I am stoked about the Nivea body wash deal. That is amazing that they have issued such high value coupons! I will have to buy several papers this weekend, it would be worth it just for one trip to CVS! Yay!

      • Michelle

The coupon says $4 off of 2….so rethink that one before you go. It's still a good deal, just not quite as sweet!

        • ShannonStrader

Seriously, my coupon, as I am looking at it already clipped, says $4 off of 1. There is also $3 off of 1 men's wash.

          • jilljill

What paper did you get your insert out of…and how did you get it so early??!! I'm envious!!

            • dr. coupon

              yes, please share!!

            • ShannonStrader

There is an entertainment paper in the Dallas area called Quick papers that has the redplum insert. The paper is free and comes out on Thursdays. I grabbed a couple yesterday trying not to be greedy. They usually clear the papers out by Friday morning, but there were a ton left this morning so I grabbed a few more.

            • Sarah

ShannonStrader, I'm in the Dallas area and haven't ever seen the Quick papers. Where do you usually find them? Thanks for the help :)

            • Anonymous

Go to quickdfw.com and there is a locator somewhere on there site. You can plug in your zip and it will tell you where to pick up the paper. I got mine in one of those paper machines/boxes (don’t know what they are called) near the school I teach at.

          • soymilk30

I am in Dallas, GA. I got the RP and it was a $1.00 of one Nivea this past Sunday. However, there were $4.00 of one body wash product earlier in the year.

I used two of those…see if you can find them..

        • april

I already have mine too (I get a RP on Tuesday w/my grocery store ads) and it is $4/1 :)

        • I have the $4/1 coupon. There must have been different ones sent to different areas.

        • Ashley

Fortunately I'm in the Atlanta area, and I think the AJC has the $4/1 coupons.

        • Danielle

I am in the NC and it was 4 off 1 in the Charlotte Observer

    • sonyapell

My local CVS is closed for now. :( It was hit Saturday in our tornado.

      • couponqueen925

        Sorry to hear that!

      • Mrssmith

        Oh goodness-sorry to hear that!

      • jennifr1966

How tragic! Were many houses/businesses hit hard?

        • Anonymous

The town is unrecognizable in many places. There are still areas you can’t get into over a week later. CVS actually did open up though. They have some broken windows, and many missing ceiling tiles, but they’re open for business! :) The support from all of the local towns has been amazing. Here’s a news story about it.

    • couponqueen925

My Depends Q says $2 off of and 2 Depends produtcts, so I don't think it will work for this scenario.

      • guest

I printed mine several days ago and it was $2 off of 1 for me. I wonder if they changed it afte a certain number of $2/1 were printed or something?

    • justmom

All You for April has a BOGO for Nivea body wash and lip care

      • Nikkoljay

The May All You also has a B1G1 for Nivea, but it's for the 16.9 oz version body wash and not the smaller shower gel version. There is also a B1G1 for the lip care too.

    • I think the Nivea $4 coupon might be a mistake. The preview from yesterday says $4/2 under the Redplum insert.

      • ShannonStrader

I got my insert yesterday and its definitely $4 off of 1.

      • Emily

I think there will be variations upon the region. Some will get 4/2 and some 4/1

      • guest

There are already Nivea coupons from the coming insert available on Ebay, and several of them are definitely $4 off of 1 – there are pictures in several auctions to prove it. This coupon in particular is probably going to vary a lot from region to region.

    • KelliSC

At my CVS the other day, the manager told me that I was not supposed to use more than one coupon of the same type in one transaction. I thought this was wrong, but looking at the coupon, it states: CONSUMER: no other coupon may be used with this coupon. Was it wrong to ask them to honor it?

      • ant0288

you can only use one per item… thats what it means when it says you can't use another coupon with the deal… (in this case you couldnt stack a manufactor and a store coupon)… but def find the cvs coupon policy and it will say you can use two coupons on a bogo sale, which implies you can def use the same type coupon more than once if you buy more than one item

    • ant0288

if the nivea coupon is 4 off 1, then its cheaper (or you make more money) to buy the 4 body washes and not worry about the lip product unless you need it (after coupons the body wash is 88 cents, the lip 1.99, so a 4th body wash will make you 1.11 more)

    • ant0288

      Buy:
      (3) Nivea Body Wash $4.88
      (1) Nivea Lip product $2.99
      Use:
      (3) -$4 off Nivea Body Wash RP 5/02
-$1 off Nivea Lip RP 5/02
      Total Due: $4.63
Get Back: $5 ECB, you make 47¢

if you replace the lip product with another body wash you will make 1.11 more since the body wash is cheaper after the coupon use (assuming it is 4 off 1 which people seem to be verifing)

      • ROOKIE SHOPPER

I'm questioning this scenario since Jenny posted coupon is $4 off 2 nivea, but her scenario show off 1. Which one is it??

        • We are going to see a lot of variations in it but the best option is that some areas will get $4 off (1). I honestly wouldn't plan on this deal though until you get the paper. I can pretty confidently say that I know my area won't have any nivea coupons… likely.

        • Lori

I am in Snellville Ga and mine is 4.00 off 1!

      • mac17

Could i use a Nivea lip care BOGO coupon with this deal?

    • Natalie559

There is a $2 off olay body wash from the $100 savings PG booklet that was mailed out.

    • Laura

The CVS $2 off cream cleanser Q expires today so the scenario above can't work. sadness.

      • This one should expire 30 days after you print it… did you just print it today??

        • erinrueff

Yes, I printed mine today and for some reason it isn't expiring 30 days after. Maybe it will work if we try to go back in and print it tomorrow. Will try first thing and see. Maybe it is just month to month…

          • Mom2Ryley

My store will put in a store coupon that's been expired for a week or less. You could always ask!

    • carayara

My Free Rimmel coupon from April All You expires 4/30. How can I use it on 5/2?

      • You can't sorry. I fixed it :(

        • spiveym

The CVS on atlanta hwy/taylor road in Montgomery, Alabama will take expired manufacture coupons up to 6 months! They will also accept Target, Publix, Walgreens, and Rite Aid coupons. All that is told directly to me by the Manager, Chad – AWESOME Publix! I am very loyal to it and will always send Montgomery folks to him!

      • mom2twinsnva

Last night I was @ CVS and I was telling the girl that I had a few coupon's for the deals I was doing that I had to throw away because they expired. SHe told me that they take coupons that have expired within the last 7 days! So you may want to give your CVS a call and see what they say!

    • jilljill

My April “All You” does not contain a coupon for Rimmel…I'm so sad!

      • Dianne

It was only in the subscription issue.

        • Carrie

You mean the subscription actually received a coupon that the store-bought didn't? That might be a first for me. I have the subscription, and besides one toothpaste coupon a month, it seems as if the store-bought issues have the coupons I would use, not the subscription issues.

        • Lori B.

I don't think this is true. I get the subscription & my mom just bought hers at Walmart & that coupon was in hers.

Anyone else having problems printing the depends Q?

      • katiegreenvillesaver

I am! I tried printing it and it says it printed but it never went into the queue on my printer. I tried testing printing another document and no problems with my printer at all. I wonder what is going on?

        • Brenda Z

same thing happened to me. tried 2 differnet printers and computers!

      • erinrueff

I got mine to print with no problem… I am only 26, so i don't need them. Maybe I will donate!

    • Your list is by far the best I've found! I've linked my readers to come over here to see it.

    • Benjamin

Given the discussion about the free Thursday inserts in Dallas, does anyone know if there's any way in the Columbia, SC area to get the inserts earlier or free? Thanks!

    • waitingforryder

I went to CVS last night (April 29th), and certain Pantene products were on sale for 2/$5. I had (3) $2 off coupons for Pantene Nature Fusion from a Vocalpoint sample, and a $1 off Pantene styler. I got 2 bottles of Patene for $1 (.50 each!), and another bottle plus a styler for $2 ($1 each!). I didn't see this deal posted, but I may have overlooked it, and it ends today (unless the deal is extended for next week). These were definitely the best prices I've gotten on Pantene (except for the free bottle of shampoo that came in the mail from Vocalpoint with the coupons :)

    • Anonymous

None of this is included in the ad, but on my regular CVS email for $4 off $20, there was also a $5 off 2 or more Hawaiian Tropic sunblocks. Pair that with the $1 off manuf q from the Reinventing Beauty magazine and you could have a deal!

I searched the prices on CVS.com and the cheapest sunblock I could find was a 4 oz bottle for $5.03 but there may be something cheaper located in store (q excludes lip products and must be 3 oz or larger). But, if not, this is the deal I am going to try to do:

      Buy:
      (2) Hawaiian Tropic 45+ sunblock, 4oz. $5.03 ea.
      Use:
-$5 off 2 Hawaiian Tropic (cvs email)
-(2) $1 off HT Sun Care Product(Reinventing Beauty) manu q
      Total:
      $3.06 + tax

      • dulinl

Will the $3.00 CVS magazine coupon that you listed a link to printable work on the diapers this time, along with a Mfg coupon? I have that link still but have not printed it, since I don't have the mag., I was unsure if it would be accepted. If so, this would be a GREAT deal!

        • Mom2Ryley

I used this coupon with the manu q with no problems so you shouldn't have a problem either. :-) It scanned fine and didn't beep.

    • Christa

HI Jenny, thank you so much for your great lists. What is the free makeup that you mentioned at the top of the post? thanks!

    • Lucie Grace

Is this a good deal for Pampers?

