Store Logo

Here is the weekly ad for CVS starting on Sunday, February 6. Leave a comment if you find any more great deals. This is somewhat of a boring ad with Gum and Tums being the only freebies.  I didn’t make a scenario this week because there isn’t much to work with.

Hopefully you’ll find a few things here you need and maybe the red coupon printer will give us some more deals!

    • Guest

Anyone have any luck finding a Wisk coupon that works?

      • Guest

One more question. Does CVS B1G1 ring up as 50% off of each? Just wandering if I would need to use 1 coupon or 2.

        • Chele17rene

You have to buy both to get BOGO @ my store!!

          • Chele17rene

You CAN use 2 coupons also!!

        • Marinka115

It's true BOGO at CVS. One rings up full price and the other rings up $0.

    • kcreviews

I hope next week's ad is better. I have some ECBs that will be expiring and there's nothing I want this week!

      • Cheryl

My CVS takes ECB even if they are expired.

        • kcreviews

Mine doesn't. I have tried before. Same thing with RR's.

          • Dee W

Mine will not take expired anything: ECB or coupons.

            • Dkshipp57

Mine either. I was sick and didn't get to go had over 20.00 counting both places and they said they can't. That make me even more sick. TN

    • Andre

Wouldn't the Mennen be $1.50 each?

    • Matt

The Trident gum Q does not make it free. There is a limit of one offer per card.

      • Nicole

It would be free even without the coupon…….$0.99 cost, but you get $0.99 back in ECBs.

        • Matt

Exactly. What's the point of using the coupon ($1/3) if there is only a limit of one.

          • Freedomspradley1

3 packs of gum for $1 is a pretty good deal if you are gum chewers!

          • Krdlgr

Thats why in parenthesis it just says free versus the cost after the coupon as usual. She puts every coupon option that she has underneath each item whether or not its a good idea to use it. It would have said (use 1Q and its like ??? each) but instead just said (free) so obviously they werent suggesting using the coupon!!!

    • Rjfranklin

there is a 2.00 off one Nut Rition, I found on it on a beer display but it is a Kraft manufactor coupon jonna

    • Carrie

It's too bad this isn't a very good ad….I just got an email with a coupon for $4 off a $20 purchase that expires on the 6th. Bummer.

      • Rwilson

Do they send these coupons periodically or do you have to do something special to get it?

        • Dkshipp57

I would like to know also how you get them. Everything said prints out doesn't for me

      • Morgan

I got the coupon too! And Rwilson, I have never figured out how they determine who gets one. This is my second coupon in almost a year, whereas my mom gets them every other week.

        • Gregoriandesigns

It is strange how they determine this. I get them almost every other week.

        • Rwilson

Thanks! I haven't gotten any…well, except for one when I signed up..Not fair…but Oh well, I can't complain too much since they give out free money to me everytime I go..haha!

          • Dkshipp57

I wish I could get it firgued out. Having fibro it messes with my mind, but at least it keeps it working. Last week I counted what I spent and got for first time.
Spent 86.00 and got 465.00 at Walgreens never made it to cvs. It took me 5 hrs. in the store which is bad since I broke my hip but I'm very Proud. It may not be as good as y'all but I did save alot and got good stuff. Even stacked all up took picture. Made me feel better and show my husband why I stay out all night. That when I go not much people. The scenios never work for me. They are out or we didn't get that coupon. Thanks everyone for your help it helps.

      • Tara P.

I got the email, too. I am actually going to use it for this current week 1/30 ad on some of the deals i looked over on my first trip. (get 7 ecb wyb $10 physician's formula and the dove deal) :)

      • ChrissyPunkin

The CVSs in my area take expired store coupons. Just ask. :-)

      • Eddieexpedition

I agree!!! Rite Aid's ad isn't any better.

      • Anonymous

You should check with your manager-my store takes these email q’s for 1 month past expiration, just like with their other cvs q’s and their ecb’s.

    • Mariah Brazil

Don't forget that some Maybelline is 50% off right now, and there are Maybelline coupons coming in Sunday's paper. I'm not good at formulating scenerios, but I would think this could be a good one!

      • Wdra0632

The clearance products will not print out the ECB's.

Colgate Total Whitening 4.2oz, cavity, Baking Soda & Peroxide, Triple Action 6.4 oz. or Kid’s Toothpaste 4.6 oz. B1G1
-$1 off Colgate Total toothpaste, 4 oz. +, Diabetes & You magazine
      -.75/1 Colgate Total Toothpaste printable

When I click on the printable-.75/1 it tells me it is no longer available…Why???

      • Mel

Because sometimes there's a print limit. They only allow a certain number of prints. Sometimes it resets, though, so you might want to try again in a few days.

    • Jennifer

I saw the bigger containers of Folgers coffee for $5.99 this week. Is this a good price?? I know Folgers is expensive but my husband refuses to let me get him cheap coffee for a good deal because he ONLY will drink Folgers. :(

      • Eddieexpedition

Sneak in some Eight O'Clock coffee… it's the BEST!! I've gotten my friend hooked who would ONLY drink FOLGERS as well… the Eight O'Clock is BOGO a lot at Publix and usually I have coupons… try it next time!

        • Chiefsangeleyes

The 8 O Clock coffee is great and when Publix put it BOGO last week, I got them for $1.38 a package!

          • Anonymous

me too! i love 8 oclock coffee

      • Superjen

It used to be that $5 was the rock bottom price for Folgers but now $5.99 is a good deal. I also like the eight o clock coffee and we used to only drink Folgers – I pour them into the canisters from Folgers and it's all good, I agree with eddieexpedition to try that too.

      • Anonymous

lol i always thought of Folgers as being the cheap coffee, no offense :) No thats not a great price. You can get Starbucks sometimes for less than that!

    • Elizabeth

Wasn't there a Kraft Mac & Cheese coupon in the Sunday paper not long ago? Any idea where?

