your $10 ECB so long as you spend $30 on those products this week.

        • Frugal4eva

          Thanks so much!

    • Mom2boys

I'm sure this has been asked before, but if I buy two of the Crest toothpastes, will it ring up one ECB for 7.58 or two for 3.29 each? Again, sorry if this is a question that has already been asked!

      • Corey G

It rings up as one for 7.58

        • Tammie

uh-oh, now I am trying to remember if I have bought more than one of the same item at a time, and I don't think I have (except for diet cokes)!! Okay, I need to change my answer.

      • Tammie

They will ring up separately, 3.29, 3.29.

      • Mom2boys

Thanks! I guess I'll have two seperate transactions for the toothpaste.

    • Sharylcoupon

if I have 2 reusable can I get a leaf for each one

      • Tara Pennington

you could, but you can only have 1 green bag tag per day scanned to your card. so having two really wouldn't do any good unless you forgot one and had the other one. you can't scan 2 in one day.

        • Surprised

You can't scan the same leaf in one day, but you can scan 2 different leaves (or however many different leaves you have) to your card in the same day. I did it once accidentally and got 2 green bag tag credits on my card that day.

          • Surprised

And that would be 2 separate transactions, as well. One leaf per transaction.

            • Phatpatswife

You can not scan a leaf more then ones a day per card. If it happened to some of you once or twice it was a fluke and you got lucky. The leaf attachs to the card it was scanned for. So if you go in and buy something and use the leaf and your card, it’s going to register on your card that it’s been scanned for the day. If you have a friend with you who doesn’t have a leaf but had a card, she could scan your leaf with her card and also get credit, but you can not get credit more then once a day for the same card no matter how many transactions or stores you go to.

          • JustUnicycle

Ummm, all leafs are created equal. (Look on the GTB rack, they all have the same barcode) so the system may be doing something weird, I have been able to scan 2x in a day, but not usually.

        • Prsol

Also, if you have another CVS nearby, consider doing your second transaction in a different location. You may scan the leaf once per store but you can go on a “road trip” and scan that same leaf in different locations (I think it allows up to 4 times a day.) You would have to consider the cost of gasoline and time, though.

    • Ems5594

Does anyone know about how much the Nature Made vitamins run? Thanks!

      • guest

They range. from about 4.99-30+ for different ones

      • Godot

Watch for $3 off at the coupon center — I got one.

    • Mozella

Does anyone know if Excedrin PM will be included in the Excedrin $20 deal?

      • Hintoncoupons

I just came back from my Lexington CVS and ALL Excedrin is included in the deal.

        • Mcleodsc

          It's included in Sumter, SC

          • Mozella

            Thanks!:)

        • Mozella

          Thank you! :)

    • Hintoncoupons

Just came back from my local CVS. I brought (5) Tide and (1) Dawn. I had (5) $3 off Tide coupons that I'd been saving and a$1 off Dawn coupon..plus $10ECB and my OOP cost was $6.78(with 4.64 in taxes)!!! EXCITING!!!

    • Hintoncoupons

Oh..did I forget to mention I still got my $10ECB…so technically it was all free with overage!! Exciting!!

    • cpn_rook

Does CVS allow overage if a coupon is for more than the price of the item? For example on the 2/$5 hershey peices if I use (2) $2 off CVS coupons and (1) $2/2 manuf. coupon, can I use that extra dollar on another item during that transaction?

      • Guest

Usually mine scans without a problem…

      • itismedia

I tried it last week with Pantene gel and it didn't work for me. They had the gel on clearance for 1.37 and I had a 3.00/2. First it kicked it back so I said I would get a third gel so that it would go over 3.00. The computer accepted it then, but would only give me the cost of 2 of the gels (2.74). Really weird if you ask me, but it wasn't the cashier. It was the computer. I didn't complain. I still got 3 tubes of gel for 1.37. I just do not understand the computer's “thinking” and neither did the cashier.

    • Sanran0116

I just made my run to CVS. I was the first in the store. I got $179.06 worth of products for….$31.20 …and I have a $3.00ECB and a $4.00 off $20.00 for next time!!! I love CVS!!!

      • Prsol

I think I got to the store after you left! … LOL I figured I had a good chance of getting my 3 transactions done but found the shelves empty! :-( Toothbrushes were gone and they have not re-stock Purex.

Do you have a blog or something where you detail all your transactions? I'm new to CVSing and still learning how to play with the ECB. ;-) Thanks!

    • Klynn

Does anyone know if I can buy 2 puffs w/ vicks and use $1 off vicks product and b1g1 puffs wyb vicks and get both free?

      • wendyc33

        yes u can..

        • Klynn

          thank you very much.

          • Rwilson

Did it work for you? I am going to CVS in a little while and was wondering the same thing. Thanks!

            • Frugal4eva

No, I couldn't use the $1 off Vicks, but I did use the Buy one Vick's, get free Puffs….and I used .50/2 puffs Q. Still a great deal.

            • Klynn

No. they would not let me use $1 off vicks. Said it wasn't a vicks product They did take the B1G1. I didn't understand because the B1G1 was for wyb vicks. I was still happy to get 3 free and .50/2. If I would have had one more puffs I could have used another .50/2.

      • Frugal4eva

What is the B1G1 puffs WYB VICKS Q? Where did you get that. Thanks!

        • Frugal4eva

          Oh go it. Thanks!

        • Klynn

Today's P&G. It says buy any vicks product get puffs free. I'm assuming the second one can be any puffs. There was $1 off vicks product in P&G 1/16 and 1/30

    • a guest

can you divide $10 extra care bucks in 2 trips?

for instance if i buy something for less than $10 dollars and i use my $10 ecb will they give me the difference of the ecb back, or will they not accept the ecb since its under the price anyways. Thank you!!

      • Amy J.

If you have one ECB for $10, then no, they will not give you back the difference. If you had two or more ECB's that totalled $10, then you could use the separate ECB's on separate transactions. Unfortunately, CVS does not give the difference back on ECB's. HTH!

      • guest

You must spend each ECB voucher in its entirety. If you have 2 $5 ECB's you can spend them seperately

    • Tiffany Yost

Ok i'm very new to the CVS extrabucks and am attempting to go today. Here's what I was planning on doing but i'm not sure if it's the correct way. Also, I will get $10 ecb with the trans #1 and with trans #2 I have to spend $30 to get another $10 ecb…do I have to spend $30 after the $10 ecb from trans #1 and coupons are deducted from the total or can it be before?

Trans #1 – 2 HP Ink Jet Cartridges (earn $10 ecb)
Trans #2 – 2 Charmin products, 2 Bounty products, 2 Tide laundry soap, 1 Dawn product and Crest toothpaste (earn $13.29 ecb)
Trans #3 – 2 Tide stain release, 1 Cascade and 1 Downy softner.

      Any assistance is greatly appreciated!!

    • tarabj

Dove Men+ Care Body and Face Wash was ringing up at my store for $3, not $4.99.

    • Tiffanyellingson

in case anybody is doing the axe/dove deal…the axe deoderant is on sale for $3.99, not $4.49. I figured this out the hard way, i got 2 axe deoderants and 2 dove shampoos and use the appropriate coupons, but ended up $1.02 short on the extra care bucks deal because the actual price of the axe was lower than posted on here. this is the second time this has happened to me so i will be following the ads more closely from now on. blah!

      • itismedia

Do you have a 2.00 off Dove coupon? You could get one more Dove (3.50) – the coupon, owe 1.50 and get the 5.00 in ECB's???

      • jessica

that happened to me with the covergirl spend $10 get $3 ECB, it was .20 less than advertised and i didn't get the ECB! so i had to buy a 3.99 eyeshadow w/ $1 off coupon and basically just broke even to get the $3 ECB. funny how we want the price to be higher so we can get the ECB sometimes!

    • Jenni L

My CVS would not accept the BOGO toothbrush Q and the $3 off. Bummer! However, I found certain brands of the Dove deodorant and Dove body mist on clearance for half off. Pair these with the Axe BOGO Q and the $2 Dove Q's and I paid $6 plus got the $5 ECB.

      • Elizabeth

I went to CVS this morning and they would not let me use both coupons either, darn!

      • Julie

They wouldn't let me do it either. THe machine beeped and she wouldn't push it through. Oh well. Not a moneymaker, but still a good deal.