      • akllholl

By it self it is not great BUT if you can combine it with the $3/1 Q from Parents Magazine, a manufacture Q AND one of the $/$$ Qs that have been mailed out it makes for a GREAT deal. I've got $2.50/1 man. coupon to combine with the $3/1 and a $5 off $30 coupon.

        • Valerie

What parenting magazine is the $3/1 Q in? Is it a store Q or manufacturer?

          • Anonymous

Parents Magazine that is in stores has it as well as it’s online copy located here: http://www.parents-digital.com/parents/201005/?pg=97#pg97
You’ll need to click on it once to “clip” it to your favorites so to speak, click to zoom in so that it takes up most of your screen then hit “control” and print screen. Then open paint and “control” “V” (think it is V, may be K and I’m blanking at the moment). This should open it in paint where you save it to your desktop as a jpeg file. Print as many as you need but you can only use one per transaction. Good till mid to late June! I also got one emailed to me with my $5 off coupon. Check your email!

      • Meme

Does the Pampers deal also include the new Pampers Swaddlers? I love them!

    • Jas

I like how u post all of this stuff helping so many people at a time like this. It's a great thing.God Bless.

    • jess

I'm new at CVSing and wondered does the coupons such as $5/$20 printable at register is that before additional coupons? You can pay with extra care bucks and receive them in the same transaction right? Just trying to get it all straight!!

      • Abbie

yes, hand them the 5/20 FIRST! Then, hand them all of the rest of your coupons. You still get all of the ECB's for the entire transaction. :)

    • rebekahlittle88

Where do you get the reinventing beauty catalog and the other CVS coupons you talk about? I asked 2 CVS's in my area and they didn't know what I was talking about but I know that you refer to them usually ever week and I want to know how to get them! Thanks!
      Rebekah

      • Abbie

I found them at the front of the store on top of one of the makeup display counters. Near where all of the perfumes and such are.

        • kayjo

I looked at my CVS's Reinventing Beauty catalog. Most of the coupons in it expired in March. What's the deal with that? How often does it come out?

          • Suemh

I think that it comes out quarterly. The new one is out. I bought it a couple of weeks ago. It has Penelope Cruz on the front. Funny thing is that I had just asked the manager about them because there was a rack of various old issues on the counter and he said that they had not come in yet. Then as I was checking out I spotted them next to checkout.

            • Amy

You can also typically find it at the magazine rack in front of the cash registers at Wal-Mart in most cities.

            • Suemh

A CVS magazne being sold in Wal-Mart?

    • BJ

In the scenario idea is there a transaction #3?

    • Chrissy25

The CVS I go to has the Red Barron Singles at 2/$5.
      Used (2) $2/1 Q
      OOP = $1 + tax

      • Ashley

where did you get the red barron coupon from?

        • jennifr1966

I found under SS's Walgreens listing:
-$1.50 off Red Baron Pan Pizza or Pan Pasta SS 4/25
-.75/1 off Red Baron Single-Serve Pizza SS 2/28 (exp 5/2)
          Hope this helps!

    • Tonya

Where is the free makeup? I cannot find it anywhere. I am probably just completely missing it!

      • Amy J.

I was wondering the same thing…….my best guess would be if you have the right amount of ECB's from last week, then the Rimmel would be free.

    • kayjo

Since the Biotene is $4.99, and two will cost only $9.98, will I have to buy something else to get the $5 ECB?

    • Deb

I have the insert in front of me here in my bedroom and I can assure you all that Nivea Q is indeed $4/1!!!

      I'm in Acworth,GA.

    • Dawn

Jenny – CVS has changed their policies. You can't use a B1G1 and a dollar off coupon on two items. Computer won't let you do it. Look back at comments on recent CVS adds and you'll see everyone's having this problem. I talked to the store manager and he said they changed the policy.

      • Lucy

Yes, you can use a $ off coupon and a B1G1 Free coupon together. CVS hasn't changed their register logic. It all depends upon the coding of the B1G1 Free coupon.

For example, this past week if you purchased the Oral B toothbrushes and the cashier scanned B1G1 Free coupon before the $1.00 off coupon, the B1G1 coupon “attached” itself to two products so it beeped if another coupon was used. But, if you handed the cashier the $1.00 off coupon then the B1G1 Free coupon, there were no beeps. Many P&G coupons work that way.

I used the B1G1 Free Reach Total Care Floss and $1.00 off Floss coupons this morning without any beeps.

        • Mom2Ryley

Well, I had a problem this past week with the Tresemme deal that had B1G1 coupons and $2 off coupons. The cashier tried BOTH ways ($2 first then B1G1 and vice versa) and it STILL beeped. She keyed it in, but wasn't happy about it and mentioned that she has to sign off on it and she hoped she didn't get in trouble later. So I wouldn't say for sure they HAVEN'T changed their policy. I also had trouble with this today while doing the Reach deal and the cashier did just the same as before and tried it both ways. She eventually put it in.

          • Amy J.

Yes, Mom2Ryley, I had the same problem w/ the Tresemme deal as well, but the cashier did the override anyway…..thankful for that. Not sure if they've changed their policy or if it's something to do with how the coupons are coded. The Nivea transaction (I did just prior to the Tresemme transaction) worked just fine for me w/ the B1G1 coupons for both the lip gloss and the body wash.
Hard to say what the difference is……

            • Amy J.

(I used $ off for the Nivea body wash as well as the B1G1….just thought I'd clarify)

            • KrisAllen

I also had a problem with tresmme and she just said she couldn't. Being a retail worker, I didn't press her, my other coupons worked out so my total was only $0.76 anyways and I got plenty of extra bucks. Didn't wanna risk her getting in trouble.

          • Marina C.

I did the Nivea deal last night and used Bogos and additional coupons, I also did the Tresseme last week. I had no problems at all. I always make sure I have as many items as I do coupons, this especially comes in when you are using a CVS coupon for additional money off your total. If I am handing the cashier 7 coupons I make sure I have 7 items, even if I have to add in a small item to get to 7.

            • jennifr1966

I realize that's the way it is already at Walgreens, but I like that you match the number of items to coupons. It's a good habit to get into, and probably would save some hassle!

        • auburncindy

Also had the same problem today with the Nivea B1G1. The cashier tried it both ways and it beeped both times. She wasn't happy that she had to delete and start over only for it not to work. So I overspent $4! Bummer!

          • RobinB78

I had the same issue at my CVS. It didn't work the first way. She scanned the 2- $2 off then the B1G1. Only 1 B1G1 went through. So she redid it doing the BOGOs first, then only one of the $2 coupons scanned. At least though, that way I only overspent by $2 to make up that coupon instead of the $4 the other way around!! :-)

      • Mrssmith

I did try that recently and it wouldn't work and she wouldn't put it through even though I told her it usually works just fine. Hmmmm.

        • Kate

BOGO an $ off combos haven't been working at my CVS lately either.

          • jennifr1966

I visited my rural hometown this weekend, and Wags offers a lot there that is not at mine. I wonder if that makes a difference, between a bigger city and a rural one.

      • Vicki

Just got back from my CVS and used the B1G1 and the $1 off coupons with no problem. Lucky I guess.

      • Kate

The register let me use the B1G1 and $1 off Nivea Lip care but the cashier wouldn't accept it and voided it out anyway. I thought that was kind of weird.

        • jennifr1966

WHAT?!! I'm one who NEVER complains, especially since I've got to come back, but I would have had to question that. If she insisted, I would have nice-and-friendly, casually asked the manager if she knew why the girl did that, could she be new or something and have her look over the transaction. Some people are just very worried about getting in trouble with their jobs so they're willing to throw others under the bus.

    • Lucy

With this deal: “$5 ECB wyb $10 GlaxoSmithKline products pictured”, you don't have to purchase $10. The ECB is printing with a purchase of $9.96. So, if you buy 4 of the Aquafresh toothpastes that are 2/$4.98 and use four $1 off coupons, your oop total will be $5.96 but you'll receive a $5 ECB. Basically you'll pay $.24 ea for the toothpaste.

Combine the toothpaste deal with the Reach Floss where you make $1.01 profit after coupons/ECB and you'll walk away with free toothpaste and free floss.

    • Jennifer

From what I can tell the only CVS facial coupon still available is the towelettes. Are the others no longer available?

    • rebekahlittle88

I always have a problem with the register saying that I exceed the coupon limit. I run into that almost every week! Does anyone else? I was told that if they over ride it they are taking a loss and will get in trouble for doing it. Any advice?

    • Mysterious_Mentalist

      A) I am not seeing CVS brand cleansing Qs at all. Am I missing on something?

      B) To make it clear, ECBs usually print if you are short of few (possibly up to 5) pennies to the total. That means, if you need total $15 to get ecb, then $14.97 total towards the purchase has definitely worked for me.

      C) I am confused about Nivea. I do have $4/1 Nivea BW Qs but it also says 'for women (BW)”, and I also have $3/1 Bw for men's as well in my region. Nivea BW for men in my store are for $4.99 each. The womens ones, 2 out of 5 varieties of 16oz BW are for 5.99 (not 4.88) and the rest are 6.99 (or even 7.99-not sure). There are new 8 oz Bw for women that are regularly priced (but qualify for ecbs) are for 6.99 (or 7.99-I forgot which one or the other).