      • ChrissyPunkin

        SS 1/16
There is a coupon database at the top–it's awesome. :-)

      • FreedomSpradley1

For our region that was a Kraft Homestyle Mac & Cheese so I don't think it will work on the items on sale at CVS.

    • wendyc33

couldnt you use the 1.50/1 prints for the butterfinger candy bags, and pay 2.00 and get back 1.00 ecb? she is only using the 1.50/2 just wondering this because i have my scenario this week for candy and tums. , that is if i get the tums cvs coupon.

buy 2 trident gum at .99 each
buy 2 bags of butterfinger candy at 2.50 each
      buy 1 tums at 3.99
total comes to $10.97 + tax
use a 3.00 ecb from last week
      use 3.00/cvs coupon for tums
      use 1.00/ tums coupon
use (2) 1.50/1 butterfinger candy coupons
use 1 b1g1 trident coupon takes off .99
= .81 oop for me, and get back 3.00 ecb
You then can use that 3.00 ecb and buy 2 quaker oatmeals at 2.50 each, totals 5.00+tax, minus 3.00 ecb, and minus (2) 1.00/1 quaker oatmeal coupons and pay just tax and get back a 2.00 ecb.

Not a great week, but just change for candy and some grocery items. I think the nivea could be something also, but will have to get some prices on those.

      • wendyc33

i checked the prices on the nivea stuff for people who want to know. there is coupons for nivea this weekend in the red plum insert. the nivea lip is 2.99 each, the nivea lotion is 5.99, or bw for 5.99, the mens body wash is 4.99, the mens shaving gel is 3.79 and that nivea good bye cellulite is 10.49. i know there is b1g1 nivea lip care this weekend plus some 1.00/1 coupons. still really does not make this too good for me.

      • FreedomSpradley1

The -$1.50/1 Butterfinger has the Publix logo on it. My fav CVS is a stickler with coupons with other stores logo's, even if it is a manf coupon.

    • Amy J.

On the Dove Visible Care BW, you could use the $1.25 off any one Dove BW coupon (says 10 oz. or larger) to make it 74 cents :-)

      • Amy J.

        it was in RP 01/30.

    • Aguffey27

How do you get the $3 off tums? The kiosk machine?

      • Tiff715

It says the Q is printing on reciepts

    • Mercurialc

      Hi Jenny,
Thanks for the great job you do.
This week I received an e-mail from CVS giving me a coupon for $5.00 off $15.00. Plus, they advertised that for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, get $5.00 in ECB's wyb $15 in Coke or Nabisco products pictured. They showed Ritz, Wheat Thins, Triscuit, canned nuts, and Coke products. Hope this helps someone.

    • Dkshipp57

When y'all say printing on receipts does that mean the red box or when you buy something? Hate to sound dumb. We just don't get the same coupons. Thanks Jenny for all your hard work. It helps for people to leave comments also. If I remember to check before going or printing

      • msivory20

Yeah the printing on receipts coupons are not the same as the redbox ones. And I'm not entirely sure what determines that which, if anything, is printed on the receipt.

        • Dkshipp57

Where r they getting the tums?

      • Sarah

I have some 3.00 off Boost coupons that are good till 2/13 that i could send if you send a sase

        • Dkshipp57

          No Tn

    • kristenk

I'm new to the drug store thing… will they still give ECB if the amount is less than the required amount after you use coupons? For example, for the $5 ECB when you buy $10 of Nivea, will I still get ECB if I buy $10 in nivea, but the total due is less than $10 after coupons? thanks!!!!

      • Sarcasticangel_82

Yes, sometimes u can get the product for free w/cupons but u still get the ECB's!

      • wendyc33

if the total due is under 10.00 you will not get the ecb. some people will say if the total comes to 9.98 or 9.99 like just a few cents under it will print, but i never tried that to find out. if your total comes to that, it is worth the shot to try it, and if dont print out, then cancel it.

        • jessica

do you mean total due or total amount the products add up to being a few cents short? because you can definately get the ecb’s even if you get the total due down to a few cents! that’s what’s great about cvs! that $10 requirement to get $5 ecb’s is before coupons :)

      • babydoll

the amount you have to spend is BEFORE coupons. Make sure you read the CVS Getting Started Guide near the top right of this page. It explains how to use the coupons and in what order. (for example use a $4 off $20 BEFORE other coupons otherwise your total may fall below $20.

    • beth

Can someone tell me if this will work…I know sometimes we can use a coupon on top of a coupon for b1g1.

Secret Flawless- buy 2 get 1 free coupon
+ use $1 off any secret
+ use $1 off any secret
      $3.99 each/ would be $6.00 oop/$1 ecb or $1.67 each?
When it says limit 1, is that limit one ECB or limit one purchased at sale price? Thanks!

      • I've read it's limit one ECB per ECC you use. To 'cheat' the system, you can have 2 cards to get more ECB's Like one in your name, one in your husbands name. Mark a 1 and 2 on each so not to confuse and use away! I haven't done this yet, but want to. Is that wrong? LOL

        • Glosmommy

Yes that is wrong! CVS' policy is one card per household. There are people out there who have many cards and get away with it. In my opinion, this violates coupon ethics.

          • guest

It must not be one card per household or either CVS is not sticking to that rule because my husband has a card and I have a card. Both cards are registured at the same address thru the system. I had my card before we got married and when I moved in with him I changed my address to his house and they have never contacted me to tell me that I needed to only use one card, either his or mine.

            • jessica

i don't think it's fair to assume everyone who shops with 2 cards is trying to cheat. i shop for my father. we live in different homes. i have the time to put these deals together that he normally wouldn't have time/know how to do. and i don't necessarily get the same things with his card that i get with mine – ex. men's body wash, vitamins and meds that i don't use, etc…but i will get him tp, shampoo, etc… deals that i use on my card as well. i don't think i'm doing anything wrong – but i'd like to hear any opinions :)

            • jessica

oh, and dad lights up when i show up with several bags of goodies from cvs and he tries to give me money but i show him the receipt and say no, i only spent $2! he can never believe it and it makes me feel like a good daughter for all he's done for me growing up :) i wouldn't be able to without 2 cards tho!

