    • OHHHHH, YEAHHHHH It's gonna e a good week at CVS… lol

    • Jamie

How do you get a recycle bank coupon?

      • couponsforme

you buy it with points… use the search box at the top to find the post from about 2 or 3 weeks ago it takes you through how to get the 100 points needed.

    • Kb

I never could access the emerald nuts coupon…..I even registered…HELP!

      • couponsforme

you have to allow pop ups and it is in small letters on the bottom of the popup screen. it offers coupons for emerald and kettlecorn chips.

    • bellaxo

I could not get any of the Clorox/Pine-Sol coupons to print. They were all “limited out”. The $1/2 Ritz coupon is also not available. Expired on 3/12.

    • Bacoupons

I cannot get the $6 off Nature Made Coenzyme Q10 printable coupon. Is is still available?

    • Gincreekfm

Hi, I went to the CVS in Decatur, Al and the salesperson said they now have a new policy. The subtotal is now after coupons. For example, I was buying the $20.00 Loreal promo and the subtotal had to be $20 AFTER using my Coupons.

      • Stephanie

I would recommend shopping at the CVS in Hartselle, AL. I prefer it much more and the staff is much more helpful.

      • Geff

Lets hope this isn't true… they make the same amount of money whether they have a customer that spends $20 and uses $5 of coupons or the customer outright spends $20 with no coupons. Either way they get their $20. All these coupon policies are getting carried away… like people who are using coupons are ripping them off. When clearly, they aren't.

      • They are incorrect. Cashiers love to make up their own rules. Talk to the manager & if they say the same thing call corporate. It makes no sense for it to be after coupons since they get reimbursed by the manufacturer.

      • Gail

I went to CVS in Hueytown, Al. today and the salesperson told me about the new policy, not the one you mentioned but they no longer take competetor coupons.:<(

    • Bluebonnets7

I've been away from couponing for a couple of weeks–Where do I find the “Get more from your Pharmacy booklet?

      • Amyral

I was wondering the same thing.

        • Vtkelly

I've seen her answer that on other posts that it's a book you find at Kroger near the pharmacy, but I don't have a Kroger near me.

          • Amy J.

I have a Kroger near me, but was unable to find it at my Kroger (in Hinesville, GA) unless I overlooked it somehow.

    • Gincreekfm

Thank you all for your post. I am afraid it was the manager who came over and informed the cashier of the new rules:( I usually do not see him in the store.
If this is true I will have to change my game plan.

      • kindlechic

The cashier at one of the CVS's where I shop, informed me that there was someone buying cart loads of products (leaving none for other customers – to take advantage of deals/sales). She said the managers were getting upset at how many other couponer's were complaining. I was informed that a lot of changes were coming soon and lots more “limits” on deals.

        • QMOM

Typical knee-jerk reaction. One goal of a store manager is to increase sales. To increase sales they need to make sure the store's supply meets the demands of the shopper. A simple economic principle anyone in retail management should grasp. Instead of limiting purchases get the product in the store and on the shelf. But there is only so much a store manager can do. Corporate buyers have to buy it from the manufacturer and distribution has to get it to the store. Unfortunately the sharp increase in demand from couponers has the drugstore corporations scrambling to keep up and it will probably get worse before it gets better.

          • Newtotheq

yes, but a store can only hold but so much back stock, and some wouldnt run into this problem as much if it werent for the people that clear the shelves just to get a high off of the free items

            • wendyc33

Honestly I think cvs and other drugstores are in trouble financially to get the stock for all the stores. Ive heard cvs and rite aid for sure. and if thats the case then I bet they have limits to how many they can order. I own a business, and when your trying to just make ends meet right now, its hard to order more stock when you have limited money.. just saying. Thats my guess. Times are hard for alot of businesses guys. and when gas prices are up, I bet its even harder for them to get more trucks to deliver the goods. when gas prices are up, it trickles down to every business and hurts them. just a thought.

          • FreedomSpradley1

I totally agree but the managers are usually as flustered as we are about lack of stock. I've had different store managers reassure me they ordered the stock but it doesn't come in on the truck because the warehouse is out. I'm sure corporate limits stock to each store regardless of what a manager wants. Just like manufacturers limit coupon prints, they probably also limit the amount of ECB deals they will refund CVS forcing a limit on stock. To my understanding, ECB deals are refunded to the store just like the manufacturer coupons.

        • Amanda

I don't think it is really necessary for anyone to get a cartload full of any deal. I just want my one or two free items and I would be happy. Even if people are donating items as well, it is pretty greedy to fill up a cartload. Instead buy a few for yourself and some to donate. There is always another sale as we all know. I am glad they limt some items and thankfully we can always get rainchecks with sales and ECB deals at CVS. I wish Rite Aid would follow suit.

          • kindlechic

My thoughts exactly. I only shop for my husband and myself, and since we own a two bedroom townhouse I couldn't stockpile, even if I wanted to. Sometimes I just go by the limit they say or by how many ECB's I've budgeted for that particular trip. I wish others were more considerate though. The new “Extreme Couponing” show is going to bring lots of attention to couponers come April. Should be very interesting.

          • happilysavingmoney

I agree, saw some lady buying up the canned drinks on week 2 carts full, and she owns a conv. store just 2 miles from the CVS. Isn't there a law against this?

    • Blingbeads1

I can never get the Home Solutions coupons to print. It says it doesn't support Windows 7. Any way to get them to print if I am running Windows 7?

      • anonymous

You can download Mozilla Firefox browser (it's free), and it should work with that. That's what I have to do so I can print them.

        • happilysavingmoney

I tried that and no luck even contacted them, got no response back.

      • Anonymous

I have had problems too and I’m using Firefox. I contacted them too. Sounds like they don’t want our business!

    • Cindycberg

Does anyone know what the “booklet in select PG products is????

      • Rachel797

There are several proctor and gamble products that have coupon books in them. They are marked on the package. The coupons aregood ones.

        • Mel

I got one in a pack of duracell batteries

          • Cindycberg

Thanks Mel. I will start looking:)

        • Cindycberg

Rachel, How did you find them…just looking on any PG product in CVS?

          • Mlaurie406

I also got one in a package of Charmin. It says right on the package that is has $20 or 25 in coupons :)

        • Priscilla

Pretty sure I saw it on a box of Pampers too, when I didn't need any at the time…

    • Kt

I am wondering if anyone else running into a problem with CVS not having the advertised sale items, even on the day that the sale starts. This has happened on several occasions at different CVS stores. I know that they can't be sold out at 8am on Sunday morning many times in a row. It is really frustrating. I know that I can get a rain check on Thursday, but I really want to buy it the day it is on sale.

      • JO

Yes Went in MOnday for Purex Crystals softener and they did not have it. Said it would come on truck on Wednesday.. I went back and it did come on Wednesday and that was the first ones they had… so they never had any on Sun through Tues. The stocker told me this to my face.

        • Kt

I was in there tonight and there were no Purex Crystals. Not even a spot for them. I also looked at 3 different CVS stores for the Garnier face stuff that was on sale for “$5, same thing though. Not a single one to be found. And tonight i went for the toilet paper and paper towels so I could get the $10 ECBs, but imagine that, they didn't have any! And Ihave been in a CVS every day since the sale started. Uggh

          • BdaJda06

Same thing happening at my local CVS too…it makes me feel better to know that it is everywhere and not just my store!! Thanks for sharing

          • FreedomSpradley1

I usually call before going if it's a hot sale item because it is very frustrating to drive by and then find the product isn't available.

      • gwhiz

I had the same problem and can relate to wanting to buy it on the same day, my goodness with gas prices the way they are, I don't like having to go out twice :)

        • coolgirl

I did the same thing a few months ago with a Walgreens special. I went back to that store 4 times in one week and they never had the item. As I was complaining to the cashier about this problem, she suggested that I call ahead next time. That's when I realized… I had a phone! Why was I driving to this store to check for an item?

      • Eibeachbabe

oh yes they have been out of the toms toothpaste since it went on sale how many weeks ago and everytime I go back they are still out

      • Amanda

I have been even having trouble finding sale items after the sale with rainchecks. This happened with the Purex 3-in-1 and Folgers coffee. Usually with rainchecks, I can go the next week and get what I want. I even checked two stores, both were out. Finally got the Purex.

        • happilysavingmoney

I had to get a rain check on Sunday for the Purex 3 in 1, the warehouse was sold out. Thursday went to another CVS the next town over and they had them in stock along with all the sales items, just depends on the location of the stores. This store is in a high economic area so they don't shop the coupons sales the cashier told me. Will be visiting this store more in the future.

      • Bauercandace

If you are in one of the stores that begins their sales on Saturday night, then it is very possible that they sold out of the item the evening before. Check with your store to see if their sales are switching on Saturday- mine switches by 6pm, and the store is packed shortly after with all of us couponers! Hope this helps!

        • Madpaulmom

My store used to start their sales on Saturdays at 3pm. A few weeks ago, there was a great deal on a certain type of Listerine mouthwash. My daughter and I went up there at 4 to get the deals and they had none. I just figured I was late and someone got them before me. We bought some other things and when I was checking out, I found out they changed the Sunday sales start time to 6pm on Sat evenings. This means that all who bought the Listerine did not get the sale, or they were not stocked at all. I am thinking they weren't stocked since they had none the rest of the week.

      • Emma Plate

Yes, and it makes me so mad.

      • Cjbrock43

You can ask for rainchecks…they can still give you the ECB after the sale is over and the item restocked.

      • Kelli

Greedy shelf cleaners have been cleaning out my shelves by Friday night. It's getting ridiculous. The manager said they are here waiting when the truck comes in and as soon as they get products on the shelf, they've already filled their carts and cleaned the shelf off.

      • Anonymous

You can ask them when they get their truck for the week and go that day. Mine get a truck on Thursday so if I can’t get there on Monday or Tuesday I go on Thursday or Friday.