Therefore, if I buy 3 mens Nivea BW for 14.97 (best scenario because tax would be lowest), use $3 off Qs, it wil be $5.97 oop (plus tax) and get back $5 ecb. So it is not a moneymaker. Similar deal with womens BW or combo of women's and men's will not yield “moneymaker” because the Q value is more for womens bw, so is the price higher for womens BWs. All possible combinations will have OOP, not free, let alone moneymaker. What am I missing here?

      • jhoran

Target sell the nivea body wash for women at 3.99. You might want to use those 4.00 q 's there instead. That's what I plan to do. Also, there is a q for 5.00 for target gift card in sunday's paper when wyb scrubbing bubbles extend-a-clean power sprayer. Pair that with the 5.00 manu. q and its a 2.00 money maker.

      • Toni

Are you sure they aren't on sale for $4.88 each? My circular says they are on sale even though the shelf tags weren't up yet. Scan the item at the red box to see if it is on sale, but just not marked. Or, maybe you are in an area where they aren't on sale??? I am in the Atlanta area.

    • Brenda

I am not able to print coupons that are by coupons.com – the error message tells me to go to the advanced properties and verify that the option “keep printed documents” is not checked. That option is not there for me to check or uncheck. Any other suggestions?

      • Lisa

Usually to change this, you have to go to Control Panel, Printers, then open the Printer Properties of your printer. There should be an Advanced tab or button somewhere in this dialog box, then you need to uncheck the “Keep printed documents” checkbox. The coupons.com website checks for this setting before it will print to your default printer.

For those of you needing to get Pamper’s, here’s a link to $3 off Pamper’s CVS store coupon!!!

      • Annie

Thank you! I realized I got this e-mail for $4/$20 a few days ago but never scrolled down to see this coupon! awesome!

    • Brandie

I can't find the reach floss coupons in my RP 1/3? Any suggestions? Thanks!

    • Amanda

Just wanted to thank Jenny again for her hard work.. I went to cvs and I got the depends, 5 nivea boody washes, and and an 82 count box of pampers for free. I started with $5.oo ecb from sunblock last week. Thank you Jenny you rock!!!

      • akllholl

        um, how? You rock!

      • jennifr1966

Amanda, I'd love to hear how you did it. I'm trying to figure it out on my own.. Ok, so you had $5 ECB to start. You Got the depends, so you got a $7 ECB (I think?) back. Then you Nivea. I was thinking 4 was around $3 but you get back $5. Did you spend everything out of pocket and then use the $17 ECBs to purchase the diapers?

    • Mom2Ryley

I decided to shop this afternoon (Sat.), b/c lately everything is wiped clean by Sun at 10am! So, in this case I got to get a little of both weeks deals. I would love to do this every week but my CVS takes it so personal! It's usually not even worth the hassle. Regardless, here's what I got:

      Started w/ $5 ECB's

      (5) Wheat Thins
      (4) Chips Ahoy!
      (4) Oreo Double Stuf
      (6) Sobe Life waters
      (3) Aquafresh Extreme Clean toothpastes
      (1) Aquafresh Iso-Active toothpaste
      (2) Reach flosses
      (1) Depend underwear, 6ct.[Not for me! lol Donating :P]

      Total Shelf Value: $68.58
      Total OOP: $5.29
      Total Saved: $63.29 or 92.29%
Got Back $9 ECB for next trip

      • Jennifer

Wow, you did pretty good!!!! And the donation of Depend underwear is really a good idea. I wonder where I can donate it? If anyone knows, please let me know!! I would love to donate some freebies I got recently. Thanks!

        • Mom2Ryley

Thanks! This was my second trip this week, so I got all this past weeks goodies on my first trip!

As far as the depends…Where I live, there is a Special Needs and Disabilities workshop where people that are mentaly handicapped go during the day. It's a state funded facility through United Way. I donate these types of items to them b/c they need them for people who have accidents through the day and need a change of clothes etc. You may be able to find a place like that wherever you are.

        • Robin

A nursing home would love to get the Depends, just make sure you ask them to give it to someone who really needs them

        • jennifr1966

Talk to friends, see if they know someone who is keeping their elderly parent at home. Or, talk with Hospice. They'll definitely know someone who can barely afford things. I wish I could print, but something's wrong with my printer. All my ECBs became mysteriously missing yesterday (have kids), so I have to start over! I'm still thinking of doing the Depends. It's a good start for me, and I could donate to my neighbor who is watching her mom at home who had a stroke.

          • luckysmomabram

I'm also giving them to a stroke surviver!! My mother-in-law had a stroke 9 moths ago and has been using them “just in case” she's not as fast making it to bathroom.Your donations will be happily recieved to who they go to!!! They have given her so much confidience to leave our house and be around people again.

        • rhall

          Donate to your church pantry.

        • Anonymous

I just made some phone calls to double check; you can put personal items out by your mailbox (in a grocery bag) along with canned goods and other non-perishables tomorrow for Stamp Out Hunger, and your postal delivery worker will pick them up!

      • KrisAllen

Yeah to get paid to buy the depends, I think a lot of people are looking to donate them, I asked my mom right away if grandma was using them (HAHA such a convo) but she doesn't so we'll be looking into it. I love being able to get paid to buy things I can donate! Not like I don't love donating things for free, but still..haha

    • Leigh

Is anyone else having trouble with the SOBE coupon? I haven't been able to find it! Thanks for the help!

      • Leigh

Never mind…I got it to work!

    • Leslie

Question…I just recently got a $5 off $40 purchase coupon from CVS on my receipt. Can I do 2 of the Nivea ECBs deals in one transaction and get back $10 ECBs or do I have to do them in seperate transactions?

      • brooke_b

You can do it all in one transaction up to 5 times because it has a limit of five. And it will print the ECB for that deal all together – instead of getting 2 seperate tickets for 5 ECB each you will get 1 for 10 ECB or 15 ECB etc.

        • Mistletoes405

I tried doing all 5 in one transaction today and only got $5 EBC back. My circular said Limit 1. I ended up returning 9 bottles and getting the rest at Publix. :( Could I have done it in separate transactions or is my imit just less at my store??

          • brooke_b

I didn't think about the circulars having different limits. No if it said limit one it will only give you the ECB 1 time. On Jenny's list is says limit 5.

          • Anonymous

you needed to do it in separate transactions. Always check the bottom of the receipt and it will tell you when you’ve reached the limit. Its supposed to be limit one, but for some reason, it keeps letting you do more.

    • brooke_b

Could some one please tell me if this will work? I am wanting to do the old spice deoderant deal. I am going to do it exactly how Jenny put it in her deal idea-

      Buy:
      (4) Old Spice Deodorants $4 ea
      (2) Old Spice Body Washes
      Use:
      (2) B1G1 Old Spice Deodorant RP 4/18
      -$1/2 Old Spice RP 5/02
      (2) Free Body Wash wyb Deodorant PG 5/02
      Total Due: $7
Get Back: $2 ECB, makes it 83¢ ea

But I have 2) Buy 1 Old Spice Body Wash and Get 1 Old Spice Body Wash Free Q's. Since in the deal idea- you are buying 2 deoderants and using 2 Q's for the next 2 deoderants which are B1G1 – from those free deoderants you are using the 2) Q's for free bodywash wyb deoderant and receiving 2 body washes- My question is – I have 2 Q's for Buy any 1 Old Spice Body Wash and Get 1 Old Spice Body Wash Free- Can I use those on the free body wash I got from the B1 deoderant G1 Body wash?? Since in the beginning of this deal you were using the free deoderant to use the Q for the first free body wash. Sorry ya'll I know this was a really confusing post! I explained it as well as I could I hope some one could help – thank you!

    • Mom me

No nivea coupons at all in the Post and Courier bummer :(

    • KelliSC

I have been seeing mention of $$ off a purchase of $20 coupons from CVS and I can not seem to figure out why I have not received any. I have an extra care card. I am signed up for their e-mails, and have been for weeks. All I seem to receive are the internet coupons for $20 off $60 on-line only. What am I missing??
      Thanks! :-)

      • ireneY

Try entering your CVS # online, linking it with your email.

      • homeisthebeachnow

I registered in March and just got my 1st email w/ coupons for $5 off $30 purchase on Friday.

      • BarbaraSC

I've gotten 2 of them in one week when I scanned my card at the Care card machine at the entrance of the store….You can scan it twice each visit.

      • jennifr1966

I just got something similar from scanning my card, but it was only $5 off of $40, which I doubt I'll be doing, so I'm probably out of luck. :(

    • marlee803

What Nivea coupon did the State (Columbia Area) get? Any at all??? I am so excited, haha!!

      • sg

I live in Columbia and get the State Newspaper and I did not see the coupon in RP.
        sg

    • kpojero

I scanned my card today before shopping and got $2 off any 2 bar soap or body wash. Made my nivea deal even better.

    • Natalie559

The rimmel deal includes almay. I scanned my card last week and received a $5 off 2 almay cosmetics. Combine that with the papers $1off coupons = cheap makeup.

    • Gagirl

For those buying body washes when I went into CVS and scanned my card at the station to print coupons it printed $2.00 off ANY body wash or soap. That made the Nivea off almost free. At CVS Today I made three transactions spent $13.24 and saved $69.58 over 84% off!

      • jennifr1966

Thank you very, very much! Knowing this tip, I scanned my card and got something uninteresting. I waited a few minutes and tried again, hoping to get your deal, and I did! I'm going back today to pick up the Nivea. (A new truck is coming.) Thanks again! I'm planning to give one to a neighbor who's feeling down and yet is always giving to us.