        • Bizzeemom

The machine beeped on mine as well. It took the B1G1 coupon, but beeped on the $3 off. The cashier pushed it through. Just depends on the cashier, I guess.

      • itismedia

Mine went through no problem. The register didn't even beep. Technically you should be able to. The BOGO is for the free one and the 3.00 is for the other one. It does not say anywhere that no other coupons can be used. The fine print reads the same as all other P&G coupons. Did they give you a reason?

    • Vdavidso53

What week did the Proctor & Gamble $110 booklet come out?

      • Ajsprecious90

You have to catch the special on P&G's website or on Facebook. I missed out on it this last time.

      • itismedia

They have a special once or twice a year where if you buy 50.00 in P&G products (before coupons) over a certain period of time they will send you one. This year they must have had extra because they ran a special on Facebook. I managed to catch it and they sent me another one. It is exactly the same as the first one. Not complaining. =+)

    • Angela

2 Oral B battery toothbrushes, 2 Crest satin glide floss, 1 Pro Fusion razor, 1 Revitalens solution, 1 bag Reeses Pieces, 1 bag Almond Joy pieces….$2.86 oop :) Good day at CVS!

      • DebTN

My store opened at 10. I got there at 10:10. Reeses gone, Hershey's gone, crest mouthwash gone. Sigh. I did get 1 razor, 1 Revitalens, and 2 Dawn so I was still pretty happy.

        • artlady

Is your store one of the ones that starts the next week's sales on Saturday night? Some of them do that… I've never been near one that does, but maybe that's what happened. It just doesn't make sense for them to be completely cleared out in 10 min. unless they were very inadequately stocked to begin with.

          • Bauercandace

One of ours here in Martinez, Georgia begins their sales on Saturday night, just not with the signs out. But if you get the product, it rings up as Sunday morning's prices and with ECB.

        • Angela

You still did pretty good! This was the first time my store actually ha a lot of all the sale items, everything was fully stocked, I was there around 8.30am.

    • Ajsprecious90

You have to catch the special on P&G's website or on Facebook. I missed out on it this last time.

    • Ape2658

It will work, you have to give them the $3 off first to scan, then give them the B1G1. It worked today. It has to be in that order.

    • Ape2658

It will work, you have to give them the $3 off first to scan, then give them the B1G1. It worked today. It has to be in that order.

    • Holliejolly

Ok, here is my scenerio. Buy 5 tide detergent + 5 tide stain release + 1 dawn. Use 5 B1G1 coupons (buy tide get stain release free) + 5 $3/1 stain release + .50/1 dawn. After extra bucks get 5 tide, 5 stain release, and 1 dawn for $5.15 + tax.

      • Extrafor6

I'm not sure that you can use the $3/1 stain release because the B1G1 mfc is giving you the stain release free. If you had and $ off coupon for the tide detergent, then you could use that. Just don't want you to get beeped :)

      • Seb

The B1G1 states that it is for buying the 75 oz or larger Tide. The Tide that is on sale is the 50 oz. Also, the P&G coupons say limit 4 like coupons in one transaction. Hope this helps :)

      • firstbrownie

The $3 stain release coupons are for a larger product that than the free ones with the BOGO coupon. So that scenario shouldn't work….sorry! The cashier may push them through without reading the coupons correctly, but it would be wrong to try to use them all.

    • Amp694

there was a lot of clearance at my Store. I scored 15 bottles of body was for about $6.00

      • Bbaker1028

Mine too!! I used some BOGO coupons and the item purchased was cheaper than the item for free!

      • patagonia

Thats a lot of body wash.

      • Fallaya

Wow, how cool! I need more body wash. I use it as hand soap, and I'm running low. I've been using all the free body wash I've gotten over the past year, and it far exceeds the amount I need for actually showering. I'll have to take my tot with me tomorrow to see what we can find!

    • Jen

I forgot…do you use the BOGO coupons first then the dollar off or the other way around????

      • Josie

        $ off coupon first!

    • Bill

Has anyone ever had a problem using a coupon on a clearance item? At any store? I never have until now. The cashier at CVS told me I couldn't use a $1.50 off coupon on a bag of valentine's Butter Finger candy that had been marked down to $1.75. Anyone ever have this happen?

      • itismedia

I had a problem last year with some toothbrushes. They marked through the UPC code so that the cashier had to manually ring it up. When I tried to use the coupons the computer refused them. It said I had not purchased the item (technically because it was not scanned) and they would not let me use them. However, I used a 3.00/2 Pantene coupon the other day on clearance gel, but to get it to work I had to buy three and then it would only give me off 2.74 (the cost of 2 of the gels). Weird. I know telling you this did not help at all! =+) Just know we are in it with ya. =+)

        • DebTN

I bought some Loreal face cream on clearance a few weeks ago at CVS and used a coupon. $20 cream for $3. Now I check the clearance stuff every time I go in.

      • JO

Was it an item that was scanned or was put in manually with the upc code marked through. I had it happen to me twice . Once with the item that was in the system(it was clearance make-up) the coupon scanned right away. The second time the item was marked down suntan lotion that had a hand written clearance price. The cashier said they did not do that on clearnce. I told her that she had to put the coupon through manually since the item was put in manally and I told her about the clearance makeup. She did not argue after that.

GRAND TOTAL – 17.40 out of pocket and 5.00 in ECB’s for next week.

Ten years couponing, but third week with CVS, oh what I have been missing!

      • Guest

I would definitely go back to finish up the P&G deal! Since you've already spent $20 you'd only need to spend $10 more and you'd get those back in ECB!

        • itismedia

Oh, I got the P&G deal (Bounty, Charmin, Pantene)! Would not have missed that! =+) It is the candy deal that I was talking about (Buy 10.00, get 3.00 in ECBs). Only my King Sized Snickers counted so I am still 8.00 away. =+)

          • Guest

Oops! I see now. I only looked at the TP!

    • Guest

Best trip yet! Here's what I did:
(I threw everything into one big transaction so that I could use my $10/$50 purchase)

      Bought:
      (5) Charmin basic
      (1) Bounty Paper Towels
      (2) Kashi Cereals
      (2) Nature's Made Vitamin c
      (2) Crest 3D vivid white toothpaste
      (2) Oral B Power Toothbrushes
      (1) Herbal Essences travel size shampoo

      Used:
      (1) $10/$50 purchase
      (3) $1/1 Charmin Couons
      (2) $.25/1 Charmin coupons
      (1) $1/1 Bounty coupon
      (2) $2/1 Kashi coupons
      (2) $3/1 Nature Made Vitamins
(1)$3/1 Nature Made Vitamins (store coupon)
      (2) $1/1 Crest Toothpaste
      (1) B1G1 Oral B power toothbrushes
      (1) $3/1 Oral B power brush (This beeped several times, but my great cashier saw nothing wrong with it so she pushed it on through!)
      (1) $1/1 Herbal Essence

      Total oop: 22.81 (Including tax)
      ECB received: 25.58 (I basically made 2.77!)

I strongly recommend visiting the “travel-size” section for any coupons that are going to run out. That's where I picked up the Herbal Essence for free.

      • Guest

Not to mention that fact that (not including ECB) I saved 82.84! Thank you CVS, thank you P&G, and thank you Jenny!

        • Coupons123

Help, if you use ECB to pay for something will you still earn ECB on items that are elligable

          • Susan

            Yes

          • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_PESCAE3HDVA44B26AIUTC73YD4 Corrina

in coupon lingo we call this 'rolling', where store money is used to pay for an item that in turn gives store money back. This is how we save lots of our own money or out of pocket. HTH!

    • itismedia

One of my receipts today said “Winters 2011 Spending”. What does this mean?
      Thanks!

      • Guest

It's how much you've spent this Winter. After the winter quarter is over, you'll get 2% back in ECB of whatever you've spent!

        • itismedia

          Thanks! Very cool! =+)

        • Frugal4eva

Really? That's awesome. When does the winter quarter end? I made $66 in just one trip today! Woo hoo!

          • Cucabura

I believe it ends March 16th

          • tina

the quarter should end march 31 and you will be able to get your extra ecb's on april 1.

          • http://savinsource.blogspot.com/ Suemh

Keep in mind that the 2% is based on out-of-pocket. I think that this means after manufacturers' coupons also. The most I have ever gotten is 1.50.

