There is a $1 mq for 4 or more rolls of Scott long lasting or mega roll paper towels in th 3/21 ss.

      • Lori B.

FYI: I went to CVS this morning & bought 2 2oz. tubes of CVS spf 30 sunscreen for $2.19/each & I got the $5 ecb. Just wanted to let everyone know. The ad says prices start at $4.99 but the smaller size worked for me. So, that's a money maker.

        • farcoup

Yep!! It worked for me too!

    • Jenny

Can you stack a CVS coupon and a maufacture's coupon on one item like at Publix and Target? I tried once with the Kotex U, I had a man q printable for $1, and a CVS printable for $1 and the cashier looked at me like I had two heads and asked where my second box of tampons was. I told her that I thought they allowed stacking, and the look got even weirder. So I just used the one coupon and went on my way. Is this a YMMV thing? TIA!

      • Suemh

CVS does allow stacking. I have never had a problem.

      • jessica

CVS DOES allow stacking (1 manufacturer coupon and a store coupon). But you have to be careful with the CVS coupons, because many of the coupons printed from the CVS website, or even in the CVS Reinventing Beauty magazine actually say manufacturer coupon on them. If they say manufacturer coupon on them, you can't stack them with another manu. coupon (like a printable one or one out of the newspaper). But, your cashier probably just didn't have a clue :(

        • jessica

Sorry, just realized you said it was a Kotex printable. The Kotex printable from the CVS website is definitely a store coupon. So there is no reason that you wouldn't be able to stack it. You were right and your cashier was wrong. It is CVS coupon policy to allow a store and a manu. coupon together.

      • cassia2

Yep, stacking is allowed. Sounds like the cashier didn't know the coupon rules. :)

If you plan to be there again soon, you could take your unused coupon and ask them to do a post-sale coupon transaction, if you wanted, explaining the situation. Your receipt should state “man coupon” or “CVS man coupon” depending on which you used so you can prove it's different from what you did use. :)

    • melynn

How do you print off the $3 CVS Pampers q?

      • Emily

Click on it once to enlarge it so the coupon is most of what you see. Then use the Prt Scrn button on your keyboard to make a copy of the screen. Then open up paint and paste it there. Then save it to your computer as a picture. Then go to my pictures and find it and print it from there. That's what worked for me.

        • I'm concerned about the legitimacy of this. How is this different than turning a coupon into a .pdf, since it's readily available and you could print as many copies as you wanted. I'd love to get the $3 off, but not if it's shady.

          • danali

Me too! I'd love to use this coupon, but not sure if it is “legal” & I don't want to use it if we aren't supposed too. I'd love to hear from someone who knows. It seems to me that anything that I have seen Jenny do or suggest, she tries to stay above board on it & keep it legal, so Jenny? Are you out there????? Thanks so much!!!

          • Mom2Ryley

I used to coupon and it actually scanned just fine. I printed the entire page and showed them that it was printed from a digital copy of the magazine and they had no problem at all. I am sure, though, that YMMV depending on your store and their opinion. But, it doesn't hurt to try.

        • akllholl

Anyone know if we'll have to do separate transactions? Coupon says one per customer. We've got a 4 mo. old and two showers for friends in the next two weeks so I'd love to do this several times…
Also, what's the best deal to use some of those -$3Qs for Huggies before they expire? Thanks all!

      • Anonymous

What zip code on cvs.com did you find the $3 Pampers coupon? I can’t find it.

      • acpack

You can register with the website, then “clip” the page. Then go and view the clipped page and there is a print option. I think this might be the safest way, since the coupon looks a little less fuzzy and more viable than the print screen option.

        • Thanks for the details on how to print from Parents magazine online.

        • melynn

thanks, I was able to print it after I registered. I still am unsure whether CVS will accept it or not, I'll be asking first before I try to use it.

        • missycp16

I still don't understand where to find the Pampers coupon. Is it on the cvs website, or parents magazine website? I have been searching for almost an hour and can't seem to find it. Please help!

          • acpack

use the link that Jenny provides…that should take you there.

      • I was reading this coupon and it says that it would not allow internet copies of the coupon. So I doubt they will take it if you can get it to print

        • rclay18

I don't understand how they would take this. I'll wait to try this after someone else tries it.

        • Mindy

It says from unauthorized people basically, so since this is on the electronic version of this mag, and not just someone scanning it into their blog, I THINK it will work :)

    • ksnyder89

if i buy 1 item can i use 1 manf q + 1 cvs q and pay with cvs bucks?? or would the cvs bucks count as a store q??

      • Mary

I've done this in the past without a problem.

      • Kim

        Yes you can do this.

      • SusanStauffer

CVS ExtraBucks are almost like cash. They do not count as a coupon, like they do at Walgreens. You can spend it on almost anything in the store. And if an Extrabuck item has an offer limit of, say 2, you can purchase the first item, get your ECB, go back and purchase another and pay with the ECB, and still get the ECB for the second one. Much easier to roll your ECB's than Walgreens.

    • Mary

If I buy Pampers & Prevacid, get $5 ECB back, can I give them to my husband to buy the same products again but in a different transaction w/ a different CVS card?

      • Kim

No, the ECB's have to be used with the card they were purchased with…I believe.

        • annamariec76

They actually overrode something for me once. It wasn't ECB's but a reciept coupon. It was my mother in laws's and I forgot and stacked it with my ecb's but she worked it out for me somehow.

      • The ECB's definitly have to be used on the same CVS card…I know from experience! I tried it last week.

      • Lucy

No, ECBs can only be used with the same card.

      • kalilali

Actually yes you can. Two cards CAN be used on one transaction. If you have to use a phone # do it first.

    • Abigail

Mary, he can use the ECB, because I went in to CVS the other day and the cashier gave me the lady before me ECBs and I was able to use them.

      • lovesavingmoney

The ECB's are attached to the card you used. The cashier did a big no no letting you use another cards ECB's.The ECB's have your name on top of them. So if you have two cards. One for Harry and one for Sally. You cant use Harrys ECB's on Sally's card.

      • jessica

You aren't supposed to use them on another card. They will beep if you do. Some cashiers may just push it through and let you use them. But if they check the numbers on them when the register beeps, they will see that your EBCs and card don't have the same number. I have had this problem before since my DH and I each have a card, and once in awhile get our ECBs mixed up. BUT, I have also had ECBs beep when scanned, and the cashier checked the numbers, saw that it went with my card, and she said she had no idea why it beeped and just pushed it through. your mileage may vary.

    • hlfoley

I am having trouble finding the pampers CVS coupon??? HELP :/

    • I cannot find the printable Nivea Body Wash coupon! Any suggestions?

      • Mel

Can’t find it either…every site takes me back to coupons.com but it is not there. :(

    • lisagard

I had a problem stacking Manufacturers Q and the store Q this week and the store manager told me that I wasn't allowed to use both of them. Has anyone had this problem? I am new at this, so I am not sure that I am doing things correctly. I emailed cvs to ask if i was incorrect and asked if I could have a coupon policy, but haven't heard anything from them yet. Can anyone tell me what I did wrong?

      • leighsc

When I clicked on the softsoap link for the coupon it went to the colgate website, is this right?

        • lisagard

          Yes

        • Kimh

          yes, on softsoap link

      • Lauren

The Softsoap and Irish Spring coupons in the RIB mag are Manufacturer's coupons and you can't use two manufacturer's coupons on the same product. If the barcode starts with a 5 or a 9, it's a manufacturer's coupon, any other number is a store coupon.

    • lsmith3377

Where do I find the CVS Reinventing Beauty coupons for the Softsoap and Irish Spring body wash?

      • Rachel

Reinventing Beauty is a CVS-sponsored magazine. In my CVS they are usually stacked near the door just by the grocery carts and newspapers.

    • nancy

If I buy two Oral B toothbrushes and hand over the B1G1 coupon, can I still use
      an additional coupon?

      • Amber

It really depends on the store. Mine let's me do it.

      • toni

According to their written coupon policy, yes you can. Print out and take the coupon policy with you if you are having trouble with them taking both.

    • Tammy

Where do I get CVS reinventing beauty coupons?