    • Beth

My RP 5/02 did not include a $4 off Nivea Body Wash. Can I find this online somewhere?

    • Suemh

I just bought my newspapers and there are no CVS or Walgreen's circulars in them. This was the Greenville News. Did any of the papers have the circulars? Ordinarily this is no big deal but I am signed up for the CVS advisory panel and was scheduled to take a survey based on these circulars today. I would receive $10 ECB's for taking the survey.

      • Suemh

Also, could someone tell me if The State got the Nivea coupon? The Greenville News did not.

      • annemarie73

I am in GA and get the AJC. Mine had the CVS circulars but not the Walgreens. I didn't qualify for that survey, but got $2 ecbs for trying. Congrats. Do you live far from CVS and Wags? You could always go to the stores and get the circulars.

        • Suemh

No, it is about 30 miles to Wags and 20 to CVS. I wonder if I could look at them online on another computer and do the survey. I also wonder if it was intentionally not in the Greenville News. Can someone tell me if it was in Columbia's The State.

          • annemarie73

Shew. Thank goodness mine are just down the street. I don't know what I would do if I had to go that far. I hadn't thought about looking at it online. You can definitely look online and find it. Just open in a new tab or window, you wouldn't have to use 2 computers. Hope you find it!

        • Suemh

Just FYI. My son got the circulars when he bought The State paper, so I was able to do the survey. Also, yesterday I received a different survey for which I did not qualify but still got $2 ECB. Yay!!! $12 free from CVS.

      • KrisAllen

in our GVille News it had CVS and Rite Aid but no Walgreens. I think they must have had someone new or someone lazy working last night.

Also, how did you get in on this survey thing?

        • jess

I was wondering how you do the survey too. Just google cvs advisory pannel. This brought it right up for me.

        • Suemh

Just go to cvsadvisor(dot)com and sign up. I have been sent 4 surveys since I signed up in early December. Even if you don't qualify, you still get something. I qualified for all but one and have received a total of $28 in ECB's!

      • Jen

You can just look at the ads online for that! I had to do that because I didn’t get the paper the week they sent me the survey.

    • Casie

I didn't see the Nivea Body Wash coupon in the RP coupon. Anyone know where the -4 off coupon is?

      • Joanne

In mu RP I do have the $4 Nivea coupon. It is opposite the Ocean spray coupon.
I am in Fl, i get all the coupons usually in my paper.
        good luck

    • skylandteacher

I have been through my Smart Source coupons and do not see the $5.00 miralax. Is it possible that it was not included in mine? As many times as I have looked, I find it hard to believe that I am overlooking it.

      • Suemh

        Coupons vary by region.

      • Anonymous

        I can’t find it either.

    • lynn

what is the CVS Pharmacy Big Savings! Booklet? and where do i get one? thanks!

    • lynn

my day started out on the wrong note. i do not know what happened but the birmingham newspapers looked as if they had literally been thrown together and there were no rp or pg inserts in most of them. i did find one that had a pg insert after looking through about 10 of them, so then i just broke down and went to the self-seve paper box ($2 instead of 99 cents) but anyway and when i opened it, after it took my money, there was only the first section that is put in to the little window and i could tell that someone had taken the inserts out of that one. maybe i can find another one somewhere else….just needed to vent to people who could truly understand. thanks!

      • kathi

Try calling your newspaper office tomorrow morning. Ours will replace parts of home-delivered papers, no idea about machine/store bought ones

      • Molliec

I am in Auburn, and buy the B'ham paper also. I didn't have a PG insert in mine either….

        • I live in Birmingham and we did have the PG insert in the paper this week. I am not sure if maybe by accident you missed it or they left it out of the papers going to Auburn. I have found that if I pull the papers from the middle of the stack I am more likely to get all the inserts. Just a suggestion. Sorry you missed the PG insert. Those are my fav too.

    • Molliec

Just a quick FYI- when i was doing my CVS run today, I spoke with the pharmacist and they are taking back all recalled childrens zyrtec and tylenol products without a reciepet (even if it is used) and offering a store credit.

      • Abigail

You should be able to do this at any CVS. The recall includes infant drops tylenol and motrin, children's tylenol, motrin, zyrtec and benadryl. I know that there have been lots of deals lately involving some of these products so mommies beware!!

    • gross101

Betty Crocker Warm Delights are on sale for $1.00. There is a coupon in SmartSource this week for $0.75/1. Makes them $0.25!

      • RobinB78

No such coupon in my SmartSource. :-( Oh well. $.50 is still good for a little treat!!

      • jennifr1966

Try looking in the 3/28/2010 SS #2 Insert. You'll find it there!

    • jnjtaxi

The CVS in Pleasant Grove, Al had the CVS acetaminophen in the double packs for $4.49
with 2.00 ECB. That made it 100 tablets instead of 50. GREAT DEAL!!

    • joanna00

Just did my CVS trip! I'm still getting the hang of CVS-ing, but I love it! Unfortunately, I misplaced 3 ECBs so I'm a little mad at myself about that, but I still had a great trip!

      Started with $5 ECBs
      3 Women's Nivea Body Wash
      1 Men's Nivea Body Wash
      1 Colgate Total toothpaste
      2 Gillette Deodorants

      Total before coupons – $32.65
      Oop – $10.27
      Got back $8 ECBs
Looking forward to even more spectacular deals in the coming weeks!

    • brooke_b

Sorry for posting this again. Just trying to find some one to answer my question!

      • Ashley

I know that you can't have more coupons than items. In Jenny's deal, that is what she followed, since the $1/2 essentially counts as 2 coupons. Therefore, she bought 6 items and used “6” q's. So I am thinking you can either do what she did or get:

        4 Deodorants
        2 Body Washes
        Use:
        2 B1G1 Deodorant
2 Free Body wash wyb Deo
        2 B1G1 Body wash

Say all of these items are $4 including body wash. That comes out free, and I think it 'll work.

        • Ashley

          Plus a $2 profit after ECB :)

          • Ashley

Let me know if that's right if it works for ya…. it's late, I'm tired, but I think you found a good deal.

            • diane

If you are already getting the body washes free with the free body wash when you buy de, then the b1g1 body wash doesn't do anything for you. I don't think they'll let you take the same item off 2 times.

            • Ashley

Ok I change my story on this. My newest pondering over this scenario is:

              Buy:
              4 Deo
              4 Body wash
              Use:
              2 B1G1 Deo
2 B1G1 Free Body wash wyb Deo
              2 B1G1 Body wash
              $1/2

So the only thing that’s different is you need to buy 2 more body wash and add $1/2. If they are all $4 it would be: $32.00 minus $25 in q’s = $7 w/ a $2 ECB. Throw in a $5 off $30 CVS if you have it and it’s all free.

            • Ashley

              Aggh there’s a 2nd $2 ECB since it’s limit 2 so $2 profit lol

            • brooke_b

This is exactly what I was trying to do. I am going to CVS tomorrow — Will let ya'll know how it goes! Mysterious_Mentalist, Ashley & Diane thank you so much for trying to help me with this scenario and giving me a different perspective on this – I know it was hard to follow and I really appreciate the response!

            • Anonymous

One can argue that manuf. “free” Q. item has already been “sponsored” by another item, so it can no longer “sponsor” another free item and on. With your scenario logic, I could add free Old Spice spray wyb deo Qs and get two or four more (spray) items free.

Going back to your scenario, 2 “parent” deos ($1/2 Q. will apply) can only sponsor two free items. Thus, you may choose either two free deos or two free Bw or a combo. Those items that have been “sponsored” free can no longer “sponsor” any more items. It is kinda debatable, though. However, it should be ok at CVS or I hope so given their open-mindedness. CVS will still get the full reimbursement (on items/Qs that we would otherwise not buy/use).

      • Mysterious_Mentalist

This is a very technical and complex scenario. I intend to do a similar one. I have done similar ones for Gillette when they had the same types of Qs out. To make it simple, one manuf Q per item. Though, Qs like $1/2 Qs are debatable if they should be tied up to two of the same item and thus excepts the one Q. per item rule.

I would keep it simple. Do it in two transactions:-

Buy 2 deos, 2 BW, Use one B1G1 Deo free, (you are still buying two deos as registered/scanned on the receipt), so use two B1 deo G1 BW. Somewhat debatable, you may also use $1/2 deo Q per rule that one Q per item is good to go. You would get all for $3 from the “parent” Deo. Thus, the cost of each would be less than $1.

If you choose to go all at one, again somewhat debatable:

        Buy 4 deos, 4 BW

Use one $1/2 for the two “parent” deos, two B1 deo G1 deo, four B1 deo G1 bw (argument here being that you are still registering/scanning the item on receipt and actually “paying” for them in the form of Qs, so the BW Qs should kick in and be applied.) This is better since you will get all 8 items for $7.

However, there might be a twist or argument to this transaction. One might argue that two deos of 4 have been “used up” by using two free deo Qs, and therefore, no further Qs can be credited to the purchase. That would mean, the two “parent” deos can only sponsor two items (either the deo or the BW or combo but no more than two items). In that case, you would just have to buy either 4 deos only OR 2 deos and 2 BW OR 3 deos and 1 BW and so on.

I like to hear the perspective on this if anyone has any.

        • jhoran

Lol. I can't take it!!!!!!!!!!!!! Your explanation just blew my mind – and I mean literally, totally blew my mind. Thanks for giving me a migraine.