      • Burroughs85

As what I still consider a “newbie” I have a question on this topic as well. Where it says Winters 2011 Spending, is this the out of pocket amount? If so, I hadn't realized I'd spend so much! Therefore I assumed it was before ECB or something?

      • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_PESCAE3HDVA44B26AIUTC73YD4 Corrina

The 2% back is based on amounts in $25 increments of your quarterly spending, your oop amount. (I learned this the hard way when I was 50 cents short of reaching $50 one quarter.) Check your winter spending online under 'current balances' to see your amount and yes the quarter ends on march 16th.

    • Amanda

Is there a coupon policy from CVS that I can print and take in with me. The cashier would not take my BOGO Oral B and $3 off even when I explained that the $3 was for the one I was purchasing…makes me so mad! She said that I would have to buy 3 to use the coupons. Then other cashier comes up behind her, and in a not so nice way, says the same thing “It is not store policy”. I wish I had the coupon policy to show them but in searching I cannot find one anywhere. The BOGO coupon expires tomorrow.

      • Stinemetz C Coupon

I had the same problem. The manager of the store explained to me that it is not the coupon policy, however corporate's policy. Normally they would be able to take B1G1 with the 3 off coupon, but for this particular product their machines will not allow them to take both coupons. Both the manager and cashier tried-it rejected the coupons and said “coupon limit”. I was only purchases the two toothbrushes, so I know it wasn't that I was using too many coupons in one transaction.

      • Brandi

My cvs wouldn't let me use both coupons, but they have before on other items!!! :(

      • Dolly

Did you print the one Jenny has on here?

      • katieoakley

The coupon is coded with a “14”, which means it attaches to BOTH items…so it counts as a manufacturer's coupon for both items, you can't use any other coupons with it. Normally when something is “Buy A, get B free”, the coupon is coded just for product B so you can still use a coupon for product A, but this one is different. A coupon policy won't help.

      • Josie

I was able to use both. The cashier told me to give her the $3 off coupon FIRST & then the BOGO would go through. And it did, without any beeping. I am told you if hand over the BOGO first then the $3 coupon will not go through.

        • ElizabethL

I did the same thing; handed the cashier my $3 off Q, then gave her the BOGO Q, and it accepted them both. No beeping.

          • Mollie

same here…gave my $3 off then BOGO, and no beep from the computer….great deal!

      • nancycrom

Jenny put the coupon policy of each store right at the top of the page for each store's deals. Look at the top right of this page.

    • Sophie

I tried to use my Reach Access Flosser raincheck from Sept. '10 – regular price $3.19 wyb 1 you get $2.99ECB.
When I went to check out today they rang up on sale for .99 instead of $3.19 & I had a $1 off any Reach floss coupon.
Cashier wouldn't let me use my raincheck on it..got them free anyways with the coupon. Good thing those rainchecks never expire, I'll just have to wait for that Reach floss coupon to re-set again..
And I don't remember seeing any sale signs on the Reach floss either nor could I find it in the weekly ad

    • ILoveADeal

The add says spend $30 and get $10 back on P&G products shown…is that on the front page only or all P&G in the ad. Sorry – Im new at this and was planning my attack plan

      • Seb

Just the products on the front page.

    • Heather

V-day merchandise and select makeup was 90% off at my store! Got some really good deals on lipstick and eye makeup

    • courtnee

I forgot to use my $2 off coupon for clairol hair color. Can I return it and then buy it back, while using the coupon this time?

      • Ashley

this isnt cvs but if you go back to publix and show them your receipt, and say that you forgot the coupon, they'll give you the money but idk about cvs….theres nothing wrong with returning it and then buy it using your coupon.

        • Cluckie

My CVS in Columbia took my coupon when I showed them my receipt the next day and gave me cash.

      • Anonymous

Depends on the CVS and how well the cashiers know you. :)

    • Coupons123

Can you use ECB to pay for items while earning ECB

      • Rachel797

As long as the total before tax is more than your ECB. Otherwise you will lose the difference. Using ECBs to pay for items with ECBs is the best way to do it!

    • Jen

It seems that the Dove spend $15 get $5 ECB is allowing you to do this more than once (not the typical limit 1). I did the deal and it still showed that I needed to spend $15 to earn the reward….I went back and spent another $15 and got the ECB's!!! Always remember to check your receipts to see if you have reached the offer limit or not!

    • Jen

My CVS had CVS brand newborn diapers marked down to $6.96…when I went to the register, the scanned $2.00 per pack!!! I bought the last few that they had in preparation for my little bundle of joy! They were not at the front of the store, but rather in the regular diaper aisle…so check your stores!!!

    • Kristen

In the last 2 days, I have received (2)- $2 off Hershey's or Reese's Pieces, Drops and Mini's 8 oz coupons from the coupon machine :-) I have a manufacturer coupon that states the same (I'm not sure when and where it is from). Hershey's Pieces are on sale 2/$5. How will this work? Will the cashier adjust one of the coupons?

      • Kristen

The manufacturer coupon is $2 off of 2 bags.

      • Crafty_cat_86

the cvs coupons state”off total purchase” you'd be able to use the extra money in the same transaction.

    • Ashleyw81

Just a head's up on a good deal that I scored today while doing my CVS shopping, the red coupon machine gave me a coupon for $1 any CVS hair product (excluding trial size). I figured that it wouldn't be a good enough deal but I still checked the hair care aisle just to see how much the CVS hair products were. To my surprise I found huge bottles of the CVS version of Pantene on sale for $1.49 (marked down from $5.99). I was so excited to score shampoo for 49 cents! They had a lot of these in stock in different varieties, so hopefully others can get in on this deal too if interested.

      • ElizabethL

Thanks for the tip! I got two bottles of the CVS brand, plus I saw they had the big bottles of Herbal Essences Drama Clean shampoo on clearance for 1.79, so with the HE Q from the P&G $110 booklet, I got it for $.79!

    • J A Couponista

Hey y'all – the hyperlinks for the P&G 'home mailer' fields are turning out to be blanks…anybody know what I could be doing wrong? THanks!

      • patagonia

        Having the same problem

    • Jen

I used the Oral B power toothbrush BOGO coupon at a CVS in Cleveland Tn today and used two of the $3 off coupons with it! I payed only $1.17 in tax and received $6 in ECB. The casheir used the $3 off first then the BOGO. Love it!!!

      • guest

You aren't supposed to use that many coupons. You can only use one manufacturers coupon per item. So you could of used the bogo and 1 $3 off coupon, but not 2. =)

        • Jen

Oh well I am just learning. I did it and my friend did the same. The cashier read over the coupons and used them all the same both times.

          • Courtney s

it is still wrong to do, sometimes the computers let things go through they shouldn't. I know your just learning but please be careful of this in the future this is part of the reason why they are getting stricter about coupons at places. My cashier today was talking about how they were writing ppl up because they did not look at coupons close enough or were pushing them through. I personally don't think its worth someone losing their job over so I can save a few bucks.

        • Joannashipp

my CVS wouldn't let me use the BOGO and $3 off coupon. I tried to argue but they wouldn't let me. Still a good deal.

          • Brandi

i had the same problem, she said it exceeded the limit, not sure what that meant but it was a good deal, you're right!

          • Gingiraffe

Because if you read the BOGO coupon it states one coupon per items stated/listed in the coupon, meaning that P&G won't allow you to stack them with another $ off coupon. It may go through the system, but I think it's coupon fraud because you aren't regarding the wording on the coupons if you use two different types. All of the P&G recent coupons with buy_get_ are worded like this. I posted above to Jenny asking about this issue because she keeps listing them together in her scenarios. If the $3 off coupon were a store coupon, you'd be fine.

          • Rachel797

I couldn't use the bog and some $2.50 off coupons together. But I was able to use a buy an olay body wash get a free olay moisturizer and a buy an olay body wash get a free secret coupon with one body wash. Don't quite understand that!

    • Ashleyw81

Question…I apparently have lost a receipt that had some ECBs on it, is there a way I can recover those ECBs? It wasn't many, but I'd still like to have them. I'm sure this has been answered before but I've never paid attention before b/c this is the first time I've lost ECBs. Thanks in advance for your help!

      • Crafty_cat_86

if they were the quarterly, yes. you can call cvs and theyll load them again. if they were from buying something, then no. hth!