            • guest

I do the same thing. My Mom lives in another town and sometimes I use her card to get things for her because it will save her a trip. I have on a few times used her card to get a 2nd deal on something that our family uses regularly but she and Dad don't, but I always call and ask her beforehand if it's okay to do that. Also, one time she got a coupon from the coupon center for diapers. We don't really know how that happened, but she gave me the coupon to use because I had a child in diapers, and I had to use her card to buy them.

            • Missyba

I agree with you. I also shop for my father and have his CVS card as well and we share all the deals.

          • KA

actually you can have up to 3 cards. I had a personal card and with my CVS/caremark insurance, I received another card (white, healthcare EC card), they also asked me if I would like a “business” EC card since I work for myself, which I havent done yet. My regular card I have had for years and my healthcare card are separate, although with the same name and address.

        • Guest

Please don't cheat the system. As many stores will only allow you to use on card. In the end if you cheat the system other people lose out.

        • Ashley

That is so wrong I compltely agree with Glosmommy

        • Bamabobbie

There are some peeps that have multiple computers so they can print more than the 2 limit of coupons. I would do whatever I felt was right. CVS does have a limit on most items anyway.

        • Andreafields07

Yes, that is wrong. I used to work at CVS and none of had problems with and actually loved when we could give people good deals by using coupons and making them aware of the best way to save money. However, we didn't appreciate it when people who lie and say “Oh this is my moms card, this is my daughters card, etc.” We knew they were really cheating the system. CVS had a great ECB program, don't cheat it and take advantage of it!

        • Nackle78

When I signed up for my card they actually encouraged me to sing up for other people in my household. I've done more than one transaction before….put away my card and then used my husbands.

        • artlady

It seems to me like if you sign up for a card in your husband’s name, and he is able to shop with his card, then he should be the one using it. You use yours, he uses his. I read below how some people like to shop for their parents. That’s fine, if they are unable to shop themselves. It’s a tricky subject. Great deals are tempting… lets make sure that we are considerate of other families out there and share the wealth by taking what you need, and not taking in excess.

      • Julie

I think that will work. I did a similar thing at Rite Aid, using a B2G1 Secret and two $1/1 Secret Qs for three deoderants and it worked fine.

    • Tara P.

      Has a question:

On the $3ecb wyb $10 John Frieda, Jergens, Biore, etc….

The Biore Nose/Face strips are 9.99. Would I need to buy another product to reach the 10.00, or is that $0.01 cent short still applicable for the ecb deal?

      • Frugal-J

I would say yes. It has happened to me before when I think I'm getting my ecb and then to my surprise no ecb because I'm short of 1 cent.

        • Tara P.

          Thanks, i appreciate it!

      • Dan

This happened to me one time and I showed the manager my receipt. She took my receipt, swiped my card and did something and it printed off the ECB without having to purchase anything else. See the manager before trying to buy an additional item.

        • Tara P.

thanks. I went ahead and bought two items, I use the Biore pore strips like I use toilet paper, so it's a need. Thanks anyway though! :)

          • nancycrom

I know this sounds kinda crazy, but it works- I saw on TV years ago how to do your own pore strips for alot cheaper. You put Elmers white glue over your nose area, same place the pore strip would go, then let it dry, and peel off.

    • LS

I can't find the Nivea coupons in my RP 1/02…they're listed in red on the coupon variation sheet for The State paper in SC…what does this mean? What area do I need to get the paper from to get the coupons listed in red?
      Thank you!

      • Caitlin

Usually when it is in red, that means that it wasn't in the paper listed. It is probably a regional coupon.
I can't answer the second part of your question, seeing as I live in Florida, Hopefully someone in SC can help you with that part. HTH

    • Tara P.

Do all CVS stores put in place the ad on Saturday night? And what time constitutes 'night'? I'm going to try to go for this week mainly b/c I am not really a fan of this ad, not much I want. Will be making 1 transaction. I am going to Winn Dixie tonight, and CVS is in the same strip mall, trying to knock it out in one trip.

    • Cathy

I grabbed the Huggies box deal this afternoon. Paid $4.10 after coupons/ECB's. Plus the coupon machine gave me 1.00 off any hand or body lotion, grabbed a travel size of Curel for my purse – FREE.

      • Ebonyannette

How? the best I could do is $14.99 which q's did you use?

        • KT

I did the Huggies deal using a $4/$20 (CVS emailed it to me), a $1.50/1 Huggies coupon, and $10 ECB…$4.50 OOP plus got back $3 ECB;s.
I think she rolled a high amount of ECB's to get her deal as well. Either way I figure its a good price for diapers :)

    • Tara P.

Just did my CVS run for this ad. Didn't really like this ad – not much I wanted.

      (2) Biore Pore Strips 7.99 (15.98)
      (4) Colgate Cavity Protection Toothpaste 2.57, B1G1 (5.14)

      (1) Stride Spark Gum 0.99
      (1) Excedrin Tension Headache 1.99
      (1) Excedrin Extra strength + 8ct Excedrin PM Trial 1.99

      *not great, but fair*
and got 3.99 to roll to next week, $1 ecb from green bag tag, and after I buy my scripts this week, that'll give me another ecb. Total for next week: 5.99

    • Monro75

I just came back from a cvs trip. I did the revlon and the cvs allergy medicine but no ecb's printed out. I thought this deal tomorrow starts at 6pm today. It did work before on this store. Im wondering if they made changes. Im planning to return it tomorrow and do it all over again but Im afraid they will not accept it because I used my ECBs to pay it. Does anybody have any suggestions so I can get my ECBs from my purchase above?

      • Tara P.

On the bottom of your receipt, how much does it say you need to earn this reward? There could be a possibility that you were short b/c something was lower than you thought or you picked up an item that wasn't a part of the ecb deal. If that's the case, I would return the item that you spent to achieve the total, but wasn't on the deal, and buy something that is on the deal.