        • whitneybutler

This is certainly a debatable issue. I agree with Jenny's transaction because the B1G1 Deodorant/Bodywash Q is dependent upon a qualifying purchase of the deodorant. th You should only be able to get as many free bodywashes as deodorants that you hadn't already used a coupon on. I always try to think of it as the B1G1 coupons applying only to the product that the $ amount was subtracted from, once you've done that no more coupons can be used on that item and it can no longer be used as a qualifying purchase for another item. If you do want to get around this you can, though. You can fool the register in essence if you give the free bodywash coupons first (4 of them) you would have all of your qualifying purchases still intact, then hand them the B1G1 deodorant (2 of them). Finally, you are left paying for two deodorants which you may you a “cents off” coupon on.

    • Jenny there is a better deal this week on the Betty Crocker Warm Delights.. $1.00 Each

Stack with coupon -$0.75/1 Warm Delights SS 5/2 (makes them $0.25 each)

    • Cathy

Why can't I print my CVS coupons. Help! This is my first attempt at the art of CVSing!

    • Jennifer

Just went to CVS! They emailed me a -$4 off $20 purchase coupon! I got the case of 96 Pampers Diapers for a GREAT deal!
      Sale Price- $19.99
      1 Filler item for.88
      -$4.00 off $20 purchas
      -$1.50 PG coupon
      -$5.00 ECB
      $11.68 OOP
      +$5.00ECB Received!!!

    • stacey

For the GlaxoSmith $5 ECB wyb $10 worth it says limit 2. Can I buy $20 worth all in one transaction and then get 2 $5 ECB's at the same time? Or would I have to do 2 separate $10 transactions?

      • Sarah

If you did not want a $10 ECB, than you would have to do 2 separate transactions. They combine the ECB's if you put them in the same transaction.

      • jhoran

Yes. Your limit is 2, so you are entitled to 2 rewards and therefore you can do it in 1 transaction.

    • bookbeth

Thank you, thank you to whoever posted the CVS store policy to go along with the Kodak DVD B1G1 offer. When I tried this at my local CVS, it rang up for $14.99. The clerk said she would have to talk to the manager when I told her that since CVS had a B1G1 and I had a B1G1 coupon from Kodak they should both be free. When the manager came I told him that I was surprised, too but that the CVS policy said that was the way it worked and gave him the printed policy (that I got here!!), whereupon he rang it up and I got 2 picture movie DVD's for just the $1.08 tax!!!

    • Raquel

I live in Jefferson, Ga. Outside of atlanta. Publix is the only place in my county that sells the ajc. I get there at 3pm, they sold out of all papers at 1pm. For CEREAL! I was lucky enough to catch an athens banner hearld with some coupons, but no nivea body wash coupons, stinkers!

    • jackid

So my Sunday newspaper forgot to put the redplum insert in I am totally bummed!!!

      • Ashley

Mine didn’t have the smartsource where I bought it during my trip to Charleston!!! You aren’t missing anything with the RP. I want the the SS!

    • Annie

Got a box of pampers diapers for $6.50! Thats like 6 cents a diaper! wo hoo! Thanks Jenny!

      • beckyr

Is this the ad for this week? I noticed Jenny did not add the $3 CVS pamper Q which I have. How did you do your transaction? I am trying to help a friend by buying diapers for her. Thanks.

        • Annie

oh sorry. I used a $4/$20 coupon i got in my email, a $3 of pampers diapers from the same email, a $1.50 manu coupon and $5 ECB's. I had more ECB's but I try not to use more ECB's on an item than I will be getting back. In essence I was really paying $1.50 because I got back 5 ECB's as well but i don't figure it that way. Hth!

      • beckyr

I think I just figured it out:
        $20 – 5ecb= $15
        $15- 3cvsQ + 1.50mQ= $10.50
        If you used a $4/20= $6.50

I just need to get ahold of a $4/20! :)

      • whitneybutler

What coupons did you use to get this deal?

    • Peter

Cannot find the Nivea coupons in the Greenville paper. anyone else having this problem?

      • elisa

I didn't get them in the Greenville paper either. =(

    • jess

I'm just trying to get this straight. If I do the Transaction #1 above and get 4 body washes, use 3 $1 coupons, and 1 BOGO coupon I will still get the extra care bucks? So the bucks are off the price before coupons?

      • Amy

Yes you just have to meet the minimum before coupons or any other dollars off, such as ECBs or $5 off $30 that you might be using.

    • Purpledsilver

Just did my CVS run for the week.

      4xNivea 4.88
      1xOlay 3.99

      2 $4/1 Nivea
      2 $3/1 Nivea
      1 $2/1 Olay
      1 $2/1 Any Bodywash SC
      1 $5 ECB
      Total Due: 1.69
      Earned: $5 ECB

Of that total due $1.18 was sales tax.

    • mamabird

How are you getting 3 $4 off Nivea body wash coupons from RP 5/2? Are you buying 3 newspapers?

      • Ashley

That would be a yes…. orrr coupon clipping websites

      • Most of the experienced couponers on here buy at least 2 papers a week. Only once in the past 4 months have I bought only one. 2-3 times I have bought 4.

    • RobinB78

Does anyone know if I can use my $4 off $20 coupon from my email more than once? I couldn't find anything that says “only one per person” or the like.

      • RobinB78

Boo- I found it. My printer just didn't feel like printing out the “one offer per person” part for me. Oh well.

where did you get the Crest 3D White Rinse q?

          • tanyawood

I found them in a box of crest pro health teeth paste that had a sample of Crest 3D strip on it. That I also couponed (at CVS) and got one free and the second for .75 so I have 2 of each.

      • gamego71

What is the green bag tag?

        • a tag you purchase for 99 cents and each time you bring your own reusable shopping bag, they scan the card. Every 4 times it gives you an extra buck!!

        • tanyawood

They are .99 to buy at the register it looks like a leaf and you put it on your reusable bag. And every 4 or 5 scan gets you a 1 ECB back.

    • jessaka08

Does anyone know how I can fid the $4 off Nivea body wash coupon?

      thanks!

      • jennifr1966

Jess, I found mine in yesterday's Red Plum insert, because I don't have my All You magazine and can't seem to find it around town! You can get a GREAT deal with it. Start with scanning your card a couple times til you get a $2 off Body Wash coupon. Then, add the $4 off coupons to four Nivea body washes (for women). $4.88-$4=$0.88×4=$3.52-$2=$1.52 for four! (And you get $5 ECBs with it!)

All You magazine is only available at Walmart or by subscription. I seached all over for it before attending Jenny's class and learning where to find it. hth

      • buy the SUnday paper… or order that specific Q from one of the Clipping services.

    • SG

I would like to take advantage of the Revlon offer. Please someone let me know if I can do the following. Use $3 off $15 purchase of Revlon Color Cosmetics, $4 off the purchase of TWO Revlon Eye or Lip Cosemtics, $3 off any Revlon Color, All CVS coupons; then use, $2 MQ, $2 MQ, and $1 MQ. Can all these be done at one time. If so that would be great! Thanks in advance, SG

      • LeAnnaShaw

IF your purchases are adding to 15…first give them your 3/15 coupon(once I gave the wrong coupon first…took my total to under 20….and then could not use my 4/20!-so be careful)..then mq's. I think you will have to do seperate transactions though. I.E you could not use 2 3/15 coupons w/ a 30 order. But from my recolection-the lipstiscks were 8.99….

    • uscgamecockgirl

Just thought I would share :) Went to Piggly Wiggly yesterday and recieved a FREE newspaper…with 3 COPIES OF EACH COUPON BOOKLET IN IT !!!! I was sooooo excited !!!

    • Shirley

Has this happened to anyone? I was at my CVS and I scanned my card. I got a $3/$15 coupon to print. So that was cool. I shopped around and 15 mins later, I ended at the card scanner again, and just for the heck of it, I scanned my card again. Another $3/$15 coupon printed off. Very cool, so I loitered around for another 5 mins, scanned my card again, lo and behold, another $3/$15 coupon prints. I thought what the heck, let's try another 5 mins later. This time I got a $3 off any L'Oreal moisturizer and $1/3 CVS candy bags. I had to go by then, so I left it at that. I had scanned my card once the day before too. Has this happened to you, have you tried re-scanning your card the same day? Are we allowed 3 prints of the same coupon?

      Just curious. Cheers

      • carolgoss

I don't know the answer to your question. I guess if you had 3 separate $15 transactions you could use the 3 coupons. What I want to know is how you get so lucky?? I never get those coupons. Only $1 off candy or something like that.

        • Shirley

I am not sure how I got the coupons, but I went again today and all I got was 1 printing, a $2 off any body wash and a $1/2 CVS cleaning item. I tried again 5 mins later and it said that was all for today. Yep, I am psyched that I got those coupons, just in time for the Nivea deal. I have just confirmed that my area gets the $4off1 body wash. I plan to do 4 body wash, use 4 coupons, 1 $3/$15 and pay just 52cents + tax. No ECB required. YAY I am hoping that I'll get enough Nivea coupons to do at least 2 of these transactions. Crossing my fingers.

          • Jennifer

Wow!! You are so lucky. In my CVS, usually I can only scan once/day, even I go to another CVS, the machine wouldnt print, not to say to print 3 coupons in the same CVS store. Way to go!!!!