    • Anna

There is a $3 Dulcolax printing at the scanner making it a money maker— and on the Phy. Formula makeup- wait on more week and there is a $7 ECB when you buy it making it a money maker on a lot of items

      • Burroughs85

Oh thanks so much for the heads up on Phys. Formula. Where do you find the up-up-coming week deals if you don't mind me asking? It would certainly help in planning!

        • Danyeln

You can usually find them about a week out at a site called I heart CVS.

          • Burroughs85

            Oh thanks so much!

    • Ptogroup

Just an observation. I have been couponing now for a little over two years, and it has been wonderful for my budget and a blessing for our family. However, lately printing coupons before they reach their run limit has been trying to say the least, especially with coupons on Facebook.

I am hoping the companies will realize that as the economy worsens, and the gas prices rise, more and more people will shop with coupons, and take steps to increase their run amounts according. We can only pray and hope.

      • Lonestar9

Absolutely!!! I miss out on more coupons than I can count when they have run out…but not always, so I keep on trying!

      • Aklholl

It's also hard since most of the coupons go live while I work and are gone by the time that 3:15 bell rings and I get out the door! I've heard a lot from people who have been couponing for several years that the Qs are getting smaller in value and expire sooner. Sad.

    • Araepatterson17

Okay I have met my limit on Irish Spring and Crest/Oral B (thats what they told me and it was on the bottom of my receipt) when does this go away. Will I ever be able to buy items and get ECB's if I have met the limit on them? I dont get it!!!

      • Sarah

Your limit is per week. Your card tracks your spending and it resets each week for the new sale cycle.

        • Araepatterson17

Thanks sooo much…I was confused and you are the first person to respond to me ever on this site!!! Thanks! Do you happen to know about the Garnier Fructis cp that was in RP 3/6 i looked in mine and didnt have one…

          • Some coupons are regional so you may not have received it.

            • happilysavingmoney

              I didn't get them either. :(((

          • mel

I have a ton of them. Would you like me to send you some? Let me know and I can do it ASAP.

    • Sarah

LOVIN all of the freebies this week!!!

    • Brodie_kathy

Regarding: “-$5 off Renu solution twin pk., 12 oz PRINTABLE”. The $5 coupon wasn't available anymore. I could print a $2off/12oz Renew Fresh or Sensitive which expires 6/16/11.

    • Brodie_kathy

Pretty ill about the Rewards Bank printable for $1off Coke. I hadn't heard of it before so I had to sign up. Facebook registration doesn't work. Then I spent an hour trying to figure out how to earn enough points to print out my coupon. The max I could get was 60 points and the coke coupon was 75 points. Totally not worth this if you aren't already a user of RewardsBank.

I'm not sure I would take a “homeopathic” remedy, even if it was free.

      • Sarah

        um, why?

      • Sheila

Do you know what homeopathic means?

        • gwhiz

          LOL :)

          It means it’s water.

      • Anonymous

It just means it’s made with natural ingredients, not the junk that’s in regular medicine (don’t get me wrong, I take that too but in moderation). I’d rather take a homeopathic remedy than medicine anytime if it works!

I have a few questions about the “magic red machine” coupons.

      1. Can you stack the CVS coupons with a manufacturer Q?

      2. If I go twice in ONE week and scan my card at the “magic red machine” will I get multiples of the coupons I got on my previous visit? Or no coupons at all?

      3. Do the Q always expire the next week?

      • Sarah

        1. Yes, you can use one CVS and one MQ per item
        2. It will print coupons each day (you can keep scanning your card each time you go in until it says “try again tomorrow”) for coupons. Something will print each day, no guarantee which ones.
        3. Expiration dates vary

    • Lifewithyould

can i use the $1 off coupon and the bogo coupon to get 2 reach toothbrushes for free?

      • Sarah

Yes, you can use a bogo and then a manufacturer coupon on the item you BUY

      • Jen

Be sure to give the $1 Q first.

    • Couponing Rocks!

I had a great couponing day today. I went to CVS & the red box gave me 5 off 25. If everything goes according to plan, this Sunday will be my first trip where I actually will make some money on the transaction and I'm only buying stuff I need! Then I went to Rite Aid and got some gain fabric softener on sale for 4.50 used a 3.00 coupon & 2.00 UP from previous visit. Got it and a cadburry egg for just the tax – .46! I've only been doing this for a couple of months, but am finally starting to see it pay off.

    • VENT….

VENT… You people that have 5 or 6 CVS cards are killing me. Every Saturday night, I watch a lady come into the local CVS and clean it out. This makes me so mad! At first, I didn't understand how she could have 3 buggys full (all of the sale stuff that I was looking for and couldn't find on the shelf) and then I watched her check out and use multiple CVS cards. She even went on to brag to the cashier about how she was never going to use all the stuff, she was going to donate what she didn't use. There are only a few of each item on the shelf so when you take more than your limit, it really hinders the other couponers who NEED the stuff that you are going to “donate.” If there were boatloads of these items then I wouldn't have a problem with this type of behavior but please think about what you are doing to the rest of us. You are hurting those of us who are making a valid effort to try to help ourselves financially. If you really want to shop that way to “donate,” please put an order in to management so you don't wipe out the shelves in one trip and ruin it for the rest of us. The management at this store is very coupon friendly so I don't want to “complain” to them. If we aren't going to watch out for each other, then who is? All I am asking you to do is to be a little more considerate of your fellow couponers. And yes, I am aware that you can get rain checks for things but it is very frustrating to have a trip planned for things you need and come out empty handed almost every time. It's also frustrating to deal with rain checks because by the time the item(s) come in, the coupon that made it free is expired, etc.

Love this site Jenny. Thanks for all you do!

      • Amanda

Call CVS corporate. More than one card per household is not allowed.

        • Geff

Husband and wife can each have a card.

Yes, Husband and Wife can each have a card but they should have the same number…hence ONE PER HOUSEHOLD….which would include husband, wife, children, etc. That way the limit is still the same whether the husband or wife use their card. Those that have more than 1 card are lying about their address, etc.

        • Shanna79

It clearly states in their rules that only ONE CVS card per household is allowed, so how can they do nothing about someone coming and clearing the shelves with multiple cards? Someone like that could at least be more considerate by going to multiple stores instead of cleaning one out. Rude people!

          • cassia2

Actually, I think this is a new rule. I seem to remember that it used to be one per adult, so someone could have a card for husband, wife, and any adult children in the household and still be within the rules. The limit of one card per household appears to be new as of this year, from what I can tell.

      • Kelli

I feel the same way- Coupons are great and Jenny helps us be frugal, but some people are just down right GREEDY. I hope stores don't start changing coupon policies because of a few bad eggs.

      • Geff

Actually, as long as you have the rain check, you can use the expired coupon… they will honor it.

        • Jules

CVS actually came out with an updated coupon memo a few weeks ago. All manf coupon have to be in date, raincheck or not. Extra bucks can be within a few days. As for the multiple extra care cards, the manager can't really do anything about that. You would have to call coporate on that one.

      • Skf

        Well said!!!!!

      • Jenn

Very well said! My CVS is the same way. There is a lady at my CVS that does the same thign and I fuss to my husband about it all the time. She has 4 or 5 CVS cards and about 3 buggys in tow! She wipes out the shelves of everything that is on sale and it is really uunfair. My CVS is NOT coupon friendly so I have asked them about it and they say there is nothing they can do about it. (This was the cashier, not the manager). I am in school fulltime and my husband is the only one that works, so I buy these items on sale with coupons to support my family. Like you, it makes me very mad when I go in and see this.

      • Lynn

I agree with you 100%. Thanks for writing it.

      • DebTN

Thanks for expressing what a lot of us feel. Very well said.

      • Daisy

So true! Sometimes I spend a looong time gathering my coupons and making my lists just to get to the store and have the shelf empty. PLEASE TAKE OTHERS INTO CONSIDERATION!

      • melanie

I agree… there is a reason why there is a limit. cause one family wont need anymore in a one month time.

      • Jen

This is frustrating but ask for a raincheck. Our CVS doesn't give rainchecks until Thursday (which happens to be the day they restock) so i always try to go on Thursday or Friday so that they are restocked, and if they aren't, I can get a raincheck. Can you try another CVS? I live in a large city so there seems to be a CVS on every corner-that isn't the case for everyone.

      • gwhiz

That is insane! The cashiers should not allow that, I think it's great “if ” the items are truly being donated ,but mostly likely they are not. I see more and more that couponing has become an addiction for some people that have become hoarders. When people act this way and management has to be called, it ruins it for all of us and they begin putting limitations on coupons and then we all lose.

      • Blink_11

I agree. I don't ever have this issue at CVS, but Walgreens always is out of at least one thing on my list which ruins my whole scenario. I'll even go to other Walgreens and they'll be out too..this week was the Purex fabric softener, last week was Mr.Clean magic erasers….very frustrating! I think that's why CVS is better with their limits. I do have 2 CVS cards, but that's it – 2. I still have a TON of toothpaste, deodorant, shampoo, etc. AND I donate as well. So I think people like the lady you described have some kind of disorder or addiction (not the healthy kind WE have lol!) Anyway, I have problems keeping track of just 2 cards and all that comes with it, I can't imagine doing 5 or 6!

      • mamabelbel

It is wonderful for people to donate and I do it myself when I can, but what about families like mine who are barely making it but are just a tiny bit above most income limits for assistance. We can’t access these “donated” items but we can’t afford to buy them ourselves without these deals! This isn’t a hobby for me, this is survival. I am not buying makeup and candy (unless it is a free treat), I am trying to keep my family fed, clean, and healthy. It actually makes me sick to hear of people on tv with hundreds of boxes of cereal and years worth of toilet paper. I need some now. Coupons and bargain shopping make it possible for me to provide for my family in this tough time. Not sure if people think about this when they clean off shelves when they already have 2 years worth of it in their closets.