      • Mamaberry

If you login to your account on CVS website, they have record on your ECB's – which ones printed recently and when they are good till. You should be able to use this information to contact customer service. They are specific to your card so it's not like anyone else can use them. And if they haven't been scanned, it's my understanding they can regenerate them for you.

        hth!

    • BdaJda06

Is anyone having problems getting the Dove website to load…all I get is a blank blue screen!! I have tried it for the past few days and still nothing. Just wondering if this has happened to anyone else!! Thanks

    • Scarolinarn04

The pro clinical “Clean Mint” (only-silver box) is ringing up on clearance at 1.24. There is a dollar off coupon, i think it was in the SS 2/6 add. Rings up at .24 cents.

    • Marissa

There's a great BOGO coupon out there for the Swiffer Wetpads so combined with the sale price- this is a great deal!

      • Ugaleighj

I found that coupon too! I only bought 2; I think I'm going to head back this week and buy 4 more. Sometimes a great price on these is hard to come by!

        • Tia

Whic paper is that coupon in? Can u pls let me knw! Thanx,

          • Marissa

Not sure the paper but it is a manufacturer Q and says P&G brandSAVER on it. I ordered 4 more of these Q’s from The Coupon Master and am going to pick up 8 more boxes today + a 20% off coupon came to my email so I’m excited to hit CVS up later.

    • TSmith

need some help. want to buy the general mills cereal but new to this.

I have 2 manf. Qs that say Save $1 on Two when you buy any two boxes of cheerios. So with the current deal at CVS 2/$6 with earning 2ECB, its like getting it 2 for $4.

i don't think I can use both of my coupons because it says 'one coupon per purchase of specified products.

      Help, I'm a newbie

      • Guest

You're allowed one manufacturers coupon for per item. But since it says “$1/2” it applies to both (2) items. So you'd only be able to use one coupon. HTH!

    • Susanfhill

I went tonight and spent $20 ON THE P &G products on the front page, I just realized that I was $10away from spending $30 and getting the $10 ECBs. Can I spend $10 more tomorrow and get it or does it have to be in one transaction. Will it figure it out when I purchase the other $10? What I bought was the Oral B rinse, floss and 2 brushes. Does it have to be the stuff to the left, the Charmin and Tide? THis add is confusing to me, ugh!

      • http://savinsource.blogspot.com/ Suemh

I don't think that the items you bought are included in the $10 ECB deal. It is just the things listed here. But to answer your question: Yes, you can spread an ECB deal over multiple transactions. Look at the bottom of your receipt. where it says “This Weeks Extra Bucks Offers”. The deals that you have got will be listed and it will tell you if you need to purchase more for a certain deal.

      • Amanda

You can go back this week and spend the additional $10 to make the requirement for the $30 and your ECB should print. Also, it should keep track of your offers at the bottom of your receipt. Like how much $ left you need to spend to get a particular ECB, what items you have bought towards an offer or if you have met the limit for the offer. I hope that helps. CVS deals are the easiest to work with in my opinion. You will get it soon!

    • Kkmack67

My best CVS week in 2 years!! P & G products( 6 tide, 6 stain release), 4 candy, 4 toothpaste, 4 toothbrushes, 1 hair color, 2 Jif Peanut butter, and 2 razors $189.00 total cost, $24.00 OOP with $22.00 in ECB's for next week. I used 2 different CVS cards also.

      • Mamaberry

NICE! Now, that's some couponing for you :)

      • Lexi0200

did you buy the advertised tide bottles or the larger ones? I thought the stain release was for tide 75oz or larger???

        • Ebonyannette

yeah the coupon sizes didnt match up for the stain release for me but sounds like a great trip

    • Zinniasgive

Anyone else sign up for the coupon for the free can of Chef Boyardee ravioli a few weeks back? Got mine in the mail last week, but it has a walmart logo on the postcard (not the actual coupon). Just wondering if I could use it with the B1G1 sale this week at CVS??

      • Musiclady0110

If the bar code begins with a 5 it is a manufacture coupon (instead of a store coupon) and can be used anywhere that accepts coupons.

      • Mamaberry

If it's a mfg q, it's not store specific. It should have redeem instructions for any retailer printed on the q itself. It will scan just fine!! Clip it off of the postcard take it in!

The logos are a great way of advertising that stores put into their marketing. People have the mindset “I'm going to Wal-Mart to buy my Ravioli today”. Don't waste your money at wally-world. :) hth!

      • Tammie

Yes, I used my coupon yesterday for my free can and also got the free can from the store deal. I asked before she rang it up and said yes, I could use it. Great for donating!

    • Kati

so I took my first CVS shopping trip today and I only did “okay”
$35.64 in stuff and paid $17.26

I accidentally messed up and got a Maybelline eyeshadow that wasn't part of the $3 ECB deal. Would I be able to return that eyeshadow and spend the remaining $4 I need to get the $3 ECB???

      • Ashleyw81

You should be able to do that…your receipt should have kept track that you spent some money towards the Maybelline deal and then print the ECB once you've made up the difference.

$35.64 for $17.26 is nothing to sneeze at…did you get any ECBs?

    • Tracy

2 weeks ago when the Dove 10 oz. was on sale for $2… our store only had the 18 oz kind. The cashier said he would give it to me for 2.50. I got two bottles had 2 $1 off coupons. Got 36 oz of Dove body wash for $3. And I got 1 ECB back for some reason. It was amazing. One 18 oz bottle at Walmart cost $5+ Again… AMAZING.

    • Andyandliztinker

I am a newbie to all this. Today is my 2nd time coupon shopping at CVS. I purchased:
x2 cans of Pringles (on sale for 2/$3.00 and I used a $1.00/2 coupon from P&G coupon booklet I recieved off of http://www.facebook.com)
x2 bottles of Dawn (on sale for.94 each and I used x2 .50 coupons from P&G booklet)
x1 Always pads (on sale $2.99 and I used a $1.00 off coupon from P&G booklet)
x1 Charmin Basic tolit paper (on sale$4.99 and I used a $1.00 off coupon from P&G booklet)
x2 Crest Pro-Health toothpaste (on sale for $3.29 and I used x2 .75 off coupons from a Sundays newspaper plus I got back $6.58 in ExtraBucks Reward)
x1 Oral-B crossaction toothbrush (on sale for $6.00 and I used a $3.00 off coupon from yesterdays newspaper plus I got back $3.00 in ExtraBucks Reward)
x1 Febreze set & refresh (on sale for $2.99 and I used a $1.00 off manufacturer coupon..sorry I do not remember the details of this coupon)
x1 Physicians Formula ($12.19 recieved $7.00 in ExtraBucks Reward…however there was a rebate sticker on this product says max. refund back will be $10.95..all I need to do is mail it off with form and reciept (as well as the sticker that was on the product)
x1 Nivea My Silhouette (was on clearance with $4.32 written on the box and I also had a $2.00 off coupon…from ???

I also used my RewardBucks from last week which totaled to $23.58 so that was taken of the total price also. I spent $12.57 out of pocket but got back $16.58 in RewardBucks and am also waiting on a $10.95 rebate check to come in the mail. So I actually made money this trip!!!!!

    • Jthornton

My best CVS trip yet! 1 charmin, 2 bounty, 2 toothpaste, 1 tide, 2 tooth brushes (princess ones for my daughter!), 1 dawn, 3 puffs, 1 pantene. Used 4 ecb and 10off/50purchase coupon – total oop was $20 – got $22 ecb for next trip!!

    • Robin Pack

I'm still learning how to do all this CVS stuff but I've had a couple great trips. I spent $9.43 out of pocket, got 3 Olay body washes, 4 Dove body washes, 1 Secret deodorant, 4 oz Revitalens contact solution, 1 Crest Pro-Health Rinse (had a raincheck from an earlier week plus $1 off coupon), 1 Olay face cleanser, 1 Olay face moisturizer, 1 Fusion pro-glide power razor, and 2 Crest Pro-Health Toothpaste. I still have $12 ECB to use another time! Didn't get everything for FREE but paid less than $1 for each of the things I got! Not too bad!

    • Logan1976

Can I use a coupon for Bounty and/or Charmin that was in the paper but says “Target coupon” at CVS?

      • amandae21

My CVS doesn't accept coupons from other retailers. I think it's the company policy.