          • jhoran

Just be aware that the limit on the nivea deal is only one and if your receipt says that you've reached your limit, you won't get any ebc again if you buy it a second time. Funny though, the softsoap deal was limit 2 and my receipt kept saying I had one. I did this deal 6 more times before it said I reached my limit. As for the nivea, i've also done this once and my receipt still says I have one more deal – think it will go 7 times like the softsoap????? lol

            • Shirley

Thanks for the reminder, I usually check my receipt anyway and I was planning to do the deal one at a time. I was going to do a second whether the ecb prinited or not (paying just 52cents is still a good deal). My softsoap deal from last week was strange too, the receipt said I had already done two, but it said I could do one more. It was like that 2 more later too. I seem to be having a 'twilight zone' episode at CVS since last week.

    • hrm

Did anyone have problems doing the Old Spice deal? I'm thinking about going back to get them but when I shopped yesterday the cashier took all my coupons and laid them out on the counter and told me I couldn't use the B1G1 Sobe or the B1G1 Nivea with the $4 (even though I was buying 4 body washes). I asked her if she was “sure” about this and she said she would try it and it did work but she acted all put out. So now I'm worried she is going to give me a hard time about the Old Spice if I try it.

      • hrm

Also, I had to Nivea Lip Care and wanted to use B1G1 and $1 coupons and she insisted I chose one or the other – wouldn't even try both. If I had been thinking I would have told her to take all the Nivea off and I would have just gotten it at Walgreens where they were more than happy to take my coupons.

        • crystalinva

I went just last night with the same Nivea coupons for the lip care. I handed my coupons to the cashier and told her I wasn't sure if I could use both and she said…let me see, scanned them and said yep with a smile. She also asked me what website I use. Told her Southern Savers and she smiled and said she's heard good things about this site. :o) I hope I can have that experience every time! :o)

      • carolgoss

I have learned what cashiers to avoid because of this kind of attitude. Some act as if my savings are coming out of their paycheck! CVS gets refunded for all those coupons that I use and we shouldn't feel guily for taking advantage of a bargain. If I shop during lunchtime at my local CVS it is usually busy and the store manager will open another register. If I go to him he just scans them and out the door I go with a “thank you” and no hassle.

    • tahsha

Help me please!!!!! I have been printing qs for 2 years now without any issues. All of a sudden today, both computers are not printing them…..can someone please help me figure out why. When I click on a redplum q for example the “install coupon printer” page comes up which I obviously have done before…..however, I uninstalled it and then reinstalled it, and the message still keeps coming up and not printing. Also, when I click the “print coupon” button on a Bricks q a screen comes up wanting a zip code typed in…. I do this and then enter, and it acts like it's going to print with the little computer to printer bubble icon thing, but it does that for forever and never prints…..If this were just on one computer, I'd figure it was something with the computer, but since it's on both- I'm totally baffled, and I only know enough about computer to be dangerous. :) I need to go shopping tonight, and I can't print a single q! Oh, the horror! I have restarted both computers and tried on ie as well as ff, all with no luck- Please tell me that this is a simple fix that I am just to ignorant to know how to. (I am posting this in several comments sections hoping for a faster solution- please forgive me if you come across this several times.)

      • wreed

I have had the same problem for several weeks. I can't get RP or SS coupons to print from any of my computers, I'm getting the same response as you. Would also like to know what to do, if you get an answer, please share!!

      • Heather

I had the same problem and what I did was to reinstall firefox and internet explorer. I then restarted and it asked me to reinstall the coupon printer on internet explorer and I did and it worked. I can't get it to work on firefox though. Hope this helps you.

      • Look at this link for how to fix bricks coupon links for IE/Firefox:
        http://slickdeals.net/forums/showthread.php?t=987337

    • Keren

The add also showed a free Gilette or Old Spice body wash when you purchase the Gilette Mach 3 cartridges. There was a $4 off coupon for the cartridges in the 5/2 PG insert. Do you think I can also use the B1G1 Gilette Body Wash from the same insert and end up with 2 free body washes??

      • Stephanie C.

I had the same question. Although, I was also wondering about using the BOGO body wash Q along with the razor $4 Q, and the body wash $4 Q. Technically, you're getting 3 items and using 3 Q's. If it worked, I think you'd get razor cartridges, and both body washes free. I'm going to try it tomorrow.

    • Lotsaboys

I LOVE this site! Thanks to Jenny for making it so easy! I am addicted and I tell all my friends.
I am still learning, but hit my first snag last night. I went to CVS to get the $5 ECB wyb Pampers Diapers 48-96 ct $19.99. I had $4.50 ECB, the $1.50 Q from PG, and a $4 off $20.
I have large boys (size 6) diapers. The size 6 diapers were regular price (23.99) and I didn't get any ECB. I still did pretty well, but was sad I didn't get more ECB to start again next time.
I asked the cashier, she said onyl certain ones are included even though sizes are not excluded in the ad.
Just wanted to see if anyone else had any issues.
      Love the site :o)

      • Kelly

I bought the box of size 6 Pampers Cruisers today. They rang up at $23.99, but I pointed out to the cashier that the ad says 48-96ct. The size 6 are 48ct. She used a box of size 5's to ring it up and I paid $19.99 and got my 5 ECB's with no problem. I would go back and speak to the manager with your receipt.

    • asenett

Is the depends deal regional I don't see it in the week flyer?

      • Suemh

I did not see it at first either. I was looking for the typical green package in the photo so I skipped right over it. I don't remember where it was in the circular, but the picture looks like a package of socks or panties. I actually has 3 “Depends” rolled up and they are different pale colors.

      • guest

The deal is on the very back page at the bottom.

    • RobinB78

OMG! Jenny I LOVE YOU!!! Had my first real CVSing experience today! I went in armed with some Southern Saver advices, $11 in ECB and my CVS card, I walked out a little while later with $47.44 in product, of which I only paid $7.92 for! And $4 of what I paid, was tax!!! AND I have another $8 ECB for next week!!! Thank you for showing me the way Jenny!!!!! I can't wait to do it again!!!!

    • carolgoss

In the mail today I received a coupon for $5 when you purchase $15 of any Olay, CoverGirl, Pantene, Herbal Essences, Head & Shoulders Nice n Easy or Natural Instincts products. Yay!! The postcard/coupon also mentions a Rouge magazine. I've never seen a Rouge magazine. Is it a CVS publication??

      • homeisthebeachnow

        I think it's a Johnson & Johnson publication.

      • stirfry101

I got that one too! :) Rogue is a free magazine that comes in the mail. Google it and you should be able to sign up for a subscription for free. It has a page of tear out coupons on the back usually.

    • Gina

I'm not sure if anyone has done this, But when you go into CVS scan your card 2 times.. It should give you 2 sets of coupons from the scan machine. I did it today and got dove mens soap 2 bars for 50. What a great deal!

      • I scan my card as many times as it takes for it to tell me no more coupons available today.

    • DawnCDP

How do you get the 3 off of 15 deal I've seen mentioned?

      • The $3/$15 is a coupon that is either emailed to you or you get when you scan your card.

        • DawnCDP

Oh thank you! I am new to this whole thing, so I haven't gotten it all down yet!

    • bettyv

are there any $3-$4-or $5 coupons off of $25 at cvs?

    • julie

I might be crazy but I did not have a $4 nivea body wash coupon in my paper this week and I bought 3 papers so I know it wasn't just a missed flyer. I'm in Goose Creek, SC

      • logansmom318

I'm in Summerville and I didn't get one either. :( I don't think we were supposed to in our little corner of the world. That really really sucks too cause it would be an awfully sweet deal

        • guest

Sometimes coupons are regional and not all areas will get them. Sorry you missed out.

    • rankincd

i have a stupid question. What is ss and rp.

      • logansmom318

ss= Smart Source coupon insert. RP= Red Plum coupon insert. They come in the mail or in the Sunday paper depending on where you live. NOT a stupid question :)

      • lightningbug23

SS is the Smart Source coupon insert that comes in most Sunday papers and RP is the Red Plum coupon insert.

      • not a stupid question, but make sure you take the time to read the Getting Started link at the top of this page.

    • Mal

      Please help…
Did anyone try to do the Nivea deal more than once and got ECB?
Since I don't have $4 coupon for Nivea I will have to use the BIGI and $2 off coupons. Can someone tell me if they were able to do use both these coupons together in Greenville SC area? And which order I should be giving these coupons to the cashier so both the coupons will be accepted.

      • rebekahlittle88

I am from GA but I just talked with the assistant store manager of the store we always go to and she said always use B1G1 first them the others ones because the computer won't take it the other way but they do accept both. Also look at you coupons you print in the store with you CVS card…they were printing $2 off any purchase of any 2 bodywashes so you could use that one also! Good Luck!

        • Mal

          Thanks Rebeka

    • Lucy

I need to vent lol. I had a friend buy me 3 extra papers for the body wash coupons. All 3 papers looked just the same, but 2 of those were missing ALL the inserts – No P&G, no RP, no SS (of course they had a bunch of other crap) ! Is it normal or somebody took those out?

      • Someone has taken them out. I bought 4 papers and out of the 4, one insert (SS) only had part of the pages. I think that was a mistake on the newspaper peoples end.