    • Mjkhsm

i have a question on the -$1 off Zest, Ivory or Safeguard body wash, bar or hand soap, Booklet in select PG products

my coupon only says zest and safeguard- so does that mean it wont work?

    • shale

i have been trying to figure out how you got .87 on transaction one. maybe it's late…or maybe i'm just dense but I am getting that the products cost you 26.92 and your coupon total is 21.25 that would make the total 5.67. please help….

      • Blondieboo

        I'm getting $.88 lol. $22.13 in products & $21.25 in coupons

      • renamac

Jenny used the 5 coupon for physicians formula that printed at the cvs machine and that's why it came to 87 unstead of 5.87

    • Teresa

Can I use the MM's B2G1 coupon with the CVS sale B2G1 and get 2 free?

      • Mjkhsm

        yes

    • whatshername

I printed one of the Nature Made coupons and it says “Redeemable at Wal-Mart”. I didn't realize it was going to say that before I printed it. Will CVS except this?

      • Carverdolly5

if it has a 9 or 5 at the beginning of the coupon bar code it is a manufacture coupon and you can use it anywhere no matter what is on it, walmart, walgreens

        • whatshername

Ok, so 9 or 5 mean manufacturer coupon. That's interesting. I was in Rite Aid earlier this week and had a manufacturer coupon from Walgreens (it printed out with my RRs) for $1.50 off when you buy 3 boxes of General Mills cereal. They happen to have cereal on sale so I wanted to use it, but the cashier at Rite Aid said they couldn't take it. I guess I should have spoken up. I'm new to this, so I'm learning something every day. Thanks!

        • Donna

So…all the “TARGET WEB COUPONS” that start with 9856 are actually mfg coupons? Some from the Target site print Mfg and some print Target…keeps this newbie guessing.

          • Kmattern

I'm pretty sure it depends on the coupon..the ones that say Target Store Coupon are for Target use only (unless you have a store that takes competitor's Q's). The ones that say ManQ are actual manufacturer's coupons and can be used anywhere.

      • Lindashopswell

CVS would not let me use a mq last week because it said redeem at Walgreens. I think the cashier was just being difficult. Oh well!

    • 3monkeysmom

So sad :( I got an email survey from CVS Advisory Panel (these are so rare, I can't even remember the last time I got one!!) and when I clicked the link, it told me they had already had enough people complete the survey…
Email time stamp shows they sent it after midnight!! So apparently there are alot of night owls or very early risers for them to have already had enough participants :-P

    • Aklholl

It's also hard since most of the coupons go live while I work and are gone by the time that 3:15 bell rings and I get out the door! I've heard a lot from people who have been couponing for several years that the Qs are getting smaller in value and expire sooner. Sad.

    • carrie

I'm hesitant to buy any Crest Pro-Health products after reading a negative comment about them on this site last week (possibly CVS's comments section from last week's ad?). I read this while I in the middle of using the Pro-Health toothpaste myself and so far I haven't had any negative effects but I was wondering about other people's experiences. I don't even want to get it for free and give it to the local food bank if it's going to cause brown spots to appear on people's teeth.

      • Priscilla

I read that last week too and was wondering the same thing. I hope someone has some feedback!

        • Kristy

Thank you all for sharing. I love the 3-d night time toothpaste & was planning to try the rinse. Won't after reading this.

          • Syndilew

I had read this in earlier blogs so I just got the floss for free. HTH

      • Jody

I read something about that to but thought it was the mouth wash / rinse.

      • couponmonster

It was probably me…I only used the pro-health mouthwash not the toothpaste, so I cannot speak for the toothpaste…however, I still have brown spots on my teeth and have discontinued use of the wash. I contacted my dentist and hygienist told me to come in for a cleaning. There is a “warning” label on the mouthwash bottle addressing the “side effects”. Also, one can look at the hundreds of reviews on crest pro-health mouthwash on amazon. It may not happen to everyone, but it sure did to me! I feel that I have good brushing/cleaning habits and attend the dentist 2x/year. I've never had an issue until using this wash. HTH.

        • carrie

This is what scares me about using it, even for free.

          • couponmonster

well since I got it for free from CVS earlier this year, I didn't feel so bad dumping it down the drain …but, I just hope it comes off at my next cleaning…I just hope it doesn't cost me more in the long run since I don't want to have to pay extra to get it removed!!

      • leigh

hmmm, i haven't heard anything. I personally don't like the toothpaste. I think it leaves a weird film in my mouth, like a string-y residue like an hour after i brush. It's gross. But I have been using the rise for about 3 weeks and really like it. I sure hope i don't see brown spots!!!! interested to hear what others think / say.

        • carrie

This is interesting. I had not made a connection (I'm slow with my connections, sometimes) before your post, but lately (maybe since I started this tube of Pro-Health?) I've also had a “film” inside my cheeks that can literally be peeled off. I honestly thought it was from lathering my lips with lipcream right before bed. But I have been doing this to my lips every night for a few years and I've only noticed this “film” for a few weeks. Anyway, I can tolerate that, I'm really more concerned about getting brown spots on my teeth from either the toothpaste or the rinse. Thanks for your reply, you made the light bulb go off in my head!

      • Fullpricehurts

My m-n-l won't use it because it made brown areas on her teeth. Her dentist told her that it reacts this way with some people and has no effect on others. I suppose it just depends on your personal body chemistry.

      • Caroline

I know someone that got actual burns on her gums from using the toothpaste. I had a box I'd gotten for free from CVS and it's sitting in my donation box right now after hearing that story!

      • Awesomebc

It does say on the bottle that some individuals may have a problem with staining when using the product. I have been using it for a while and have not had any problem at all. I really like the product.

EMERALD nuts coupon- I could not, for the life of me, get this coupon! I played the stinkin' games, gave all of my info, voted for some random thing I didn't even understand….what's up?!?!

      • Priscilla

I saw someone post earlier that it's a popup so you need to have your popup blocker off for it to work. Hope that helps.

      • Wdra0632

They were in the 3/13 paper, can't remember if it was RP or SS.

    • Patricia M

Which P&G products have the coupon booklet inside?

      • Chele17rene

Found them in the batteries from last week!

    • Maeghansmom

I cannot find the Nestle Pure Life coupon!

    • firstbrownie

There is a $1 q for the Colgate 360 toothbrush in the latest edition of All You (April).
Just used it today to make the toothbrush free.

    • The “Bigger Scenerio” would be great … if only I had the -$4 off $20 purchase (from Weight Watcher’s meeting 3/8)

I'm not a member of WW, so chances of me having that Q aren't possible. :-(

    • millie

check your emails, i (thankfully) check mine real quick and found a $5/$25 cvs coupon good through tomorrow. yayay!

      • DebTN

I got one too! Woo hoo! Going to be a great trip tomorrow … assuming I get there before the flea market ladies.

      • msivory20

Used mine tonight! Just remember its the before tax total that must add up to $25.

      • Karen

I got that coupon too, but it said not good on sale items. If I'm understanding that right, that means nothing in the ad, so I guess I won't be using it.

    • Slgumm

      I am so excited! I'm new to couponing, and I got one of the best deals today at cvs! They had various shampoos and conditioners marked 75% off. I got (2) 25 oz. Garnier conditioners,(1) 13 oz.Garnier antri-dandruff shampoo, (3) 12 oz. Dove conditioners, (1) 25 oz. Pantene shampoo, (1) 25 oz. Pantene conditioner, and (1) 12 oz. Head & Shoulders shampoo. I used (2) $1 Pantene q's, (1) $1 Garnier q, (1) $1 H&S q, and a $2 ecb. Grand Total: $8.86, a savings of 86%!!

    • Janice

Where do I find the Get More From Your Pharmacy booklet? I've never seen one.

    • Tabi

I couldn't get the nestle water coupon :(

    • Christy

I just went to my local CVS (Bradenton, FL) expecting to be able to get the Cottonelle tp tonight and was told they no longer change prices on Saturday for their Sunday sales. They are a non 24 hour store. Prices won't be in effect until tomorrow. Disappointed as my ecbs expire today. I'll have to rethink my plan and go back tonight.

      • Leandralivesay

You might consider asking them to take the ECBs anyway. I had some that expired a few days before and the girl at check out (not always the easiest to work with) “pushed” them through anyway!

        • Christy

good to know for the future…thanks!

      • Wdra03632

They will still take your ECB's tomorrow had this happen before and they still took them the next day.

    • Krystyna

Question on the allegra…I have (4) $2.00 off coupons I do see where the ECB is limit one….is there a trick where I can get a good deal on these….I really need lots of allegra lol

      • jennaj81

without going crazy with 4 Extra Care cards you could just buy 4. Your total after ecb's would be $12.64. You may do better using your coupons at Publix along with the $5 coupon they have in store. I'm not sure of their price though. There is also a $4 coupon available for the bigger boxes. Not sure if I helped much, but that's all I can figure.

        • jennaj81

I should have said your total after ecb's and coupons…sorry

        • Drhako

sign up for the pollen count on their website and they will email you a $2 off 30ct or 45ct. It doesnt work w the ecb this week because cts are different but can be combined w mfq

    • jennaj81

Just compared last week's Crest Pro-Health deal with this week's and found the deal # to be different. Last week was 11245853 and this week is 11345853. Sooooooooo it should be a new deal.

      • Sillysnicks

Thanks! I didn't go tonight just to make sure the over-lapping deals saturday/sunday were the same or would cause confusion.

    • KA

careful with the crest pro-health toothpaste, i thought I had the exact one from the picture (gum protection), but it rang up 4.99 with no ECBs :( didnt realize it until i got home, i will be returning it tomorrow though!