      • SusanStauffer

The CVS Reinventing Beauty magazine is located near the checkouts. It's 99 cents, and full of coupons. If you can't find one, ask. Some stores don't put them out. :)

    • jess

On The Reese's peanut butter cups b2g1 free can you use a manuf. coupon on the free 1?

      • Rachel

My CVS let me, but your mileage may vary.

        • kat

I really messed up if you look at quantity. I bought 1 20oz coke and 4 reeses. I used 3 of the .55 coupons and a buy coke get reeses free coupon(-.89). I should have bought 6 reeses, but I wasn't thinking. That would have given me 2 more for .89

      • Lucy

Like everywhere else, you should be able to. CVS is the one running the B2G1 promotion, not the manufacturer, so you can use 3 coupons on 3 items, even if they are B2G1 :)

    • Casey Hurst

where do you find the CVS reinventing beauty at? does it cost?

      • Sarah

I have the same question….where do we get these extra CVS coupons??? I didn't see them on their website?

        • marciesherman

same question- where do i get these?

          • marciesherman

nevermind! i looked it up online, and the reinventing magazine is in the beauty section of the store. its .99. worth if it you want other q's, but not worth it for $1 off of one product!

      • Pennydealchick

The CVS Rinventing Mag is usually in the beauty section. It is $0.99 but well worth the money. If you can not find one just ask a Manager to get one for you. Hope this helps

The CVS Reinventing Beauty magazine is usually found near the checkout counter. The current issue has a picture of Penelope Cruz on it. It's 99 cents, and is full of great coupons. Definitely worth the investment. If you don't find it at your store, ask a cashier. Some stores don't bother to put them out.

    • jilljill

can you stack the q's from reinventing beauty with man q's? the top of the reinventing beauty q's says they are man q's

      • Pennydealchick

I have never been able to stack the Reinventing coupons when they save man q's and on these they do say mna q's.

      • guest

If the barcode of the coupon starts with the number '5' or '9', it is a manufacturer's coupon and cannot be stacked with another manufacturer's coupon. If it starts with a '4', it's a CVS store coupon and can be stacked with a manufacturer's coupon.

    • please help me, does anyone know a zip code that works for nivea?????????????????

      • Kristen

        29501 worked for me!

    • Kim

Where do you get the Reinventing Beauty qs?

      • Jennifer

You can ask the employees in CVS. I was trying to look for the mag for several weeks but I coundn't find any. Finally I asked them if they carry that mag, and they told me yes, and run into the inventor area to get one for me. They told me they didnt find a place to put the mag yet! So every CVS employee should know CVS carrys reinventing beauty!!!

    • michelle

BIG SHOUT OUT to the CVS on Hwy9 in Midway (Alpharetta, GA). Yesterday I went in to get some milk with my ECBs and ended up buying a “free” ECB product to earn more. CVS was out of the ThermaCare heatwraps and told me to purchase a cheaper CVS brand and they would honor the ECB!!

I then used my $3 ECB from the heat wrap to go towards 3 gallons of milk (Mayfield on sale at $3.69!). Had no clue that they were also running a promo for $3 ECB wyb 3 gallons of milk. So I ended up buying about $12 in stuff and earned $6 ECB in the process. :)

      • guest

Awesome trip! You might want to be careful telling everyone how great your store is though – you might soon find that you have a lot of new competition at your friendly location. LOL

    • Sandy

Where are the CVS Reinventing Beauty coupons found?

      • kpojero

Reinventing Beauty is a magazine you can find only at CVS for .99. My store has them in the makeup area.

    • andreadp

How do I print the pampers coupon?

      • VanessaCook

Just print the page from magazine at link provided and cut out coupon. Store will take coupon like that.

        • amy

          Ha, easier said then done.

          • VanessaCook

I guess it just depends on your store???

    • grisy

So when she says store coupon, that means it comes from the magazine?? …
      sorry the confusion!

      • VanessaCook

Not necessarily. Usually she will specify. Which one are you talking about?

    • Brittney

Can you stack a $1/2 General Mills q with a .55/1 Lucky Charms q together?

      • guest

If you are only purchasing 2 boxes of cereal, then no. To use both coupons legitimately, you would have to purchase 3 boxes of GM cereal and at least 1 of those would have to be Lucky Charms.

    • Cherie

How do you get the pampers coupon to print? For me it just printed a blank sheet of paper with the title at top….

      • susan70032

I was having the same problem!! When you pull up that page, go to the top right and you will see a pair of scissors. Press that, clip it is what they call it. Then it will ask you to go to “my stuff”….say yes. Look to the right side of the page and you will see a printer. click on that and it will work :). Let me know if you have any problems and I will try to explain better!

        • Cherie

          Thank you so much.

        • marysc

Thanks… this didn't work in Firefox (I got blank pages) but did in IE!!
I'm still not convinced this is legit… will ask my great store manager and post his response.

        • Karen

Thank you for your printing instructions.

    • Lucy

I am wondering, can you mix and match brands when the deal is “buy $15 of John Frieda, Biore, etc., bet $5 ECBs”? Can I buy different brand worth $15 and still get $5 ECBs, or do I have to buy all $15 of one brand?

      • guest

If there are several brands listed under the same ECB deal, you can mix-and-match and you will still get your ecbs.

    • Lucy

Somehow, the Covergirl mascara I bought yesterday turned out to be a moneymaker. I bought 2 x $6.00, used a BOGO and $1 off coupon… Somehow, the cashier forgot to scan my card and only scanned it in the end, so the BOGO coupon took off $7.99 (because the price was $7.99 without a card)… So I ended up paying $3.77 and getting a $4 ECB. Now I feel bad because I don't think that it's right, I mean I'm happy that I paid less than I was supposed to, but will the cashier get in trouble?

      • cpnmom

The same thing happened to me, and my card was scanned at the beginning. So, I think it's okay. :-)

        • Megan_A

Same thing here. My friend did it later in the week and was expecting to get 7.99 off after my experience. She only got 5.99 off. Not sure if it's b/c she shops across town at a different CVS.

      • Kelley

Same thing happened to me on the Biore deal last week. It took off the regular price and not the sale price and my card was scanned first.

    • Ashley

I think this week is going to be the week I start trying CVS deals…I am new to this so with the getting started scenarios I will give it a try ty Jenny for your work =)

      • susan70032

You won't be sorry! It took me a LONG time to give and try CVS and now I'm kicking myself that I did not start sooner!! lol

      • Yay! CVS is my ultimate favorite couponing store! It's pretty easy once you start- not many 'rules' to try and figure out like walgreens and most employees are VERY good about coupons. Have Fun!

    • gary

Where do you get the Reinvinting Beauty mag?

    • Rebecca

I had trouble printing the printable softsoap Q on my mac, so I went to my laptop, and since I had already given my e-mail address, it won't allow me to have it, FYI – don't use a mac for this. Waaah!

      • jerilyn

Is it a problem with the mac then? That's all we have, bummer!

        • Erin

I can't print with my Mac or my PC (uses Windows 7).

          • Yeah, I have the new Windows OS and it wouldn't let me, but on my old computer I have vista and it printed.

      • Just get another email address. This site http://www.disposeamail.com/ will create an email account for you that expires after so many minutes.

      • AKellyinVA

We had a Softsoap bodywash Q in our 3/28 SS. Dunno if you're looking for hand soap or body wash.

    • Heather

Where do you get the CVS Reinventing Beauty coupon for the Softsoap? Thanks.

      • guest

Some stores have a magazine called Reinventing Beauty which is available for purchase for $0.99. This magazine has coupons in a sheet in the middle of the magazine. Some stores also will put out JUST the coupons and allow customers to have them for free w/o having to purchase the magazine. But not all stores have the magazines or coupons available.

    • Brittney

OK. So I want to do the Avatar deal (to make Hubby happy) and I was wondering when I am adding all of my items up, 1st. Does the price shown ($25 to get the deal) have to be before of after q's, 2nd) I want to use my $5 off $40 purchase, will the Avatar DVD ring up @ $4.99 which is the sales price with the deal, or will it ring up $19.99. I want to spend as little OOP as possible to get the deal. Anybody know?

      • kpojero

I did the deal a few weeks ago with the chipmunks movie and it was discounted before my coupons were taken off. Im also going to do the Avatar deal this week. Great deal!!

        • kristin

          It will ring up 4.99.