    • Jessica

you know, I love CVS but most of the time unless I go first thing Sunday morning they will be out of at least one thing on my list and then it screws up my whole scenario!

      • Sue

yup – gotta have a few backup plans

    • Ctrinkle

Question – I messed up on the Nexxus deal and while I thought I was buying two $10 items on of them actually rang up at $16. Didn't realize it until I got home. How does CVS handle returns if ECB's are attached? If I return the $16 item and exchange it for a $10 item so my total of Nexxus would still be over $20 – does the ECB stay in tact?

      • amandae21

I would think so. If that doesn't work, you should be able to return both products, making your Nexxus total $0 for the period, and then turn around and buy the products/prices you want, getting the ECB at checkout.

In my experience, they're really good about working with customers on things like that.

    • Gingiraffe

      Jenny,
I'm just curious about using a P&G B1G1 and another P&G $ off coupon together. All of the recent B1G1 coupons from P&G say limit one coupon per items stated (meaning you can't stack them) but you still have shown the toothbrushes with a $3 profit. I don't think those two coupons can be used together according to the new wording on the coupons. Am I wrong?

      • itismedia

It worked fine for me. The way it reads is like you said, “one coupon per item stated”. The coupon is for a free toothbrush so you can not stack another coupon with it. It is not a coupon for the other toothbrush so putting the 3.00 coupon towards it is fine. You just cannot do say 2 BOGO for 2 toothbrushes or a BOGO and 2 – 3.00 off coupons for 2 toothbrushes. Make sense??? HTH

        • Gingiraffe

Actually, it is a coupon for both items. It reads “Limit one coupon per purchase of products (it is plural) and quantities (also plural) stated.” Since the coupon states both products, that is limit one coupon for both products. I know that it used to be ok to do this, but P&G started putting this wording on their coupons back in the fall and I just think it is wrong to use both. Jsut because the machine will take it doesn't mean that is it right. Some coupon manufacturers do B1G1 and do not state this, which in that case the coupon would be for the free item and you could pair with another coupon. I think P&G has figured out our “strategy” and they are cracking down on it some.

          • itismedia

I am usually the one telling everyone to be ethical.=+) I looked at my P&G coupon and they are ALL plural, even the ones that are off one item. I think it is okay. I wont argue, because I know there are things (a lot of things) that others do that I do not agree with. If it said purchase two toothbrushes and get half off, or must purchase XX to get XX off, or something like that I would agree with you, but it doesn't. I can agree to disagree! =+) Happy shopping. =+)

      • Kmanganaro

I tried to use the BOGO coupon and the $3 off coupon and they wouldnt let me. I didnt push it she wasnt that happy. I just figured BOGO was better then Nothing. :( I was bummbed

        • Ebonyannette

Yeah I couldnt do the B1G1 and the $3/1 q at the same time either

    • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=530203897 Tanya Burns

I went in without a plan, but I knew I wanted the mouthwash and toothpaste and to use some coupons that expire today. Somehow I managed to come away with 3 colgate max white toothbrushes, 1 crest prohealth mouthwash, 1 crest max white toothpaste, 1 charmin basic 12 roll, 1 large bottle herbal essences shampoo, 3 secret deoderants, 1 trial size eucerin cream, and one gain dish soap. I spent about $10 oop. The Secret deoderant had certain ones on 50% clearance and the colgate toothbrushes were marked down 75% to .97. I'm sure I'm not done for the week, but that was a great trip!

    • Laura

I had the best CVS/Rite Aid trip EVER!!! For both stores I spent a total out of pocket of $7.39. I got $6 back in cash(because the cashier forgot to scan one of my BOGO Oral-B coupons) and I still have $5 ECB and $4 UP! So really I got paid $7.61 to buy everything!!!!! I love the drugstores!!!

    • Prsol

A sunny afternoon for me at CVS! Got 18 bars of Dove soap FREE!
Final price before taxes was $5.00 (Combined $10ECB from P&G offer +(3) $1 off coupons) and got 5ECB back! I'm new to CVS and can't get enough of the challenge of playing with offers and rolling ECBs! How did I ever survive without coupons and pharmacies all my life????? :D

      • Organical1

        how

        • Prsol

          3 Dove (6pk) = $18.00
          – $10ECB (P&G Buy $30 get $10ECB back)
          – (3) $1.00 off Dove coupon (found in Jenny's database – limit 2 coupons per computer)
Final price = $5.00 + tax AND got $5ECB back (Buy $15 get $5ECB offer)

Hope this clarifies the transaction. :-)

          • Eae1959

I for one dont believe you need to claify anything, some people seem to go a bit overboard on the attack bandwagon…..wow.I got the impression you were excited about a good deal and wanted to share that info. Sorta makes you think twice about something that should be so simple.
Keep posting your savings, thats what this site is all about..

            • Prsol

              Couldn’t have said it better… :-)

And just to continue on spreading the good news about my savings, I wanted to add a Happy Ending on those 5ECBs that I got from my FREE Dove:

Had Rain checks for Purex deal last week:

              (3) Purex liquid detergent (1.99 ea with rain check)
              (3) Purex 3-in-1 (3.99 ea with rain check)

              Used:
              (3) $1.00 on Purex liquid
              (3) $3.00 on Purex 3-in-1
              5 ECBs

The original price would have been almost $50 for these 6 items… I only paid 94 cents + taxes out of pocket!!!!

[… AND, left plenty of laundry detergent on the shelf for those people who visit CVS on a Saturday evening and can’t ask for a rain check to take advantage of a good deal … ;-)

Thanks to all of you who post your saving so that we, newbies, can also make the best out of our hard earned money! :-)

          • Ebonyannette

hmm. i dont get it. If your spending $18 how can you get to the $30 P&G limit for the 10 ecbs?

            • Prsol

Oh! What I meant is that I used the 10 ECB (from a previous transaction) to get my deal on the Dove soap.

The $18 were applied on the Dove offer “Buy $15, get 5ECB back”

I paid $5.00 for the soaps but got 5ECB back, therefore, my Dove was for free. (and I used the 5ECB on a very good deal on laundry detergent… See my reply to Eae1959 below… :-)

      • Aaasn4

Who really needs 18 bars of dove soap ? This whole couponing thing turns into greed and hording for a lot of folks. Just because it is free doesn't mean you need it. This is like a cult of rabid women waiting with bated breath for the doors to open on Sunday so they can wipe out another stock pile of toothpaste or toilet tissue – get a life already. I saw one women the other day with a buggy full of Dulcolax and a handful of coupons. Is anybody really that constipated? Maybe folks should try to donate these freebie products to those less fortunate – or maybe only reedeem one deal at a time – so there is product left over for other people who say – maybe get to the store after saturday at 6:05pm.

        • Shaymon

Jenny does recommend that people get the deals & donate what they don't need. I have seen several comments of people who do – like this comment from today:

“The highlight of my day actually wasn't saving SO MUCH at CVs! On the way home, I stopped for gas and saw a man rooting around in the trashcan. I asked if he could use some food and he said yes. I gave him the granola bars I had just gotten (for free!) and he said, “God bless you!” It made me feel awesome to be able to give some of the blessing God had given me!

        • Morgan

Your response is a bit harsh. “Maybe folks should try to donate these freebie products to those less fortunate – ” How do you know he or she isn't donating the soap???

        • Meghan

Sheesh. Definitely harsh. 18 bars of soap doesn't even last long around my house. I guess next, you'll be saying that we take too many showers!!

        • Carolinepetal

Showering twice daily, a bar of dove soap last me (one person) less than a week. I want to say at most 5 days. I will check the time now. Every one has different needs. One couponer told me she buys for all children who themselves have families. Let the managers take care of the limits they want to set. The managers in my area are quite happy to work with me on the items I need. Manufacturing understand the market. The market is comprised of hoarders, hustlers, depressed people, shopaholics etc. I fall under depressed. Give come under advertistisment expenses. If we do not buy, companies will have to more tax on their profits. If they pay more tax, they will find a way of letting us share their tax in the prices we pay. I imagine some board meetings of companies being more concerned that all their free items were not bought during a particular time frame. Talk to the managers in your area to increase their orders.