    • Hael80

I received my home made simple Organize in Style coupon book. It did not have the $1/Dawn plus Olay q in it. Did everyone else get this q?

      • DianaY19

NO, my did not either. Must be a typo

      • sarahcas

Some of the old versions had that coupon. The new ones don't. They just have a 25 cent off any dawn product coupon, I think.

    • faith

If I received an ECB for an item, can I turn around and use the ECB for that item and received another ECB?

      • Aimee

Yes and no. If it says “Limit 1”, then no, because the ECB reward is limit one per card or household. If 2 people live in the same household and have 2 separate cards, then only 1 will be able to get the deal. If it says “Limit 2, 3, etc”, then you can “roll' your first ECB to get the same deal again. Hope that helps. However, you can still use an ECB for one product to buy the same product again, whether there's a limit or not.

        • faith

Thank you. Wish walgreen's would do the same.

          • Aimee

Your welcome. Also, FYI, Rite Aid works basically the same way as CVS, not sure if you knew. Good luck!

            • faith

Aimee I wasn't aware. Rite aid is about 20 min ride trying to figure is it worth driving to it. I have a 5 dollar off coupon so I might go sometime next week. Now if I can find some coupons for my cruise payment..lololo

    • Leaz

Not sure if this has been posted already, but the emerald nuts on sale are under 5oz so the $1 cpn won't work. Use those cpns at Publix this week instead!

      • OMG !! that ruins my senerio. ugg And I'm to tired to fix it right now, Thanks for the Heads up…

    • Sue Mckellar

Husband did a run to CVS this evening for ear plugs for son. When he checked out, a CVS coupon printed out for $5 off purchase of $15 or more. It's only good for 3 days starting tomorrow. Another one printed for $4 off any $20 Facial Skin Care purchase. Always love the extra surprise when getting a coupon you weren't expecting. Not sure if these are printing for everyone or not.

      • Melanie M

Hi Sue – I got the $4 off $20 facial care and combined it with the B1G1 Biore coupon in the 3/06 SS. Worked like a charm. Ended up paying a little over $12 for $25+ worth of merchandise.

    • msivory20

Oh holy moly!!! I've learned my lesson about not using certain cashiers. If I encounter this lady again, I'm just going to leave and come back another day. She out-right refused to give me a rain check for the $1 Reach toothbrushes (our ad starts Sat. at 6pm). There were none in the store, and she said that its not store policy to give rainchecks on something they don't carry and/or don't have room for. I was like “Are you serious?”. Its in the ad!!!! They will be here at some point in the future, lady!!! Of course I didn't actually say that ;) but I was soooo thinking it.

      • Jules

If there isn't a place on the shelf for it, then the store won't get any if it's not a regular item. So, even if she did give you a raincheck, it would be useless. Not all stores carry all products in the ads.

        • Tiff715

Correct, she would not be able to use the rain check in that store, but her rain check is good for EVERY CVS store so there has to be a store somewhere with what she is looking for

          • JO

The cashier wasnt totally correct.Last week they didnt have a spot for Purex Crystals Softener on Sunday. I went back on Wednesday and asked about it . The gentleman stocker went to the back and found some, said it had just come in on the truck , and that theydid not have a spot for it yet, but would be making one. SO the cashier does not always know whats coming in later. DEmand a rain check .

            • msivory20

that was my thought exactly…I’m still hoping some of that 99 cent Theraflu will show up on the truck some day because I got a raincheck for that :) My point is that even if they don’t regularly carry it, why does it hurt to give a raincheck if they might carry it soon?

    • Karen Armstrong

I am having a hard time finding the Physicians Formula cosmetic coupon in the SS 3/20. Am I just overlooking it?

      • Dempseygang

Have you already got the coupons from this Sunday's paper? It is only just now 3/20…

        • Karen Armstrong

Yes. They put them out at Kroger the day before. I get everything ready the day before for my shopping on Sunday, after church or Monday morning.

    • Mlaurie406

Okay, sharing my plan (2nd week of full on CVSing for me!). I'm trying to only get stuff I *need* like the cleaning supplies and foldgers, so here's what I came up with. DISCLAIMER—I rounded up a penny on most of these just for quicker math…so I may be off a tad! I'll throw in some cheaper fillers (like some VO5, maybe? I can always use shampoo!) if I need to :)

Doesn't leave much for ECB next week, but I'm sure I will be able to pick some up! Saving my $5 off pfc for that purpose!

      Trans. 1-
      4 Clorox wipes – $8
      2 Clorox clean-up – $5
      1 Pine Sol – $2
      1 Dawn – $.97
      1 Ivory bar soap – $.99
      2- Reach floss -$2
Plus a filler….2.XX (or something else that will get me some ECB's, not sure yet!)

      -$7 in coupons
      -$4 (4 off 20)
      -$10 ECB

      due $0/tax, get $5ECB

      Tran 2-
      Allegra – $7

      -$2 coupon
      -$5 ECB

      due $0/tax, get $7ECB

      Trans 3-
      2 Phys. Formula – $8ish??
      Foldgers – $6

-$6 pfc coupon from red box
      -$1 Foldger's coupon
      -$7 ECB

      due $0/tax, get $1ECB

      • Etan999

does anyone know how to get the pg booklet? im lost on that..

        • Danyeln

The $110 Booklet that is always referred to was a rebate item at the end of last year; you spent so much on P&G items and mailed of receipts to get the booklet.. They gave out a few more to Facebook fans several weeks ago too. If you'll watch, Jenny will usually mention when they are available to get so that everybody gets a heads up on them.

          • foximoxie

Hey thanks I was wondering that for weeks now also and keep forgetting to ask

            • Hjdapples

you also can get some of the extra P & G coupons through Home Solutions sometimes too. Sign up to get their email

      • Etan999

how do you get the 4 off of 20 coupon and the red box..im lost also cant seen to find a pg booklet either…in need of some pointer..love CVS

        • DebTN

The red box is just a hit or miss thing. Lately all I've gotten are candy coupons from it. I did get a $3 off $25 by email. You can register your card at CVSdotcom for that. The P&G mailer was available last fall and again several weeks ago through facebook. If you have FB you can 'like' P&G and that way you will know if they offer them again.

    • Jem

If you have coupons and multiple transactions, please do not wait until 10 mins before the store closes to go in and start your shopping. This is extremely rude to the employees. You need to go in at least 30 mins before the store closes to do coupons and/or multiple transactions. The employees do not want to be there 20+ mins after the store closes waiting for you to dig through your coupons. I use coupons and sometimes have multiple transactions, but I go to the store early enough not to hold anyone up. You never know when someone has called in sick and the employee ringing you up has been there working 12 hours to cover a shift. The last thing they want is for a coupon person to come in right at close. By not doing this, you'll probably get better customer service and you won't have to rush through your transactions. Have a little consideration for others please. You wouldn't want someone doing that to you if you worked there.

      • Ddech

I don't understand why you would need cheap fillers.

        • DebTN

Sorry – I think that may have posted in the wrong place…? Meant it A's a reply to mlaurie406.

        • Mlaurie406

Well, for the first trans, it's just because I need to get my total up to $21 to use all of my coupons. Otherwise it is just because I did some quick math, so If I needed to spend an extra dollar, so something, I'll do so. Or, for example, if I spend less than $8 on pfc, or I have .25-.50 left in my ECB's to use. This happened last time I went, so I threw in a .50 cent item and was good to go!

I'm still new at this, so I haven't perfected my CVSing yet!!

        • gwhiz

If you are using ECB's you have to have equal the amount or more – if you have $21 ECB's and your total is $20.50 you have to buy something else, they won't give you .50 cents back. Hope that helps :)

      • Cand8856

thank you sooo much for the post …i work there and i coupon too so i know sometimes it can be a long process………

      • foximoxie

        Good advice

    • Bjm99

I need help can't find the ALL PHYSICIAN'S FORMULA coupon in 3-20. Thanks

      • It's regional, a lot of us didn't get it…

        • Syndilew

I didn't get any Suave qpons at all in my paper. I bought it this week specifically for all of the kids shampoo and didn't get any.

          • Ami Gray

If you want them I can send them to you. give me ur email

    • foximoxie

Hi..where can I find the Starbucks Coupon booklet and the Fall Grape Magazine? Thanks!

      • Anonymous

It’s a free magazine by Publix. You can sign up for one on their website as long as you have the store in your area.

    • foximoxie

Also can a CVS pro tell me what is the best order to scan my coupons? Last night I had some manufacturer coupons, some ECB, a 20% off entire purchase coupon and a $5 off $15 purchase coupon. My cashier started scanning my manf coupons first but I told him I'd rather he scanned the 20% off coupon first since it would be more beneficial to me but he said it wouldn't make a difference. I don't think that's true. So please let me know the best order in this situation or any..thanks!

      • Phatpatswife

The cashier was correct. The % off coupon will readjust at the end of the transaction once all other coupons are taken off. You will get % off on the amount you are actually spending out of pocket.

      • Amy J.

as far as which coupon to use first, i'd give the cashier the $5 off $15 first…..then any other coupons after that, then ECB's.

      • That is what is so Good at CVS you dont have to think about orders, Cashier was correct… :)

    • Kim

Was the $5.00 off Physician's Formula coupon in 3/20 SS supposed to be in EVERY SS in EVERY part of the country? None in mine = (

      • Tiff715

        many coupond are regional

      • KellieTX

Mine was only for $1 off :-(

    • Jodie

No physicians formula in the AJC this week. Must be regional

      • Jeri

Not in mine either (Charlotte area)

      • tina

wasn't in the montgomery, alabama paper either;(

      • Marglenna

        Nope…not in Nashville, either

      • :( Argh!! My paper (the St. Petersburg Times) didn't have it either!! Bummer!!

      • Jen

        Not in Greenville either :(
I was looking forward to this one.