        OR

if you legitimately bought everything on the deal and you can't see anything wrong with it. I would just take it back and ask a manager what the problem was. They can scan your card and issue you the ecbs.

They did that with me last week when I bought regular raisin bran instead of raisin bran crunch, and she just scanned my card and printed my 4ecbs out.

    • wags75

i just shopped at cvs & they had some of the dove shampoos on clearance for $1.19
      & combined with the $1 coupon, basically paid .26 a piece…

    • Syndilew

I received a coupon from CVS stating that I could take $5 off of a $15 purchase and it could be printed more than once. Do you think that it will let me use it more than once or will it say that this coupon has already been used on this card? I was just wondering if CVS keeps better track of their coupons than Rite Aid.

      • Morgan

It's a one-time deal. CVS keeps very good track of those coupons.

      • Missyba

I printed the coupon 3 times and used them no problem.

        • Phatpatswife

That's coupon fraud….the coupon states to only be used once. Doing that hurts the rest of us because they will stop giving those coupons out!

    • guest

Has anyone in the Lex, SC area found the Dove BW to use the $1q??

does anyone live in or near West Point, MS. I feel like I am the only coupon shopper in my town. I would like to get together to talk and share info and ideas. email me at olemissmoss@yahoo.com

      • Msuweather

The west point CVS is so much better than the one in Starkville. I stopped by there in the snow last week as I was driving through town. They always have the items in stock.

Can someone tell me if cvs store matched cvs online pricing. I so a sale online if a take the printout to the store do theu honor it?

      Thanks in advance

      • Teresa

hahahahaha, sorry for the spelling errors, i just read what I wrote, kind of looks like a was typing while drunk LOL

      • Andre

        I don't think they will.

    • cathy

If you buy the 2 $25 american express you will get the $5 ECB and then turn around and use the $50 to do the rest of your shopping or you can save it for gas.

      • karen

Those things have activation fees around 5 or 6 bucks each I think. It wouldn't be worth it to buy them just to get the ECBs.

    • Suzi

I am new to this. Ad states -$3 any &10 cosmetic purchase @ coupon center. Can I use that on Olay complete (8.99) + Revlon shadow & liner – get $4 EB?

      • Dianne L

        yes

    • Godot

I got the $3/10 cosmetics coupon from the Coupon Center. Very nice.

Also, on the Herbashine (hair coloring), be aware that some of the product rings up at $3.99 instead of $7. I am home now and still cant figure out how that happened for the same product.

Lastly, on the Excedrin, the coupons for $3 and $2.50 will come off fully, which is nice. And you can add the $1 off MQ to the $3 that came from CVS in snail mail, which makes it even nicer.

    • Brendaturner53

Yesterday I bought $94.94 worth… after in store coupons, manf. coupons, #1 $10 off #50… I paid 3 cens plus tax. Yea! It was great buys, #6 H/S shampoos, mouthwash, deoderants, #2 box cereal bars, #5 dove bars, toilet paper and tissue. All things this household was running out off. Now, stocked for a few months . For you math girls what % savings was that?

      • Happy Feet

        Cents. sorry

      • Nikpik27

what exactly did you buy and with what coupons?? Did you use any ECB to purchase your stuff??

    • Lauraucf

Does every state charge $3.95 per Amex gift card for activation? It isn't any kind of deal even with the extra bucks in Fl.

      • Rty33

        NY charges $5

    • Melissam

Maybe someone already mentioned this one, but there is a Covergirl offer for 'Buy a mascara (certain ones only) get an eyeshadow kit free'–and I used the coupon printer's $3 off $10 worth of cosmetics, too…so that was nice. However, just a warning, it did not ring up as free, the cashier had to actually go in and give me the deal, but the signs were up so she honored it.

    • Mollieirene

CVS currently has Nivea body wash (touch of Lemongrass) on clearance for $2.99> Use $1.00 coupon and buy 4. Makes each one $1.99> then get back $5 in ECB> Makes each .75 cents>>>>or $3 for 4 Nivea Body wash for women!

      • Tara P.

You can't use the “clearance” items towards the ECB deals… atleast not any of the 3 CVS that I use.

        • Mariah

Actually, if you argue about it, they will give it to you (as long as the ad says “Any”. Good luck!

    • Laura

My CVS trip today was interesting –
      Herbashine Hair Color $3.99 x 3
      Garnier Hairspray $3.99
      Garnier Mousse $4.59

      I used –
3 $3 off Herbashine Hair Color
2 $1.00 off Garnier Styling Product
      $4.00 ECB from last week
      Total OOP – $6.99 & earned $10.00 ECB

    • Tara P.

If you haven't enrolled in the beauty club, I would HIGHLY suggest you do it! For every $50 you spend on beauty products (shampoos, lotions, makeup, hair care, color, etc – everything basically) – you get $5 ecb. For the 2nd week in a row, without knowing it – I spent $50 in beauty products and the red machine gave me $5 ecb!

Oh, and the $50 is BEFORE coups.

      • Syndilew

I have done this deal as well and the red machine is not spitting out my ecb. I tried to call corporate. My beauty bonus hasn't moved in two weeks. Even though, I have actually bought makeup.

    • Phyllis

I live in FL. CVS had the Sally Hansen Diamond 12 Hr Lip Treatmt on sale 75% off. Normally it is $6.99….today on clearance it was $1.75. I also used a SS printable coupon for any SH lip product, for an additional $1 off…..wonderful at .75 cents! They had 6 colors available…enjoy.

      • Kristy

thank you for sharing. I love that stuff!

    • Stefluvs2sign

SAVED $198.14 paid $13.94 on make-up last night! The day before I saved $134.88 and paid $6.85! FYI CVS has a TON of makeup on sale for 75% OFF! Use all of your $2/1 and $5/2 coupons and make a killing. I have only hit 2 CVS's but I plan to hit more. Also got $7 ECB's on the Physician's Formula which I had to spend $10 to get $7 ECB. That stuff is expensive but shop the 75% off and I got 5 of those items for $11!