      • NamePam

I only went out and bought extra papers once because, like you've seen, you can't count on getting all the inserts. I actually called the newspaper and their response was that sometimes the advertisers only pay for the inserts to go to certain zip codes and if the paper rack wasn't in the proper zip code, the paper wouldn't have the inserts. This actually didn't make sense in my situation, but that was the explanation I got. HOWEVER, when I missed some inserts that should have been in the paper delivered to my home and called to inquire, they said they were having problems with the machine that puts the paper together. Ads and coupon inserts alike would be left out sometimes. They offered to give me the missing inserts if I wanted to drive to their office (not very do-able for me.) So, anyway, I don't buy extra papers now, no matter how tempted I am.

      • JennOnTheGo

Someone took them, or the person responsible for inserting the inserts (usually the delivery person) just missed them. I ALWAYS check for inserts before buying. Had a CVS cashier tell me she's caught people returning the paper for refund after removing the inserts – awful!

      • Linda

I always check my papers before I purchase them. Had an unusual experience in Walgreens though. I placed my papers on the counter opposite the register that was open. I noticed that a manager and cashier came over to where I was checking the papers and started to watch me. Thought I might be stealing the inserts. They said they have this happen all the time.

    • Deshaine

Ok… tell me if I am doing this correctly:

I have TWO EACH of the following coupons:
      • $4 off Nivea body wash for Women
      • $3 off Nivea body wash for Men
      • BOGO Nivea body wash for Women

      Can I use:
      • 2 BOGOs to get 4 for women body washes
      • 2 $4 off on the 2 I didn’t get for free
      • 2 $3 off on 2 for men body washes
      • ECB $2 off any body wash

Would I still get back $5 ECB?

      $4.88 x 6 = $29.28
      Tax = $2.35
      After Qs (before $2 ECB) = $5.52

      • joyfullysaving

It looks correct to me but I read that CVS changed the BOGO policy, so you might want to make sure they take the coupon on the none free one first. Hope it works out for you looks like a great deal. Also You have to spend $15 to get the $5, you may want to throw a lip care in there with $1 Q and get $10ECB back because your total would be over $30 and it says limit 5 deals.

        • Deshaine

I just talked with Cindy @ CVS Customer Relations (800.746.7287), she indicated i COULD use BOTH coupons (BOGO & $4/1) on two Nivea body washes. She said if the cashier wouldn't process it suggest to the cashier to call CVS Customer Relations for instruction. :) Let's see if this works!!

p.s. I WILL be adding the lip treatment, to get the “rest” of my ECB. WOOHOO!!

          • Sarah

I may be mistaken…but I believe that it will still only give you 1 – $5 ECB. Because it is listed as a Limit of 1 – then only 1 – $5 ECB will print out. I believe the actual limit is 5, but you have to purchase them in seperate transactions. And as happened to myself on Sunday, I bought $19.52 worth of Nivea body wash, and at the bottom of my receipt it shows that only $15.00 went towards the deal and that $15.00 is still needed for the next deal – so it is not carrying any money over for your next Nivea deal either.

            • jhoran

You're misunderstanding the deal. The deal is 15.00, get 5 ebc, limit one It doesn't matter if you spent 19.52 or 15.00, it does not carry over. However, if the receipt shows that 15.00 is still needed, it means that you can do the deal again and you're not being limited to only one deal, so you will get another 5 ebc again.

            • Sarah

I understood :) …I was actually responding to what “joyfullysaving” had posted above mine when they said that she could throw in a lip care product to get her total over $30 so she could get a $10 ECB. I was just trying to let “Deshaine” know that you cannot buy $30.00 in Nivea products and get a $10 ECB – that she will only get $5 ECB…since it is only supposed to be a limit of 1. I know that the “real” limit is 5 but you still have to do the deals 1 per transaction. Does that make sense?

            • Deshaine

Thank you ALL! I just came from CVS… I cannot believe I have not been couponing this WHOLE TIME!!

I have two receipts from this AM… the ONLY difference is two of the lip treatments were $1 more than the other two… otherwise the transactions were the same!! 2 Nivea Women’s BW, 1 Nivea Men’s BW, 2 Nivea Lip treatments and 1 Betty Crocker Warm Delights. :)

              Transaction 1 Saved: $22.24, $2 ECB applied
Transaction 2 Saved: $26.24, $5 ECB applied (From Trans 1)
              Total Saved: $48.48

              I about peed myself.

              Transaction 1 Spent: $5.77
              Transaction 2 Spent: $4.13
              Total OOP: $9.90

              Oh… and I have $5 ECB left!!

p.s. I SHOULD have used the $2 off body wash I got from the kiosk. I would have SAVED even MORE. I am just excited about my $49 savings!!!

            • jhoran

Sorry, was just trying to help.

            • jhoran

Sorry if I'm mistaken on the nivea deal. I just looked at Jenny's list and the limit is supposed to be five, but in the newspaper it says the limit is one per household.

    • curlygoldlocks

Is there more than 1 May issue of ALL YOU? I do not see any Nivea coupons in the one I bougt today.

      • curlygoldlocks

OOPs! Never mind, just found it!

were can I find the ALL YOU mag.

It is only sold at Walmart and through subscription.

      Regarding:
$6 ECB wyb Gillette Venus Embrace or Breeze Razor $9.99 Limit 1
-$2 any Venus Embrace or Spa Breeze Razor PG 5/02 (makes it $1.99)

I was looking through my CVS flyer and noticed that on mine, it listed the razor for $8.49, I have checked your flyer against mine, it is the same one, and yours is $9.99 instead. I was wondering about the difference and just thought I'd mention it. The difference for me would make it 49cents instead.

      Cheers (from VA)

      • Sarah

They were $8.49 in my area also! I didn't look at the ad or the price tag and I even scanned it to make sure it was on sale (since it wasn't tagged as being part of the ECB deal)but I never looked at the price – I was pleasently surprised while I was checking out!! :)

    • hollylpate

Has anyone done the Old Spice Scenario?

    • Julie

Publix in Goose Creek carries the All You Magazines also.

    • Natalie559

**Free mouthwash- go to cvs . com and from the store coupons there is one for cvs citrus mouthwash $1 off, 250mL, they are on sale for $0.99, I did not see a tag but it scanned on sale at the coupon center. I do think they will limit you to one per transaction as I tried to do a couple last night and only one would go through without beeping.

Also with the nivea body washes, I had 2 $2 off body wash coupons from the coupon center and the cashier said it was fine to use both if the computer didn't beep and it didn't so that was great!

    • Deborah

I can't get the facial cleansing coupons. When I click on the print it goes to CVS site but only the cleansing pads are there. Any suggestions?
      Thanks Deborah

      • dkw

        Me either….

    • logansmom318

I don't have th $4 off Nivea coupons, but I think I may have figured out a deal almost as sweet. Kinda need to clarify though, hoping someone can help. I have $2 off 2 body washes (cvs coupon) 2B1G1 Nivea body wash and $1 off Nivea body wash for women. My question is would I be able to use both B1G1 coupons in the same transaction as long as I bought 4 body washes?

This is what I'm thinking of trying:
      (4) Nivea Body washes
      (2) B1G1 Coupons
      (1) $1 off Nivea Body wash for Women
      (1) $2 off Body wash CVS coupon
      (1) $3 off $15 purchase CVS coupon

Should make it roughly $3.76 for the 4 out of pocket. Someone corect me if I'm wrong….

      • Laura

My CVS would not let me use the $1 off Nivea coupon on top of the 2 B1G1s… might want to check. They said the B1G1 was the coupon on 2 products.

        • smaks

          From an earlier post:

“I just talked with Cindy @ CVS Customer Relations (800.746.7287), she indicated i COULD use BOTH coupons (BOGO & $4/1) on two Nivea body washes. She said if the cashier wouldn't process it suggest to the cashier to call CVS Customer Relations for instruction.”

      • nursemommy

Did this today and it worked, I used 2 of the $1 off qs!

    • Lynette

Why is it that my RP dated 5/2 does not have the $4 Q for Nivea Body Wash? Do they put different inserts in different newspapers?

      • There are coupons almost every week that are regional. The Nivea was one of those.

    • sdshaw

I went into CVS on 5/1. The last day of the last add. I bough a Revlon Eye Shadow and a Revlon Beauty Tool and used the $1 q on both of those. I noticed at the bottom of the receipt it gave me credit of the eye shadow towards my Revlon $10, but not for the beauty tool. However that wasn't listed in last weeks add. If I take the receipt back should they give me credit for the 3 ECB since I spent more than $1o in Revlon or will they not since it is dated for 5/1?

      • Dianne

Take the receipt back to CVS and explain yor situation. If you happen to still have the flyer from last week that shows the ECB deal, that would be helpful to take as well. A nice manager can “fix” this for you! HTH!

    • Dee

At my CVS Campbell's Cream of Mushroom Soup were on sale B1G1 for $1.69. There's a printable coupon somewhere (or was at least) for $1 of 2 “Great for Cooking” soups, making them .35 each!

      • ireneY

Thanks, I just printed the coupon at Campbellskitchen.com!

      • chrystalm

Thank you, I just took advantage of this great deal!

    • bethgregory

Just did one of my twice weekly shopping trips to CVS loaded with coupons, got up to the register and handed her my coupons and she would not accept my computer printed coupons!! I told her they were not copied but actually printed off a website. She said the policy had changed and they no longer accept coupons printed off a computer! I called the 800 number and after putting me on hold for quite a while the lady came back on the line and informed me that the only website they accept computer printouts from was the CVS website!! I just wanted to see if anyone else has run into that.

      • have never heard that!