      • Mari

Not in Miami, FL just $1 off

      • Rhonda

No PF coupons in Charlotte Observer either! :-(

        • Laurenludlam

          I Know… and I bought 2 COs thinking that would be a GREAT dael! : (

    • msivory20

If you have the CVS $6 off Phys. Formula then that makes the mascara FREE :) + tax

      • I was so excited! I got that deal too. Nice to get makeup for free. Especially now that it has gotten so expensive! :)

        • msivory20

Absolutely, esp. since I actually needed it now! I had 2 random $1 off manu/ q's as well so I got the mascara and concealer for about $3 after tax :)

    • If you have the Kraft book from BiLo you can use the $.75 off coupon on the Nabisco crackers on sale that is with the $5 ECB WYB $15 drinks and snacks pictured: Wheat Thins, Triscuits, Ritz, 6-12 oz,

    • tnchickadee

anyone know how to find the clorox coupon on coupons.com?

    • tnchickadee

anyone know how to find the clorox coupon on coupons.com?

    • Couponing Rocks!

Had a great couponing day. My plan was to get three things at CVS & they had all 3! Here's how it went.

      Buy:
      Renu Multipack Contact Solution 12.99
      Zantac 75 8.99
      Allegra allergy 6.99
      Total 28.97
Use 5 off 25 coupon from red box (5.00)
      $5.00 Zantac coupon (5.00)
      $5.00 Renu coupon (5.00)
      $2.00 Allegra coupon (2.00)
      Total before tax 11.97
Use 10.99 ECB from last week (10.99)
      Total OOP before tax .98
      Tax 2.22
      Total OOP 3.20

      Received 12.99 in ECB.

Then to top it all off, I got another 5 off 25 from the magic redbox!

      • DebTN

        Great trip! :)

    • Saven

Can anyone tell me where/how to get the “get more from your pharmacy” booklet? TIA

      • Tiff715

At my store I saw them in the pharmacy area next to the counter

    • Twinmomaaa

I got my first $5 off $25 sent to my email. It says not good on sale items though….so does that refer to pretty much everything on this list? Even the things that just give ECBs?

      • Tiff715

No you can still get ECB when you use that Q

    • AD

It's a shame that my local paper didn't have the Schick coupons, or much of anything else in the way of coupons, for that matter. (My local paper is a joke!) But, the Intuition deal is still a good one, even without the coupon.

    • Julie

The Emerald Nuts Snack Pack that is on sale for $1.00 is only 3.5oz, so the coupon listed won't work for those.

      • faith

Not realize it I was able to use 5 coupons.

    • Paarsec

Several of the coupons in my RP and SS were different from those listed above, i.e. no B1G1 Suave, and my Folgers/Maxwell House cpns were $1/2 not $0.75/1. Do cpns vary by region? I am in New England.

      • Yes they do seem to vary by what region you are in. I try to by my local paper and then buy a larger city paper close by. I too have run more recently into my region being different from what Jenny has listed. They are still great deals usually just a little different. :)

    • Paarsec

On a plus note, I've gotten a $10 off $50 CRT last week and another $10 off $50 spit out of the cpn printer today. Has anyone noticed more of these $XX off $XX cpns recently?

      • Kim_matt_miller

Yes–I've gotten 3 $4 off of $20 in the past week, which work out great cause it's $20 before coupons.

    • Sdanorth

I've always been happy with my outcome at CVS, but this week they totally blew my scenario out of the water with their ridiculous lack of Suave products. Very disappointed. It wasn't an issue of a hoarder getting the jump on me, either. The only styler they had was hair spray, and only two flavors of body wash. I managed to find $12 in products to get the extrabucks, but I didn't come close to getting the list of products I thought I'd be leaving there with.

      • Dianne N

Just curious….how does the body wash taste? I usually buy scented, not flavored! hee hee! ;P

        • faith

          Taste or smell?????..lol

        • Sdanorth

LOL… I used to work at Bath & Body Works, and we always referred to them as “flavors”! Old habits are hard to break!

      • faith

        Same here…

      • Kim_matt_miller

Agree. And they didn't have any kid suave products either. :(

    • Dianne N

Anyone who has ordered coupons from Recyclebank that have to be mailed……does it really take 7-10 days to get them? I'm hoping for the Coke one for this week. There was the $1 off one and then another for a free Coke 2L when you buy one, so two for free.

      • Wdra03632

If I were you I would get a rain check on those Cokes took 2 weeks for my q to arrive.

    • Cayoung_8

The magic coupon machine at CVS is awesome, but I never seem to get the good coupons others get. I hear about these great coupons so I go out of my way that day to stop by and scan and mine will be like 25 cents of when you buy 2 m & ms or something. Is there a trick to getting the great coupons? Do they print according to how much of a valued customer you are or something because mine always seem to be puny LOL

      • Cluckie

Was wondering the same thing. I think the better you are at couponing and the more you save, the less they think you need the really worthwhile coupons. I usually spend less that $2 oop (and that's mostly tax), and rarely have less than $30 worth of merchandise. Any other theories?

      • Amy J.

It seems like it's based a little on spending and also some of those coupons out of the magic machine seem to be regional…..for example, i don't seem to get the q's like the Physicians Formula but a few weeks ago i did get a good Revlon one, so it does seem to be hit and miss with those. I seem to get q's like the one you mentioned most of the time……but when i do get a good one, it's cause for coupon celebration. LOL!

      • Brooke

I just posted the same thing!!! haha I went today and got the .25 cents off the chocalate….1 off starbucks…and some other crappy coupons….I thought the same thing…do I have to be Queen CVS to get the good ones???? hahaha

      • Wdra03632

I got a great coupon at the red box today, all week it has been $.25 off candy, today I got free salsa or cheese with 2 tostios purchase, since they are on sale 2/$6 and i have coupons will be a sweet deal.

      • msivory20

My sis is a Pharm. employee at CVS and has worked there about 2 years. I had her buying diapers for me with her discount several months ago, and now she randomly gets good diaper coupons to print from machine or even on her receipt. I, however, get the same stupid candy coupons even though I have been coupon-ing for about 3 months and have bought lots of diapers. I'm guessing patience will pay off eventually :)

    • CCShad

The coupon for Suave kids is a better deal in my area – Charleston Post and Courier. .50/1 instead of .50/2

    • Christyhoward83

How do you get the redbox coupons?

      • KellieTX

You just take your CVS card to the price scanner in the store, scan it and it will print out coupons. :-)

    • Binker269

Would I be able to use a $5 off $15 and a $3 off $10 of baby products together?

      • msivory20

I think their policy is only one $ off $$ coupon for like products per transaction. Doesn't hurt to ask though :)

    • faith

I have several huggies coupon that came in today's paper if anyone in the Greenville area would like them. I can leave them at the library…let me know

    • Had a really nice CVS trip today.
I did one order as follows:
      2 Mitchum Deodorant @ $1.99 (-$.75 q x 2) = $1.24 ea
      2 Suave Deodorant @ $1.00 (- $.50 q x 2) = $.50 ea
      2 Glide Satin Floss @ 3.49 (-.$.75 q x 2) = $2.74 ea (Got $5.00 ECB for this so $.48!)
      1 Schick Intuition Refill @ $8.79 (-$2.00 q) = $6.79 (Got $4.00 ECB so $2.79!)
      1 Allegra 5ct @ $6.99 – ($2.00 q) = $4.99 (got $6.99 ECB so Made $2!)
      2 Cadbury Eggs @ $.50 ea = $1.00
      1 Snickers Easter Minis & 1 Twix Mini = BOGO @ 4.79 (-$1.00 q) = $3.79

Had a $5 off $25 for CVS + used $12 of ECB that I had… Walked out spending $10.82 OOP, and have $15.99 in ECB for next time.

Also got a $5 off $15 to use this week and a $5 off 25 to use within the next two! LOVE IT!

    • Brooke

Ive just started couponing with CVS last week…ive scanned the red box twice now and haven't gotten squat…lol…how are you guys gettin these good coupons???

      • Brooke

Just saw a similar post and it kinda answered my question…ha…guess ill just keep tryin!

      • Jesse96

I read somewhere that since CVS tracks what you buy, you may get coupons to buy
more of the same. That explained why I have so many coupons for candy. :>)

        • jhoran

          Me, too!!!

      • mel

me too!!!! I went in there 4 days last week and got the same coupons just about everytime I went. Do some area give better coupons than others? I know that I don't get all the coupons that everyone else gets in the newspaper either. :(

      • Wpoovey

I would like to know, too. I get coupons from the red box on things I have never bought and never would.

    • Quilhil

Hi, can't find phys. formular mackup q in this weeks paper. Anyone know where it is located?

      • Jesse96

I was just going to type the same thing. It is not in the Greenville,SC paper.
        I “NEED” some.

I also can't remember the name of the most reliable clipping service so I can
        just buy the coupons.

        • faith

Jesse, I live in Greenville as well. No coupon in my paper I order several online would you like to chip in to cut the cost?

      • tina

i di not get it either and every coupon site i use does not have them nor do the whole coupon insert websites, i found some on ebay….

    • Macclennypta

Does anyone know a zipcode to use for the $1/2 Clorox toilet bowl cleaner?

    • Candice

Saved 98.3% before tax at CVS today! Before tax $.57, after tax $2.58. Got back $2 extracare bucks for next transaction too!
      Bought:
      3 Suave body washes
      Allegra 5 ct
      crest prohealth toothpaste
      pediacare cold medicine
      physicians formula makeup

    • Fallaya

Had a nice shopping trip this afternoon:

      Crest Pro-Health t.paste x 2
      Allegra 5ct
      2L Pepsi Max

      Used

      $2 Crest Pro Health t.paste coupon x 2
      $2 Allegra coupon
$1 2L Pepsi Max (CVS coupon)
      9 ECB's

Paid 67 cents, and received 12.99 ECB's (5, 6.99, 1 for scanning green tag for the 4th time).