      • Eae1959

Have been doing this and the prices are amazing at 75% off with coupons even better. Had 3 items last week for .47…

      • wendyc33

you would have gotten back some more ecb's if you had signed for there beauty club rewards. You still can, but goodness with all that makeup they would reward you after like 50.00 worth. good deals though.

    • Mrs Hawkins

Anyone know the price of the Wisk Laundry detergent that is B1G1?

      • JJ

$7.49 I just went tonight and a manager informed me that they no longer take 2 coupons on B1G1 free deals. Due to recent updates on their computer.

      • Morgan

At my store it was $8.49 ($8.99 for HE). And they took both of my $2 off coupons.

    • nancycrom

For the Biore pore strip users-I know this sounds kinda crazy, but it works- I saw on TV years ago how to do your own pore strips for alot cheaper. You put Elmers white glue over your nose area, same place the pore strip would go, then let it dry, and peel off.

      • Kristy

        Wow….interesting!

    • Jessie E.

Does anyone know how senstive the $3/$10 cosmetics coupon is? I'm never completely sure what may or may not be considered a cosmetic purchase!

      • Godot

I could not use it at the same time as a $5/30.
On another trip, I was able to use it on lip stick and hair color.
        Hope that helps some.

        • jessica

i wonder why! i also had a $5/30 and a $3/10 cosmetic purchase and they took them both with no problem! one has nothing to do with the other i don't think!

    • Julie

i took advantage of the huggies diaper deal. I bought a box of Snug & Dry for $19.99. Used a $3 CVS coupon that printed at the kiosk last week. $3 off Manufacture coupon, and I had $3.99 ECB's. So I paid $10 and got back $3 ECB's. It's a good deal if you need them! I am expecting, and stocking up. I'm determined to never pay full price for diapers.

    • Dmcilwain

The Dove Invisible Care Body Wash 10.1 oz. has been advertised in the weekly ad for the past 3 weeks. I have checked 4 CVS locations in Charleston SC but can't seen to find it. Does anyone know why it is being advertised if it is not available?

      • ROBERT BUIST

Each CVS ONLY GETS A CERTAIN AMOUNT IN EACH STORE SO YOU CAN ASK FOR A RAINCHECK SO WHEN IT DOES COME IN YOU WILL RECEIVE IT AT THE SALE PRICE

      • katie

my store wrote me a raincheck but told me they havent gotten that size in from corporate in 3-4 weeks. They dont even have a spot/price tag for it so they werent sure if they would really ever get it- they do have the large size (16 or 18 oz?) but its not on sale.

      • Couponqueen7

If there is a Walgreens near you, you should try there. I live in Columbia, and found found them at Walgreens. They have plenty in stock and they are only $2.00. Only one cent more than CVS.

    • Hotrodcheyennne

My CVS had the Dove Invisible Care Body Wash but it was on an end display on the bottom shelf almost to the back of the store. It wasn't with the regular items. I had to ask for it.

      • I was in a hurry and when I couldn't find it with regular body wash, I didn't have time to ask for it. May make another trip later in the week.

    • Stacielovescoupons

Does anyone know what happens when you use a B1G1Free coupon on a B2G1 Free deal??? Or a B1G1 coupon on a B1G1 50% off deal???

      • Tiff715

I know on the BOGO 50% off with a BOGO Q you only pay for half the ptice of on item. Im pretty sure if you use a BOGO with a B2G1 youget 3 items and only pay for 1

        • Stacielovescoupons

That's what I was thinking too! Thanks! CVS has some candy bars B2G1 and I have the B1G1 coupon!!

          • Tara P.

I did that with the Snickers Peanut Butter. They had the Buy 2 Get 1 free deal, and I had a buy 1 get 1 free coupon. I ended up paying 0.89 cents for 3 candy bars.

          • Tara P.

I did that with the Snickers Peanut Butter. They had the Buy 2 Get 1 free deal, and I had a buy 1 get 1 free coupon. I ended up paying 0.89 cents for 3 candy bars.

      • Mysterious_Mentalist

        A) For store sales, B1G1 50% off, the manuf B1G1 Q. would take off the lower price (50% item). However, sometimes manuf Q. slip thru 100% Off.

        B) For B2G1 store sales, just ignore the store sale. You would simply use manuf Q B1G1. Thus, in such scenario, your one manuf Q should give you 3 bars free and just pay for one. This is how it works. For some vigilantes employees, it may be hard to grasp. If that happens, just let them know “manuf. Qs can be used irrespective of store sales/price”

    • Djacob15

I did the Covergirl mascara: get free eyeshadow deal. I also bought a clearance covergirl item to push me over the 10 dollar mark so I could use the weekly coupon for 3.00. I used 2 $1.00 off any covergirl item coupons, so all together it was only 6.28 for 20 dollars worth of makeup. Pretty good deal

    • katie

The $3/$10 worked fine on clearance makeup this morning, along with MQ. I purchased 2 revlon lip products and 2 revlon face products, all were 75% off. With the $3 Q, (2) $2 face and (2) $1 lip, i paid $4 for 4 items!

    • Kimberly

If you're interested in the K-Y and there isn't much travel distance to go to Target, it is on sale for 14.99, plus a 7/1 Q, and you get a $5 gift card makes it 2.99

      • Syndilew

Rite Aid has a good deal this week too. Use the $7 off Q and then use their $3 off Q from VV and then you get a $5UP

        • Amy

Rite Aid does not accept internet printables above $5 as per their coupon policy. If the cashier is paying attention, they will not (and should not) accept it.

          • Syndilew

My cashier did tonight. My RA says as long as it scans they will accept it.

      • Missyba

Where is the $7 off Q at??
        Thanks

        • R W Savings

There is a $7 coupon available if you like them on Facebook

          • Superjen

My kids, my dad, my in laws are on Facebook…that's one 'like' I'm going to skip!