        • gardengirl

We are always complaining about people clearing out the shelves before we can get a deal. I was reading the comments to this post and pictured an entire section of shelf empty from Prsol getting 18 individual bars of soap and finally realized that she bought 3 6packs of the bars to do the $5ECB WYB $15 of dove, etc deal (I don't use dove and didn't pay attention to it in the list above but I did the same deal w/ 3 vaseline lotions which probably took up about the same amount of shelf space LOL). I don't believe Aaasn4 realized it was 3 6packs and it was needed for the ECB deal. Prsol, good job. Aaasn4, good point.
Remember, Jenny gives us this list early. If you need/want alot of an item (buggy full of Dulcolax etc), let the manager know and they can add the quanity you want to their order. Then when you go to the store, ask them to get your order from the back. I do this sometimes w/ personal hygiene items for my local homeless shelter and it is so much easier because they give it to me in the shipping box making it easy to carry and my shelter likes it because it is easier to store. The store likes it also, they make money and don't have to spend the time stocking it on the shelf.

        • peekaboo

Aasn4 before you criticize some of these rabid women, your thoughts might be better directed at what they do with these items. People like you have gotten in line behind me and I hear the comments made under their breath, but I resist the urge to turn around and justify my actions – like many of these ladies, I donate a big bag of groceries each week to my church. If I can save money, provide a blessing to others in the form of much needed items, I will continue to do so.

    • Emornout

I had a great trip! Saved $90 and only paid 19 oop!! yay CVS

    • Mommy2brynley

I just left CVS and bought 2 crest toothpaste and got my 2 ecb's, but i did anohter transaction to buy 1 mouthwash and it didnt print the ecb.. the cashier was unhelpful with explaining why it didnt print. my recipt shows i reached my limit. I thought by buying different products it would have worked… does this sound right?

      • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=530203897 Tanya Burns

my understanding was that you could get either product, but only a total of 2.

        • Mommy2brynley

ok, i was thinking it was 2 per product.. thanks

    • Mccorryk

just went to cvs and they had body wash on clearance for .30cents and bars of soap for .15cents!!!!! also great deals for the coupon buy a deodorant get a body wash free. lots of clearance deodorant on sale!!!

    • Crafty_cat_86

Best week of CVS ever!! Started with 8 ECBs and ended with 4. Spent $0.24 oop for $146.41 worth of stuff!! Depending on how you count it, that's 97-99.9% savings!! I did the P and G deal, the toothbrush deal, the Kashi deal, the floss deal, the excedrin deal (still had a couple high value coupons from a while ago), the reese's peices deal, the thermacare and added some pantiliners in(need them :D)!!! I can let all my P and G q's expire now w/o feeling one bit of loss!!!

      • Crafty_cat_86

They did make a $4 mistake in my favor that I didn't cath until I got home.

    • Mike

      paid: .47

      Transaction 3:

    • Ally

My $10 Excedrin ECB's did not print–make sure yours do if you do this deal.

      • kris

I had this issue on a deal a few weeks ago. Call corporate about 48-72 hours (they can't see it until then) after the purchase and they can look it up in the system and put the ECB on your card so you can print them from the kiosk next time you go in. They were super nice and helpful when I called.

      • Shadowbandit2010

Mine did not print either. I was told it was bacause of the 2 coupons for free. Bought 4 boxes and the bottom of the receipt says that I still need to buy $10 more. When asked for refund I was told she could only give me the $2.04 that I had spent and would loose the coupons and ecbs that were used.

        • Phatpatswife

Next time just ask for a refund without the receipt. That way they'll put the entire amount on a gift card. You would be out the $2.04 back in your pocket but at least you would get the remainder of your coupons and extrabucks back in a way that you could use them again at cvs.

The highlight of my day actually wasn't saving SO MUCH at CVs! On the way home, I stopped for gas and saw a man rooting around in the trashcan. • MelD

How wonderful that you were able to make such a difference. Thank you for an inspiring start to my day!

      • Kennemere

I was able to do the same thing recently. A church member's house burned and I was able to fill a tote bag with health & beauty aids for her. Most were free or quite cheap, but was able to give her full-sized shampoo, deodorant, soap, lotion, toothpaste, sanitary products, etc…not trial size :)

      • Knowka

We recently had a family of three move here from out of state. A mother, daughter and niece. I was able to bag up about 9 bags of stuff to get them started. Food, cleaning supplies, detergent, toothpaste, body wash, dishwasher detergent and food, all for practically nothing.

    • MustangLadyred

The Swiffer P&G home mailer printable didn't work for me…..it said my coupon would arrive in 4-6 weeks…no option of printing it now!!

    • christie

? Anyone know if you can use the free excedrin coupons that were mailed w/ the excedrin deal to make an even sweeter deal than it already is?

      • Seb

You can use them…I used mine on Sunday.

        • christie

          thanks :)

Wanted to let everyone know- some of the Zone bars are on clearance for .37 each. The other flavor was 1.49 on sale b2g1. There’s 2 .55 q’s from inserts. Go to their website and there’s 3 other q’s: 1.50/3, 2.00/3, and a b1g1. There were only 5 clearance bars left in my store, so I also got 4 of the others. 9 Zone bars for .23 all together with the q’s! If you have enough clearance bars, you can get even more for free because CVS gives overages on their q’s.

    • Katie

My store was out of the Oral B toothbrushes but had the brush heads on clearance for $2.49! I got $6 ECB for buying 2 packs! Now I can use that to buy my toothbrush (when I find one in stock!)

      • Ape2658

You should go back and ask for a rain check for the toothbrushes. Depending on the store, you can get this deal even after the sale.

    • Abc79teach

Does the extra care bucks print on the receipt??? I went to CVS and spent over $30 in P and G products and a reciept did not print for $10 extra care bucks?

      • Guest

Make sure you bought enough of the products that were included (The ones on the front page). Then look towards the bottom of your receipt. It should track how much you've spent per deal. If you've spent enough on the P&G deal then I would go in some time and ask them about it.

        • Abc79teach

I had 40.01 before coupons and 20.37 after coupons. I also used 9.00 in extra care bucks so my total at the end was around 13 with taxes but the 10 in extra care bucks did not print. my total before coupon was 40.01 so shouldnt it print

          • Kennemere

All the CVS's in my town say you have to reach the total AFTER coupons, which stinks because I can never capitalize on the deals like so many others do. That's probably what happened to you. ECB's do not count, but the $30 limit has to be reached after manufacturer coupons and before tax. Look at your receipt – it should tell you how much you've spent on the “deal” and how much more you have to spend to reach it.

            • Phatpatswife

I'd be willing to say that you're stores are wrong and if you were to do the deal anyways with your coupons bringing you under $30, the registers going to print your extrabucks. The stores don't control what the corporate office sets up in the system. I would like to know if you try it and whether or not you get the ecb's.

I'm only suggesting this because i'm an employee and know that the total amount of products purchased has to reach $30 with the register….how much you pay out of pocket after coupons and previous extrabucks doesn't matter. Please try it once and see if it works, don't take their word for it because i'm willing to bet they are wrong.

          • Abc79teach

Ok I went back into the store because after looking at my reciept it said I needed 88 cents to meet the 30 dollar goal. I talked to the manager and she told me to buy a dawn and it would print a 10ecb. Well it didnt, so she went in and printed me one manually because she said I had met the goal of $30 in products. She said that coupons doesnt matter they go by the cost of the product BUT make sure that it was a product that was marked on the sale. I thought it was ANY P&G product and that wasnt the case.

      • guest

oh and it also needs to be $30 before tax. it goes by your subtotal

    • Laura

Last week and this week, the magic coupon machine printed out coupons for $2 off a bag of Hershey's or Pieces candies. They are on sale this week for 2/$5. I had 2 of the $2 Q, 1 from each week. I bought 2 bags, used the 2 CVS Qs and the $2/2 Manu. Q. For a total of $1 money maker. These will be great for Easter.

      • Kenzbug

I did the same thing with those. (Couldn't wait until Easter though, I've already dug into them)

      • FreedomSpradley1

I was thrilled with this deal as well! No way that candy will last around my house till Easter.

    • Sarge384

CVS in Hermitage, Tn would not accept the BIGI Crest CrossPower Tooth brush. The manager said they tried multiple times the day before and could not get the computer to accept the coupons on the deal. Plus the BIGI would not allow the $3 ECB. Bummer

      • AmandaKaye918

I hate when stores do their own thing. My CVS in Spring Hill, TN took both coupons and didn't have a problem with it.