    • Wdra03632

Went to CVS this moring at 8, they were out of the Crest $3.49, but they had last weeks Crest $2 get back 2ECB so they let me do this deal again, less out of pocket and still made the same amount, love it!!!!

    • Iheartthecoupons

Those Physicians Formulas q's are hard to find. Luckily I printed off tons of the pdf last week. Got some free concealer today.

      • Burroughs85

Was the pdf listed on this site? I guess it slipped by me:(

    • Jnee11502

Does anyone know if the Spartanburg Herald Journal coupons had the Schick coupons in them? The Greenville News didn't :(

    • jhoran

I thought the physician's formula coupon was supposed to be $5.00.. only 1.00

    • Gingiraffe

Anyone see why this wouldn't work:
CVS deal – Buy Olay ProX advanced cleansing system, get Olay Cleanser free
      Use:
      $3 off ProX
Use Buy One Olay Cleanser Get Olay body wash/bar/inshower lotion Free

So pay for ProX and get the other two items free.

      • wendyc33

well your getting the cleanser free, and not buying it. so it wont work. you can still use the 3.00 off pro x though.

        • Gingiraffe

Would this not be the same as using a buy one get one coupon with a buy one get one sale?

    • wendyc33

I can report some clearance stuff i found at my store. They had some energy bars 75% off, Headbands and hair clips 75%, i think goody brand. also zantac 150 75% off priced at like 1.24. good deal as zantac is not cheap. I also bought the allegra, oral b glide floss, and 1 listerine pocketpaks, paid with a 9.99 ecb, oop. 1.17 got back a 6.99 ecb, and 2.50 ecb. not too bad.

    • meme

I would like to know if anyone has used the Cobroxin and if it worked for you? Any side effects? Thanks for help. I am having to look for new pain meds as my prescribed one has been taken off the shelves.

      • Mcleodsc

Check the ingredients before you use if you have any allergies.

    • Mlm82lmm04

I am just getting started shopping at cvs. Why several transactions? Don't the workers get mad? Any pointers, shortcuts, advice of all sortts is much needed. Thanks

      • tina

by doing several transactions you use less real money and more cvs money (ecb)

      • JillMaeK

doesn't really get matter if they get mad. its their job to check people out. they're gonna be there and they're gonna be doing it anyway.

      • SEM

At my CVS in Jackson, Miss. the ladies are always so nice and helpful. As long you know how you want your transactions done, they are happy to do it for you. Just make sure you're organized. I always ask up front, “Do you mind if I pay for some of these separately?” They always say it's fine because they know how the game works. This only works thought if you are trying to roll ECBs.

      • Laura R

My cashiers ask me if I'm doing one or multiple transactions! They are GREAT! Also if there is a line, I go to the back of the line after each transaction.

    • Nkair19

Did anyone get the $7 coupon for the Aquify contact solution from the coupon machine at CVS? I scanned my card but I didn't get a coupon for Aquify.

    • Joa

does anyone know the zip for the $1/2 Clorox Toilet Bowl Cleaner w/ bleach or Clean-Up cleaner w/ bleach, printable?

      • Mlaurie406

        Wondering this too.

    • faith

Are we allowed to forward pd coupons if someone missed a special? Don't want to post anything without asking first.

    • JillMaeK

on the wheat thins deal….they're listed as 2 for $4. do you have to buy 2 or will 1 ring up as $2? thats how you listed your scenario but I just wanna make sure…

      • Isu2014

it will ring up as $2

    • Amber

I love Suave products, so I really want to do that deal. Can someone tell me how to use the B2G1 coupons though? If I have two coupons, I can get 6 body washes, right? I'm semi new to couponing, and have never done a B1G1 (or 2) deal before. Thanks in advance!

      • Amber

The other part I meant to ask was if the $2 for the free item counts toward my $12 needed to get the ECBs….anyone?

        • Meghan

Yes… you can get 6 body washes with two B2G1 coupons. Also, the free item does count towards the $12. So, if you buy 6 at $2 each, there's your $12, and you save $4. Hope that helps.

      • Laura R

Buy 1 (one) Suave invisible solid 1.4oz $1

    • R-brown

can you use more than one coupon for the same thing

      • msivory20

You are allowed one Store and one Manufacturer Q per item.

    • faith

Is it better to have like 2, 3, or 5 dollar ECB than 6, 8, or 10.00 ones? looking at next week add and don't see a way to get back my 12.00 (two 6 ECB) before they expire.

      • Jennififteen

the toothpaste are a good way to come close. there are specials on colgate ad crest so w/both you should get $9 back….maybe those and the allegra…even if you don't need those if you can round up coupons you should still come out ahead and not lose your ecbs.

        • faith

Jenn, thank you. I got the allegra this week. Hopefully next week I can find 2 physician formula items so I want loose my ECB.

      • Mamaberry

Smaller are usually better, BUT, if you have the larger ones, that's how you get the high dollar items 'free'. Use them on your necessities now. Like do you need toilet paper? or Paper towels? or diapers? something you can't wait for a 'sale' on? Use your ECB to buy your other necessities… or wants :) (think chocolate, soda… me it's chips… mmmm)

    • Fatmama185

what about the coffe 6.99 I have 1.00Qand get1.00 bucks back good deal?

    • Debhawie

I couldn't get the Nestle' Pure Life coupon, nor the Maxwell House printable coupon. Thanks for all the info. This site is fantastic – especially for new couponers like myself.

    • Tille

I did not have any coupons for the Listerine pocket packs but they were still a great deal with my card. Bought 5 packs for $5 plus tax and saved 17.45….WOW!

      • CCShad

That was a good deal b/c those packs are usually $4.50 each!

    • Marieperalez

will the P&G coupon for $1/1 for zest and safeguard work on the Ivory soap deal? It does not have the ivory logo on it. Thanks!

    • Laura R

      • Leticiag30

I just started couponing weeks ago, still don't understand how all this works. Did you buy everything at once or did u check out several times in order to get all the savings? So far I've just done simple transactions. This morning went to CVS found box with 12 bottles of Boost Plus on clearence from 17.99 to 12.99 I had a coupon for 1.50. (I have a girl that needs nutritional drinks to maintain her weight because she has Cystic Fibrosis CF) I hope to learn better how to coupon to get better deals.

look in the coupon database, there are lots of printables for ensure, some for boost, and I know that the boost facebook page has a new printable for $3 off kid's boost which can be found at target in the baby section. I wish I had known earlier, I would have sent you all my boost q's, but they expired 3/20:( and I had a ton of ensure q's a while back that I did not use. I'm a busy mom w/no time to sit down and eat, but it sounds like your girl needs them alot more! best of luck to you! god bless:)

          • Leticiag30

Thanks! I checked the coupon database and couldn't find Ensure Plus or Boost Plus. If anyone has these nutritional drinks (Boost or Ensure) coupons that they don't not need and would like to spare. I will gladly pay postage. Thanks

        • Candice

My daughter has low weight issues. Her doctor has her drinking pediasure (She is supposed to drink 3/day, but she is one of the few kids that dont like it). You can also use pediasure in recipes (Recipes are on the website and they can send you aditional ones in the mail if you call) I have actually made the pediasure pancakes as well as shakes. Also, if you call the company I believe they can send coupons, plus there was a coupon a few weeks ago in the paper for pediasure.

      • bingmom

You mentioned that the 50 cent Dawn coupon doubled — I thought CVS didn't double coupons. Is this just your store or have they changed the policy??

    • Babydoll 1999

Had a great trip. Total value 42.49, spent OOP 15.29. Got 3 ECB back.
      Got 6 Suave deo.
      2 Suave kids shampoo
      2 Suave professional
      1 Dawn
      1 Dulcolax
      1 Physicians concealer–no q :(
      1 Listerine pack
      1 Allegra
      1 Schick Quattro
      1 Colgate MaxFresh

I am pleased. Thanks Jenny for everything you do.

      • Babydoll 1999

Forgot to mention, the Dulcolax has a rebate on it but it expired 2/28/10, bummer.
Also there is a $1 off Colgate max fresh in SS today.

        • Cargrease79

I would call Dulcolax and ask them if they would still honor it since it was attached to the product in the store. In the past, they have been accomodating.

    • BEENEEGIRL24

WHAT IS A GOOD COUPON CLIPPING SITE?

    • acpack

Got a $2/any Nature Made Vitamins from the magic machine today.

    • R Dutka

The mars candy bars are B2G1 free, I also have a B2G1 free coupon. How does that work? Will you pay for 1 and get two free?

      • Mamaberry

        yes :)

    • Anon

Can I use a 25% coupon on items that are full price but that have extra care buck deals associated with them?

      • msivory20

My experience has been that No you cannot. The coupon is only good on plain ol' full price, regular stuff. Is that the understanding all of you more experienced Coupon-ers have? :)
That being said, you can still get some good deals if you have manu. q's combined with CVS q's (like the ones from the redbox).

      • Jamie

It depends on the store. I asked my cashier today and she said “sure.” It was awesome, since almost everything I bought was an ECB item. Just ask, it doesn't hurt.

      • foximoxie

I used my 20% off entire purchase coupon just last week on several ECB deals no problem :)

    • I'm new to using the coupon machine at CVS. Can anyone tell me how I'd for sure get the printable for the $7 off the contact lens solution? I thought they were targeted towards your spending. I don't want to waste my time prepping for the deal if it won't work, kwim?

      • DebTN

There's no way to predict what you'll get from the machine.

      • carrie

I didn't get the $7 contact lens solution Q not the $6 Physician's Formula Q. It's frustrating, I know! I always debate whether or not to prepare for the deal like I will get the Q from the red box because it seems like the majority of the time, I don't get the Q that others are getting (especially not the $ off of $, I have received 1 in the 1 1/2 years I've been doing this!!!)