      • Carolstudie

There is also a peelie for a free valentine card value up to $2.99

    • HappyMom

How is gum free? 99¢ ECB WYB Trident Vitality or Stride Spark gum 9-14ct 99¢ Limit 1 -$1/3 Trident gum, SS 1/02 (makes it FREE)
I must not be doing my math right…. if they are .99 each – that brings total to $2.97 less $1.00 coupon less .99ECB still leaves total of .98, right?

      • Karen

You don't use the coupon. I don't know why she listed it. Maybe just in case someone wants more gum, they can get one free and pay for the others plus get a little more off with the coupon. So you really just get one free and that's great!

        • HappyMom

so true – just making sure I didn't miss something! thanks for your help!

    • Sheila

Can anyone help me with my question?

The nivea deal spend $10 get $5 ECB. In this weeks RP there is a BOGO coupon for the nivea in the deal. If I buy the products to get my total to $10 and then use the BOGO to bring the total back down, plus other $1, will I receive the ECB? If I have worked it out right these items would come to $5 using my $2 ECB from last week. With $5 ECB makes it free!

      • Sheila

I have just found my answer and it is a good deal I think?!?!

Nivea deal spend $10 get $5ECB

        Buy 4 nivea lipcare @ $2.99 each total $11.96
        Use 2 bogo RP 2/6
        total oop $5.98
ECB $5 back makes them .25c each!

I have $2 ecb from last week making my total $3.98 so I make a profit!!!!

        • jessica

also sheila, i saw on an ealier post that there are $1/1 coupons you can use with that deal too (not sure where they are, sorry). the $1 coupon attaches to the product you are paying for, and the BOGO coupon attaches to the free item, so you should be able to use 2 of those if you can find them. someone correct me if i'm wrong, tho. if that does work, it makes for an even nicer deal :)

          • Mysterious_Mentalist

yes, it would work. However, I doubt there is $1/1 Q out for lipcare. There is one $1/1 out for face product-it wouldn't count towards lipcare though.

        • Bryarsmom

Keep up with RA's posts too Sheila-they frequently offer Nivea lip products deals with Ups. Recently we worked these deals and ended up with about 30-some lipcares :)

          • Sheila

Thanks. The transaction worked well. OOP $3.98 with $5 ECB back. I made a profit!

      • jessica

yes that will work ) the $10 total is before coupons! good deal :)

    • Is anyone else as bummed as I am at the lack of deals at CVS lately? I miss shopping my favorite store. I did stop in this week to use an ECB that was about to expire & used a raincheck from a few weeks ago. I was hoping to grab the Tums deal too, but the machine didn't print a $3 off Q for me. :-( I ended up spending $1.01 for a gallon of milk, a half gallon of chocolate milk, & 5 packs of gum. Not a bad savings, but I still miss “the good old days.” :-) (click the link on my name for detailed coupon info.)

      • Godot

I, too, originally thought this was not a great week. However, once I got in the store, I realized some of the Garnier Herbashine was $3.99 instead of $7. Combine that with the $3 IPs and you are off to a terrific start on the Garnier ECB deal, especially with the Coupon Center printing $3/10 off cosmetics. Then the Excedrin $3 and $2.50 coupons came off fully, eventhough the sale price was $1.99. Add the Trident and Zantac and perhaps the Nivea with a $5/30 from email and it is a nice week after all.

      • Superjen

I think it's not the lack of deals so much as the lack of huge blood sugar meter deals. Thinking back to the past, that was what always made my trips end up so great, getting those high profits after ECB and coupons. I have a feeling we will need to wait out this recession before they issue stuff like that again.

      • Bryarsmom

        I agree Ruth.
Things have grinded almost to a halt at our beloved CVS.
        I have wondered astray…..to RA :) hehehe

    • Butlerfly2

CVS has Afrin nasal spray on sale for $5.99. I had 2 catalina coupon for $5.00 off. Afrin for 99 cents! Woohoo!!!

    • Guest

I have a question about about Buy one get one free items – if I only need one item, will it be half price? Or do I have to buy both items?

      • moneysaved4disney

        you have to buy both

      • jessica

from my understanding from comments on this website, unless you're in florida or coastal georgia, if you only buy one item that is a BOGO sale, it will ring up half price. in fl and coastal ga, if you only get 1 item you will get burned cause they will still charge you full price so you might as well take the other one and donate it if you don't need it :)

        • jessica

i'm replying to myself lol – i just realized that what i said in the above post may only apply to grocery stores like winn-dixie and publix. i don't think any cvs's do half-price on BOGO's. maybe someone outside of fl or ga can advise :)

      • Mysterious_Mentalist

At CVS, one will ring full price; of course get two to get the second free

    • moneysaved4disney

If an item is 2/$4 or similar, do I have to buy both to get the price or will just 1 ring up full price?
For example, deoderants were 2/$6 but I only had a coupon for $2/1…so could I have gotten it for a total of $1?

      • jessica

in my experience, you only have to buy 1 product and it will ring up at the sale price. for example i see all the time soup or canned veggies marked on sale as 10/$10, but you wouldn't have to buy 10. if you only get 5, you would only pay $5. i think the only time you have to buy both items to get the sale price is for BOGO's (at least here in florida where we are the land of the 'true' BOGO lol).

      • Bamasaver

Should ring up @ sale price if you buy just one–at least that's what I've experienced.

      • Mysterious_Mentalist

It is a marketing tactic. They want you to buy higher quantity-It is working because you were not sure and many would simply pick up two to get the sale even if they just wanted one. Also, in most cases, they would have it in fine print something like “must buy 2” or perhaps the price of 1 with few extra cents or so

        • moneysaved4disney

Thanks to all 3 of you! I knew at Publix I don't need to buy both, but since CVS makes you buy 2 for BOGOF stuff, I thought they may for these as well. Good to know!

    • NewToTheQ

CVS Red Q machine printed a $2 off Excedrin PM or Migrane, I got a 24ct Excedrin PM and only paid tax!

      • Mysterious_Mentalist

There should be no tax on medicine or medicinal products. Does your State/locality charge tax?

        • Queennana0725

If New To The Q is from Alabama we pay taxes on EVERYTHING!