      • Brenda Z

as long as you have $25 worth of those products, it doesn't matter what coupons you use, it shoudl still be $5. I'll be using my 5/40 w/ it today too. THOUGH i will warn you, when i did the Chipmunks deal at my cvs, the price never came down to $5. We ended up voiding the transaction, ringing up everything again and it still rang up as $19.99 and they had to just override the price. was annoying, but worth it for a moive my kids were begging for for $5 :-)

    • kcreviews

I could not print the All coupon. It said the campaign had expired (or something like that). Total bummer since all I can use because of skin allergies is the All Free and Clear.

    • Frugal-J

Today again a cashier in my local CVS drugstore tried to turn down my Green Bag Tag for not bringing a re-usable bag. It just happened that the assistant manager of the store was next to her when I told her that I had spoken to him earlier during the week about the rules to get your credit when presenting your Green Bag Tag, 1. bring any re-usable bag, 2. use a bag from a previous purchase at the store or 3. simply carry out your purchased items. The cashier ended up giving me the credit.
Have anybody experience problems with the Green Bag Tag or it is only me at this particular store?

      • I’ve heard of other people having this problem- I’m sorry that is happening to you. It’s clearly written on the cvs.com website that you can bring any reusable bag, including plastic bags or even toting your things out with your hands! I think maybe they think the greenbagtag is all about getting customers to purchase a cvs bag…boy, they are wrong.
If you go to the site and print off the requirements for the greenbagtag and they are STILL giving you a hard time, it may be time to call corporate.

        • I read one girl on another site saying that her CVS would let her buy one thing, scan the tag, and then check out the rest of the things and put them in a bag! I am just really troubled by this because the point of it is to SAVE bags, not to get customers $$$ for nothing. If you really care that much about your extra buck, then either take a bag or don't get a bag (carry it out w/ your hands).

Disclaimer-I know this isn't what this girl is tlaking about, so please no one flame me. I do realize this is a completely different situation :)

          • LOL to your disclaimer! You know it's funny you mention that though, because more often than not my cashier will scan my GBT and then BAG the items!! So I nicely just re-group the items into my reusable bag and they end up catching on later!

            • Suemh

I have 2 CVS bags. I have my GBT attached to one of them. When I go to CVS, I put the bag that has the tag on it inside the other, along with my shopping list, coupons, and other necessities. No handbag needed! When I get to the counter, I pull the second bag out and set it on the counter with the GBT convenient to be scanned. and the cashier just drops my purchases in as she scans. Works for me! Of course, I do not just “drop by” CVS. I have to plan my trip because I live 20 miles away.

      • AKellyinVA

I've never been to a CVS where they required a bag. In fact I tell them I'll carry out my items, and the cashier says 'that's ok' and puts my stuff in a bag. So while in theory you're saving bags, in practice it's ymmv.

    • A concerned Shopper

      $1 ECB wyb Crest 3D White Vivid 4oz or Oral B 3D White Toothbrush $2.99 Limit 2
-$2 off Oral-B Pulsar CrossAction, Advantage Toothbrush PG 4/04
      B1G1 Oral-B Advantage Manual Toothbrush PG 3/07

The 3D white isn't listed on the coupons. Isn't this misuse of the coupon or is it a version of one of the brushes that is listed?

      • Ashley

I looked at the coupon and the B1G1 has 3D white listed as a type of Advantage toothbrush. I guess it's a type so the coupons are legit. Hope that helps!

        • Yay! thanks for checking on that I was worried about that too. I know I've seen some people buy something not listed and try and see if it will go through anyway. I didn't want to do that, but now I'm excited because I have this coupon. It's shaping up to be a good week at CVS. And, I'm more excited because I found out that my store's sales start early. I called them and the official word is “no” but I decided to try it out anyway because I heard reports that they should all start on Saturday, so I tried it last week and it worked. This is nice because there is a lady who buys things to resell and she always cleans them out really early so I was glad to actually get some of the things last week.

          • Sandy

I have my green bag tag attached to one of my re-usable bags and carry the bag in with me for my purchases.

      • mama22babygirls

IMO a lot of the coupon deals listed on here are misuse. One example (of MANY) the DOVE deoderant deal currently going on, ending today. Its saying to print the $3 wyb 2. However, these coupons are for ultimate Dove deod not the reg deod. One CVS store caught this, another didnt. I always give it a try.

      • SusanStauffer

The 3D White is an Advantage toothbrush. It's on the packaging.

    • caseyheather123

So with the extra bucks I don't have to ACTUALLY spend like $15 to get the extra bucks? I can just use my coupons and only pay like $6 and still get my $5 extra bucks????? I'm new to this.

      • Erin B.

In short, yes. You have to purchase $15 WORTH of products – at total of $15 before coupons.

      • AKJ

Yes. I have paid out of pocket less than 50cent and you still get the bucks.

      • Marina115

Jenny has a helpful getting started guide that explains everything you need to know about CVS. Please read it! :)

    • I still have questions about the scenarios Jenny is setting up. For example, the first one:

      Transaction #1
      Buy:
      (2) Oral B 3D White Toothbrush $2.99 ea
      Use:
      B1G1 Oral B PG 3/07
      -$2 off Oral B Toothbrush PG 4/04
      Total Due: 99¢
      Get Back: $2 ECB

How can you use the B1G1 and the $2 off coupons together because they are both manufacturers coupons for the same product??

      • When you are using a BOGO coupon, think of it as 'tagging' onto the free one. In other words, there has to be 2 Oral B toothbrushes in the transaction, and the coupon with be 'tagged' onto the 'free' one. The other toothbrush has no coupon 'tagged' on it- therefore you can use the $2 off for that toothbrush.
Very rarely, a BOGO coupon is coded to actually attach to both items needed for the coupon to work. I've never ran across it in my couponing yet.
        HTH

        • Sasha

I tried using the B1G1 coupon and the .75 coupon on the taster's choice, but it beeped and the cashier said I could only use one coupon.

          • pianogretch

This is exactly what I just posted but I didn't see this until after I posted. I tried this a month ago and the manager (who was ringing me up) didn't even TRY to scan both coupons she just said that I couldn't use both, only one.

      • firstbrownie

I just did this deal tonight; From other comments in the past on here, I've learned to give them my $ off coup. first, followed by the BOGO. I used my 99 cent ECB for this purchase and paid 45 cents tax and received $2 ECB…..fun deal!

    • Jamie

Where do you ge the CVS Reinventing Beauty?

      • Amber

Some CVS stores have them and some do not. If they do you will eiether find them in the magazine section or in a small magazine group by the cosmetics.

    • amy

When you clikc on printable, to get the pampers coupon, how exactly do you print it

    • Vicki

Did anyone have trouble printing the pamper coupon from the Parent magazine?

      • Lynn

Yes, I didn't know how to do it. It was so confusing. Can anyone help?

      • blessed2save

I registered and then there was a link on the top right “clip” click on this link while the coupon is up and it will be held for you. Hit the icon the “clipped” icon and it will show up like in your cart. You can then print from there… I hope this helps!! I really tried this on it is a great coupon you can stack…

        • Finally, someone answered the question on how to print the Pampers coupon. This worked! Thanks so much!

    • Marlene

I went to two diffrent CVS stores and neither of them would not let me use the B1G1 q and a $2 off q on 2 Nivea body wash? I have never had this happen before with B1G1 q's.
      Is this new with CVS?

      • Melissa H

So funny, I had the Nivea B1G1 and the $2 q's, and that transaction went through with no problem, no beeps, but like several other people mentioned here, the computer DID beep on my $2 q's used with my B1G1 for the Tresemme … The manager overrode them and put them through but not willingly and with an attitude … Told me that the B1G1 was a 'bundle deal' and that I technically wasn't allowed to use the $2 q's too but that he'd let it go this time … This was a different CVS than I usually go to, but I've never had that kind of issue at my regular CVS … Made me wonder since the Nivea went through without a problem if it might be somehow coded into the q from the manufacturer's end?? Also made me wonder why this is never a problem at Publix on anything B1G1 whatsoever?? I'd say try another location til you find one that lets it go through … The cashier did tell me 'For some reason our store is really strict on coupons' after the manager walked away, so maybe its a store by store issue??
Also, for anyone else on this board from the FL area, maybe I'm a little slow/special, but I really had to look hard for the Tresemme Fresh Start products … They were not in with the rest of the Tresemme shampoos (which is why I ended up at a different store than my regular in the first place), they were over with the styling products … They're still shampoos, though, just waterless ones … I don't know, maybe I'm the only one who found that weird and a little frustrating …

    • Jennifer

Have a question. So, for the past few weeks, CVS has been having the Nivea deal and the Schick Hydro Razor. There is a limit of 1 for the Nivea and a limit of 2 for the razor. I already did the Nivea deal a few weeks ago and bought 1 Schick Hydro last week and then 1 the week before. So have I reached my limit or does the limit reset for each weekly ad?