      • Lucy

Never heard that either. Sorry :( Just go to a different CVS

      • ireneY

One employee at a rarely visited location told me that once. I questioned him further and he agreed to take it if it scanned. Of course, it scanned. Always ask for a manager if a cashier states a strange policy. More often than not, they are motivated to please a customer, sometimes giving you leniency in applying a “store policy.”

      • cvsgirl34

which CVS is this? Because I work for CVS is Charleston and thats news to me… I've never been told that and the computer still accepts them. Sounds to me like you've got a store thats been burned by fraud coupons. Maybe you can change stores:0)

$3 Olay 7 in 1 Anti Aging Body Wash Q in new Glamour I got today in the mail. Makes it $1 after ECB. My dilemma: Should I get it now or wait for even better deal? Free or with overage?! Lol

      • Sarah

I don't know if you shop at Walgreens as well as CVS but I just got a BOGO coupon (printed at register when I picked up a prescription) from Walgreens for this 7 in 1 body wash. You might want to see if you happen to get this and they might have a sale coming up for it where you could pick up 2 for free or cheap. My register coupon expires 7/2 so it has a while to shop for a good special to match it against.

    • Kalyn Mace Guilloux

It seems as though the Depend coupon posted is not working-I got $2.00 off TWO depend products (the ECB deal is limit one). I still got to donate, but wanted to give a heads up!

    • carlockstinger

Speaking of Nivea…here is the deal I was able to get at CVS today without having the high value $4/1 coupon…

      buy 4 Nivea body washes @ $4.88
use (2) B1G1 from All You
use (2) $2 off one body wash IP
stack with (2) CVS $2 off of 2 body wash/bar soap that printed out for me this week!

Total: $3.06 I paid with $1 ECB and a $2 CVS gift card that I had.
OOP:$.06 plus I got back $5 ECB wyb $15 in Nivea products

      I love CVS!

SO WHAT DID YOU HAVE TO BUY TO GET THE BODY WASH COUPONS OR ARE THEY ON THE SITE BECAUSE I DIDNT SEE THEM ON THERE

        • carlockstinger

I didn't have to buy anything to get the coupons for the body wash.  I was able to print (2) $2 off the internet (I think the print is no longer available) and the CVS machine printed $2 off of 2 body washes.  I went to CVS 2 days in a row so I could get 2 of the CVS coupons to stack with the internet coupons and used 2 BOGO's from the All You magazine.

    • Zelda

I am new to this and will e attending a seminar in a couple of weeks…but what magazine are you talking about in refence to the coupons ie.”April All You” and also “RP” and the date… I don't know where to acess these coupons

      • Suemh

All You is a magazine that is sold by Wal-Mart or by subscription only. There was a very good deal listed on this site just a few days ago, however, the store issue sometimes has more coupons. RP and the date refers to the coupon insert (from the newspaper) that that coupon was found in. Please click on “New to Southern Savers? Click here” just across from the title to this post on this page. A lot of your questions will be answered there.

      • Mary627

        HI Zelda,
The “April All You” is the April issue of the All You magazine and RP and the date means from the Red Plum insert in the newspaper on that date. Do you get it?

    • smaks

Has anyone completed or had problems with the old spice deal? It doesn't seem like you could get both a free deodorant AND a free body wash from purchasing just one deodorant.

    • cindyrr06

I have 5 redplum inserts from may 2nd and not a one have the nivea coupon for $4 off. can someone help me?

      • lisah2004

Some of the inserts had lunch meat instead of the nivea $4 coupon. That happened to me. Go figure! Someone fell asleep at the assembly line. LOL!

      • autball

That is so frustrating! You have to just be happy for all the great deals you do get from this site, look forward to next week, & (if you live in a small town) buy the paper from the largest nearby city!

        • 3monkeysmom

I'm thinking she might just be a new couponer and isn't complaining but is just confused about why she didn't get this particular coupon :-)

        • 3monkeysmom

Sorry!! Disregard my other comment…I think I totally misread your comment :-)
It gets confusing sometimes reading these comments b/c you don't know someone's tone when you're reading them…..so innocent comments are taken the opposite way from which they are intended.
          Sorry again!!

      • 3monkeysmom

I think these coupons were regional so some areas got them, while other areas did not. I got the Birmingham News and we got this one. Sometimes you get the “good ones” and sometimes you don't :-) Sorry you didn't get this one :-(

    • chrystalm

I just took advantage of the cvs coupon that printed out of the machine in the store. Save $2 on a 2 bar soap or body wash. My daughter is allergic to everything. I bought her the Dove 2 bar which is on sale 2 for $5. I bought 2 bars for 50 cents. Yes!!

    • Zelda

Thanks for the help! I experienced myfirst CVS ECB experience …..this is going to be GREAT! I appreciate the code explanations….and after reading the site most of hte day today I understood much more.

    • Sarah

Does anyone know if your total to get ecb's has to be what they say before tax or after? Confused, here's an example of what I mean….I bought 3 niveas a few weeks ago at 4.99 and still got my 5 ecb, but the total was only 14.97 before tax, not 15….so I'm wondering if it has to be said amount before tax or after??

      • Megan_A

It's before tax, but they'll usually round up if you're within a few cents. If the register doesn't do it automatically, the manager will usually print the ECBs if you ask.

    • Clara

I could not use 3- $4off coupons and the b1g1 coupon on the Nivea body washes. They said that the B1G1 coupon counted for two of the items I bought 4 like the deal stated above has this happened to anyone before?

      • Clara, I've run into the same issue. I used the B1G1 coupon with the $2/1 coupons for Nivea last week and the cashier did not want to take all of them. I requested a manager to approve and only after I literally set all the bottles on the counter and place a coupon in front of each bottle to visually explain that I was only using one coupon per product they let me use them. Of course, I had a reasonable and nice manager to deal with. You don't always get that lucky.
If you have the option or time, you may try a different CVS. Good luck!

      • Megan_A

At CVS you have to use the $x off coupon before the BOGO coupon. If you don't, the register applies the BOGO coupon to both items and won't let you use another coupon for one of them. You're allowed to use them both, but you have to do it in the right order.

      • Mysterious_Mentalist

This is incorrect. Some employees have difficulty grasping that concept. Qs have cash value, and you are paying for the items with Qs after fulfilling the set conditions stated on the Qs. The Qs do not state, “they can not be used with any other offer.”

    • Sarah

If i have a cvs coupon for $5 off $40…does my total have to be $40 before or after tax?

      • Mysterious_Mentalist

before taxes always anywhere you go. Taxes are not something, the retailers keep. Taxes are not revenues for retailers

    • Shannon

I'm totally confused now. I went to CVS for the Old Spice deal and ended up out of pocket having to papy 11.99 (before tax) when “the scenario” on southrn savers said the total due should be 7.00.

      I bought
4 Old Spice fresh collection deodorants @ 4.00 ea
2 Old spice Body Washes @4.99 ea.

tried to use (2) B1G1 Old Spice Deodorants
      -1/2 Old Spice
      (2) free Body Wash wyb Deodorant

The register took (2) B1G1 fresh collect deodorants
      -1/2 old spice
but would only take (1) free body wash wyb deodorant.

      What did I do wrong??????
      and -1/2 old spice

but only one free body wash wyb deodorant

Registers always beep for free Qs. Cashiers have to override and manually enter the Q. values. Looking at your transaction from technical point of view, it should have taken either both Bw Qs or none. Just one bw Q processed does not make technical sense nor logical sense. The cashier simply did not bother to process it accordingly. You should not have proceeded with the transaction if you could not stand up for the right thing to do

Technically speaking, this is how it works. Do the following in two transactions to keep it simple and less complex.

Buy 2 deos, two bw, 1 body spray
Use 1) $1/2, 1) get free deo, 2) get free bw Qs, 1) free spray Q (wyb 2 deos)

Argument being:- a) as a rule of thumb, one manuf Q. per item is good to go, b) once item is scanned on your receipt, it is a “purchase,” regardless how you pay (wether cash, credit or Qs). You are buying two deos, so $1/2 Q kicks in. Since you are buying a second deo, you are paying the second deo with a Q that has met the condition stated on it-You are purchasing one. (It is debatable if $1/2 Q is being applied to two deos here and thus the second deo is tied up already, so no free deo Q can kick in for the second one). Now you are “purchasing” two deos (although paid with Qs.), free BW Qs., two of them one “sponsored” by each deo can kick in and be applied to the two BWs. Now that you are buying 2 deos, the Q. buy 2 deos, get one spray free Q can also kick in for the spray as you are in fact purchaing two deos (here one might argue that deos have already “sponsored” two BWs, so they can no longer sponser spray-But, it can be refuted given the fact that Qs do not state any extra condition other than “buy 2 deos, get spray free.”)

I strongly believe this is legit, though technically complex for many. Also, PG must have intended them to be used as such. The Qs. are issued together by PG, and PG does NOT restrict the Q. use to something like “Q not valid with any other offer,” etc. Therefore, all Qs. can be used in one transaction and each item can become “sponsoring” and “sponsored) simultaneously. I like to hear if someone has different perspective on this.

If you were to forget what I just said above, then in your transaction, the second free Bw Q should have been accepted and pushed through just like the other bw Q.-It would have been the same repetition for the second BW along the same lines. Also, here one could argue that 2 deos have already “sponsored” 2 other fellow deos in that transaction, so they can no longer sponsor any more items-In which case, then none of the BW Qs would be accepted.