        • Kenzbug

My CVS store also took both.

          • Leigh

My store also took both . I live in GA. But, my mom's store (FL) wouldn't take both for her.

    • Crain_99

Has anyone done the PG promo at K-Mart this week. Buy $35 in product get $10 coupon. I used coupons and did'nt get the $10 coupon.

    • Lora

If they're ever out of a product you wanted on a good sale, be sure to ask for a rain check. I had forgotten rain checks even existed until a CVS cashier once asked me if I wanted one for a B1G1 cosmetics deal last year. It doesn't hurt to ask!

      • Amy T

I was actually glad when I went back to get more Purex at the end of last week and they were out. I got a rain check and now I can go back and get it when we need it.

    • Lj

So surprised when I went to CVS with my raincheck for the purex sale last week. They told me they would get more in on Monday so I went in first thing this morning. They had the sheets but not the liquid. I wanted to get both because I had a 4/20 q and I had enough coupons to get 4 of the sheets and 2 bottles of the liquid. My total before tax would have been 2.00. When I asked the cashier if they got the purex in, she said no they didn't and she didn't know when they would. Well, I went looking around anyway and she came to me a little later and said that she's pretty sure the manager said she can substitute the arm and hammer and still take my purex qs. I was pretty excited, because I would rather have the arm and hammer than the purex. Yay for CVS :)

    • Kbirberick

Does anyone know if CVS stores usually accept competitor coupons? Like Target? Thanks!

      • Ebonyannette

Mine doesnt you can always call yours and double check

      • Rachael

Mine does, but I hear that is a pretty rare thing! You can always check though!

    • Kenzbug

Okay, I've got another CVS question. I'm still learning from trial and error. I went in the store Sunday and bought 2 Crest and got back ECB's. So I went in today and got 2 more but I didn't get any ECB's back. It said on my receipt limit reached. I'm pretty sure the actual ad says 2 per shopping trip. I guess my question is, if the limit says 2, is that all I can get in order to get ECB's back. I usually don't do large stock piles but I wanted to pick up some extra for my 23 year old step-son who occasionally does some free shopping at my house.

      • Kennemere

The limit for the Crest is 2 – that means for the entire week of the sale. Your receipt is good about keeping track, so limit reached means for the whole week.

    • Jo

THe CVS store in my town has Colgate Pro Clinical Toothpaste on clearance for $1.24 each (specific flavors). There are various colgate coupons floating around also. SS 2/13 had a 50 cents off and the database says the ss 2/27 had a coupon

    • JenJen44

Does the $10 ECB wyb $30 mean before or after coupons? If my total goes under $30 after coupons do I still get the ECBs?

      • Amy T

Before coupons. As long as your total is $30 in the appropriate products before coupons, you will get the $10 ECB. :)

    • Mcleodsc

I don't know if anyone has posted this yet. The red machine is giving $1 off CVS hair products. My store had large bottles of CVS shampoo clearanced to 1.24-the coupon scanned without a beep. 24 cents for a big bottle of shampoo.

    • Ebonyannette

Did you guys get the 20% off coupon for following on twitter? I was thinking of doing this

      Tide $5.94 x 5 = 29.70
      Dawn .94 x 1 = .94
      use 5 $1/1 tide q =-$5

      use 1 $.50/1 dawn q = -$.50
      use 20% off q = -$4 (about $4?)
      = $21.14 OOP and get $10 ECB's back
making it $11 for 5 tide or around $2 each (oh and 1 dawn)

      I hope it works!

      • Lj

Just a heads up, most of the % off CVS coupons (ie, 20% off) are for non-sale items only. Which usually doesn't leave many options. I've about given up on the % coupons because of this. You are usually able to get the item cheaper if it's on sale. The only way I would use one is for something I need that week. I didn't follow on Twitter, so I don't know what this particular coupon says.

        • Ebonyannette

Thank you so much im so glad I didnt go in all prepared and the coupon not work ir something!

      • anonymous

20% off is not for sale items I think

    • Nicoleterry

Today I went to CVS. The main thing I wanted to get was the Dove Deal. Spend $15 get $5 EB. My husband LOVES the Dove Mens Care Body Wash and the deodorant. Well this week the deodorant was on sale 2 / $7. the body wash is advertised as being $4.99 but they actually rang up as $3 a piece. How awesome is that!!

    • C.B.

I have a couple of excedrin coupons that expires on 03-31-2011,does anybody needs them, just send a self -address envelope to me ;2 of the are for 2.50 and one for 3.50

      • AmyJo80

I would like them, I'm a little addicted to Excedrin

    • Joy

Has anyone received the $5 beauty Club rewards coupon by email yet?

      • Kan2002

i got mine from the kiosk

      • carrie

I received one a couple of weeks ago, but it came to me via the red coupon box in the store. It was a very nice surprise to get one so soon after signing up. With all their good deals, you meet the $50 mark very quickly.

      • FreedomSpradley1

Mine printed as ECB from kiosk in store.

      • Danyeln

I've already gotten 2 of them and have almost $40 towards my third. Got them all the Kiosk, however I did NOT get any coupons when they printed so I was bummed.

    • Wrafb_martins

my cvs-warner robins , ga had 2 liter coke products on sale for 88 cents . the dr pepper, diet dr pepper and canada dry had 55 cents coupons on the bottles. final cost 33 cents each for a 2 liter . limit 5

    • Coupongqueen

I went to CVS yest. to get one item (rush trip) & stopped at the 'magic red box', got 2 $1 off coupons…one for candy & one for hair products…not what I needed. Ran to get my box of lactain pills & clerk noticed I had the 2 coupons in hand. She asked for them & they actually took off $2 of my purchase price…is this right?
She was so kind & I was thrilled….but wonder if this is the norm?

      • Mcleodsc

        Not the norm.

      • Phatpatswife

This is not the norm. What that cashier did was wrong and she could very well get fired for that. We CVS employees know some ins and outs of how our magic box and cvs receipt coupons work but only so that we don't have customers attempting to use them inappropriately. You, of course, had no control of that, but she shouldn't have done it and if I were you I wouldn't allow it in the future for the mere fact of knowing you didn't buy hair accessories or candy.

    • newtocoupons

I think I am finally getting the hang of CVS.Yesterday I got 4 battery powered toothbrushes, 2 tooth paste, a 6 pack of Dove soap, 3 body washes (1,Dove, 1Olay, 1 softsoap), a Secret gel deodorant, a bottle of conditioner, 2 tide liquids, 8-rolls of paper towels, and a box of turtles candy that was on clearance. I paid $28.10. I started with$26ECB and have $16.58ECB left. The toothbrushes alone were worth more than that!

    • LylithC

Yesterday I went to CVS to pick up a few things. I usually buy everything in one transaction, but decided I would split them up. Unfortunately I did the transactions backwards. With coupons & $2 ECB from last week I paid $11.81 for two OralB battery toothbrushes, 1 tube of Crest toothpaste & a Physicians Formula mineral compact. Two of coupons were expired (the B1G1 toothbrush & the Physicians Formula) but the cashier forced them through (they were only one day expired). When it was said & done I got $16.29 ECB. Because I did the transactions backwards I couldn't use the ECB from the previous transactions. But the cashier was pretty proud of me. I have to say this is the first time I have “made” money at CVS. Can't wait for next week!!

    • http://www.littleblogfish.blogspot.com Robin

Yeah. I scored Enfamil baby formula, Crest toothpaste, Crest Mouthwash, and Dawn for less than $13.00 at CVS. That’s something considering the baby formula usually runs about $27.00!

    • Jenna

I used a raincheck this week for $3.99 ECB WYB Crest ProHealth Mouthwash, $3.99. On my receipt, a $3.99 ECB printed, plus an additional $1 ECB. Is it normal to get extra ECB when you use a raincheck, or would that have come from the 89-cent Butterfinger candy bar I also purchased in that transaction?

      • artlady

That also happened to me when I redeemed the same raincheck. At the bottom of my receipt, though, it has what I'm assuming was a monthly deal that says something like: “Crest, Buy 1 get 1 Extra Buck, limit reached.” I bet that's what yours was for as well. Check the bottom of your receipt and see if it shows up.