      • tagsmom2008

I think it resets each week.

    • pianogretch

I have a question about something that happened to me at my CVS about a month ago. I was buying 2 toothbrushes. I had a B1G1 coupon AND a $0.75 coupon. The manager was the one ringing me up b/c it was so busy. She said that I couldn't use both coupons b/c the B1G1 was for both. I didn't say anything b/c there was a line behind me. I ended up just using the B1G1 but it has bugged me ever since. Shouldn't I have been able to use BOTH coupons?

      • Kristen

Yes you should have!! Just last week I did the Covergirl mascara, got 2 of them and used a $1 Q and a B1G1 Q and they gave me no problems at all! Thats rediculous.

        • ziggy34434

I think it's hit or miss. Some B1G1 coupons attach to both items while most do not. I have not had a problem since I started couponing last August. Then with the Oral B toothbrushes in this transaction the $2 coupon beeped. I'll grant that I didn't use it first, but I never worried about it before. I just used 2 $2 coupons. Two transactions later I use the B1G1 Nivea with the $2 Nivea with no issue.

Point is it apparently can be an issue sometimes: although rarely.

      • mama22babygirls

Technically NO, Im told you shouldnt use both but….. normally you would hand them the 75 cents off coupon first then the B1G1.

        • Penny Saver

I just tried to use big1 and $off on the olay deal and the computer wouldn't take it so the mgr said he couldn't over ride it. Should i have been able to use both?? If so where would I find the print out stating that??

          • Jennie

You can use both just make sure they scan the $ off one first before the B1G1 or you will have issues.

            • AKLLHOLL

That's weird, I always have to do it the other way…I wonder why.

        • lisaajenkins

I tried using the b1g1 coupon and $ off the other….I gave it to them both ways. I had 3 sets. 1 set went through and the other 2 beeped and the cashier couldn't/wouldn't override….I'll try contacting corporate, or take the coupon policy to the manager (who happens to be the parent of one of the kids I taught several years ago!)

      • Jbush27

I always use scenarios like that. You are buying one and using a coupon to get one free and then you are getting .75 off for the one you buy.

      • Roriek

CVS's computer will accept the same number of qs as products you're buying, so they are required to accept B1G1s and additional $s off coupons in a situation like yours. Jenny has a CVS Customer service reply posted somewhere on the site here that deals directly with this issue. Apparently the cashiers/managers have more training to do with this.

Same thing happened to me and I contacted Customer Service. They sent a very helpful reply, credited my CVS card with the money I would have saved in the transaction, AND contacted the District Manager to let him know what happened. I would definitely recommend contacting them!

      • christie1225

They did the same thing to me. I know they are wrong, and I agrued but he would not take both.

      • laura

Same thing happened to me…still a good deal though…

      • Cheryl

This happened to me as well. I had a B1G1 coupon and then had a $.75 off coupon, bought 2 items, and they could only ring up 1 coupon.

    • smaks

I also don' see how that $3 off Pampers coupon can be legitimate. You are viewing a free preview of an electronic magazine. And it does say “CVS will not accept offers printed from unauthorized internet postings or reproductions, copies, or facsimilies.” There would be nothing stopping someone from printing hundreds of these.

      • mama22babygirls

My CVS wont take it. I doubt any of them will…. Would love to know if they do.

        • susan70032

Mine took it. I live in New Orleans and went to the CVS on Prytania. The coupon states one coupon per customer so maybe they are linked to your card. I did not try and use more than one….

          • Kim

Referring to all the posts on the page at the website….I work at CVS and yes we take those…as long as you aren't trying to sneak in coupons on stuff you didn't buy, the register will take any kind of coupon. So lets say you decide to photocopy a coupon…you can do that, but you have to make sure you have 2 items and not try to use 2 coupons on that 1 item. make sense?

        • Jennie

My store took it with no problems. I had to register for free with the magazine and it let me print the page and the coupon scanned just like any other one.

      • ziggy34434

CVS will not accept offers printed from unauthorized internet postings or reproductions, copies, or facsimilies. The keyword is unauthorized. This posting is authorized. Hence it is legitimate.

        • smaks

How could anyone determine whether someone printed 100 copies off the internet which you say is legitimate or 1 copy and then photocopy it 100 times?

          • ziggy34434

They probably can't. However, I'm sure CVS is aware of that going in.

          • If you'll look at coupons printed from most legit sites, they have a microprint border similar to US Currency, but not as sophisticated or tiny. However, if you try to photocopy those coupons on a run of the mill photocopier, it will reproduce the microprint as one solid line or blob, which is a dead giveaway that the item it fraudulent. However, if the coupon is a popup, your computer may issue a print prompt which allows you to print multiple copies of a coupon. I will not get into the ethics of that procedure since I'm a live and let live kind of person for the most part.

            • AshleyJ

The micro print on the edges is this the same print that has the little scissors? I have been cutting it off recently to fit in my coupon booklet.

            • lynn

that is fine. i went to a workshop and jenny explained that the “coding” or whatever it is also prints on the coupon near the bar code, so if you cut off the edges it is fine, i do it to so that mine will fit also.

            • Ashley J

              Thanks

      • Yeah, that's what I was thinking. And, people do print hundreds of coupons like this and then say “it's the stores fault for not expecting us to break the rules”

      • Meme

I'm not even going to try. I think you should just use the coupon from the magazine.

      • Brittney

I just used it without any problems!

      • lmettler

How do you print this page out? I can't figure it out

        • Jennie

You need to register for free then click the button at the top that says clip page. Then you can print out the the entire page. My CVS took it with no problems and it scanned just like a normal coupon.

          • lmettler

Thanks! It worked and my store took it no problem too.

            • Megan

              Mine too

          • frugalscmom

I have registered and clipped and still can't figure out how to print. I'm not usually this technologically challenged, but can someone help?

      • Renee

Used mine with no problem! =0)

      • Rose

agree i see people are using it, cvs will catch in a day or two, and will stop it i figure..

      • Kristen

I registered w/ the site and was able to “clip” the page and then print out the coupon. It's free to registar w/ the site and preview their digital copies of the magazines. Cool Concept! Off to CVS this morning and will see if they accept my coupon. I'll post if they don't

    • I got a CRT coupon for $3 off the purchase of 2 M&M, Snickers, or Dove's bags. Dove bags are on sale this week 2/$6. With the coupon, they are only $1.50 each, which is really cheap for those.

      • ivegotcutekids

I've gotten two of those, too! Works out to be a profit if your store has Easter candy left. I got paid for taking home some M&Ms!

    • What has been your success with Rainchecks at CVS? THe first time they were out of something I wanted I was so excited when they offered a raincheck and said that it would also include the ecb offer (not just the sale price).

Then reality set in. I have been waiting a month for them. Each week I add another raincheck to my stack and they never restock the items. I had coupons that I was planning to use but they always expire before the items get back in stock. Literally one raincheck I have had for over a month and the item still isn't restocked. Is this common?

It's not possible for me to go to another CVS store. I'm in a rural area and already travel 20 miles to get to the CVS I do shop. (that's not uncommon though because I have to go to that town to do any shopping pretty much).

      • Angela

Same thing has happened to me. I am also in a rural area and it's a 50 mile round trip for me to go to CVS and Wags. I think I ended up throwing my raincheck out because I got tired of them never having the item in stock. I've pretty much quit shopping there because it's discouraging that my store never has many of the sale items in stock and it's a whole wasted trip. Just keep checking or ask a manager about it.

        • couponsyay

I've only used rainchecks once or twice, and I didn't have a problem finding the items in stock once the sale was over. They were pretty common items, though (such as Dove and Degree deodorants), and I do live in a suburban area with lots of CVS stores around. Hope it gets better for u!