          • guest

So do we in Tennessee. No state income tax (yet) but very high sales tax on everything. Prescription drugs are the only thing that I remember not paying sales tax.

          • ChrissyPunkin

I know! We pay 10% on GROCERIES here in Montgomery.

        • NewToTheQ

Yes, we have to pay 7% on everything, and 1% on food items

    • jessica

i see a lot of questions/comments on what order to present your coupons, esp when using a $5/$30 or the like. i have always handed that one over first for the fear of if being rejected after other coupons, ecb's bring my total below the $30 requirement. well yesterday when i went to check out, a manager opened a register because there was a line forming. when i handed her my $5/$30 first and then my other coupons, she set the $5/$30 aside and scanned all the other coupons, ecb's first. i was going to stop her and ask her to scan the $5 off as i saw my total reducing, but since she was a manager i decided to keep quiet and not try to tell her how to do her job, and just see how it played out. my total before discounts was about $55 and after coupons and ecb's about $17. she then scanned the $5/$30 and it went thru no problem! no beep or anything lol! my only fear of doing it this way again would be that sometimes i get my total down to just a couple bucks and i wouldn't get full credit for the $5 but i knew i wasn't going to get that low on that trip. just wanted to share – it's a question i see alot on here :

      • Syndilew

The same thing happened to me yesterday but it wouldn't let mine go through. My cashier had to void the transaction and start over.

        • jessica

interesting – don't you wish there was just a standard policy so we all know what to expect when we plan our trips! i know that there can occassionally be exceptions to the rule, but the variances seem too broad! just my opinion :)

      • Mysterious_Mentalist

Was your card the very first item scanned?

      • Chele17rene

I hand the coupons over as I want them scaned!! (You don't have to give them all in a pile to the cashier)

    • Julie

The machine gave me $3/$10 of cosmetics plus $3/one Maybelline. I got the Maybelline lipstick that generates a $4 ECB, plus 2 nail polishes and paid $1 OOP. I also got the free gum and a good deal on Easy Mac at 2 for $3.00.

      • Guest

Which Maybelline lipstick gives $4 ECB? I thought it was Revlon brand lipstick for the $4 ECB?…. Thanks!

        • Julie

Oops! You're right – it was the Revlon!

    • Toto

I am new to the CVS deals but did get a $3/$10 of cosmetics from the magic coupon machine when I scanned my card. I used this with other MQs to get clearance items very, very cheap. Can I scan my CVS card again at the magic coupon machine and get another $3/$10 coupon to score more cheap items or is this a limit of one time? Thanks for the great postings!

      • Syndilew

I got this coupon yesterday and today. I think that it is printing out once per day but wouldn't swear to it.

    • Guest

Question: The red box gave me the $3/$10 of cosmetics as well as a $3/$15 off of Neutrogena. Should I be able to use both of these at once on a purchase of $15, or no since they both came from the red box?

      • alissa

        You can use them together.

        • Guest

          Great! Thanks ya'll!

      • Musiclady0110

You should be able to…..Tonight I used a $5/2 Revlon products and a $3/10 Cosmetics. They both came from the red box. So I got 2 Revlon mascaras for $4 after ECB!!!!

        • Heather

I used these two coupons together tonight as well as a $2 off coupon that was a peelie on the lipstick I got! Also go my Excedrin PM = freebies, cashier gave me my $4 ECB after my $1.47 total and said she basically just paid me to carry the items out of the store :P

    • Jessie E

I'm startig to think the CVS registers don't care so much about what a coupon is for. And I like it!
Today I got my Clairol foam hair color coupon for a free box. Bought one box of color at $6.99, 2 boxes of oatmeal at 2/$5 and 3 boxes of Rice a Roni at $0.88. I used my $3/$10 cosmetic coupon (that scanned even though I didn't buy $10 worth AND didn't expect hair color to count anyway), then my free Cairol coupon. My total ended u at $3.03 and I got back $3ECB.
(I was hoping to use a 4/$20 but did my math wrong and didn't have $20 worth, and they didn't have the Dove body wash so my original plan didn't work how I wanted it to, but this worked out much better!)

    • Jennifer

Does anyone know if I can use 2 BOGO coupons (1 store and 1 manufacture) on 2 items to get both free?

      • Tammie

Yes, you should be able to. Be sure to read on the upper right side of this page for the CVS coupon policy.

    • Musiclady0110

I'm in Alabama and my RP 1/02 insert had a B1G1 for Nivea Lip Care…think this is regional…. I bought 4 @ $3.49 used 2 B1G1 Q and the $3 off $10 cosmetics and got back $5 ECB!!!! That's 4 Nivea lip care with $1.02 profit!!!! I LOVE CVS!!!! HTH someone :) Thanks for all the great post!!!

      • momto3girls

I also have the Nivea B1G1 coupon in RP 1/02 (AJC) but be sure to check your expiration date! Mine expired on 1/15/11!!

        • Sheila

momto3girls the BOGO Nivea licare were in the RP 2/6. Check last weeks and see if you got them. I did!!

    • Mysterious_Mentalist

Nivea Lipcare B1G1 is out RP 2/6 in some areas (expire 2/20). That should make for some good Nivea deal. I believe Lipcare is 2.99 (or so) and ones with spf are 3.99 (or so).

      • Nysummer2010

if you can combine the coupon $3/$10 on cosmetics from magic coupon machine, it will be even sweeter :)

    • Mysterious_Mentalist

Unless it has changed recently, up to 6 cents short towards the deal total has printed ECB.

      • Katiecoupon

I got 10 herbashines for 1.99 each totalling 19.90 and still got the ecbs!

    • Reshoe

CVS is doing a Facebook promotion for a possible 20% or 25% off coupon. “like” them and register your card under Special Offer tab.