        • Jenna

Ah, I do remember seeing that now. Thanks!

      • tori729

It's just because you bought it during a different sale. Sometimes you can “double dip” if you play your cards right and get extra ecbs. Not sure if that's alright or not though…

    • Makclair

Anybody know the price on the arm and hammer?

      • ann in va

8.49 at my CVS in virginia

    • http://www.littleblogfish.blogspot.com Robin

These are the coupons that printed out for me in the store:
      $4 off a $20 order
$1 off any CVS Brand Hair Care Product
$1 off 2 Gold Emblem Nuts
$3 off Essence of Beauty Bath and Body

      • http://www.littleblogfish.blogspot.com Robin

I don't know if the other post went through, but I was able to use the $4 off $20 towards Enfamil Infant formula, Crest toothpaste, Crest mouth wash, and Dawn with less than $13 out of pocket.

    • Kelly

Question on rainchecks: If CVS is out of something that is on sale for ECB's, like Crest toothpaste this week, do they write you a raincheck for the sale price AND to get the ECB's when it's back in stock?

      • KC

Yes they write the sale price and on bottom they write how many extra bucks you're supposed to receive back

        • Kelly

          Thanks so much!

      • Nicole Owens

Yes you do. And it doesnt expire!

    • CB

Look for the $3 off Revlon coupon in store and clearanced Revlon makeup. Got a nail polish and under-eye concealer for .50 – great deal!

      • Prsol

Also, I saw a preview of the CVS circular for next week and they will have Revlon polish nail as money maker deal:

        GET: Revlon Nail – $3.99
USE: $3.00 Revlon Cosmetic CVS Coupon from the Red Coupon Scanner
        PAY: $0.99
        Get a $3 ECB
Free + $2 Money Maker after coupon & ECB

        • Prsol

… if only I could get the silly Coupon Scanner to get me the coupon that I need!!!! LOL … ;-)

    • Lindsay_b13

Has anyone compared this CVS P&G sale with the items and ecoupons at Kroger to see which is a better deal? I'm still debating where to go…Thanks!!!

      • Lee

Not sure about everything else, but Charmin and Bounty are better deals at Kroger with the Ecoupons! :)

      • http://www.facebook.com/people/Jessica-Stubbs/100001726961787 Jessica Stubbs

At Kroger, I got crest for 50 cents and the secret deodorant for 89 cents. The Gillette body wash, old spice body wash, and old spice deodorant paid me several dollars back. This was just my first week, so all I had was P&G from 2/27 to work with. There are several close-outs on Gillette and old spice body wash because of packaging redesign.

      • Ebonyannette

yeah i didnt bother with the p&g deal this week at cvs, they are having a spend 25 get 10 in a couple weeks that I might go for. Kroger worked out to be much cheaper and lower OOP

    • Faye

Learned a valuable lesson this week. I used the sales paper from the Sunday State newspaper for CVS and purchased the advertised .88 each 2 liter Pepsi products and after looking over my receipt the next day realized I paid 1.99 each. After going back to the store I was told that different CVS stores have different sale items. I then asked where can you find the store location on the paper and was told that you just have to check with your area store to make sure you have the right sales flyer. Anyone else experience this?

    • Eae1959

just a reminder for new couponers…..the CVS red machine will print out two sets of coupons, scan card once and wait for machine to reset scan card again…I also get at least 4 to 5 coupons most weeks. This week $3 off Physicans Formula so was able to do the $10 deal and 7 ECB. I had a great money maker week at CVS spent $12 walked with 11$ in ECB.

      • Msbos

I am having issues with this at my CVS…. my “magic” red box only prints one set of coupons for me. This has happended everytime I've been in there for about 3 weeks now. Is this new or is there something wrong with my card? (or does the “magic” box hate me… ;)
        Thanks for any help!

        • Mrs. Ellis

I have the same thing happen to me. I have tried the last three times I visited. I would wait for the machine to reset and then scan it again, but it tells me I already received the coupons.

        • Sjen

Same here, so I stopped trying for about 2mos. Then on a whim, I tried again this week and what do ya know – I was able to get 2 sets (not very good ones, but 2 nonetheless). I don't get it.

      • tori729

YES, don't just scan your card once! I almost always get coupons after scanning twice and sometimes three times. Just scan until it says “no more coupons for today”

      • Mary

I got lucky, abt 2 weeks ago I got a $7.00 of any physicain formula couponfrom the red box, bought pressed powder for $12.xx, I got some candy used my $6.00 in ECbs, paid only .88 cents in tax LOL then got back $7.00 ecb

    • happy feet

I need your help…. can I use a green tag on every bag that I use? Or am I allowed only one….

      • Amy T

You can only scan one per day. It links to your extra care card. But if you're talking about using different bags and just having tags on all of them so that it doesn't matter which one you grab, I'm pretty sure the green bag tags all have the same barcode.

        • nackle78

hmmmmm, now my wheels are spinning. Because I use my card and my husband's card but if I use my bag tag once, say earlier in the day with my card, I can't use it with a seperate transaction in the evening with my husband's card. at least I thought I couldn't. now i'm thinking I bet I could!

      • Kelleyharold

They all have the same barcode. I would sometimes have the tag attached to a bag I'd used for something else and not have it with me when I went into CVS. A cashier told me she cut off the barcode and used clear packing tape to secure it to the opposite side of her ExtraCare card, so I did that as well. I always have my Green Bag Tag now, no matter which bag I actually bring into the store.

        • Sam

          Great idea!

    • Klynn

I signed up for the CVS advisor panel. Got my first survey today. It took about 10 Min. and they gave me $2 ECB. Loveing CVS

      • ab

Did you get an invitation to that or just sign up on their website? I'm interested, too!

        • Kynn

I signed up for it. Someone told me about it. I just typed in a search for cvs advisor panel.

    • Cyndy F.

I was very disappointed with my trip today. When I reviewed my receipt, the P&G spend $30 get 10 ECB said offer limit reached. WTH??? I didn't even notice it until I got home, so I didn't ask clerk. I'm new to CVS so did I do something wrong???

      • Cyndy F.

And same thing with my Dove spend 15 get 5…offer limit reached :(

        • Ms Free Shopper

my friend jess and i went to cvs tonight to find out about the same thing. just call 1800shopcvs. tell them what's going on and then scan your card at the coupon center and it will print off a $10 coupon for you :-)

    • Musiclady0110

Anyone tried to print the nature made Co Q 10 printable coupon listed with the nature made deal above??? Tried it several times and it always takes me to a page saying “web page expired”. I really need 2 of these $6 coupons!!! I've already used my All You ones few weeks ago :( Any suggestions?????

    • Curious

So if you split up the P&G deal into different transactions you'll still get the ecbs once you reach $30?

      • Sara Kathryn

Yes. They will still print since it is tracked with your CVS card. HTH!

    • TheAnnoyingOne

I bought 10 bottles of Crest Pro-Health for $3.29 ea. using 5 cards. Bought $2.50 off 1 coupons from ebay. And went in, paid $10.20 and walked out with $40 in ECB. Got $4 per bottle due to a register fluke. After the $4.99 for the coupons with shipping, and the $10.20 I paid, I got $24.81 more than I spent + 10 bottles of Crest Pro-Health.
Even without the register fluke I still would have gotten $17.71 for buying 10 Crest Pro-Health.

      • Ms Free Shopper

save some for the rest of us!! if you need to use FIVE cards your obviously not being fair to everyone else. . .

        • Ms Free Shopper

          *you're

          • TheAnnoyingOne

Ok. 1) You don't live in my town. 2) I bought them last day of the sale. 3) 20+ bottles left after I got mine. 4) Limit 2 bottles per card. 5) 14 people live in this house. 6) What part of I got paid $25 dollars by CVS to buy the 10 bottles did you not understand? Minimum coupon purchase of 10 coupons for $5.

Would you really have used only 2 of the coupons and just made your money back on your purchase, or would you have used all 10 and got paid $25 to do it?

            • TheAnnoyingOne

Oh. AND did you not read Jenny's how to do CVS deal info, where she tells you their policy is 1 card per person not per address? I could have just as easily if I wanted to go through the trouble, and didn't care about other people used 15 cards and gotten 30 bottles + $120 in ECB giving me $75 above my coupon and item expensive. (Meaning getting paid $75 dollars to do it.)