      • LD

Not to good on some items . I have had one for 4 months now lol I did find it helps to find out when they get there shipment in say a fri then go in mid to late fri morning to get some stuff. Mine tends to put food out first . some of the items may not even get put out till sat. But a lot of the ecbs are sold out on sun morning even though i have gone first thing sun morning as they suggested. It is not a 24 hr store and they say they dont turn on sale early . But someone buys the things up before Sun opening ? lol

      • Crystal ask your mgr if they will substitute since you drive so far. My store often substitutes things they are out of or if it's been a few weeks and the item I got a raincheck for is still not in.

Last time Thermacare was free after ECBs I got a raincheck but then weeks passed and my coupons were about to expire. The mgr substituted the CVS brand AND let me use my coupons! I didn't expect to be able to use them so it was a nice surprise.

    • Mitzi

where do u find CVS Reinventing Beauty booklet

      • Angela

Sometimes they are at the counter if they're in stock. I usually just ask a sales associate.

      • Amy J.

at my CVS, they're in the health/beauty section…..if you don't see them at your CVS, just ask an associate where they are located. HTH

    • kriss

I cant even print it. I hit the print button and all that comes out is a blank sheet. Any suggestions?

    • Meme

I think I'll be skipping CVS this week. =)

      • LD

know the feeling but I have to use my ECB's uggg

    • Elizabeth

132 comments and only 3-4 different questions… LOL!

      • LD

LOL I noticed the same thing . Maybe a lot of really really new people who are overwhelmed and dont even see they can read the thread and find the answer to there question if they read below the same question ? or maybe they dont know how to use control f to search a page ? in a hurry or to lazy dont know lol but pamers q and b1g1 toothbrushes have been answered many times in this thread . Oh along with the beauty magazine lol .
I am bummed however that the RBM coupons are manufacture this time around I thought i had a cvs deal to roll my ecbs with . guess I will get some toothbrushes [yes I will use 2 coupons on em lol ] and some paper towels but that is about it lol

        • Guest

I hope people didn't laugh at your questions when you first started couponing.

    • Brittney

OMG! Great CVS trip! Bought $126.70 (after tax) for $41.70 (after tax)! Woo Hoo!

    • brendaarndt

I have a question for anyone that can answer. I read on someone's blog that their extra buck coupon was about to reach its 30 day after expiration date so she figured she had better use it. Surely she didn't mean you can use your EB coupon after it has expired did she?? thanks

      • Angel_in_Charleston

I think it depends on the store. I had some ECBs that had expired and my local CVS let me use them, but it was in the same week. The cashier said that was pretty much their policy. Thirty days sounds pretty unlikely to me, but who knows.

        • renamac

I am learning that you never know until you ask so I don't throw mine away until I ask. this goes for all my drug store and even restaurant coupons I am learning that alot of restaurants honor expired coupons. YAY!

      • firstbrownie

My CVS (IL) lets me use any of their store coupons up to 30 days after the expiriation date. I rarely have to worry about it…..but it is nice knowing that they do that just in case I ever need it! I just asked the manager the first time I went in about their coupon policies and he explained everything to me.

      • renamac

I don't know what she meant but I DO KNOW that I have used expired ecbs . I'm sure it will be YMMV but it's worth a try. HTH

    • Stacey

If there is a “limit 2” does that mean that I can buy the same item twice and get back the ECB's twice? Or would it give me the “sale price” for the 2 items, but only 1 ECB?

      • Angela

You can buy the item twice and get the ecbs twice!

    • Whitney

I found out something today from my CVS. I tried using a B1G1 coupon for NYC nail polish because they were B1G1 in the store. The cashier told me that they had a mtg. yesterday and they were told never to take one of these q's if the store already has it B1G1. They were told that if they did they could be fired. Just something to think about.

      • LD

Well that is a shame that the manager told her that. When I called cvs customer care they said yes you can . The store gets back the money for the coupon the one you use your coupon on so they dont lose a thing [but the sale if you take your buisness lets say to Publix who is glad to do it lol] .
And somewhere on this site Jenny has an email from CVS Cor. with the coupon policy clearly stated on this and other coupon usage at the stores . If you want to press the issue because you can only shop at that store call corp on Mon and they will take care of it for you and let the store know what they are doing wrong. If not just take your money to a better run cvs.

      • Joanne

I went into CVS on Thursday with a coupon for some mascara that was BOGO. The coupon was also BOGO and they took off the price of the one I paid for. She even told me what a good deal i got. :)

        • renamac

That's because it is a completely legitimate transaction. Think about it. do you think for one minute that manufactures and drug stores have no idea of what they are doing when they place these ads .they know these coupons are out there .they even will place an ad in their sale paper showing you a coupon to use with your purchase. I just think that these cashiers are so misinformed about their stores coupon policy and so when they see the amazing deal that your getting they treat you like your stealing. some of them have no idea at the work that goes into your couponing.

      • renamac

I'm sorry but I think your cashier overreacted. If the store is having a b1g1 free sale the store is offering to give you the free item and if you use the b1g1 coupon then the manufacturer pays for it so why would she get fired. I'm sorry give me a break!

    • Mom2Ryley

I did pretty good at CVS this week. Here's what I got:

      (2) Softsoap Body washes
      (2) Oral B 3D White toothbrushes
      (1) Jumbo Pamper's Baby Dry diapers
      (1) Complete Multi-Purpose contact solution (raincheck)
      (2) Tresemme Fresh Start shampoos
      (1) Hydro 3 Razor

      Total OOP: $2.38
$9 ECB's left for next week.

For those of you worried aboout using the $3 Pampers coupon. I printed the whole page and showed that it was printed from a digital magazine and they scanned it with no problems.

    • sarahcas

There's a coupon for $1 off any softsoap body wash and a coupon for $1 off any irish springs body wash in the Kroger my magazine that came about a month ago. It's a manufacturer coupon and it even says on the bottom in bold “Redeemable at food, drug, discount and other stores accepting coupons”

    • Jennifer

Does anyone find Tresemme Fresh start in their CVS? I didnt find any of them in 3 CVS stores near my house.

      • asteelman

Try looking in the styling products section. They were not with the shampoo and conditioner.

    • Shirley

      Hi everyone!

Just thought I'd mention that when I went by my CVS today, I scanned my card through the machine and received a $3 off $15 coupon good through 05/08. Run by your CVS and check it out.

      • Crystal

I never get those coupons! Ugh. I wonder if they are regional or something. I never get them and neither does dh. We never get the $$/$$ coupons (except recently I did get a $5/$40 coupon

    • Heidi

How do you print the Pampers coupon from the May Parent? I can pull up the site but when I hit print it is blank.

    • AKellyinVA

I had reason to stop by Kroger's Customer Service yesterday. There on the counter were leaflets describing Kotex U with a $1 coupon inside. I've never thought to look there for coupons before, but y'all might start checking there as you pass by.

    • Renee

The only B1G1 in RedPlum I found for Covergirl is only for face products. Is this the one you're referring too or am I missing an insert?

    • abbyb

I am new to this, so what does the ss or pg mean? with the date next to it? is that a coupon? if so, how can you get it?

      • Suemh

SS = SmartSource & RP = Red Plum. These are newspaper inserts and the date is what date newspaper they were in. Please read the getting started guidess at the top of the page. They will be very helpful.

    • Jeff

Today at CVS I scanned my card at the coupon center and it spit out $10 extra bucks. Nothing attached, no spend minimum (other than $10) or purchase requirements. Does anyone know why it did this?

      • asteelman

Don't know why, but what a great surprise…wish I could have lucked up on that one!

      • Jana Lee

If you have not been in the store since April 1st, it could have been your Winter Spending Extra Care Bucks?

        • Jeff

I have been in, probably 12 times…I actually just started CVS'ing in march, so idk…definitely a pleasant surprise..haha

    • brendaarndt

I have another question for someone who might know. :-) I saw it written somewhere that you could change the settings on your computer so that you might be able to print more than just the one or maybe 2 coupons that the manufacturer is offering for us to print offline. Once in awhile I am wanting 3 coupons for something and can't find a third coupon. So if anyone knows this…let me know. Thanks so much guys for all the questions you have answered for me on here. Also, a big thanks to Jenny for all of her hard work she does for all of us!!!!!! :-)

      • Crystal

The limits are in place for a reason. Maybe you can borrow a computer or get a friend to print one to give you if you really want a third.