    • faith

I will be away on sunday ad will not return until late sunday night. What day during the week to best check stores for sale stock items. Just have a feeling all of the physician formula items and ECB items will be gone if I wait until monday morning. What do you guys think. I live in upstate SC.

      • faith

        anyone?

        • Mcleodsc

          Rainchecks!

      • KellieTX

Well from what I hear, you can go to a NON 24 hour CVS on Saturday night after 6pm (the time may vary because it is basically whenever the manager get the computers udated) and they run both weeks sales in order to transistion smoothly for Sundays sales. I would scan items from the new sale to make sure they have updated their systems. HTH!

      • Val

Call your store and find out when they get a shipment because very store is different. If you are talking about next weeks PF deal the limit is one ECB per customer, so I'd be surprised if they run out of cosmetics the first day. Go Monday morning and if they are get a raincheck. You'll get the sales price and the ECB.

      • tori729

Ask them when they get a truck in. The ones around Greer/Taylors area get one on Thursday so you could go then.

    • Anonymous

There is a printable on Coupons.com for $1 off Folgers!!

    • Shelleytk1969

On the Physicians Formula makeup, if you go to their website their are 3 rebate offers on certain products. Just make sure to save receipt!

      • Gingiraffe

I also found $3 peelies on some! Paired that with my $6 off CVS q for free product + overage!!

    • Chaskw

Question … and I appologize if I've overlooked the answer somewhere … what, if any, is the best way/order to use mq, $ off prints such as last weeks $5 off $25 purchase, and/or ECB's?

      Thanks!

      • Sb

Total purchase coupons ($5/25), mq, then ecbs

        • Chaskw

          tyvm =-)

        • Kim_200414

I was trying to figure that out too! Thank you! Then when do you scan your CVS card?

          • Val

I like to scan it at the very beginning that way I can verify that everything is ringing up the right price.

    • Chaskw

…AND, because I'm new and dont want to look dumb when I get to register….. do u have to have save number of items as coupons AND ECB's? Ex…. I buy 2 items, have 2 mq's and want to use 2 different ECBs….do I need 2 small 'fillers' because I only have 2 items but 4 pieces of paper?

      Hope I'm not confusing anyone.

      • Sb

No fillers are needed at CVS. You can buy one product and use as many ECBs as you have :) as long as they equal or less than the total purchase price.

        • Chaskw

          Wonderful! tyvm!

    • Blingbeads1

Didn't know where to post this……..there is a $3 Schick Intuition Coupon on their Facebook page. Look in the WHAT IS NEW and follow the insturctions. I printed two.

      • ssh

I don't see the 'what is new' tab. where is it?

        • Blingbeads1

          On the left hand side.

      • faith

        thank you!

    • Coppertopp

I went to CVS this weekend (SC) and had trouble using my ecb. cashier told me they only take ecb associated with my account. for some reason I had one ecb that was linked to another account. She said their corp office was cracking down and you would have to use the ecb associated with your cvs card. Anyone else dealing with this?

      • Beth

I had trouble with my ECB at two differnet stores this week. The cash register beeped. but the cashier could see that the ECB matched my card number so she overrode it. it was odd and I don't know why it happened.

      • Val

That has always been the policy. If you look at the bottom of the ECB it shows the last few digits of the extracare card the ECB applies too

      • Amy T

This happened to me too. The cashier overrode it for me. I only have one card so I'm still not sure why it was showing a different number.

      • Amy T

Was it the Dial lotion ECB? I'm wondering if maybe it has something to do with that particular ECB.

        • Connie

No I had 4 different ecb coupons – all different and none were for the dial.

        • Kenzbug

Did you have a problem with your ECB on the Dial? I was wondering because I bought some during the last sale they had of it, got my $3 ECB, but the ECB isn't showing on my account when I look it up online. I'm worried I'm going to have a problem with it.

      • Connie

I also had problems using my ecbs today. They were printed on Sunday and had clearly not expired. I only have 1 cvs card so I don't know what the problem was. The cashier had to get a manager to override it.

      • tygirl13

I had this problem once before. It was obvious from the card number that was printed on the ECB that one number had been dropped, the cashier overrode it for me.

        • WynetteC

This may not apply but I will share what I have learned concerning the card number missing a digit on the receipts.

When a cashier looks up your account with your telephone number, it will pull up your account that is linked your card, but it will prompt to show the last five digits and will hide the fifth digit for privacy reasons. But when you use your card, it shows the true last four digits. It will show your name and card number on both types, depending on which way you pull up your account depends on how it shows/hides the last digit. For example… if your number is 9990567, ***0567 will print as the number when you use your card on receipt and ECBs. If you pull up the same account by telephone number, it would then show **9056, and notice the last digit is missing. By first appearance, it would appear they are two different accounts, but it's just the computer's weird system of doing things.

CVS customer service told me this is their number one call that both customers and cashiers get confused over. But the computer should take the ECB without any issues unless it is expired, then it would beep.

      • msivory20

Yep, same thing happened to me except it was a Red Box coupon from my sister's card, and they wouldn't let me use it on my purchases with my card. They must be getting flack from corporate because there was no budging at all!

        • Tiff715

Thats because your sisters ECB needs to be used with HER card

          • msivory20

It wasn't her ECBs, just a redbox coupon, but now I know!

            • Guest

CRV, “redbox” coupon ARE linked to the card scanned to get the printout! I was your sister's coupon; you needed her card.

      • Mcleodsc

Yes, my 5 ECB printed from the redbox for the Beauty Purchases on Sunday. Cashier said not for my account. I looked it had my name on it. Upon further inspection it was my number but was missing just the last digit. She pushed it thru after she saw it did have my name on it. I am also in SC.

    • Beth

Today I was thrilled to find a ton of makeup moved to the clearance area. It was a great price….even better with coupons. When I went to checkout, I was told I could not use coupons on clearance items. I know I have used Qs before on clearance. Was I just lucky before?

      • JO

You can use coupons on clearance. GET A Manager involved…. I called corporate office because this happened to me before. They told me that coupons are accepted on clearance. It just makes no sense to me why the people at CVS cant understand that they are going to be reimbursed for the amount on the coupon. They are still going to get the price of the clearance item, just part will come from me and the other from the manufacturer. WHY cant they SEE THIS!

        • shops2much

This is what I think about why they don't like coupons. Strategic coupon shoppers are higher maintenancethan someone who just walks up and pays retail for their purchase. Combine a high maintenance transaction with stores that ( thru no fault of their own) never have enough payroll hours to start with, and you get a frustrated store associate. We all need to bring our very best manners with us so they WANT to do more to help us than they have to do. I know I feel more generous to others when they are considerate. to me..

      • guest

You can ony use coupons on clearance that does not have the white sticker over the barcode.

        • Laura

Oh yeah mine had a mark through the barcode, but regardless the store gets reimbursed.

      • Laura

Are you from Birmingham? lol the same thing happened to me! I emailed cooperate and have yet to get a reply. I may call tomorrow. The cashier was rude about my coupons. I handed them over one by one, and after each one she told me my total. Almost like, are you done yet? lol There is no reason they shouldn't accept coupons on clearance items though bc they get reimbursed. They act like we don't know that (or maybe the cashiers don't know that?) I don't know. She actually told me they received an email telling them not to accept coupons on clearance items (from cooperate). I think she lied.

    • Christine

when you shop and get your rewards bucks when can you use them?

      • adrienne

u can use them imediately :)

    • Aldarley

My ss 3/20 has no Physician's coupons & my RP has no Sauve coupons…

    • Jan

Went to C VS yesterday bought 2 Tresomme Hair Sprays on sale for 2for $7.00 had 2 $1.00 coupons so they came to 5.00 and my ecb's for 6.68 to high to us so I just paid cash. Got to my car and look at my receipt and it had a $5.00 ecb to be used in 3 days.

Went back today and bought 2 birthday cards, water, 2 cans of nuts came to $16.00 used all ecb's and paid in cash $4.32. I am happy with this!

    • emj

Physician's Formula will earn ECBs next week, so I'm waiting. I have a $6 off coupon that printed at the bottom of my receipt last week. Now I'm just trying to find the $5 off PDF coupon!

      • Burroughs85

I hadn't heard about the PDF coupon for Physicans Formula. Would you mind letting me know if you find it please? My email is burroughs85 at gmail (dot) com TIA!

        • Ssellars06

I would like to have the PF too if you do not mind forwarding. sselllars at yahoo (dot) com! Thanks

        • foximoxie

I'd LOVE the pdf coupon too please?! My email is chelmail76 at gmail dot com ..thanks a million!

      • Christy

How many ECBs will Physician's Formula get next week? Is it better than the 40% off? With coupons I can get up to $19 free right now.

      • Ashleigh

I would love the PDF coupon too!! My email is ashleighcarpenter@hotmail.com Thanks so much!

this is what I got today at my CVS
      3 Suave shampoos
      5 cups cereal ($1 ea)
      3Suave body washes
      3 suave deo's
      2 glid dental flosses
      2 flintstone gummy vitamins B1G1 50% off
Combined with coupons for everything above & ECB's I spent OOP 13.95 & got $8 in ECB's. My total before coupons & ECB's was $51.49

      • Revelsue

What were the gummy vitamins ringing up at?

        • guest

$7.99 & the other one was half off & I had 2 coupons

    • Slgumm

Pretty good trip to CVS today here's what I got:
      (1) Schick Quattro Titanium razor @ $8.79 with $4 ecb and a $3 off Q
      (2) Mitchum deos @ $1.99 each
      (2) Nature Made Fish Oils BOGO @ $10.99 with (2) $2 off cvs Q's and (1) $3 off man Q
      Total:$12.79 with $4 ecb back

    • WynetteC

Thanks for posting, I was scanning looking to findout if that indeed was the case! :)

    • I have the same problem today too when I brought a few item and use my ecb from last it beep. My cashier think that I use other card, and I told her that's my card and my extra buck. She has to scan my cvs card and it match with my extra buck. But she has to manually put in the amount of my extra buck.