I spent 20 minutes picking out clearance make-up to use with the $3/$10 store coupon, then the cashier told me that they are not supposed to take coupons for clearance items! I questioned that and she said if the register wouldn't take the q's, then I couldn't use them. Well, what do you know, no beeps from the register. I would have asked for manager if it had. No $5 ECB for the Maybelline, but I didn't push that since I have read posts here that no ECB for clearance items. Still got $37 worth of makeup for $3 and will shop another CVS tomorrow.

      • Nysummer2010

I used my $3/$10 on clearance makeup and it did beep :((
but the manager was nice to manually adjusted it :))

      • Sugarfeet9484

my cashier told me that they just couldn't issue ECBs on clearance stuff, but didn't say anything about not using coupons.

      • Zombiemommy

Usually ECB's are not triggered on clearance items. Last year Loreal wouldn't work when I tried it.

    • melmel

Just got a new email from CVS: If you 'like' them on Facebook AND they reach 250,000 'likes' by 2/11/11, they will email you a 20% off coupon on 2/14/11 to be used in store. If they get more than 250,000 'likes' on or before 2/11/11, your % off coupon that they email you will be higher, up to 25%! 'Like' them on Facebook, if you haven't already, and then fill out the registration form on the tab. Happy couponing! :D

      • You can try to use the grocery gathering at BeCentsAble (http://www.becentsable.net/sto…/) to help you find a site that covers each of the stores in your area. The drug store deals will be the same though, so hopefully I can still be some help.

        • SHERRYBERRY7570

Deal Alert! The CVS in Berwick (Savannah) had several of the Garnier HerbaShine with Bamboo Creme marked at 50% off ($4.14 each); however, when they rang up, they rang up at only $2.07 each! So they were really 75% off! My total ended up being less than the $20 because of this, so I ran back to the aisle for another shade, and again it was 75% off. Hope you guys have the same luck!

    • Rachel444

I attempted to use coupons on some maybelline clearance make up & the store clerk told me they were not valid for discounted makeup??? Is that right? I was defyant though and the pharmacy blindly rang up my items and never questioned the use of the coupons…..so – what is the REAL answer?

      • jhoran

        Yes, you can.

    • Mcleodsc

I got a 3/10 cosmetic coupon yesterday. Any scenerio with a low out of pocket? I have one $2 ECB to use. What exactly counts as a cosmetic?

      • Gingiraffe

Use it for either the Maybelline or Revlon deal (see coupons in Jenny's list above). Which ever you have the most coupons for would be the deal I'd go with. Or whichever you use more. You can also see if there is any clearanced make-up and use it on $10 woth (plus manufacturer coupons if you have them.) Cosmetic = make-up or beauty tool (usually)

      • Jessie E

I used it with a box of hair color that was $6.99 and a few grocery items. Still worked fne for me!

I'm a coupon newbie and getting very addicted very fast!! I was super excited to see the Dove body wash for $1.99 and then the printable Dove Q for $1/1. But, when I click on the printable link, it's not on the Dove website anymore. Am I missing something or am I just too late?

      • Srhine85

It has probably just been printed the maximum amount of times allowed, so you are most likely too late.

      • Sheree00

There is now a $1.25 coupon on the dove website, so you will save more on it today :)

    • hsvmom3

I was wondering if anyone else has had a problem with the cashier wanting to adjust a coupon when it is for more than the item. I went to one of our CVS's the other day and she took my $3.50 off any size Excedrin PM and adjusted it down to $1.99. I questioned it and explained that CVS would still get reimbursed for the full amount. She refused to take it at face value. I went on to explain that Target is currently engaged in a lawsuit for doing exactly what she was doing and told her to cancel my entire $50.00 plus order.

      • AuburnAlum07

I don't understand, why would she be adjusting it down to $1.99 anyway?

        • Mcleodsc

because the Excedrin PM is on sale for 1.99 and the coupon is more than 1.99.

      • Syndilew

The stores that do this like Wags, I have always felt that this wrong. It seems to be like they are committing coupon fraud. They redeem that from the manu. stating that they sold an item for this amount and really didn't. I sure wish that whoever is doing that lawsuit wins and everyone becomes more coupon friendly or else it will make companies stop taking coupons all together. I sure hope that isn't what happens.

      • Melissa

I had the same problem. I bought 5 and the 4th coupon wouldn't scan and the cashier was going to adjust it down to .45 I told him no way the coupon was for 3.50 and I wasn't losing the other 3.05 I took back the last 2 coupons to save for later since I still made 1.50 because I got a 2.00 off excedrin from the red machine.

      • Marlenecu

Stores that do this are supposed to write in ink the amount that they actually gave you for the coupon. This way the manufacturer will only pay the amount the store gave you. I have had this happen to me at Kroger more than once. Can't complain though still getting it for free! However, I would not let them reduce without marking coupon.

      • yhmomof2

And who did it hurt when you had her cancel your whole $50 plus order? The cashier? No, you went home without all that product. The cashier simply went on to the next customer! fyi..the manufacturer reimburses to business for the amount the coupon was taken for (scanned for). They never put that coupon out there so you could use part of the 3.50 they intended to be used on excedrin for you to pay for other products. Doing that would be the perfect example of coupon fraud, think about it.

    • Gapeach4him

I am not able to locate the Nivea product coupons in the 1/02 RP…help!!

      • JJ

They also had it inside 2/6 Redplum.

    • LBsMommy

The CVS in Cayce, SC has Pantene Pro-V shampoo, conditioner, and stylers for $3.33 each. There are ECB tags on the shelves that say if you buy $10 worth of these products, you'll get $3 ECB. It didn't print then, but I went back today and got a $5 ECB instead (might have been a mistake by the cashier).

    • Jessie E

Have been seriously miscalculating lately and getting a little frustrated. Counting on coupons to work that aren't working and spending more than I want to get some back. However, was excited to see that Herbashine I wanted was on clearance for $1.99, but having trouble finding it. Was also happy to see that its being counted toward the $20 total for ECB :) Paid $0.24 for two boxes today!!

    • peaches51777

I bought the Crest Whitening Strips today. They are on sale for $10 off and to my surprise I got $10 EB as well.

    • Kate