      • Jenni

We bought a cheap used laptop specifically for printing extra coupons. (we also use it as a DVD player for the kids when we travel) We paid $130 (found it on Craigslist), and after about a month, I've already saved about $40 that I couldn't have saved without coupons printed from our laptop. I hope to have it paid completely off in a few more months. That is an idea that you might consider. Either that, or ask a friend to print the extras off for you.

      • renamac

2 prints per computer so for each computer that you have you get 2 coupons.HTH.

    • To everyone who got the $5/$40 CRT recently: i NEVER get the $$/$$$ coupons so I was kind of excited to finally get this one, but then I never spend $40, so it was disappointing. BUT, this week is a GREAT one to actually be able to spend that. Here is my scenario:

      Intuition Razor $8.99 (-$4 coupon)
      Irish Springs $2.99 (-$1 coupon)
      2 Oral B 3d white toothbrushes $5.98 (-$2.99 BIGI, -$2 coupon)
Pampers $8.49 (-$3 store coupon, -$1.50 mfr coupon)
      4 Tresemme $13.32 (-$6.65 BIGI, -$4 coupons)
      Johnson's Buddies Soap $1.39 (-$1 Johnson's baby product)

(The buddies soap is just a filler). Total: $41.16.
      Total after all coupons: $10.02
And, I just happen to have $11.50 in ecb's so I'm good to go, and will earn back $9 in ecb's.

(I'm going to get the softsoap also but this is the way I could get my OOP the least)

      • I tried to edit but it's not letting me. THe Johnson's baby coupon excludes Johnson's Buddies products, so just add any random filler. My CVS has some clearanced candy that should put me almost exactly to $40

    • toni

I have an extra care card but just went and registered on line. I did not get the coupon you speak of. Do they send that right away? How do I get that if they did not send it?

      • Marina115

i didn't get mine for at least a couple months. So it's going to take awhile

      • If you don't receive anything by 8 weeks, send them an email. I had to do that.

    • SavingsGirl

I tried to use the coupons for:
      Tresemme Products $3.33 ea
      B1G1 Tresemme Fresh Start printable
-$2 off Tresemme Fresh Start printable
(buy 2, use both coupons makes it 66¢ ea)
And after using the 2 $2 off and 1 B1G1 the cashier stated that I had exceed the coupon quota and would not allow me to use the other B1G1… I guess the computer would not allow her to ring in the last one. I have never had a problem using B1G1 and another coupon before. I did not push the issue because there was a long line, I just had her void the transaction and I will try at another store.

      • AKLLHOLL

Hand the BOGO coupon first then give her the $ off. Can only use one of these unless you have more than two products. :)So, for 2 products you can use the BOGO then $ off. Or,if you have 4 products hand them 2 BOGO and then @ $ off coupons. This SHOULD work. HTH.

      • Amy J.

I feel your pain, SavingsGirl, since I tried the same myself this morning at my local CVS (Hinesville, GA) and was told the same thing. I did realize after leaving the store though that she scanned my CVS card after she rang up the items. I wonder if that affected things at all. I had her apply the $2 Q first then the B1G1. Didn't work on the Tresemme. Although my prior transaction w/ B1G1 Q's for the Nivea body wash and the Nivea lip balm worked……go figure!
I've had problems in the past w/ them applying the B1G1 Q first then they wouldn't take the $ off Q (since the register “beeped”).
Please let me know if you get this to work at another CVS…..thanks!

        • Amy J.

Actually, after re-reading your post, I realize you tried to use 2 of the $2 off Q's……how many of the Tresemme's were you purchasing?

I actually only tried purchasing 2 of the items and using one
          B1G1 Q and one $2 off Manuf. Q……..

          • Ashley

Hey Amy, always give $off q b4 B1G1 and it should work!! No beeps!

            • Amy J.

Thanks, Ashley…..that's what I tried this morning, but the register beeped anyway…..I was a bit puzzled by that since it worked on my Nivea purchase…..gave cashier $ off Q then the B1G1, worked fine for that one, just not the Tresemme transaction for some odd reason. Might go back in the morning and try again……gonna make sure they scan my CVS card first before they ring them up! fingers crossed :-)

          • SavingsGirl

            I had 4 products… I was trying to use 2 b1g1 and 2 $2 off….

        • kalilali

It does not matter when your extra care card is scanned – if at the beginning you will see sales ring up instantly – if at th end it will take all your savins off in one chunk and print correctly on the reciept. The reason for the register “beeping” that most people don't consider – the manufacturers coupons sometimes have a block in them to keep from stackin – they too want you to buy more stuff so they have q's available but only allowed to use one at a time. It isn't the associates fault if the computer won't allow it – people need their jobs and others $2 aren't worth forcing a coupon to get them fired…….

    • anhoover

does anyone know if for the stayfree pads buy 2 for 9 dollars you can only buy one for 4.50. what is cvs's policy on that? also, if i have a 4.00 off cvs coupon for stayfree and a 2.00 manufacturers for stayfree can i use both and get overage? do i have to use in a certain order. please let me know.

      • kpojero

You can only buy one and get it for $4.50. My cvs always gives me overage with coupons but I think it depends on the store.

        • anhoover

thanks! i did buy only one and they did give me overage so it was a money
          maker. yay!

      • Ashley

I always get overage no problem, just make sure your overage is paying for a product. I don't think it's going to matter much at CVS what order you do, but I know at Target and Publix you should use store q's first. And of course, mfr then store at Wags!

    • CW

I love couponing and saving money, but am getting very frustrated with the whole process because it seems like at least half the time the coupons listed in SS or RP aren't there. I live in the Ballentine area, does anyone else have this problem??

      • Katy

I live in the Ballentine area as well and have trouble finding a lot of coupons as well. I just use what I can and don't worry about the rest. I used to get the Charlotte paper from the St. Andrews Newsstand until it went out of business. The Charlotte paper always had more of the coupons. Sorry I couldn't help more! Maybe someone else can . . .

      • debee2000

I, too, get frustrated that RP are very unreliable in the Augusta are and now SS seems to start doing that too. Just going with the flow and getting whatever I can. I can't understand why it can't be straight across the board. You know “Keep It Simple, Stupid” but those are the Big Guys

        • ma2ayden

Im in the Augusta area too and having a hard time finding the coupons too.

I did get Publix to honor a Harvey's coupon though the manager said they normally dont b/c it isnt local, well I found out there is one in Waynesboro.

          • farcoup

Which Publix accepted the Harvey's coupon?

            • ma2ayden

it was the publix off N. Belair and Washington by the Evans Movie Theater.

Im interested to see if the one in on the other side of I-20 off Washington in Augusta will take Harvey's coupons b/c I printed more.

      • Use one of the clipping services and purchase coupons that you don't get in your local paper.

    • bhflood

Where do you get 'Reinventing Beauty”? Is it a magazine? Thanks!

      • Amy J.

yes, it's a magazine sold by CVS. Some stores have them where the newpaper stand is by the entrance, but my local CVS has them in the Health/Beauty section on and endcap. HTH.

        • Amy J.

          * on an endcap

    • Neecy

use both coupons($2.00 off printing on receipt and .50 off) on huggies wipes if you have them makes them FREE!

    • Danielle

Went to my local CVS earlier. The Tresemme coupons are for “Fresh Start” and those aren't included in the sale for $3.33 each. Only the regular Tresemme are on sale. Did anyone else notice this?

      • Amy J.

My CVS (Southeast Georgia) has the Tresemme Fresh Start included in the sale….my local CVS ad also says “ALL Tresemme”….so all of them are on sale. Might want to double-check your local CVS ad and see what it says, then take it to your local CVS and speak w/ the manager. HTH.

      • dhill241

The “Fresh Start” Tresemme were included in the sale at my local CVS. Although the sale price was not on the shelf as the other Tresemme items, the sale paper said 'All Tresemme products' and it rang up the sale price. The manager confirmed that it was included. Maybe check with the manager? I live in the Charlotte area.