    • Carla

Hoping I can get some help here I went to cvs yesterday and I bought the easter candy deal and I also got the dawn hand renewal that was on sale for $.97 I had some ECB and I had a $1 off coupon for the dawn she rang the coupons up but then she said she could take the coupon because the dawn was less than the coupon. Isn't that the whole point of couponing ?

      • wasthere0909

they should have taken your coupon. it doesn't matter that the coupon is for more than the sale price because the store gets reimbursed for the coupon amount by the manufacturer. I have used many coupons that are greater than the purchase price at cvs. next time ask for a manager because cashiers don't always know the rules.

    • DebTN

      Another great trip to CVS:
Suave body wash, Allegra, wonka candy, and 2 packs of clothes hangers on clearance.
Total before sales or coupons: $36.40
      Total oop: $4.49
      ECB for next time: $9.99

    • Michelle

Went in for my list tonight and had to get rain checks for everything. But, there was an awesome clearance section in the front of my CVS. The cashier was so nice. She said it was Christmas gift sets that were 75% off. I was so excited. One of the sets was the Gillette Fusion Razor with a shaving cream, cooling lotion and they were marked down to $3.25 and she let me use my $4 off coupon from March P&G. They paid me .75 to take them. I also got the Oral B toothbrush with a free travel size toothpaste for $1 and again I used my $1 off coupon from the March P&G. I got 3 razor sets, 14 toothbrushes( I plan on using most of these for my Samaritans shoe box for next Christmas) a lip gloss set, a tote bag set and Nivea lotion set with my coupons for $18. The best part is I had $10 in ECB that brought my total down to $8. So much fun.

      • Chicklet

My CVS had several things on clearance but nothing like you got, michelle. Way to go!

    • Ashley Halischak

What is the “Get more from your pharmacy” booklet?

    • foximoxie

Question about bogo sales and coupons. At CVS last week I did the bogo deal for Aussie and Herbal Essence products(shampoos, conditioners, stylers), I also had a buy one Aussie or Herbal Essence product get one Aussie/HE styler free. So I bought one HE shampoo and one HE hairspray. I gave the cashier my Extra Care card and then the bogo manf coupon. But I still payed $2.11..the register had subtracted half of each product so the $2.11 was my final cost. I started thinking about this after I got home..I believe I should have gotten both items completely free after the sale and my coupon..right? And the funny thing is right before that transaction I had purchased 2 packs of the Orbit gum which was on sale bogo, I handed over a bogo Orbit gum mang coupon..and the cashier adjusted the receipt to where it was completely free..how does that differ at all from the Aussie/HE deal and coupon?? LOL Thanks!

      • foximoxie

OH WAIT..I can't believe I made such a huge mistake..I just looked at the sale from last week and it wasn't a bogo sale…I was mistaken about that and that's why I still payed $2.11…Ahhhhhh! Well maybe I learned my lesson: attention to detail! lol :) And oh poop because I even had THREE bogo coupons!…sorry for making you read so much

    • Kbirberick

Am I missing something? I got my Organize in Style Home Mailer and I don't see the -$1 off Dawn Hand Renewal…. There is a -.25/1 Dawn product……

      • tori729

Someone else on here said they don't have that coupon in the newer booklets, just in the older ones.

    • Kbirberick

Also, the coupon -$2.50 off Playtex Gentle Glide tampons, 18 ct.+,SS 3/20 says -$2.50/2 boxes not 1 box… right? Is this a typo??

      • This could be a regional variation. Or since one coupon is for Gentle Glide and the other is for Sport, you might find them both in your insert.

    • Skislady

I am still new to couponing and learning all this stuff. Can you tell me what this means? $4 off $20 purchase (from Weight Watcher’s meeting 3/8)
      TIA! Amy in TN!

      • DebTN

It means you get $4 off your next CVS purchase that totals $20 or more. Very valuable in the coupon world.

      • It also means that that coupon was given out at a Weight Watchers meeting on 3/8.

    • Kenzbug

I need some help. I received a $3 ECB about a week ago for the Dial Nutri Skin lotion. The ECB says it expires 4/18. When I pull this up on my account online, it is not showing my ECB. When I try to use my ECB, is it going to go through? I emailed CVS, but you know how that is. It might be a while before somebody gets back to me so I was hoping someone here might have ran into this problem in the past and know how to handle it. Thanks.

      • It should go through as long as the last 4 numbers showing on it are the same as your card. Did they have to force-print your ECB? If so, it will not show on your account. But actually, I think it just runs a little behind. I have some that expire 4/20 that are not showing yet.

    • Jenn Marie Earle

Ok I am new to the drug store couponing, and new to couponing in general I guess. This is actually gettting pretty discouraging because everytime I spend time making a list and clipping coupons and then get to the store and everything is sold out!!! When am I suppose to go shopping for these deals, am I suppose to camp outside every week to get a steal on some toothpaste?

      • tori729

That's why I don't create scenarios until I actually go in the store. I print out a list of stuff, write on the top how much ECBs I have to start with, and bring my calculator!

      • Dvherrera25

The EXACT same thing happens to me, week after week. I've introduced a few friends to couponing and I've taken them to the store and we're all ready with our coupons and then the empty shelves….I'm done hyping it up anymore.

      • Msmelmag

It is very discouraging….happens every week. I just don't understand why folks can't get a couple of the sale items so we all can benefit from the sales! The cashiers tell how people come in the night before the sale starts, how some customers get 10 or more of some items, argue, get mad and leave all their items, etc….sounds like besides giving the average couponer a negative mark, couponing will be limited, stricter policies, etc, in the near future! I just hope people are buying things for need and not just doing it so they can boast about how much they got for so little!!!!

        • mum2girlz

A couple of us couponers were just talking about this the other day and we both said we just can't do the extreme CVSing–it's too stressful and frustrating. But I will say this–the store has always given me rain checks for things they are out of and allow me to get the bucks as well. However, for those products that ends up being “free,” the store is often out of the product for weeks–sometimes after my coupons have expired–but even then I just tell myself there will be other deals and life goes on:-)

      • Nursehendren

get a raincheck for it and get it next week or the week after.

    • Shannon

If something is on sale for $0.97 and you have a $1.00 coupon what amount should CVS take off? The cash register wasn't excepting the $1.00 so she called the manager over and they gave me $0.97 off. Was that the right thing to do?

      • This is what they normally do.

      • 21YrOldCouponer

The work around is to scan your card after your coupons. Otherwise, it knows the price and will not let you markup. This method is risky so price-check first if in doubt you have the right item.

    • shops2much

I haven't been using a binder for coupons, but am considering it after seeing a shopper with one,,,,what kind of pages do some of u use? Are they like photo albums? Thank you in advance for the information.

      • You can buy baseball card holders at Wal Mart. They hold 9 coupons per page. Also, they have 4X6 photo album pages which each hold 3 or more.

        • Docajaly

If you take 3X5 notecards and cut them in half, slide 1/2 a card in each of the 9 slots and you can put 18 diff coupons on each page!

        • Broussardgang5

I have 3 1/2 X 5 photo sheets that I bought at Office Depot. It has 4 slots per page. I Love these sheets! Happy Couponing!

      • Scrappyautie

Been there, done that….takes way too much time! Please look up Jenny's video series from about 2 mons. ago where she went through each coupon organizational method & gave an informative “how-to” on each one. She discourages the binder method for the reason that it is NOT time efficient. The way that she recommends is simply saving and filing the entire insert, then when you need the Q, simply go to the insert and clip it out. Using that method has made my life SOOO much easier ; ) Before when I used a binder, it took so much time in maintenance, just going through and pulling out expired Qs, then refilling it with all the new each week. If you check out Jenny's video series (it's not very long, either, def. worth the time) then you can pick the method that looks best for you.

        • Wdra0632

I do not carry a binder, following the method Jenny describes, I just cut from the insert mentioned. I use this site and a few others to help with couponing. I have found that if I make a list of the items planned to purchase match the coupons I save more money. Carrying all of those coupons caused me to spend more than I wanted or had planned, this method allows you to know how much you will spend when you get there plus saves me time from clipping every coupon, I only clip what I will need. HTH.

IMO, you don't want a binder! I tried it, spent lots of time folding & inserting & then when the deal was not what I expected, I had to fold & insert again. No way to keep coupons lined up by expiration date w/out taking them all out & rearranging.

I like the binder method. To each his (or her) own. I have other coupons besides the ones I get from inserts and I like having them all in one place. Everybody just has to experiment with what works for them.

I went to my local CVS on Sunday, when these deals started and the shelves where already empty. I was so upset! Ya'll DON'T need 50 tubes of toothpaste!

Get more from your pharmacy booklet-I asked for this at my local CVS and everyone was really confused and said there was no such thing.

It's not available at CVS. It's from Kroger.

I'm sure the binder method isn't for everyone, but I love using mine, even though it requires more time for upkeep. It requires time to do this, and if I was going to invest my time, I wanted to go ahead and do it this way. Each person has to figure out what is easiest for them, in my opinion, and I'm still learning.

None of my 4 CVS stores carry the reach toothbrush that is in the ad, and were surprised that it was included in the 5 for 5. Very aggravating!

does anyone else have luck with crossover shopping (last week and coming week sales)? i went to cvs tonight and got the phys. formula and got the 40% off but not the $7 ecb for next week. i am more frustrated than angry because i see people comment all the time about how things always print for them etc, etc. just would like to know if i am doing something wrong?

      • Someone posted earlier on the new ad that this was an issue. They said the computer looks at the best sale it thinks and gives you that not taking in the ECB. I was thinking of going tonight but don't want to miss out on the physicians deal