    • lovetosave

hi i was just wondering where can i get the b1g1 coupon that is mention for the nivea and tresemme. and wat does it mean when it says may all you and what does the date after the amount of coupon (in red) means? please help i'm new ;) tks

      • You really need to read the Getting Started Guide at the top!
All You is a magazine and May is the month . The date is the Sunday is appeared in the paper. The SS , P&G or RP is the insert it was actually in.
The Nivea coupon was in the magazine and I believe the Tresseme has a printable link you click on.

    • nicki

Can I use my $3 off $15 from Rite Aid at CVS?

      • You'll have to ask your store. Some take competitor coupons but quite alot do not.

    • We did the Avatar deal today. Bought 7 cereal, 2 Fiber One bars and 4 Fig Newtons to make the needed $25. (included in that transaction was 2 Soft soap, 2 Oral B toothbrushes and a Schick Hydro razor). Used the $5/$40, seven $1/1 cereal Q's, a $1/2 Fiber One, BOGO Oral B and a $2 oral B. Used $16.49 of ECBs, spent $14.96 OOP and got back $12 ECB. Dear hubby was quite happy!

    • Hubby and I both have a card and we both bought 2 Softsoap. Our rec'ts still say that 1 more can be purchased… Not sure what the limit really is.

    • Niki

The Nivea deal did not work for me today. Bought 4, used 2 B1G1 qs, then the clerk would not accept the 2 $2 off qs. According to the CVS policy, he should have accepted these since I actually purchased 2, correct? He did state that someone at that store was actually fired to accepting too many qs on the same product.

      • Joanne

I did the Nivea today. I bought 2 womens wash and 1 mens wash. I had B1G1 for the womens, 2.00 of womens and 2.00 off mens. The cashier accepted all of them.
Although I also had 2 oral b toothbrushes with a BOGO coupon and 1 for 2.00 off. She would not take the 2.00 off, the computer would not accept it.

        • Barbara

I had problems with this as well, but the guy at the register made it work somehow. I was buying 4 of the Nivea body washes, 2 of the Tresmme and a box of fig newtons. I tried using the 2 B1G1 coupons,(2) $2 off, a $4 off $20 coupon I got when I scanned my card at the door and the $1 off the Fig Newtons. Whatever he did, he handed me back half my coupons saying I didn't need them all and before tax my total was only .17 cents! I checked the receipt when I got home, and I'm still not sure what he did…I think he just didn't scan 2 of the body washes because I didn't get the $5 ECB.

    • acpack

I was able to use the $3/pampers CVS coupon that I printed from the online mag, but the cashier had to manually enter it. I'm not confident that every cashier will accept it. FYI.

    • Kristin

Is the “Limit 1” a weekly limit or a lifetime limit? For example, if I completed the Nivea deal two weeks ago, is that the only time I can get the ECBs for that, or can I do it again another week?

      • dwiegand

It's a limit just for the current ad's week.

    • heidischk

Does anyone know how much the Arm & Hammer dryer sheets are? I'm trying to figure out if the B1G1 at CVS is a better deal or Publix? Thanks!

    • lsmith3377

I picked up the Reinventing Beauty magazine at CVS yesterday for the coupons mentioned above. They all say “Manufacturer's Coupon” on them, but they do have the CVS logo on there as well. The barcode starts with a “5”. Are these CVS store coupons or are these manufacturer coupons and can they be used with the manufacturer coupons I already have?

      • Suemh

My CVS always accepts these as store coupons.

    • Roriek

$2 off All Laundry detergent is RP 02/07, NOT SS 02/07

      • Christin

Thank you thank you thank you! I was about to forfeit my deal bc I couldn't find this q!

    • Lisa

Went to the store today. 2 FYIs:

      1. There was no limit on the softsoap (that I reached). I bought 7 without my receipt every stopping the ECBs.

2, When I scanned my card, I received a $5 off Lysol No-Touch Hand Soap. With the manu coupon, it was free!

      Hope that helps!

Today was my 2nd time doing CVS deals…can someone please give their opinion on how you think I did? I got 2 Tresemme shampoos, 1 pack Pampers diapers, and 2 oral-b toothbruses for $7.09 w/ tax…I also got $3 ECB back. Receipt says I saved $26.73. Did I do ok for my 2nd time couponing @ CVS?!

      • Ashley

It sounds like you did great! Good job! It will keep getting better and better too…I've been CVS-ing for about two months now and it seems like every week my deals get better and better. CVS was my “gateway” store into couponing because it is fairly easy to get great deals there…then I started branching out to grocery stores and have been doing great. You sound like you're off to a good start!

      • quarleywoman

I think you did great!! There aren't many things as satisfying as knowing you got the very most you could for your money. The cool part is that it gets better and you will get better at spotting the deals and knowing what deals will really benefit you and your family and which ones to just get if they are free or you have someone to give the items knowing they will use them.

    • Nikki

I did the Avatar Movie deal today. I bought 10 packs of fig newtons and used ten, $1 coupons making all ten free. I bought 2 boxes of Total, used 2 $1 coupons. I also bought 2 Cinnamon Toast Crunch and used one $1 off coupon. I got one 12 pack diet coke and 1 All Detergent, the DVD, and 2 of the small sunscreens. I used $8 ECB and only spent $16.99 out of pocket! Woo hoo and still have $5 ECB!

      • Hattie

I did the deal yesterday am and got:

        Avatar movie
        6 packs of coke products
        2 Fig Newtons
        4 Ritz crackers
        2 Premium Saltines
        1 Tresemme Fresh Start
1 liter Crest Pro Health (the BIG one)
        2 Oral B toothbrushes

        Used 10.99 ECB and $5 off $40
        OOP $14.87
Got back $2 ECB and a coupon at scanner for $4 off $20

I think between this deal and a couple other recent ones from other stores, I have enough Coke product to last the summer and entertain!

    • scjacket

Beware that the $2 and B1G1 Coupons for the Tresemme Fresh Start won't work together for some reason. I've tried it at 2 CVS's and it would take one or the other, but not both. I had a “Shift Supervisor” both times and was told I couldn't use both! Frustrating considering I used a $2 and B1G1 for the Oral B toothbrushes in the same transaction!! I just kept my $2 both times since there were people behind me, but wanted to post so you were prepared if you are doing this deal.

      • ashley

yes, did not work for me either but did at Target…idk why…?

      • ivegotcutekids

        Wouldn't work for me, either.

    • Susan

Hey I don't know if anyone has looked, but there is a page of Nivea coupons in May's issue of Self magazine. I used the $1 off nivea lip care to get the ECB.

    • Fla Saver

Did my CVS trip today:)spent 8.83 and saved 63.41. YAY!
      4 BIORE 2(BOGO coupons)$6.00 ea
      2 Oral B toothbrushes 1(BOGO cpn) 1 (2.00cpn…they wouldnt take) 2.99ea
      3 Nivea body wash 1(BOGO cpn) 2 (2.00 cpn)
      2 Revlon eyeshadows 1(3.00 store cpn) 1(2.00 m cpn) B1G1 50% 4.99 ea
      1 sprite 1.00

      I had 3.00, 4.98 ECB
had $10/$50 (with new card) she also asked if i had the $5/$40 that came from the scanner. She took both so I did not balk at her not taking the 2.00 for the toothbrush. Although the Nivea coupons worked, the toothbrushes did not. Maybe scanned in the wrong order. Who knows….
      I also left with $12.00 in ECB's

      • ashley

weird…my cvs took my $2 off and b1g1 toothbrush coupon w/ no problems, however would not take the b1g1 and $2 off tresemme.

    • Jesse

There's also a $.50 coupon for Irish Spring body wash in the 4/25 SS.

    • Shirley

I used the Tresemme coupons for the $3.33 deal, and my B1G1 took the item off at full price – $5.49, instead of the sale price. Ended up getting both free and made 83cents. The cashier had to enter the coupon manually, wonder if that had anything to do with it. Still cool!

Just thought you might like to know that the coupons printing today (4/26) are:
$1/3 bags Gold Emblem Candy items (excl. trial)
      $3 off any L'Oreal moisturizer

      Cheers

    • lindsay

I can't print the softsoap body wash coupon and lately I am having trouble printing many of the coupons from this site. It says “print limit reached” even though I have not printed any. What does this mean?

      • Suemh

Each coupon is limited to a certain number of prints overall. When it says “Print limit reached”. it means that there are no more coupons available for anyone.

    • Charlene

I had the same problem earlier today and the cashier read on the $2.00 coupon “not to be used in conjunction with any other coupon” thus, they would not take both!

    • Amy

I have a question about the Huggies/Pampers wipes. It says “$2 off Huggies Wipes Refill or Tub, store coupon printing on CVS receipt”. Does this mean that the coupon will print out after you purchase the wipes? If so – can you only use it on the next purchase? Also, a week or 2 ago I tried purchasing something that said the coupon will print on the receipt and I never received a coupon. Does everyone get these coupons or does it print out randomly?

      • The coupons print randomly. Personally I treat them the same as if I read something about a tear pad. If I get the coupon then I would do the deal but if not I don't plan on purchasing,

I did get the $2 off but it was 2 weeks ago and I combined it with a 0.75 off coupon I had so this was a money maker for me!

        • Amy

          That makes sense – thanks!

      • lyssibee

The “store coupons printing on CVS receipt” can be obtained by making a purchase OR even better scanning your CVS card at the red kiosk (is also a price checker) at the front of most CVS stores.
Before you buy anything, you can scan your card at the red kiosk at the front of the store. It will print out several coupons. I find they are random, but most of the time I get one for an item I am about to purchase. They seem to change daily. Good luck!

        • vgwagoner

My CVS will take these coupons for anything purchased, not just the items specified. This is where I go get my papers and milk on Sundays now, usually both for free :) no ECBs just redbox coupons.

    • melody

I could not get the b1g1 and $ off to work on either deal. :( on the upside somehow 2 $4.99 cvs suncare items, 1 softsoap bodywash, and both toothbrushes all came to only $9.64 and they took my $10 ECB and I owed nothing. got back over 10 in ECB's and extras. Don't know how that happened?

    • tdouglas

GRR. I'm aggrivated with my local CVS. they are always out of the products I need to make my “deals”. then it throws my whole plan off. I only saved 20 bucks today, and minus the Avatar movie, could have bought all that I got at Wal Mart for the same price or cheaper with coupons. I dont' know what I did wrong except that they were out of several of the items I was going to buy for the ECB's and I had to spend more out of pocket to get the movie. this is the second week in a row that my CVS has been out of stuff. They never did get the Dial Nutriskin in from a couple of weeks ago. I've had a raincheck waiting to be used and they never have it on the shelf. they were out of the Irish Spring body wash today and that is my hubby's favorite. I did do the Nivea deal but still had to spend $7 OOP to get that because I didnt' have the ECB's to put towards it. sorry for the vent. just aggrivated.

      • momto2boys

Sorry that you are having trouble, I understand your frustration. I find that usually at CVS you have to go early to get the good deals. Also you can get rainchecks for things that they are out of and still get the ECB's. I find it hit or miss at CVS haven't been there in a couple of weeks…

      • Suemh

I love shopping at CVS and most of the time I can get what I need. I have gotten rainchecks a couple of times. The good thing about them prnting your ecb when you use a raincheck is that manually-printed ecb's deduct from your taxable total when you use them so you save even more. I was told by a manager recently that they actually place their orders 10 weeks in advance. They are given a list of things to stock up on, but have no idea what the sale is going to be.

    • lynn

the cvs's where i live as a rule do not get the reinvinteing beauty magazine. very disapointing.

    • Paula

There is a link to facebook under the Target deals for $1 off any 2 Nabisco Oreo or Chips Ahoy product. Couldn't these be used on the Nabisco cookies listed for $1?

      • armywife74

As long as they are within the size requirement for the coupon it can be used. That would make them 50 cents each. Also I used the facebook wheat thin coupon on the sale as well. Fig Newtons were gone!

    • mmikebel

Question about the tresemme coupons. I says tresemme fresh start, but at cvs they do not have those marked as the sale ones, only the tresemme so can i still use these coupons for that?

      • shelby43

They are on sale. I checked yesterday.

    • mary

where do you get the soft soap store coupon at?? thanks

    • Erin

Does CVS double coupons .50 and under? How about Walgreens?

      • momto2boys

        No they do not.

    • Erin

      Does CVS double any coupons?

      • momto2boys

        CVS does not double.

    • where do i get the CVS Reiventing Beauty Mag?

      • Jennifer

They are up front in the beauty section. You have to pay .99 for them. They have 30 coupons in them.

    • Jennifer

YIPPIE! Just got back from CVS. They took the $3 off Pampers coupon with no trouble! I was so Nervous….But it scaned just fine!!! CHEAP DIAPERS!!!!

    • mariek

Think I'll use my $10 ECB's to go towards the $25 needed for the Avatar deal. I've got to use them before 5/1 and we really liked the movie! Hope I can come up with a good scenario.

    • luckysmomabram

There is a 2.50 coupon for john frieda on website just e-mailed to me

    • Melissa H

Just a note … I used $5 ECB I already had and the $4 q for the Shick Intuition (plus 1 filler) to buy my first cartridge pack, then used the $4 ECB from that and the $4 q for a second pack, and the register printed out another $4 ECB on my second pack purchased … Of course I went back and got another pack and repeated my second transaction since these cartridges are so expensive and this is the first time I've hit a sale, coupon, ecb combo on them … It didn't print another ECB on the 3rd transaction, but just wanted to let anyone who uses these know that I did get a total of $8 ECB rather than $4

      • Crystal

The limit is 2 for this deal.

    • Suemh

I had to go to WalMart today to use the free Rimmell product coupon. I found a great deal that I just want to share. I always check out the clearance aisle. Today I found Gillette men's anti-prespirant on clearance for 2.50. This paired great with the free body wash coupon that is expiring on 4/30.

    • Megan

Can I use 2 coupons for one LOreal 360 cleanser? One is specifically for the Go 360, printed from allyou.com, the other is for any LOreal cleanser but both say manufacturer’s. Will CVS take both?

      • Ashley

No you can't ever use 2 mfr q's on just 1 item.

        • Megan

Target let me use two $2 off identical coupons for Dove deoderant. Free deoderant =)

          • Crystal

The checker at target doesn't care because they get reimbursed. This is cheating the manufacturer though. And, I'm sure it's not corporate policy for Target either because it's a big no-no. (unless one is a store coupon)

    • Michelle

I love shopping at CVS, but I too had a problem with the B1G1 and $2 Q for the Nivea. The cashier told me that because I used the B1G1 and I was getting ECBs back was the reason I couldn't use the $2 Q. What??? I've never had this problem there before. I of course did not argue and thanked her anyways, but left really confused.

      • toma

Had the same problem today with BIORE.

        • coupondanat

I had the same problem with the tressemme shampoo. Is there a trick or a certain order the coupons need to be in to allow the register to accept both coupons?

    • windymac1

my sister in law gets CVS coupons sent to her by email. Where do I need to go to sign up and receive?

    • windymac1

how do I receive coupons $4 off $20 coupon by email.

      • vgwagoner

I am not sure, but mine showed up today, expires Sunday.

    • Kate

I didn't see any Schick coupons in my SS from 4/25… Did anyone else have this problem? I bought the Greenville News.
      Thanks!

    • Beth

I am trying to print the CVS / Parents 3.00 off Pampers diapers coupon and I am not having any success, could someone please help.
      Thanks!

    • just got back from cvs…pampers $8.49, used $3 store q & $5 ECB from last week for a total of $0.87 with tax! VERY cheap diapers!

    • Suemh

Does anyone know if the 2.19 Sun Care is still working for ecb's?

    • Jennifer

I would like to try the sunscreen ad tonight as well. Does anybody know if it is still working?

    • Gabe

I got a CVS email today with 5 off 30 and there was a CVS coupon in the email for 3 off pampers.

    • Shannon

CVS sale 4/25 – 5/1 — I am having trouble finding the $ 1.00 of Softsoap and $ 3.00 off Pampers CVS store coupons. They didn't print when i scanned my card and didn't see in the circular. Where can I find these coupons?

    • Crystal

The checker at target doesn't care because they get reimbursed. This is cheating the manufacturer though. And, I'm sure it's not corporate policy for Target either because it's a big no-no. (unless one is a store coupon)

    • Crystal

The limit is 2 for this deal.
